friend who's only experience with final fantasy was through kingdom hearts, ffxiv (the mmo) and watching me play through ffxvi through a discord stream, has now played all the way to zanarkand in ffx and it has utterly destroyed her. but i think the biggest takeaway she's gotten so far is that the "kingdom hearts bullshit" was always final fantasy bullshit. final fantasy is what STARTED the nonsense, kingdom hearts was just rated e for everyone.

honestly im so glad bioware nerfed the cousland origin by not making them as socially & politically powerful as they technically ought to be. bc i think if i had to confront the whole cousland/mac tir situation in canon as opposed to just my own unsalvageable deep fried thoughts i think i would contract some sort of brain eating bacterial infection and die :/

thinkin about Looks to the Moon again again and going insane over the possibilities of merch of them (would spend so much money on that). so I made little proof-of-concept sticker drawings

the fun problem comes with the fact that every time they show a different image of her she's different colors. I don't know what the official one is supposed to be so I decided to eyedrop from all of the pictures I have seen. (From left to right: the overseer image projection in playing, the hibernation art of the overseer projecting their image, encountering them in-game, and the hibernation art you get after meeting her)

also she's only depicted with robes in the first two of those instances so for the other two I stole the colors from Five Pebbles's in-game sprite and hibernation art robes. he doesn't deserve them anyway

Like i KNOW i shouldn’t put that plate in the microwave for several minutes to steam potatoes…. But I have a “well I’ve put it in for shorter times and nothing bad happens so this will be okay i guess” and then i. Do the thing. The thing I just told myself I shouldn’t.

And I know I shouldn’t put this sweater in the dryer because it will matt and shrink— but the smell of it triggered me back to being in my mom’s old car.. one in which me n my siblings were technically kidnapped by our babysitter. My desperation to get riiiiid of that smell made me fucking STUPID and now the sweater is tiny and probably destroyed and I feel like the biggest asshole alive… cause I just couldnmt stand a fucking smell!! I ruined a fuckijg handmade gift that was worked on for mONTHS all be cause. Of a stink.
