summary: what happened in a world where reader played on the USWNT in the 2019 World Cup?
part one (part two here)
Tumblr media
Knowing that the call at eight am could change the pathway of my career, I couldn’t sleep. My mind spins rapidly as I tried to close my eyes and manipulate myself into believing that tomorrow would be an ordinary day, but that didn’t work.
Hi! My name is Y/n L/n and I am a soccer player who plays for club Olympique Lyon. I am a forward who many people call the “next big thing,” since I am only 19 years old.
After winning the Champions League final with Lyon, scoring a brace which involved a penalty, my career seemed to go in a great path that was unordinary for a teenager.
I sat on my bed, criss-crossed, as I stared at the digital alarm clock on my bedside table. 4:38am. Three hours and twenty two minutes until I get the call.
After traveling to my hometown in the United States, Virginia Beach, I traveled to the last International camp, before the World Cup, in order to “try out” for a World Cup roster spot. My mentality is great, my skills during the camp were phenomenal and I believe I proved that to the coaches, but I am young.
The coaches will prioritize other forwards like Alex Morgan, Tobin Heath, Megan Raphinoe, and Christen Press first. I am aware of that. They’ve won the 2015 World Cup four years ago and have the experience to go up again. However, everyone knows that the USWNT will need to bring on youngsters to set themselves up for future competitions, so I have confidence that I'll be the one they’ll call.
Three hours and twenty minutes later, I sat at my dining room table in Lyon, preparing for the unexpected.
My phone’s flashlight goes off a few times and my screen brightens at the sight of my International Coach’s number.
“Hey.” I spoke first as my finger pressed on the green button. The nervousness in my voice was present, I wanted this decision to go my way.
“Hi Y/n! How are you feeling right now!?” My United States coach, Jill Ellis, asked.
“I’m- Um— I’m nervous.” I told the truth. I heard a small chuckle come from the coach which I raised my eyebrows at. The tension on my end could be cut with a sharp knife. The lack of sleep made my nerves worse too.
“Well I have some news for you.” Jill said. I swallowed on nothing as the next few seconds can predict how my day– sorry— year will go. I know she has to call other players about the decisions for them so our call won’t last long, thankfully.
“Let me start off by saying that all of the coaching staff, including myself, needed to consider someone who is young and has a lot of quality. We were impressed by the amount of work you've put into our international camps and we’ve kept up on your club experience at Lyon for more reference. So, we’ve chosen you to be on the roster to represent the United States in the 2019 World Cup.” The excitement in Jill’s voice grew when she announced that I would be in the World Cup.
However, most of what she said sounded muffled through the happy tears that poured down my eyes. I couldn’t believe it! My hard work paid off.
“Thank you!” I said.
“No Thank you Y/n! We’ll see you soon, Bye!” Jill ended the call before I jumped in joy.
A couple of months later, I sat on the bench in France as the USWNT was up against Thailand in the group stage. It was the 64th minute and we were up 7-0. As I sat on the bench, my heart raced faster out of nervousness. Eventually, my head turned when I heard her call my name. I am excited, but my stomach felt like there was a rock in it. The weight of expectations settled squarely on my shoulders as I looked at the ongoing game.
We are winning the game by seven, but I still wanted to prove my best to the coach, teammates, and the fans. When I stood up, my legs felt like jelly making my way to the touchline. The crowd's roar was deafening, every step closer to the pitch amplifying my nerves.
“You’re going to go on for Raphinoe. We are up 7-0 but use this as an opportunity to get a feel of the field and experience.” Jill spoke with empathy as she patted on my back, allowing me to do the required warmup on the sideline before standing at the midline.
I tried to shake off the doubts, reminding myself of the countless hours of practice that had brought me to this moment. The nerves in my legs wouldn’t calm down. Maybe I can use that as a source of adrenaline.
Running onto the field in replacement for Raphinoe, the enormity of the occasion hit me like a ton of bricks. The stadium seemed to stretch endlessly all around me, filled with thousands of spectators watching my every move. I took a deep breath, trying to calm my racing heart. The ball was at the other end of the field, giving me a moment to collect myself.
Then, Julie Ertz shot the ball over the left side of the field to gain space. The ball landed on my ivory-colored cleat and I dribbled around a Thailand opponent before passing to Alex Morgan who lightly tapped the ball behind the net. Goal!
My jaw dropped in realization as Alex jogged over to hug me. Some of the girls on the pitch came to congratulate me on the assist as others clapped their hands. I didn’t take it offensively, we are up 8-0 now and there's not much to celebrate now besides the inevitable win. My first touch in the World Cup gave an assist which I later found impressed spectators.
I glanced at my teammates when the game started again, finding reassurance in their encouraging, yet concentrated, nods and smiles. They had confidence in my abilities, even if I struggled to find it within myself sometimes. With each passing second, my nerves began to settle, now replaced by a fierce determination to prove myself worthy of wearing the US jersey.
Eventually, I found myself caught up in the rhythm of the play. My eyes were on the ball, blocking out the noise of the crowd and the pressure of the moment. With each touch and pass to a teammate, my confidence grew and my movements became more fluid and precise.
Then, in the 73rd minute, it happened. A perfectly timed pass by Samantha Mewis found my feet. At this point I wanted to be the goalscorer, not the assist. With a burst of speed, I raced towards the goal and dribbled around the defenders who were in the way of the goal, the screaming chants of the crowd fading into the background as they saw what I was doing. At that moment, there was only me, the ball, and the goal.
My right foot unleashed a powerful shot, the ball rocketing into the back of the net with a stunning curve. Goal! The stadium erupted into cheers, the sound washing over me like a tidal wave of euphoria as my teammates ran to congratulate me on my first ever goal in the World Cup. For a brief moment, I allowed myself to bask in the glory of my achievement, the weight of my nerves finally lifted off of my shoulders. The game ended in a 13-0 win for us!
Later in the World Cup tournament, I found myself on the bench as my heart pounded at the match in front of me. Thanks to Alex Morgan and Christen Press who scored in the Semifinal against the Lionesses, we were in the World Cup final against the Dutch.
As the game enters the 79th minute, with the score being 2-0, the coach calls my name. This took me by surprise since I didn’t believe that any substitutes would join the final. When I stood up, my legs felt like lead as I made my way onto the pitch for Tobin Heath, who had an injury earlier in the tournament and couldn't play all 90 minutes. The roar of the crowd washes over me, drowning out the doubts that threatened to consume me since I am on the right wing.
With only minutes remaining, I can’t make a mistake. I have to make every second count. We are up 2-0 but the Netherlands could easily catch up if we make a few errors, they’re EURO champions and have a statement to make for the world.
As I focus on the ball, blocking out the noise of the crowd and the pressure of the moment, the 89th minute comes along. Krieger gets the ball from a Dutch forward and launches the ball in the air towards Rose Lavelle. The girl who scored the second goal in the final headed the ball over the field again before it landed onto my feet— This is my chance.
My feet take the ball towards the goal. Veenendaal, the Dutch Goalkeeper, sets herself up in a ready position. As I race closer to the goal, my heart pounds in my chest. The defenders close in but I dribble around them effortlessly. An Oranje defender missed her chance to side tackle me as my left foot unleashed a powerful shot. The ball grazed the tip of Veenendaal’s fingers and the ball hit the back of the net with stunning precision. Goal!
The stadium erupts into cheers as I run to the corner of the pitch to celebrate. A typical knee slide that allowed my knees to slide through the soft grass before I stood up and turned to my teammates who rushed to congratulate me. Everyone on the bench got up and ran to me as well to celebrate. At that moment, the voice in my head told me that I’ve done it. My goal gave everyone the reassurance that we secured a World Cup win for the USWNT four times.
After winning the Bronze Ball, Gold Medal, and being able to take pictures with the World Cup trophy itself, I cried. The tears wouldn’t stop after my bestfriend Mallory Pugh hugged me as she cried as well. We were so happy, I have never felt so proud of myself and my team.
Hopefully 2023 will secure us a three-peat….

Ted Lasso has completely taken over my life rn so as a coping mechanism and as a lil treat for the finale tomorrow here's my ✨predictions✨ for what will happen:
- the writers are pulling a camp rock 2 move aka Richmond will not win de cup but instead lose at the last moment
- their opponents are West Ham (idk if they mentioned the opponents yet but i feel like we're still owed a rematch with WH), Nate's players will try to celebrate with him
- Ted returns to Kansas, where he will start coaching a football (soccer for y'all Americans) team. I can't tell whether Beard will stay or go back home too...
-Roy becomes head coach, with Nate as his main strategist
- they're not gonna make RoyxKeeleyxJamie explicit, but will frame things so that you can definitely read that into it if you want. They will make RoyxKeeley a thing again, but idk if we're ready for an actual throuple on this show with arguably not working up to it enough so far
- Colin will get to kiss a fella in semi-public but it won't be a team mate (y'all heard he thinks Bumbercatch is fit and really ran with it lmao)
- Rebecca and Sam won't get together as long as he stays with Richmond, cuz of the power dynamics
- Some of the players will get traded. If it's Sam (he's underutilised at Richmond with so many ace players already there), he and Rebecca give their relationship another go
- Bex divorces Rupert. She, Rebecca and the secretary start an ex-wives club, and the three of them become Rupert's daughter's mom-coven
- Trent's book will be an absolute success. He will stay at Richmond, either as press liaison or bc he starts his own sport column/blog
- Keeley hires some new employees for KJPR and finally has the fun office vibes she's always dreamt of
- They throw the biggest goodbye party for Ted and everyone cries super hard when he leaves. They all go to wave him off at the airport. Ted goes back to England every six months bc he misses all of them so much

what would you do if we never made a sound? - Chapter 1
Tumblr media
Summary: Hiori wants to know more about Isagi’s metavision. Isagi teaches him in more ways than one.
Characters: Isagi Yoichi & Hiori Yo
(A/N: Inspired by the vault track of I Can See You from the Speak Now TV of Taylor Swift. Beware of tags and rating of this fic. I won’t be tolerating any complaints in the comments section if I had given sufficient warnings ahead of time. Read at your own risk. I don’t own anything from this franchise. Respective ownership belongs to Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura for this wonderful manga and Taylor Swift for this alluring song).
You brush past me in the hallway
And you don't think I, I, I can see ya, do ya?
I've been watchin' you for ages
And I spend my time tryin' not to feel it
The raucous cheers and laughter rang out at the other side of the field in the middle of the glaring heat from the sun.
It was summer in June when they held a soccer match at their school field in Kyoto.
The seats were filled with students and parents of the players around that time.
Although he could surmise that the only reason why his parents were there was to act as a surveillance camera on his skills and his performance at the match.
They neither cared about anything else if he performed well in front of the audience and in those matches.
He stared dully at the cheering crowd while sitting on the bench after the match was over with the towel slung on his back.
“Hiori! Ya gonna go home after this?” The familiar voice of Karasu cut through his wandering thoughts and faced him fully.
“Yep. My parents would hold a celebratory dinner later and they want me ta go home early.” Hiori answered.
“Oh right. Yer parents were expecting ya after this match. See ya at the school tomorrow I guess.” Karasu bid him a casual goodbye.
“Yeah. See ya tomorrow.” Hiori waved back idly and watched him go in silence until he was out of his sight.
It was a summer that was supposed to be filled with the normal pages of his youth around his friends.
But instead, it’s torn pages of the predicted future from his adulthood that he didn’t even hold in his grasp.
It’s held by his parents in a vice grip around his neck and never had the soccer ball looked like an anvil on his back, keeping him drowned on the ocean bed of misery and regret.
“Damn. Isagi getting fired up suddenly out there.” Igaguri’s voice jolted him out of his reveries and brought him back to the present.
Hiori wiped down the sweat from his forehead as he sat down on the available benches inside their locker room, heaving a deep breath.
It was an exhausting match but he could still feel the adrenaline rush inside of him and the way his heart pounded wildly inside his chest.
There was nothing going on inside his brain except for the usual static akin to an offline device when not in use.
“It’s Isagi. It’s not him if he’s not like that on ta field.” Hiori muttered absently before he took the bottle of water beside him and twisted off the cap from the lid and drank it heartily, his gaze following Isagi’s movements at the other side of the field.
Their eyes met.
Midnight blue eyes clashing against his aquamarine irises.
If he wasn’t used to it, Hiori would’ve spat out his drink and coughed repeatedly because of that sudden, intense gaze directed by the young striker to himself.
But Hiori knew what it was for.
He had seen those gaze several times that he had lost count.
No words were needed to be spoken out loud between the two of them since he knew what it was meant for.
It’s going to be a long night for them.
But what would you do if I went to touch you now?
What would you do if they never found us out?
What would you do if we never made a sound?
The loud sloshing sounds of water from the showerhead drowned out any vulgar noises that the two males made in one of the stalls which were covered heavily by a shower curtain.
Hiori was pinned against the wall as Isagi’s hungry mouth was kissing and nipping around the sensitive skin around his neck voraciously as he pounded him with vigor against the walls.
“Ngh… Ah…! ‘Sagi… slowdown will ya…!” Hiori moaned out lecherously as his body trembled like a leaf against him.
“Can’t… Even if I want to… Fuck! Hiori! Still goddamn tight no matter how many times we did this already!” Isagi growled lightly against his skin as one of his hands made its way towards his neglected cock and stroke it furiously, the pleasure and ecstasy doubled tenfold against Hiori’s body who could do nothing but to mewl and drool like a bitch in heat.
“Ah Isagi! Ya hafta to control your mouth against my neck…! Ngh… Don’t leave any marks please!” Hiori moaned out as his body quivered helplessly against him. With every hard thrust and voracious plow of his cock inside his velvety walls, it only brought Hiori closer to the edge and on the brink of satisfaction.
“I’m not going to… I just like tasting it…” Isagi mumbled hotly against his skin as his sinful mouth continued traipsing tempestuously on the sensitive portions of his neck while his hips snapped forward against him that had him arching against the other at the voracious impact of his cock hitting into the deepest part of him.
“Ah… F-fuck…! Isagi…” Hiori couldn’t help the curse falling from his lips as his mind and body went into an overdrive, reducing him into a messy, helpless kitten against him as Isagi continued to rail him wildly against the tiles of the bathroom, drooling and moaning wantonly.
One of Isagi’s hands snatched on his scalp and pulled his face closer to his and captured his lips in a wild and dirty kiss, swallowing every moan and mewl that left Hiori’s lips.
“Better keep quiet, won’t you? Someone might walk in and hear us.” He mumbled hotly against his lips to which Hiori could only moan out in response inside his mouth.
Hiori gripped his back firmly and wrapped his legs tightly around his hips for support and leverage as Isagi continued to fuck him into oblivion, panting and moaning against his mouth as he let the other’s tongue plundered the insides of his mouth and licked at the crevices beneath it.
With a few more thrusts and furious strokes on his aching cock, Hiori’s body trembled like a leaf against his arms and reached his peak, coating his hand and their chests with the hot splashes of his cum. He pulled away to let out a weak moan and light gasp as Isagi continued to chase his own release and railed him mercilessly.
“Damn it… Fuck…” Colorful words and expletives fell from Isagi’s lips as his body reached his limit and climax, painting his insides white with his cum and filled him up to his brim instantaneously.
“Shit… Yer much intense today… Too pent up after our match with ta Ubers…?” Hiori asked hoarsely as he still clung to him weakly, his legs were shaking from overexertion and overwhelming sensation of their carnal embrace earlier.
Isagi only grunted in response. He carefully lifted him up and helped him pull away from him, the cum flowing down between his legs.
Hiori winced slightly at the sight and the soreness that he felt around his hips and legs once he managed to stand alone on the ground.
“Fuck…” He breathed out. “Good thing we’re here so it’s less hassle to clean up…” He added with a shaky smile on his lips before he grabbed the bar of soap and started to rub it on his body.
“I can help you…” Isagi trailed off.
“Hm?” Hiori looked at him questioningly.
“I can help to clean you up… if you’re okay with that?” Isagi clarified, looking up at him hesitantly.
His eyes were no longer intense and a deep shade of blue. But instead, he was now looking at him with the usual expression of that familiar earnestness and sincere curiosity under those periwinkle orbs that it’s hard to imagine that he can be wild and reckless under the sheets.
It made Hiori chuckled softly under his breath. “Yer weird sometimes… We already did more than kissing and ya seen me naked countless times so I think it’s too late for ta shy guy act.” Hiori replied teasingly as he handed him the soap.
A small pout made its way towards Isagi’s lips as he took the soap from his hand and started running it around his shoulders.
“Shut up… It’s only right to ask you first before anything else…” He grumbled under his breath as he could feel the tips of his ears tinting a pinkish set of hues.
Silence enveloped them for a moment.
Hiori was content to hear the soft splash of water running down their bodies until a trite smile inched across his lips.
They can listen to the sounds of their bodies’ needs.
But the invisible thread of agony loomed around them and they didn’t make a sound about it.
'Cause I can see you waitin' down the hall from me
And I could see you up against the wall with me
And what would you do, baby, if you only knew?
That I can see you
His back oddly felt cool against the wall when he decided to rest on the ground after they were done practicing on the field.
Hiori’s eyes glanced dimly on the remaining players on the field who’re mainly stretching out and cooling down.
Most of their German team members already dispersed and the remaining members were mostly from Blue Lock. He could see Yukimiya already leaving the field with a towel slung casually around his shoulders. He could see Raichi’s usual scowl a mile away and bickering with Igaguri which was the usual familiar sight around their team. Then his eyes strayed past him…
…on a further distance…
Isagi was holding the soccer ball and staring at the net with an indecipherable look on his face.
There was an expression on his face that was shrouded by the shadows to which Hiori can’t get a read of.
Hiori had always remembered Isagi as a determined yet polite and friendly person in general upon first meeting him alongside with Nanase.
A curious and eager lad if he surmised especially in the field of soccer. His passion for the sport itself was evident on his gaze every time the topic of it came into their light discussion, spouting some soccer trivia and possible strategies and commentaries on a match that’re they watching with online.
Nevertheless…
…his gaze was unfathomable.
His countenance was akin to a vast ocean in the middle of nowhere: bottomless and surrounded by a brilliant darkness.
It was a time like this that Hiori’s thoughts would circle and wonder what would be hiding beneath those penetrating gaze of his.
Was he seeing what was in front of him or just staring straight ahead?
Hiori wondered how that would feel like…being subjected to that impenetrable gaze of his…
…. or even feeling Isagi’s passion for the sport itself.
Because when Hiori thought about it all he can see was a ball meant to be scored a goal inside the net just for the sake of the others…just for the sake of his parents…
The familiar dull feeling crawled inside of him afterwards.
It’s akin to a level inside of a game that he was not fond of playing into but continuously played around just for the sake of going to another higher plane of living.
He vaguely remembered the time on Isagi asking him his insight about some predicament involving soccer that he couldn’t seem to get past of.
It was evident on how his brows would knit in deep thought and analyzation, his lips morphed into a thin line and his ocean blue eyes staring intently at something as if it would hold the answers to his own quandary.
He couldn’t forget that certain look on Isagi’s face when he suggested on trying at another strategy and looking at the problem on another angle because it’s the same with playing at a game in a console or mobile and you’re trying to get past that level to rose higher at another level.
Those expressive, deep blue orbs blinking owlishly at him before a realization dawned on his face and he smiled up at him triumphantly.
He didn’t know why but that expression all alone directed to him as if he held all the answers to the universe lit something within him, dousing his entire being with a furnace that sparked a light inside his heart and made the gears in his head turned up like a cogwheel.
He was used to the daily events coursing through his life that nothing ever fazes him.
The calmness in his entire being was present because the events that he was seeing was like a game playing with routes in them depending on what your decision maybe.
It could be good and it could be bad. And if you’ve had enough common sense, you’ll chose a path where it’s less obstructive and problematic for you.
Hiori chose a path where he could be a glue to his parents.
Hiori chose a path that’s risk free and less problematic for him.
Nevertheless…
…. he chose a path where he became a stagnant ivy creeping pathetically on the greying walls and watch life passed him by as he was stuck on the level of the game that he despised of.
So, seeing Isagi looking at him like that stirred something within him.
An unknown emotion that he couldn’t identify nor parsed of.
Isagi was the opposite of him.
Despite his jovial and easygoing nature with everyone, he was brimming with life on the field.
He was fierce, reckless, unrelenting, cunning, and fiery on the field as evident on how he had managed to go toe on toe with Sae and Rin on the field back then and even managed to steal the ball from Rin and scored that goal which determined their fate and sealed their victory previously on the U-20 match.
He was intense and tenacious when it came to soccer that everything on his sight pales in comparison except for getting that ball inside that net to get that taste of victory and witnessed the soul crushing defeat of the enemy.
Isagi was like that.
An embodiment of the Blue Lock program itself and it’s ideals.
It’s no wonder that out of all the players in the program, he was the rising star and ace itself.
He was the ball of fire blazing ferociously on the path he traipsed on and he understood on why there were several people in the program and in their team were drawn to him like a moth to a flame because he was shining brighter than everyone else.
And Hiori was no exception to it at all.
That was why he was now involved with him in this weird situationship that he couldn’t even put a name on.
Were they lovers?
Certainly not.
Were they best friends?
He’d beg to differ because the cheerful yet talented guy with yellow highlights on his hair at the Barcha team seemed to fill that role for Isagi as evident on how they were close to each other.
Were they friends…?
…or should he put them into the category of acquaintances?
But acquaintances don’t have conversations where time seemed to elapse and hadn’t notice of.
They don’t get entangled into a night of searing passion and dark pleasure after a grueling day at a practice or at a match.
If he was going to categorized it, they were simply just friends…
…with benefits.
Or in simplest terms, fuck buddies.
They had neither talked explicitly about it.
It just happened one day.
Maybe it was inevitable.
When you’re around Isagi it was bound to happen one way or another.
The monochrome world of Hiori inside the soccer field burst into a multitude of colors ever since he witnessed the blazing passion and amazing technique of Isagi on the field one fateful day.
He couldn’t erase the sight of that manic grin and that glittering gaze he held on to that field, eyeing everyone on the match as if they were NPCs that he needed to simply passed by in order to score the goal himself.
Hiori’s mind started to drift off once again, dwelling on a certain event in the past which had led them to what they were now.
“Isagi, I want ya to teach me that.” He said to him in the middle of their practice one night on one on one.
Isagi held the ball under his heel with ease, looking at him in vague interest and curiosity.
“That thing you do on ta field… like when ya we’re in a zone or something… the way ya were able to predict everyone’s moves quickly and make a decision in a split second without any hesitations… I’d want that as well.” Hiori looked at him earnestly.
Isagi grew quiet for a moment, parsing his words inside his head until a flicker of realization sparkled around his eyes.
“Ah, you mean the metavision?”
“Metavision…? Is that what you called it?” Hiori asked curiously.
Isagi nodded. “It’s sort of an evolved vision of a player who got a high understanding of the field and what the intention of the players are. I can’t explain it to you in a simpler way but I guess it comes out when you’re in an intense situation inside a match.”
Hiori blinked a few times before he nodded in understanding. “So, it’s like a player unlocking a new skill of some sort which puts them at an advantage over everyone else while in the middle of a game.”
“Sort of. You’d much gain an understanding of it when I demonstrate it to you so c’mon Hiori steal the ball from me if you can.” It was a benign request but Hiori knew the challenging undertone beneath his casual voice and lax expression on his face.
And Hiori couldn’t help but to rise onto that challenge.
Isagi had possessed a deceptively copacetic demeanor which made his opponents underestimate him until it was too late.
It gnawed his insides in intrigue and excitement at the same time. The gamer spirit within him rose in curiosity to explore more of it.
The time passed out in a blur.
That’s what happens when one was enjoying with what they’re doing with someone else.
In Hiori’s case, he had never felt revitalized and energized enough in a soccer match until now.
He found himself going toe on toe with Isagi.
He knew that feral grin of his.
He came out to play and spare no mercy even if you’re a comrade of his.
His egotistical self was shining through on the field.
And he couldn’t help the delicious shiver ran down through his spine despite witnessing it a couple of times in the past.
But this is different.
Because Isagi’s dark, mesmerizing gaze and attention was focused solely on him.
A predator stalking its prey on the field.
But Hiori would be damn to be captured if he didn’t give some well needed fight against him.
Nevertheless, Hiori lost momentum and came crashing down on the ground with Isagi, his lips accidentally slotting against the others and feeling the warm and soft sensation of his mouth against his own. Their legs tangled together, hot breaths brushing along each other’s before Hiori seemed to gain his common sense and felt the mortification burned on his cheeks.
He quickly pulled his face away from his. “Ah, sorry Isagi! I didn’t mean to…! It was an accident and I—.”
His words died on his throat at Isagi’s next actions.
“Hiori feel free to punch if me if this is out of line for you.” Isagi whispered breathlessly against his ear before he removed any gap between the two of them and claimed his lips in a sudden kiss which earned a surprise moan from Hiori’s mouth at his unexpected actions and the immediate electrifying sensation that coursed through his veins at the instantaneous yet tantalizing embrace alone.
Hiori froze for a moment, the overwhelming sensation of Isagi’s lips moving sensually against his own bombarded his entire being. His mind grinded into a screeching halt. His nerves were skyrocketing inside his pulse.
And his heart thundering wildly inside his chest that he swore he could be deafened by it because of how loud it was.
Nevertheless, as each moment passed them by, Hiori found himself growing weaker against Isagi’s deep embrace. His defenses slowly crumbling down and his mouth started to reciprocate the other’s movements.
He was now returning his kiss deeply and his arms instinctively wrapped themselves around Isagi’s neck for support as the proximity of their bodies made him dizzy from the onslaught of pleasure alone.
Soon, Isagi grew bolder and rolled them away from the grass to switch their places: with Hiori now pinned beneath him, his hands were now on his waist while his lips continued to kiss him deeply and his tongue battling fiercely against Hiori’s.
Hiori’s mind and body were clouded in pleasure and want, reacting instinctively against Isagi’s ministrations and let his tongue tangled along with his in a sensual dance for domination, getting lost in the intoxicating embrace of his. He was slowly getting swept away from the whirlwind of passion flying around them when one of Isagi’s legs brushed along his thighs teasingly which made him moan against his mouth as the bolts of electricity shot right through his veins.
Isagi took the opportunity immediately and let his tongue plundered eagerly at the entrance of his mouth, licking and exploring the crevices beneath the sensitive seams of his mouth.
“Ah, Isagi…” He whined softly against his mouth, trembling like a leaf against his arms.
It was then that Isagi decided to pull away and looked at him intently, his eyes were a deep shade of indigo as the want and need swirled along his pupils.
Hiori could only stare back at him with half lidded eyes and breathed raggedly beneath him, his cheeks were flushed and a slight drool was starting to slip down on the underside of his lips.
“I did cause a slight predicament for you, haven’t I? Would you let me do the honors in taking care of it?” Isagi asked throatily as his gaze went down on the tent in his soccer shorts which made Hiori’s face burned out in mortification upon the realization of where Isagi’s eyes were staring at.
“I-I… There is no need—.” He stuttered out, his words stumbling out of his mouth before he was cut off midsentence with a husky laughter leaving Isagi’s lips.
“No need to be pressured. I’m just suggesting. We can stop here if you want. Although your body begs to differ.” Isagi stood up and offered his hand to him.
Hiori swallowed thickly before accepting his hand and helped him in standing up. He was unable to look at him in the eyes. The heat still flooded on his cheeks. Isagi offered. He refused.
It’s just simple right?
But Hiori knew that his body was not a liar unlike his mouth.
And it was screaming for Isagi’s touch and kiss which made him breathless and left a trail of fiery need on every fiber of his being.
The moment Hiori tugged on Isagi’s sleeve to get his attention while they went back to their rooms was the moment Hiori knew it was his imminent downfall to the treacherous yet sinful slope towards Isagi’s arms.
“I don’t mind if ya take care of it…” Hiori said in a hushed voice, his cheeks were coated in rosy hues as he said this.
Isagi paused and finally looked at him in silence, his gaze boring right into the depths of him which made his heart jumped out of his throat.
A small yet captivating smile broke out of Isagi’s lips and Hiori was a goner once his eyes settled on that mesmerizing sight alone.
“Glad to hear it… I knew you wouldn’t if it’s me anyway…” He whispered huskily before he took his hand and pulled him into their room which were still empty as it is the time of their scheduled dinner and everyone was in the cafeteria and were busy eating amongst themselves.
Soon the room was filled with their muffled moans and low groans, the cacophony of their restrained sinful voices silently rang out against the four walls of the room as he let him claim his body that night and let their union became one.
“Hey, hey. You, okay? I’m trying to call you earlier to eat at the cafeteria after this. You seem to be spacing out.” Kurona’s concerned voice washed over his senses and brought him back to the present.
Hiori blinked a few times at him before he smiled apologetically at him.
“Ah, sorry about that… Guess the exhaustion from today’s practice caught up with me. Meet ya at the cafeteria later?”
“Sure, sure. Isagi and I will be waiting at our usual spot. Be quick though. Seats are being occupied at a faster rate at this kind of time around.” Kurona replied before he bid him a quick goodbye and left.
Hiori’s smile remained on his face for a few minutes until it melted off his face when Kurona was finally out of his sight.
He glanced at the spot where Isagi had been standing a few minutes ago to which it was now empty and signified that the male had already left.
Outside of soccer, they treated each other as the same as before.
Congenial, lax and hanging around with each other alongside with Kurona and the others if they had free time.
They had treated each other as if they had never fucked several times before.
Or rather Isagi had treated him like a casual comrade of their team and a normal friend outside of it.
It would be fine to Hiori…
… because they don’t have a relationship, right?
It was a simple hook up to release some tension and pressure after the matches against the other teams.
Even for a gamer like him, it should be easy enough to understand.
Easy to understand that they don’t have any obligation towards each other outside of the bedroom.
They’re free to do whatever they want with their lives without interfering in it.
So, why the hell there’s a prickling sensation coursing through his veins every time Isagi would ignore him and pay more attention to his other friends especially Bachira when he spotted him the other day playing against each other in a practice match on that field?
Why was it that when he saw those genuine, sincere smiles directed at other people aside from him, he felt his chest tightening from an unknown reason?
But most of all why the hell would it bother him?
Hiori swallowed thickly. He knew that if ventured for an answer, he might not be ready for it despite the protestations of his own heart.
Hiori was the only who saw the other side of Isagi beneath the fracture of his erected walls within himself that separated the line between soccer and something else.
He knew that they only saw each other as relievers to each other’s stress and disappointments to their personal lives.
So why was it that he couldn’t see the boundary between their professional relationship and personal one?
Because Hiori knew deep inside of him that he was bewitched by those captivating smiles of his and those azure irises that bored right through his soul.
He had fallen without a parachute.
And he needed to pick up the pieces of his heart that have shattered down on the ground.
And we kept everything professional
But something's changed, it's somethin' I, I like
They keep watchful eyes on us
So it's best that we move fast and keep quiet
You won't believe half the things I see inside my head
Wait 'til you see half the things that haven't happened yet
(A/N: Reviews are amusing. Let me hear them from you).

Day Sixty-One
One of my GOV students made up a test during flex block today, and got the highest test score she’s ever gotten on a first attempt, and her progress is my favorite thing about today.
Other favorite things: talking World Cup soccer with a handful of senior boys (me and one of them predicted today’s 1-0 USMNT victory), having both my GOV and World lessons click.
In GOV, I talked my way through the 1800s and early 1900s with the help of my students, who’d done some research on various topics yesterday: the Order of the Star Spangled banner, the Know-Nothing Party, the treatment of Chinese immigrants during the Gold Rush, People v. Hall, the Chinese Exclusion Act and Geary Act, the Asiatic Exclusion League, Grant’s General Order No. 11, the exclusion of Jews from a variety of social organizations, Henry Ford and The Dearborn Independent, Black Codes, Jim Crow Laws, etc... and I filled in the history around whatever they told me. It was a good way to get everyone to participate, and to explain where some of the beliefs espoused by the modern white supremacist movement came from. They’re reading about said movement- namely, the reborn KKK- for homework, more on that tomorrow.
In World, my students crushed a vocab quiz, then read and annotated an article about World War II. We discussed what they’d learned, I fielded a bunch of questions (which was great, I loved how curious and engaged they were), and then I asked them what they knew about the Cold War since that’s up next. They have the basics down, so I can get right into the details that are relevant to what I want to teach in this unit.
I tried to do all my grading and planning before the afternoon bell, but I ended up staying a bit late to revise a set of slides I’m using tomorrow in World. I did make it home to see most of the second half of the USA-Iran game, though! Whew!

Introduction: Curious about the future?
Curious about the future? Future tense is like a crystal ball for predicting what's coming. In this blog, we'll explore the four main types of future tense, making it super easy to understand. From Simple Future to Future Perfect Continuous, we'll break it down. Plus, we'll tell a story about Sam, the adventurous explorer, using these tenses. So, if you want to make your words shine with the magic of the future, keep reading and practice using these tenses to tell your own stories or talk about what's yet to come!
Future Tense: What Is It?
An amazing look at for expressing acts, events, or states that will take place after the present is to use the future tense. It's similar to looking into a crystal ball and forecasting the future. We'll go through each of the four basic future tenses in detail along with examples to help you understand them.
1. Simple Future Tense
The simple future tense is straightforward. We use it to talk about actions or events that will happen in the future. To form the simple future tense, we usually use the helping verb "will" (or "shall" for some old-fashioned flair) followed by the base form of the verb.
Examples:
I will visit the zoo tomorrow.
She shall read a new book next week.
They will go to the park on Saturday.
2. Future Continuous Tense
The future continuous tense is used when we want to describe actions that will be ongoing or in progress at a specific time in the future. To create the future continuous tense, we use the helping verb "will be" followed by the base form of the verb and "-ing."
Examples:
We will be playing soccer at 3 PM tomorrow.
She will be studying all night for her big exam.
They will be traveling to the mountains next month.
3. Future Perfect Tense
The future perfect tense is all about looking back at actions that will be completed in the future before another point in the future. To form this tense, we use "will have" followed by the past participle of the verb.
Examples:
By the time you arrive, I will have finished my homework.
They will have eaten dinner before the movie starts.
She will have cleaned her room by Saturday.
4. Future Perfect Continuous Tense
The future perfect continuous tense is quite the mouthful it is not as hard to use as it may seem. We use it to talk about events that will continued to occur repeatedly until a specific period in the future. This tense is created by adding "will have been" before the verb's basic form and the suffix "-ing."
Examples:
By next year, he will have been living in that city for a decade.
They will have been working on the project for two hours when you arrive.
She will have been practicing the piano for years by the time she becomes a maestro.
Framing a story using Future Tensesource:
Tumblr media
Let's put our current knowledge about the future tense to a short story as we've collected its mysteries. Imagine Sam, a daring explorer, starting a mission to discover a treasure that has been hidden deep within the forest.
1. Simple Future Tense
Tomorrow, Sam will make his way into the jungle. Although he will confront many challenges, he remains dedicated to finding the treasures.
2. Future Continuous Tense
Sam will be exploring the deep woodland by means of an outdated map. The sun will be sinking, and the forest will grow gradually darker.
3. Future Perfect Tense
Sam will have walked a number of risky bridges before reaching the river. He will have taken his concerns and come into contact with wild animals.
 4. Future Perfect Continuous Tense
Sam will have been looking for the treasure for weeks before he finally finds it. His journey will have been filled with excitement, danger, and unexpected surprises.
Conclusion: Make your words sparkle with the beauty of the future
Congratulations! You have learnt to express actions, events, and claims which will take place in the future by using the future tense. You are now aware of the four primary future tenses and have seen how they function in the journey of our adventurous Sam.
For a chance to make your words sparkle with the beauty of the future, remember to use the future tense the next time you want to tell a narrative or discuss something that hasn't happened yet. Keep at it, and you'll soon be skilled at discussing the future.

Introduction
Hello! My name is Adriana. My family comes from Italy and England. My name comes from Latin origin meaning “from Hadria." If I could change my name to a fictional character, I would change it to be Ellie from The Last of Us. I've been told that I look like her and I think she is a strong character.
I don't remember much from my high school years. I believe the first day was more of an orientation and I had a lot of people I knew from my previous school there with me. The last day of high school we celebrated on the bus ride home. I think my favorite moment from high school was when I did our spring musical during my sophomore year. It got me to come out of my shell and be on stage. My least favorite moment I honestly don't remember. If I could do high school all over again, I would want to go in with more confidence.
I am a Liberal Arts major. I chose this major because I don't know what I'm going to do in the future. I am interested in animation though. I've loved animation since I was younger and found a great interest in it. It's fun to do but also stressful, however it gives me the chance to get creative.
I used to play sports when I was younger. I played a lot of basketball in elementary and middle school and I played soccer and track and field in high school. I like to draw and animate now as a hobby. I got into drawing when I was younger when me and my family would go to church. I have Tourette's syndrome and I had a lot of vocal tics. So in order for me to stay quiet during church, I would draw since I wouldn't tic while I drew. I found out that I could draw something almost perfectly when looking at a picture of it, and I drew a lot of Pokémon back then. I still draw them now.
Tumblr media
The last movie I watched was Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. I definitely recommend this movie even if you don't like animation. The story telling, art style, and character design is amazing and is well worth the watch. It is defiantly one of my favorite movies, but my all time favorite movie is probably Into the Spiderverse. I am a sucker for art styles and this one was just so pleasing to look at. The comic book look and how they use colors is just...wow. My least favorite movie would probably be Frozen 2. It was way too over hyped and was very predictable, although the music was good.
The last thing I created was a sketch of the wolf from Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. Its one of the best character designs I've seen in a while since its so simple yet so menacing.
Tumblr media
If tomorrow was my last day on Earth, I would want my last meal to be waffles. I just like waffles. Better than pancakes and I will fight you on that.

The World Cup has officially started. With Qatar hosting, this means they have played the first game with the home-field advantage. Qatar took the field vs. Ecuador today at 11 AM Eastern time. Ecuador ended up taking the 2-0 victory putting them at the top of their group a game in. Tomorrow 3 games take place. First is England vs. Iran at 8 am, which I predict England will win there. The next game is Senegal vs. Netherlands at 11 am, which I think Senegal will upset the Netherlands. The last game of the day is United States vs. Wales, where I hope that the US will pull off a victory there but is a sketchy game. In my opinion, I think that Brazil will end up winning the whole tournament but there is a lot of soccer to play in the next month. I am excited about the upcoming tournament and will update you all next week.

Artificial Intelligence has been revolutionary for the Sports Industry
Tumblr media
Artificial intelligence is the ultimate way of automatically learning what you want. It can simulate the actions of people; it can learn from experience, and it can adapt. The best AI applications can have their outcomes reflected in the real world: athletes’ performance, for example, can be accurately predicted based on their performances. At its best, this kind of automated learning is entirely self-sufficient. However, it may not be possible for a human being to notice the error. The human can see the error in the terminal output but does not understand it. In other cases, it may seem that the computer is operating in a deterministic way.
Tumblr media
Illustrative evidence
Before AI was a big business in sports, it was an art. With computers, computers were not capable of evaluating their performances well enough to have the athletes compete. The machines were not the experts, but the sport’s governing bodies were. For example, the 1983-88 period produced two Olympic Games in America and South Korea, and two World Cup games, in England and India. With the introduction of personal computers on each of those teams, they could work together more effectively because they could come to agree on everything. This was a cell that developed into a complete entity today called Artificial Intelligence.
AI in the sports industry can be used to analyze the movement of athletes and make decisions on whether they should take part in an Olympic Games. For example, when athletes train in the heat, it’s no longer only about creating an exact program to train to mimic the athlete’s body type. Instead, the performance science algorithms from sports science teams constantly update data to incorporate every little movement and reaction of athletes to improve their performance for the Games.
Artificial Intelligence in sports is the newest addition. We have seen several cases in which sports teams have relied on artificial intelligence to determine the best play to call their athletes for specific events. A few examples of this type of play: Saints, in the Premier League, have a strategy for using analytics to decide which play to take off in the dying seconds of games – as long as it’s not the first goal. Manchester United took the world by storm with their famous win over Crystal Palace. Wenger and company put together a remarkable display of defensive discipline. The highlight of that defensive display was the extraordinary resilience of their attacking style.
What is the Face of sports AI?
Artificial Intelligence in sports came across as bearing many titles like Automated training, AI prediction, and analytical sports, enabling professional athletes to perform better in competitions. The technology has been applied in several sports such as baseball, basketball, soccer, and football. In addition, in sports that do not use highly skilled athletes, such as skaters, tennis, and cycling, such analytics tools can better train these athletes to perform better. The challenge with traditional sport systems is that they can be extremely time-consuming to use, and the size of the playing field also limits players’ training. In contrast, a cycling system allows training and racing to occur on a much larger scale, with the athletes competing on a much wider playing field.
Sports AI follows a model that is still able to learn from experiences and adapt to changing situations. The AI can also use some of its own expertise to improve its knowledge of the world, in addition to the ability to respond to new challenges in the games it competes in. When AI plays a role in sports, one of its primary goals is to improve the human interaction when a player scores a goal. One possible technique to accomplish this goal is to train the agents with deficient intelligence that, in large part, memorize and analyze the actions, including their intended actions, and react to those actions based on their learned information.
Tumblr media
The athletes of tomorrow are the athletes of tomorrow. So the sport has to evolve into a machine-learning system that we could use to predict the outcome of a game, recognize the right time to attack a goal or make a difference in the result of an intense match. We could also use it to predict the outcome of a football match, the result of an international rugby match, or how well a basketball player will perform in an upcoming game.
Better conclusion to modern sports with full stop far ahead
AI in sports analytics is beginning to pay huge dividends and is already affecting an ever-growing number of organizations. We see the impact of AI in the sports industry through influential sports such as cricket, racing, football, tennis, basketball and many more. Artificial Intelligence in sports is an exciting area because it brings together a wide range of interesting applications. There is considerable research in this area with significant potential for big breakthroughs and enormous benefits for the sport. The challenges posed in AI in sport have been investigated throughout the years, and a large body of evidence has recognized their potential.
Employment predictive analytics and machine learning in sports management are on the rise, leading to much progress in this area. Many sports organizations, namely the International Olympic Committee (IOC), are creating standards to address the issues of gender pay in sports and individual sports. Additionally, professional sports organizations are moving in this direction with training camps and workshops that help athletes understand the different models to follow for making money in the sport. This helps bring about better balance and more money available for other sports to thrive. So the advantages of the Sports API, Data Sports Group, are pretty evident from the about context and persuasive to utilize their services.

How to make an opinion on a site that claims to be the best UK football prediction site?
Tumblr media
Could a tipster site that has just come up win the title of the best UK football prediction site? Yes, it could. There is no reason to disbelieve on the tips provided by a website with little experience in soccer betting. The website might be new but the tipper behind the website could be highly experienced and well connected.
In this blog we’ll discuss factors that make a better tips website
You stumble upon a tipster website while looking for a football match prediction for tomorrow. It is a new site but it promises excellent results. You check its experience and find that it has less than 3 year experience in soccer betting.
Would you believe in the site and its claim?
It all depends on your knowledge of soccer betting. If you believe that it is only an experienced tipper that can give accurate tips then you won’t rely on the claim made by the site. You will click back from that site and continue your search for an experienced tipster.
Let’s find reasons to believe on a new tips website Guarantee/Claim
If the website is giving guarantee of success, you can think about buying a tip from that site. But you should closely read the terms and conditions of guarantee before relying on its words. Guarantee of success is certainly a reason to rely on a new website.
Track record
A site that has a very little experience would have a little record to show. But whatever record it has, the record must be checked. For example, a site has only 1 year experience but it has won more than 90% of bets will be more reliable than a site with 10 year experience but less than 90% success rate.
Feedback
Here you can argue that a site that has spent little time in soccer betting would have limited feedback. You are true but whatever feedback you get about a site, you should pay attention to it. If you find that all the customers of the site are saying only good things about the website, you have a reason to rely on it.
Fee
