❀ WE LISTEN AND WE DON'T JUDGE — LN4
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lando Norris x Reader / est. relationship / library
Syn. Doing the TikTok challenge with your boyfriend. We listen and we don’t judge . . . except we do ;)
Tumblr media
So Lando and I decided to hop on the TikTok trend, filming ourselves all cosy in bed — him in a hoodie, arm around me, and me holding the phone while trying not to crack up.
I hit play and turn to look at Lando. He was examining me while biting down on his laugh a devilish glint in his eyes.
“We listen and we don’t judge.” We say in unison.
“Okay I’ll go first,” I began.
“I once tried on your race suit when you weren’t home.”
“Wait what?” he huffed. “WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL ME?” He hollered, half laughing. He was mad but the dusky pink in his cheeks gave it away.
I held on to his shoulder while trying not to choke on my breath with the way I was giggling at his comical expression.
“Did it fit though?” He asked giggling at the thought of it. “No Lan, your arms are too big,” I replied. I cupped his jaw unable to keep myself from chuckling. “Uh huh, fair.”
“Okay my turn,” Lando said.
“We listen and we don’t judge.”
“I keep screenshots of your texts when you say nice things about me.”
I was rendered speechless. My jaw hung open, warmth gushing to my cheeks with the biggest smile on my face. Lando was already out of frame as he hid his head, quivering down in my lap holding my knees for dear life. His neck was entirely a shade of red.
“Lando…”
“No shut up, don’t make a big deal.”
“But baby that’s so CUTE!” I called out now rubbing the back of his neck. “That’s so sweet. I love you.”
“I love you too.” He murmured now sitting up. “Okay okay next question!”
“We listen and we don’t judge.”
“I keep one of your hoodies in my cars when I miss you during race weeks.”
Now it was Lando’s turn to be speechless. He was thawing into a puddle. Immediately switches to a soft tone.
You do?” eyes crinkling into crescents at the idea of me nuzzling into his hoodie during his absence.
Instantly bombards me with a hug mumbling I love you into my neck — now both of us entirely out of frame.
After prying him off, now Lando entirely clinging to me and a love-struck smile on his face, we proceeded with the challenge.
“I once fake slept so you’d keep playing with my hair.”
He said spinning to me with a proud smile. I huffed at his confession although it made my heart skip a thousand beats.
“YOU LIAR!”
“What?? You were doing it so nicely. Scratching my scalp and shit.”
“So you mean I was sitting there for 20 min—”
“Yes and it felt great.”
I heave a pillow toward him which he successfully swerves with goofy grins on our faces.
“Okay last one,” I said. “We listen and we don’t judge.”
I hang back a bit, shyness overshadowing my demeanour. I clear my throat and barely veer away from Lando.
“Um, I kinda love when you’re all sweaty after a race. It’s disgusting, but it’s also unfairly attractive.”
My voice came out quieter than I aimed at as I looked at Lando. His mouth was barely open as he poked his tongue into his cheek. A cunning snicker appeared on his face.
“Uh-huh,” he plodded closer. “You’re down bad.”
I rolled my eyes at his teasing. Pressing him back by his chest. His body was warm under my fingers.
“Whatever, your turn”
“Alright then, we listen and we don’t judge.”
His demeanour switched to a more assured one this time around. He leaned nearer to me practically only whispering to me.
“I purposely wear gray sweatpants around you because I know you stare.”
My breath clamped in my throat under the gaze he ensnared me in. Before I could say anything he went on.
“I like it when you wake me up like THAT in the morning.”
“Lando STOP,” I whimper into my palms blanketing my face.
“Yeah? Then why are you hiding?” He picked on me. I could hear him sneering at this point.
“I’d give up a podium just to see you smile when you need it.” He declared ultimately.
My groans were hushed as I peeked at him from before my fingers. “You can’t say that.”
He simply chortled and whispered, “Come here, love.” Arms lurking around my waist as the video cut off.

I recently met a girl on Bumble, and I'm mad as hell about it because she lives less than half a mile away from me.
(Which I'm aware is like the opposite of a problem. RIP literally every other lesbian dealing with long distance. It is a privilege for me to be able to take a leisurely stroll to my gf's place [and there's a grocery store at the half way point of the walk so I can stop in and buy her flowers and snacks] and be there in no more than 15 minutes)
Anyway, I'm mad about it because I also loudly decry the effects dating apps have on human courting rituals. The comodification of intimacy to the degree of when people think of meeting someone now a days we don't think of going out to a bar, or dancing, or complimenting an interesting stranger in public. In most cases, we've actually begun to shun these things! The evolution of this in my mind began with the statement of "Women don't want to be approached in public." And for the most part, that holds true. We don't want to be bothered at work, where we have to be nice to you or risk getting fired. Or when we're out doing errands, grocery shopping, laundrymatt, whatever she's just trying to get some stuff done, leave her alone. Or at the gym, where the mindset is not really aligned with that activity. Or at the bar, we came together we leave together and keep an eye out someone might try to put something in your drink.
OK, wait, but back-up, I thought it was acceptable to approach women in social situations?
Well, it was, but doesn't that sound scary? You don't know that person that just came up to you and asked for your number. What if they're a serial killer, unlikely but wouldn't you rather have the opportunity to look into that first? Check their references so to speak.
I mean sure that sounds like a good thing, but how is this safer? I'm essentially doing what my parents told me not to my entire childhood, and meeting up with strangers from the internet.
Sure sure, sure, but this is different! We're providing a safe space where everyone is up front about who they are and their intentions! You can find exactly what you're looking for with all our magical filters (some might cost you a bit, but don't think about that yet). And then here's the kicker you can talk to them before you meet up in our messaging function, take an appropriate amount of time to learn everything you can and decide if this person is trustworthy enough to meet in person. That sounds nice doesn't it?
I guess I do like the idea of having a designated space where I know it's acceptable to approach an individual! And I mean how hard can it be to navigate one app?
Oh sorry I forgot to mention this part. It's not just one app there are like half a dozen major players that everyone kinda cycles through so you'll have to have all of them to play the field and increase the odds of you finding your one. And also because of the nature of us now giving you a haystack of options when you're looking for a needle you'll have to weed out like a dozen people at a time reality TV harem dating show style, while they do the same to you.
That doesn't exactly sound like a better system... But it clearly is, because of this system I met someone, didn't I? Well yes, but she lives half a mile away in the same neighborhood. We shop at the same grocery store, go to the same bars, have similar interests in general, and are both reasonably visibly distinct from a crowd (she's got bright pink hair, I'm a 6'1" femme who can't dress casual to save her life)
And we've both lived in this area for months without even noticing each other even though we're exactly each other's type. I don't know if any of that really made sense, but I think the point is that the dating apps are only fixing barriers to connection that they created. They are only solving problems they created, and we're paying them for it.
tumblr please stop showing me dating apps ads. i'll meet girls the old way; never

Ex-boyfriend Simon, part 24549
You clipped your earrings in, watching Simon’s reflection in the mirror behind you, as he was pacing like a man barely holding himself together. His shoulders were tight, hands flexing at his sides, and his jaw clenched so hard you thought his teeth might crack.
“You didn’t even wait,” he gritted out, his voice harsh.
You grabbed your lipstick, uncapping it slowly. “Not sure what you mean.”
You can feel his eyes burning into the back of your head. “Soap saw you. With some guy.”
You swiped the color across your lips slowly, then pressed them together. Good.
“And?” you murmured, turning slightly, just enough to catch the storm brewing in his expression.
Simon’s breath hitched, his fists tightening. “And I’ll kill him.”
You arched a brow, amused. “That’s dramatic, even for you.”
His nostrils flared, a muscle ticking in his jaw. He looked seconds away from grabbing you, from shaking some sense into you.
“You don’t get to be mad,” you said, stepping past him toward your dresser. “You broke up with me, remember?”
Silence. Of course he didn't know what to say after that.
Finally, he exhaled sharply. “I was a fucking idiot.”
You froze for half a second before shaking your head, forcing yourself to stay focused. Your perfume bottle was cool in your hands as you spritzed a little onto your wrists, pretending his words didn’t make your stomach flip.
“That’s nice, Simon,” you said evenly. “But I have plans tonight.”
His eyes snapped to you. “What plans?”
“A date.”
His entire body went rigid. His fingers twitched like they wanted to wrap around something—someone.
“What?” His voice was dangerously low now.
You smoothed your dress down, unbothered by his reaction. “You heard me.”
Simon took a slow step forward, then another, stopping just inches from you. His scent—leather and smoke—wrapped around you.
His voice was rough when he spoke. “You really think I’ll just let you go that easy?”
You tilted your head, smirking. “I think you already did.”
His jaw tightened, his chest rising and falling like he was barely keeping himself together.
Then—
A sharp knock came from your front door.
Your heart pounded, but you kept your face neutral. You moved toward the door, but Simon was quicker, yanking it open like a man on a mission, shoulders squared, body wound tight like he was ready to swing—
And then he froze.
Your best friend blinked up at him, startled. “Uh. Hi?”
Simon was still. The rage drained from his face in a second, replaced by a confused one. His hands flexed uselessly at his sides.
You walked past him, kissing his cheek before you grabbed your friend’s arm. “Bye, Simon.”
He was still standing there, stunned, when the door shut in his face.
Later that night, your phone buzzed.
🧼: Well??
YOU: He nearly had a stroke.
🧼: Perfect. You owe me a drink.
YOU: Deal.

i went undiagnosed with stomach ulcers until I was 30 years old despite throwing up almost every day since I was a toddler because my parents just assumed I was faking it to get out of school.
I went undiagnosed with celiacs until I was 38 years old despite constant pain and as a toddler I couldn't stop shitting myself. My parents thought I was just doing it to punish them. I eventually learned to deal with the pain but humiliation was harder.
Eventually I just grew to accept these things as normal. I was always in pain. I'd go to my doctor sometimes about the vomiting (occasionally partners would mention that that's not normal) and the doctor would tell me just to eat more Tums. I was watching 5+ Tums a day at that point.
It wasn't until my ulcer burst and I had to be rushed to the hospital vomiting blood that they took me seriously. That was at 30. I just turned 39 today and I'm still trying to figure out what the hell is wrong. It could be fibromyalgia, I got my doctor to check my hormone levels and my testosterone was super low so that could be it also.
I'm on the right path now but 30 years of people telling me I'm making it up or "wait until you're my age" and yeah, maybe if everyone didn't ignore all my complaints and symptoms until it was too late I wouldn't been feeling even worse at 39 (basically immobile with pain too many days of the month)
As someone with an undiagnosed disability (99% sure its fibromyalgia) that I've had since I was a little kid, I've never understood why adults feel the need to enter the Pain Olympics whenever a kid says they're in pain.
I cannot tell you how many times an adult told me over the years that "you're too young to be in that kind of pain" or the classic "wait until you're my age", insinuating that I was a little bitch who could never grasp what true pain really is.
Just yesterday I was in class and a guy near me mentioned that his back hurt, which our teacher heard and said "you're too young, just wait until your 50s, then it'll really hurt", and I hear this guy very quietly say that he has scoliosis.
It's so annoying. Why do you need to win the Pain Olympics? Why do you need to prove to a child that your life is harder than theirs? This is the reason I didn't know I had chronic pain until I was 16

Tendou clocked your little outfit the second you walked into his study group's reserved room.
As the TA for this course, he tried to keep himself far away from you, just to clear his mind before trying to help. The library was now 40 minutes away from closing, and the handful of students that showed up were nearly all gone.
Helping the last poor soul with practice questions was not quite enough- he found himself praying you would stay another ten minutes for him to try and flirt, just a little.
He wanted to ask what was the deal with such an eye-catching get-up, but he wasn't sure what the best approach was. So, like usual, he just went with whatever felt right.
"Hey!" He was loud, friendly, and accidentally succeeded in startling you from behind.
You turned in your chosen beanbag to give him an unsure look. You didn't say hello back.
There was something different about this guy. You had your guesses at to what exactly ailed him, but they would remain background noise for the time being. Phone clutched to your chest, you collected yourself again in the aftermath of such a fright.
"Did I scare ya?"
He didn't wait for you to respond through your tiny chuckle. He was on a roll, and needed to open this up.
"Whaaat? No homework?" Tendo pushed his weight forward, limp over your beanbag, right beside you, "Don't tell me you're already done?"
Tendou was absurdly quick. Conversations, usually more confined to a specific, academic topic, usually left you spiraling from his fast and unfocused mind. Most of the time, you felt like a passenger in your own talks, but he was waiting for you now.
You hadn't realized how much time had passed, engrossed in a post on your phone for minutes, now. Everybody was almost gone.
"Um- yeah, I am."
There was so much going on behind the squint he gave you. It made you feel all hot and cold at the same time.
He muttered, looking around the rest of the room, "Smart and pretty, cool- that's cool."
Your mouth hung open a little, a blush creeping over your face, but he was onto the next thing. As if he didn't just call you pretty.
"So-ooo do you usually dress up outside of class?"
It was never one question. In this case it led to lots of elaboration, back-to-back.
"Because I totally did not get the memo, if we were supposed to wear something nice. I mean, bro over there is wearing a piano shirt, suit jacket and jeans. I'm-," He paused a moment to snicker at him, "-A little confused. So--,"
His eyes nearly gave him away. They faltered, slipping down to the sliver of skin showing at the top of your thigh-highs, just before the hem of your skirt ended.
"Do you- usually wear this?"
In a natural response, your eyes were following his, and you automatically pulled down on your skirt to cover yourself.
Your voice was quieter, slower, than his by many measures, "I wouldn't call this 'dressing up,' but, um, it is my style."
He had to mask his frustration -the Hellish screaming from inside- with a bigger, sillier thing.
"You got somewhere to be after this?"
Again, more questions. You couldn't help but laugh at the way he asked them so quick, flighty, like he was maybe asking you about course material.
"Like, a date, or something? Going to- I dunno- see your boyfriend? Something like that?"
Now you understood. He was no-doubt flirting. You set your phone on the floor, an inquisitive smile at your lips.
"I don't have a boyfriend," You looked him up and down slowly, watching how he adjusted, plenty aware of it, "Why do you need to know so bad?"
For the first time ever, he was searching for what to say. You grinned.
"Y'know," You shifted, twisted, to look at him straight on, "If you kissed me, I might kiss you back."
Your teeth clinked together in his haste. It was silly, an endearing accident, that made you smile against him.
His lips were soft, and warm, but he kissed you like you were made of chocolate. Something sweet, something to be devoured. There was no room to doubt his intentions because he was so passionate from the start.
A big, strong hand laced through your roots and guided you to get a better kiss from this angle.
It had been a while since your last fling. Tendou could fill the empty space in your heart, between your legs, for enough time to forget how lonely you were. Longevity wasn't something you were after. He was into you and that would do.
"Mm-h," You parted to tell him to come sit next to you, instead.
Tendou wiped the string of spit from his mouth, flushed, but never backed down. His confidence, especially in the face of being such a weirdo, was a turn-on.
"Ya think this is big enough for me~? Let's seeee,"
You watched, amused, at how he slinked into the space next to you and completely filled it up.
"You're... pretty tall," You confessed, shaky. Your hand shot out to touch him, invested in his size, all of a sudden. Hesitation, at the last second, kept you from following through.
"Mhmmm, you know it. 6'2, if you're curious."
Encouraging, he completed your desire to feel him by placing your hand on his shoulder. He did all the hard work so easily.
You were human. You had your preconceived biases. You thought weird, nerdy guys were supposed to be frail and skinny.
Tendou's shoulder was instead strong, and filled out. His shirt was a thin blend of polyester and cotton that was strained at the bicep and not so much at the waist. His legs stretched out much further than yours. All these titillating realizations kept cascading in big waves of shock. It kept you in a state of stillness that directly contrasted his excited wiggling around to get comfortable.
"You okayy?" He laughed, his proximity a safe, but new change. His words buzzed against your cheek between kisses, "You really like tall guys, or somethin'?"
He did usually wear hoodies, in your cold classroom. The way he slouched in it made him look closer to 5'9". It was warm in here so he had set it on the back of a chair a while ago.
You kissed him, falling against his warm chest in an attempt to shut him up.
Though he loved being chatty, he knew when it was a good time to let other things get the point across.
"Mmh-,"
He returned your passion tenfold. Forearm behind your upper back, a hand wrapped all around the back of your neck, he crushed you back down under him.
God, he was good with his tongue.
It didn't take very long to realize you both wanted each other, bad.
You liked what you were finding out about him, the further he went with you- he knew he liked you from the start of the semester, and now got to express his gratefulness for the chance.
"You should wear these more," His dirty, breathy voice matched the rough way he pulled your thigh-highs down.
Tendou was completely lost in the way your thighs squeezed together, how your stockings were just a little too small, your skirt arguably too short for your ass. No wonder you chose a seat like this, far away from the other students.
What he wanted was for you to sit on his face. But even he knew that idea was too much, so he settled for squeezing at your flesh, adjusting to be more over you.
You gave a closed-mouth moan of surprise at the feeling of a stiff cock under his jeans, rubbing on your leg.
The way he had you all spread and squished again for him, a little tight on space, very last-minute and surprised, was exactly how he wanted you. He grinned. Thanks to his features, that made him look intimidating.
"I've got a- a thing, for these," He explained, clearing the air a little, "Now that I think about it, if you wore this to class, I probably wouldn't be able to focus."
Just the idea of keeping him distracted like that filled you with a hot, focused, urgency. You pulled him in, legs parted, for a raunchier kiss.
He groaned against your mouth, biting your lip, and pressed an eager palm against your pussy.
"Ahh-mm-!" Your whine was getting cut short by another carnivorous suck to your lip.
He got you so wet, so malleable, so quickly.
"Fuck," His hips were grinding on your thigh, apparently enough stimulation for him- it made you feel proud, that you could get him feeling so good without much work.
His digits slid under your soaked panties. You gasped against his mouth, fingers filling with the neck of his t-shirt.
"Mmm, fuck that feels so-o good," His confession devolved into more of a growl.
His fingers were using all the wet there to better slide against your clit, a filthy, smooth sensation that kept you writhing.
"Ohh--oh my go-d," You mewled, eyes scrunched shut at how much you needed it. He swallowed up your sounds with hasty, hard kisses.
His groin kept pressed, rolling, against the back of your thigh.
It felt hot, and big from what you could tell, but you were still left to speculate what he was hiding under those jeans.
Never in a million years would you have guessed that he possessed knowledge on how to touch a woman. In any sense, not just explicitly. He was everyone's favorite, goofy TA. Not some womanizer.
Your fingers raked through his messy hair, taking in the feeling of his tongue against yours, all while trying to keep your noise down.
When he began to part, you didn't fight it, because you needed to breathe. But he stopped moving his fingers, and it left you shaky, needy. You rolled your hips and pressed your leg harder onto his hard-on.
"We sh-ould- we should stop," Tendou sighed, clearing his throat.
He was glancing around the empty study room, head on a swivel. He didn't look particularly upset, nor like he had actually heard something. You sure didn't. What the hell was his problem?
You were grabbing at him, groaning, "What?"
Another little kiss to your forehead, and the hottest, most rabid look any guy had ever given you before made you pause.
"I just- uh, I just have--," He was distracted again, squinting around, "A bad... feeling."
"I made you feel bad?" You sounded more whiny, than anything. You would have thought it embarrassing, but your cunt was throbbing with the need for more, and that took priority.
He chuckled, prying his own fingers from between your legs with marked displeasure.
"Noo, no, you make me feel like I wanna tear our clothes off." He thought for a second, sucking the wet from his index and middle finger, "Then run naked into the woods and never come back. Live like our ancestors. Have like, 16 kids."
There was no time to unpack that.
Just as you had fixed your stockings back, and he rolled off of the beanbag to stand -shifting his cock to a less obvious position in his jeans-, the door opened fast with no knock.
"Heyyy!"
Your wide eyes went straight to Tendou, but he didn't look at you. How did he know?
"Hey!" He greeted piano-shirt guy with typical ease.
The unwelcome guest, somebody you vaguely recognized from your class, explained themselves, glancing about the room, "I left my phone here! Have you guys seen it?"
Your voice cracked to say 'No,' and you vowed to remain silent for the remainder of your fake search for this idiot's phone.
Tendou found it in one of the swivel chairs. Part of you couldn't help but feel like he had some magical powers. Once the guy left, you were left mourning all that perfect proximity, all the dizzying desire you had built so quickly.
"Sooo angry," He cooed.
As he invited you for a hug, it was clear that he found your frustration the most adorable thing in the world.
You tolerated it because he held you. More specifically, he held you and palmed your ass from under your skirt. Your arms were stretched, linked behind his shoulders, as you stole more of his perfect kisses. You pushed him to sit on the table so you could stand between his parted legs.
He kept laughing, giggling at least, and messing your kisses up.
"Mh- what? What is it?"
Tendou snickered, "Didn't know you were such a little freak--,"
"Freak?"
"Ohh-kay, okay, not freak- umm," He giggled at the offense you took, cupping your face in his oversized hands, "Sorry. I really like you. I wanna do this more."
You hadn't caught on quite yet, so you leaned in to kiss him again, but only got his cheek. He grinned at your disappointment.
"Nooot here, though."
He was still squinting around, "I dunno, I still don't feel right."
After such a strong demonstration of predictive ability, you couldn't not trust his warning. You glanced around, too.
"Some other time?"

Tumblr media
💸 content warning: smut/angst (in later chapters; this one's mostly just suggestive), mentions of hard drugs and guns, enemies to lovers, slow burn
💸 summary: you and chris spend the night hanging out on his roof after your first day of making sales together.
there will be several parts to this story, and they will contain sex, drugs, violence, use of weapons, and a lot of things that could be triggering if you've ever been apart of the drug world or loved someone with an addiction. i don't mean to glorify drug use, selling, or anything like that, but i wanted this story to be realistic, so it does appear like a somewhat "glamorous" lifestyle to chris and the reader in the first few parts. i want to make it very clear that when you get involved in the drug world in real life, you usually end up in one of two places: the ground or prison.

The sun sank slowly below the skyline, and the evening turned to nightfall as you and Chris finished up your last deal of the day. You'd been showing him all the stops, introducing him to your customers, and teaching him the way you did everything.
He got into your passenger seat and sighed as his head fell against the headrest, really wishing he had a joint right about now. "Damn, ma. I can't believe how much money we made today," Chris mumbled, slouching down into his seat. He reached into his pocket, pulling out the wad of cash he'd made for the day.
"I know, and we're only a third of the way through the product," you smiled back, doing the math in your head about the potential profit. "I could never work a 9 to 5," Chris sighed, sifting through the $100 bills. "Can't believe I just made in a day what it would take some sucker to make in two weeks at some office job."
You fastened your seatbelt and turned the key in the ignition, admiring Chris, who brought his fingers to his lips and slowly licked them as he separated the crisp hundreds. "What are you thinking about, ma? My tongue or my fingers?" Chris flirted, catching you staring out of the corner of his eye and giving you a seductive smirk as he ran his tongue along the pads of his fingers again, flitting through his money.
You squeezed your thighs together as you bit down on your lip. For a moment, you were thinking about both at the same time. You hated the effect he had on you, the way he knew how to get inside your head, intrude on your thoughts, and invade your sexual fantasies. "You're fucking gross, Chris," you replied, rolling your eyes and trying to hide how turned on you were.
He responded with a chuckle, knowing that he was getting to you even if you wanted to deny it. "So, am I dropping you off at your girlfriend's house?" You asked, reminding him that he had one. "Nah, can you drop me off at my place? I'm staying home tonight," Chris requested. "I can do that. Just tell me where to go," you replied, your eyes darting around between the road in front of you, your side mirrors, and your rearview.
"So, have you told Daisy yet?" You asked, your gaze flickering over at Chris, who was shaking his head. "I'll tell her, ma, when I'm ready," Chris grumbled. He knew you were right. He knew he had some things to work out, like telling his girlfriend the real way he made his money or dealing with the fact that he was finding himself sexually attracted to his new business partner. He stole another glance at you from your passenger seat as the fantasy he'd had the night before flashed through his mind, praying you wouldn't notice the tent forming in his jeans.
When you pulled into Chris' driveway, he thanked you again for the ride. "I can't believe I've been sober for eight hours," Chris mentioned, bouncing his leg as you parked. "No wonder you've been so uptight today," you teased him. "Maybe you should come smoke with me since you're always uptight," Chris smirked, nudging you in the arm with his elbow, but his offer was genuine.
You gave him an annoyed look, but you couldn't hold back the smile that spread across your lips. "I don't smoke weed, Chris. I haven't since I was a teenager," you replied, fidgeting with the material of your black steering wheel cover. "Why not?" Chris wondered, surprised by your admission. "I like being clear-headed. I don't like feeling out of control," you shrugged.
"We're on a floating rock in space, ma. The idea that you have control over anything is an illusion," Chris laughed, reaching for his door handle. "C'mon. Come inside. Do you drink? I've got a beer with your name on it if you wanna hang out with me for a little."
You were quiet for a second. It wasn't often that people invited you to hang out or just do something fun with them, and for a moment, you thought maybe you could use it. "I could stay for one beer," you responded hesitantly, nervously rubbing the back of your neck. "That's what I'm talking about, ma. Let your hair down once in a while," Chris replied, beaming with a smile.
You trailed behind him, staring down at your shoes as you followed the pattern of the stepping stones that led to his front door. "Oh, shit. I forgot my house key at Daisy's place," he sighed, running his finger through his hair. You rolled your eyes and crossed your arms over your chest. "Do you need me to take you to Daisy's place after all?" You huffed, slightly annoyed at the situation.
"Nah, it wouldn't do any good anyways. She's at work. Plus, this won't take long," Chris said, pulling a pin out of his pocket and fiddling with the lock. You nervously looked around, worried someone was going to see him picking his lock and call the cops or something, but in a matter of seconds, you heard a click, and you watched as he turned the knob. His door creaked open, and he glanced back at you with a mischevious smile.
"Okay, now you're just showing off," you replied, raising an eyebrow. "What can I say, ma? I'm good with my hands. Gotta show you my skillset somehow," Chris playfully winked at you. You scoffed, biting back a smile. A part of you liked the way he couldn't keep himself from making sexual innuendos and flirting with you.
"If you need me to pick a lock on a deal, though, you're splitting the money 50/50 with me," Chris told you, stepping into his living room. "What kind of shady shit do you think I'm up to, Chris? I'm just selling coke. Not robbing people," you joked, following him in. "You never know," Chris peeked back at you over his shoulder with a smirk on his face.
"This is it," he announced, raising his arms to present his place to you. It was a dimly-lit, relatively small place, but it had a safe, cozy vibe to it. "I like it," you told him, your eyes scanning them room. You noticed his sprouting marijuana plants in the corner sitting beneath his grow lights and an old shelf beside it that was littered with comic books and novels you'd never heard of.
His house faintly smelled of weed and sandalwood, like how Chris always smelled, and you found the familiar scent comforting as it wafted through the air. He directed you over towards his couch and motioned for you to sit. You sat down, awkwardly perching at the edge of the couch cushion.
"C'mon, ma. You can relax. Kick your feet up," he told you, heading over towards his fridge to give you that beer he promised you. You exhaled and slowly leaned back into his sofa that was much softer than you imagined it would be. Chris twisted the cap off the bottle and handed it to you. The red and white label that read Stella Artois stared back at you, and you hesitantly reached out and took it.
Chris plopped down on the couch beside you, and you watched as he sprinkled a bit of ground weed into his rolling paper. You peered down at his rings and his fingers at the way they skillfully handled the joint, tucking the paper in and folding it in on itself.
His gaze flickered up at you as his tongue darted out, and he licked a long, slow stripe across the edge of the joint. His lips curled into a suggestive smile as he noticed you watching him, but you acted unamused, pulling your eyes away from his. You held the bottle up to your lips, taking a small, refreshing sip, the bubbles fizzing against your tongue as you relaxed further into the comfy couch.
You peered down the hall to an open door at the end. The room was dark, but you imagined it was probably Chris' bedroom. You found yourself wondering what it looked like, how comfortable his bed was, and how hard it would be for you to keep your hands off of him if you ever found yourself alone with him in there.
"You coming?" Chris asked, pulling you out of your thoughts and standing to his feet as soon as you'd gotten comfortable. "Coming where?" You wondered, giving him a perplexed look. "To the roof. The view's great up there," Chris responded, making his way towards the back door.
You hesitantly followed him back out into the cool air of the backyard where he had a ladder propped up against the side of his house. "C'mon, ma. I'll hold your beer. You start climbing the ladder," Chris told you, extending his arm to take your bottle from you. "Yep. Just smoking and drinking on a roof. What could possibly go wrong?" You muttered under your breath as you wrapped your fingers around the cold, metal rungs.
"Don't worry, ma. I'll be right behind you, so if you fall, I'll catch you," Chris' breath tickled your neck as he pressed his warm body into yours. Your heart skipped a beat, and you felt your breath hitch in your throat. It was the closest you'd ever been to him. You were just glad you were faced away from him, so he couldn't see the unmistakable look of desire written in your expression as heat radiated off his skin.
You cleared your throat and regained your composure. "Is that your gun, or are you just happy to see me?" You snarked at him, peering over your shoulder in an attempt to take control of the situation again. Chris chuckled, but he didn't answer you, leaving it up for interpretation. You started to hesitantly climb the ladder, and Chris followed closely behind, keeping his promise to not let you fall as he held your beer in one hand and the unlit joint between his lips.
The two of you made it to the roof, and Chris handed you your beer once the two of you got settled. The star-filled sky hung overhead as you looked out at the horizon. You saw the tops of the other houses, the city lights scattered across the skyline, and the waves crashing on the beach shore off in the far distance. You brought your bottle of Stella Artois up to your lips and took another sip as you took in the view. There was something about this perspective that made your problems feel smaller and less pressing.
"Pretty cool, isn't it, ma?" Chris asked beside you as you heard the flick of his lighter sound as he held the flame up to the end of his joint. You quietly nodded, surprised by how much you could see from Chris' roof. "So, ma. What do you say we get to know each other better and play your favorite game, twenty questions?" Chris smiled over at you with the lit joint pinched between his two fingers.
You rolled your eyes, but you didn't have an excuse this time. There was no work to be done, and there was nowhere to go to avoid his questioning, so you took a deep breath and another swig of your drink. "Okay, fine. Hit me," you finally replied after a moment of hesitancy.
"Where do you go to clear your mind?" Chris wondered, his gaze locked on you. "The beach. I like the waves. The sounds of the seagulls. Feeling the sand between my toes. It's peaceful," you shrugged. Even though the question wasn't a very personal one, you felt vulnerable answering.
"What about you, Chris?" You wondered aloud. "You're looking at it," Chris said with his joint tucked between his lips. He didn't need to explain anything further. You could tell why this was the place he went to sort out his thoughts.
"Alright. What kind of music do you listen to?" You blurted out, not sure of what to ask him next. "Anything, really. But I prefer indie over everything else," he told you. "Okay, play me your favorite song," you told him, gesturing towards his phone he had sitting beside him. He picked it up, staring back at you as he thought about it for a moment. "Alright," he responded, scrolling through the saved albums on his phone until he came across AM by Arctic Monkeys. No. 1 Party Anthem started playing through the speaker of his phone, and you nodded in approval as the melody filled the space between you.
"If you could have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who would you choose?" Chris asked, turning off his phone screen and letting the song play softly in the background of your conversation. You thought about it for a moment. "See, I wanna say Pablo Escobar or something, but I think I'd want to have dinner with one of those druglords who flew under the radar so well that we don't even know their names," you replied. "Damn, ma. That's a good answer," Chris mumbled with the joint hanging from his lips.
He glanced up at you as if silently reminding you it was your turn to ask a question. "What did you think of me when you first met me?" You wondered aloud. You gave him a look like he should be careful about how answered this question. He cracked a smile, remembering the first time you'd approached him and threatened him for selling his weed on your block and trying to steal your customers. "I thought you were tough. Not the kind of woman you want to mess with. I also thought you were super hot," Chris admitted. You blushed, hoping Chris couldn't tell in the glow of the moon.
"What's one thing you don't leave the house without?" Chris asked you, pulling a long drag from his joint. "My keys," you sharply responded, subtly teasing him for having to break into his own place earlier. He let out a laugh. "And my gun," you told him. You sipped on your bubbly drink, noting that the song had changed.
Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High started to play as you glanced back over at the blue-eyed man beside you. "If you could change one thing about yourself, what would you change?" You asked, peeling the label off your beer bottle. "Nothing," Chris smirked over at you. "Nothing?" You reiterated, furrowing your brow. "Nothing," he repeated. "You're a little cocky, aren't you?" You shot back. "I prefer confident," Chris chuckled before he pulled from the joint again.
"What do you think the most important quality in a friend or partner is?" Chris asked after a few seconds of silence. "Honesty and loyalty," you said without hesitation, and Chris nodded in agreement. "You?" You asked. "Probably just someone who isn't going to bail when things get hard," Chris sincerely responded.
"What's your biggest fear?" You asked him, the questions getting deeper and deeper. "Losing the people I love," he answered, staring down at the build-up of ash on the cherry before flicking it off. "How about you, ma?" He returned the question. "Trusting the wrong person and getting hurt," you responded almost immediately. "I get that," Chris answered, his gaze still fixed on you.
"What's your guilty pleasure?" Chris asked you, his luscious lips curling into a smile as he awaited your response. "Probably those dumb reality shows," you admitted, your cheeks growing warm. "Really? Never took you for a girl who likes trash TV," Chris teasingly nudged your arm. "Daisy loves that shit, too."
"What's one of your guilty pleasures?" You asked Chris. He bit down on his lip as he looked you up and down. He knew what he wanted to say, but he knew it would be crossing the line of just playful flirting and venturing into uncharted territory, so he came up with something on the spot.
"Watching the trash TV with her. I'm always making fun of her for watching The Bacholorette and shit like that, but then I find myself watching it with her and getting all invested," Chris confessed.
"I totally get it. Like, I started watching it as a joke at first, and then you get to know the people. Then you start wanting them to end up together," you said, glancing up at him, and his eyes met yours. The song changed again, and you listened as the lyrics came through:
🎶 If you like your coffee hot, let me be your coffee pot. You call the shots, babe. I just wanna be yours. 🎶
The two of you stared at each other in a comfortable silence for a moment, Chris taking a puff of his weed as you took a swig of beer. "So, what does Daisy think you're out doing all day when you're working?" You wondered, raising an eyebrow at him. "As far as she knows, I work in sales, which isn't totally a lie. She just doesn't know about the drugs," Chris shrugged. "Yeah, she doesn't know about the most important detail," you scoffed, tapping on the glass of your bottle.
"Why are you always judging me for that, ma? I've got my reasons. Why are you so pressed about it?" He asked, sounding a bit defensive. "I had an ex who kept things from me, like how much money he owed certain people. He put me in a lot of dangerous situations. Don't want to watch you do the same shit to Daisy," you murmured, letting Chris in more than you had up until this point. "I didn't know, ma," Chris said, placing a reassuring hand on your shoulder and relaxing his jaw. "You know, I'd never intentionally hurt her. Or you."
"It doesn't matter, Chris. You can be the most well-intentioned person in the world and still hurt the people around you," you responded. He was quiet for a few minutes, mulling over what you said.
"Your ex? Alex?" Chris wondered, blowing out a cloud of smoke against the night sky as he recalled Joe using that name earlier. "Yeah. My dumb fuck ex. He got himself killed because he owed the wrong people money," you said in a dry tone. "Holy shit. Ma, I'm so sorry," Chris whispered. "Don't be. He deserved it," you muttered under your breath.
"Hey, I have a question. Why do you always call me ma?" You chimed in. "It's just a sign of respect. That's all," he shrugged. "Why? Does it bother you?"
"No. It's fine. I don't care what you call me. You gotta stop looking at me like that, though. Looking like you're gonna kiss me or some shit," you accused him, following his gaze that danced between your eyes and your lips as you took another drink of your beer. The song changed again.
🎶 How many secrets can you keep? 'Cause there's this tune I found that makes me think of you somehow, and I play it on repeat until I fall asleep. 🎶
"I'm not looking at you any type of way! Maybe you're projecting because you wanna kiss me," he shot back. The sexual tension between the two of you was thick, and for a moment, you each thought about it. The temptation was there, and it was strong. You wanted to pull him as close as you could, passionately press your lips against his, and tangle your fingers in his soft, brown hair, but you didn't want to ruin your business relationship with him.
Chris thought the same, wondering what it would be like to kiss you, but he didn't want to screw up what he had with Daisy, and he didn't want to give you the wrong impression. He diverted his eyes, glancing down at his joint that had burned down to the roach, and he put it out. "Get enough of the view, ma? I'm getting kind of tired," Chris chimed in as you admired his profile in the moonlight.
For a moment, you forgot he was talking about the scape of the city from the roof. "Oh, right. Yeah, of course. I should probably go," you said, fiddling with the empty bottle in your hand. "You can stay the night if you need to," Chris motioned towards the alcoholic beverage you'd finished off, but he knew he was playing with fire the moment the words left his mouth, inviting you to stay the night.
🎶 Do I wanna know if this feeling flows both ways? Sad to see you go, was sort of hoping that you'd stay. 🎶
The two of you exchanged a look like you both knew it wouldn't be a good idea. Even with you both sleeping in separate rooms, you each knew deep down that a closed door wouldn't be enough to deter you two from the temptation. "It's cool, Chris. It was just one beer. I'll just grab a glass of water, sit on your couch for twenty minutes, and I'll be fine to drive," you told him. Chris picked up his phone and paused the song. "I got you, ma. I'll help you down."
You felt elated once you were finally sitting back down on Chris' couch, sobering up. You weren't sure if it was a buzz from the alcohol, an adrenaline rush from being on the roof, or just the way you were starting to feel around Chris.
Chris gave you some crackers to help "absorb the alcohol," because he had "heard somewhere that it does," and even though you'd only had one beer, it was sweet that he cared enough. You also both just knew that you had to sober up, because staying the night wasn't an option unless you were both prepared to give into the force that was pulling the two of you together and end up doing something that could hurt Daisy or hurt your business relationship.
So you were munching away on Ritz crackers on Chris' couch after your single beer, and once you felt like the effects of the alcohol had worn off, you made a comment about how late it was getting and about how you should probably get going.
You left, following the same stepping stones you'd used when you walked up. When you approached your car, you reached into your empty pocket for your keys just to remember you'd left them on Chris' coffee table. "Shit," you whispered, realizing you were going to have to do a walk of shame back up to his front door after giving him shit for forgetting his keys earlier.
Chris had already started to get ready for bed, shedding his layers and slipping into a pair of flannel pajama pants when a soft knock sounded at his front door. He peeked through the peephole to make sure it was you, his heart racing and secretly wondering if you'd come back to kiss him or confess your feelings for him, his mind swirling with half a dozen possibilities.
He turned the doorknob, and when you saw him, your eyes were immediately drawn to the fact that he was shirtless. "Uh, sorry. I forgot my keys," you told him, unable to conceal your smile at the irony of the situation. "Oh, you mean, the keys you don't go anywhere without?" Chris asked, leaning against the door frame and indulging in the fact that you were doing nothing to hide the fact that you were checking him out.
"Yeah. Those ones," you smirked, biting down on your lip. "I'll go get 'em, ma," Chris chuckled at you as he turned to retrieve your keys. You found yourself holding your breath as your gaze danced over the definition of his back muscles in the soft lighting of his living room.
He handed them to you, and as you took them from him, his hand brushed against yours. You both exchanged a look that was heavy with the words unspoken between you, but you also both silently agreed it was for the best. "Okay, goodnight," you said, unconsciously batting your eyelashes at him. "Goodnight," Chris smirked, eyeing you up and down as you turned to walk away before closing his door again.
As soon as you made it to your car, you reflected on the way you acted and how stupid you must have sounded, silently kicking yourself. You didn't harp on it for long, though. Your embarrassment was quickly overshadowed by the intoxication and bliss you felt from being around such an attractive man who was beginning to make you smile more than he made you roll your eyes.

╰┈➤ ❝ [ My Reason ] ¡! ❞
Valentines day, the day Jinwoo dreads the most. Not because you're oh-so demanding— It's just a habit he never got to shake off even if you're both dating for years.
Just like your birthdays and anniversaries— He makes a big deal out of it.
This time he opted to make a jar of paper stars as his choice of handmade gifts.
"Pfft... Jinwoo, you're 24, why are you acting like you're still 17?" You laugh as he awkwardly stretches the jar of pastel blue and purple paper stars to you.
"Jagiya, don't make fun of me" He coughs, scratching the back of his neck after you accept the little gift he made solely for you.
"But you're too cute right now to not make fun of!" You grin a boxy smile, melting your boyfriend's heart in an instant that he couldn't stop himself from kissing the tip of your nose.
"Come on, let's go on a date" Jinwoo stretches his hand out to you— An offer you immediately accepted.
꒰ .... ꒱
There's only your footsteps in this empty park you both decided to spend the day. while normally it should be running with people— It seems that no one in particular wanted to spend the day outside. Not that you're both complaining since it's quieter for the both of you as well as no lines on the food trucks.
It's a win-win, right?
The day is only spent walking and chatting— To be exact Jinwoo was just babysitting you since you have an aeful record of getting yourself hurt whenever you're both in the park.
Yeah, you're an idiot.
His lovable idiot atleast.
"Hup!" You jump onto a tree stump and stretch out your hand with a single blue paper star he had made.
"Baby, what are you doing?" He snorts, keeping his hands in his pockets as he watched you prance about like a little child.
"I'm just wondering what a real night sky would look like" You explain, humming softly as you keep staring at the paper blue star with the empty night sky as it's backdrop. "If the lights in korea are all out and the air is clean, how many stars do you think we'll be able to see?"
"...."
Jinwoo then looks to the side for quite a while, "Wan't me to show you then?"
"What? Are you going to turn off all of korea's lights now?"
"I can, but I've got a better idea"
He suddenly joins you in the tree stump, pulling you by your waist close to him as the ground suddenly becomes pitch black with the misty shadows gathering into one. You could only gasp at the sudden visual, grasping onto his coat as the mist lifted you both off.
The gathering darkness formed a dragon, the scales of the creature glimmering in monarch purple as it roared loudly before ascending to the sky.
"S-sung Jinwoo, I said warn me next time! Kyahh!" You scream for dear life, practically sobbing whilst the man himself only laughs at your misery.
He hasn't teased you all day after all, how could a man not indulge in his woman?
"Ah... So cute." — Was the only thing in his head as he orders Kaisel to fly faster just so he can hear more of your panicked voice.
꒰ .... ꒱
The flight took a total of 30 minutes, your vocal chords now nonexistent from the screaming and crying. When you both finally landed, you whip a head towards your lover and began hitting him as a form of a tanthrum.
And how does the mighty Sung Jinwoo, the shadow monarch responds?
He only smiles mischievously as he blocks your attacks lazily with his palm.
Jinwoo lets you complain for a bit before placing a gentle palm on your cheek, whispering; "Look Up."
You didn't want to, what if the bastard is going to use his shadows to jumpscare you like he did whenever he's deathly bored? But after staring into those charming grey eyes ou never grew tired off— You finally look up.
Above your head is the edless night sky painted in several and millions of stars of different colors and shades. Pink, blue, yellow, purple, red— A whole galaxy is actually on the otherwise empty sky you've become used to seeing.
"Has... the sky always been pretty like this?" You ask as you are put in a complete daze while as Jinwoo's orbs only focus on you.
"If... There is less pollution and the lights are all turned off— Maybe you would see some other planets too" Jinwoo said.
"Will Woowoo show me that sky too?"
"You really want me to turn off all the lights in this world?"
"Hahah."
He can. You just have to ask.
But Jinwoo knew you won't so he just lets you indulge the night sky. He remembers it clearly, it was also around this hour where he first confessed to you. Although the sky that time is as empty as it gets— It still feels te same.
His hearts are racing, both his human heart and the heart he inherited from Ashborn as he holds your hand in this peaceful hour.
"I love you"
Jinwoo randomly blurts out, opting you to look at him, But his expression; as loving as it is he looks as of he is harboring some unsaid sorrow and regret.
But even if you asked, Jinwoo would only shake his head.
So intead, you return his affection, "I love you too, woowoo!"
That sweet, sweet, innocent and lovely smile of yours. The smile that is forever embedded into his head whenever he has to go through something alone and something that he is not confident in facing. Just like the rest of you from then; Jinwoo will burn this moment of you tonight in his memories should he need to face anything much bigger than he could ever handle.
Wordlessly, Jinwoo leans down and embraces your soft lips in his. A kiss full of tenderness and longing, a kiss of quiet passion.

I just saw a post where they mentioned what if Logan mocked your moans while he fingered you, or was doing anything really. It seems like it would feel silly coming from him but also so perfectly degrading
summary: y/n had always had a crush on Logan. not the worst Logan, but her timeline Logan. sadly, he died, and now she was stuck with this variant Wade had brought back home. sharing an apartment with an asshole was bad enough, but sharing one with an attractive, cocky, asshole, was far worse. especially when he knew how he made you feel.
note: this story will be the worst Logan. as always, he’s grumpy, and just an open asshole who thinks he’s better than the people he’s around.
———
“Who do you think you are?” Y/n looked up into the man’s eyes with anger, upset that he wouldn’t let her leave the apartment to go out with her friends. She goes out every weekend, and every weekend, he tries to stop her.
“Wade’s gone, and you’re out again — What are you hiding, y/n?” Logan asked, knowing whatever she did was none of her business. “I’m the legal age to drink and club, and you’re in my business about it? — Let me go,” y/n tried taking her arm away.
“You don’t pay for the bills here. Wade does, and-“ Logan tried making up some story about how disrespectful she would be to do what she wants. “And, Wade doesn’t give a shit. What now? I’m a grown woman. I could have a whole family if I wanted to, and you’re trying to trap me in the apartment like I’m some teen,”
“You don’t need to be out there, y/n,” Logan said, knowing what she goes out there for. He couldn’t stand it. Usually, when he teased women and they played hard to get, they didn’t just go out and party. Y/n did, and he couldn’t handle that.
“Get off of me, or I burn you,” y/n threatened as her body temperature heartened. “I’ll heal, and I don’t think you want to deal with me after I do,” Logan threatened as he moved his face inches from hers.
Within seconds, the man let go of how hot her skin was getting. Y/n instantly turned around and left to get out and away from the man who was trying his best to control her.
Fast-forward several hours, y/n finally returned from the nightclub she had attended with her lady friends. Many hours of drinking and plenty of hours of kissing random men had accrued that night.
That only made Logan’s blood boil as he watched every second of it pass by. He debated on lashing out at her every time she went to the bathroom, but when she went, she was always with a girl-friend.
The older man had to suffer for hours as the woman he’d been dying to have, had been kissing other men.
He couldn’t understand why y/n was so stuck up. Last he checked, women lived them rude and cocky. What happened in this timeline?
“Finally home,” Logan spoke in the corner of the darkroom as y/n stumbled into the apartment. She instantly rolled her eyes and sighed as she kicked off her shoes, barely being able to open her eyes or stand correctly.
“Gonna at least speak to me? Or are you too pissy drunk?” Logan asked, knowing which one it was. “That’s what I thought,” the man shook his head as he got up to walk toward her, but she paid no attention and made her way to her room.
“You didn’t even lock the door!” Logan shouted after her, but she ignored him, barely able to think about anything that was happening around her. Once she left the club with loud music, that was it for her.
Logan locked the front door and straightened up the shoes she kicked off on the front mat before he made his way toward her room. The man went to open her door, but she had locked it to shut him out for the night.
Logan sat in his room for a good hour, thinking about the way he should handle y/n. Should he kick her door down and yell at her? Should he talk to her from outside of her room? Should he wait to bring it up tomorrow? Or should he never speak of tonight?
Through the hour, he also thought about those men she let touch all over her and explore her mouth. He swore he’s never been too pissed off about a woman in his life.
It’s almost like she knew he was there to rub it in his face, and if that was the case, and he were to ever find out, he wouldn’t know how far he’d get upset.
All the men she kissed tonight waited for her, like some dog. It’s like Logan could see them a mile away. Why did she choose them, and not him? Logan was the real man here, not them.
“Fuck that,” Logan growled low as he pushed off of his bed and made his way out of his room. The man walked down the small hall before kicking y/n’s door open, causing her to jolt a bit in her sleep.
“Get up,” Logan demanded, but she barely understood him. She was still drunk, and now half asleep and in her dream. “What?” Y/n asked low as she saw the huge man make his way towards her.
“Up!” Logan demanded again before he ripped her cover off. “Hey-“ y/n went to say before Logan grabbed and pulled her up until she was seated in her bed. “Logan, what’s the deal?” Y/n asked, always irritated as he shifted her bottom to the edge of the bed.
“I want you to tell me if they mattered,” Logan spoke, only confused y/n. “What-“ y/n tried saying before Logan ripped her panties off. She had only worse panties and a bra to sleep in tonight instead of a nightgown like she usually wears. She was far too drunk to go through her drawers and find one.
“Hey,” y/n said as she went to push Logan’s fingers away that she rubbed across her heat. “You’re not even wet — They couldn’t have been that good, then,” Logan’s delusion fully kicked in before he stuck to fingers deep into y/n’s mouth.
Y/n tried pulling away and shaking her head, but Logan continued until his fingers were soaked with her saliva.
“Don’t bitch if it goes in dry then,” Logan said before he pushed two fingers at her entrance. “Hey, no-“ y/n went to stop him, but her voice cracked out as her hands stayed in shock right next to her thighs.
The young lady gripped her sheets as Logan curled his two fingers inside of her. “At least you’re empty — Maybe you’re not such a slut after all,” Logan said as y/n whined at the instant feeling of her stomach tightening.
“Aw, what’s wrong? Am I too big? — Fuck, I haven’t even put my dick in you yet,” Logan chuckled as he began to push his fingers in and out of her heat, focusing on her moans and the way she gripped around him.
“L-Lo-L-Lo,” y/n stuttered as she tried her best to keep herself up. “Lo-Lo-Lo — Fucking pathetic,” Logan mocked the girl as he looked into her eyes. She could barely hold them open as Logan played inside of her.
“No more,” y/n cried low as she felt herself near, upset that she wasn’t pushing the man off. She was strong enough to get rid of Logan, but something in her didn’t want him to stop this.
“You didn’t tell those little boys to stop — What makes you think I’ll fucking stop? Huh? — Ian stoppin’ princess,” Logan assured y/n, only making her roll her eyes, fully turned on by the way he was treating her.
For so long, y/n has been waiting for Logan to show just how cocky and asshole-like he could get. Finally, tonight, he decided to let it out.
With her being drunk, she couldn’t love this even more. There was nothing she could do about the way she was about to gush all over him.
“I’m gonna cum,” y/n said low as she fell back onto her mattress, getting ready to give Logan what he was trying so desperately to get from her. “There you go — Relax that body — Give it to me, Bub,” and with that, she did.
Y/n’s body locked up for a few seconds before shaking. Logan couldn’t help but laugh at her to taunt the way she got because of him. “Look at how I get you,”
Logan licked himself after he pulled out of y/n, making sure to get a treat for himself. That had triggered his mind to pick her up and take her to his room to continue eating her out.
“Get those fucking hands away from me, or I’ll make you count till ten,” Logan threatened after y/n tried pushing his head away from her heat. “No more — Please,” y/n begged the man as she took deep gasps.
All Logan did was chuckle into her heat, knowing he had too many more orgasms to go.

——Conversations with Gojo go by faster than you can quite comprehend sometimes. You believe it’s only because you haven’t seen each other in two years as to why neither of you can stop running your mouths as you walk into his palace side by side. He’s so charming and charismatic with his every word and gesture toward you that it leaves you wondering how you even went two years without interacting with him.
There was a point in time when the two of you could’ve been considered inseparable. Which is exactly why after a quick greeting was exchanged between you and his parents (notably a pair of the loveliest rulers, by the way), few are surprised that in the blink of an eye, you and Gojo have disappeared from just about everyone’s line of sight.
“Satoru, this is absurd. Where are you dragging me off to now?” Your voice carries out from your throat in a concerned whine as you stumble just a few inches behind the prince who’s made the spontaneous decision to pull you away from all watchful eyes.
He used to do this quite often when the two of you were children but it truly surprises you that this is an antic of which he’s never grown out of.
His fingers are tightly wrapped around your wrist as he paces down one hall and into another, clearly having a set destination somewhere in the forefront of that mind of his. “If I tell you where I’m taking you then the surprise will be ruined. What happened to your sense of adventure?” Gojo taunts.
You roll your eyes profoundly at that, “We are adults now—the highest proper members of society, at that. There isn’t a need for us to sneak about like this. You could have easily escorted me wherever it is you wish to, with the company of my–”
He comes to a sudden halt and you walk right into him, causing your sentence to fall short right then and there. You blink a few times before looking around to gather your surroundings but you only find yourself confused when you’re met with the scenery of a dark corner he seemingly tugged you into.
Turning to face you, Gojo sighs. “You seem to have forgotten me entirely within these past two years.”
Your head weighs over and your eyes narrow, “I beg your pardon? How could I have possibly forgotten you?”
His eyes steady in on your own. “I mean that as in, you have forgotten who I am.”
“I am overly aware of who you are,” You reply sharply, brows meeting center as you let out a soft huff between your statements. “That is why I’m here.”
“No, princess. You forgot me.” He pulls you closer to him ever so slightly. Even under the faint frost that exudes off him after the two years worth of distance between the both of you, you find this small sense of warmth creeping up on you as you’re pulled nearer. “Not Prince Satoru of the North but, me. Y’know, just.. Satoru.” Gojo emphasizes.
There’s this flickering plead heard within his tone but perhaps you imagine it. Hence why you’re unable to hinder the genuine perplexity on your face as it twists up, “I am confused about what has brought you to make such an assumption.”
A fleeting smile dawns on his face, “If you truly remembered me then you would recall how deeply I detest a great deal of eyes on me and my every move.”
“Is that why your palace lacks so many guards?” You force yourself to look him in the eye again and take his small smile as a sign that the air had lightened between you, “It is quite the hazard y’know—”
“Is there still a person beneath that crown you wear or have you truly molded into the conformed princess many have wished you to be all your life?” Gojo blurts out in full seriousness.
“I-,” It was almost as though he’d snapped you out of some sort of trance with that question, like reality had coldly slapped you across the face. You swallow down whatever quick response you were going to utter and cock your head back a bit as you really process what he’d just said to you. “O-Of course there is a person beneath this crown. If there wasn’t, I would not be here standing in front of you right now.”
Gojo merely stares at you with these judgmental blue eyes you remember disliking so much when you were younger. He never tried to hide the shrewdness that whirled so deeply within his gaze, for he held not an ounce of shame nor guilt within looking at people in such a way. Which is exactly why your eyes flitter elsewhere.
“Is that so?” He eventually whispers out.
You nod, “Yes. You didn’t even give me a chance to explain why I’m here before you began to judge me for God knows what.”
The look in his eyes softened, just a bit. “I apologize. That is part of why I wanted to bring you here. Well, not here in this corner but, away from others. I was going to ask why you traveled to see me but I wished to do that alone.”
“If you’d told me that beforehand, I could’ve simply requested a moment of privacy from my knight and the others.” You say with a roll of your eyes, “They would not have minded.”
Gojo shrugs, “Too late for that now.”
“You—”
“Why did you come to see me?” He cuts off once more, clearly wanting to waste little time with the back and forth. He may have been able to drag you away from others but this moment would only last for so long before one of your guards or that knight of yours comes to find you.
You clear your throat and straighten your posture up. “Surely you’ve heard news of my engagement.”
He scoffs lightheartedly, almost as if he felt bad for you, “Who hasn’t?”
“Right. And what of the accompanying news?” Your brows push up and your hands clasp over one another in front of you, “From what I know, everyone is aware of what I’d requested moments after the proposal.”
Shrugging, “I thought that was just a weird rumor,” Gojo tells you. Then concern fixes onto his face, “You’re truly instituting a harem?”
You nod confidently, “I am.”
It’s rather slow but, a snarky knowing grin spreads across Gojo’s face. “Ohhhh, and you came to invite me, didn’t you?”
“Obviously.” You tried to play it off as if the way he put the pieces together so quickly didn’t fluster you but something about his cockiness presenting itself to you so soon caught you off guard just a bit.
He hums. “I’m honored. ‘Never struck you as the harem-desiring type but I’m more than happy to be a part of it. Where ‘n when do I sign?”
“I…” Honestly, this was going a lot smoother than you imagined it would. “Well, if we hadn’t parted from my company then I’d have a pretty document held out to you by now.”
His shoulders slump a little at that and a pout tugs at his lower lips, “Aw shucks, so we have to return to them in order for me to join?”
You nod again, “Indeed we do.”
Gojo then lets out a sigh that’s as dramatic as ever. “Fine, fine,” A hand is motioned outward and you take the gesture as a sign to step back, which is followed by the two of you exiting that small corner he’d brought you to.
After that, your eyes immediately travel to take in the rest of your surroundings and something about the interior of Gojo’s palace feels rather gray. While the pristine silvers and blues do a wonderful job of livening up every wall and archway in sight, it was almost uncanny how this place looked once you were inside. You’re unsure of how exactly you imagined things would look but the more you study the nearby paintings and even some blank walls, the more you feel that unspoken sense of what differentiates a place from being a house to a home.
Before you have enough time to really digest your surroundings and let a question of wonder flow out of your mouth, Gojo is taking both your side and your attention once more.
“But uh…” He clears his throat as the silence is broken, “Is that really all you traveled out here to ask of me?”
The two of you begin to walk down the same hall you’d previously run through. “If I am being transparent, I thought this would be a lot more difficult.” You admit to the man.
He’s got his hands comfortably held behind his back as his head whips over to you and he gasps softly, “You jest.”
“I do not!” You chuckle, “I am quite serious, I was worried you’d turn me down after two years of us not communicating.”
With a click of his tongue, “Ah, well, that is of fault to no one.” Gojo hums, “Either of us could have reached out and we just… didn’t.”
“Exactly.”
“But seriously though?” Now his brows are furrowing and he’s giving you that look again, “You thought I’d turn you down? In what universe??”
And naturally, you can only smile at the genuine surprise he displays, “Careful, Satoru, you almost sound like you’re confessing something to me right now.”
“If that is what you wish to call this then so be it!” Gojo exclaims with a shrug, “I am being honest, why would I ever deny you of anything? How could I possibly fix my lips to tell you no or even…” He scoffs, “Reject you?”
You nudge him on his arm a little, “Saying no to my harem isn’t exactly a rejection. You could’ve said you just didn’t want to involve yourself in my affairs.”
He nudges you right back, “That sounds like a rejection, sweets.”
“It isn’t.” You shrug off with a smile resting on your face for a moment. It doesn’t last too long though, especially not as the reality of your plan dawns on you once more, “I am to be married into the Zen’in family, does that not frighten you?”
“Is it supposed to?” Gojo deadpans.
You snort. “I suppose not, no. I just—”
“You worry too much, y’know.” He points out, swiveling around in his steps to walk backward as he keeps his eyes on you, “I trust you, princess. If you come askin’ lil’ ole me to join your harem, one that your fiancé has allowed you to have, might I add, I’d be a fool to say no. Albeit I am a bit… concerned on where this’ll take me, I have faith in your judgment.”
You nearly find yourself lost in another moment of pure admiration as he walks and talks, your gaze especially focusing in on every soft part and twitch of his lips as words exit his throat so flawlessly. A mumbled, “I see.” falls from your mouth but you’re still deeply entranced by the man in front of you.
Gojo Satoru truly is so unfairly pretty. You could dive into those ocean-blue eyes of his knowing full well how to swim and still find a way to drown beneath the endless waves of beauty within them. And his hair rests so perfectly unkept that it makes you smile while you look at him. One run of your fingers through those snowy strands and you think your life would get a little better right then and there.
After all, you rarely ever got a chance to see him with his hair so casual. From what you remember of all the fancy gatherings the two of you met at before, his hair was always slicked back—something you remember him vividly expressing his grievance for.
“Oh,” He starts up again, breaking your over-analyzation, “And I’ve been dying for an excuse to leave this horrid Nation.”
Snapping out of it entirely, you clear your throat a little, “Horrid? Here??”
Gojo nods, “Yes, this palace is cold and lonely. That’s as horrid as it gets, m’lady.”
“Oh Satoru,” A frown pulls at your lips, “You are a prince. You could have anyone by your side in the blink of an eye if you wished it so. Anything you long for would be delivered to your doorstep if you so much as mentioned it in passing.”
“Yes but…” His steps slow down until he simply stops walking. “Just because I could have anything or anyone does not mean I want it.”
You come to a stop seconds after, “Well I know that but how can you complain about being lonely and cold when many would offer up their lives and more to give you what provides the opposite?”
Chuckling, Gojo lifts a hand to scratch at his head a bit, “I believe you mistook my original statement.”
“How so?” Your head tilts, “You said it’s cold and lonely here, yet you possess the tools and position of power to change that.”
“I do not seek that of which I could simply ask for.”
“I am confused. Why don’t—”
He steps closer to you and swiftly scoops up your hands in his own, “Princess, the warmth I seek is not something that can be given to me by merely anyone and the lonely nights I have endured are not because I haven’t a body to accompany myself with. You may not understand it because you are… Well,” Gojo's voice softens right after a chuckle escapes him, “You were raised differently than I.”
You merely blink, “I still do not understand but, fine. I shall accept your answer for now.”
“Perhaps you will understand it more later on,” He utters vaguely with a little lean forward.
Holding one another’s gaze, you two just stare in silence for an instant. He could be so frustratingly confusing at times—another habit of his you seemed to have forgotten up until now. But, there seems to be more to it this time, more to him.
So much so that it makes you begin to wonder… how much do you truly know about Gojo? He is an only child, the sole heir to his kingdom, much like you are to yours. Lately, he’s been known to decline a great deal of hands that have been offered to him for reasons unknown to the general public, or, anyone really.
The words, “I hope to.” Escape you in response to him after whatever that moment was.
What else do you know about him though? This question rings throughout your head as the two of you carry along your walk back. He is quite the dork when it’s just you and him, y’know, the kinda guy that’s never before failed to make you laugh. The most obvious fact is that he’s like heaven on the eyes, a true angel to gaze upon but-, you suppose you’d expect nothing less from any member of a royal family.
From the times you used to spend with him during your teenage years, you always found him quite rebellious. Not that you weren’t yourself but, he’s always had this distinctive rebellion about him. You’ve had your fair share of sneaking out of big events and whatnot but Gojo could only ever be found outside of those events. You remember always greeting his parents somewhere within the ballroom hours before you’d later run into Gojo off outside those prestigious events.
You even recall your first impression of him being that he was rather strange. You couldn’t understand why he was never actually in those social gatherings or why he hated having so many eyes on him. In some ways, sure, you related to him considering you’re also an only child but… there was something that separated your upbringing from his.
You simply hadn’t the words for it yet.
· · ──────── ·𖥸· ──────── · ·
Regardless, his entry into your harem was conducted faster than you ever could have predicted. The moment you both returned to your lovely knight and the rest of your traveling party, who’d all been searching for where you’d run off to, Gojo was handed that document you mentioned before and he signed it with zero hesitation.
Just like that, you’d gained your second harem member.
Oh this was sure to be a breeze for everyone else. Truth be told, Gojo was the only person you held doubts for but now that he’s joined, you can use that alone to convince everyone else to follow suit and do the same. If Prince Satoru is willing to join your harem then what could possibly stop anyone else from wanting to as well?
All things considered, the moment his name was printed in rich ink against that royal paper of yours, you turned right back to your advisor and made a few comments to him about how easy the rest of this should be.
Because of that, it seems to click in Gojo’s head that this really is all you came to him for. At some point, you mention something about getting ready to leave right now and the poor prince can feel his heart sinking a bit. “Hey, wait, what’s this? You’re off so soon?” He asks cautiously.
You were busy rambling on to Higuruma before he spoke but the moment a single syllable leaves Gojo’s lips, everyone’s attention shifts onto him and you can’t help but follow suit.
“Oh, well… yes,” You reply with an awkward smile on your face.
Gojo takes a step closer to you, to which Higuruma immediately steps back. Your entire body turns to the man before you—who looks so stupidly devastated already even though it’s not like you said you’d be staying for long anyway. “Surely you can stay for a few days?” Gojo requests with his eyes sinking to the floor a little.
You blink. He almost looks shy to ask that of you. “I-, would you like me to stay for a few days?”
His head perks up, “Yes. I-I mean, if you’re able to, that would be nice. We’ve got plenty of space, as you can see… and uh, I could show you around some more. Especially since it’s your first time up north.”
“I am on a tight schedule though,” You tell him as softly as you can manage. It’s true too. You’ve only got six months to try to pull this whole thing off and you’ve already spent a week traveling here so, time is truly of the greatest essence. “As much as I’d love to stay here, I’ve three other Nations to visit and—”
“Three days,” Gojo breaks off, “Stay here with me for three days, that is all I ask.”
Taking a moment to consider, he watches as your face sinks into a mix of genuine concern and worry. There’s no way you can spend three days here with him. Your next destination is the northeast, which is practically another three days worth of travel in itself. You’re supposed to be off to meet and recruit Geto Suguru and yet here Gojo is asking you to—
“We can spare three days, Your Highness.” Higuruma snatches you from your frantic thoughts with that statement alone and relief washes over you as you glance back at him.
With tensed brows, your eyes widen a little, “Can we truly?”
Your royal advisor gestures to you with a reassuring nod of his head and your shoulders relax.
Then you turn back to Gojo and grin. “I suppose it is only three days,” You say, motioning your hand in the air. At that, you can hear the sounds of your accompanying guards shuffling to head out to your carriages and gather whatever will be necessary for the agreed days of stay.
Gojo lights up entirely and he can’t help the beaming smile that dawns on him, watching as you walk past him to further yourself into his palace for a second time.
“I should hope you’ll do well in keeping my attention for the next few days then, Satoru?” You tease.
He paces closely behind you for a moment before throwing an arm over your shoulder and leaning against you, “Haven’t you heard? I’m an excellent host, m’lady.”
You scoff, “You do realize you are the same man who does everything in his power to avoid almost any and all social settings, yes?”
“I’m well aware!” He huffs, “But just because I avoid the duties of a host does not mean I don’t make a fine one. Plus, it’s only you.”
“You’ll find that I make quite the crowd.” You place a hand on his arm for a moment and his eyes glimmer at your touch.
…Only for you to use that hand of yours to toss his arm off of your shoulders.
He frowns before stuffing his hands into his pockets, “Do you?”
You make another motion for something and Gojo watches as Yuki comes to take your side, your lady-in-waiting following shortly after. “I am a princess.”
Gojo rolls his eyes, “And I, a prince. Lest you forgot?”
Playfully, you send him one last smile, “I do sometimes.”
“Was that an insult?” He spouts back, only to receive silence from you.
Then he watches you turn away and begin to head elsewhere with your company following closely behind. Gojo’s stuck in his own little world as he watches the sway of your gown and the way you carry yourself entirely whilst you walk off. You’re so radiant that it makes his mind go blank in instances like this.
Clearing his throat, he snaps out of it when he realizes you’ve gotten rather far down the hall, “H-Hey wait—”
“I’m off to change into my evening wear,” You say to him with a dismissive wave back. “I hope you know what you’ve just gotten yourself into.”
Now, Gojo isn’t entirely sure what to make of what you just said but either way, it makes his chest feel funny. Was that referring to joining your harem or asking you to stay with him for three days? Hell, now that he’s in your harem… doesn’t that mean the two of you could f—
A hand suddenly comes down on Gojo’s shoulder and he flinches out of the prude thoughts he was about to have with a frightened yelp leaving him. Turning his head, he’s met with Higuruma. “I too hope you understand what you’ve gotten yourself into, Your Majesty.”
“Why do you guys keep saying that? I asked her to stay for three days, not a month. What’s the worst that can happen?” Gojo huffs out.
Higuruma shrugs, “Nothing.”
Turning to the man fully and flashing a look of skepticism to the man, “Then what is there for me to understand in terms of what I’ve just gotten myself into?” Gojo asks.
Higuruma also turns to face Gojo properly and the two meet eyes. “Permission to be rather frank, Your Majesty?”
He nods, “Granted.”
“She willn’t sleep with you within these three days.”
“I–, pfft, what-,” He snorts, “That’s-, why would I-,” Gojo cuts off his stammering with a firm clearing of his throat. “What does that have to do with anything?”
Deadpanning, “You are a man with needs who’s just joined a lady’s harem. A lady who is quite irresistible, at that. No one is a stranger to the way you look at her.” Your royal advisor explains simply.
For a second or two, Gojo awkwardly shuffles his gaze elsewhere. It’s funny that Higuruma’s telling him all this, especially considering where his thoughts were traveling to recently.
After which, the prince grumbles a gentle, “Is it that obvious?”
“That you desire her highness?” Higuruma clarifies with an unamused lift of his brows, “Quite.”
“Can you blame me?”
“Of course not. That is why I am letting you know from now that just because you’re in her harem now does not mean she will lay with you.”
Interesting, Gojo notes. Sleeping with you wasn’t exactly a top priority of his but he’d be lying if he claimed it wasn’t something he had the slightest hopes in getting out of the next few days. “Why?” He soon inquires further.
Higuruma seems to straighten up where he stands, “She’s explained to me that she wishes not to have sex until her entire harem is instated.”
Gojo clicks his tongue, “Ah, right…”
“That, and she deems it unfair for her to sleep with a member moments after they’ve joined. If she slept with you, via her logic, she’d have to sleep with the rest of her members right as they join to make things fair.”
“I see…” He nods along, watching as a few members of your traveling crew and guard return from outside with some of your luggage and haul it off in the direction you went. Then, another question pops into Gojo’s head, “Alright, cool. But, pray tell, why do you know of all this, Sir Higuruma?”
Your advisor lets out a sudden cough, as if the topic flusters him in a way, “Oh, I-, she told me.”
“Obviously.” Gojo chuckles, nudging the man on his shoulder to silently get him to lighten up, “But, why?”
Avoiding eyes at all costs, Higuruma watches as your guards walk by, “I am her royal advisor and she sought… advice.”
“She asked you to advise her on when to have sex?” Gojo questions bluntly with a tilt of his head.
“N-No,” Higuruma stammers and his face flushes ever so slightly, “Her majesty found herself in a rather uh, tempting predicament and asked me to advise her on what to do.”
Pressing forward, Gojo lets not one of his questions remain in his head, “And so you told her to suppress her desires until her entire harem was instituted?”
“No, that is not–”
“And wait, ‘tempting predicament’?” He interrupts, “With whom? Am I not the first member??”
“Hah,” Higuruma finally lets out a laugh, “No, your highness. You are the second member.”
Gojo cocks his head back. Well that was a surprise. And there he was almost feeling special. “Who the hell is the first??”
“Lady Tsukumo.”
“Lady Tsu-, oh my.” Gojo releases a dramatic breath of air and brings a hand up to his chin in thought for a moment, “I knew she was… I just didn’t think… Yuki?? The knight??”
Higuruma nods along, “Yes..”
“Huh.”
A quiet passes by and the two men stand there watching as people come in and out of the palace, transporting all your things necessary for three days—which seems to be a lot, in Gojo’s eyes.
After a while though, Higuruma clears his throat and looks to the clearly still concerned prince, “May I be crude?”
Gojo just shrugs, “Sure.”
“Her Majesty was in a state of heavy lust. She sought to have sex desperately and considered acting on her desires one night during our travels. But, before she went along with her needs…” He raises a hand to tug at the collar of his suit for a second, “She came to me and asked if it were wise of her to do so with Lady Tsukumo.”
Intrigued, Gojo leans a little closer and smirks, “To which you told her no..?”
“Not quite, I told Her Highness some history of past harems,” Higuruma continues, “The first night is essential and it is best that the owner of the harem waits until they have all their members gathered to pick that first night.”
“I.. see?”
“It is a tradition amongst harems. She doesn’t have to adhere to it but, it would be best given her uh, goals for this whole thing.”
“Hm.”
With an adjustment of his tie, Higuruma turns to Gojo again, “Think of it like this; whoever she sleeps with first will hold that title proudly as the first pick. They will parade about the rest of the harem knowing that they were chosen first, not by mere convenience or anything but, simply by choice. The remainder of her harem will work twice as hard to gain Her Majesty’s attention for her next night.”
“Ahhh,” Gojo exclaims softly, “So it is like a game of favoritism?”
“Not quite that either. Truly it all depends on who leaves the most lasting impression on her,” Higuruma says with a casual shrug of his shoulders, “In the event that no one does, I’m sure she will spend the first night with Lady Tsukumo. But, it is the wait that makes it worth it. That and the fairness of it all.”
“Wow, I see why you’re an advisor. Perhaps I should get one!” The prince claims, snapping his fingers in thought afterward.
Your advisor gives a humble shrug, “I do my best to fulfill my duties.”
“I respect that. Thank you, Sir Higuruma.”
“Anytime, my liege.”
And their conversation concludes there. It was nice how open Higuruma seemed to be in terms of explaining your harem and how things will work, it helped Gojo understand what exactly he signed up for a bit better—especially since he didn’t ask you any decent questions beforehand.
Perhaps he was a little blinded by the word harem leaving your lips. It’s still surprising that the thing he passed off as a rumor before turned out to be true. It honestly makes him wonder if the whole rumor about you and Naoya hating each other is also true. From what he’s heard, the two of you cannot stand one another. And yet… you’re supposed to be getting married in six months? Odd.
He thought it was odd from the moment word of the proposal reached his ears but now that the whole harem thing turned out to be real, it only makes Gojo’s speculations escalate. Actually, it kind of makes sense. The only logical reason Naoya would allow his fiancée to go out and curate a harem for herself would be if he hated her. Everyone knows that harems carry a nasty stigma. Hell, Gojo’s surprised that society hasn’t labeled you as a whore by now.
Not that any of that information would have deterred him from joining. After all, the thing he’s most curious about is you. You’ve clearly changed quite a bit since the last time he saw you. You’re so much more dignified and sophisticated now. Still as witty as ever but, there’s something else about you….
Oh! That’s right! It’s in the way you carry yourself now. Every lingering gaze or touch from you sends a nasty chill down Gojo’s spine. It’s not exactly a fearful kinda chill but something that leaves the poor man longing for more and more. It’s this alluring vibe you’ve got cast around you now.
Something you’re clearly oblivious about too, otherwise there’s no way you’d do the things you do. Like earlier for example, surely if you knew how insane a whisper of Gojo’s name drove him, you wouldn’t utter it the way you do. Then there’s the way you tease him. The way you taunt him. The—
Hah, Gojo can feel his heart thumping irregularly again. The last time he felt this sensation was the last time he saw you. It should be a crime for you to have this much of an unknown chokehold on him like this.
This feeling… it’s simply inescapable when it comes to you. Almost as though, no matter the setting, time, or place, as long as you involve yourself with the man that is Gojo Satoru, always will he find himself losing his sanity over you.
And the worst part of it all? You haven’t the slightest clue about it.

Radio Demon Demands Snuggles 1/2
Tumblr media
Summary: It's your first rut month in Hell and you've caught the interest of the Radio Demon. The Radio Demon who's annual problem was a bit different than most others....
Notes: NO SMUT, Alastor x Reader, pre-relationship, OOC Alastor, he gets better, Snuggles, communication, suggestive themes because it's about rut
One day you woke up in Alastor’s room, nestled in his bed. You blinked, delirious and confused, and tried to sit up only to find you were pinned down on the mattress.
By Alastor.
Who wasn’t wearing his coat. Or his shoes. Or his monocle.
Who was clinging onto you, cheek pressed into your stomach, his tail wagging happily out in the open.
You were equal parts terrified, confused, and awe-struck. But first.
“Alastor…?”
“Mmmm yes?” He murmured, sleep making his voice come out in a drawl.
“…What are you doing?”
“Snuggling.” Alastor sighed, nuzzling his face against you as his wagging tail picked up speed. His sharp grin had been swapped out for a dopey looking smile, his fangs poked out under his lip.
“….Why?”
“Snuggle time.”
You blinked, confused “Alastor- I- what’s going on- why are you-“
“Shshshshhshshshhhhh.” He said, putting a hand over your face to stop your mumbling “Snuggles.”
He withdrew his hand, wrapping the arm around you and sighing contently.
“…Are you sick? Were you drugged?”
“Only drug here is an excessive amount of dopamine.” Alastor said, his eyes squinting in his smile. “So soft. So comfy.”
Not adjectives you’d use to describe yourself, but that wasn’t important. Your tried to pry Alastor off you only to stop abruptly when he whined. Like a dog. The sound was high-pitched and heartbreaking to hear and you couldn’t find it in you to continue pushing him away.
He snapped right back to you, his tail wagging again as he pressed his face flushed against you.
With no other choice, you ended up laying there, staring at the sky of Alastor’s strange pocket-dimension and feeling squished underneath him. It wasn’t an uncomfortable feeling by any means, but the strangeness of Alastor’s behavior was still upsetting you. After a bit, you tried again.
“Alastor can you tell me what’s going on now?” You said. His response was to nuzzle his face into your stomach and grip you harder. His ears pinned back slightly as he muttered his protest at being interrupted. This was wrong. Fingers curling into the sheets, you tried to steady yourself enough to breath evenly. It failed. You let out a quiet, shaky sob.
Alastor’s ears shot straight up.
“Alastor, please- I’m really worried, okay?” You said as you fought to keep your voice steady “This is really, really weird for you- and I-“
“Oh, darling….” Alastor sighed. He pushed himself away and off you, though it seemed it took a good deal of effort. His hands came to cradle either side of your face and he wiped your tears away gently “Always so considerate…”
You lightly gripped his wrists and pulled them off you “Alastor-“
“It’s rut month, my dear.”
You didn’t try hiding your confusion.
“…Ah. No one told you about it yet.” He muttered “Rut month….well. Most demons get it, it’s an annual punishment where a demon’s… physical interests, intensify to a point it’s near impossible to control.”
You stiffen. “Uh-“
Alastor pressed his forehead to yours, fingers carding gently through your hair. “it’s…humiliating. To say so, but even I’m not exempt from this.”
“UUUUUHHHH”
“….You seem distressed.”
“Alastor, I do NOT want to fuck.”
“I am not asking you to.” Alastor said, a slight growl to his voice. He pressed your head against his chest and wrapped his long limbs around you, keeping you still “For some demons, ruts are…different. Odd. Whatever. In my case,” he took a long, deep breath, nose buried in your hair “I simply…erk. Get.” He pressed you head firmer against him, as if trying to stop you from pulling away. His body felt very warm and you wondered if that was due to the rut or embarrassment. “…snuggly.”
“….That’s it?”
“Clingy. Snuggly. Perhaps…. A bit….silly. Overly affectionate. All those things I hate being.”
“….It feels wrong.” You sighed, trying to pull away “From what I’m gathering, you’re not exactly yourself. I don’t want to do this if you-“
He whined again, wrapping around you even tighter.
“Alastor.” You said.
It seemed he purposely ignored you, pressing his face against the back of your neck.
“Alastor.” You said again, putting more authority into your voice.
“Don’t do this to me, darling….” He said quietly. The tremble in his voice made your heart break but you meant what you said.
“You would not be okay with this during a normal time.” You said “This is something you’d regret once you’re coherent and I will NOT do that to you. Understand?”
“Darling-“
“No.” You hissed.
“….hold my hand?”
You furrowed your brows. “…. I don’t think you’d-“
“Arm around mine then. Hands on my ears. Something, dearest. Please.”
“…Sit up.”
He did. You pretended it didn’t bother you as much as it did. Gently you guided him so he was laying on his back with his head on the pillow. Then you settled next to him, allowing your arm to just barely brush his. Alastor tried to move closer and you pushed him away.
“No. this is as far you’d go normally.”
“Damn.” He murmured, ears pinning back as he glared intently at the ceiling.
“I think you’ll thank me, later.” You said with a roll of your eyes, flipping open a book you snagged from his bedside. It was a murder mystery, to no one’s surprise.
“Well right now, I am not.” He huffed.
“Whatever. Try to sleep it off.” You said, trying to ignore how badly you wanted to move closer. For whatever reason, Alastor had sought you out for this. That alone was enough the set your cheeks aflame and give you the warm and fuzzies. But he was being so cute too.
It didn’t matter, though. As innocent as snuggling was, you were sure Alastor wouldn’t do it while coherent, and you weren’t going to take advantage of it.
The month crawled by. Alastor seemed to accept the boundary you drew for him, but whenever you weren’t by his side he would start pacing irritably. If it was particularly bad day, he’d start to whine. The residents of the hotel seemed more worried about you than Alastor, asking where you’ve been and why you’ve been hard to reach.
You didn’t know how much Alastor would want to share so you kept it vague. Saying it wasn’t your situation to share. Charlie let up when you assured her you would ask for help if need be. Angel kept smirking whenever he saw you and offered to ‘help you out for rut month’. You supposed that was the natural conclusion to come to but you never said anything other than waving him off.
Turned out you were one of the lucky few who didn’t get the annual rut. Nifty had exclaimed she didn’t get it either. Though she sounded incredibly disappointed by it. Angel’s was so insignificant to him given his lifestyle, and Husk said he’d usual set something up before hand to ‘fuck it out’ as soon as possible. Charlie and Vaggie didn’t seem to get it, as it seemed to be a sinner thing. Lucifer seemed surprised it was a thing at all.
None of this helped you with Alastor. You sighed, feeling utterly drained as you trotted back to his room. Your muscles tense but no fierce tackle was thrown your way. First beat was confusion. Second was concern. Third (but faint) was disappointment.
“Alastor?” You said, taking off your shoes by the door and padding softly into his room.
“Hello, dear.” The Radio Demon grinned. He was sat at an armchair, legs crossed primly as he flipped through a book. His coat and monocle were back, his shoes on neatly.
“Oh! Is it over now?” You exclaimed, relief flooding over the slight (selfish) disappointment.
“It would seem so!” He hummed. He closed his book and placed It on the table next to him before strolling over to you. That sharp-toothed grin was back, no longer the dopey smile you had gotten used to.
“That’s such a relief.” You said with a smile “I can go back to living!”
“Nah-ah-ha.” Alastor hummed, wagging his finger “AFTER-living, darling.”
“Yeah, yeah, that.” You said with a roll of your eyes. “Well! I’ll grab my things I moved over here and get going.”
“Already taken care of!” Alastor grinned “I didn’t exactly want all those soulless stuffed animals staring at me with their void-filled eyes.”
“Dude.” You huffed “They’re just stuffed animals. Chill.”
“Kindly use words that make sense.”
“Skibidi.”
“……YOU don’t even know what that one means.”
“I know it annoys you.”
“HA.”
You laughed a bit. “Well, thanks for that. I’ll get out of your hair now.”
“Kindly do. I have a plethora of matters to attend to.” Alastor said, his grin straining ever-so-slightly “Damned rut season….”
“Well yeah it’s damned, we’re in hell.”
“HA HA.”
“I know, I’m hilarious.” You grinned “Well, see ya.”
“Ta-ta! Oh….One more thing, before you go?”
You stopped, turning to face him “Yeah?”
Alastor ears went back, his eyes darting to the side “…Thank you.”
Your smile softened “Of course.”

model! karina cheers assistant! reader up
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: model! karina x assistant! female reader
word count: 1k+
summary: y/n was having an absolutely miserable morning, and everyone—including jimin—felt the effects of her foul mood. snapping at people left and right, she wanted nothing more than to be left alone, but of course, jimin had other plans. unwilling to deal with a sulky assistant all day, the spoiled model took it upon herself to fix y/n’s mood—whether she wanted her to or not.
from my series: the devil wears prada
Tumblr media
y/n knew it was going to be a bad day the moment she woke up. her alarm didn’t go off, meaning she had to rush through her morning routine. her coffee machine—her lifeline—refused to work. then, as if the universe was out to get her, she stepped outside only to be met with pouring rain and no umbrella. by the time she arrived at jimin’s penthouse, drenched, exhausted, and running purely on frustration, she was already dangerously close to losing her patience.
“you’re late,” jimin commented, lounging on the couch with a cup of steaming coffee in her perfectly manicured hands. she didn’t even need coffee that morning; she just liked the aesthetic of holding it.
y/n shot her a sharp glare as she squeezed water out of her sleeves. “gee, thanks for the observation, sherlock.”
jimin raised an eyebrow at the attitude but didn’t say anything. yet.
the day only got worse from there. y/n had back-to-back calls, urgent emails, and a schedule to fix because someone (cough jimin cough) decided she didn’t feel like attending a certain shoot last minute. every little inconvenience grated on her nerves, and soon, she found herself snapping at anyone who so much as looked at her the wrong way.
even the model herself.
“ugh, can you stop hovering?” y/n snapped when jimin followed her into the kitchen, watching her struggle to open a stubborn bottle of water.
jimin, who usually had a snarky comeback for everything, simply tilted her head. “you’re in a bad mood.”
“no shit.”
instead of getting annoyed like usual, jimin just hummed. “hmm. i don’t like this.”
y/n scoffed. “well, i don’t like today, but here we are.”
jimin didn’t leave her alone after that. in fact, she made it her mission to pester y/n. during meetings, she’d text her ridiculous things like ‘what if i got bangs? do u think i’d look hotter?’ or ‘i saw a dog today. it was ugly. reminded me of you.’ ‘go get princess that new limited edition cat dress from givenchy’
when that didn’t work, she started physically annoying her—poking her arm, pulling on the sleeve of her blazer, even stealing her pen when she was trying to write something down.
“jimin, i swear to god—”
“oh, look at that. you’re saying my name now instead of ‘ms. yu.’ progress!” jimin smirked.
y/n groaned, rubbing her temples. “what do you want?”
“you, but less grumpy.”
“not happening.”
jimin gasped dramatically. “so mean. what happened to my lovely assistant?”
“she’s dead. may she rest in peace.”
but of course, jimin never knew how to give up. later in the afternoon, she disappeared for a while, only to return holding—of all things—y/n’s favorite pastry from that overpriced bakery she always talked about.
y/n blinked. “where did you get that?”
“doesn’t matter.” jimin placed it in front of her. “eat it.”
y/n frowned. “why are you being nice?”
jimin rolled her eyes. “i’m always nice.”
y/n snorted. “you’re never nice.”
“and yet, here i am, doing charity work by cheering up my grumpy little assistant.”
y/n stared at her, then at the pastry, then back at her. ugh. she hated to admit it, but… it was kind of sweet. with a sigh, she finally took a bite.
jimin watched her expectantly. “better?”
y/n chewed, pretending to think. “eh. a little.”
jimin smirked. “knew it.”
y/n shook her head but couldn’t fight the small smile forming on her lips. maybe today wasn’t completely terrible. as much as y/n hated to admit it, jimin’s efforts were helping. just a little. but she wasn’t about to give the bratty model that satisfaction so easily.
jimin, however, was relentless.
“so,” jimin started as she plopped down onto the couch beside y/n, far too close for comfort. “what else do i have to do to make you stop sulking? want me to book you a vacation? buy you a new car? oh, wait—maybe you want me to drive you around in said car. imagine that, ms. assistant, getting chauffeured by me.”
y/n shot her a deadpan look. “why do you sound like a rich old man trying to solve his problems with money?”
jimin gasped, pressing a hand to her chest in fake offense. “how dare you? i am far from an old man.”
“you have the attitude of one.”
jimin narrowed her eyes. “you really are in a mood today.”
y/n sighed and leaned back, rubbing her temples. “look, i appreciate whatever you’re trying to do, but i just… i need some space, okay?”
jimin frowned. she didn’t like that answer. not one bit. y/n was hers to annoy, to pester, to keep close—space was not part of their arrangement. but instead of voicing her complaints, she stayed quiet for a moment, thinking.
then, out of nowhere, she got up and disappeared into the other room. y/n didn’t think much of it at first—jimin was unpredictable like that. but a few minutes later, she returned with something in her hands.
a blanket.
before y/n could ask, jimin tossed it over her, making sure it covered her entire body.
“…what are you doing?” y/n mumbled from under the fabric.
“i’m tucking you in. obviously.”
“tucking me in? i’m not a child.”
jimin scoffed. “well, you’re acting like one.”
y/n huffed, but she was too exhausted to argue. the weight of the blanket was warm and oddly comforting. she peered up at jimin, who was looking down at her with an unreadable expression.
“…why are you being nice?” y/n finally asked.
jimin crossed her arms. “you’re annoying when you’re in a bad mood. and if this is what it takes to make you stop being annoying, then fine. i’ll allow it.”
y/n gave her a look. “wow. you really suck at being genuine.”
“and yet, here i am, taking care of your grumpy ass,” jimin quipped back.
y/n rolled her eyes but couldn’t fight the tiny smile tugging at her lips. she sighed, finally letting the tension melt from her shoulders. maybe jimin’s ways were unconventional, but at the end of the day, she did make her feel better.
“thanks, i guess,” y/n muttered, barely audible.
jimin smirked. “huh? what was that?”
y/n groaned, pulling the blanket over her face. “don’t push it, yu.”
but the way jimin’s smirk softened into something almost fond did not go unnoticed.
“just rest for now, m’kay? be in a better mood when you wake up.”

your sevika with a pouty reader was sooo good could you do one with ambessa?
♡♥︎Ambessa with a Pouty Woman♥︎♡
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
♥︎ Ambessa, despite her tough exterior, finds herself oddly intrigued by your pouty moments. At first, she might not understand why you’re pouting, but she watches you closely and quickly catches on to the fact that it’s your way of communicating when you’re upset or seeking attention.
♥︎ When you start pouting, Ambessa’s usually not the type to rush in and coddle you, but she notices the change in your demeanor. Her sharp eyes narrow slightly, assessing whether it’s something she needs to address or if it’s just a fleeting mood. Her response is cool, but she’s definitely aware of it.
♥︎ If you’re pouting over something trivial, Ambessa will raise an eyebrow, giving you a pointed look. “Really?” she’ll ask, her voice smooth yet firm. “This is how you’re going to act over something so small?” But her tone is more teasing than scolding, letting you know she’s not really upset—she’s just curious about your antics.
♥︎ If it’s something more serious, Ambessa is quick to step in. Her gaze softens slightly when she sees you truly bothered, and she’ll approach you with that quiet, commanding presence of hers. “Come now,” she’ll say, her voice a little gentler than usual. “Tell me what’s really going on.” She won’t let you hide behind a pout; she knows how to cut through the surface-level irritation to reach the heart of the matter.
♥︎ Ambessa doesn’t indulge poutiness for long. If you stay sulking, she’ll pull you aside, take your chin gently but firmly in her hand, and tilt your face up to meet hers. “Enough,” she’ll say, her voice a little softer than her usual stern tone. “If you have something to say, speak it. I won’t tolerate silence when you’re in my presence.” But you can tell she’s not angry—just that she expects more from you than petty moods.
♥︎ When you’re pouting, she’s calm and patient, never raising her voice or losing control. She’ll watch you for a while, waiting for you to snap out of it, and when you do, she’ll offer you a slight smirk. “I don’t deal with childish behavior,” she’ll tease, but her smile is warm enough to let you know that she’s not truly frustrated with you. She simply finds your behavior amusing at times.
♥︎ If you persist with your pout, Ambessa will take the initiative to fix the situation. She’s not one to wait for you to come to her—she’ll walk over, place her hands on your shoulders, and pull you into her arms. “Enough of this, darling,” she’ll say, her tone more reassuring than anything else. “Let’s stop this little game. You know I can’t stand it when you’re upset for no reason.”
♥︎ If you cross a line with your pouty behavior and it starts to irritate her, Ambessa will take a more direct approach. She’ll get closer, her imposing presence clear as she gently but firmly pulls you toward her. “If you want attention, you’ll have to ask for it,” she’ll say in a tone that brooks no argument. She doesn’t appreciate being manipulated, and she’s quick to remind you of that.
♥︎ But when you pout in a way that’s genuine, Ambessa softens—just a bit. She’ll take your hand, guiding you to sit next to her with a look that says, I understand. “What is it, darling?” she’ll ask quietly, brushing a strand of hair away from your face. She’s the kind of person who understands the complexity of emotions, and she won’t dismiss yours, no matter how trivial they may seem.
♥︎ Ambessa doesn’t really “do” excessive displays of affection, but when you’re pouty and need comfort, she’s surprisingly attentive in her own way. She’ll run her fingers through your hair or trace patterns on your back, offering reassurance without smothering you. Her touch is firm but calming, the kind of presence that puts you at ease, even if she doesn’t vocalize it much.
♥︎ If you try to hide behind a pout to avoid confronting something difficult, Ambessa won’t let it slide. She’ll call you out on it, her gaze stern and unwavering. “I’m not here for games,” she’ll say with a slight edge. “If there’s something you need to say, say it now. I’m not going to let you avoid the conversation.”
♥︎ Ambessa might not be the type to spoil you, but she does have a certain indulgence for your moods, especially when she sees that they come from a place of vulnerability. If you pout because you’re feeling insecure or unsure, she’ll take extra care to remind you of your worth, speaking with quiet authority. “You know I think the world of you, don’t you?” she’ll ask, her voice laced with an intensity that is both reassuring and commanding.
♥︎ When she notices you’re starting to settle into that sulky mood, Ambessa won’t be shy about getting what she wants. She might challenge you a little, saying something like, “If you’re going to act like this, I’ll just have to make you smile, won’t I?” The way she smirks when she says it lets you know that she won’t back down until you’ve snapped out of it—and that includes offering playful teasing until the mood breaks.
♥︎ Ambessa isn’t one to cater to whims, but if she sees that you’re genuinely upset, she’ll ease into a more gentle approach. She’ll pull you closer, let you rest your head against her shoulder, and allow a brief moment of softness. “I’m not going anywhere,” she’ll remind you quietly. “If you need me, I’ll be here.”
♥︎ Despite her commanding presence, Ambessa has a surprisingly nurturing side when you’re truly upset. If your pout stems from something deeper than just a petty mood, she’ll pull you in close, pressing a kiss to your forehead and saying something reassuring: “I’m not going to let anything harm you. Not on my watch.”
♥︎ She’s the kind of partner who doesn’t expect you to be perfect, but she does expect you to be honest. So when you pout, it’s just a matter of whether you’re being honest about why you’re upset or just throwing a tantrum for attention. If you’re being sincere, she’ll take it seriously, but if it’s just a game, she’ll let you know that she’s not in the mood to play.
♥︎ If you can pull her into a playful mood with your poutiness, Ambessa might give you a rare moment of indulgence. She’ll lean in close, pressing a kiss to your lips or offering you a warm smile. “You know I don’t give in to this often,” she’ll say, “but you’ve earned it.”

-------
Steve Rogers left you in your hotel room, a quivering, emotional, mess.
He’d made you cum, hard, but you felt that he was holding back, that if you’d told him how you felt it would have been so much better.
Or maybe that was all in your mind. Steven Grant Rogers was on your mind a lot since you met him as Grant Stevens in Atlanta.
A lot happened in a short amount of time that caused you to deny your feelings for him. And now you were no longer trying to keep him out.
He was definitely a distraction, but now you couldn’t deny your feelings for him any longer. You just needed to be a woman about it and tell him.
What’s the worst that could happen? You weren’t going to marry the guy, you just want to explore these mutual feelings. It shouldn’t be complicated.
Right?
You still had the rest of the week in New York to stress out about it, so that was a plus. The afternoon was ahead of you and the next day was the Summitt.
After that, you had your one on one with Steve.
Bucky told you about Steve being an artist himself during your meeting with him. So, for your meeting with Steve, you requested that you see some of his artwork, and he agreed.
You were curious to see what he could create, and you were anxious and turned on at the thought of him as a creator.
You were so into Steve Rogers.
And you didn’t know what you were going to do about that.
—--
Steve had to stop himself from going back up to your room three times after he left. He finally exited the hotel and stalked down the street back to the Rebirth building to his car and pulled out his phone, dialing Bucky and pulling out of the garage.
He needed a drive and a little alone time to clear his head and come down from you, but he also needed his friend’s help.
“Wassssaaaap! Did you get the–”
Steve cut Bucky off.
“Remember that shopping trip we took a few weeks ago? For the ring?”
“Oh shit.”
“Yeah. Meet me on 47th street.”
—-
That afternoon, you just kept your distance from Sharon and ignored her, focusing on the task at hand and all business. You didn’t want to waste energy on her.
Your energy was spent on thinking about Steve and wondering if he was thinking of you too. You wanted to text him, but you were chilling. You didn’t want to seem to eager.
You were successful in your self control until 11 pm as you tossed and turned in your hotel king bed. Doubts, but mostly need and desire, coursed through you.
You were going to find out exactly what Steve was doing right now and who he might be with. You shook your head at how much you cared; it was definitely not something you regularly did. You weren’t used to feening for someone.
You were choosing violence as you posed on the bed in front of the mirror. You sat on the bed, crossed your legs and snapped a picture.
You weren’t naked, but your panties were skin tone and your sleep bra was sheer and you were feeling needy.
Before you thought too hard, you sent it to Steve, then jumped in bed and pulled the covers over your head with that feeling of dread and panic when you don’t know if you’ve done something supremely reckless or not.
Steve was ready for the Summit, but he couldn’t stop thinking of you. Sleep was elusive, so he was self medicating, sketching your body from memory of mostly touch.
His phone vibrated and he almost didn’t pick it up, but when he saw your name, his heart sped up.
He clicked through to your message and his heart started hammering in his chest.
Sorry, wrong thread.
The picture you sent along threatened to give him a heart attack. He zoomed in a couple of times and then read the message again. What the fuck?
——-
In less than a minute your phone was ringing. You picked up immediately.
“Don’t fucking play with me, Peach.”
Steve’s growl got you wet, but you instantly regretted your horny decisions.
“It was a mistake.”
“It absofuckinlutely was. You’re joking about it being the wrong thread, right? That is mine, correct?”
You shivered at his double meaning and at his possessiveness.
“Yes, Mr. Rogers.”
Your voice was needy and that awakened a hunger in Steve. He was beyond frustrated that he wasn’t there to spank your ass raw, but he remained quiet.
You sensed his mood.
“If I were there, I’d make it up to you…”
You were testing the waters, experimenting to see if he would give you what you wanted despite his annoyance.
If he would give you what you needed.
“What would you do?”
Steve’s baritone was silk in your ear.
“What?”
You suddenly found that you couldn’t breathe.
“What would you do if you were here?”
“I’d kiss you,” you rushed out in a whisper.
Steve paused, letting your sentence hang in the air.
“And?”
There was an edge to the question.
“And… My lips. All over you.”
Fuck, he was hard. Just a few words in your husky voice, and Steve delirious, imagining his hands in your hair as you kissed him.
“Where?” he asked mercilessly, his voice broken with lust.
“Everywhere…your face, your neck, your nipples, your abs. Your cock.”
You were definitely not a virgin, but you were blushing through the phone although your hand was rubbing the skin at the edge of your underwear.
“Want you in my throat.”
Steve had to concentrate to stay hard.
“Oh? What if I want more than that?”
“You can have whatever you want...”
A sense of power flooded Steve’s body, both heady and intoxicating at your admission.
“You should be very careful when you make that offer, Peach,” he said softly.
“I trust you.”
Holy fuck. Why did that mean everything to him?  He cleared his throat.
“Touch yourself,” he ordered.
“Okay.”
You complied so readily, it made Steve even harder.
Your clit was so hard as you circled it.
“Are you wet, Sweetheart?”
You moaned and Steve reached into his sweats and curled his fingers around his aching cock.
“My pussy is so messy for you, Mr. Rogers,” you whispered, thrilled and afraid of how much you wanted him.
Steve rolled his eyes as his cocked jerked for you.
“Such a good little slut.”
“Fuck…”
You realized the breath you’d been holding as you listened for his voice.
“Your pussy is so beautiful Peach. And god, you taste so good. Just like a sweet peach.”
Steve knew he had you in the palm of his hand. But fuck, you had him in yours too.
“But your cunt is so tiny. I’m gonna needs to get you ready for me, Baby.”
“Is it going to hurt me?” you whined.
Steve was about to explode at your little innocent voice asking the most nasty question.
“Yes, Peach. It is,” he growled as your anticipation reached 100.
Your breath sped up and so did your fingers. Steve grunted, his fist moving faster, thumb swiping the copious dribbles of precum dripping from his slit.
He should have known it was over as soon as he opened your message.
Hot sex was happening.
Electronically.
As the coil in your belly wind tighter, you realized with both joy and dismay that you were addicted.
“Steve, “m so close…”
“Of course you are.”
Steve soaked up your cute little sex sounds, thirsty for more.
“You know what I’m thinking about, Doll?”
A shaky breath was your only response. Steve continued.
“I think I want to tie you up. Silk ropes all over you, pretty little knots. I’d tie your arms behind your back, so those tits would sit up pretty for me to slap, lick and suck. That ass would be tied up so sweet and open so I could eat it.”
Your eyes rolled at the sensations his words and your fingers were sending to your clit.
“I’d fuck your throat and cum all over that soft, sweet body. Over and over, while I tease your greedy little cunt. I want to see it drip down your delicious nipples, your belly, your hungry pussy, your pretty face. I need to see all of you covered in my cum. Everywhere, marking you as mine…Mine.”
You gasped, and then moaned and your entire body tightened up then released.
Your mouth hinged open as you came.
“Mine,” Steve hissed, tightening the knots around you both and jerking his cock until cum spurted out. He listened to your breathing and knew that you’d just cum as well.
Suddenly, he missed you.
“You good, Peach?”
You hesitated. You heard the yearning in his voice and you wanted to be in his arms, but you lied to him anyway.
“Yeah.”
Steve smiled at you. He shook his head even though you couldn’t see.
“Sweet dreams. See you tomorrow.”
“Night Steve.”
—---
You needed a distraction.
Steve looked so delicious this morning, sitting on stage and serving art intellectual in a dark turtleneck and brown corduroy suit. A suit that was tailored to the detriment of everyone who looked at him.
Holy shit.
This man was wearing a corduroy suit and he made it look damn good.
And he made you feral.
You decided to give your cousin a hard time to prevent yourself from becoming a simp.
“You look like that damn heart eyes emoji, ya know.”
She didn’t look at you as you yanked her chain. She just continued to follow Bucky’s every move and lit up when he glanced her way. She was gone, girl.
You teased her some more until you saw Steve. You sighed and gazed at him, straightening your spine as you remembered how he made you cum twice yesterday. And he’d hardly touched you.
As if sensing your gaze, Steve’s head turned. Those mesmerizing blue eyes locked with yours, and the rest of the world disappeared in an instant. For a moment, you were frozen. Pinned in your seat by his magnetism.
This feeling was so heady.
When you realized you’d been caught staring Steve down, you tried to change the unspoken subject.
“Bucky is pretty much the man.”
“Fucking-A.”
Her chuckle was all-knowing. Then she read you.
“Steve is the shit too.”
You couldn’t front anymore.
“He’s amazing. I had no idea about everything that he does. Have to say, I’m impressed.”
She was speechless and so were you. You both continued enjoying the forum when your phone buzzed.
You look beautiful today. You’re my favorite thing to study. Can’t wait for today’s art experience. Meet me at the Laguardia Place entrance immediately after the talk. Sunlight is precious.
You were his favorite thing to study!
You waited on the edge of your seat until the end of the summit. Then you were up and walking out toward the entrance post haste.
The hair on the back of your neck raised when you saw Steve watching you from the door of Rosenthal Pavilion.
His smile when you made eye contact knocked the breath out of your lungs.
In that moment, you realized that you were in love with Steven Grant Rogers.
Holy hell.
His deep voice greeted you as you arrived.
“I’m anxious to get started.”
Steve searched your face and found a different look from the partially closed off expression you’d showed him since Thanksgiving.
Your face was open and trusting. His heart did a funny thing in his chest. It was almost too good to be true.
Could you love him, too?
He tempered his mood with sensible words, filling the space that he wanted to fill with romantic declarations.
“I’m going to take you to my favorite artistic landmark in the city. I’ve loved it since I was a boy.”
You smiled up at him and took his hand.
“Let’s not waste any more time.”
—--
The driver that was taking you and Steve to your meeting place was the same one who picked you up from the airport. The one that your cousin knew so well.
You stared at the back of his head and then glanced over at Steve. He raised his eyebrow at you because of the look on your face. You grinned back, then leaned forward to tap the driver on the shoulder.
“So… Nico…”
Your eyes cut over to Steve with a mischievous look. His heart beat out of his chest at the joy you were serving him along with your chaos.
“You ever drive my cousin and Bucky around the city?”
Nico stole a look at you and smiled.
“Yes ma’am. All the time.”
“Do they ever do the nasty back here…?”
Nico laughed heartily as Steve shook his head.
“Peach…”
You shushed Steve.
“Hush, I’m trying to get the dirt. Now Nico, tell the truth…”
Steve sat back and listened to your unhinged behavior on the drive over to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. Your spirit and your laugh made him warm inside, despite the cold day.
—-
Nico stopped the car at the Washington Avenue entrance to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Steve got out, shouldered his backpack, and then reached for your gloved hand with his own.
For some reason, you felt like a princess as you stepped on the path. The air was crisp, and there were traces of snow lingering on the ground.
You came out of the car chattering and laughing, making Steve’s heart light.
“I know Nico wouldn’t crack, but I could tell from the way he went red. Those whores….”
“Literal Freaks,” replied Steve. “Bunny is an appropriate nickname for him, because he and your cousin…”
Steve shook his head and rolled his eyes, although he fantasized about christening the backseat of the Lincoln for you and him.
The wrought-iron gate creaked softly behind you as you entered the Garden, and you looked around in wonder as the gravel path crunched beneath your boots. A magnificent metal and glass structure was in front of you.
“This is the Steinhardt Conservatory. Wait until you see the inside.”
Steve smiled and took your hand as you stepped through the glass doors into sudden warmth shaking your head at him.
There was a heavy scent of flowers and a haze of the waning rays of sunlight beaming through the glass panels overhead. It gave everything golden highlights, including you and Steve.
You squeezed his hand as you looked around in awe.
“Beautiful,” you murmured.
And then you noticed that he was looking at you.
“Yes…”
You grew warm as you looked into his gorgeous blue eyes.
“It’s like a completely different world in here.”
“It’s our world for the moment. Just you and me.”
He wanted to add the word Forever, but he didn’t. You felt it though.
You started on an indoor path and Steve pointed out the unique flowers and plants in his warm baritone. You were impressed, again, with how much he knew.
Steve Rogers was not a stereotypical mobster. This was a man who followed a path in life that landed him where he didn’t want to be and was trying to make up for it.
As he spoke, Steve drew you into his enthusiasm, and you found yourself smiling and relaxing, asking questions and marveling at the vast indoor space.
When you came to a small alcove furnished with a wooden bench and beneath a sprawling magnolia tree, Steve stopped and took his backpack off his shoulder, and then taking off his coat and draping it over the bench as you did the same.
"Please, sit."
His voice was quiet, but there was no mistaking the subtle command.
You hesitated.
"Why?"
"So I can sketch you."
Your stomach did an odd little flip.
"Here? Now? I wanted to see your sketches, not be your sketches."
You performed on stage in front of hundreds with barely no clothes on and you were so nervous to let Steve Rogers sketch you with winter layers of clothes on. What was wrong with you?
Steve raised his eyebrow and his gaze swept up your body slowly, making you shiver. Clothes couldn’t stop the intimacy of that look.
“Too late for that.”
You raised your eyebrow at him and you felt irrationally happy. Steve had drawn you.
“Do you not trust me?”
You regarded him, guardian your reaction because you didn’t want to seem too eager.
“I do Steve. I trust you.”
It was true.
Steve smiled.
“Then please, sit down.”
You gave in with a sigh and lowered yourself onto the bench.
"Fine," you muttered. "But no weird artistic liberties. I better have a nose."
Steve chuckled, flipping open the sketchbook.
"I make no promises."
You watched as he proceeded to balance the sketchbook against his bended knee. Then he looked at you seriously, holding your gaze for a moment before his attention returned to the page, and his pencil began gliding effortlessly across the paper.
His thick fingers were surprisingly agile, moving with long, sure strokes. But then again, you shouldn’t have been surprised, with the way his fingers had previously made you feel…
For a few moments, the only sound was the soft scratch of his pencil against paper.
You attempted to sit still, staring at the plants around you. You also tried to pretend that you weren’t aware of the way he studied you with that relentless focus, switching his gaze between you and the sketchbook.
After a few minutes, Steve made a soft noise, something between a hum and a chuckle.
“What?” you asked, turning your head and narrowing your eyes at him.
“Nothing.”
He didn’t look up. But he spoke.
“It’s just... you’re trying so hard not to move, but you’re fidgeting anyway.”
You caught the hint of humor in his tone and it made you a little too happy again, so you decided to cause problems.
"Well, maybe if you didn’t look at me like that.”
"Like what?"
His lips curled into a knowing smirk, looking up at you quickly, then back down.
You fidgeted again.
"You know…"
Steve chuckled, deep and low and shook his head.
"Oh. Am I ‘sparkling my eyes at you again?’”
You scowled at him and he laughed.
“I'm an artist, Peach. I study form."
His eyes traced up and down your body, lighting you on fire again.
You clenched your thighs together to fight the flow of arousal threatening your thighs. This was dangerous. Steve was dangerous.
"You're insufferable, Steven."
“Well, can you suffer on a little longer, so I can capture more detail?”
You cocked your head in that adorable way.
“What details do you need?”
“I need…”
Steve looked at you like he needed all of you.
And he did.
“I want to capture the way your nose crinkles when you're annoyed, or how you're gripping the bench like you're about to get up and run.”
You unclenched your hands and sat back.
“You’re making me nervous.”
He tapped his pencil against the sketchbook. Then he looked down again to continue drawing.
"Interesting."
"What is?"
He licked those red lips of his and your eyes tracked the movement.
"The fact that I make you nervous."
The way he was looking at you made butterflies riot in your stomach. That special electricity was buzzing around you both.
Suddenly, his pencil stopped. Then, without warning, he reached out, brushing his fingers beneath your chin, tilting your face slightly.
You stiffened.
"Hold still," he murmured.
His thumb ghosted over the curve of your jaw and settled at the edge of your throat.
Your breath hitched.
Steve’s eyes were dark now and his voice was softer when he spoke again, but there was an edge to it now, hinting at something rough beneath the surface.
“You always do this?” he asked.
“Do what?”
“React like this when someone touches you.”
You pursed your lips together and shook your head.
Just you.
"You’re doing it again," he mused as he stroked the side of your throat with his thumb.
"What, Mr. Rogers?"
You were about to combust. He clenched his jaw and increased the pressure of his fingers on your neck.
"Fighting it."
"I- I don’t know what you’re talking about."
"You do," he intoned, his voice stern.
"Don’t hide from me, Peach."
Your pulse beat beneath his fingertips.
"You think I don’t notice how you react to me?"
Steve’s hand grasped your throat, pressing more firmly before he let go.
"Hold. Still," he murmured, those blue, blue eyes stormy.
His fingers tilted your face up with authority now. You froze for a moment as his thumb came up to pull your chin down to open your mouth.
“Breathe.”
He slowly pulled his hand away and you had to stop yourself from chasing his touch.
Steve clenched his jaw, trying to restrain himself. If he had to guess, you were wet and ready for him to do whatever he wanted to you right now. But he willed himself to be patient.
He picked up his pencil again, rolling it between his fingers, like nothing had happened.
"Good girl," he offered to the page as he returned to his sketch.
Steve knew what he was doing. Knew exactly how much he affected you. You waited impatiently, clenching your thighs together desperately as his pencil continued to scratch on the paper.
"Done," he said, as he lifted the sketchbook toward you.
You gasped as you looked at the page.
The drawing was stunning. Steve had captured you with uncanny accuracy, from the curve of your parted lips to the shading of the different colors in your eyes. The hollow of your throat seemed to pulse, and you could almost see the indentations of his fingers.
The portrait was beautiful. And it told you everything you needed to know about how he felt.
“This is… how can I thank you?”
Steve’s heart flipped in his chest as he reached out and grabbed your waist, pulling you toward him on the bench.
"Steve…"
His eyes went to your mouth.
"Say that again," he murmured, barely above a whisper.
Your whole body was burning, but you stayed quiet. You were paralyzed with the possibilities.
"No? Too shy now?"
His voice made you impossibly wet. If you gave in, you were about to get everything you didn’t know that you wanted. And that scared you.
You let out a shaky breath.
"Steve."
Something flickered behind his eyes. Something hot.
“Have I told you that I love the way you say my name?”
His hand came up again against your side, slowly, more deliberate. His fingers moved over the curve of your side, and slid against your breast, his thumb ghosting over your nipple.
He continued, tracing over your cleavage and finally landing against your throat again, pressing against your pulse and driving you crazy.
"You're shaking," he murmured, voice low, thick with need.
Then, without breaking eye contact, he leaned in and gave you a kiss against your throat. And he lingered, lips warm against your skin, before pulling back just enough to smile against your skin.
Your whimper told him so much.
"You act so tough, but you’re so easy to ruin."
You raised your arms and pulled him close, fingers playing at the nape clutching the hair spilling over his collar.
“You made me this way, Steve. And I don’t want you to stop.”
His now dark blue eyes searched yours as his fingers tightened on your waist.
“What does that mean, Peach?”
He’d pulled you closer, his eyes on your face as he waited for your answer. The anticipation was so much. He huffed and then dove into the curve of your neck, inhaling and tasting you there, as if he couldn’t help himself. His large hands palmed your breasts, pressing your nipples insistently.
“Oh…my….Steve!”
You squirmed in his grip.
“I asked you a question. Do I need to stop touching you so you can answer?”
“Please, no, Steve. Need you...”
You were the queen of changing the subject.
“Is that what you wanted to tell me?”
His lips were on the curve of your jaw, so close to your lips. You whined. He cocked his eyebrow, the question not so silent.
You huffed, making your decision to go for it as your hands came to the side of his face so that he knew your intentionality. You wanted to look into his eyes when you said it.
“Moment of honesty? I want you Steve. I feel…I want to be yours. Really been yours since you put your hands on me in Atlanta. I can’t categorize or control this feeling. So I’m giving in. Are you ready for the chaos that is me being yours?”
Steve’s eyes lit up and he reached for you, pulling you into his lap as his lips crashed into yours. His hands were everywhere. He tugged you closer as he kissed you and both hands came down to grab your ass and pull you onto his erection. His desire for you was apparent.
When you broke apart, you chased his lips and then kissed him again, greedy.
“I’ve been ready. Been yours for a while, now Peach. Since the day I saw you…”
His voice was gentle and he was looking at you like you were fine porcelain. You felt so safe in his arms. He pulled back to look you in the eye.
“And this feeling? This is exactly how it should feel when it's meant to be.”
He kissed you again and his mouth took possession of yours in a way that was tender, yet full of promise.
“I gotta let you know that if you’re mine, I’m gonna give you what you need. When you need it. Do you want that? Do you trust me with that?”
This was the important question.
“Yes, please. I want that, Mr. Rogers, sir. And I trust you.”
"That’s so fucking hot… but I’m trying to behave. Even though I reserved the pavilion just for us, we’re still in a public place,” he murmured.
His voice was calm, controlled. But those sea blue eyes told a different story.
"You call this behaving?"
You rolled your hips against his cock. Steve kissed you again and let out a sexy chuckle, then stood you both up, leaning down to whisper in your ear.
"If I wasn’t," he murmured, "you’d already be begging me for more."
You linked your arms around his neck and looked up at him as the cutest woman on earth.
“What if I don’t want you to behave? Like you said, you have the pavilion reserved. You can bend me over the bench and fuck me raw. Right here.”
Steve’s pupils took over his eyes and his jaw clenched. Your stomach dropped as he looked as if he was about to do just as you suggested. But he took a deep breath and smiled.
“We’ll explore that kink later. Our first time needs to be in private.”
Steve reached for your coat and helped you with it before putting his own on and gathering his things. He took your hand and led you out and across the grounds. He pointed to a familiar building.
“Your hotel is right there. Or do you want me to call Nico to take us to my place?”
You looked up at Steve as your breath vaporized in the cold air.
“We need my hotel. I’m ready. Right now.”
—--
You were in your room again, not entirely sure how you arrived, the journey through the park hurried and full of anticipation. You weren’t thinking too hard, you just knew you needed Steve. Immediately.
You were pushing his coat and blazer off his body and feeling his chest. The steady thrum of his pulse tapped a staccato in your palm.
“Your heart's beating so fast,” you whispered.
“You do that to me, Peach.”
“Really?” you questioned, suddenly unsure of yourself.
“You have no idea how much power you have, do you?”
“Me?” you asked in a small voice.
Steve nodded.
“You drive me crazy. I’ve never wanted anyone the way I want you.”
It was confession time.
“It’s you that has the power, Steve. I can't stop thinking about you. Your voice gets me there.”
You felt tongue tied as you told him your raw feelings, all the while taking off your and his clothes.
“Sometimes I — I think I'm going to cum just from hearing you speak. Today, at NYU, I could hardly sit still. You're like a drug, pulling all my attention.”
Steve’s shirt was off now and you were in your bra; he pulled you near him to get his mouth on you.
“When I'm near you, I'm so hard it aches.”
“Really?” you whispered. “Are you aching right now?”
Steve groaned as you pulled back to unzip your skirt and take off your boots. He leaned back against the wall and palmed his crotch over his pants.
“Like you wouldn't believe.”
Steve couldn’t believe that he had you here like this, giving yourself to him. He had to tell you the truth.
“Look at me, Peach.”
You looked into his eyes.
“I’m In love with you.”
His rough voice pulled an involuntary sound from you.
“You're mine, Peach You always have been.
Your breath caught in your throat and your heart thudded against yor ribs.
“Oh god, Steve. I- I love you too.”
Your smile blinded him. If he blinked it was because of that. Not that he was going to cry.
Not at all.
He laughed as an expression of joy and then your lips met.
The kiss wasn't soft or sweet. This was feral, sharp, and intense. You moaned into his mouth, sucking his bottom lip into yours as he unhooked your bra.
“I fucking want you,” you whimpered into his mouth.
Steve smiled against your lips.
“Good, cause I fucking need you, my sweet Peach.”
Steve stood, looming over you, all big and fucking magnificent. The vision of him, all lithe muscles covered in smooth skin, and light feathering of hair making its way down his torso, between the defined planes of his abs and into his waistband, was… Good Lord.
You licked your lips, mouth instantly dry.
Steve’s mouth hooked up on one side as his fingers worked his belt and fly. His pants fell in a matter of seconds, and there he was, wearing nothing but black boxer briefs.
Steve was all thick thighs, and long, powerful legs, his hand slowly stroking himself over the sizable bulge in his underwear.
You gaped at him.
Then, he pulled his underwear down, eyes on your face for your reaction. It was classic, your mouth hinged open and your eyes were like saucers. There was no way anyone could be that perfect.
His dick was long and wide, at least eight or nine inches, and curved eloquently (if a dick could do that) against his abs. It was so pretty and your mouth watered for it at the same time your pussy clenched, as you were thinking he was correct. You would struggle to take him.
His smirked deepened as he reached for you and pulled your panties down slowly, his short fingernails scratching your legs and making you shiver.
For a moment he just stared, drinking in the sight of you spread before him
“Fucking sublime,” Steve breathed, the words filled with reverence.
“I’m gonna ruin you for anyone else, baby.”
He leaned over you and set about doing just that, kissing you deep and filthy, tongue diving to claim every inch of your mouth. You cried out, scratching at his broad shoulders as he suckled and nipped, worshiping your breasts until you were mindless with sensation.
Steve took his time tracing your torso with his lips, teeth and tongue, learning your body and  paying attention to every sigh of pleasure as he climbed down your body.
The press of his mouth to your pussy made your back arch, and a ragged moan escape your mouth. Steve growled into you, the vibrations running through your soaked cunt.
He parted your pussy lips with his thumbs, and dove to lick your clit with the hot velvet of his tongue.
Slow, thorough licks made you writhe beneath him.
“That’s it,” he whispered, swirling his tongue around the sensitive bundle of nerves.
“Ride my face, Sweetheart. Fuck my mouth ‘til you cum all over it.”
You arched like a bow as he latched on to your clit and sucked, two thick fingers thrusting deep to stroke along your inner wall. His practiced fingers found your g-spot and massaged it ruthlessly, curling and scissoring until you sobbed his name.
“Love when you call my name, Peach.”
He looked at you like you were something to be worshipped, and then continued what he was doing. When Steve bit down gently on your clit, your orgasm crashed over you in a burst of white light.
You shuddered through the aftershocks, trembling as Steve lapped at your folds. Each lick sent a jolt of electricity through you, on the edge of too much.
Rising to his knees, the thick, heavy length of him rose up again, even more swollen and glistening at the tip.
Steve notched the thick head of his cock at your entrance and his eyes crossed as he slowly sank into your tight, dripping heat.
“Fuck, you feel so good.”
Inch after thick inch, he claimed you, stretched you, with a delicious push/pull of pleasure/pain. His length was one thing, but his girth was everything.
When he bottomed out, you both groaned at the intensity of the connection. He looked you in your eyes as your hearts pounded in sync, your breaths mingling as you got used to his size.
“I’ve never felt so full, Stevie…”
You quivered in his arms. And he knew that he was utterly possessed by you. It was more than just physical; it was an overwhelming sense of rightness.
“Perfect,” Steve rasped.
“So fuckin’ perfect, sweetheart. Like you were made for me.”
He dropped his head and trailed open-mouthed kisses along the column of your throat, pausing to suck hard at your pulse point.
“Please,” you whimpered, the ache between your thighs growing unbearable. “Move.”
“As you wish.” he whispered, brows knitted together.
You whimpered and your hands grasped the sheets as he started to move. He bent and sucked your nipple hard, causing a jolt of electricity through your body. Your brain was cloudy and you scratched his back as your eyes shuttered closed.
“Open your eyes, Peach,” Steve ordered darkly.
As he looked you in your beautiful eyes, Steve couldn’t hold back any longer. He started increasing his pace until he was fucking you roughly, pushing your knees to your chest.
“Yes.. feels so good Steve. Oh my godddddd, fuck me!”
Steve’s eyes roamed your body as he did as you asked. Your beautiful breasts bounced. The bed knocked against the wall and you gasped for breath, your face transfixed on the eye contact between you and Steve.
He was lost, one hand gripped your hair, and the other braced on the headboard. He fucked you hard, grinding against your clit with every stroke.
You were whimpering, on the verge of screaming as you two made noise up and down the hotel hallway.
He leaned up and grasped your throat, gritting his teeth as he asked a question.
“You want me to cum inside you? You trying to have my baby?”
“Unnnnnnghhhh! Maybe….”
You opened your eyes and pouted up at him.
“Paint my walls, Steve...”
Steve choked on air as he spurted hot cum into your welcoming pussy, but he pulled out, shooting the last jet of cum on your clit and pussy lips. Then, like a heathen, he bent between your thighs and started licking.
You sobbed, writhing as he devoured you.
“Need to eat you more than anything, my sweet, sweet Peach.
“Steve, Stevie… oh my god!”
You clutched his hair, tugging sharply. It was too much.
“Oh my God. Please Steveeeee!”
He raised his head, grinning as you fully collapsed, limp and spent. Your pussy was tender, your face flushed, your eyes gleaming.
You were beautiful.
You looked at him and shook your head as he took you in his arms.
“Are you mine?”
“Yes,” you whimpered out.
“I would die for you, Y/N L/N,” Steve murmured against your temple, panting. He held you tight, carding his fingers in your hair.
“I promise to keep you safe, and give you everything you need, I promise you that.”
“I believe you, Steve. I trust that.”
You and Steve stayed up late, ordered room service and talked about a lot of things, music, your parents, his friendship with Bucky, Nat, and Steve, everything.
You laughed and cried, and then settled back in his arms in the dark to sleep, his hand rubbing your hip as his breathing began to slow.
“Steve, can I ask you a question?”
It had been nagging at you for a while.
His sleepy voice answered you.
“Shoot.”
You chuckled.
“That’s just it. Have you ever… have you ever killed someone?”
Steve stirred, pulling you closer to him and moving his mouth next to your ear.
“Hmmmmm. I’d have to marry you before I answered that question.”
Your heart slammed against your chest and your eyes went wide in the dark.
“What?”
You tried to keep your voice even. You didn’t know what this feeling was that came over you. Steve continued, seemingly calm and not spiraling like you were.
“You can’t be compelled to testify against your spouse. It was a joke, Peach.”
You were silent for a good while.
“Oh.”
Steve stirred, leaning up against his elbow.
“Do you… are you saying that you want to get married?”
Steve thought about the ring that he had at his penthouse.
You laughed.
“Nah… what we looking like just up and getting married like that? We hardly know each other.”
“True. But when you know, you know.”
Steve kissed you and the small amount of logic in your brain was rapidly dissipating.
“Would it make us look crazy…?”
You could sense Steve’s smile in the dark.
“…Or would it be so beautiful?” He replied.
Steve wrapped you up in his arms and settled down again. Your mind spun as his breathing slowed to a steady rhythm and you spoke again.
He was probably asleep, but you had to get it out.
“If you ask me, I’m ready…”
The light switched on and you were staring into the beautiful blue eyes of Steve Rogers.

I’m so anxious about this one! Please let me know how you feel? Reblog, comment, like. TIA!

𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲 | You and JJ have always been in each other's orbit. He's your brother’s best friend, the guy you've known your entire life. He was kind, protective, familiar. You never meant for the two of you to start hooking up. And you never meant for it to last so long. But when this boy you thought you'd come to know like the back of your hand turns out to be no better than the men he'd warned you about, you find yourself in the sights of the guy he hates most, regardless of wether you want that or not.
OMG Bonnie what is that? A JJ chapter? Yeah, maybe I went insane. Likes, asks, reblogs, and comments are always greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance for reading <3
Tumblr media
JJ takes a slow step forward, his shoulders rolling back, his fingers still coiled tight around the handlebars of his bike. There’s a heat rolling off of him, a barely contained energy that makes your stomach twist.
His gaze drifts over to you. The rage burning through his eyes as he climbs down, drifting through Rafe’ arms, how they wrap around you, how close he’s holding you to him. – What’s going on, huh? – His voice is taught, barely restrained. You think of the hiss a rattlesnake makes before pouncing, the barely restrained violence simmering under each sound. – What are you doing here?
– I could ask you the same thing, Maybank. – Rafe hums. You call his name, trying to reel him back before it gets dangerous, but he seems entertained more than anything. – We’re a little far from the salvation army. Not much for you to do around here.
– Rafe!
The kook holds your hand to his chest when you push him, smiling down at you like it’s the funniest thing in the world. – I’m just having a little fun with him, that’s all.
– Get off of her, Rafe.
He’s looking at you with a focus that’s never a good sign, but don’t miss the way his eyes flick to where Rafe’s hand still lingers at your waist. The moment stretches, thick with the weight of his anger, but you can’t bring yourself to move first.
Rafe doesn’t bother hiding his grin. If anything, it grows, slow and deliberate, like this is the most fun he’s had all night. – Why? You scared she won’t come back when she realizes there’s more to life than being leeched off of by her brother’s friends?
– Rafe, this isn’t funny.
– JJ must think it is, it’s the only thing he does well. – Rafe drawls, tilting his head as he finally steps back from you—but not without dragging his fingers along your side, a pointed reminder. – Right, JJ?
JJ’s lips press into a thin line. His fingers flex around the handlebars, his nostrils flaring as he exhales hard through his nose. His gaze cuts to you now, sharp and demanding. – What the hell are you doing with this asshole?
His voice grates you. Every word echoing in your head like nails on a chalkboard.
– This is none of your business, JJ.
He doesn’t even pretend to hear you. – Kie told me what happened at work. We were all worried about you.
You open your mouth, but Rafe hums before you can speak, stepping in again, loose and easy, barely putting in effort but still commanding all the space between you. – Worried? Were you worried that you’re finally gonna have to get a job and deal with your own shit?!
– You don’t know what you’re talking about, okay?! Shut the fuck up!
– Or what? Are you gonna freeload off of me too?
JJ moves before you can stop him. His bike crashes to the pavement as he lunges, fists already clenched, fury twisting his face. Rafe barely shifts, like he’s been expecting this all along, like he’s been waiting for the moment he can finally push JJ over the edge.
– THIS SHIT ISN’T ABOUT YOU RAFE!
You step in fast, hands catching JJ’s arm before he can swing, your pulse hammering. – JJ, don’t. Fuck off. Don’t fucking do this right now.
– He’s the one who needs to fuck off! We’re talking right now, it’s none of his fucking business! – His breath is ragged, his muscles stiff under your grip. But Rafe just grins, smug and taunting, eyes alight with something dark. – Tell him to go away.
– You can’t tell me that yourself? Is that how much of a bitch you are, JJ?
JJ lunges, nearly pushing you into the asphalt by mistake. Rafe’s the one that catches you, his hand steadying you as you hold JJ back. – LET GO OF ME!
– JJ step the fuck back, I’m not even kidding you.
– He started it!
Rafe whistles lowly, laughing just under his breath as his arm wraps around you again. – Your brother really knows how to pick them, doesn’t he?
– Not helping, Rafe.
– I’m just trying to enjoy myself while you talk him down from his tantrum. I’m great.
– Stop fucking talking to her like that!
– Or what? You gonna hit me? – He muses, tilting his head, like the thought actually amuses him. – Go ahead, man. Take your shot. I bet it’ll feel real good.
JJ’s jaw tightens, his arm twitching under your hold. You can feel the war inside him, the barely restrained urge to throw that punch, to finally give Rafe the fight he’s clearly asking for.
But you don’t let go.
And JJ doesn’t swing.
For a second, the only sound is the thick silence between you.
Then Rafe sighs, exaggerated and disappointed. – Shame, – He mutters, stepping back, shaking his head like JJ’s let him down. – I was really hoping you’d play along, JJ. It’s been what? A week since you last got arrested? Has it ever been so long? I bet they’re missing you down at the station.
He flashes a grin at you, sharp and knowing, before brushing past, hands moving over your back like he owns you. – Y’know what, baby? We should really get going. I’m getting kinda bored.
– You’re out of your fucking mind if you think she’s going anywhere with you.
– JJ. – You warn, but he doesn’t seem to hear you.
– She came here with me, buddy. Maybe you wanna look around you. – He glances at you, blue eyes gleaming as he takes you by the arm. – C’mon. It’s getting late, right? Your brother’s probably struggling to figure out the oven right now.
– You don’t know what the fuck your talking about. – JJ growls.
– You’re gonna go home with this pogue? –The question comes out in a hum, almost condescendingly. His laughter thrills up your spine like a shiver of fear. – You’re gonna let him strongarm you like this?
You swallow, breathing in deep.
Rafe’s grip on your arm tightens, fingers warm against your skin, but you don’t move. His smirk twitches—just barely—before he tilts his head, watching you with curiosity, even if the smile he’s giving you doesn’t seem too pleased.
JJ notices too. He exhales sharply, barely holding himself together. – You’re not leaving with him.
His voice is low, coarse. And he’s clinging, moving his arms within your hold like a whiny kid. But it’s not a plea. It’s a demand.
Rafe hums under his breath, low and pleased, like this is all going exactly how he wanted. – She’s not staying for you, JJ. – He flicks his gaze over, like he’s looking at something stuck to the bottom of his shoe. – You have John B’s useless ass to thank for her not leaving with me right now.
JJ clenches his jaw so tight you swear you hear his molars crack. – Shut the fuck up, Rafe.
Rafe grins, slow and knowing. – I will if she makes me. Right, baby? Maybe you can give me a goodnight kiss before I go.
JJ takes a step forward, but you press a hand to his chest, stopping him. He seethes, nostrils flaring, but you shake your head. – Just go, Rafe. Please. – Your voice isn’t sharp—it’s tired, annoyed.
And that’s exactly why Rafe thrives on it.
He tsks, squeezing your waist in his hold on you before pulling his keys from his pocket. – That’s okay. We’ll have plenty of time for that tomorrow, right? – He leans in, voice dipping lower. – You can make it up to me.
You sigh, rubbing your temple. – Rafe—
– You’re cute when you get all flustered. – He laughs, tapping your chin with his knuckle. – I’ll call you later.
JJ lunges, and it takes everything in you to shove him back.
Rafe just whistles, all relaxed amusement, stepping back with an easy grin. – Damn, Maybank, you’re really gonna let her hold you back like that?
JJ is shaking in anger, chest heaving.
Rafe doesn’t wait for an answer. He shoots you a wink and a lazy salute before finally turning away, tossing over his shoulder, – Don’t miss me too much, baby.
JJ exhales sharply, shaking off your hold. His head drops for a second, his hands clenching at his sides before he looks at you, eyes blazing. – What the hell was that?
You swallow hard, the weight in your chest pressing down heavy. – JJ—
But he shakes his head. – Nah. No way. You don’t get to brush this off. – His voice is rough, disbelief coating every syllable. – Tell me you’re not— He stops himself, exhaling sharply again before taking a step back, shaking his head like he’s trying to make sense of it. – Tell me you’re not seriously falling for this shit.
You don’t know what to say.
Because maybe you don’t have an answer he wants to hear.
– Oh my God. – You don’t know what exactly in his face shifts, but you feel the air around you thicken. – You are, aren’t you?!
– Spare me the outrage, JJ. I’m not in the mood for your lectures.
– The guy is a fucking psychopath! There’s no fucking way you do’t see that! He’s insane!
You roll your eyes, a sigh falling from your lips before you can think of it. – You say that like you’re some sort of model of normalcy.
– I can’t fucking believe you!
– I don’t fucking need you to believe me, JJ. Clearly you fucking don’t. It doesn’t matter what I say, you already have your pitchfork ready! So what exactly am I supposed to be getting out of this?! Huh? Tell me. – A beat of silence lingers between you, as you turn your back on him. It’s long past 6 PM. The sky is pitch-black. – Can we just go? I don’t wanna do this.
You can see the gears turn in his head when you speak. His eyes soften, jaw unclentching. – I’m trying to look out for you. – You scoff. – Look, I know you’re stressed and all, but you don’t need to be taking it out on me, okay?! Chill out.
– Thanks, Mother Teresa. I feel much calmer now.
– Can we just put down the boxing gloves, right now?!
– I don’t know JJ, can we? I can’t put my guard down with you for a moment. Because that’s what you do. You tell me I should calm down, and when I do, you come up with some insane shit to piss me off all over again!
JJ watches you, chest still rising and falling like he’s trying to catch a breath that won’t come. Then his expression shifts—like something clicks into place, like he’s realizing something he doesn’t like.
His lips curl, his tongue running over the inside of his cheek. – Are you serious? – His voice is quieter now, almost disbelieving. – This is where we’re at?
You shake your head, swallowing back the lump in your throat. – I don’t want to do this right now, JJ.
– Oh, that’s rich. You don’t wanna do this right now? – He lets out a sharp, humorless laugh. – You wanna pick a better time? Should I make an appointment? Because it’s like you never have time for me these days! You’ll speak your mind, talk all the game you fucking want, but when it’s time to talk about my feelings, suddenly you’re too tired to deal!
Your stomach twists.
JJ scoffs. – You know, I keep trying. I keep trying to get through to you, and you just— He stops, shakes his head again, shoving a hand through his hair like that’ll help get rid of some of the frustration bleeding off of him.
– Trying to what, JJ? What is it that you’re trying to get through to me so much? That I can’t even talk to people while you go around fucking whatever girl you want? – The words come out before you can stop them.
– That’s funny, I don’t remember leaving with your mortal enemy!
– And I don’t remember kissing your best friend after leaving your bed, JJ. But here we are!
JJ goes still.
For a second, neither of you speak.
Then he exhales sharply through his nose, shaking his head like you’ve just confirmed something he was trying not to believe. – There you go again, – He mutters, half in laughter, half in scorn. – You’re insane. Like. You’re actually sick in the fucking head. You and Rafe are perfect for each other. Maybe that’s why you’re here right? I was too normal, so you got bored. And that’s why you’re here in the Country Club, fucking that psychopath!
You stare at him, heart still pounding, but there’s something else gnawing at the edges of your mind now—something off. Something you didn’t notice in the heat of it all.
The country club.
You’re not at your job.
You’re not at home.
You’re not even on your side of the island.
Your stomach twists again.
– JJ, – you start, voice quieter now.
But he doesn’t hear it, or he doesn’t care. He scoffs again, throwing his hands in the air as he turns away, pacing. – I should’ve known. I should’ve listened to John B. He always said you were fucking twisted! But leave it to me! It’s my fault or thinking you could act like a person for once!
Your pulse stutters.
You don’t even register his words.
You don’t remember telling him where you were.
Your job isn't anywhere near the Country Club. You didn’t text him. You didn’t call him.
So how did he find you?
Your skin prickles as you stare at him, the words barely coming out. – JJ... how did you know I was here?
– What?! – He laughs, like you’ve just said something stupid, but you’re not gonna let him do this. Keeping your face neutral, even while your blood runs cold, you repeat:
– How did you know where I was? – He looks at you for a moment, frozen in place. You don’t even see him breathe. But the thoughts run wild behind his eyes, his mouth hanging open, unable to keep up with the speed at which his mind is running. – Answer me. How did you know I was here, JJ?
– I— He swallows, looking between each of your eyes frantically. – I was gonna pick you up at work,
– At a quarter to seven PM? You know I get the bus. It leaves at 5:20. You know that.
– Why are you making a big deal out of this?! I was driving to the wreck and I saw you here—
– No you weren’t. The wreck is East. To get here, you need to be going West.
He’s quiet again.
– Are you following me? How did you even— Realization dawns on you. JJ and John had your phone all day after you left. The notification you saw when you finally got it back, was from your maps app, which you’ve never opened in your life. You pull your phone out of your pocket. The location is on, but you don’t remember activating it. You open your messages. The latest contact is JJ. But you haven’t texted him in days. The chat is empty. – You sent my phone location to yourself, didn’t you? You and John are fucki— Your voice dies within your throat. The hair at the back of your neck standing. – John doesn’t have my password, though.
– You’re acting insane.
– How the fuck did you figure out my password, JJ? It’s a thousand characters long. I expect that shit from Pope, but— You stop again, opening your settings. A second fingerprint is set there, next to yours. – What the fuck is wrong with you?
– Don’t turn this around right now!
– That’s rich, JJ! And I’m the one who’s insane?! You’re a fucking stalker!
JJ scoffs, but it’s different now—less angry, more… wounded. Like you just slapped him in the face instead of uncovering something deeply fucked up. He shakes his head, stepping back like he needs distance from you.
– Are you serious right now? – His voice is quieter, rougher. – After everything?
You stare at him, blood still thrumming in your ears. – After everything? JJ, you just—
– No, you don’t get it. You don’t fucking get it. – He lets out a breathless laugh, dragging his hand down his face. – I knew something was off. I knew you were pulling away. I knew you were sneaking around, lying to me—
– I’m pulling away because you’re messing around with Kie!
– I’m not! Baby, I— He’s slapping himself, pulling out his hair. – I was trying to make you jealous, okay?! I just want you to pay attention to me! But you’re either glued to your phone talking to Barry, or you’re around John B, doing everything for him, everything I want you to do for me!
– What the fuck are you talking about?! He’s my fucking brother, JJ!
– BUT HE DOESN’T DESERVE IT! – He screams, the vitriol burning against his lips like acid. – He was always horrible to you, and I was there! I was there! I wanted you!
– What are you talking about?! You’ve hated me since we were kids!
– NO! I— I wanted you to look at me. I just wanted you to—Please. Just look at me, okay? I don’t want you sneaking around with Barry or with Rafe, or whatever! I want you here! With me!
– Sneaking around—JJ, you broke into my fucking phone—
– Because you wouldn’t fucking talk to me! – His voice cracks on the last word, and it throws you for a second—because the anger is still there, but there’s something else now, something desperate. His hands are in his hair, gripping like he’s holding himself together. – Do you even hear yourself? Do you even care? Or are you just gonna act like I’m some fucking psycho and not the guy who’s been there for you? The guy who—who has wanted you since I was kid?!
Your breath catches.
JJ exhales sharply, jaw clenching like he hates himself for saying it, for letting it slip out in the middle of this.
– You were there for me. – He continues. – When your brother couldn’t be. When my dad started— When he drank. You remember that, don’t you? You took care of me. You always took care of me. John B couldn’t get that! Even if he tried, y’know, who knows, maybe he did! But he was always this golden boy! Your dad, he— He treated him like he could do no wrong— He’d never get it. But you did! You always got me!
You’re quiet. Because you remember.
You remember taking a beating for JJ the day John sent you there to give him his surfboard. You remember laying there on the floor, his dad pulling you by the hair, because you stood there while JJ ran. You remember the face he made when his dad threw you out.
How he fell apart in your arms.
How you remained there, holding him, as he bled through your clothes.
And it tears you apart.
Because the way he spoke to you before, is exactly the way his father used to speak to him.
– But yeah. Sure. I’m the stalker. I’m the crazy one. – He laughs bitterly, shaking his head. – You’re so fucking worried about me following you, but you don’t care that you’re running straight to him! – His eyes flash with something sharp, something dark. – You think he gives a shit about you? You think Rafe fucking Cameron isn’t watching your every move, waiting for you to fuck up so he can sink his claws in? Like Barry did? – He steps forward, voice lowering like he’s telling you some ugly secret.
Your heart jumps in your chest at the mention. JJ knows this is a low blow. – You don’t know anything about Barry and me.
– I know he hurt you. – He’s almost pleading. – He hurt you because you were with him, when you should’ve been with me.
– JJ—
– I did this to protect you. Let me protect you. Like you protected me.
There it is. The flip.
You feel like you might faint.
JJ exhales shakily, his fingers flexing like he doesn’t know what to do with his hands anymore. The anger is fizzling out, but what’s left is somehow worse—smaller. He looks at you, really looks at you, and suddenly it’s like all the fight drains out of him.
– I can’t keep doing this. – His voice is hoarse, barely above a whisper. He shakes his head, eyes flickering away like he’s embarrassed, like you’ve just torn him down completely. – I don’t—I don’t know how else to prove it to you. How else to make you see that I just wanted to keep you safe.
His shoulders drop. He looks exhausted.
– But you don’t believe me. You won’t ever fucking believe me, will you? – He laughs, but it’s hollow, broken. – It doesn’t matter what I do. Doesn’t matter that I would literally die for you—Jesus Christ, I would, and you don’t even fucking see it. I’d do anything for you, and you’re just standing there, looking at me like I’m a fucking monster.
You open your mouth, but nothing comes out.
– I mean—fuck, what am I supposed to do? Huh? – His voice cracks. His eyes are glassy now, but he swipes a hand over his face before anything can fall. – You want me to apologize? I will. You want me to beg? Fine. – He laughs breathlessly, shoulders shaking as he sinks down onto the curb like his body just gave up. – I’ll fucking beg.
Your stomach twists.
– Just— he exhales, hands clinging to your hips. – Can we go home? – His voice is so quiet now, so defeated. – Please. I don’t wanna fight anymore. I don’t wanna—fuck, I don’t even care. Just let me take you home. That’s all I want.
He looks up at you, and for the first time tonight, he looks fragile. Worn down. Like he’s carrying something too heavy for him, and the only thing keeping him from collapsing is you.
And God help you, part of you wants to believe him.
– JJ. – Your voice is sharp, but your hands are shaking. – This isn’t about that—this isn’t about you wanting to take me home. This is about what you did—
– I know! – he cuts in, his breath coming too fast, too uneven. His hands fist in his hair, like he’s trying to hold himself together by sheer force. – I know, okay? I fucked up, I fucking know— He stumbles over his own words, gasping, like the weight of it is physically pressing down on him. – But I can’t—
His voice breaks.
– I can’t lose you over this. Over Rafe fucking Cameron and his bullshit.
The air between you shifts. Something inside him just collapses.
– Please. – His chest is heaving, his eyes wet, his whole body trembling like he’s about to snap. – I don’t—I don’t know how to make you stay. I don’t know how to fix this. – His voice cracks again, and this time, his knees buckle.
You barely have time to react before he’s falling into you, grabbing fistfuls of your clothes, his breath hitching against your belly. His whole body is shaking.
– I’m sorry. – His words spill out in a frantic, broken rush. – I’m so fucking sorry. Please—please don’t go. Just—just let me take you home, baby, please—
His arms tighten around you, like if he holds on hard enough, he can force you to stay. And God, you shouldn’t. You should push him away, make him listen, make him answer for this.
But he’s crying.
JJ Maybank—loud, reckless, impossible JJ—is sobbing into you like a little kid, like he’s breaking apart right in front of you.
You inhale shakily, your hands hovering before you finally give in, falling before him on the ground, wrapping your arms around him, pressing your cheek against his hair.
– It’s okay, – you whisper, even though it isn’t. Even though nothing is.
But it’s all he wants to hear.
JJ exhales sharply, his whole body collapsing into yours with something like relief. – Don’t leave me.
– I won’t.
And maybe you mean it.
Maybe that’s the scariest part.
You let him fall apart against you, his body wracked with silent tremors as he clings to you like a lifeline. His breath is uneven, ragged, hot against your skin, and his fingers fist into your top, desperate, like letting go isn’t an option. He presses closer, his whole body sinking into yours, like he’s trying to disappear inside you, like that’s the only place he might be safe.
And you let him. You hold him as his shoulders shake, as he fights to keep from outright sobbing, as the weight of whatever broke him presses down so hard you swear you can feel it, too. He’s unraveling in your arms, piece by piece, like he’s been holding himself together for so long that the second you touched him, he lost the strength to keep pretending.
So you kiss the top of his head, soft but steady, and something in him shifts.
JJ exhales, a long, shuddering breath against your skin, like you’ve reached inside him and pulled all that tension from his chest. His body, wound so tightly, begins to loosen—his grip on you eases, but only enough for his hands to smooth over your back instead of clutching desperately. He leans into you now not just from pain, but from something quieter, something softer.
You feel it in the way his breathing slows, in the way the tremors start to fade as your fingers trace slow circles over his back. His arms tighten around you again, but it’s different this time—not frantic, not desperate. Just… needing you. Needing to be here, against you, in your warmth, in this small, quiet moment where he can finally let go.
His face stays buried in the crook of your neck, and when he speaks, his voice is hoarse but steady.
– I’m sorry, – He murmurs, again and again, lips moving against your skin.
You shake your head slightly, your fingers still stroking his back. – It’s okay.
And maybe for him, it actually is. Maybe just for a moment, with your hands in his hair and his body wrapped around yours, he feels something like peace. He doesn’t let go—not yet. He holds on, reveling in the comfort you offer, pressing into you like he never wants to leave. Like you’re the first real breath of air he’s had in a long time.
You stay like that, until the silence grows too heavy and you sigh. – We should go.
JJ doesn’t argue. He pulls back slowly, blinking, his eyes still red-rimmed but calmer, softer. His fingers linger at your waist before he finally steps up, exhaling like he’s reluctant to leave the space you created for him.
The drive is quiet, with him pulling your arms tighter around him everytime he gets the chance. You don’t protest. For a moment it's almost comforting, sitting on the back of his bike, without a word being spoken between you. But the feeling sits there, in your chest, that shiver you got when you realized he’s been following you.
It's not just caution.
It's not strangeness.
It's fear. A real, tangible fear of what he did, of what he can still do. Of what he might have continued doing had you not realized it. —It curls up around your throat, that fear. Pressing against your windpipe. You almost struggle to breathe.— You remain there, arms fastened around him as he slows down, pulling the brakes just before your house, even when he finally stops.
JJ leans back into you, breathing deep, clutching your hand to his chest, his body completely relaxed against yours. You’re still wondering. Mind still running.
How long had he followed you for?
Had he been trailing you? Close behind, just out of reach, or had he stared at your location, waiting, watching you without seeing you?
You don’t know which is worse.
– John B’s with Sarah tonight. – JJ mumbles, his head thrown back against your shoulder, the ends of his hair tickling your face. – I saw him sneak out. He’s probably gonna sleep there. – You hum, not really sure of what to say. – Pope and Kie are gone too. – His thumb brushes over the back of your hand slowly, his voice growing deeper, lower. – It’s just the two of us now.
You don’t say anything.
You don’t know what to say.
JJ looks back as you throw your leg over the other side of the bike, and climb down. He still clings to your hand like he’s got you on a leash: you have to remain there as he pulls the key from the ignition, as he sets his things in the top-box, as he leans back against the seat, pulling you in for a kiss.
You meet his mouth briefly, close-lipped, his fingers interlocking with yours as he pulls you in for another, and another, and one more. – I missed this. – He whispers, eyes barely open, already leaning in again.
– It’s been two days. – You remind him, but JJ only laughs.
– Two too many.
You don’t resist when he pulls you closer. His hands find your hips, sliding beneath the waistband of your jeans, calloused fingers pressing into the small of your back like he’s trying to mold you against him. He kisses you again—deeper, messier, his breath warm and tinged with something desperate.
JJ doesn’t just want this. He needs it.
That's what you like about him. He takes like he can’t get enough. He begs, and he grasps and he clings and he needs you like he needs air to breathe.
His hands are restless, traveling up your ribs, down your waist, over your thighs, like he’s trying to make up for lost time, like touching you might steady him, might ground him. But it doesn’t. The more he touches you, the more insatiable he gets. He’s humming against your lips, sighing into your touch, a little frantic, a little unsteady.
You pull him inside, but JJ can’t seem to break the kiss. He takes your hands to the hem of his shirt, tugging impatiently, his lips dragging from your mouth to your jaw to your neck, pressing open-mouthed kisses to your skin between whispered pleas.
– Touch me, – he breathes, his voice cracking like the weight of everything is still right there, lingering beneath the surface.
Your fingers slip into his hair, threading through the strands, and JJ shudders. He melts against you, knees almost buckling as he exhales a sharp, shaky breath.
– Fuck, – he mumbles, almost laughing, giddy and drunk on your touch. He’s clinging to you now, pressing his body into yours, murmuring against your lips, deeper, please, until you give in, kissing him the way he wants. The way he needs.
He moans softly, hands gripping your waist, pushing your top up just to feel your skin against his palms. He’s lost in this, lost in you, smiling against your mouth in that dazed, breathless way, like nothing else exists beyond the way your body fits against his.
Like everything is fine.
Even it isn’t, not really.
You lead him to your room, kicking the door behind you as he falls back on the bed, tearing his shirt off of him as if it were burning. He doesn’t even give you the time to think before he’s pulling you on top of him.
You try to guide him through the motions, letting his hands explore, letting him pull you closer, letting him bury his face in your neck, all while your mind is somewhere else. Detached. Floating.
Because underneath it all—beneath the heat of his mouth and the weight of his body and the way he pleads for you like you’re the only thing keeping him from falling apart—there’s that feeling.
That cold, creeping thing at the back of your mind.
That fear.
It wraps around your throat, pressing tight, squeezing, reminding you of what he did. Of how long he must have followed you, watching, waiting, just out of reach.
Of how much worse it could’ve been if you hadn’t noticed.
JJ doesn’t see it. He doesn’t feel it. He only sees you, only feels your hands, your lips, the comfort he’s so desperate to take from you.
– I missed this, – he murmurs again, voice slurring slightly, hands still moving, still searching. – Fuck, baby I missed this so much.
You swallow hard, exhaling slowly, before finally answering.
– I know.
And you let him keep touching you, let him revel in this, let him have this, because maybe if he does, he’ll calm down. Maybe if he does, you’ll feel safe again.
JJ exhales against your skin, his body completely unwound, pliant beneath your hands. – Take it off. – He groans, hands shaking against his breeches. – Take it off of me, baby. Please. I just want you to be on me. I need it. Please.
You don’t need to be told twice.
He watches, almost breathless while you strip him bare, moaning at every touch, hips bucking every time you brush against him.
That doesn’t last long though.
It isn’t enough that just your hands are on him. So he drags you onto his dick, still clothed, and he grinds himself into you, eyes rolling back.
There’s something raw about the way he touches you—like he’s savoring every inch, like he’ll be going through withdrawal unless he doesn’t hold on tight enough. His fingers dig into your sides as he pulls your hips into his, his laugh breathy, almost delirious.
– God, I fucking love this, – he mutters against your shoulder, his hands slipping beneath your top, his thumbs brushing lazy circles over your skin.
This.
Not you—this.
The warmth. The closeness. The way you let him touch you, take what he needs. – You love this too, right baby? Your hips— He moans, head thrown back when you roll your hips against his cock, the fabric of your jeans giving just the friction he needs to work himself up. – You're so fucking good at this.
You squeeze your eyes shut as he kisses up your throat, his lips tracing familiar paths, his breath hot and unsteady. He hums when you card your fingers through his hair again, pressing into your touch like he’s melting from the inside out.
He's getting wilder, humping you with this reckless abandon he never seems to shake off. But you can see him unraveling. Just the friction isn't scratching the itch.
He needs more.
– Take it off, baby. Please. Please. – he sighs, voice catching, eyes blown out. – Fuck, give it to me. Just ride me.
You hesitate. Your fingers still against the nape of his neck. The sounds he makes, strangled, anguished. Like he’s going mad.
You actually hear him whine when you lift your hips, and his hand flies down to palm himself while he watches you pull the jeans down.
He tilts his head up, catching your mouth again, dragging you deeper into him. His hands slide down, gripping the backs of your thighs, pulling you closer until he's practically in you.
But you don’t let him sink in just yet.
It's more fun when you drag it out.
When you move against him, teasing him, watching him twitch and moan and plead with nothing but the wetness, the softness, the warmth.
There’s a slow, creeping sickness curling in your stomach.
Because you’re leading this. Because you know what he needs, and you’re not quite giving it to him. Because you’re letting him press closer, letting him unravel, letting him forget—for just a little while—that anything is wrong at all.
And a part of you wants to forget too.
It feels good.
It doesn’t matter what he did, what he would do, because he needs you. He can’t get enough of you. He won't leave.
– Please. Please. – He repeats it like a mantra, writhing beneath you, clutching you so fucking tight. His hips go rogue, bucking wildly. – Please let me fuck you. I need to fuck you. Please. Fuck, I can't take this anymore!
The laughter that falls from your lips almost seems to stoke the flames.
He groans out loud when tip pushes into you, and for a second, his entire body just collapses against yours, heavy, needy.
Then his hands slip under your bra again, tugging at the fabric, his breath hot and desperate against your skin.
– Let me see you, – he murmurs, voice thick, rough. – G-Go ahead, baby. I need you to move. Please.
You pull back slightly, meeting his gaze. His pupils are blown wide, his lips kiss-swollen, his expression open in a way that makes you ache.
JJ wants you. That much is obvious.
But more than that—he wants to disappear into you.
To sink into your warmth, your touch, your body, and let it drown out whatever’s eating him alive from the inside.
Your stomach twists.
His fingers have long stopped tracing slow patterns against your ribs, now he's bruising you, nails digging in, shaking, waiting. Pleading.
You could give him what he wants. It would be easy. So, so easy.
But for the first time since this started, you wonder if you should. – And who said you deserve that, JJ?
– Huh?
– Because with the way you talked to me before, I don’t think you do. – You move, just slightly, and he folds, back arching. – I think you’re gonna have to convince me.
– Please. Baby, please.
– You think I'm pathetic. – You tsk, your hips rolling so slow his eyes flutter when they roll back. – I'm not the one who’s begging, though.
– Please! – He's screaming now, and you’re moving faster. The bed creaking beneath you. – I need it! Faster, baby. Faster!
He's splayed out, a puppet with the strings cut loose, yet he's anything but relaxed. You can feel him tensing, hands fisting the sheets so tight his knuckles have gone white.
He screams.
Almost yelping when you start going at the pace you know he likes. And it still isn't enough. He still grabs your hips, pulling you closer, and closer, again and again, banging against that soft spot within you like it's the only thing that can relieve him from this torture.
And you let him.
You ride him like a bronco, as if he’s trying to fuck you off instead of closer. As if he isn't begging for it. Screaming for it. – MORE, BABY, PLEASE!
You want more too.
At some point you lost yourself in trying to punish him, and it started to feel good. You're biting him, teeth dragging against the skin at the crook of his neck, the spot that always makes him shudder, that always makes him writhe.
Your nails have mapped half his body over.
He's red. —His face, his eyes, his lips, his scratches.— He’s gasping. Shaking. His whole body trembling, his eyes rolling back. You can’t even make sense of what he's saying anymore.
The only thing that leaves his mouth are these incoherent pleas, these oohs and aahs that make you laugh, humming to yourself as you ride into your orgasm, feeling him fall apart.
– F-uck, fuck! Don’t stop! Feels so fucking good baby, so fucking good! – He pushes it in faster, but it's still not enough. He needs more, he was going mad! Grabs you by the waist, tosses you on the bed, rutting like a wild dog, head thrown back, eyes rolling upwards. – Fuck! Fuck! Feel s-feel so fucking good!
All that was heard was your laughter, the pleased little gasps that escape your mouth as he fills you up over and over and over again, animalistic and heaving, laughing as well, but out of his mind, completely overwhelmed by the pleasure, by the building release. He crashes against you, once, twice, getting careless. But by then he couldn’t hold it in. More! More! is all you heard from him.
And then you felt it.
His body shudders all over again, still rutting like his life would end. – God. God! I need to cum— fuck! I need— I need— Keep going! Don’t fucking stop baby, don— FUCK! FUCK!
You felt him coat your walls, white, hot, and endless. By then, you were shaking as well, the waves of your own climax washing over you as you arch against him.
He collapses over you, trembling and crying as he smiles, moaning your name in that shaky, adoring voice, eyes clinging to you in utter joy as he pumped lazily, through your climax and his, he still needed more of you. – It won-won’t stop. Fuck, there’s so m-much of it. – Laughter. Yours, his.
Your mind is blank.
He's heavy, heaving, still inside you.
JJ's breathing is ragged, each exhale a shaky whisper as he remains, still there, still trembling with the aftershocks. His hands wander aimlessly across the sheets, his body warm and heavy, as though he's been consumed entirely. His eyes are half-lidded, unfocused, and a soft whimper escapes him as he reaches for your hand.
– Baby... can you...? – His voice is slurred, broken, as if he’s still caught between the pleasure and the exhaustion of it all. His hand gently tugs at your wrist, his fingers brushing against your skin. – Just... touch me. Please... softly.
There was that, too.
He was always sweeter when he was done.
You give a soft, reassuring smile, your fingers gently grazing his messy hair, pushing the strands out of his face, pressing a gentle kiss to his forehead, lingering for a moment before you speak in the same soft, soothing tone. – I’m here, JJ. I got you.
He hums in response, his eyes fluttering closed, a content sigh escaping his lips as you run your fingers through his hair, the action slow and comforting. – I’m... Fuck— Laughter buzzes against your skin as he presses his lips on you again. – I'm never getting used to this... I’m not used to this, – he mumbles between shaky breaths, his hand coming to rest on your arm, the weight of his touch grounding him. – Feels... too good. I need you to... keep me close. Just... just a little longer.
You hate the way your heart skips.
But you love the way he says it.
The way his voice brushes against your skin when he pleads, so softly, so sweetly. Like he could never do you harm.
You shift slightly, pulling him into your chest, the warmth of his body a constant reassurance. His hand rests over your heart, the frantic pace of his pulse now slowing, but his face is still pinched with that lingering tension, a mix of exhaustion and need for reassurance. He lets out a soft groan as you press your lips to his temple, whispering, – I’m right here. You’re okay.
His breath evens out, and as the minutes pass, you keep stroking his hair and kissing his head, each kiss lighter than the last, until his body relaxes fully, his grip on you loosens. – Love you.
You feel yourself tense up.
It’s not the first time he says it.
But it might be the first time you know he doesn’t mean it.
Still you smile down at him anyway, pressing another gentle kiss to his forehead before whispering back, – Sure you do, baby. Go to sleep, okay?
He doesn’t need much encouragement.
JJ's never been easy to tire out, but when he does, it's immediate. His ear is pressed to your chest, to your heart, and you wonder what kind of dreams he’ll be having with that soundtrack, but it doesn't take long for his breath to even out.
The house is quiet.
Completely so.
And though you're glad John wasn't there to hear it, laying there, without his snoring to lull you into even halfway into reality only means that it crashes against you like a bucket of cold water a soon as JJ is out.
The day dawns on you, as it has done several times, but still the loathing blooms in your chest and spreads through your body faster than your mind can process.
You're broke.
You're jobless.
The girl you thought was your best friend is a snake.
The boy that's sleeping on you is a stalker.
Your best prospect right now is famously the most spoiled and volatile person on the island. That, because your best friend, the person that could actually get you out of this, has faded away after abandoning you, and you have no idea if he’ll even come back.
What's funny is that this is the thought that hurts you most —Not that you're unemployed, that your now previous boss could ruin you forever, that your relationship with only family member is as unstable as your financial situation, or that the people you thought you could trust don’t care about you— that Barry is gone.
Something he has been plenty of times before.
You lie there in the stillness, the weight of JJ's body pressing against yours. The sheets feel too warm, too much, a world you can’t find a way into. JJ’s steady breathing is a lullaby of sorts, pulling you toward the edge of exhaustion, but it’s not enough to quiet the thoughts tumbling relentlessly in your head.
Barry's absence gnaws at you —You know he’s not gone forever, not really. Or at least you hope so. He’s done this before, pulled away just long enough for you to convince yourself it doesn’t matter. And yet, it hurts like it does. Like it’s different this time.
You turn your head to glance at him—JJ, still sleeping soundly, unaware. His face is soft, the usual edge to his features dulled by exhaustion, but even now, with him so vulnerable in your arms, you feel the invisible distance between you grow. He’s a comfort, but only in the way a warm blanket can make you feel safe when the storm is too loud. And it is too loud. So loud you can barely breathe through it.
Your fingers trace patterns along his skin, but it’s absent, mechanical—the world outside the room, the boy in your arms, the life that’s slipping from your fingers, and the ghost that won’t stop haunting you, and you don't even know why.
Barry.
You know, deep down, that it’s not about him being gone. It’s about the fact that, despite what JJ has just tried to convince you of, Barry actually is the one person that was there for you.
When your father went away, he celebrated with you. When he was declared missing, he comforted you, even if you said you didn't care. Even if you didn't even know you needed it.
And maybe that's the problem: He saw you better than you saw yourself. He knows you. Really knows you.
But does he now?
So much has changed in two days.
You can’t even tell yourself it was real anymore because everything you thought you knew about him, about you, is shifting—becoming something else you can’t identify.
There’s no way to put a name to it, though, is there? That dull ache you’ve learned to live with. Not quite loneliness, but not contentment, either. Just an empty space where hope used to live, and you're so used to it now that you don’t know what it would feel like to fill it.
You let your gaze fall to JJ again, watching the way his back rises and falls with the easy rhythm of sleep. Maybe this is it—this is what you have now. A boy who doesn’t even know what he’s asking for when he whispers his need into the quiet night. And you, too tired to push him away, too lost to turn to anything else. You can almost convince yourself it’s enough, and for a second, you do.
But then, Barry’s face flickers in your mind again, like a ghost.
You wonder, just for a moment, if you would’ve been able to say anything if he were here. If you would’ve told him how much you needed him to help you, how much you needed him to be here, not just physically, but with you in the way that only he ever did.
But he’s not here.
And you’re not sure when he will be again.
The buzz of your phone slices through the silence. You freeze. What's the likelihood that he would call you right then, when you needed him most?
You slide from under JJ, and he grumbles, hands reaching for you even deep into sleep, but you don’t see it. All you see is the unknown number flashing on your screen amidst the darkness, and your heart races as you bring the phone to your ear. – Bee? – The word falls from your lips almost fearfully. You don’t want to know where he's been, what he's doing, or how much of what he had to take to call you like this, in the middle of the night. But you’re impatient to hear his voice, you just want to know if he's okay. – Bee, is that you?
The line scratches softly, the familiar sound of skin whispering against the microphone echoing in-between the two phones. Your pulse thrums against your ear. – Not bee. – You finally hear. – Are, actually.
– “Are”? Barry, what are you talking about? What did you take?
– It’s not Barry, baby. – The edge of his words resounded even through the distance. Pleased, but not quite satisfied. – It’s Rafe.
You let go of a breath you didn’t even realize you were holding.
– Oh, “R”. Okay I got it.
He chuckles, a long, breathy noise. His breathing is heavy. – Did you put the cry-baby to sleep or is he still up whining?
JJ turns in his sleep. His arm, still lying, lax, over your lap shifts, and he pulls himself closer, brow brushing against your thigh. – JJ is… gone.
– Good. Thought I was gonna have to call CPS or some shit. – He scoffs, turning, in bed, you gather, since you hear the squeak of furniture.
– How considerate.
– Well, baby, I'm nothing if not considerate. – He hums. – What are you doing awake?
Regretting your life decisions, pondering the benefits of suicide. – Thinking of you. – It was meant to be a joke, but it didn’t sound like one as it slipped from your lips.
There's half a second of silence from him before you hear that laugh again, like you shocked him.
Rafe Cameron was shocked.
That's definitely a headline.
You can almost hear the smirk on his face. – I was thinking about you too, baby. What are you wearing?
You scoff, almost rolling your eyes. – Rafe.
He laughs again, even breathier. – Sorry. Was that too soon? – His bed creaks again. – You don’t seem like the kind of girl who needs a lot of foreplay.
– Hilarious.
– I was really hoping you'd give me a taste of what you’re wearing tomorrow, though.
You look down almost unconsciously. The only thing covering your skin is sweat. – Definitely not what I'm wearing right now. Unless you're hiring for a job other than personal chef.
Rafe’s quiet again. He moves around. You can hear him breathing. – Maybe I am. What kind of job are you thinking?
– Well, aren’t you the little hiring agency? Should've met you before. There’s some things on my resume I'm definitely not proud of. – He laughs with you now, though there's something strange in his tone. – Did you talk to your governess, or that other guy you said you didn't know the name of?
– Did. We'll be waiting for you.
– Well, you call and I come. – He laughs at the double-entendre, another noise escaping his lips. – What time should I be there?
– How's 10 AM sound?
– Perfect, Rafe. Thank you. Again, really. I can’t thank you enough.
– You're welcome, baby. You really are. – He groans, the bed creaking. JJ moves around again, his head on your lap, hands around your knees, and he mumbles something unintelligible. – What was that?
– Sorry, uhm. Just… thinking out loud.
You swallow, but Rafe doesn’t miss a beat. – And what are you thinking about?
– About… What I'm gonna wear. – Improvising was never really your forte.
Rafe hums, a long stretch of the M, then something smaller, a sound you can't quite catch. – That skirt. – He sighs. – The blue pleated one.
You pause.
– What?
– It's pretty. – Is all he says, then a groan, or a purr. The phone falls on his pillow, you can hear it scratch against his skin as he moves. But the way he says it, as if he’s seen it a thousand times in the two days you've known each other, as if he can picture you wearing it right in front of him. – Fuck, baby. You’re so pretty.
The compliment grates at your ears.
How does he know your clothes?
You think of the skirt. Your blue pleated skirt. It's been ages since you've worn it. It's way too short. You’ve outgrown it a while ago. – What else, baby?
– Hm?
– What else are you wearing for me?
His bed creaks again, over and over, and he doesn’t say anything for a minute, he just sighs.
– I, uhm. I don’t know. – What even is this conversation?
– Far as I'm concerned you don't need to wear anything. You can come— He laughs, low and unsteady, a strangled “yeah” cutting through the word. – Come as you are.
You feel a trickle of repulse run down your back. You don’t wanna talk to him anymore. You don’t want to talk at all.
– Talk to me, baby. – He groans, again.
– I, uhm. – You kick the nightstand, the noise echoing loudly around your room. – Shit, uhm. Sorry, that's my brother. I'll see you tomorrow.
You kill the line before he can say anything else.

"I just don't like the way he's looking at them,"
Cater looks up from his cup, and the foam heart he was trying to snap a pic of melts into his latte.
"You can barely see his face. And you've said that like, three times," the ginger says. "You've barely even touched your mug. It's basically iced coffee now."
Trey finally looks at Cater, his neck sore from craning over his shoulder.
His mug is cold to the touch.
"I'm starting to think you only invited me here 'cause you knew the Prefect was coming. Like, ouch," Cater smiles.
Trey's face flushes red. "What! No, I-I just thought the shop had a good deal today,"
Cater rolls his eyes.
"As much as I love drama, this is lowkey sad," he says. "You need to move on, Trey. It's been months."
Trey knows he's right, which makes his observation hurt even more. He mumbles some poor excuse into his cup of lukewarm coffee, but he can't keep his eyes to himself for long.
"He definitely goes to RSA. I don't trust him," he mutters, eyeing the boy you're with.
"Che'nya goes to RSA, doesn't he?"
"Would you trust Che'nya with your ex?"
"Yeowch. Point taken," Cater smiles, stirring his untouched latte with a dainty spoon. "So, what are you gonna do about it?"
Trey hesitates. He would have loved to just... march over there and steal you away from that pompous bastard...
But he won't.
"Nothing,"
"Pfft," Cater snorts. "You need to be more assertive, man. Otherwise we're just stalking the Prefect. Yeah, that'll impress them."
"It's not about that!! And it's not stalking!"
Cater rolls his eyes and returns to his phone, the uninvited third wheel of every outing with him.
Still, his words bother Trey. That was the problem, wasn't it? He just wasn't... assertive.
He didn't take your side, or stand up for you. He wasn't there when you needed him most, the fool. That's why you dumped him.
If assertive is what you want...
Trey stands, surprising Cater to the point of putting his phone away, and he marches across the coffee shop, brow furrowed, arms firmly at his side. The RSA boy you're with sees him first, and then you.
"Trey? What are you-"
"You," he says, pointing right at the white-uniform wearing, silver-spoon sucking little bastard.
Your jaw drops. The boys' eyes widen (does he look familiar or what?) Cater pushes his chair out, as if preparing to intervene.
Trey takes a deep breath.
"You... you treat them right, do you hear me? Prefect is the sweetest person I know, and they deserve someone just as perfect! Listen to them, okay? Be the person they can rely on, they can trust... the person I- that I wasn't. Just- you'd better be a good boyfriend, or I'll make you regret it, alright?!"
Cater sits back down. Both you and the boy you're with seem to soften, more confused than concerned now.
Trey turns and marches back to his seat. "Let's go,"
The ginger grins and looks behind him. Trey follows his gaze, and it's... you.
"Did you follow me?" you demand. His face goes bright red.
"Uh... um, I... yes. But I only wanted to make sure you were okay. That's... all I've ever wanted,"
Cater gives him a double thumbs-up. You frown, and he mutters a quick "I'll go wait outside" before darting out the door. Trey's blush darkens to crimson.
"Listen, I'm really sorry I interrupted your date. I just wanted to make sure you were being taken care of, and-"
"Trey," you stop him. "I'm not on a date. And that's not my boyfriend."
Huh.
...What?
"Oh?"
You sigh, gesturing between the two. "Trey, Neige. Neige, Trey," and you lower your voice. "I'm here on Vil's behalf. Some movie thing."
Ohh. That makes sense. Trey's face only gets redder, if possible, and he clears his throat. "...My mistake,"
Your frown softens, and you sigh.
"You couldn't have known... and... thanks for worrying about me, I guess. Maybe next time we can talk in private?"
Next time. Trey's heart flutters at the promise, if he dare call it that, and he nods.
"A-ah, of course. Next time,"
