General 2-4; Story 5, 10, 11, 14, and 17; Romance 1, 3, and 9; and 12 free space: a field banter with a character of your choice (hard(?) mode: not Astarion) for Amity!! (You can...pick and choose from these if that's too many, lmao)
under a cut because long
General 2. Do the other companions have special comments or reactions upon recruiting your Tav? i imagine she's recruited doing something silly/is at least somewhat in peril – stuck on the edges of the swamp behind some traps that seem to keep popping back up whenever she turns around (the redcaps are fucking with her), or caught in a web under the goblin village bc her pod crashed nearby and in her haste to not be seen, she fell thru the rotting floorboards and now she's stuck and she could burn the webs away but honestly it's a miracle that the bigger spiders haven't been drawn to her yet and that seems like a recipe for disaster, so uh, help please?
so i think more practically-minded companions – lae'zel for sure, astarion, maybe shadowheart – wonder aloud about how useful she could be, given how they've found her; the first two maybe remark that it would've been better to leave her there to figure it out for herself, lmao.
wyll, karlach, and gale are a bit more sympathetic, and karlach just wants to pick her up and squeeze her like a lil teddy bear.
3. Does your Tav have any comments or advice when you recruit other companions? if you recruit her before astarion, she is livid on your behalf if you fail the perception roll and end up with a knife at your neck. she has incineration on her mind, like gale; unlike gale, she's too mad to be articulate: "if they don't walk away from this, neither will you."
she loves karlach right away. tiefling solidary is strong, and she knows devils well, and this is definitely a (pretty) tiefling and not a devil. she strongly advises hearing karlach out and helping her; she's extremely sad if you choose to fight and kill karlach instead. big disapproval hit there. don't fuck with tieflings.
if she's in your party when you recruit gale, she doesn't say anything, but you quietly get a few points of approval if you slap his hand before rescuing him
actually wait there would be one reaction. if your party is full when you reboot Gail and he says he'll go back to camp and get started on stew, amity goes "fuck yeah, stew!!!"
Tumblr media
4. What sort of general actions raise or lower their approval?
goody-two-shoes choices tend to net approval with her, no surprise there. tho honestly i think with amity, you'd be getting little 'amity approves!' notifications all the time, but then find out that they're mostly just +1s so even tho they can trigger often, it's hard to build high approval just with that. you get bigger approval for harder choices, naturally, and she does favor being good and kind, but it happens a bit less often.
you can talk her into giving approval even if you decline the Extra Good and Generous option, as long as you present some logical/practical reason for it – sorry amity, helping tieflings is nice, but think about how many of them will die if we're too slow to remove our tadpoles and we all transform into mindflayers; greater good and all that, right?
…and you get approval when you do dumb, chaotic, fun things. like. you jump down the pit in the spider cavern without feather fall, and after withers revives you, amity says "that was very ill-advised, but in the moments before you splattered on the ground, it looked like a lot of fun!" and you get +10 approval.
you also get approval points when you're rude to/make fun of raphael or mizora, lmao. amity blatantly disrespects any devil lower than, like, a kyton in the hierarchy of devils.
for specific actions, you get +10 approval for killing aunty ethel, even if you fuck up saving mayrina. fuck hags, all amity's homies hate hags. and also i think every single companion disapproves if you smear shit on your face when trying to get into the goblin camp, but y'know what? amity thinks that's very practical. fuck dignity, it avoided a fight, and she respects that. now hold still, she'll prestidigitate that off of you as soon as you turn the corner.
Story 5. How do they react to the Player Character taking their first tadpole power? she's a little horrified, but primarily at the idea that you willingly put that in your eye?? ouch?? and are you sure there's enough room in your cranium for another one of those suckers?? she does, however, ask that if you plan to do it again – not that she advises that, mind you! – that you let her watch and take notes. she promises to do her very best to suppress her gag reflex if you do.
10. How do they react if the PC licks the dead spider in the Gauntlet of Shar? "oh! wow! that's – um. was that… good?" devnote: no part of her believes that could've been good.
in response to a second lick: "oh, wow. are you okay? blink twice if you're ensorcelled and need help. no? it couldn't have been good enough to be worth it. …could it?" devnote: said in a tone which indicates almost enough curiosity to try it for herself.
11. What do they say if the PC tries to force them to go up on stage with Dribbles the Clown? honestly, she's fucking delighted, she loves circuses and clowns.
"really? me? are you sure you don't want to go up there instead? dribbles really knows his stuff, you'll be missing out! but okay, if you're sure!"
she's so excited that she's wiggling the whole time she's on stage. +5 approval at least.
14. How does Tav react to the PC becoming a mind flayer?  Can they offer to become one themselves?  Does their reaction change if they’re romanced? the theological implications of the soul being destroyed in the process of becoming a mind flayer are… concerning – if the soul is gone, how can one ever be sure that the person isn't gone, and that the tadpole isn't just assuming the memories and characteristics of its former host?
but. the player character is her friend! (and maybe her partner, but either way – her friend!) and friendship is sacred! she's not going to let some tentacles get in the way of that!!! she's just sorry that you had to go through this, but you're so brave and kind for doing it – you've done the hard part, leave it to her to support you through this!
(a later bit of dialogue you might get is "hey, we match now – we're both purple! c:" )
as for herself – she'd want to take some time to think about it bc it is Not a decision that she'd be excited to make, but… honestly, what's lil' ol' her worth when compared to the entirety of the sword coast? so yeah, she'd volunteer herself, if need be.
hey, don't feel too bad – she was only gonna make it maybe 40 if she's lucky, the way she keeps throwing herself into danger. hell, she's technically already died once already! and her soul was likely bound for the wall of the faithless when she died, so what's it matter if this destroys her soul now, right?
(this is not going to help her self-esteem issues AT ALL – people might distrust tieflings, but they REALLY distrust mindflayers – but She Will Do It)
((if you're romancing her and ask her to become a mindflayer and break up with her, she isn't even mad. she gets it. if you still want to be with her, she full on cries. says you don't have to do that, there's a better path for you out there; it's a whole thing.))
17. If romanced, how do they react to the Dark Urge trying to kill them in Act 2? i will be fully honest here: despite only doing like 10 minutes of a dark urge run so far, i get the impression that most companions… do not take the dark urge particularly seriously. even if the dark urge is upfront about everything and full on confesses "hey, i crave murder, i'm pretty sure i've done lots of murder before, and i want to do more murder."
amity would. she'd be tossing out suggestions on what to do and trying to get everyone on board – and if she couldn't sway anyone pre-alfira, she gets very serious about it post-alfira. everyone takes turns being on watch? they set up the alarm spell around the dark urge? …little bells on their ankles?
so i think in a sense she'd be prepared. she'd have to believe that the dark urge isn't in control of themselves in order to keep going after alfira, so therefore, she believes that whatever urge is driving them is both very powerful and likely to crop up again.
…unfortunately, amity Needs Sleep. she functions poorly on less than optimal sleep, and once she IS asleep, it's very difficult to wake her up and she gets combative if you try. if the dark urge tries to wake her up to warn her, they need to make a dex save to avoid either a fire bolt or a stray fist thrown their way. (it's okay if they fail tho, her aim isn't great when she's sleepy and she only has 9 strength.)
dark urge has gotta get thru her grumpy-at-being-woken up phase before she's even close to coherent enough to understand what's going on, but when they do – she's ready. as ready as you can be for something like that, anyway.
"you – now? shit. okay, we can handle this, we can – hand me my bag, i've got materials for a warding spell in there. you good long enough to find somewhere private, or does it need to be now-now? –shit, clearly it's now-now, okay–"
dark urge wakes up and she's all smiles. "hello, dear heart! you went down pretty quick, had me worried! slipped a pillow under your head, but your noggin might still be sore in the morning sorry. oh, not up for a chat? that's alright! i'm here anyway! :)"
i think some of her encouragement would be drawing on gleeful spite –like "hey, think about how pissed off this urge is gonna be that you've managed to fight it so far – i bet it's livid, haha. and look at you, you're managing it anyway! i knew you could do it; you're doing so well!"
and then she sits at the ready, telling silly stories of ways she's fucked up on adventures or of neat things she's seen until the dark urge is able to sleep
she's lightly dozing when they wake up but she's mostly sitting up – it's clear she's tried to stay up and keep watch all night.
as she dismisses the wards, she throws some suggestions at them – consistent alarm spells around their cot at night? her knot-tying is pretty good, they could rely on that each night if spells don't seem like enough? well – no, that's not how she meant if, but if that's how you take it, she's not necessarily opposed to… wait, we're discussing important business here, save that for later!
and she passes them something from her bag and it's a sending stone. "annnnnd if you feel like there's something you need to tell me but you can't say it out loud for whatever reason, or if I'm not there, though honestly how often does that happen – well! this'll give you a direct line to me, even without the tadpoles :)"
sending stones as a gesture of love yet again (also she never travels anywhere without at least one set of sending stones on her. she has learned how valuable they can be)
Romance 1. Is your Tav a romanceable character?  Are there any specific requirements to romancing them? i think she would be, but it would be sloooooow going. so slow that players aren't always certain that they're correctly triggering it at all, damn it, where'd that guide go?
you've got to get her to be genuinely vulnerable with you, which is. difficult! she has self-esteem issues. and self-image issues. and she has issues with touch – simultaneously touch-starved and touch-repulsed (thanks a lot, hag curse, for fucking up the progress she'd made on that). she wants to be with someone, but oh, gods, is that frightening.
you have to tread carefully with her. lay it on too thick, and she thinks you're fucking with her (or just being nice, but either way, she believes 0% of it). gotta build a LOT of trust first. honestly, her friendship path and her romance path would be absolutely identical for at least the first act. sleeping with someone at the party wouldn't lock you out of that – you go have your fun! she's going to creep away soon for some air. it's lovely that everyone is having fun, but it is a bit overwhelming. but no, don't worry about her! …no really, don't worry about her, haha, she's definitely not going to slip away while you're not looking because she's having another bout of insecurity.
you just have to talk to her a lot, and not be too mean – it doesn't even put an end to things if you're a little mean, bc hey, that can be kind of funny. but, y'know. don't shut her down. she warms up to you fast on a surface level, but you have to give her time to actually open up and not be so skittish.
3. Are they a polyamorous or a monogamous option? she'd happily agree to either, honestly! she has Experienced Love for more than one person at once, before, but she feels no pressing need to seek that out for herself; as for the player character, i think she'd want a bit of reassurance that anything else they seek isn't bc of dissatisfaction with her, but then she's open to it, whether or not she herself is involved!
bonus; a field banter with a character of your choice  post-waukeen's rest –
amity: wyll! wyll ravengard! wyll: that is what I've been called a time or two, yes. why? amity: i can't believe i didn't recognize you before! you've changed some, sure, but even still! wyll: had we met before? i'm sure i would have remembered you. amity: not exactly! more like… occupied the same circles? i was too shy to go to all those fancy parties as myself; once we'd made it past the entryways, i usually hid away, or disguised myself with a spell, if i couldn't find anywhere secluded. wyll: ah, a shame – i think we would've gotten along famously, you and i. amity: i'd like to think so! anyway, i got myself… banned from all of those events after some particularly unwelcome hijinks, so it only lasted a little while.  wyll: banned? there was a time when little wyll would have been dying to know how to do the same; i never could manage it. always dragged along to every meeting and soiree father had to attend. what exactly did you do? amity: ah – a lady doesn't kiss and tell! they may consider me too uncouth and unkempt to be much of a lady, but even i know that! wyll: now i must know.
and later –
wyll: potions of fire breath in lady edmonton’s mead.  amity: uh-uh. wyll: frogs in the central fountain.   amity: not me.  wyll: otto's irresistible dance on the younger lord laurier? amity: gods, i wish, he was always such a prick – but no.  wyll: it was quite funny to see him flop about. let's see… replacing lady belmont's prized panther with a displacer beast? amity: did someone do that? really? i missed that one. and i'm pleased you think i would have been able to manage that.  wyll: stealing the left shoes of all attendees while they say for a feast? amity: no – well. i don't think so, anyway? sounds like something i would've done. so maybe. possibly. probably? but that's not what did me in.  wyll: hmm… [snaps fingers] the chandelier! amity: yes, you've got it! wyll: ha, i knew i would, eventually. amity: ...i do feel bad about that one, honestly, i really thought it was going to hold up against a few swings.  wyll: from what i'd heard, it did not.  amity: it did not.

TOTALLY SPIES → KARGO
TAGGING → Margo Vasilovich & Karmen Inka (@karmeninka)
TIMELINE → Mid-January 2020
SETTING → A bookstore in Auradon City
SUMMARY → Margo and Karmen let curiosity get the best of them and decide to spy on Carter and Hadie’s first date.
This was maybe the dumbest thing they'd ever done, but Margo didn't care. She'd dressed in black jeans, a black shirt, black boots, a black scarf, and dark sunglasses nearly an hour before she was supposed to meet Karmen, and she'd camped out in the back corner of the bookstore, in a spot with as much visibility as it had cover. By the time Karmen arrived, there was still thirty minutes or so until Carter and Hadie were supposed to get here on their stupid date, and she couldn't take the waiting anymore. It was driving her completely mad! She wouldn't second guess herself, though, or leave. She'd put too much thought and planning into this, and she had to see it through. It was going to kill her, seeing Hadie enjoying himself with someone else, but she just... had to see it for herself.
"They might end up having an awful time, right?" Margo whispered to Karmen quietly as the seconds ticked closer to date time. It was selfish to hope it, but a part of her still did, more than anything. She had just turned towards her best friend to see if her face would tell a different story than her words when the bell at the front of the store chimed open, and her head snapped to attention. "Crap, they're here!" she hissed, ducking her head down behind a shelf so that they wouldn't blow their cover the second the boys walked in.

What was your process with Jesse, then? And Miranda?
*trembling sobbing crying* There was supposed to just be a running gag where the Fuchsia Ninja would crop up inexplicably from time to time, similar to the movie but more frequent (and then he'd help out the ninja at one specific point in Season 2)........but THEN:
the whole thing with the Elemental Compass was devised (as that didn't even EXIST until after the first story was completely posted), so I had to then flesh out the Element of Surprise which has spiraled into characters like Mystake and Harumi as we know now, and then figuring out how that would manifest into an actual user of that element (i.e. his magic tricks)
I then thought if I could turn Olivia into a full character, why not do the same thing with the Fuchsia Ninja? So then I devised his name, his "secret" identity, tossed him in with the high schoolers, and initially planned to use him to help bridge any loose gaps between Show!verse and Movie!verse that couldn't be naturally resolved (hence why he has a copy of the Elemental Compass itself and why'd he's kinda Captain Exposition at times)...and then he grew a personality. And I was like. Ohh no. I adore this nervous dramatic fool. What have I created
....and then. AND THEN. The day for writing Chapter 6 came...I STRUGGLED with SO MANY drafts on how to make this work. Nelson getting bullied by the Cheer Squad was on one draft (and Jesse was initially gonna be like Nelson's babysitter), Nya was going around as a "Rainbow Ninja" at one point, I juggled through every combo of Ninja to go on this mission before landing on Nya and Cole because it made the most sense, and Mystake's parts weren't even a THOUGHT until the last second (because I realized I wanted a less bizarre way for Lloyd to get the Map of Dens, and could use this as foreshadowing for later). But then, to spice up the fight with the generic Shark Army thugs I was like.....we could sprinkle some lore here.......we could put the Fuchsia Ninja here...that could be a fun....surprise....
............................and then I was writing all their interactions during the fight. They've all got some hilarious friendly chemistry. And. Then. My. Silly. Little. Foolish. Brain. whispers to me in the heat of the moment: "What if...Wouldn't it be funny if the Fuchsia Ninja had a crush on Cole?" ha. Funny. Just something for a small, amusing laugh every now and then. I would never actually ship some pink/purple OC with Cole? That had already been done countless times, and probably better! Imagine being so uninspired. Ha. hahahaha. Ha.
...But it was too late. The seed was planted. The flower was blooming. The daydreaming started. The ideas and scenes and possibilities and the development became clearer by the day. The ship was SAILING...well, eventually. It was sailing in my heart, and that was enough. I just had to pace myself with it...and my god I now see why no one writes slow burns anymore JUST HUG
AAAAAAAaaaaaannnnnnnd from there that blew up Jesse's character arc (as in, MADE IT BIGGER). More backstory was born that helped me flesh out what was already there, a history with Wu was devised, a family blossomed to support/intimidate him, goals, motivations, fears, imperfections, insecurities spiraled into existence from just the single act of this lil' blorbo falling in love...! Suddenly all of his character beats fell perfectly into place! Divine intervention took my hand and dragged me forward in full force! Jesse Marvell became a character and he was here for the long haul! And I've never looked back *-*
...now, as for Miranda, I...can't quite remember when she popped up as a concept, but I'm pretty sure it was because I needed/wanted someone to keep Jesse in check. Such as:
keeping Jesse from being too OP with his powers (because she's studied his powers extensively, she can anticipate them more than most people. Hence, Jesse struggles to surprise her easily, so he's near powerless whenever he's in her vicinity unless he gets really creative)
to help keep his character/personality from falling into the horrible, horrible trope of only being about his "pursuit" of Cole (which I'd...like to think I'm doing okay with especially for my first real Oc x Canon ship but I don't trust my hands—they're just so LOVELY—augh—!)
Giving him some extra motivations for his character, as we've seen the tip of the iceberg of in Ch40. I think I mentioned this before, but Miranda's related to why he doesn't fully have his True Potential. So. Um. There's that to look forward to~
Unrelated to Jesse, she also exists to help fill Nya's vacuum via her becoming a ninja much, MUCH earlier (similar to Bridget for Olivia's personality tweak as I mentioned in the other post), especially in Season 3. She's one of the Techies too, but she specializes in software and data organization, thus she can't actually engineer anything, but she loves streamlining the interfaces/UI/software for the things Jay invents or keeping Zane up to date internally. (This also leads her to have a small rivalry with Pixal).
...Except all this kind of made her a tad sueish in turn soooooooo...I dropped a building on her. And then that blew up her character arc. (Prosthetics, baby!!! But now she can smack people around with her own arm, so like, who's really coming out on top here?)
...buuuuut then I was like "no wait I can use this" because if she's kind of always been "easily perfect", that also feeds into Jesse's jealousy/envy of her (because he struggles just to reach the bare minimum at times) and then that loops back into his guilt for letting her get hurt under his watch and then that loops back into annoyance at how she's thriving anyway and then he feels guilty about feeling like that and I oop—
(Thus, her biggest character flaw becomes being almost entirely oblivious to just how much she affects Jesse...and other people. But Jesse especially. Primarily because she's still so young. But still. And my god is that a fun heart-wrenching train wreck to watch).

Little knifefish
Omegaverse
Omega! Tamaki Amajiki x Alpha! Reader
No warning, just alpha and omega dynamics
It did not come to you as a surprise that the shy hero was not an alpha. Not at all. You've been observing him since the moment you joined Fatgum's agency for internship, even before you two were formally introduced. Which was a while ago, considering now you worked there full time as pro heroes. However It still left you feeling amused that not only Tamaki was not an alpha, he was not a beta either. No, he was straight up an omega. Which is very admirable to you. An omega Hero, especially one this shy.
However 'amused' was the very polite way to put it. Knowing he was an omega stirred the alpha inside you to flood your mind with such unholy thoughts at the worst possible moments and it was such a pain in the behind since you've barely managed to befriend the boy enough not to stutter while talking to you.
In your defense it was a whole other task to get him to speak at all, it was rewarding though. You enjoyed his little perky excited moments when he talked about his favourite book or band, then he'd flush and ask you about yours, then he'd look interested no matter what you replied.
The situation right now was no different. He had told you about his 'big secret' not only a week ago and now You were walking nonchalantly besides him on patrol, shooting him soft smiles when he glanced your way while the alpha inside was grumbling and groaning like an intolerable brat to 'make a damn move!'
It wasn't like you were hopeless, he had clearly trusted you and you two were close enough that he came to you with what troubled him. You were a close friend, what was bothersome was that you didn't know if he wanted to be more and didn't dare bring it up in fear it would shatter your delicate friendship.
What had been troubling him recently was concerning for you too. He had told you how some other heroes from another neighboring agency had seen him when he had to take his suppressants. Simply said, they've had figured out he was an omega. You tried to assure him that it was okay being who he was and that he was such an awesome hero, didn't matter alpha or omega. Despite the fact that inside you were dying to know what he actually smelled like without those suppressants.
Unfortunately for you not all alphas saw omegas the same as equals. Rounding a corner inside a mostly deserted alleyway, you two met another patrol that was not supposed to be there. Assuming they were there early you didn't care as you walked towards them but slowed down immediately when you sensed something was off. You glanced at Tamaki curiously looking all tensed up and fidgety then at the other 2 that had closed the distance between you by now. Then it clicked. You stopped staring them down as they did the same to you before turning their attention back on him with stupid grins. "Hey there little omega." Tamaki almost visibly flinched. "Aw don't be shy now, lil' shrimp. We actual heroes don't hurt little omegas."
The uneasiness was radiating off of Tamaki in waves and it was affecting you heavily as you let a low growl slip past your lips. The two of them turned their eyes on you as well as Tamaki who looked at you with surprised wide eyes. "Oh c'mon now, you are one of us! We are the same (L/N), right?" You raised an eywbrow. As much as you wanted to personally knock these idiots down a few notches you had a way better idea. You smiled at them "yes, we are." Tamaki blinked a few times not believing what he heard you say until, "and all 3 of us are inferior to the hero he is." They stopped grinning by then "is that a challenge?" As pleasantly surprised as Tamaki was, god did he wish you had not said that second part. "Yes, He can make your quirks look like simple child play. Right here. Right now." Or this part. "What will we get since we are definitely winning this?" At that Tamaki actually walked away to stare at the wall and try to shut the 3 of you out. You felt bad for doing this but it had to be done once and for all and you were there to see it done properly. "You get to be the jerks you are to the 2 of us. If we win, you will forever shut up about omegas being inferior in hero work. And you will both apologise to Tamaki." They shrugged smirking smugly "sure, hot shot. Let's see what he's got." You nodded and walked over to Tamaki who was now rocking back and forth on his tiptoes as he faced the wall looking gloomy. Kinda cute...
You put a hand on his shoulder and felt a twinge of pain in your heart since he flinched ever so softly, but didn't shrug your hand off. You turned him to face you and grabbed his other shoulder making him look at you in the eyes terrified. Ouch. The alpha wanted nothing more to just hug and spoil the distressed omega in front of you. But now was not the time. "We've got this in the bag 'Maji." You said your voice soft and velvety. Comforting. He stopped rocking but looked as unsure as ever "I can't just go against 2 alphas! What have you done (y/n)!..." he whispered. And. Pouted. You were on the verge of taking him away from there right now but you held back. "You will beat them. I've seen them before in action. One has a simple electric shock quirk, you've had eel as lunch didn't you? He is nothing. You can repel his electricity. If not just immobilize them with your tentacles." He listened the whole way, then shook his head "but!.. I... can't..." you moved your hand from his shoulder and cupped his cheek stroking your thumb over it lightly "you've faced villains you knew nothing about and you 'could' with no problem. This is just a friendly challenge... well one that if you don't we will probably need to slave around for them for a while." You sighed. He looked at you quietly for a few moments. He could not have that happen. He didn't mind being bullied by those two but the idea of them bullying you around. Because of him none the less. He took in a deep breath and nod his head walking over towards the 2 leaving you in awe with a slightly open mouth.
The two did fool around and threw a bunch of taunts but it was over for them unbelievably fast. For the most part he was glad for your hints, repelling the shock that was sent his way and immobilizing the other guy with it. The part where he sprout 2 chicken wings and soared towards the other one to wrap him up in tentacles was purely on him. 'Show off.' You smiled to yourself as the two apologised to him and scuried off with their tails between their legs. You stood there watching Tamaki's back as he watched the 2 leave unmoving till they were out of sight. "Well hero you just saved both our butts." he turned to you the biggest grin on his face beaming as he practically hopped over "did you see that?! They apologised! I won!" There it was. One of his cute little outbursts that you knew would be your doom one day.
Before you could think properly you grabbed him by the collar and pulled him in, crashing your lips against his.
His eyes widened, face flushing instantly as he went rigid for a second. But just as you were about to pull back ready to beg for forgiveness on your knees, he parted his lips, his tongue timidly licking your upper lip before sucking on it gently, a soft little hum escaping him, making you blush in return. The tips of his ears turned bright red as he pulled back looking to the side nervously "I... didn't know you felt like that (y/n)..." he tried to play it cool attempting to make it less awkward. The attempt failed as this new sweet scent started filling your nose and numb out all the rest. His sweet scent. You smirked and his breath hitched as you backed him into the opposite wall leaning close to him with your hands on either side of his head "is that so? Well I've been feeling 'like that' for a while now. What about you?" He tried escaping your eyes but you ran your fingers on his jaw tilting his chin to look at you. "I feel... the same..." he almost squeaked out doing well holding your intense gaze "I'm so happy to know that." You smiled and for once the alpha inside you felt a little more appreciative. You leaned in again kissing him on the lips as your fingers trailed over to comb through his hair gently, letting your finger tips massage his sculp. It made him moan quietly and part his lips for you, this time you slipping your tongue past them, tracing his teeth before venturing deeper into his mouth, tugging very lightly on his hair to pull him closer to you. Feeling something touch the side of your hip quite roughly, you had to stop and pull back, the action drew a quiet strangled moan out of him, and you wanted to ravage him right then just hearing that. He seemed to have the same plan cause the sight of his tentacle fingers slowly wrapping around your waist and hooking into the waistbands of your pants was what you were met with as you looked down.

Pokemon au!
Another Ducktales AU! Shocker!
Welcome to the inevitable crossover! There are three versions of this (trainers, human trainers, and reverse gejinka) but we'll just focus on the human trainers first because I'm not comfortable with showing my Ducktales drawings yet! This is just for fun and not definitive. I'm going to be doing this like a real adventure! We'll be following the triplets as they travel the region of... Americaw... Sure, we'll go with that for now.
I want this to be a story in many parts. I also want all their adventures from the cannon to be here as well, except it's just the kids facing them most times. Like let's say all the battles are monsters and baddies they've actually fought in cannon. That would be fun!
Oh, let's bring characters into the mix. Let's say that Webby is the boys' rival and best friend. Violet is also their rival but on a slightly lesser scale(mostly to Huey). Boyd also becomes a rival of sort later on(mostly for Louie). So that only leaves Dewey, and to be honest, I'm not sure. I think Webby would be his biggest rival but he doesn't have a secondary rival. I might just make my own rival for him too be honest, but I wish I knew who to put that's around his age. (Also, I realize Boyd is Huey's best friend but Violet is literally his rival in an episode.) I already have an idea for Lena so I can't add her to the rival crew anyways.
Let's talk about the Duck family.
So I decided it would make the most sense if Della and Donald shared custody of the boys. Donald is still Uncle Donald, don't worry. But since Della is always busy with the league they decided it would be easier to just have them both raise the boys. Donald is basically a stay at home dad while Della is constantly working as one of the core members of the elite four. Della is a flying type expert and Scrooge's favorite relative.
Feathery is an amazing boy! He's constantly working with the elite four as the Regions main professor. He's so excited about all pokemon, but his favorite are water types, because they make him giggle like a little kid. He's Huey's favorite uncle and the only adult he can truly relate to. Feathery is still the biggest sweetheart but now everyone takes him seriously and hang on his every word, even if he doesn't realize it.
Gladstone is one of the sole reasons the champion is still the champion. Because of his luck no one has gotten past him and his grass types. If he didn't have his luck people wouldn't have this issue, but he's cursed with it so he literally can't lose. Of course every Pokemon he has ever caught has been a shiny because they seem to gravitate towards him. The only time he can't find one is when he wants to give one to his family. I guess that's just his luck.
Scrooge McDuck, the richest duck in the world. Despite being part of the elite four, he doesn't really have to do anything. Since he's challenged after Gladstone his battles are few and far between. So he began running his company's full time. Although he does have to leave his work to protect the region at least once every two week. He is the most loved of the elite four and also the most hated, with all his enemies. Good thing he's the best of the league.
Region time!
So, Americaw is based off the world of Ducktales and all the places they've been to by the time of the season three hiatus. I also decided you can find any pokemon in this region (even if characters share pokemon sO MaNY TIMES!), and some come earlier than we're used to. Most of the region is mostly forests with ruins but later on is more of the places we know and love, victory road and the league is even one of my favorite places in the entire series.
Gym leaders, baby.
Gym leaders are characters that are associated with the McDuck clan, mostly working for them in some way. I also tried to put a twist on everything and some of the gyms are ones you wouldn't expect for that character. Let's go over them real quick, shall we?
Owlson, the Normal type gym leader. I thought she was perfect for this because she does technically work for Scrooge now. There's nothing too special about her except that she really wants things to go right and she doesn't have room for silly things. I thought she would be fun as a first gym so the kids could get a taste of the adventure ahead of them. She uses a Hoothoot (to harken to her being an owl) named Natasha, and she has a Porygon (to harken to her being a buisness woman) named Charity.
Ludwig Von Drake, the Poison gym leader! As goofy as the man is he is very competitive. He works with Gyro and Fenton on many projects but has his own lab away from them. I think he works the best for poison because than he could be more of a chemist than the other two scientists. He's also the gym leader we see the least of. He's always in a rush to finish his project just to get on the next one thats probably even more dangerous. He uses a Grimmer (chemicals) named Paul, and a Toxel (science in general) named Corey. He also has a Rotom, named Walker, that just helps around the lab.
Fenton, the Steel gym leader. Since fenton is a superhero I thought he could take his typing from Gizmoduck. He's the main one out of the three scientists that makes weapons and items for the police force. The military forces also thank him very frequently. But since he has so many idea's there's no way for him to do them all. He usually overworks himself because of this and it's obvious to anyone who so much as looks at him. Even so he is the most optimistic of the gym leaders and goes nowhere without a smile. He uses a Pawniard (Gizmoduck) named Hero, an Aron (Robots) named named Titanium, and a Scizor (Gizmoduck strength) named Bromine.
Gyro, the electric gym leader. I thought Gyro fit best with electric because of presumably obvious reasons. Gyro is the wildcard of the three scientists and will do anything for science. He can't count how many times he's almost accidentally killed himself with an experiment. He might seem like he's the only one that slows down out of the three scientists, but you're dead wrong. He probably works the hardest and has the most unhealthy habits out of all of them. He's the best scientist in the region and refuses to give the spot up for anything. He's currently trying to find a way to turn his blood into coffee. He's as brutally honest as ever, and still full of himself, but will admit defeat. He uses a Magneton (robots) named Maggie, a Rotom (Lil' Bulb) named Tom, and a Vicavolt (robots) named Vic.
Duckworth, the ghost gym leader. He might be a ghost but that just makes him better at his job. He's extremely neat and gets annoyed if a picture is tilted. He doesn't hesitate to greet challengers with a smile and even give them tips during battle. When he looses he still acts like a gentleman. He loves his work and refuses to leave life without "good reason". He uses a Gengar (his demon form) named Káge, a Banette (being able to poses things) named Mary, a Polteageist (because he's fancy) named Green, and a Mismagius (just because he's a ghost) named Lady.
Lena, the psychic gym leader. I told you she had a job. But I also know this typing might not seem like it fits. But trust me, it does. Her magic is what I imagine when a pokemon is Psychic type, so I thought it was perfect. She's rough around the edges when you first meet her but she grows on you once you get to know her. She's loyal to her friend's and already knows the kids once they get to her gym. I believe she is the only one that doesn't work for Scrooge in the cannon. She's basically the same she was in the show. She uses a Hypno (dreams) named Dreamcatcher, a Hatterene (being trapped by magica) named Princess, an Espeon (her necklace) named Garnet, and a Lunatone (the eclipse) named Lunar.
Launchpad, the dragon gym leader. Plot twist! Let me explain before you start yelling at me. I wanted Della to be the flying type specialist, so I had to do something else for Launchpad. It took me forever to figure out what to give him, I even considered the option of repeating flying, before I finally remembered dragon. It hit me that it was perfect! The dragon type embodies everything he loves. Flying? Boom, dragons fly! Superheros? There's a dragon that looks like it was made for a superhero. Airplanes? There's plenty of those. Acting like a child? How about one that looks like a child's imaginary friend! The list goes on! The dragon type was perfect because it's so loose. Anyways, back on track. He uses an Altaria (clouds) named Fluff, a Salamance (superheros) named Comic, a Noivern (DW) named DW, a Flapple (childish) named Flapper, a Drakloak (Sunchaser/Cloudslayer) named Sunchaser, and a Duraludon (vehicals) named Crash.
Ms. Beakly, the dark gym leader. She's a freaking spy, of course she's dark type. She's the hardest gym to beat, even for final gyms. She's tactical and knows (almost) every trick in the book. She'll point out what you're doing wrong and still beat you if you do everything right. She doesn't go easy on anyone so you better be prepared. Despite all of this she is one of the kindest people you will ever meet. When you loose to her she has a plate of cookies for you to take with you when you leave, and if you beat her she gives you an item that'll help you the most with the league, plus cookies for your travels. She loves Webby so much, enough to teach her almost all of her tricks. She's a good woman. She uses a Tyranitar (strength) named Tyrone, a Pangoro (capabilities) named Gordy, a Grimmsnarl (I just thought it fit) named Grimm, a Malamar (that expression) named Mal, and a Honchkrow (spy) named Krow.
I love this idea and can't wait to expand apon it. I alread have so many ideas that it's hard to not spoil any plans I have. I just hope I don't overdue it. I want it to kinda be like a little more serious version of the pokemon anime. Not too serious, but I want it to be like what you'd find in ducktales (just maybe a tiny bit less kid friendly).
Well I hope you enjoy my idea and have fun with it. Well anyways, have a great day!
Also, here's a picture of the HDLW designs.

Chapter 2: It’s a Bird, It’s a Plane… Oh Wait, It’s Izuku
What was wrong with Deku? Ochako just couldn’t figure it out. He had acted weird the whole way home from the restaurant, and he seemed to be avoiding her. Tenya, on the other hand, was so happy he was almost difficult to be with. Their make-out session earlier the night before had left him feeling confident, that much Ochako could tell, he was being much more touchy than usual, not that she minded. She loved how he really appreciated their time together. They had only been going out for two months, but they were really close, and it made her happy to feel loved, to be the focus of someone’s attention for something other than her quirk or ranking.
Ochako sighed. Her thoughts were keeping her up again, and she turned over to her alarm clock to see it was two AM. She groaned softly and sat up. I think I’ll go make myself some tea, she thought, that was how mom always helped me sleep when I was little. Ochako slipped out of bed, stuffing her feet into her slippers and heading noiselessly towards the elevator. When she got down to the commons, she heard someone muttering. She headed cautiously towards the kitchen to see Izuku, a glass of milk sitting on the counter next to him, his head in his hands, hair tousled from sleep, or lack of it, and he seemed to be talking to himself…. Again.
“Deku?” she called softly.
Izuku’s head snapped up, head twisting towards the sound of her voice. He smiled slightly seeing her there, and she smiled shyly back at him, walking over to the cabinet, and digging through it to find the lavender tea, her favorite.
“You couldn’t sleep either?” he asked, coming to stand next to her.
“No, my thoughts wouldn’t let me,” she sighed. “Why are you awake?”
“Well, let’s just say I can’t really think about anything else but this one thing.”
She frowned. That was a very un-Izuku-like thing to say. Normally he would throw himself into a tangent about whatever was on his mind.
“Are you okay?” she questioned, turning to look him in the eye. “You’ve been acting weird since we went to the restaurant. What’s bothering you? And don’t say you can’t tell me, because we’re best friends, and I tell you everything-” well almost everything, she thought, “-So it’s only fair that you tell me.”
He sighed. “I don’t know…”
“Can I guess? That way you don’t have to say anything,” she suggested.
“Fine,” he huffed. “Guess away.” He sounded slightly irritated, which she chose to ignore.
“Okay… let me see, is it the Sport’s Festival? It is only two weeks away,” she pondered.
“No, that’s not it, I have better control of my quirk now, so I’m not that worried about it,” he answered.
“Alright… Well, is it girl trouble?” she asked, wiggling her eyebrows at him. He didn’t look at her, his face slowly turning red. “Okay,” she giggled. “I’ll take that as a yes. What’s up Deku?”
“Well, I really like this girl, but there’s no way she likes me back.”
“What!” she gasped. “But you’re so sweet and funny! How could anyone not like you?”
He shrugged, replying “That’s not it, you see, I’m pretty sure she likes another guy.”
“Is this why you were so upset at dinner the other day?”
“Yeah,” he said hesitantly.
“Wait, do you like Tsu? She isn’t crushing on anyone right now I don’t think… I could talk to her if you want…”
“Um… yeah, it’s Tsu.”
“That’s great!” she exclaimed, but that was the opposite of what she was feeling. For some reason, those four little words cut at her heart. She shook off that feeling, she was happy, why shouldn’t he be? Because he should be with you, her heart whispered, but she ignored it and busied herself with making her tea. There was an awkward silence between the two of them, the tension thick enough to cut through with a knife.
“Anyway…” Izuku started. “I’m going to head up to bed.”
“Are you sure? Do you want some tea? There’s enough water for another cup,” she said, suddenly desperate for his company.
“No thanks,” he said, a sad smile on his lips, and he turned to walk towards the elevator. “Goodnight,” he called over his shoulder.
It wasn’t until he was in the elevator that she whispered, “Goodnight.”
The next two weeks passed in a blur, full of preparations, and training for the upcoming Sports Festival, and before Ochako knew it, it was the day of the festival. She was a bundle of nerves, only consolable by Tenya, who wasn’t worried at all, and Izuku, who was weirdly confident.
“Ugh, I’m so worried you guys,” she groaned during their lunch break. The first two events of the festival had passed without problems, and all three of them had advanced to the final round, along with thirteen other capable students in their class and class B.
“Don’t worry about it,” Izuku said, smiling confidently at her. “You’ve got it Uraraka!”
“He’s right Ochako,” Tenya said reassuringly, his hand on the small of her back, and he kissed her softly on the forehead to soothe her. She smiled.“Thanks you guys!” she said, confidence restored, her heart beating rapidly from the pressure of Iida’s hand on her back. He had definitely gotten more confident, that was for sure. She didn’t know how she felt about the change honestly. It was kind of overwhelming, and yet she felt herself sinking into him. “I’ll be right back!” she exclaimed suddenly, bursting up from her seat, and heading for the bathroom. She didn’t look back, but she got a glimpse of Tenya’s face when she turned the corner, he looked shocked and confused.
Once she turned the corner, she broke out into a run towards the bathroom. She burst into the room, checking all the stalls to make sure they were empty, and then moving to stand at the sink, turning the faucet on and running the water through her fingers.
What’s wrong with me? She thought, her hands going to her hair, twisting it furiously so it was away from her face. What kind of girlfriend runs away when her boyfriend touches her? Why does it make me uncomfortable? What’s wrong with me? The thoughts filled her head, drowning out all reason. She had always been fine with it before… maybe it was the look on Izuku’s face when he saw her lean into him, she couldn’t quite decipher it, but for some reason, it made her jerk away from her boyfriend’s gentle touch.
“Ugh!” she groaned, running her hands through her hair. “What is wrong with me?”
“Uraraka?” she heard a knock on the door, and a familiar voice. Izuku. “Are you alright? You looked sick… Iida sent me to check on you, I think he went to get Recovery Girl…”
She looked in the mirror, and desperately tried to flatten the mess she had created by running her hands through her hair in anguish. She grimaced one more time, and then threw the mask back on.
“Sorry Deku,” she said, opening the door and stepping out, a fake smile plastered on her face. “I was just feeling a little nauseous, just pre-match jitters I guess!”
“Are you sure?” he questioned. He looked worried, eyebrows furrowed, and jaw clenched, looking her up and down to make sure she was okay… or was that something else she saw in his eyes, something other than concern… she shook it off and grinned at him.
“I promise I’m fine, now let’s find Tenya so he doesn’t call Recovery Girl for no reason.”
The two of them walked through the halls, side by side, in silence, but it wasn’t an awkward one.
“So… you’re up against Honenuki right?” she asked, her voice cutting through the stillness, and echoing slightly in the empty hall.
“Yeah, but I’m not worried,” he said, a smile itching on to his lips. “I have a few tricks up my sleeve.”
“I suppose you’re not going to tell me, are you?”
“That would ruin the surprise,” he replied, turning his head to smile at her fully, eyes sparkling from excitement.
“There you two are!” she heard Tenya call from down the hallway. She turned to look at him, and was shocked when two very strong arms wrapped around her, crushing her into him. “Are you alright? Are you sick? Do you need Recovery Girl? What happened?” questions were flying out of his mouth, and he went from holding her in a tight embrace to moving her hair out of her eyes gently, and looking into them, his own filled with worry.
“I’m alright Tenya! I promise!” she exclaimed, flustered by his outburst.
“Are you sure?” he questioned, his eyes scrutinizing her, face full of concern.
“I’m fine,” she said, almost annoyed. She saw Izuku’s eyes widen from out of the corner of her eye. She usually didn’t talk to other people like that. She saw a flash of hurt in Tenya’s eyes, and she hurried to fix it. “I was just feeling a little nauseous, you know? Pre-match jitters and all that,” the lie she had told Izuku slid off her tongue easily, and she stood on her tip-toes to kiss Tenya lightly on the lips. “I’m sorry I made you worry.”
Before he could reply, a voice cut him off; “Attention all second years, the finals of the Sports Festival are about to begin. Please make your way towards the arena,” the announcement rang through the empty halls, and Ochako looked towards the boys.
“Let’s do this,” she said, smiling, and the three of them quickly made their way to the arena.
Ochako couldn’t believe what she was seeing. Izuku was flying. Actually flying.
The match had only just begun, and Honenuki had immediately turned the ground to slush, but before it reached Izuku, he pushed off the ground, and suddenly, he was suspended in midair. The crowd was gasping, muttering, whispering “Isn’t that the boy who broke all his bones last year?” and “What the hell is up with this kid?!” and honestly, Ochako was thinking the same thing. Suddenly, Izuku blew a focused gust of wind towards Honenuki, blowing him backward before he disappeared into the quicksand-like material on the ground.
“How the hell is the damn nerd doing that?!” Bakugou yelled from behind her, outraged.
“He’s flying… he’s actually flying!” Jirou gaped. All the 2A students were looking at each other, completely dumbfounded. It was like with his Black Whip the year before, none of them had expected this at all. But this time, he seemed to be completely in control, and Ochako wondered if this had been his plan to debut it.
At that moment, Honenuki popped back out of the ground, and quick as a flash, Izuku’s Black Whip was around him and, much to a struggling Honenuki’s outrage, setting him out of bounds.
“Honenuki is out of bounds! Midoriya advances to the next round!” she heard Midnight yell from the bottom of the arena, but she was watching Izuku in awe as he floated to the ground effortlessly. He’s incredible! She thought, smiling widely, and cheering loudly for Izuku along with the rest of her classmates. Next up was Tokoyami and Shinsou, and she was pretty sure she knew how that match would go, so she grabbed Tenya’s hand and pulled him out of his seat and they were running down the stairs when they ran into Izuku.
“That was incredible Deku! How did you do it? I’m so proud of you!” she exclaimed, throwing her arms around his neck and hugging him tightly. He stiffened slightly, but relaxed into the hug and squeezed her back lightly.
“It’s another addition to my quirk, I guess. It showed up last month and I’ve been training to control it ever since.”
“That’s absolutely remarkable Midoriya! You’re going to fly through the brackets with your amazing quirk!” Tenya remarked, pondering.
All Ochako could do was smile at Izuku, she was so proud of him. She felt something growing inside her chest, an ache, a longing. No, first of all you have a boyfriend. You’re happy. And he likes Tsu… so there’s really no point in trying even if you weren’t with Tenya. She stepped back from Izuku, patting him on the arm awkwardly. What are you thinking! Get it together Ochako! You have a boyfriend for crying out loud!
“We should probably get back to watch the rest of the matches. Wouldn’t want to miss anything good!” Tenya said, his voice a bit sharp. Ochako turned to him, confused, but he hurried up the steps, talking to Izuku about his plans for the rest of the matches.
Nothing could bring Izuku down from this high. Not only had he won the match by a landslide, Ochako had hugged him, and had given him a look, a look that was full of love and happiness… anyway, whatever it was, it had seriously pissed Iida off. When he spoke to her in the moment, his voice was sharp, angry. Izuku had looked at Ochako’s face before hurrying up the stairs, and he saw confusion, and-was it? It couldn’t be-doubt in her eyes. He felt guilty. As much as he wanted her to be his, he didn’t want to tear his friends apart.
Now, Izuku and Iida were sitting in the stands watching Ochako’s match with Jirou… and Ochako was losing. Bad. Izuku didn’t know if it was her nerves getting to her or not, but she wasn’t fighting the way she had been for the past year. Something was off, and Jirou’s constant ear-piercing noises certainly weren’t helping pull Ochako out of her funk. And with one last blast, the sound threw Ochako backward, just barely throwing her out of bounds.
Izuku and Iida looked at each other, dumbfounded. What just happened? Izuku thought to himself, fighting the urge to fly down there and see if she was alright, she seemed to have cracked her head on the cement pretty hard when she hit the ground, it was making him anxious, and he could tell it was doing the same to Iida.
“Uraraka is KO’ed! Jirou advances to the next round!” Midnight screamed, as Ochako was picked up from the ground and set on a stretcher, and even though he was far away, he could see tears rolling down her cheeks.
“I’m going to go check on her,” Iida burst out.
Izuku nodded, “Do you want me to-”
“No, I’ll go by myself. I am her boyfriend after all,” Iida said sharply, cutting him off. Izuku’s jaw clenched slightly, but he nodded again.
“Okay, well I’ll be here when you get back,” Izuku replied. Does he know? Did Iida finally figure out what I’ve been feeling this whole time? A million thoughts ran through Izuku’s head at that moment.
“Whoa Midoriya, what did you do to piss him off?” Sora asked quietly, leaning over Izuku’s shoulder to look at him.
“Do you think he knows?” Izuku muttered, dread filling him.
“I don’t know, but if he does, he isn’t happy about it,” Sora answered, setting a hand on his friend’s shoulder. “Don’t worry Midoriya, this’ll all blow over.”
“If you say so,” he mumbled, and turned his face back to the bottom of the arena, where the match between Bakugou and Yaomomo was about to start.
Izuku could barely focus on the match, he was so worried about Ochako. They should have been back by now. He was so in his own head, he didn’t even notice when Midnight declared Bakugou the winner.
He was about to go looking for them when they came from behind him, hand in hand.
“Uraraka!” he exclaimed. “Are you alright? How’s your head?”
“I’m fine, Deku, don’t worry about it,” she answered airily, but even as she said it, she could see that her eyes were slightly puffy, and Iida wasn’t looking at either of them. Had they had a fight? Izuku wondered, but quickly contradicted this when he noticed their still clasped hands.
“You did great by the way,” he said lightly, so no one else could hear him.
“No I didn’t,” she smiled at him. “But thanks, that means a lot.”
He smiled back at her, smothering the urge to hug her again. No, especially not when Iida’s already mad at me, he thought.
The three of them watched the match between Kaminari and Kirishima in silence, Ochako and Iida sitting farther apart than they usually did, and Izuku felt guilty for being pleased by this.
After Kirishima was declared the winner, Izuku stood up, and headed down to the waiting room.
“Good luck Deku!” Ochako called after him. He smiled at her, and waited for Iida to say something, but he pretended like Izuku wasn’t there. Izuku and Sora made eye contact, and Sora shrugged, so Izuku made his way to the waiting room to prepare.
Izuku’s match against Tokoyami had gone smoothly, and he had advanced to the third round. He was up against Iida next, and for the first time all day, he was nervous. Iida never went easy on him to begin with, but now he was angry at him, and Izuku had a feeling he might be getting a kick to the head… well if Iida could reach him that was.
“We’re down to our final four folks! We have Izuku Midoriya from the Hero course against Tenya Iida, his classmate!” Present Mic yelled, and the whole stadium cheered as the two friends faced each other.
“I plan to win Midoriya.”
Izuku nodded, and got into position to launch off the ground. When the buzzer went off, he barely missed Iida’s hand shooting out to grab his leg. He activated Black Whip, trying to grab Iida with it, but he was moving too fast, Izuku couldn’t focus on him long enough to shoot Black Whip at him.
“Recipro Burst!” Iida yelled, and jumped, almost grabbing Izuku, but he flew higher up and out of reach. Izuku knew that in a couple of seconds, Iida’s engines would be shot, and that was when he would make his move. He wondered why Iida was fighting so recklessly, not calculating like he usually would. Iida hit the ground, his engines shot, and cursed loudly into the air. Izuku’s eyes widened. He’d never heard Iida cuss so openly, unlike Bakugou or occasionally himself.
Taking advantage of Iida’s distracted state, Izuku shot a gust of wind towards him, and then while he was trying to regain his balance, shot out Black Whip and picked him up gingerly, setting him out of bounds the same way he had with Honenuki. The match had gone so quickly, he had barely had time to really show off all the advances to his quirk.
“Iida is out of bounds! Midoriya advances to the finals!”

Chapter 6: And Into the Fire
Ochako was in shock.
Tenya Iida, who was not only her boyfriend but also had been the gentlest guy in their class, had just slapped her across the face. Her cheek was stinging, and she lifted her fingers to brush the skin there. She shot a quick glance at Izuku, who was bleeding profusely, but had an anger in his eyes that she’d never seen before.
Tenya seemed to shake out of his rampage, and his face blanched. “Oh my God, Ochako I’m so sorry.” He reached out gingerly to touch her face.
“Don’t fucking touch me,” she growled, jerking away from him, and pushing past him towards the door. Iida followed her, reaching for her as she hobbled towards the elevator angrily. She could barely hear anything over the roar in her ears, she was seeing red, her vision swimming as she stepped into the elevator, pressing the down button. Tenya stuck his hand in the closing door, trying to get her to stop. “Don’t you dare,” she warned, and hit the close door button. She fumed all the way to the commons, where Tenya was already waiting. Fuck, I forgot how fast he was, he must have taken the stairs, she thought, and she saw Izuku behind him, stumbling to the kitchen, pinching his nose, blood running down his face, and a wave of fresh anger washed over her.
“Ochako please talk to me, I’m sorry,” Tenya said desperately.
“No!” she yelled, whipping her head to look at him. “I’m so fucking done with your shit! Where in your mind was it ever okay to hit me, or Deku? You’ve turned into someone I’m scared to be around Tenya, and I’m tired of it.”
“Well, you’ve certainly found someone you can be around,” he snarled, his hands curling into fists.
“What?” she spat, she was so angry, so hurt, she could barely see a foot in front of her.
“You and Midoriya sure seem close, I mean, fuck, Ochako! He had his hand on your leg! Are you that stupid? He definitely had less than pure intentions-”
“He’s my best friend Tenya, he was comforting me, something you haven’t been able to do since the Sports Festival. He’s there for me, unlike you. You just take and take and then you scream and yell at me when I don’t give you exactly what you want and I’m done!” she was screaming, and she knew that all of their classmates could most likely hear, but frankly, she couldn’t care less.
“Well maybe you should realize what I needed then and-”
“That’s not the point! The point is that you have been constantly losing your shit for no reason, first because I didn’t want to kiss you when you were acting like an actual child, and then when I told you I wasn’t ready to tell you that I loved you, and now this! I don’t get it Tenya! I’ve always respected your feelings, why can’t you find it in your heart to respect mine?”
“Well, it’s not my fault that you’re a huge bitch!” he yelled, his hands shaking, and Ochako felt all the anger boil over.
“Excuse me?” she cried, throwing her free hand in the air. “You’re the one who’s acting like a dick!”
“I’m sick of you acting like this, you think you’re so high and mighty. So I hit you, big deal. I already apologized-”
“What the hell is wrong with you? It is a big deal! I am your girlfriend, not your toy that you can throw across the room or hit when you feel like it!”
“Maybe if you acted like a girlfriend, we wouldn’t have this problem! What kind of girlfriend doesn’t comfort her boyfriend when he’s upset?”
“I have a better question, what kind of boyfriend hits his girlfriend?” she spat, “You know what I can’t believe? Why I said yes to you in the first place! Because If I’d known how you were going to turn out, I would have never said yes to you! We wouldn’t even be together!”
“I can’t believe I ever thought you were a caring person Ochako,” he yelled, his face turning red. “I don’t know why I haven’t just broken up with you yet, I mean, you’re not even in love with me!”
“Why you, haven’t broken up with me?” she said, dumbfounded. “I’m sorry, am I the one who blew up on you when you didn’t want to kiss me when I was acting like a dick? No. Was I the one who hit you? No, I fucking wasn’t. So shut the fuck up about how I’m not a caring person, because if I wasn’t, I would have left you the first time. But I stayed because I care about you.”
“You sure have a funny way of showing it,” he snarled, and Ochako heard a bang in the kitchen. She hadn’t even realized until this point that they were standing in the middle of the common space, where everyone could hear. She looked up at Tenya, and saw the anger, the hatred in his eyes, and she knew what she had to do. She took a deep breath, and looked directly in his eyes.
“You know what Tenya? Fuck you. We’re done,” she said, deadly calm. “Fuck you, you stupid arrogant asshole. I can’t believe I ever thought this would work out, and, God, did your true colors really show through.” She turned, and limped towards the elevator.
“You don’t just get to walk away every time you’re done talking Ochako,” he called angrily, trying to follow her into the elevator.
“Fucking watch me,” she hissed, and taking in his appalled expression from where he froze, and flipped him off as the elevator doors closed.
The tears didn’t start falling until the elevator jerked into motion, and started its journey to the fourth floor. She was sobbing, the tears weaving burning tracks down her cheeks as she stepped out of the elevator and stumbled to her room, throwing herself down on the bed, the crutch falling to the floor with a thump. She cried herself dry, the anger ebbing away and being replaced with hurt and disbelief, leaving her shocked and confused, and she sank into unconsciousness.
Ochako woke the next morning to a soft knock on the door. She sat up groggily, seeing the sunlight peeking through the curtains, and rubbed her eyes. What time is it? She looked over at the alarm clock on her desk, which informed her that it was eight in the morning. Great. Just perfect.
“Who’s there?” she called, and stretched lazily.
“It’s Momo, Kyoka, and Tsu,” she heard Momo’s muffled voice answer from the other side of the door.
“Okay,” Ochako said, and made her way slowly over to the door, picking up the crutch on the way. She opened her door to see her friends, who were looking at her with concern in their eyes.
“We figured you wouldn’t want to come down for breakfast, so we brought you some food,” Momo said softly, setting a gentle hand on Ochako’s shoulder.
“Thanks,” Ochako whispered, shuffling back over to the bed, trying to smile at the girls who were setting the food on her desk and settling in to talk. Jirou took the floor, her head leaning against Momo’s legs, who was sitting on the bed next to Ochako, and Tsu was sitting in the desk chair, which she rolled over next to the bed and set a comforting hand on Ochako’s knee.
“Do you want to talk about it?” Momo asked quietly as Ochako poked at the rice they’d brought her. Ochako shrugged, and the other girls exchanged worried glances.
“Not really,” she said, barely audible, opening the thermos full of miso soup and, discarding the spoon, drank it.
“Okay,” Jirou looked in her friend’s eyes, her own softening. “Just remember we’re here for you always okay?”
“We’ve got your back Ochako,” Tsu reassured her, smiling warmly at her.
“Thanks,” Ochako answered. “I do need your help with something though.”
“Of course, anything you need,” Momo said, smiling at Ochako lightly.
“I have to go to see Recovery Girl so that she can fix my leg the rest of the way. Will you guys come with me?” she asked quietly, avoiding her friend’s eyes.
“Sure,” Jirou said, standing up and brushing off her skirt. “Like I said, we’re here for you Ochako.”
“Let’s go,” Tsu took the thermos from Ochako and set it on the desk. Momo stood up and grabbed Ochako’s hand, gently pulling her up. Tsu handed Momo the crutch, and Momo eased it under Ochako’s arm. I don’t deserve them, Ochako thought to herself, tears pooling in her eyes, but she blinked them back.
“Okay,” she replied, and the girls made their way out of the room, Momo and Tsu flanking Ochako, and Jirou taking the rear. When they got down to the common area, Ochako didn’t look up from the ground, just limped through the room towards the door. Momo had a hand on her shoulder, and Tsu was holding her free hand, guiding her to the door. All the anger and courage from the night before had melted away, leaving the shock and overwhelming sadness. Ochako had never felt like this before, and she didn’t really know how to go express it, other than crying, but to be honest, she was too exhausted to cry, leaving her feeling empty, and broken.
Tenya didn’t try to come talk to her, and Ochako figured he was still angry. She didn’t blame him. She was too. It would take a lot for her to forgive him, if she ever did. She wasn’t used to this anger, and it scared her. Just last night she had been screaming at the first boy who’d ever loved her, after he had hit her. She shuddered, trying to push it away. Ochako remembered what Recovery Girl had told her the day before- “Don’t do anything to raise your stress levels. You need to rest, especially after what happened last night”. Well, that ship had sailed.
The girls made it out of the building before anyone came to talk to them, and made their way to the school.
“Hey, Ochako, do you want me to make you a wheelchair so you don’t have to keep walking on your leg? It’ll be more comfortable,” Momo asked, and smiled at her friend.
“Yeah, thank you Momo,” Ochako said quietly. The other girls shielded Momo as she produced the chair, and Ochako settled herself into it. “Thanks again Momo, you’re the best.”
“You’re welcome,” Momo replied, blushing slightly, and getting behind her to push.
When they got to Recovery Girl’s office, Jirou handed Ochako her crutch, and she made her way in after thanking Momo one more time.
“Oh, don’t worry about it, really,” Momo laughed. “And by the way, we’re going to wait out here for you, okay?”
“Alright, thank you,” she smiled at her friends and made her way into the room.
“Another fight? Midoriya, I expected better of you!” she heard Recovery Girl chide. Midoriya? So Izuku’s here too…
“I swear I didn’t initiate it!” Izuku said hastily, and she could practically see him shaking his head. She smiled, a real smile, for the first time that day.
“Umm, Recovery Girl, ma’am? Are you busy? I can come back,” Ochako asked tentatively, and Recovery Girl pulled the curtain back to look at her, and Izuku smiled sheepishly and waved.
“Of course not dearie,” she reassured, making her way over to her, and guiding her to the bed next to Izuku’s. “Midoriya here was just about to be finished, broken noses are tricky little things- he should have come to me when it happened, but here we are.” Tenya broke his nose? Because of me? Guilt flooded through her, and she looked down at the floor, unable to look either of them in the eye.
“Are you okay Ochako? I know yesterday was really hard on you- especially with you being captured and everything,” Izuku asked quietly, while Recovery Girl was tutting over Ochako’s slightly bruised cheek.
“What happened here?” she pondered, turning Ochako’s head to look her in the eye.
“Umm, well,” Ochako didn’t want to say it out loud, even though she knew Recovery Girl was at least slightly aware of what had happened.
“She got slapped ma’am,” Izuku said, saving her from saying it herself. She smiled at him, silently thanking him for saying what she couldn’t, and he smiled shyly back.
“By who?” Recovery Girl interrogated, kissing Ochako’s cheek to heal it.
“The same person that broke my nose.”
Recovery Girl shook her head sadly. “I’d always thought that Iida boy was a good kid. I always liked his older brother. Well, we’ll definitely need to talk to Nezu.”
Ochako looked up, startled. “What will happen to Tenya?”
“That’ll be up to Aizawa,” Recovery Girl said. “In fact, I think they’re meeting with him right now, and from the mood Aizawa was in, I don’t think it’ll be anything good. Much worse than house arrest like Bakugou and Midoriya got here last year.” Ochako gulped, guilt washing over her in waves, she felt like she was drowning. She could see Izuku watching her in concern out of the corner of her eye. “Anywho, let me fix up this leg of yours and Midoriya here can walk you back to the dorms.”
Ochako sat in silence as Recovery Girl finished healing her leg, blinking back the tears of frustration that were threatening to fall. “There you go sweetie! All fixed up!” Recovery Girl said cheerfully. Ochako couldn’t bring herself to speak, and she just smiled slightly at the school’s nurse. “Would you like a sucker?” she asked, holding out a bag of DumDums. Ochako nodded slowly, reaching into the bag and taking a sucker, even though she had no intention of eating it, sticking it in the pocket of her sweatpants.
“Hey, why don’t you ever offer me a sucker?” Izuku interjected, false hurt coloring his face.
“Because you’re in here practically everyday, you Danger Magnet,” Recovery Girl teased, ruffling Izuku’s green hair. “I’m tired of having to constantly restock!” Izuku laughed, and Recovery Girl shooed them towards the door. “Now go mingle, and neither of you get into any fights.”
“Yes ma’am,” they chorused, and smiled at each other. Izuku pushed open the door and held it for Ochako, who thanked him, and looked to their left to see the girls sitting on chairs that definitely had not been there before.
“Hey Midoriya, what were you doing?” Jirou asked, sliding off Momo’s lap.
“Getting my nose fixed, Iida broke it when he hit it last night,” Izuku replied, and Jirou nodded.
“That’s right, I remember now,” she said, smiling slightly at him.
“That had to hurt,” Tsu said, wincing.
“Eh, I’m alright,” Izuku laughed, smiling at them.
“Anyway, Ochako, are you ready to go back to the dorms yet?” Momo asked.
“No, not really you guys. I think I’m going to sit in the Garden, if that’s alright with you guys,” Ochako said quietly.
“Of course, go ahead. Do you want us to come with you?”
“I’ll be okay,” she answered, and the girls smiled at her and started down the hall.
“Can I come? It’s the least I can do, I mean, it’s my fault about yesterday-” Izuku said quickly, his words fusing together.
“Sure, I guess,” she answered, and started towards the Garden, Izuku by her side.
Izuku was worried about Ochako. She had been silent since they had exited the building, he knew she must be tired, and probably didn’t want to be around him, but he could see in her eyes that she couldn’t bear to be alone right now. They were sitting on an old wrought iron bench in the Garden, a little secluded pond in the middle of the forest surrounding U.A. There were lily pads covering the surface of the water, and the trees were blooming pink from the early spring. It was one of Izuku’s favorite places on campus, and he knew Ochako loved it too.
He looked over at her from the corner of his eye. She was staring at her shoes while she kicked a rock back and forth, her hair covering her face.
“Hey, Ochako,” he said softly, reaching out to touch her shoulder gently. “Are you okay?”
She shrugged and kicked the rock she had been toeing into the pool.
“I’m here for you okay? I just want you to be alright, you’re my best friend.” She looked up at him, tears pooling in her eyes, threatening to fall. He held his arms out, and she buried her head into his chest, her tears staining his shirt, not that he minded. “Shh, shh, let it all out,” he said quietly, stroking her hair as her body wracked with sobs.
“I feel so guilty,” she whispered.
“What! Why!” Izuku asked, dumbfounded.
“I’m so angry at him, but I don’t want him to get in trouble because of me,” she said, her jaw trembling.
“Ochako, you didn’t do anything wrong, I promise you that. I was there, I saw the whole thing. All you did was seek the comfort of a friend. Iida’s just an idiot.”
“But I said so many awful things… I wanted to hurt him like he hurt me, Izuku. I wanted him to feel the same pain I felt. Ugh, all I wanted to do was make him feel worse than I felt, and I know that’s a terrible thing, but I couldn’t help it. I… I lost control of my mouth- I was just spewing out everything I felt in the last few weeks….” she cried into his chest, hugging him tighter, causing his heart to go wild.
“Well,” Izuku said after a moment of silence, “At least you got it off your chest! That has to feel good, at least somewhat. It’s not weighing you down anymore! It’s all out in the open.” He stroked her hair softly.
“You’re probably right….” she said quietly, leaning back and wiping her nose. “I just feel kind of like a jerk, you know?”
“I do, but he should be the one feeling remorse, in my opinion. He’s the one who’s in the wrong, he’s the one who yelled and fought with you, he’s the one who hit you Ochako, not the other way around.” She looked down at the ground, tears still dripping down her cheeks slowly. Izuku reached over, and gently pulled her face up to look at him. He let his thumb drift across her cheek, catching a tear as it fell. He smiled at her, and quietly said, “You don’t have to carry your guilt all alone. You don’t have to bear it by yourself. I am always, always here for you.”
Her eyes brimmed with tears again, and this time she pulled him close, laying her head on his chest, tears dripping down her cheeks onto his already wet shirt. God, I love you, he thought, tightening his arms around her.
“Don’t ever leave me, okay ‘Zu?” she whispered, twisting her head to look at him, still in his arms.
“I promise I won’t,” he vowed, smiling down at her. She returned the smile, and pulled away from him. She stood up, and brushed off her pants.
“We probably should head back, even though I really don’t want to see Tenya if I don’t have to.”
“We don’t have to go back you know,” he said, gesturing to the seat on the bench beside him.
“Well, I’m hungry, so I’m going to head back,” she laughed. It was a smaller, meeker laugh than she usually had, but at least she was laughing.
“I’ll come with you,” he replied, smiling. “I’ll protect you from the crazies.”
She snorted, and grinned at him. “Thanks.”
“What are friends for?” he asked, standing up next to her and bumping his shoulder against hers. She laughed and reached into her pocket, pulling out the sucker Recovery Girl had given her.
“Do you want this?” she questioned, holding it out to him. It was strawberry flavored, his favorite. He smiled, wondering if she had done it consciously or not. He doubted it, but he could pretend she did.
“Actually, yeah! Thanks!” he said, taking it from her and popping it in his mouth after he took the wrapper off, and pocketing it. “You ready to go?”
“Yeah,” she replied, smiling at him, and the two of them started towards the school.

The fight from the perspective of the students in the kitchen
Izuku’s nose was gushing blood. He had just received a punch to the face, from his former best friend, and was following him down the stairs from a distance. Well, he wasn’t so much walking down the emergency stairs as he was stumbling, as he was pinching his nose and staring at the ceiling trying to stop the blood from flowing.
He honestly couldn’t tell if Iida was paying any attention to him, but he heard Iida’s footsteps on the stairs, like he was sprinting, trying to beat Ochako to the common area. Izuku tried to focus on the footsteps, but the pain in his head was distracting him from anything else. He grabbed the railing for support with his free hand, and stumbled down the stairs blindly. When he reached the door leading into the common area quite a few feet behind Iida, he started towards the kitchen when he heard Tenya begging Ochako to talk to him.
“No!” he heard her yell, “I’m so fucking done with your shit! Where in your mind was it ever okay to hit me, or Deku? You’ve turned into someone I’m scared to be around Tenya, and I’m tired of it.” Shit, he thought, I don’t think this is going to end well. He quickly scurried to the kitchen, where most of their classmates were standing, trying to figure out what was going on.
“Oh my god, Midoriya!” Sora exclaimed, hurrying over to Izuku and leading him over to the counter. “What the hell happened?”
“I’ll explain in a minute, can someone please get me something to stop the blood?” he asked, and from behind him Yaomomo sprung into action, grabbing a rag and wetting it, and handing it to Izuku, who held it to his nose. “Thanks, Yaoyorozu.”
“You’re welcome, now spill,” she pressed, and he finally got a good look at everyone that was in the kitchen. Kirishima was sitting on the counter farthest from him, and Bakugou was standing next to him, arms crossed. Todoroki was standing behind Sora, looking worried and confused. Mineta and Sero were standing next to Kaminari, and Jirou was sitting on the island next to Mina.
“Ochako and I were talking in my room about what happened with her capture, and Iida came in, thought something else was happening, and threw me against the wall-”
“Oh no,” Bakugou said sarcastically, “Did it damage your All Might shrine?”
“Number one, shut the hell up,” Izuku replied, laughing along quietly with the rest of them, “Number two I didn’t really have time to check because immediately after he punched me in the nose, and then he slapped Ochako when she tried to reason with him.” Yaomomo and Jirou gasped, and even Bakugou looked shocked.
“Iida? Our class rep slapped his girlfriend?” Kaminari asked, gaping at Izuku, eyes wide.
“What the hell’s gotten into him?” Kirishima wondered.
“He’s lucky I don’t go beat the shit out of him for hurting Pink Cheeks,” Bakugou growled, making a fist. “Nobody hurts you guys but me.”
The rest of his friends’ questions were cut off by Iida screaming: “Well, it’s not my fault that you’re a huge bitch!”
They all went silent, and moved to peek around the corner.
“If they break up, does this mean she’s up for grabs?” Mineta asked, earning a smack on the back of the head from Sero. “What?! It was an honest question!”
“Shut the fuck up Grapes, I’m trying to listen,” Bakugou growled, and they all stood, listening to their friends scream at each other.
“Maybe if you acted like a girlfriend, we wouldn’t have this problem! What kind of girlfriend doesn’t comfort her boyfriend when he’s upset?” they heard Iida yell, and Yaomomo scoffed.
“What does he mean by that? She’s literally always been there for him, he’s the one treating her like shit!” she said, and Sora looked at her, dumbfounded.
“I honestly don’t think I’ve ever heard you curse,” he said, and she blushed.
“Shhhh!” Mina whisper-yelled, cupping her ear to hear better. Jirou was wincing everytime one of them yelled, holding her ears, trying to block out their screaming.
“Why you, haven’t broken up with me?” Izuku heard her snarl.
“Wow, she’s really laying into him,” Todoroki muttered.
“You sure have a funny way of showing it,” Iida spat, and the friends looked around at each other eyes wide, and Sora threw his arms up in exasperation over the fighting couple, hitting Kirishima, who stumbled into a pan on the counter, which produced a huge bang. Iida and Ochako went silent for a moment, and the others turned back to Sora and Kirishima, who were mouthing sorry’s.
“You know what Tenya? Fuck you. We’re done,” they heard Ochako say, all the anger seemingly gone, her voice deadly calm. “Fuck you, you stupid arrogant asshole. I can’t believe I ever thought this would work out, and, God, did your true colors really show through.”
“Whoa,” Sero muttered, looking dumbfounded.
“Did she just break up with him?” Mineta asked, “I feel like I missed something.”
“You don’t just get to walk away every time you’re done talking Ochako,” Iida called, and there was the sound of elevator doors opening.
“Fucking watch me,” Ochako hissed, and Mina gasped.
“Oh, she’s pissed,” Mina said, nodding. “She never cusses that much unless she’s seriously angry.”
They all went silent as Iida let out a frustrated growl, and they heard the sound of drywall cracking. Todoroki peeked around the wall hesitantly and gasped.
“Holy fuck he punched the wall,” Todoroki breathed, and turned to Yaomomo. “Call Aizawa before he hurts anyone else or breaks something.”
Izuku sank to the floor, his knees giving out from shaking so hard. “Oh my God. Oh my God. It’s all my fault.”
“Seems like it,” Bakugou said blatantly, earning a punch from Kirishima. “What did I do now!” he exclaimed, turning to his boyfriend and gesturing angrily.
“Midoriya, you might want to hide,” Todoroki pulled him up and pushed him towards the pantry.
“Why?” he asked, crouching underneath the lowest shelf, still holding the cloth under his nose.
“Because Iida’s coming this way, and you’re probably the person he’s the angriest with right now other than Ochako.” Todoroki closed the door, and Izuku could hear Bakugou and Kirishima move to stand in front of the door.
“Where the hell is he,” Iida growled.
“Who?” Kaminari asked innocently.
“That bastard Midoriya. I’m going to beat some sense into him for making my girlfriend break up with me.” Iida was live, his voice was dripping with resentment.
“I think he went to the bathroom or something,” Izuku heard Jirou lie, her voice shaking slightly, but Iida, in the state he was in, didn’t seem to notice. Izuku heard Iida stomp off towards the bathrooms, and then the door slamming shut. There was a moment of silence, and then Sora opened the pantry door.
“The coast is clear,” Sora said, helping him up.
“I locked him in the bathroom,” Bakugou called from the other side of the common space. “He can come out when Mr. Aizawa gets here.”
Izuku sighed in relief, his shoulders slumping. “Thanks Kacchan,” he said, smiling at his friend.
“Whatever,” Bakugou muttered, “I think he was wrong about the whole ‘making my girlfriend break up with me’ crap though. If anything, she broke up with him because he’s a total jackass, not because you ‘made her’ or whatever.”
“Thanks,” Izuku said, trying to smile through the blinding pain in his head from his nose. “It really means a lot.”
“Come here Midoriya, let me see your nose,” Yaomomo ordered, and Izuku pulled the cloth away, letting her examine it. “Yep, just as I expected. I think it’s broken. You can tell from how it’s crooked up here on the bridge.”
“God,” Jirou mumbled, “How hard did he hit you?”
“Well, I know it felt like getting hit by a fricking train, especially after getting thrown into the wall,” he replied, massaging his temples. “I’m probably lucky if I don’t have a concussion-” he started, when he was cut off by Mr. Aizawa, who looked even more disheveled than usual, his hair tied back in a ponytail.
“Where is he?” their teacher growled, his binding cloth in hand.
“He’s in the bathroom, sir,” Yaomomo piped up.
“I locked him in there so he wouldn’t beat up Deku anymore than he already has,” Bakugou added, gesturing to Izuku’s blood covered face. Aizawa turned to look at Izuku for the first time, and his eyes widened, before he shook his head.
“Make sure you clean up the blood, and go see Recovery Girl in the morning, I can tell from here it’s broken,” Aizawa sighed, and turned towards the bathrooms. “Oh, and Midoriya?”
“Yes, sir?”
“I’m going to need a fully detailed report in the morning.”
“Yes sir,” Izuku replied, nodding slightly before grabbing a new rag and wetting it, trying to clean the remaining blood off his face. Aizawa unlocked the bathroom door, and made his way in, Izuku and the others could hear Iida’s muffled yells cut off by Aizawa’s angry scolding, and Aizawa and Iida came out of the bathroom. Aizawa’s binding cloth was wrapped around Iida’s torso, his arms secured to his sides.
Iida turned to look at Izuku, hatred filling his eyes once again, and Izuku stared right back, a challenge. It was Iida who looked away first, and Izuku knew Iida would leave him alone… for now.
“Go to bed now, all of you,” Aizawa said sternly, walking Iida towards the door.
“Sir, where will I be sleeping?” Iida mumbled.
“You won’t be sleeping. You’ll be in Nezu’s office with me. So I hope you had a large cup of coffee earlier, because otherwise it’s going to be a long night.” Iida scowled, but nodded, knowing it was what he deserved. “Oh, and someone please check on Uraraka and make sure she’s alright. Let me know how she’s doing in the morning, got it?”
“Yes sir,” the class chorused, and Aizawa left, taking Iida with him.
“That was très intense,” Ayoyama said, popping up from where he was sitting on the couch next to Kouda, who looked like he was about to cry.
“I had no idea Iida could be like that!” Hagakure cried, and Ojiro put an arm around his girlfriend as they stood up from behind the chair they had been sitting in.
The elevator opened, and Satou, Shouji, and Tokoyami stepped out, looking confused.
“What’s going on?” Satou asked, tilting his head to the side.
“Ochako and Iida just broke up,” Tsu croaked, popping up from behind the television, causing Hagakure to let out a startled shriek.
“I’m just glad it’s over,” Kaminari said, leaning back onto the counter, letting out a shaky breath. The other students nodded, and said their goodnights, heading upstairs to their respective rooms, catching the three who had been upstairs up to speed.
Izuku nodded long with the rest of them, but deep down he knew that it was far from over.
