La Sociedad de la Nieve is one of those films I could watch 1000 times, and I'd realize something new every single time. I rewatched it again last night. And it really hit me for the first time. Numa is a ghost, telling the story in the past tense. The narrator is a ghost. This film is so many things. Including a ghost story.
