Demon Slayer Mugen Train Arc.
This episode is totally anime-original, and doesn’t exist in the original manga.
Shashoho-Ē  “Haa… N? A…Aa…Ha! A, Aa… Uaa!”
Rengoku Kyojuro “Umai!”
Kyojuro Rengoku “Delicious!”
Kisatsu-Taishi-Ē “A.”
Kyojuro “Umai! Umai!”
Kyojuro “Delicious! Delicious!”
Kisatsu-Taishi-Ē “En-Bashira, oshokuji-chu shitsurei shimasu.”
Demon Slayer A “Flame Hashira, forgive me for interrupting your meal.”
Kyojuro “Aa. Kokoni suwaruga ii. Oyaji-san, kono wakamono-nimo onaji mono’o.”
Kyojuro “Okay! Take a seat here. Mister, bring this young man the same thing I’m having!”
Kisatsu-Taishi-Ē “Yoroshiino-desuka?”
Demon Slayer A “Are you sure it’s okay?”
Kyojuro “Mochironda. Oremo, mo-ippai morao!”
Kyojuro “Of course it’s okay! I’ll have another bowl myself!”
Sobaya “Anta, kimochino ii kuippuri dana. Mattena.”
Soba shop owner “You sure eat with gusto, don’t you? Just sit tight.”
Kisatsu-Taishi-Ē “En-Bashira, kinono ohataraki, migoto deshita.”
Demon Slayer A “Flame Hashira, your work last night was stellar.”
Kyojuro “Iya, oniwa toso-shita-ato datta karana. Fusho-shita ano joseiwa do-natta?”
Kyojuro “No. It was after the demon fled, after all. How’s the injured woman doing?”
Kisatsu-Taishi-Ē “Ishiga iu-niwa, kizuatomo nokora-naide sumuto iu-koto desu.”
Demon Slayer A “According to the doctor, her wounds won’t leave her with any scars.”
Kyojuro “Soka. Shochiga hayakute yokatta.”
Kyojuro “I see. Good thing she got treated early.”
Kisatsu-Taishi-Ē “Hai! Gokatsuyakuno okage desu.”
Demon Slayer A “Yes. It’s thanks to your heroics.”
Kisatsu-Taishi-Ē “Itadaki-masu.”
Demon Slayer A “Thank you for the meal!”
Kyojuro “Korewa?”
Kyojuro “What’s this?”
Sobaya “Oreno ogori dayo.”
Soba shop owner “That’s my treat.”
Kyojuro “Arigatai!”
Kyojuro “Appreciate it!”
Kisatsu-Taishi-Ē “A, umai! Oyassan, uenoni mise dashitatte yatte-ikeruyo, kore!”
Demon Slayer A “Hey! Delicious! Mister, I bet you’d really thrive if you set up shop in Ueno!”
Sobaya “Ookina osewa dayo.”
Soba shop owner “What do you know about it?”
Kyojuro “Oyaji-san, keikiwa do-kana?”
Kyojuro “Mister, how’s business these days?”
Sobaya “Do mierune?”
Soba shop owner “How’s it look to you?”
Kyojuro “Waruina.”
Kyojuro “Sorry.”
→I think this line’s translation should be “It looks bad.” Although 悪いな(Waruina) can mean “sorry,” in this case Kyojuro is not apologizing but saying the shop’s business looks bad.
Sobaya “Kono ensende, kirisakimattenoga deteru-seide, mekkiri hitodega hecchimattayo. Yatoi-nin-nimo hima’o dasu shimatsusa. Konaidawa, kishano shashoga yararetatteyo. Soreni, Mugen-Resshatteenoga unko-chushini nacchmatta-daro. Uwasajana, yonju-nin-bakari jokyakuga kami-kakushini acchimattatte iuze.”
Soba shop owner “Thanks to all the talk about that Slasher being at large around here, people just stopped coming out at night. I even had to let my workers go. They say that a conductor got killed the other day. On top of that, do you know that the Mugen Train is out of service now? Rumor has it… that around 40 of its passengers just disappeared without a trace.”
Kyojuro “Ho, busso dana.”
Kyojuro “Oh… It sounds ominous.”
Kisatsu-Taishi-Ē “En-Bashira, hondai desuga, sono Mugen-Ressha, shozaiga wakari-mashita. Saru kikankoni, hitomeni tsukanu-yo hannyu-sareta-tono johoga.”
Demon Slayer A “Flame Hashira, getting back to why I’m here… We’ve located the Mugen Train. We’ve received word that it was secretly transported to a certain train shed.”
Kyojuro “Soka. Un, umai!”
Kyojuro “Is that right? Delicious!”
Kisatsu-Taishi-Ē “Mugen-Resshani mukai-masuka?”
Demon Slayer A “Will we be heading to the Mugen Train?”
Kyojuro “Umu. Daga sono maeni, shashono itaiga hakken-sareta eki’o kenbun-shite-miyo.”
Kyojuro “Right. But first… let’s inspect the station where the conductor’s body was found.”
―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

Fuku “Yeah. Not many customers today again, right?”
Tomi “Mainichi itteru-kedo, kurai jikanwa abunai-kara, ashitano otetsudaiwa ohiru-karani shiyone. Yoruwa oniga deru-kara.”
Tomi “I know that I say this every day, but it’s dangerous to be out after dark. Tomorrow, you can start helping out in the afternoon. Since the demons come out at night.”
Kaname(Kasugai-Garasu) “Ijo nashi!”
Kaname (Kasugai Crow) “All clear!”

Tomi “Haa… Sonna shinpaiwa otonaga sureba iino. Sochoto yoruwa, obaachan hitoriga yaru-kara.”
Tomi “You can leave that kind of worrying to us adults. I’ll take care of things in the early mornings and nighttime by myself, okay?”
Fuku “Obaachanga kirisakimani osoware-tara do-suruno!”
Fuku “And what are we going to do if you get attacked by the Slasher, too?”
Tomi “Antano migawari-nara honmo dayo.”
Tomi “I would be more than happy to sacrifice my life for yours.”

Kisatsu-Taishi-Ē “Eeeeee, ikinari!?”
Demon Slayer A “What? Just like that?”
Kaname(Kasugai-Garasu) “Kyojuro-sama, tanto-chokunyuga sugi-masu!”
Kaname (Kasugai Crow) “Lord Kyojuro! You’re being far too blunt!”
Kyojuro “N? Gofujin, nanika gozonjika?”
Kyojuro “Ma’am, is there something you can tell me?”
Fuku “O…Oni? Henna koto itte, na…nan-desuka? Chikazuka-naide!”
Fuku “D-Demon? What kind of talk is that? Wh-What’s wrong with you? Stay away from us!”
Kyojuro “Abunai! Sonnani buru-buru shite-itara, taisetsuna anpan’o otoshite-shimauzo!”
Kyojuro “Look out! If you keep shaking like that, you’ll end up dropping your precious bean paste bun!”

Tomi “Fuku, that’s enough. I don’t believe this man is a bad person.”
Fuku “…Gomen-nasai. Kono-tokoro, kirisakima-jikenno seide shinkeiga haritsume-chatte…”
Fuku “I’m sorry. I feel like I’m always on edge these days because of the Slasher incidents.”
Kyojuro “Ima-shigata mimini-shita tokoroni-yoruto, anata-gatawa kurai uchi-kara junbi-shite, ware-wareno tameni bento’o urini kite-kureruno-dana. Jitsuni arigatai. Sono-yona hito-bitoga kizutsuke-rareru-kotowa, kesshite attewa nara-nai.”
Kyojuro “If what I was just told is correct, you two start working while it’s still dark out and come to sell us those bento. I couldn’t be more thankful. No one should ever hurt people like you.”
Kyojuro “Anshin-suruga ii. Kirisakimawa orega katazukeru.”

Fuku “Um… If you don’t mind, could you maybe buy some bento?”
Kyojuro “Sodana. Dewa…zenbu itadako!”
Kyojuro “That’s a good idea! Okay! I’ll buy them all!”
Kisatsu-Taishi-Ē “A, aa… Ano…En-Bashira.”
Demon Slayer A “Excuse me, Flame Hashira…”
Kyojuro “Taino minani yoi miyagega dekitana. Koko-karawa ore hitoride iku. Gokuro datta. Dewa.”
Kyojuro “That’ll make a splendid gift for the other Corps members! I’ll be going on alone now. Thanks for your hard work. Goodbye.”

Oni “Uma-sona ningenwa kucchimauga, mazui yatsuwa yodooshi kizu-tsukete tanoshimunda.”
Demon “I’ll just devour the humans that seem tasty, but the ones that taste bad… I like to show myself a good time by tormenting them all night!”
Kyojuro “So-iu kotoka, Kirisakima. Fuyukaina yatsuda.”
Kyojuro “So, that’s what this is about, Slasher? I find you offensive.”
Oni “Kuyashi-kattara ore’o kitte-miroyo!”
Demon “If you don’t like me, then… let’s see you slash me!”

Kyojuro “Naruhodo. Omaeno hayasawa wakatta. Shikashi, kashin shinai kotoda. Sakuyawa ore-tachiga kita-tameni nigetano-kato omottaga, do-yara omaewa kanchi-suru-kotomo dekite-inakatta-yosu. Nige-ashi-dakewa, tashikani hayai-yodana.”
Kyojuro “I see. Now I know how fast you are. But I wouldn’t get cocky if I were you. Last night, we thought you’d fled because we showed up, but apparently, you never even detected us. It’s true that you’re quick to escape at least!”
Oni “Nani?”
Demon “What?”
Kyojuro “Sakuyano higaishamo, ore-tachiga jinsokuni shochi shita. Kizu-atomo nokorazu kaifuku suru-daro.”
Kyojuro “We were able to treat your victim from last night right away. She’ll recover without even a single scar.”
Oni “Ha! Tatoe iki-nobitato-shite, soitsuwa kyofuni issho shihai-sarete ikite-iku-daroyo.”
Demon “Even if she does survive, she’s doomed to be consumed by fear for the rest of her life.”
Kyojuro “Sowa sasen! Iyashi-gataki kokorono kizumo, ware-warega nagai jikan’o kakete teate shite-iku!”
Kyojuro “I won’t let that happen! We’re going to treat the wounds of her soul, no matter how hard it may be to heal them, for as long as it takes!”
Oni “Fu. Sono seigikan-zurani meni-mono’o misete-yaroka. Sono onna, mo-ichido koroshini itte-yaru.”
Demon “I’ll show that self-righteous face of yours a thing or two. I’m going to go kill that woman again!”
Kyojuro “Kanojono migarawa kakushite-iru. Omaeni mitsuke-dasu-kotowa fukanoda.”
Kyojuro “We’re keeping her hidden! You’ll never find her!”
Oni “Ku. N? Haha, jaa sono bento-urida.”
Demon “All right, then those bento vendors…”
Kyojuro “Ore-towa kankeino nai hito-tachida!”
Kyojuro “They have nothing to do with me!”
Oni “Shiriai nan-daro? Sore eki-ben daro? Dokoka wakaruze. Ugokuna.”

Kyojuro “Sorewa seikyu-sugiruna. Yonju-nin-ijomo kutta oniga, kono teidode aro-hazuga nai.”
Kyojuro “It’s a little too soon to be saying that. A demon who’s devoured more than 40 people is surely on a different level than this one.”
Kisatsu-Taishi-Ē “Ha… Dewa kirisakimawa, ware-wareno me’o kakuran-suru-tameno?”
Demon Slayer A “Then, the Slasher was only here to serve as a distraction?”
Kyojuro “Aruiwa so-nano-kamona. Izureni-seyo, Mugen-Resshano oniwa betsuni iru. Motto kyoryokuna, etaino shire-nai oniga dokokani hisonde-iru.”
Kyojuro “That might very well be true. Either way, there’s a different demon on the Mugen Train. A demon who’s far more powerful and mysterious is lurking somewhere.”
Kisatsu-Taishi-Ē “Dewa asu, Mugen-Resshani…”
Demon Slayer A “Tomorrow, to the Mugen Train, then.”

Reporting from a cat soba shop
A soba restaurant for cats run by cats. If you like cats, there is such a wonderful shop in the world of Ukiyo-e that you will want to visit at least once.
It is "Shinbanneko no Sobaya" drawn by the 4th Utagawa Kunimasa. Made in 1873. This time, we would like to introduce you to this shop.
On the signboard, the word "kisoba", which is familiar to soba restaurants in the human world, is printed. The characters written on the shoji are "Awami". Is it the name of the store? It probably comes from the abalone shell that was used as a cat's food bowl.
On the far right is a small kitten carried by her mother. I'm begging for "Mom wants to eat soba."
The male clerk who came out of the store seems to be leaving before delivery. "It's a busy night," he says. The lantern in my hand has the word "abalone" on it.
A tempura stall is right next to the entrance to the soba restaurant. Is it aimed at the customers of the soba shop? The customer ordered, "Fried ginpo." Gimpo is a fish like loach and is said to be the best ingredient for tempura.
Suddenly an accident occurred! The clerk turned the soba over and hung it on the customer's head and legs. The clerk apologizes for "this is so (coarse)", but the customer's cat says "very, very", but it feels a little carefree.
This is with parents and children. The mother tries to feed the child with "eat well", but the child seems to be full, saying "the boy I don't like anymore". At the left end is a note of "Beware of footwear". It's a shop where you can mistake the footwear you took off.
This is a male guest. The top man seems to be calling out to the clerk, "Let's get a replacement." Behind it is a tea box with the words "Abalone Tea" written on it. By the way, it is not good to feed cats abalone, as there is a saying that cats lose their ears when they eat abalone.
Here are the soba craftsmen who make soba. A soba craftsman who stretches soba using a rolling pin. The cat on the left stands with his arms crossed. Are you stepping on buckwheat flour? However, if you have udon, you can step on it with your feet, but with buckwheat flour, it seems that you rarely step on it now. This cat doesn't look like he's stepping on too much. However, I say "busy", so I should be working. As expected ...
This is making soba soup stock.
This is where the soba is boiled. The maid is preparing a bowl.
By the way, there is only one mysterious cat in this picture. Did you notice? There are real cats that don't have a human body. A real cat in the world of cats. What kind of existence is it?
So far, I have reported on the cat soba restaurant.

#RichJapan - Day 7
And on the 7th day. . . I didn’t rest. Day 7 marked the halfway point of my 14 day Japanese adventure. It was pure magic - that’s the only way I can describe it. So far, this day was the peak (at least that’s what I thought).
Disclaimer: This journal entry will be very long and very intense.
Observations: - Late June is normally the rainy season in Japan which keeps many tourists away. This is why I encountered significantly less tourists than normal. It was perfect weather during my trip to Kyoto - low 70s, low humidity, cirrus clouds as patchwork in the sky. - I’m starting to see subtle differences between Chinese and Japanese. During this trip I spotted Chinese tourists. I noticed how Chinese have different mannerisms, body language, and dress. This is not a sweeping generalization, just an observation from a small sample size. - Japanese are so patient. Visited a garden that took 30 years to complete from start to finish.
Memorable moments: - Picked a ripe apricot from an apricot tree while walking the streets of Kyoto. That’s a first. - On the way up the mountain to visit the Monkey Park at Arashiyama there was a small park with a see-saw, slide, and a swing. It’s been ages since I rode in a swing so decided to partake. It’s hard for me to describe the euphoria I felt on that swing. For a moment, I thought “This is what freedom feels like.” - Interacting with the monkeys at Iwatayama Monkey Park brought out a level of joy that hasn’t been unlocked since I was a kid. There were at least two dozen Japanese macaque monkeys roaming freely with humans. No barbed wires or barriers between humans and the monkeys. At one point you could feed them through a special fenced-off section, but never allowed to touch. The park rangers caution to stay at least 6 feet from the monkeys and not to make direct eye contact. Obviously, I broke all the rules. While other tourists kept their distance, I wanted to push the boundaries and test my power, presence, and warmth with humans’ distant cousins. I kneeled, got on all fours, sat, and laid down next to them during my one hour visit. It was such an endorphin rush! Thanks Cari for the recommendation!! - My meal at Nicolas. Holy Oishii!! (”oishii” means “tastes good” in Japanese). I umami’ed my face off! It’s like The Weeknd wrote “I Can’t Feel My Face” while eating at Nicolas. Without a doubt Top 5 meals of all time. You can tell alot about the quality of the food you’re about to eat by tasting the tea a restaurant serves. Nicolas tea is so earthly and savory - pure umami. It’s a prefixed soba meal that includes appetizer, soba, pickled vegetables, and soup. I also ordered two glasses of different kinds of Junmai Ginjo. It’s VERRRY hard to find a Japanese restaurant where every flavor of every dish blends together. That’s umami. That’s Nicolas. Joshua - you’re the MAN for insisting I visit this place! - I ended my evening at a sake bar across town based on a recommendation from the hostess at the hostel. I got a little lost on my way there and didn’t end up arriving until 30 minutes before they closed. I walked in and the bar was empty besides the bartender. During our conversations, I learned he immigrated from Israel to Kyoto over 30 years ago without any expectations and now runs the sake bar. I told him I normally drink mezcal so he poured me a complimentary-tasting sake. As he poured, he warned me saying, “This will be a very potent taste.” He watched me sip it. To me, the taste wasn’t so potent. He then says in a calm whisper, “You’re not tasting it correctly.” He teaches me to sip a large portion of sake at the tip of the tongue and then leave it there for a few seconds. Then let the sake wash to the back of the tongue until you swallow. I sip the same sake again heeding his words. The sake tasted completely different and yes - very potent. I then tell him about my magical day in Kyoto particularly my experience at the Rock Garden. I finish my first glass and ask for a different sake. He asks, “What do you see?”. I pause for a few seconds and think. “I see green. . .like bamboo leaves.” He then pulls out a 1.5L green bottle of sake. He pours and I taste it using my newly learned technique. It is without a doubt the best sake I’ve ever tasted in my life. He explains that this particular sake is made from Koshikari rice from Nigata and not the usual rice sake. I take a picture of the bottle, but he warns that I’ll likely never be able to find it anywhere outside of Kyoto.
Learnings: - Much of life is searching for “IT”. Not sure how exactly to describe IT, but it’s a combination of happiness, freedom, and success. Everyone may have a different definition of their IT. After reaching the top of Arashiyama mountain to play with the monkeys, I rode my bike parallel to a river in Kyoto with the forest in the background. I breath in the crisp air and enjoy the warmth of the sun. While riding, felt like I got really reaaallly close to finding IT. - Based on a recommendation from Charlie, I found my way to Ryoan Ji Temple after a 40 minute walk from the subway station. Upon arriving, I take off my shoes and walk to the Rock Garden. At first glance I was disappointed and thought “Did I really just walk almost 2 miles for this??”. I sat down at the center of the veranda overlooking the Rock Garden and pulled up the Wikipedia page of the Rock Garden on my phone. It all made sense after reading the origin of the Rock Garden. Life is about creating meaning. The Rock Garden symbolizes creating meaning to something without meaning. I sat there for at least an hour deep in thought and meditation. At one point I practiced the yoga pose of shavasana. It’s really hard to describe the epiphanies I had while trying to see the 15th stone. Happy to expound IRL with anyone. - Always rent a bike whenever you get the chance. It’s the most efficient way to get around in cities outside Tokyo. - I forgot to bring sunscreen on my trek to Arashiyama. All I had was 15 SPF lip balm in my pocket. I rolled up the lip balm then rubbed a quarter sized portion on my palm. Then I rubbed it all over my face and neck. Surprisingly it worked. No sun burn after 4 hours in the sun.
Places Visited: - Stayed at K'S House Kyoto Hostel. It was ranked #1 hostel in all of Asia. A bit stale and not as authentic as Gojo Guest House, but highly recommended because it super clean and efficient. It reminded me of a college dorm. - Ryōan-ji Temple - Yoramu sake bar - Arashiyama Bamboo Forest - Iwatayama Monkey Park - Sobaya Nicolas 蕎麦屋 にこら

I used to translate RabbitChats that were never completed, the last one of which is Part 3 of Tenn [LalaLDX Part 1]. If anyone would like to help get it translated, you may either send me a Google Drive/Dropbox/etc. link of screenshots of Part 3, or send screenshots of all parts to @rabbit-library

Up to 5 serial codes for applying to the i7 orchestra were given out in the app. Unlike charamide printing codes, giving away your codes or using someone else’s codes has drawbacks one should keep in mind. On the application for concert tickets, the codes must all be associated with the same game account. At the venue, they may ask to you to open the app to confirm that it’s the account associated with your ticket. Play it safe and try to avoid potentially losing money and being denied entry to the concert.

I sort of don’t want to write news update posts, especially since a lot of them are happening simultaneously and they won’t look organized unless I separate them into several posts. As a compromise, I’ll summarize some here with no photos and limited formatting.
1. A rerun audition of SSR [ShuffleTalk2018] cards is being held from 8/12 (Mon) 17:00 - 8/19 (Mon) 16:59. They are also available for SP. The first 11-scout is discounted. These cards are featured in the next event, Shuffle Talk~ 3rd Anniversary!! ~, with a 5% event item up bonus.
There was a prior issue at the start of this audition. If you 11-scouted during the effected period, you got refunded Stella Stones. Everyone additionally received 10 Stella Stones.
2. A rerun of the Mission Event, Shuffle Talk~ 3rd Anniversary!! ~ will be held from 8/14 (Wed) 17:00 - 8/19 (Mon) 16:59. Note that this event is only 5 days, unlike the usual 7 day events. If you participated in the past version of this event, certain prizes will be replaced with new ones.
3. Gaku’s birthday audition is currently being held from 8/13 (Tue) - 8/17 (Sat) 20:59. It features the new cards, SSR [Twelve Hits!!] and UR [Wonderful Octave], while past years’ birthday cards are available for SP at the same time. His login bonus is currently being held from 8/12 (Mon) 4:00 - 8/17 (Sat) 7:59.
4. 4th Anniversary Countdown Special Login Bonus. Login everyday from 8/14 (Wed) 17:00 - 8/19 (Mon) 23:59 and get 6 x 2 Stella Stones. It resets daily at 4:00.

Regarding some questions I received from Anons: 1. I don't accept requests outside of my missing RabbitChat parts list, but perhaps you can try asking other blogs. 2. I did not translate that one. It was all translated by the same person, but you can read it [here].
