#so now im only putting effort into the vegetables and everything else is prepackaged lol

tonight for thanksgiving dinner for two, im making sautéed broccoli in a lemon garlic butter sauce, scalloped potatoes au gratin, stovetop stuffing, and rather than trying to tackle turkey for two, i bought a Portuguese spiced rotisserie chicken (with paprika, garlic, and chili) that im going to just carve to serve and heat up separate portions in the microwave lol

and then im gonna use the chicken drippings from the tray to make a pan gravy with a splash of lemon

i also got us a pack of individually wrapped butter tarts so we don't have to worry about eating a whole pie quickly, so it doesn't go bad or take fridge space

last night we had swanson turkey pot pie frozen dinners as like some kind of thanksgiving pregame

and then my partner's mum wants to buy us dinner tomorrow, so we get two (and ½?) thanksgivings <3
