#i outsmarted my mouse. the bats have been evicted from the brick chimney 💪#so now it's time to tackle the latest struggle of living in an old victorian house: my own lack of coordination early in the morning#the house is 200ish years old so it's settled some. and the stairs were not built to any sort of modern standard/code#which means they're a) extremely steep and b) somewhat uneven. because of the settling.#and so this morning is the SECOND MORNING that I've tripped on the way back upstairs#and managed to drench myself and my stairwell in hot coffee ✊😔#at least I drink my coffee black lol which means there isn't milk also mixed in with the spill but 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
