It’s hard to believe I haven’t seen my step kid in over a year. I drove 6 hours today to pick them up and they’re here for just the weekend, day after next I’m driving 6 hours again to bring them home but it’s worth it ;___; I’ve missed them so much, talking online just isn’t the same. I’ve already gotten answers to all my burning questions that they won’t really talk about via text and I’ve been SO curious about their life and how things have been going as they live independently for the first time as a young adult 🥲 I knew I’d get more detailed answers in person and have not been disappointed.
