im tired right down to my bones of cool edgy six pointed stars and kabalistic tree of life imagery in media that will never even say the word judaism let alone acknowledge us as a culture that provides anything beyond decontextualized Spooky Occult symbols. and the real kicker is this post isnt even a vagueblog about fullmetal alchemist

#of course in some cases this is more because someone was inspired by like turn of the century british occultism #(golden dawn‚ masonic shit‚ etc)#which borrowed heavily from jewish mysticism #so the creator ends up using this stuff thats taken from judaism without any awareness of judaism #but other times people are just plain looking for Mystic Spooky Demon Symbols #like in the case of the work im complaining abt right now which. again. isnt even fullmetal alchemist even though fma does this a lot
