Ayato’s the type of person to say he has high standards and a specific preference of girls but…

Really has a wide range

especially when they’re sacrificial brides; he has to work with what he has after all

anything that helps him feel emasculated

on the other hand though, he fell head over heels for Yui despite her not fulfilling all those ‘requirements’

that’s because his preferences are of a wide range, and her personality is what struck him most

generally, though, he likes when his girl smells good and takes care of her appearance. her body can look like anything so long as she has some sense of fashion and isnt always a mess

he likes put-together, sophisticated and elegant girls and imagining how he’ll ruin them

he’s a sucker for lipgloss - thinks they make girls look ten times more kissable

personality-wise, he of course loves a submissive girl; however he doesn’t want her to be so compliant that she feels bland

he likes intelligent girls; those with a lot of curiosity and aspiration

you raise me goth severus i raise you specifically 1920s inspired goth severus. pin straight hair that falls over her shoulders (does not grow further no matter what she does) (though honestly she hasnt done much). wears only black (shes dedicated). flapper dresses but to her ankles. flats or t-shaped heels. is naturally pale and makes herself lighter with make up so her black black lipstick stands out. she has naturally thin lips so she tries overlining for a while (epic fail!!). her eye make up is never as intricate as she hopes but then she finds out the beauty of VIELS and wears one always. lace headpieces she spends hours on, learning from her mother or lily, and shes so fucking proud of them yk. very intricate beading on her dresses!!! she does half them herself, she guys her dresses matt and makes cool designs on them (or at least she plans to, most of them ending up resembling lilies). long gloves !!! her hands are fucked from her potion work and writing and she adores long gloves.

Top 5 headcanons about Kleya’s past and her connection to Luthen

Hi this has been sitting in my inbox for months but i got bored at work and wrote PAGES in my little journal and hello here we are okay slay

I know there are a lot of HCs out there, but Kleya’s my little guy (i know you’re all shocked) so i’m just gonna infodump here on my thoughts about her past. And also let me just say – ALL kleya HCs are welcome on my tumblr dot com blog!!!!!!!!!! I love her in all forms!!!!!!!! Please come tell me all of your kleya HCs!! Even if they’re different!!!!! We can all play in this sandbox together!! I love you all. Anyway, here we go:

1) Handmaiden Kleya!!!!!

Everyone’s heard this one, and I have expounded on it many a time. Timeline-wise, it wouldn’t be crazy that she’d be a handmaiden of Apailana, the queen of Naboo when the Empire came into being. This ties in with her hatred of the Empire – if you believed in peace and democracy like the Naboo did, how would you feel if you saw it come crashing down at like 14 years old? What about if the man who recruited you to protect the queen (a symbol of Naboo democracy) became the new governor, effectively overruling the democracy you were sworn to protect?

2) Amidalans

Although she was young, Kleya would’ve had contacts within the Amidalans, a network created to find out what really happened to Padme Amidala. They would have wider rebellion connections, which could place Kleya in Coruscant with Luthen.

3) Connect it to Luthen

I think Luthen was probably a lone wolf (on Coruscant at least) for a long time and decided he needed an assistant. Yada yada yada he gets Kleya sent to him.

4) My Archivist Dreams – self indulgent? Maybe. Plausible? Yes!

Kleya would’ve been pretty young coming to Coruscant. Who’s to say she didn’t go to Coruscant for archival studies or to learn about conserving artifacts? I bet that’s what the Amidalans/rebels put on her documents to get her onto the planet. Anyway, we know she does conservation work in Luthen’s gallery, which means she had to balance some type of education with rebellion work at some point. Hey, you can probably get a lot of names to add to your rebel network at a university, right?

5) A fun (kinda cracked) VelKleya one

If we’re on the “Luthen is Vel’s dad” hc train too, then VelKleya is so fucking funny dude.

yayayay!! i am so fascinated in hear how other folks are interpreting things because this is 100% a new process to me- so like woah?? everyone has so many thoughts??? it's v cool

i am currently kind of obsessed with thinking about the ducks and the implication of old gods/what even are they? i remain eternally confused by the fact they are ducks are all design wise but i do kind of respect the fact that they're not owls for some reason. i talk more about them behind the wall in case folks are like eww too spoilery

the lamb is very good at juggling- there's like a nomadic period for sheep that some stay on forever where they travel and that when they learned. there's a lot of sheep culture stuff that is likely never going to be openly described because the lamb hates the idea of sharing. but it's also how they got through a lot of being on the run and how they got so good at getting everyone to like them; it's a lot easier to survive if folks like you

narinder is very good at cooking which annoys the lamb because he didn't spend much time eating or preparing food- but since he's been alive so long he's just kind of good at hand skills? i like their exchange about it a lot

he's also good at floral arranging- that one is both important and not important?

there's an ongoing thread coming out of continuum? there's kind of a hierarchy of the non-mortals which Narinder is currently keeping from the lamb because tbh he doesn't like to think about it and is just kind of pretending (up until the chapter from last week) he can ignore it

the ducks are kind of like constructs? things that don't need crowns to be powerful and represent unGodly concepts- the fact the Chemach has a crown is what made her mad in that wearing one and not being a mortal who could ascend to Godhood meant she couldn't like... hold two positions at once? her relationship with Narinder is the most complicated as they were... coworkers? how to describe it while it is still something i am chewing on is just like ???- he's upset she put on a crown but also not super surprised

it's still kind of fuzzy in my mind but unlike where someone like Shamura represented the ideal of knowledge, Clauneck is Fate and thus reality kind of bends around him like a blackhole. He's both the thing that is happening and the idea/concept of the thing that is happening. So in the scene where the lamb draws cards from him and Narinder says it'll only be true once Clauneck sees it he's right; Fate is only real once you perceive it

editing this in but IT MAKES WHAT HE SAYS TO NARINDER REALLY MEAN- like genuinely he's like UMM actually everyone has always hated you stfu and leave me alone, sharing my secrets

and then the mystic seller is just the universe personified and is kind of hanging out fucking around and laughing at everyone. it tries to keep things relatively on track but will also wildly throw something off course if it thinks it'll be more interesting. running to the mystic seller is kind of the last resort a God has and it can backfire horribly if it doesn't feel like playing nicely. an unGodly thing can't barter with it as they are themselves concepts, they can make reality wiggly though- just not outright change it. not entirely sure how much i will explore the difference between Gods and Old Gods cause like EHhHHEKFNS but mainly;

mortal => Gods => unGodly things => super god aka the mystic seller

the world was a lot more complicated when Narinder was a God and unchained- lots of stuff happened, and then he has a huge knowledge gap of what the Old Faith was like without him around.

his being defensive on a lot of stuff is more him just not knowing things and not wanting to appear weak, really he just wants to nap and ignore everything but thinks he's supposed to try and get his crown back because it's what he was told he wanted before

1. Is your muse a good kisser?

Yes! She's a very good kisser. She learns quickly and can adapt to most people in the moment. She is a bit out of practice because she hasn't dated too much since highschool outside of a couple people here and there but if she really got a chance, she'd recover pretty fast.

2. Is your muse monogamous? 

I'm actually not sure. I think with some talking she'd be open to polyamory but it would take a lot of communication on everyone's ends. She's somebody that feels things really intensely even if she's not that good at expressing it and thus issues like jealousy could become an issue if not talked about upfront.

3. What would your muse’s ideal date be?

Please take her to an aquarium. Granted you're likely to lose them within the first five minutes, Veronica loves aquariums but they will wander off if your back is turned to go look at a tank or crawl into one of the fake caves and not be found for a while.

They also, maybe surprisingly maybe not, love amusement parks and rollercoasters, so those and things adjacent to them like boardwalks are another option. It is a safe and mostly healthy way to help shake off some of that excess anxiety she seems to constantly carry.

4. Wild date night out or quiet date night in?

They prefer a quiet date night in, to be honest. A lot of what people consider to be a "wild night out" heavily overstimulates them and leaves them more grumpy than not. The more people around, the harder it is for them to really focus. They wouldn't mind a drive or a ride with no destination in mind either!

5. How easy is it for your muse to say, “I love you”?

Not very. It's easy for her to gain crushes / become infatuated with somebody and it's easy for her to fall in love with somebody, but getting her to admit it is difficult because the last time she did very much didn't go well. In fact, four people died from it, so they're a bit hesitant to say the least. While rationally they know it's likely not to happen again, they're very much not mentally well and think it absolutely will.

6. How important is physical appearance to your muse?

It's actually not that important to Veronica. Veronica prefers personality and while being attracted to somebody physically does help, they don't really mind too much.

7. What is the longest relationship your muse has been in?

JD's. It lasted about a year and before that she didn't really date, and directly after that they were way too mentally unwell to seriously date. They've had a few casual relationships that have lasted a month or two and a couple that have lasted a few months, but nothing has really stuck. There are some private verses I have where she's been with somebody for much longer, upwards of two-three years to since she was like fourteen / fifteen, but since they're not canon this blog-wise, and the latter is tied to one of my partner's characters to the point it's become an entire AU in itself, I am not going to go into detail with them here.

8. Does your muse like a height difference with their partner?

Sorta? It's a bit... hard to not be taller than her. They're 4'11"; no amount of heels or big boots is going to fix that. They've kinda just accepted it as their fate.

9. How physically affectionate is your muse with their partner?

It depends! In public they're not as physically affectionate as they are in private, but they do a lot of smaller gestures, gentle touches to the shoulders or hooking their finger into their partner's. Privately, they're much more open with affection and dare I say they're sort of clingy; they want to be near their partner a lot if not all the time. They really like to rest on their partner whether it's against their side or on their chest or even just her head on their shoulder.

10. What would make your muse immediately abandon a date?

Veronica isn't one to really abandon dates without good reason, so I think it would have to be something pretty substantial to get her to immediately leave. There's the obvious answers like threatening behavior and that but I also think they're inclined to leave if the date turns out to be rude. I don't necessarily mean like, don't know / care about table manners rude but I mean more on the harassing of wait staff or other people end.

11. What physical attribute does your muse find most attractive?

Hair, eyes are a close second ( more on that in #14's answer ). Veronica likes hair because they like to touch and admittedly also like to tug, but that's another set of headcanons probably . But generally well maintained hair that's any sort of length capable of her running her fingers through ( usually longer the better ).

12. Does your muse enjoy giving/receiving grand gestures of love?

I don't think Veronica enjoys either after everything. Again, the first time they ever loved somebody, they ended up with four people dead, which is a pretty damn grand gesture. I do think they'd warm up to it eventually, but especially if a relationship is just starting I think something really grand would genuinely spook them, giving or receiving.

13. What personality trait/type does your muse find most attractive?

Goofiness? This is something taken from years of writing them but Veronica tends to gravitate towards people who have a sort of goofiness to them and that can range from just a little to full on unhinged. They also flip wildly from liking kind of dumbass to somebody who is about as intelligent / more intelligent than they are.

15. Does your muse like receiving gifts from a potential partner? If so, what?

Veronica does! Rocks ( especially blue ), Legos, video-game related merch, new books, journals, or pens, sweets ( especially cherry flavored ), slushies, puzzles, jewelry ( silver / blue , or opals ), pokemon cards, CDs/vinyls/music, movies, just to name a few.

16. Has your muse ever been heartbroken in a romantic relationship before?

Oh yeah. Veronica by all means was destroyed after what happened with JD because they knew if things had just been slightly different; if things had even just gone an inch in a different direction, things might've actually turned out okay. They didn't really show it in front of others, and especially not in front of anyone authoritative after seeing how they'd all behaved with Heather + Kurt & Ram's deaths, but they became extremely unstable for a good while and their solution was to just isolate themself until they could reign it in again. Really the only person they talked to was their aunt Joyce during this, and they barely involved their friends. Joyce was the one that even recommended her therapy because her parents weren't doing anything about it. Whether or not it worked, Veronica has... Conflicting views about it.

17. Does your muse like being asked out, or do they prefer to do the asking?

Veronica has no preference! They can work with both pretty easily but I will say it will take her longer to ask than agree to being asked out.

18. Does your muse find the idea of a secret admirer charming or off-putting?

Veronica finds it off-putting to the point it likely makes them paranoid about somebody's actual intentions. They would really rather people just be up front and direct with them. I think they gained a few after what happened (small town, word traveled fast and there was no getting away from the fact they were literally in front of the bomb when it went off) and got hounded by people a lot and, as mentioned previously, she was not in any state of mind to be dealing with all of that! Which I think then caused issues about any anonymous letters or surprises of any sort.

19. Would your muse prefer a spontaneous date night, or a planned night out?

Planned. Spontaneous is fun and on occasion they would enjoy it, but planning is way less stressful for them because they have a tendency to jam-pack their schedule to try and keep themself as busy as possible.

20. Does your muse like pet names? Do they like calling their partner pet names?

Veronica does like pet names! They also do like calling their partner them, but what they call their partner depends a lot on who that person is.

21. Does your muse fall for someone quickly, or does it take a bit to win their heart?

Veronica falls really quickly and fast, but they usually won't actually admit to it for weeks to months. At least not to the person who's gotten their heart, they will definitely talk to their friends about it. They have a horrible time expressing their feelings outside of things like gifts and spending more time nearby.

22. Does your muse consider financial status an important factor in dating someone?

Nope! I genuinely don't even really have more to add, Veronica just doesn't care.

23. Is your muse smooth when it comes to flirting? How do they handle being flirted with?

Veronica being smooth is often a total accident and she won't realize it; they're not a very social person. They are extremely easy to fluster in most cases and act like they're not, which is endearing to some and annoying to others. They're much better at it once they're actually in a relationship.

24. Does your muse tend to get jealous when in a relationship? Do they like it when their partner gets jealous over them?

I don't think Veronica gets jealous very often. There's very specific cases where she will and often times it's because they feel directly challenged first. As for their partner getting jealous over them... It's a bit of a conflicting ground. Part of her is absolutely terrified of history repeating itself and the other part of her genuinely loves it and never really got over that "Fight For Me" mentality.

25. Does your muse consider romantic holidays ( such as Valentine’s ) important to celebrate when in a relationship?

They're fun! But they're not a necessity. Usually they'll end up getting something small for their partner on those sorts of days but if they don't have anything planned, they won't really go out of the way to make something happen.

26. How much stock does your muse put in first impressions? What is the best way to make a good first impression with your muse?

Veronica on themself puts a bit on first impressions. They will make sure they look nice and all of that but they're not somebody that will go over the top on a first date and nor do they really want to. As far as making a good first impression on her, getting her to laugh or smile consistently almost always works or if you can keep up banter with her.

27. Is your muse one to sit down with a new partner and formally define a relationship, or do they prefer to go with the flow and see what happens?

Veronica prefers going with the flow I think. Certain things they do want defined but usually that's not until a relationship is actually proving to be serious and they're starting to open up more, but I don't think they're the type to formally sit down and rather handle things as they come up.

28. When it comes to paying for a date, does your muse prefer to split the check, thinks the man should always pay, or thinks that whoever invited the other out should pay?

Hey! Sorry, but I'm curious and I would like to ask u something. I've already asked the same question to another blog but I decided to gather different opinions/feedbacks, out of curiosity.

Do you think Sun, Moon and Eclipse, canon-wise, are a good representation of a system?

I know that many people see them differently, everyone has their own hcs and I do too, but if they were a system would it be accurate in terms of shifting/fronting etc?

I apologize if this question sounds weird or if I come off as offensive, it was not my intention. I don't know a lot about DID, I'm still studying, so feel free to correct me or to simply ignore this ask.

Also it’s all good, I love answering questions that have to do with pulling from my experiences :] I don’t mind at all!

TL;DR because I’m very wordy— I think the DCA’s a decent rep of the idea of a system but it still ends up with a lot of the pitfalls of current system rep (like alters framed as evil vs good since it’s a horror game and Moon is an enemy + Sun and Moon’s inner conflict being resolved either through a fusion into Eclipse or simply letting a more stable alter front with little further elaboration on the matter)

So the DCA definitely feel like a system that could exist, but it still reads like that awkward middle stage of media rep where there’s still a dependence on shock factor and spectacle over them just being a system that exists, but they’re overall fine.

I think viewing them as a system is very neat and I love how validating/relatable a lot of the fan works can be when tackling the DCA’s dynamic with each other :] I see little issue with viewing them as a system, if that’s part of the question

Where do I start…

I think I’m a bit torn? Their canon switch from SB, if we are viewing them as a hypothetical system, definitely felt dramatized because it’s a horror game (but maybe some people experience switches like this! I wouldn’t know)

Also the fact the horror effect is likely coming from having an overall benign doormat of a guy suddenly becoming unsafe post-switch feels a bit iffy to me since it feeds into that othering/demonizing narrative of mentally ill + neurodivergent folk, but Sun’s panic about Moon fronting is still a mood, to be fair. I have my own paranoia about certain alters getting triggered out ajhdks

As for fronting, the DCA don’t really get to express how that works for them, so I can’t say. The only thing I could glean is that,

1, Sun was aware a switch occurred that allowed Moon out but, for whatever reason, was upset enough to still kick Gregory out the daycare knowing he could still be in danger so there’s not much info there, and

2, Ruin Eclipse seemed to have less memories than Sun or Moon given he acted like he just met Cassie when he fronted, sort of reminiscent of either an alter coming back after a long period of dormancy or a much more generally dissociated alter. Sun still talked after Eclipse came back so he’s still in there, and presumably Moon too.

For me, I think I have a lot of internal communication and rarely have hard switches (a switch where there’s only one alter fronting with little interference from any other part) so I can’t say too much about hard switches like what seems to happen with the DCA. Sun and Moon were in a terrible rapid switching and/or fighting-for-front situation in Ruin though, and I feel for them. I’ve been through it and it’s not fun.

I was actually surprised at how much more.. system-coded the DCA were in Ruin but I always had a bit of an issues with it for one reason

There wasn’t a lot of closure for Sun and Moon specifically (only implied through Ruin Eclipse’s calm and more child-friendly nature) so I’d feel a bit weird to say that the DCA as we know them at this point is a great.. summary for systems as a whole? Like you gotta do what you gotta do to heal yknow so this isnt judging how they need to help themselves, but I’m looking at the bigger picture of system rep and the preconceptions of a layman audience.

I know not every system likes the idea of their parts being ignored/shunted in favor of a more “complete” fused hypothetical version of themselves, including myself. But for the DCA, as Sun strongly implies, this is the best solution for them in the moment in order to stabilize so really I can’t judge them.

Sun said thank you, though, so I hope that means them and Moon are getting some well deserved rest away from front. I do hope to see things from them feeling better in the future, but I don’t have much faith that we’d be given that.

We do have one post about Jack/Vil, and it’s a hc post, but it’s 8 months old oops. But I still stand by everything I’ve said there lol so you can check it out of you haven’t already.

Jack and Vil could easily be each other’s first crushes, and honestly a handsome polite boy who doesn’t even watch TV is probably the best candidate for a young star that is Vil to have a first attempt at kissing with. It would also be a nice contrast to their other first time, because even though they were on the same page when they were younger, now Vil is the more experienced one of the two, and he’s probably going to enjoy guiding Jack as they do it. Well, if Jack gets overwhelmed, horned up and feral, there won’t be much guidance going on, but in theory lol I feel like Vil is the “oneesan” type partner in this ship.

Okay, breaking one of my blog rules here. I next to absolutely NEVER discuss my headcanons around character's sexualities but I gotta say - Luffy gives off happy asexual vibes to me.

While he makes friends pretty easily now, I see the other kids when he was really little being annoyed with him often and he struggled to be allowed to play with everyone. He'd be that kid who wouldn't listen and would piss off the wrong person and get told to go away.

Despite what you would think, his favourite colour isn't red. It's yellow, because it's just such a positive colour.

While he's definitely not a picky eater, he does dislike a couple things food-wise, with black coffee, artichokes, and asparagus being some of those things. They make his pee smell weird and he's not okay with that.

He truly has never had so much as a cold. He's healthy as a horse...that or the old adage about idiot's never catching cold might be a little true.

Joking - I honestly do think Luffy is a little smarter than he lets on. I don't think he's really all that book smart, don't get me wrong, but he has great natural instincts and understands people pretty well.

He doesn't grow a lot of body hair. His legs are pretty smooth, honestly, with the little bit of hair that's there not being super noticeable.

He starts to go bald in his 40's, so fairly young.

Luffy wouldn't believe in capital punishment. He thinks that killing the bad guys lets them off too easy - they should have to live with the pain of what they've done and all the time in the world to think about how badly they fucked up their lives.

I do ! I think at heart I'm very lovey dovey so I do enjoy shipping a lot. Despite this, I don't have many romantic ships across any of my blogs, but I don't really mind or care because I have so many lovely platonic + familial dynamics that I find just as if not more investing.

For Rei, in general she's not the most shippable. She struggles enough with making friends as is, and has so many emotional and mental struggles that make it difficult for her to connect with others. BUT she's also a sweetheart and always gives her everything into her relationships, so it's fun and very cute when she gets crushes <3

4.) Multiple people threads

I've done it before and I think they're fun! The main issue is activity. I strongly suggest that all people have close to the same activity levels. I don't mean this to say that you shouldn't rp with someone who is slower than you- but from personal experience, I've found that if someone is quite slower than the rest of the partners, they end up feeling rushed/stressed. That dynamic can fester and then the person ends up unhappy.

This won't be an issue if all parties are able to communicate well and have a solid understanding of: it's okay to take your time! Alas- I find that communication is not a strong point for a lot of people these days.

Assuming everyone has a similar activity level or has good communication, multi-people threads are very fun! The other issue can be that it can get really long on the dash, and sometimes it gets a lil harder to keep up with all the events in the thread.

Other than that, I find them really fun! I wouldn't be against doing a multi-person thread if anyone ever wanted to do so. I've certainly done it before in the past. =w=

Well, I honestly can't speak too much on this, because I honestly just avoid fandom as much as I can. I've learned over the years that the reason why I stop liking a piece of media is because of the fandom itself. I don't really pay attention to what's fanon, but I've seen a few things here and there for our fandom... and... I can say... I don't like what I saw. lol

I have read some fanon posts with a lot of likes/reblogs and I read through it and just... it makes my blood pressure rise. I'm not going to lie, i'll be completely honest. I've blocked some fanon blogs because I've seen some SHIT takes.

What irritates me the most is that some fanon HCs become so popular that it gets regarded as canon. Like, for instance people believing that the 2nd Vongola boss has an officially announced name- which he doesn't. The ONLY primo generation birthday that we know of is Giotto's. Any other guardian's birthday that you see online is fanon. I didn't know this until I saw someone talking about it, but there was actually no mention in canon that Alaude is French. It's just a headcanon that got so popularized that people assume it's canon. I admit that I fell for that one.

I've read a few fanfiction, and man... I couldn't finish many of them. I really dislike how many of them were written out characterization-wise. I just cannot deal with fanon a lot of the time.

I LOVE the idea of jealous Majima - not that he's worried about Kiryu but rather Kiryu would prolly make comments like "oh wow this guy's crazier than you" or "he's really got some knife skills huh" and that would irk him, really dig under his skin, makes him wanna plot and scheme and kick Nishitani's ass and Nishitani would love it. maybe Nishitani tries to pull horny things on Kiryu to no effect but Majima would SEETHE because those tits are his territory lol. Nishitani would, at first, think Majima’s whole thing with Kiryu is pretty weird since Kiryu’s this quiet, no nonsense person but if he saw them fight he’d be like “ok damn nevermind I get it now.”

further, I REALLY LOVE jealous Kiryu prolly even more so than a jelly Majima because Kiryu’s *not* the jealous type so imagining him going thru such alien emotions would be very interesting to see. I don’t think he’d do anything to Nishitani but I feel like he’d make passive (with a hint of aggressive) remarks at Majima like “oh you really like fighting him huh” and feel really weird about Majima gushing about Nishitani in a way that he wouldn’t about anyone else (other than Saejima prolly). maybe Kiryu gets a lil more involved in fighting Majima, instigating fights uncharacteristically and Majima’s like 👀👀👀. I think Majima would be a complete dolt and notice the change in Kiryu but not necessarily why since he can’t imagine Kiryu being jealous about a weirdo in a pink suit. Kiryu wouldn’t say anything tho cuz as we know sharing feelings is hard.

however!!! me n @rays-roses were chatting and they brought up the spicy idea that the jealousy could turn on each other, Kiryu feeling like he couldn’t match the sort of person Nishitani is - that crazy high energy that Majima clearly respects and takes inspo from. and Majima could be resentful of how accepting Kiryu is of everyone and everything and when Nishitani gets the same sort of acceptance or attention, Majima’s abandonment issues kick in and he thinks Kiryu could leave him — in the sense of, well Kiryu likes my crazy so what’s to stop him from feeling that way about someone similar. 

and then we shit and cried over the reaffirmation they have in each other: that they can’t be replaced by this new factor despite the qualities Nishitani highlights in the both of them 😭 there’s a vulnerability there we really liked.

as for serious business, to a degree I'm sure Majima would be worried about Nishitani, especially if he actually got hurt doing something stupid. maybe he'd see himself in Nishitani in the case one of his own dumb ideas got himself killed. I'm sure he wouldn't wanna see Nishitani kick the bucket *again* but at the same time he prolly wouldn't bother to get in the way since Nishitani's a stubborn freak and if he goes out guns a blazin’ then that’s just how it be. he’d prolly be a lil protective tho from the sidelines, being now in a position to do so. tho, if Nishitani asked him to leave him be, he’d would. Majima doesn’t really seem to put up much of a fight when it comes to the wishes of stubborn asses (cough cough Kiryu n Saejima). Nishitani would be old as shit at this point so Majima’s keenly aware he’s going out sooner or later and of course, on his own terms.

Something that's been kinda pissing me off as of late? I'm going to preface this with the fact I'm an autistic woman. I saw people reblogging an anon ask from a TBB support blog. The anon- autistic like myself-was saying that it's really hurtful that people say Tech is a neurodivergent stereotype because they see themselves in Tech.

And, cool, I'm glad they see themselves in Tech. I'm glad they can see themselves in a quirky white man. Because, ultimately, the idea that Tech is autistic is a head canon based on the fact that he is neurodivergent coded. How do writers code someone as neurodivergent? Often through the use of stereotypes.

The idea that autistic people are intelligent & computer/tech geniuses, socially incompetent, look distinct from the general public, are unemotional, are rude, and are asexual, are all stereotypes. While the last one is a popular Fanon HC, all the rest are used to characterize Tech.

I want women to imagine that the only representation of a woman they see on screen is a white woman who exclusively wears dresses and who works in the home and who is married with children, which has been her life's dream. She is soft spoken and bad at math and thin and wears makeup. She's a real nurturer, but sometimes gets "overemotional" according to her husband.

You'd complain that it's not good representation. Because it's very stereotypical and even harmful. It's incredibly exclusive.

Then a woman who fits this description to a T comes along and says, "Well, it hurts when you say this is just a stereotype because this represents who I am, and I think it's an accurate portrayal of women."

And then everyone uses her testimony to say that this hypothetical woman on screen makes women feel "seen."

No one is saying Tech is an illegitimate way to be autistic. They're saying he's characterized by stereotypes and that these stereotypes are not representative of autistic people. People, not an individual person. If he's autistic, he's incredibly exclusive, representation wise.

And he's really the only type of "representation" (he's not even canon autistic) we get on screen.

Exactly! It's a rehash of the same constellation of autism stereotypes that we've been seeing for decades now in media (and they haven't even bothered making it canon). There's nothing wrong with people finding those traits relatable but we need to acknowledge that they're pretty much the only way we see autism represented and it's not a complete picture.

And on top of all that even if it were the freshest concept with autism being stated canonically, it's significance would still be completely undermined by the whitewashing.
