I keep trying to pair El'la up with someone but I can't find anyone they mesh with romantically (originally made them for Dorian, tried them with Josephine, then remade them in Origins for Zevran, mentally head them up next to Nathaniel... nothing). However, El'la is incredibly close to Shale so I'm kinda toying around with the idea that they follow her to the deep roads post-canon despite being instructed not to.

Perhaps after a time they return to the surface together for various other adventures that are less likely to get El'la torn limb from limb.

In my head they've got some sort of deep platonic connection going on so I think they'd want to stay close to her 😊
