not to sound like a College Degree Fix Everything liberal but. they should require you to do a whole masters in social work plus the LSAT before you can even THINK about applying to the police academy . like you should have to somehow prove that you understand how the real world operates and how to do “inductive reasoning”
#so that u don’t say stupid fucking shit like You Can’t Prove This Man Roofied The Girl#Cuz I Personally Didn’t See Him Add Drugs To Her Long Island Iced Tea#unrelated i used to volunteer at a high school with a sociology major who wanted to become a cop#and he was doing his sociology degree so that he could be a more knowledgeable and understanding cop or whatever#and like. buddy you could get into the police academy tomorrow and rank in the top ten percent of recruits on second year credits alone#but like. yeah he was kind of refreshing compared to the chuds from high school who wanted to be cops#i hope he didn’t become a cop i hope he is instead working a useful job#my posts
