midnight haze ( k. bakugo x reader, slow burn, hurt x comfort, anxiety, fluff )
part 1, part 2, part 3
It was late. You shouldn’t even be awake, but you couldn’t sleep with all that was going on in the world.
So you decided to do something productive: bake. You needed something to focus your energy onto and who didn’t love cookies? You were sure your dorm mates would appreciate some in the morning when they all awoke.
You had very minimal lighting, but were wearing your glasses so that wasn’t an issue. You also had a pair of earbuds in one ear so you could monitor for any noise or disturbances you may be causing by being up so late into the night. The music was soft and meant to be soothing, you hoped it might make you sleepy with time, but it didn’t take and eventually you sat down next to the oven while you waited for your timer to run out.
“What are you doing?”
You nearly jumped, your hand coming up to clutch your chest as you pulled out your earbud and looked up at the person standing there.
“Jesus, you’re quiet.”
“And you’re not.” The blond countered.
You frowned at him,“Sorry, I couldn’t sleep.”
Bakugo sat down across from you, eyes glancing at the oven briefly before looking at you again,“How much longer?”
You glanced at your phone before looking at him and shrugging,“Seven minutes.”
He said nothing as he turned on the stove and placed a pot of water on. He stood and watched it until it was hot enough to pour into a mug with a teabag hanging off the side. He held it out to you, your eyes focused on the fact that it was his mug, his favorite color, his initial, his.
“For me?” You asked, unsure.
“Drink.” He said.
You took it and slowly took a sip, the tea was unfamiliar in taste and you figured it might also be one of his. Usually Momo was the one to offer you tea, you weren’t well versed in them, but did enjoy the taste whenever you had one.
“Did I really wake you up?” You asked as guilt settled in the pit of your stomach.
To your knowledge, Bakugo was a heavy sleeper.
He eyed your timer again.
“No.”
“Oh.”
You didn’t really know what else to say. You stopped the timer before it could make noise and stood up, placing the mug on the counter and picking up an oven mitt instead. The cookies smelt amazing as you pulled them out and part of you wanted to taste one, but the other part worried you’d get judged for eating it so late. Instead, you placed them on a rack to cool and took another sip of the tea.
You felt his gaze on you.
“Aren’t you gonna eat one?” He asked.
You shrugged for the second time,“They’re too hot right now, maybe tomorrow.”
“It’s already tomorrow.” He deadpanned.
There was no way your face wasn’t red as embarrassment flooded your mind, now you felt even worse for him being awake despite him saying it wasn’t your fault. The heat of the tea concealed your blush but fogged up your glasses, which was arguably even more mortifying, as you suddenly remembered that you were wearing them. No one ever saw you in them. You always made sure to wear your contacts in class and in costume for training, around anyone besides your parents.
Before you could do anything about it, the frames were plucked off your face and you watched dumbfounded as Bakugo used his t-shirt to clear them back up for you. You briefly eyed the tiny sliver of skin exposed by him using his shirt.
“Why can’t you sleep?” He brought the lenses up to his eyes to make sure they were good before placing them back on your face.
The question was unexpected, the whole interaction was, in fact. He was the last person you’d expect to care. Well… you didn’t know if he actually cared but still. You gulped, did you want to confide in him? You were never really close, I mean, sure, he didn’t yell at you the way he did the others and often times you’d worked together and managed to take care of your assignments without arguing. But you weren’t friends. At best, he tolerated you.
While you continued to hesitate, he walked over to the rack of cookies and plucked two out of the bunch. He bit into one, showing no signs of liking or hating it.
“How is it?” You couldn’t help seek validation, even if it was from him.
He held out the second cookie to you and you took it. One bite, two, they were fucking amazing. Not to toot your own horn, but if you were good at anything, it was baking.
He finished his off but said nothing on the taste or quality, you had a feeling chocolate chip wasn’t his favorite but didn’t dare ask what was.
“You gonna answer my question?”
You sighed and took another slow sip of tea before the mug was pulled from your hands and you watched Bakugo tip it back and down the rest. You watched with an open mouth as you didn’t know whether to be offended since he’d made it for you or go red at the fact that he’d drink from the same cup as you without care. As he rinsed the mug in the sink and set it down to wash later, he looked back at you with raised brows, okay…
“I’m worried.” You fidgeted with your fingers now that you didn’t have the mug to hold onto,“About Midoriya, about the fate of Japan… the world, actually. I wonder how it’ll all end, and whether all of us will—”
Your voice cracked, you took a deep breath,“You know?”
He sighed. “You gonna cry?”
Okay, that kinda hurt, you thought to yourself. Stubbornly, you held in your remaining feelings as you shook your head, you couldn’t say no or else you’d definitely shed a tear or two.
“Worrying won’t help him, or any of us.” He spoke up after a second,“What you need is rest, so that when they need us we’re able to do something. I know it’s all words or whatever, but that’s about all I can offer. Put your shit away, I’ll walk you back to your room, that tea should be kicking in any minute now.”
You looked at him with a questioning gaze and he scoffed.
“Relax. I didn’t slip you anything, I drank some too. It’s just some shit I buy, it soothes and helps you sleep. C’mon, I’m tired.”
You nodded and left it at that, quickly working to put your baked goods in a cute cookie jar you’d purchased once and writing a note for your classmates to help themselves and that they were fresh. You added that you’d clean up your dishes in the morning and your initials at the end with a smiley face. When you turned back around, Bakugo was waiting and he let you walk ahead of him.
It didn’t take long to reach you door, but when you did what he said surprised you.
“Leave your door open. Mine will be too.” He didn’t say it, but the implication was there. He’d be there if you needed anything.
“Okay.” Was all you responded with.
You didn’t know if it was the tea, or the fact that you felt a little lighter after telling someone a bit of what you were feeling, but you were definitely starting to feel tired and you couldn’t help reach up to rub one of your eyes.
“Nice glasses.” He teased.
You were thankful for the darkness to hide your blush as he ended it with,“Night.”
He was already walking away when you whispered so low he surely couldn’t have heard it,“Night… Bakugo.”

the one thing I am full-bore conspiracy theorist about?
daily contact lenses
or, well, not their existence, period. they're a valid health option that is best for some people, medically. but the sheer aggressiveness with which they're being pushed nowadays
the last few times I went to the eye doctor for my annual check-up, she was HEAVILY on my case to switch to dailies. like, to the point of arrogance and condescension when I said I preferred to stick with monthlies (I've worn contacts since I was 12, for reference). I also posted about it on a forum and got massive negativity in response, as well as being talked down to by someone claiming to be an optometrist himself
now if this were like...anti-vaxxer sentiment I'd understand that reaction. but from what I've heard, while monthlies do carry a higher risk of eye infections and such, they're not medically unsound or unsafe across the board. I'm willing to accept that risk, and since science has not found that they're terrible and should immediately be discontinued, I feel like my wishes should be respected and not belittled
point two: plastic waste. they say it's somehow less than using monthlies, but frankly I just don't see how that's possible. 365 of those little eye chips- times two! -and their packaging, add up to less than a case and a bottle of solution every few months, plus 24 contacts and their packaging? it doesn't make sense to me, and it doesn't help that I mostly see contact lens websites repeating this "fact." of course all contacts produce plastic waste, and I'd be perfectly willing to accept this as one of those You Have To Consume; You Just Decide What Areas Of Your Life Are Optimal For Minimization of Waste And What Aren't things, if dailies weren't being pushed so hard
(also I found two studies showing that monthly-replacement soft lenses produce less plastic waste than daily disposables. which, like. yes, this should be obvious, but here we are. granted, that's only two, and both studies emphasize that dailies and their accoutrements can be recycled, but see below)
some big companies have "contact recycling programs" but like. who's to say that's not greenwashing? where's the oversight? where are the investigations into what these programs actually DO? god knows we've been there before with recycling and corporations trying to pull the nylon-poly-blend Vegan Wool(TM) over our eyes
they're also more expensive than monthlies, which like. does not lend a positive slant to optometrists pushing them so stridently
on top of that, I and some other monthly users have noted that our contacts aren't lasting as long as they used to. for me, it was 17-18 years of smooth sailing with barely any problems, and as of like a year ago my contacts barely last two weeks without clouding up, ripping, chipping at the edges, causing my vision to blur, becoming uncomfortable...my brand did change around that time, so I hope it's just that, and the sample size of other monthly users I've pooled is VERY small. but it sure seems interesting that they suddenly started pushing a product that doesn't last long enough for people to notice low quality, around the time that at least some users of the longer-lasting version start having problems
you're pooh-poohing all of my concerns- which are indeed backed up by science, it seems! -with a "fix" that relies on big companies being honest about recycling, to push me from a non-ideal but still medically sound option to another that makes you more money?
I'm normally a pretty grounded person but I'm full-on tinfoil hat about this one

The last daniel fic was delicious. my brain has been working, Danny ric absolutely knows your full skincare routine just because of how much he admires you (I currently have six serums in rotation) so maybe one night reader comes back after a night out or something and doesn’t remember anything. So in the morning Daniel informs her that the skincare routine has not been missed and telling reader exactly what he used and how he used it, being so proud of himself. <3
Daniel Ricciardo x Reader Fluff ☁️
This is the cutest request ever, thank you sm!! Daniel is deffo to the type to look after his gf like a Princess (who even if he doesn’t know the exact names of everything) but I hope this is okay! <3
No warnings just Daniel being cute af and taking care of drunk!reader.
Tumblr media
“So I was thinking for next weekend we could- uh, babe, what even is that?” Daniel paused, frowning at the door as he caught sight of you using your Jade Roller Gua Sha. “My Gua Sha.” You casually responded, glimpsing back to him in the mirror before continuing with your daily massages.
“Whatt…” Daniel slowly spoke stepping closer and sliding a gentle hand over the back of your waist. That’s how he always was, so soft with all his movements with you. The look of confusion in your face made you giggle as you spun around kissing his cheek adoringly. “Six steps, babe. It’s all just skin care.”
“Ah okay.” He pretended to know what was going on, eyes roaming over the several bottles neatly stood up on the work surface. “What’s this?”
“Tinted moisturiser? You want some, stops your skin from aging so badly and gives you a tan.” Daniel leapt back seeing you ready to apply some. “I’m good!” He did not want any tan on his face. “Maybe I should start doing your skin care.”
“That’s okay, babe, I don’t really understand all of it.” He was right, it would be another six months of being together before he understood vaguely each step. He knew how important it was to you, those mysterious bottles travelled with you everywhere, he even found a couple things lingering in the fridge. That’s why when you came stumbling in drunk at 2am, Daniel knew exactly what he had to do. “I’m too tired to wipe my makeup off.” You slurred, sighing as you slumped over the edge of the sink. You’d brushed your teeth, that felt like enough for your tired out, drunken brain.
“Awww god, never thought I’d see the day you weren't doing all that shit to your face!” He laughed, already washing his hands in preparation. “Mmmh.” You lazily responded as he dried his hands, pulling your hair back with your fluffy headband to get your face clear. His hands messed with your hair slightly, swiping it back out of your eyes carefully. Drunkly, you’d press messy kisses to his face, in complete adoration of the sexy Australian that you called your boyfriend.
“Eyelashes.” You whispered, pointing it before pulling off the strips and sticking them onto the side. Daniel proceeded to use your makeup cleansing balm, being as gentle as ever as he massaged the product into your face, wiping it clear of the foundation and product. The eyes were particularly tricky, so he reverted to a makeup wipe. But with everything else he felt like a pro, cleanser, moisturiser, some weird thing you called ‘serum’, lip balm, hell he even took your literal contact lenses out for you.
You were a certified mess, borderline passed out at the bathroom counter, so when you woke up feeling a hungover mess, you were borderline concerned as to why your skin felt so lovely and fresh. Your fingers felt for any remnants of mascara or brow gel on your face, but felt nothing. Your lips were smooth as you rubbed them together and any greasy foundation from last night had been cleaned straight off.
“Mmmh.” Not thinking too deeply into it, you threw an arm around Daniel, wrapping his warm body closely to you to escape the chilly blow of the air conditioning.
“Are you hungover, baby?” The Australian besides you sent shivers down your spine with his husky voice. “Mmmmh, kinda.” Your eyes remained shut against his chest as he pressed a light kiss to your forehead. “I wiped your makeup off last night.”
“Thank you, Daniel.” You tiredly hummed, rubbing his chest in appreciation. “Full… full moisturiser and everything.” This caught your attention. You shifted, sitting up slowly so the blood wouldn’t rush from your head.
“Oh yeah? Is that why my skin feels so nice?” The two of you were caressing your face. “I think I did everything, babe. I’m becoming a master at this. I used your wax melt thing first, literally melted off your makeup.” He cleared his throat. “Then I cleaned. Twice, like you always do…” at this point you were climbing on top of his hips, straddling him out of the pure excitement that Daniel memorised all of this (even if the names of things weren’t exactly spot on). “Put on ya moisturiser, all those serum things, your lip balm, spot cream that I steal- I even rolled your face for more than two minutes with your thing.”
“Gua Sha?” You’d giggle, your heart warm with appreciation. “Gua Sha.” Daniel confirmed. “Oh, Daniel.” You swooned. “I do love you. You didn’t need to do all that. Weren’t you tired?” “Nah, it’s cool. I’m pretty sure I didn’t miss a step and now you’re still pretty, all because of me.” He teased as I nudged his belly playfully. “I take care of you that’s what I do.” He announced proudly as your grin would be widespread.
“I know you do. Thank you, baby.” He’d be so warm and cuddly, holding you into his chest with muffled groans, and oh my god he’d have the biggest smile on his face ever. He was high key so proud of himself for nailing each skin care step that he’d literally take over for you each time you would do it on an evening. Eventually he would nail all of the steps (and names) and eventually he himself could nail you in return!

hello, hello! can we please have some descriptions of what the ros look like and what their dynamics will be with mc? or can be if we get multiple personality types with mc! thank you!
Here you go!
Below the cut because it's long lol kgkskf
I don't have time atm but I'll make a proper intro for all the ros
Dawn
Hair: messy and ear-length (she cut it after a Saturday night meltdown a while back). Half of it is dyed purple, and the other half is naturally black Eyes: Dark brown. Dawn uses contact lenses Height: 163 cm Build: Scrawny Skin: Honey brown Race: Southeast Asian Other: Dawn has a few piercings. Her arms are covered in tattoos.
Personality: resilient, quick-witted and determined. Dawn knows what she wants (to get rid of Seth) and she knows how to get it (using MC). She's never hidden her intentions, or lied about her objective. Dawn's distaste for deities is evident since the moment MC meets her, and she seems to faintly rejoice in reminding them. A very intelligent woman, Dawn loves street racing and causing some trouble online. She ‘works’ as a hacker.
Tropes: Rivals to friends to lovers, Forced proximity, (possible) Rivals with benefits.
Bruno
Hair: cropped short, dark brown/nearly black hair. Eyes: Light brown. Bruno uses glasses. Height: 181 cm Build: Average and soft, a bit chubby Skin: Bronze Race: half Hispanic, half East Asian
Personality: neurotic, idealistic and uptight. Otherwise known as MC's companion in jail, Bruno has been recently caught for a crime that is a product of his own very uncharacteristic and rare ambition: knowledge. He's a very intelligent individual, although not particularly assertive. This historian and divorced dad knows more about MC than he lets on, though Bruno insists he was just at the wrong time at the wrong time.
Tropes: Devotee/Worshipper X Deity, (Bruno's) Strangers to friends to lovers, Parent RO.
A Moonless
Hair: long (f!A, middle back / m!A and nb!A, shoulder-length), jellyfish cut. It's naturally brown with a colorfully dyed front. Eyes: Hazel. Height: f!A and nb!A, 170cm / m!A, 177cm. Build: Skinny Skin: Tan Race: Indigenous (unknown) Other: A has a few tattoos on their arms and legs.
Personality: caring, playful and a bit temperamental. Despite their new, much more modern look, A is and acts just like a human MC once knew and loved, Zain. A is protective of those they care about, and they're never afraid to speak their mind. They're Dawn's coworker at the Speakeasy, where VR services are offered to its clients.
Tropes: One-sided (MC) pining, Apparently reincarnated old flame/friend.
A’s hair inspo:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Vex
Hair: Buzz cut. Eyes: Naturally light brown, V has modified them to have synth eyes (they're a very pale green, with a faint glow). Height: 186 cm Build: Athletic Skin: Honey brown Race: Southeast Asian Other: More than half of V’s body has been modified. Their arms and legs are synthetic.
Personality: dependable, loyal and stoic. Vex is Dawn's older sibling, and while their relationship is not at its best, Dawn will always be V’s sole priority. They might not be the most affectionate person in the world, but when Vex cares they're willing to defy every norm they so dutifully abide. They've worked as a law enforcer for Lord Seth and the government for a few years.
Tropes: (V's) First love, Mutual pining, Slow burn.
Eris
Hair: coiled light brown afro. People know and recognize Eris by the wigs she wears, among which a white shoulder-length bob is the most iconic. Eyes: Dark brown. Eris often uses colored contact lenses (mostly pink, white and blue). Height: 173 cm Build: Skinny and slightly lean Skin: Ebony Race: Black Other: Eris has a few body modifications. Her left arm isn't flesh but metal.
Personality: charming, humorous and flirty. Eris (real name: Estelle Lawrence) is a celebrity in every sense of the word. She knows just what to say and how to say it, she's likable, friendly and very talkative. Beneath the public persona everyone adores, Eris is a complete mystery.
Tropes: Strangers to friends to lovers, (optional) friends with benefits, (optional, stc) Fake relationship.
Seth
Hair: long dark brown, with a few braids Eyes: light brown with golden specks Height: 193 cm Build: Lean, very muscled Skin: Olive Race: Middle Eastern Other: has a short beard
Personality: blunt, practical, and very reckless. Seth acts before he thinks (a trait that he and everyone find quite inconvenient) and seems to hate planning ahead. The God of War has a very dry/deadpan sense of humor. MC remembered him to be more outgoing, but Seth’s cold-hearted reputation precedes him.
Tropes: Enemies to lovers, Immortal love, Wrong place wrong time, (possible) ex-friend or ex-crush.

Hard agree about canned bubble teas, so many brands over here keep trying to fool people into thinking they can make it work but the technology just! Isn't! There! Yet! It's like the Theranos of beverages. There's a brand here that does the popping boba version in a non-milk tea - I find it slightly less offensive because I have qualms about canned milk drinks, but its also not great as the weird little alginate skins are thicker than if you get them fresh from a boba place, presumably so they're less fragile. But a lot of them pop anyway so sometimes you just get a mouthful of oversweet tea with a bunch of limp empty skins in it, like drinking a bunch of contact lenses in juice.
Anyway as a committed bobahead, certified #ballsucker, the dream of shelf- stable bubble tea is several years away. Would love to hear your thoughts on the San Pelly G soft drinks, their pomegranate + orange one with the little tinfoil hat is my number one carbonated drink.
The tech won't really ever be there unless they figure out how to integrate straws into the can unfortunately. And the world is becoming increasingly hostile to straws. That said where I live the bubble tea flows like water from round every bend so there's really no reason to get it from a can anyways
Regarding canned milk, my dear friend was voicing similar concerns earlier this night. Most canned dairy tends to use like milk powder which has been pasteurized and had all its moisture boiled off and, honestly is probably less susceptible to bacteria than like, canned vegetables are. They use the same kind of shelf stable milk powder in most regular boba so I'd imagine canned boba is probably even more like contained on account of the canning process. But I find aversions to milk products tend to be more psychological. I've been working to rid myself of illogical mental hangups towards foods but we all have our limits. Milk isn't one of mine, eggs are, but lactose occasionally gives me trouble.

How to Spot Fake Cartier Sunglasses: A Complete Guide
Cartier sunglasses exude luxury, elegance, and style, making them a coveted accessory for fashion enthusiasts. However, the high demand for these exquisite eyewear pieces has led to an influx of counterfeit products in the market. Knowing how to spot fake Cartier sunglasses is essential for ensuring that you invest in authentic pieces. In this guide, we will explore the key features to look for, tips to differentiate genuine products from fakes, and why shopping from reliable sources like Luxe Replica Watche can make all the difference.
1. Examine the Packaging
The first step in determining the authenticity of Cartier sunglasses is to inspect the packaging. Authentic Cartier products come in high-quality boxes or cases. The logo should be embossed and look crisp, with no signs of fading or smudging. The inside of the case should be lined with soft fabric, while the outside is generally sleek and well-finished. If the packaging feels cheap or poorly made, it's a sign that the sunglasses may be counterfeit.
2. Check the Logo
One of the most obvious ways to spot fake Cartier sunglasses is by examining the logo. Genuine Cartier sunglasses will have the logo printed clearly and accurately. Look for:
Font Style: The logo font should be elegant and consistent with Cartier's branding.
Placement: The logo is typically located on the temples or lenses. Ensure that it is correctly positioned.
Quality: The logo should be perfectly printed without any smudges or irregularities.
3. Inspect the Build Quality
Authentic Cartier sunglasses are crafted with precision and care. When examining the sunglasses, pay attention to the following:
Materials: Genuine sunglasses use high-quality materials, such as metal and acetate, which feel sturdy and substantial.
Hinges: The hinges should be smooth and robust, allowing for easy folding and unfolding without any wobbling.
Weight: Authentic Cartier sunglasses tend to have a certain weight to them due to their quality materials.
4. Look for Model Numbers
Every pair of authentic Cartier sunglasses has a model number, which is typically located on the inside of the temple. This number can help you verify the authenticity of the product. To check, visit Cartier's official website or contact their customer service to confirm whether the model number exists and matches the style you are considering.
5. Check the Price
If the deal seems too good to be true, it probably is. Authentic Cartier sunglasses come with a premium price tag. If you're finding a pair at a fraction of the cost, it's likely that they are fake. Always compare the prices at recognized retailers and authorized dealers to gauge a reasonable price range.
6. Buy from Reputable Sources
One of the best ways to avoid counterfeit Cartier sunglasses is to purchase from reputable sources. Websites like Luxe Replica Watche specialize in high-quality replicas that mimic the luxury look without sacrificing style. Ensure that the seller is credible and offers a return policy, which can be a good safety net if you have any doubts about your purchase.
7. Seek Professional Authentication
If you're still unsure about the authenticity of your Cartier sunglasses, consider seeking professional authentication. Many luxury boutiques and online services offer authentication services where experts can verify the product based on various factors such as materials, construction, and packaging.
Conclusion
Spotting fake Cartier sunglasses requires attention to detail and a bit of knowledge about what to look for. By examining the packaging, logo, build quality, and model numbers, you can significantly reduce the chances of falling for a counterfeit. Remember, purchasing from a reputable source like Luxe Replica Watche can ensure that you receive an authentic product that reflects the luxury and quality associated with the Cartier brand. Stay informed, and enjoy your shopping experience!

How to Tell Fake Cartier Glasses: A Comprehensive Guide
When it comes to luxury eyewear, Cartier glasses are renowned for their exquisite craftsmanship and iconic designs. However, the allure of Cartier has also led to a proliferation of counterfeit products in the market. If you're considering purchasing a pair of Cartier glasses, it's crucial to know how to distinguish genuine pieces from fakes. In this article, we'll guide you through the key indicators to identify authentic Cartier glasses and help you make an informed decision.
1. Examine the Packaging
Authentic Cartier glasses come in high-quality packaging. The box should be sturdy, and the interior should be lined with soft fabric to protect the glasses. Look for the Cartier logo on the box and ensure that it is well-printed and not a sticker. If the packaging seems cheap or poorly made, it's likely that the glasses inside are fake.
2. Check the Logo
The Cartier logo is one of the most telling features of authentic glasses. Genuine Cartier glasses have a well-defined logo etched into the frame, not just printed. Inspect the logo closely; it should be clear, precise, and free of any smudging or irregularities. On fake glasses, the logo may look uneven, poorly defined, or incorrectly spelled.
3. Inspect the Quality of Materials
Authentic Cartier glasses are made from high-quality materials such as acetate or titanium. The weight of the glasses should feel substantial, indicating durability and luxury. If the glasses feel flimsy or lightweight, they are likely counterfeit. Additionally, check for any rough edges or poorly finished surfaces, which are common in fake products.
4. Look for Serial Numbers
Every pair of authentic Cartier glasses comes with a unique serial number. This number can typically be found on the inside of the temple arm. To verify authenticity, you can contact Cartier's customer service or check their official website to see if the serial number matches their records. If the glasses lack a serial number or it appears tampered with, it's a red flag.
5. Assess the Lenses
Cartier glasses are equipped with high-quality lenses that provide optimal clarity and UV protection. When examining the lenses, look for imperfections or distortions in the glass. Authentic lenses should be crystal clear and free from scratches or bubbles. If the lenses appear subpar, it’s a strong indication that the glasses are fake.
6. Evaluate the Price
While luxury items can be found at discounted prices, be wary of deals that seem too good to be true. If you find Cartier glasses being sold for a fraction of their retail price, it's likely a counterfeit. Genuine Cartier products maintain their value and are not sold at extreme discounts. Always buy from reputable sources to ensure authenticity.
7. Purchase from Trusted Retailers
Your best bet for buying authentic Cartier glasses is through authorized retailers or the official Cartier website. If you're considering online shopping, sites like Luxe Replica Watche offer a range of luxury replica items that are designed to provide an affordable alternative without compromising on style.
8. Seek Professional Verification
If you're still uncertain about the authenticity of your Cartier glasses, consider seeking professional verification. Many optical shops and luxury goods experts can help confirm whether your glasses are genuine. While this may involve a small fee, it can save you from making a costly mistake.
Conclusion
Knowing how to tell fake Cartier glasses can save you time, money, and frustration. By examining the packaging, logo, materials, serial numbers, lenses, and price, you can make an informed choice when purchasing luxury eyewear. For those seeking high-quality replica items, be sure to visit Luxe Replica Watche for stylish and affordable options. Remember, investing in authentic luxury items is not just about the brand—it's about the quality and craftsmanship that come with it.

Contact Lenses Prescription
Everything You Need to Know About Contact Lenses Prescription
Tumblr media
What Is a Contact Lens Prescription?
A contact lens prescription is a specialized order written by an optometrist or ophthalmologist. It provides precise details about the type of contact lenses best suited for your eyes and vision needs. Unlike eyeglasses, contact lenses sit directly on your eye,  Contact Lenses Prescription so factors like lens diameter, base curve, and material are crucial.
A contact lens prescription includes:
Power (PWR or SPH): The main corrective strength of the lens, measured in diopters. Negative numbers indicate correction for nearsightedness (myopia), while positive numbers indicate farsightedness (hyperopia).
Base Curve (BC): A measurement of the curve on the back of the contact lens. This is key to ensuring the lens fits the shape of your cornea.
Diameter (DIA): The diameter of the lens, important for how the lens sits on your eye and ensuring comfort and proper fit.
Brand or Material: The specific brand or type of material is often included, as contact lenses differ significantly in their composition. Some materials are better suited for dry eyes, Contact Lenses Prescription others for oxygen permeability.
These measurements are uniquely tailored to your eyes and must be followed exactly when ordering or buying lenses.
Differences Between Glasses and Contact Lenses Prescription
One of the most common misconceptions is that a glasses prescription can be used to order contact lenses. However, this is not the case for several reasons:
Distance from the Eye: Glasses sit about 12 millimeters from your eyes, while contact lenses sit directly on the cornea. This difference can alter how the prescription strength needs to be adjusted.
Base Curve and Diameter: Glasses don’t need to account for the curvature or diameter of the eye, but contact lenses do, making these measurements essential for contacts.
Fitting Process: Contact lenses need to be fitted properly to prevent issues like discomfort, dry eyes, or even infections. The fitting process is different for contact lenses than it is for glasses.
How to Get a Contact Lens Prescription
Before purchasing contact lenses, you must undergo a comprehensive eye exam and a fitting by an eye care professional. Here’s a step-by-step guide:
Schedule an Eye Exam: Book an appointment with an optometrist or ophthalmologist. They will check your visual acuity, assess whether you have any eye health issues, Contact Lenses Prescription and determine whether you’re a good candidate for contact lenses.
Contact Lens Fitting: After the exam, the eye doctor will conduct a contact lens fitting. This involves measuring your cornea, evaluating tear film production (to ensure you have sufficient moisture for contact lens wear), and trying different lenses to see which fit best.
Trial Lenses: In many cases, you’ll be provided with trial lenses to wear for a few days. The optometrist will assess how well they fit and how comfortable they feel during a follow-up visit.
Finalize the Prescription: Once the fitting is complete and you’re comfortable with the lenses, the doctor will write your official contact lens prescription.
Types of Contact Lenses
When it comes to choosing contact lenses, several types are available, each designed to meet different needs. Some of the most popular options include:
Soft Contact Lenses: Made from flexible plastics, these are the most commonly prescribed lenses. They’re comfortable and easy to get used to, and they come in both daily disposable and monthly disposable varieties.
Rigid Gas Permeable (RGP) Lenses: These are made from a firmer plastic that allows oxygen to pass through. They provide sharp vision and are durable but may take longer to adjust to than soft lenses.
Tonic Lenses: Designed for people with astigmatism, these lenses have different powers in different meridians of the lens to correct the uneven curvature of the eye.
Multifocal Lenses: These lenses are for individuals who need both distance and near vision correction, often due to presbyopia (age-related farsightedness).
Colored Lenses: These can enhance or change your eye color while also correcting vision. Some colored lenses are purely cosmetic, with no corrective power.
How Often Do You Need to Update Your Contact Lens Prescription?
Contact lens prescriptions are typically valid for one year, Contact Lenses Prescription but your eye care professional may recommend more frequent visits if you have specific eye health concerns. Regular eye exams ensure that your prescription is still correct and that the lenses continue to fit well and feel comfortable.
It’s important to avoid wearing expired lenses or a prescription that’s out-of-date. As your vision changes over time, Contact Lenses Prescription the wrong prescription could cause eye strain, headaches, or blurry vision.
Contact Lens Care and Maintenance
Wearing the right prescription is just one part of maintaining good eye health while using contact lenses. Proper lens care is crucial to avoid eye infections, discomfort, and long-term complications. Here are some key tips:
Wash Your Hands: Always wash your hands thoroughly before handling your lenses to avoid transferring bacteria or debris to your eyes.
Use Fresh Solution: Never reuse old contact lens solution. Always use fresh solution to clean and store your lenses.
Don’t Over wear Your Lenses: Follow the recommended schedule for wearing and replacing your lenses. Over wearing can lead to complications like dry eyes, discomfort, or infection.
Avoid Sleeping in Contacts: Unless your lenses are specifically designed for overnight wear, avoid sleeping with your lenses in. It reduces oxygen supply to the cornea, Contact Lenses Prescription which can lead to infections or other issues.
Follow Instructions: Always follow your optometrist’s instructions regarding how to use, clean, and store your contact lenses.
Signs You Might Need a New Prescription
Even with a proper contact lens prescription, you may notice signs that it’s time to revisit your eye doctor for a check-up. These include:
Blurry Vision: If your vision becomes blurry even when wearing your lenses, it could indicate that your prescription has changed.
Eye Discomfort: Any pain, irritation, or excessive dryness may signal that your lenses no longer fit properly.
Frequent Eye Infections: If you experience recurrent conjunctivitis (pink eye) or other infections, Contact Lenses Prescription it may be a sign that your lenses are not working well with your eyes.
Conclusion
A contact lens prescription is more than just a number. It’s a carefully tailored document that ensures your lenses fit properly, correct your vision, and are safe for long-term use. Getting the right prescription requires a professional eye exam, Best Eye Doctor in Delhi NCR a proper fitting, and ongoing care. With regular check-ups and good maintenance habits, contact lenses can provide you with comfortable, clear vision while fitting seamlessly into your lifestyle.

How to Prevent Glasses from Fogging: A Comprehensive Guide
Tumblr media
Foggy glasses can be a persistent and frustrating issue, especially when transitioning between different temperatures or wearing a mask. Whether you’re stepping out into the cold, cooking in a steamy kitchen, or exercising, fogged lenses can obscure your vision and create unnecessary hassle. Fortunately, there are several effective strategies to keep your glasses clear and fog-free. Here’s a comprehensive guide to help you tackle this common problem.
1. Clean Your Glasses Regularly
Keeping your lenses clean is the first step in preventing fog. Dirt and smudges can attract moisture, making fogging worse. Clean your glasses daily with a gentle soap and water solution, then dry them with a soft, lint-free cloth.
2. Use Anti-Fog Products
Anti-fog sprays and wipes are specifically designed to combat lens fogging. These products create a thin film on your lenses that repels moisture. Apply them according to the manufacturer's instructions for best results. Make sure to choose products that are safe for your specific type of lenses.
3. Adjust Your Mask Fit
For those who wear masks, ensuring a proper fit can significantly reduce fogging. A snug mask that fits well over your nose and cheeks will minimize the amount of warm air that escapes upward onto your lenses. Consider using masks with a nose bridge or inserting a piece of medical or sports tape along the top edge to seal the gap.
4. Create a Soap and Water Barrier
A simple and effective home remedy involves washing your lenses with soapy water. Leave a thin layer of soap on the lenses without rinsing it off completely. The soap creates a barrier that prevents fog from forming. Just make sure to use a gentle soap and avoid any residue that could blur your vision.
5. Apply Shaving Cream
Apply a small amount of shaving cream to your lenses and then wipe it off with a clean cloth. The shaving cream leaves a residue that helps to prevent fogging. Ensure you don’t use too much, as it can cause smudging.
6. Choose Anti-Fog Lenses
If you wear glasses regularly and struggle with fogging, consider investing in lenses with an anti-fog coating. These specialized coatings are designed to prevent condensation and are available from most eyewear retailers.
7. Adjust the Position of Your Glasses
Wearing your glasses slightly lower on your nose can help reduce fogging. This positioning allows more airflow and reduces the amount of warm air trapped between your face and the lenses.
8. Use Contact Lenses
As an alternative to glasses, consider wearing contact lenses. Contact lenses don’t fog up and can be a convenient option, especially in environments where glasses frequently fog.
9. Keep Your Face Dry
Wipe your face and forehead regularly to keep them dry. Excess moisture on your skin can contribute to fogging, so keeping your face dry can help minimize the problem.
10. Avoid Rapid Temperature Changes
Try to avoid sudden changes in temperature. For example, if you're coming indoors from the cold, wait a moment before entering a warmer room to allow your glasses to acclimate gradually.
Bonus Tips for Specific Situations
Cooking:
When cooking, especially in a steamy kitchen, use an exhaust fan to reduce humidity. Alternatively, consider using anti-fog wipes before you start cooking to keep your lenses clear.
Exercising:
For those who exercise while wearing glasses, consider using a headband to absorb sweat and reduce moisture on your face. Additionally, apply an anti-fog spray before your workout.
Winter Activities:
When participating in winter activities like skiing or snowboarding, use goggles with anti-fog coatings and ensure a snug fit to prevent warm air from reaching your lenses.
By implementing these tips, you can keep your glasses clear and enjoy fog-free vision throughout your day. Whether you’re wearing a mask, stepping into a warm room, or engaging in outdoor activities, these strategies will help you see clearly and stay fog-free.
