dear self,
eto na naman, struggling with your weight. but this time, you're coming from a stronger, happier place, and hindi ka as burdened as before. ngayon mas gusto mo na lang maging healthy (and mas maporma haha) and i think malaking improvement yun! wala na masyadong self-hate and that's amazing :) may days, yes, pero in fair ngayon you can just wait it out. stigs.
siguro i just had to write this down for you kasi you are yet againe planning on committing to a healthier way of life and way of eating. week 3 ka na pero dami pa ring cheat moments haha. lalo pag weekends. gawa tayo ng plano para mas maging successful ka:
1. ice water is life
so torn pa ang mga tao kung ok ba talaga to sa digestion o hindi pero ang masasabi ko lang ay, YOU LOVE ICE WATER AND THAT IS WHAT MATTERS. thank god for kleen kanteen haha. make sure to fill it na early before you leave for work and then again after lunch to help curb your cravings. bago ka magdecide na you need to eat, drink up muna. if gutom ka pa din, gora na.
2. barter with exercise + a healthier substitute / smaller portion
madalas ka magcrave for starchy sweet things (cinnamon buns and cake my gahd) and also sugary drinks (softdrinks ugh) plus carb faves like lasagna. lalo na pag malapit ka na magkaroon. pro tip: barter with exercise--maglakad ka sa fire escape ng x number of floors pababa at paakyat :) at least less guilt kahit papano. and usually naman pagdating mo sa baba manghihinayang ka na sa na-workout mo sa stairs haha. or! if you crave chips, swap na lang with happy peanuts or sunshine para naman less damaging haha. OR! pag desparate ka na talaga...give in ka na. PERO limit the portion. GURL WAG MO UBUSIN SA ISANG UPUAN. WAG MO ITODO. ganun tendency mo e wahahahah! that "might as well" mentality tend to wreck everything you worked hard for; sayang naman din kasi. lumilipas din naman yan e :) ikaw pa naman you tend to feel shameful after finishing a giant bag (+ ice cream + coke ba naman kasi hahaha). take a deep breath and say "ok self, deserve natin to...pero konti lang kasi di kita papabayaan nang bongga.
3. exercise with your babies
pag uwi mo ang tendency, after walking the babies, dinner ka na then phone or netflix or yt haha. pero try natin ibahin this time: kain ka na ng dinner before you go home, para di ka rin masyadong hangry. then pag-uwi, walk the dogs and then play with them muna kahit mga 30mins--or! habaan nyo yung walk nyo. para rin mas makapagbonding kayo, and mas humealthy kayo pare pareho :) yung phone mo, itabi mo muna, or dont take it our muna from your bag until late na. sige na pls! life is short, love your dogs ❤️
4. exercise din w/o your babies
ok din yun :) start slowly but surely. mag yt ka na lang sa bahay, or use the apps you downloaded. start with 7mins a day then work yourself up to 30min. keri na yun! if u can, bike na rin to and from work. bili ka muna helmet tho. other workout ideas:
- jam to your fave songs
- just dance on yt
- dance tutorials
- tabata
- clean the house hahaha
- walk up the stairs (pwede din with the babies)
5. be thankful!
try to be more thankful pa :) na you have a fully functional body, na you are young and able, na you are not sick or ailing. be thankful that your body is still taking care of you, kahit na you haven't been taking care of it :) be thankful na may moments ka of clarity (like right now) and that you also have the means to help yourself. be thankful that you are alive. be thankful that your family and frends are there and that you are loved. be thankful you have a job kahit kapikon mga utash minsan haha. be thankful that you wake up when you do, kahit pikon ka sa ingay ni jake haha. be thankful that the universe is kind to you.

while you are at it...sana imaintain mo yung being kinder to yourself din. slowly but surely the fog is lifting, layo na rin nang narating mo vs previous years. YAY! proud of you, self! ❤️ baka kailangan mo din to marinig from yourself hahaha. write when you can. read! checklist mo yung library nyo jan. wear what you want na rin kahit di ka payat haha. you may feel down sometimes but you've pulled through so many times! 🥰 you are smart, you are talented, you are kind (mej) and you are trying very hard, kahit di halata. and that's what matters :) tayong dalawa lang hanggang sa huli, so let's make this relationship strong and steady.
self, YOU GOT DIS. no matter what they say. no matter what YOU say. one day at a time lang tayo. kaya natin to :) thank you for everything. you've gotten us this far! galing! i love you bb! will try my best din to be the bff you deserve. i'm here for you. wag na tayo mag-away. let's support each other thru thick...until thin. hahahaha!
