kinda fucked up how our whole lives revolve around a very fragile tiny little metal and glass box and if the box breaks and you're poor and can't afford to rush out and spend $500-1000 on a new box it like. fucks your life up REALLY quickly.
#i know friends who lost jobs bc their own personal cell phone broke and they couldn't afford a new one#so their stupid boss couldnt get ahold of them outside their scheduled hours to try to guilt them into taking more shifts#and bc they were “ingnoring” the calls (even tho stupid boss knew well and good the phone was broken) they got fired#this happened with 3 different people 3 completely different stupid bosses#and now i may have to decide if i wanna go to school this fall or have a phone to communicate with#thank god this hunk of broken metal and glass is working till it dies#but it wont charge so after it dies. thats its.
