had to watch a highlights compilation for it to hit me just how relatable Riz’s experiences as an aroace (or adjacent) character is for me an aroace person and like wow... I rarely ever see my experiences depicted like this anywhere, I’m usually just happy to have a character that straight up does not have any kind of romance arc, but this is just really nice :)

#its so accurate too #Riz's awkwardness everytime he brings up the topic of sex was really funny to me until I realized i do the exact same thing #and of course the years will go by and everyone will find someone that matters more to them than you perfectly sums up #the aromantic fear of isolation #which is something I am very genuinely afraid of #something a friend has pointed out to me before in an unfourtunately depressing conversation #also much smaller but I had an aromantic horror story planned that also had a lot to do with lies and mirrors #so the stuff with Baron feels particularly relevant to how I interpret my experience as well #literally so many of the specific things I have felt and experienced as an aroace person were just reflected back to me #I am going to cherish this I think #fantasy high #reaction tag #d20
