so. some of you may know that it is my birthday today. some more of you may also know that @winnysatang is quite possibly the best person to ever exist on this earth. what none of you know yet is that for my birthday gift, fawn made me. covers. for my fics. she'd been planning this for MONTHS. SHE MADE COVERS WITH ART FOR MY FICS. SPECIFICALLY FOR MY WLW TINNGUN AU, WHICH REMAINS ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE AUS. WHICH IS JUST. I had to go hunt down a whole box of tissues which should tell you all you need to know.

anyway, this is super important for two reasons. the first and foremost is that, of course, fawn is my absolute favorite person ever and everyone should know how amazing she is. the second reason is this: today is september 24th, exactly 7 days before october. now, some of the longtime mutuals may know this, but every october I participate in both whumptober + flufftober, writing for every day (albeit a little late occasionally, but the spirit is there). so as a way to celebrate both my love for fawn + her work and my excitement for October Writing, I've decided to do a fun little pre-october series. for the next week, I'll post two of my wlw tinngun au fics and write a little blurb about them, along with fawn's artwork. hopefully this'll get people in the mood for some Dee Writing!

Update - 3rd year anniversary! (and some future plans, a reflection, etc.)

By the time this post is up, it'll be the 13th of May. Three years since I began my writing journey and this Tumblr blog. Three years. Time flies by so fast. I was close to graduating senior high after it was delayed because pandemic, had my graduation in an empty room basically, now I'm hitting my third year of college. Crazy stuff.

It's been a hectic final month of college, so I apologize for the lack of activity in recent times :< But summer is coming up very soon, so hopefully I'll have all the time in the world to write more till then! I will say, a new fic is on the near horizon, so please be on the lookout!

I would like to take the opportunity to thank every single of you, whether reader, lurker, or a fellow writer for your support! From this point, this part will be an overall reflection and life summary of the previous year, my thoughts on some personal matters, and some ideas I've been contemplating. If you don't wanna read this, you can stop here.

I miss 2023 quite a bit, not gonna lie. I know nostalgia can quickly grow warm and fuzzy, seeing the past through rose tinted lens, but I'll admit that 2024 hasn't been off to the start I envisioned it to be. That year was mostly peak for me, and I could even argue it's my favorite year to live out based on all my experiences. Traveling to new places, finally attending live events, interacting with my K-pop biases, and so on—it really felt like the best was yet to come with how 2023 flowed and transitioned into the new year.

Five months in, and I am struggling. Horribly. Most plans, dreams, and ideas have gone up in smoke, and it's just one devastating gut punch after another. I have a shitty professor in one major that basically made me check out of that class, and I don't know my family will react when I tell them I have to repeat said class because that professor was a dick. My family's been infighting on a daily basis, and I'm mostly collateral damage to them. Not one week can go by without some serious confrontation between them. There was a brief health scare with my mother, but that seems to be a nothing matter; thank God she'll be okay.

All this just makes life so deflating, in all honesty. I get that no life is without struggle, but I genuinely don't know when we'll be in the clear. Not anytime soon, I reckon. In these tough times, there's very little comfort except the past, when everything was pretty all right for the most part. It's been demotivating to write when mom comes forward with another grievance with my sister. It's hard to write when you have a professor who likes to power trip their students into submission. It's hard when you don't know how to admit to your mother that he failed his one class because of said power tripping professor.

But that doesn't mean I will let it eat me alive. I know we've been through some utter lows in the past. And we always get back up. If no one has us, then God does.

Summer break is fast approaching and I want to fix things. Even in my own little way. I know none of what I'm saying has anything to do with writing degenerate stories about hot K-pop idols, but real life circumstances have definitely affected me more than I can brush off. I should be calm, unfazed, undeterred.

After all, some stories are meant to be finished. They just take a more unconventional route. Ask Cody.

With all that being said, I will finish these commissions over the next two months. I'm really sorry to everyone who requested and paid for their stories months and months ago; I genuinely feel bad for not getting these out on time, but I am very mindful of quality control, and I have no one to blame but myself for being a slacker and lazy worker. Despite my feelings, I should remain professional—that's what being a worker means.

A lifestyle overhaul is definitely in my list of things to improve over the summer too. Figuring out how to get writing done, finding ways to alleviate my PokeRogue addiction (GOTY), whilst having a healthy work/life balance and not losing my sanity over it. Or worse, burning out.

And I want to take this opportunity to thank all my friends—peach, caps, majorblinks, chunk, frisky, raf, c.o, levi, sins, iz, ken, v1n, ddeun, notions, kevin, eros, brandon, kaede, svn, frisky, cray, rpg, prael—for putting up with my shit for another year. This life is tough, but you guys make it tolerable. Thank you for letting me air out my grievances even when it wasn't the best time to. I pray that when everything passes, I'm able to repay you all in some shape or form generously.

And to you, dear reader, for making it this far, thank you. Whether you've been with me since day one, or day 1094, as a commenter, reposter, liking, or just passing by/lurking, thank you for giving me a chance. Without you, all of this would have been for nothing. I don't know where I would be now if I didn't take that chance, that leap of faith back in 2021, and it's because of you I am able to keep doing this for the love of the game.

I was watching the 'Change of Habit', movie yesterday and thought he's such a nice man😮‍💨 and here's a fun fact about me if anyone is interested is that I have a stutter! This week hasn't been going smoothly for you, and it’s all your stutter’s fault. One thing you couldn’t spit words out when a couple of ladies were asking you for directions to the nearest post office and then when you had to call the dentist to make an appointment, it tied your damn words down. It’s absolute torture and you were so fed up with it. You've had this speech impediment for as long as you can remember and everyday you wish it would just disappear, out of your life, away from your worries but you had to learn that it's only fair for each individual to have their own problems in their lives but you still thought about that wish of yours. Sometimes…Well daily it makes you cry thinking about how hard it is to deal with.

Something that helps your stutter though is John, John Carpenter, your beloved boyfriend. He's always been there for you whenever you want to pour all your concerns out, about anything your brain can think of. He’d always listen and you couldn't ask for any other guy than him, he's all you need. Just someone who would look past your evidently painful stutter and just patiently waits for your next words. He knows about your stutter and understands how hard it can be because he often works with people with problems like this and he has told you several times if you want help, he is always there but you just think John has enough on his plate of taking care of himself and his patients so having his girlfriend to take care of as well? In your brain it seems like it's too much for him. Yes John is a doctor and that’s his job to take care of others but oh you couldn't possibly burn your wonderful hard-working boyfriend out, you really couldn't bother him with your problems even though he wouldn’t mind at all and would be happy to help.

One afternoon, as you were sitting on the couch those worrying thoughts were constantly circling your mind and you just wanted them to go away so you decided to go to John's clinic for a visit, to get your mind off things.

As you arrive and open the door into the foyer, you peer through the window of the clinic door to see John talking to a patient, who you think is the last one for the day. Quietly you turn the door knob and make your way inside. John notices you walk in so he says goodbye to the patient and waves a hand to gesture for you to follow him. Taking you to his office for some privacy. “How's my girl doing hm?” he asks as he watches you close the door and hang your purse up on the cloak stand. You hum softly “Good, b-been good” silently sitting down on a chair opposite from his, brushing a strand behind your ear. John smiles, “Busy week?” You shake your head and lift your eyes up to look at his “N-no, p-pretty quiet this week…I-I- I didn't have a lot on my sched-..schedule” nodding his head he hums in response. “Aren't ya lucky… been crazy busy in the clinic this week” he sighs and snickers to himself.

You smile small and giggle slightly “Mhm, a-alot of..of- of sick people?” asking in a quiet tone. John chuckles “injured, mostly injured” nodding as your eyes trail down to the papers on his desk, the troubling thoughts crawling back into your head. “Mhm…” John's smile returns and his eyebrows furrow a little. “Something on your mind honey?” your eyes dart back up into his and you laugh nervously and brush it off “Oh no..N-no just- just tired ‘s all” giving him a small smile before you go back to your zoned out state. With his ankle resting on his knee and leaning back in his chair and his hand wiping under his nose, he watches you quietly. Seeing your eyes sadden and your arms resting at your sides, presuming you were twiddling with your thumbs under the table. “Ya sure you're tired?” Earning a silent nod. He stays silent for a few moments, continuing to watch as you sulk. “You don't look tired..” he states, you breathe in briefly and look at him “John, I am just tir-...” he raises an eyebrow making you sigh. “Fine I'm not tired” your posture slouches. John breathes out “What's ya thinking about baby?” tilting his head to the side, his eyes staying glued to your face. Looking down at your lap, you bite your lip gently “M-my…my s-s-stut-” you huff out being so sick of it, John nodding slowly “Take your time honey” you take in a deep breath and slowly break down the word “stut..ter, stutter”

It’s embarrassing, making tears well up in your eyes and you shyly wipe your nose. your breath trembling, “I-its annoying…it- it really is'' John's face softens and he leans his body closer, resting his arms on the desk. Humming softly, he listens as you tell him your woes. “I'm sick of it…s-so sick of it” your breath hitching quietly before an unexpected sob escapes your mouth.

“Aw honey…” you bury your face into your hands. John gets up from his chair and walks around his desk, shifting your chair to face him as he kneels on one knee. Clicking his tongue and prying your hands away to cup your cheeks. His eyes move from one eye to your other as you pitifully cry.

“I-it’s so annoying! E-every t-time I try to speak..i-it won’t let me!” you sniffle, John nods and hums then a small grin grows on his face “You’re speaking right now” he raises an eyebrow and snickers softly, you gently swat his shoulder “I meant speaking clearly!” you exclaim making John laugh louder “M��sorry I know what you mean darling, I know” his hands rest on your knees, caressing with his thumbs. You wipe your tears away with the back of your hands, sniffling one last time. John smiles “Want a hug?” he asks as he holds his arms out, you accept. Both standing up “ It really is a pain isn’t it?” he sighs, you nod quietly as you rest your head on his chest and wrap your arms around his waist.

John sighs again and kisses the top of your head, rubbing your back soothingly. Staying quiet for a while before John speaks up “Would a lollipop make you feel better?” to which you agree “mhm…” Pulling away, John walks back around to open a drawer to pick out a lollipop for him to walk back, holding it in front of you “Here..” you shyly take the sweet and attempt to open the wrapper, frowning in frustration. John shakes his head and chuckles again “I’ll get it” taking the lollipop out of your hand and with ease, he unwraps it. “Thank you” you say quietly. Pecking your forehead lightly, John admires you with love in his eyes.

hey gang!

i've been thinking, and i think it's about time i take a tiny, teeny lil hiatus. just wanted to let you know i'll be gone for a lil while (hopefully a week+ depending on how it goes). this is NOT because of any of you - in fact i am going to miss you all dearly. just think i need a bit of a mental health reset luvs.

i will have my queue running - i've upped the time and number of posts as well so it will run throughout my normal hours here - and i have content (incorrect tweets, some video edits, gifsets, etc.) lined up until. like may so don't worry about that snkjfk (i won't be gone for that long prommy i just do a lot of content prep). i'll also be watching smosh every day as per usual, and still working on stuff while im gone!! i think this'll be a really great opportunity to get some work done - i have so many fics and passion projects lined up that im really excited about, so hopefully i'll get to finish those in the meantime and i may be back to post them <3 at the very least i'll be back by valentines day for the smoshblr exchange!!

It had been weeks since the HYDRA uprising, weeks since you had made the hardest decision of your life: to come clean. You had been a HYDRA agent, not by choice, but by obligation, so when you saw the time, you cooperated with S.H.I.E.L.D., sharing everything you knew.

However, your cooperation seemed like it wasn't enough, you could notice the whispers in the hallways, the looks of distrust, the outright rejection, all of it was now part of your daily life. There was no place in S.H.I.E.L.D. where you felt safe, no person you could trust, or so you thought.

Until the situation was so unbearable that you ended up in front of Steve Rogers' door. You didn't know if he would receive you or if he would reject you like the others. But you had nowhere else to go.

You took a deep breath, trying to calm the trembling in your hands, and knocked on the door. The door opened slowly, revealing to Steve the surprised expression on his face.

“What are you doing here?” he asked.

“I didn't know where else to go... I don't have anyone.” You felt your eyes fill with tears.

“Come in,” he said after looking at you for a moment that seemed like forever.

You sat down on the couch, and Steve closed the door behind you. He stood for a moment, watching you before sitting down in a chair across from you.

“What happened?” he finally asked.

 You told him everything, how HYDRA had forced you to join, how you had lived all those years, how you finally decided to cooperate with S.H.I.E.L.D., hoping it would redeem you, but found rejection instead. Steve listened quietly, his eyes never leaving you. He didn't interrupt, didn't ask questions.

“I'm sorry,” you whispered, lowering your gaze, unable to bear if he led you to look disappointed.

“You did the right thing.”

“But the others don't see it that way,” you muttered. “They don't see me as someone who did the right thing... They see me as a traitor.”

“People often judge what they don't understand. S.H.I.E.L.D. is full of people who have seen terrible things, who have been betrayed before. It's hard for them to trust. But that doesn't mean you should give up.”

“Thank you,” you whispered.

“You can stay here tonight,” he said.

“Thank you, Steve...for everything. But why are you being so nice to me? After all that's happened...you could have kicked me out like the others.”

“Because I believe in second chances.”

Ok, so many months ago I wrote a fic about the 2003 turtles (my favorite boys) that was inspired by @/beebopurr's lighthouse au. I've been sitting on it ever since I wrote it both because I hate editing my own stuff, but also because I haven't really had the time or motivation to do it. However, I've finally sat down to edit it and it's almost ready, and I'd like to post it here. I've been continuously (almost daily) stretching my writing muscles ever since I wrote this, and have improved quite a bit since then. So when I look at this fic now, I feel it's kinda....weak and lacking. But I don't really wanna change it much. I'm still really proud of it, and I wanna post it.

So, I wanted to ask, (whoever happens to see this), if I should post it all at once or if I should post it chapter by chapter. If you're interested, that is. Once a week, because otherwise I'd post one a day. It has six chapters, and they're not super long. The whole thing is about 30,000 words, with roughly 2-8,000 words per chapter (guestimation). It will be posted on my AO3 as well as my writing blog @maybelinefox .

Warning: there is an underlying message in the story revolving around trust, and the use of guns and other weapons is a method of portraying that message. If you don't like guns or violence, (there's barely any violence but a dude does get his arm blown off by an overpowered gun), this fic is not for you.

The Other Atlantis is this idea i had of john getting sent to an alternate atlantis where their sheppard is dead because teyla and ronon killed him for abusing rodney. so canon john is stuck there for like 2 weeks and the entire time the whole city is watching him like theyre waiting for him to give them a reason to kill him and the au rodney is so glad to have a john back even if it's not his john and canon john is so horrified by all of this because he knows *exactly* how close he has come to becoming like that other sheppard and when he finally gets home he refuses to debrief until he can talk to his team and when he tells them, rodney refuses to believe john bc he's So Sure John Would Never hurt him (but plot twist rodney also knows himself and knows that's even if john DID start abusing him, he would let it happen bc attention from john is always worth it which leads to an identity crisis) anyways this was long but i think about this concept like. Daily. so. i could go ON about this fic and the back story for it tbh

What first drew you to this character?

Daniel: I just really like what a great stand-in for the reader he can be because yeah, I'm sure EVERYONE who read these books at some point had the same thought- that they would want to be turned and they'd see immortality as a gift. I like his shameless love of these monsters, the line about liking kissing and snuggling with dead things? Made me absolutely insane. I like that he's not afraid to mouth off to something so dangerous while he's still mortal. I like his drinking issues, his weird craft fixations. Basically everything we got in the text was incredible imo, he's a fave!!

Armand: Honestly Armand didn't really click with me until QotD. In my mind he was a Louis-simp in interview, and then an angry bitchy little Jesus freak in tvl, but then he shows up in QotD and he's putting cigarettes down the garbage disposal and throwing money at Daniel to make him teach him about international calls and I was like- damn, this one is a FREAK deep down. So seeing him be erratic and out of place and curious about the world made me view him in a new light, and the moments of gentleness he shows later in the book really pulled the pieces together for me.

If you could write effortlessly and as much as you wanted, what story (s) would you write for this character?

Fuck, I really want some newly turned Daniel at Night Island for both of them. Like what went wrong? What kind of maker was Armand with all these ghosts from his past around? How long did it take for things to fall apart and what were the ups and downs of that period like? I really, really wanna work through that but I don't have even the slightest inkling of where I want to begin yet.

So generally I start with fic rated Explicit or Mature, not just for pervert reasons lmao But I feel like if a writer can write some smut that really gets the characters and explores something interesting about them then most likely their fics with lower ratings are gonna be interesting and not pure woobification. (also if they're writing the kind of smut I like? Then we're likely similar flavors of freak and I know anything else they do is gonna be safe)

Also while I wanna write some vampire on vampire stuff, I generally prefer Daniel to be mortal for bodily exploitation purposes 😂

Does this character inspire you with little things in your daily life?

Kacy pls you know what things have been like for me lately, every two weeks something is going on that has me feeling like I'm living the Full Molloy lmao I'll never live down the experience of sitting in my car at 10pm and having that liquor store owner come outside and wave to me while Lixx runs around inside with an armful of bottles of wine for my shot nerves.

Anyways in all seriousness I think about Daniel's speech to Armand when he's dying a lot:

“But don’t you see,” Daniel said, “all human decisions are made like this. Do you think the mother knows what will happen to the child in her womb? Dear God, we are lost, I tell you. What does it matter if you give it to me and it’s wrong! There is no wrong! There is only desperation, and I would have it! I want to live forever with you.”

The refusal to ruminate or get sucked into thinking of all the possible wrong outcomes, that at the end of the day there is no wrong decision there's only action- I think there's something poignant there and I would do better to not be like Armand, convinced everything will turn out poorly in the end.

Arg! I'd hoped to spend sometime planting the pretty flowers I bought yesterday but to my dismay I discovered an invasive weed was mixed in with my Shasta Daisies, which are just about to bloom. The kind of weed that attaches to your clothes and skin. Gloves came out and two hours later, I made a huge dent. Flowers tomorrow.

I had mentioned there were would be additional categories I'd throw into the mix and today I have one I've been anxious to get to. I'm going to call it Magical Elves. They are the people who help make fandom run. I mentioned @phoenixacid in an earlier post, who has been hosting @hd-fan-fair for ten years. This category will cover folks like her and that do even more...yes, even more...

What I'm reading:

On the Discord Drarry Fans Writers and Artists there is a channel for recs. I stole this one from there but then discovered I'd already read it. However, it was long enough ago that I don't remember all of the details. I think I read it when it first came out and before I hopped back into fandom in spring of 2021. The Ordeal of Being Known (146k) by @lou-isfake. I'm only on chapter 3 right now but I just love this Draco and his Oscar the Grouch house-slippers and his house-elf Timsy. The writing is so fresh and clever, I find myself smiling most of the time. Here's the summary, which I think gives you a flavor of the writing style I'm talking about:

When Auror Potter is anonymously cursed with silence by being forced to hide his own voice inside his mind, there's unfortunately only one person in the country with the qualifications to fix it: Certified and Licensed Healer Legilimens, Draco Malfoy, specialist in Mind Curses and Afflictions. It's obviously a terrible idea, a disaster waiting to happen, but Draco's never been able to back down from a challenge... especially from Potter. Features fuzzy cartoon slippers, devious house elves, 90s music, and lots—LOTS—of memories. Ron is annoyingly hot, Hermione sees right through you, Harry is a powerful idiot, and Draco is a reclusive masochist that would buy an entire city if it would make a kid happy. (And Pansy is "5'2, I wanna dance with you, and I'm sophisticated fun.")

The first person I want to highlight in this category is actually someone I've met in person at HP Cons and we've stayed in touch over the years in real life. *hugs darlin* You've probably seen @sassy-cissa's name as an author or maybe an email asking you about a fic for a fest but I'm betting most of you have no idea how much she's done for fandom for more than a decade and half, especially for Drarry fandom.

Let me list the ways in how awesome she is:

The prophet soon closed down after a few more months due to lack of participation (fandom had moved away from LJ).

Just a little reminder that I've slowed down production as far as writing goes. I'm still writing daily. Sometimes it's a sentence, sometimes it's 3k words, but I'm trying to be kinder to myself and remember that it's a hobby, not a job. I also really want to start my novel and stop pressuring myself to finish fics FIRST so I'm doing that.

Regarding misinterpretation of a video or information, I think that's a common thing especially in the world of shippers. The other day I found this Jaedo moment and read one of the comments which said actually Jae at that time mentioned Taeyong while he wasn't there so he was shy or idk maybe just a particular laugh while all this time Jaedoists thought this video was one of Jaedo's moments.

I think there must be a lot of possibilities and perceptions because of course what we watch and hear are videos that are cut, edited (even NCT's own content must go through a lot of editing), even running in script, some of it is information without visual evidence. I think this has been passed down for generations in the shipper world that just believe what you want to believe because it won't hurt you and other people. these few weeks have certainly been tough for some jaedoists (re: me. heh) but what can you do. look at edited videos that full of cut and slowmotion or read their fics and fanart, I think we are more than trained to wait for jaedo in a drought 😂. And last I wanna cherish you cause you answer these qna patienly, I bet there are irritating quetion on your inbox that you should read but huh-nim I truly thank you always on cool headed, have a nice day

This was a JaeDo moment.

I find shippers imagining things and gushing over wrong things normal. It is the nature of shipping in the sense most think of this activity (pretending two people are in a romantic relationship without evidence). Even if I sometimes write a sarcastic comment about one or other ship, I do it from a position of an outsider. The problem only arises when shippers start shipwars because noone has a higher ground. Even JaeDo shippers make mistakes and make fake collages, gluing unrelated photos of Jae and Do or deleting a member between them. Despite JaeDo offering genuine interactions.

How many possible scenarios and correct answers exist depends on the situation at hand. Sometimes, with additional knowledge, the answer is very clear, sometimes, indeed, there could be many explanations (even if one of them is more plausible than the other).

I genuinely don't understand complaining JaeDo shippers. Unless all you want is a daily inflow of new moments and to feel like you get more than other shippers. Shippers like thet resemble those people who mindlesly scroll TikTok and Tumblr waiting for a new funny exciting video or post, that gets boring after one view. As for me, the memory of DJJ era moments still feed the fire in my shipper heart like quality coal, heh.

JaeDo moment videos and year end compilations are hours in length. As a ship it not only has more moments than most others (except for TaeDo, maybe), it has moments of "higher quality", more shippery (romantic and memorable), if you will.

Yes, it would be nice to have Jaehyun openly supporting Doyoung's solo, featuring on his album, sending him a food truck. However, if you look at things from another angle, how a couple of silly ShowChamp chicks are now both living very busy fulfilling lives, starring in tv-series and releasing solo-albums, how far they've come, following their dreams and supporting each other. Think about that JaeDo are releasing their albums one after another, with joined activities (127) inbetween, how they will both go to Italy as BAs in demand, etc, etc.... you won't be so sad, you'll see the "worth its own tv-series" love story.

Hellooo!! I've been reading your fics for a while and you inspired me to start writing! I wanna continue and maybe even post some stuff on Tumblr! (not really mentally stable enough to post on AO3 and or Wattpad atm) I've been thinking of starting a new Tumblr blog just based for fics! I'm unsure how to start it or how to really have it play through or what I should do.. like the formatting or the wording and stuff... I'm still fairly new to making fics so I haven't posted anything, I do have a few fics I've made but I just haven't posted it since I'm still really unsure.

Formatting wise I have some videos on how to make masterlists and linebreakers/page breakers if those are of any use to you?!

Writing/wording wise I would go with whatever is best for you? Sometimes I find that writing in third person is easier but other days it's easier for me to write in first POV and I can change it up when I've finished the piece. I use grammarly a lot as it catches my grammar mistakes but after I place it in a google doc just to change the font and reread it (as I have dyslexia so seeing it in another font helps me pick up on small or big mistakes I make)

My biggest advice to give. Don't pressure yourself about it, take your time and remember why you're doing it in the first place. For example. I love writing as it helps me escape my reality and I really enjoy being able to do what I love on a day to day basis. I remind myself I'm mostly doing it because it makes me happy.

Find a routine that it's great for you. I used to write ALLLLLLLLL the time. When I first started I was post 7 days a week and twice daily (how the fuck I did that I'll never even know) but it wasn't good, I burnt out within about 6 months of doing that and ended up changing it all up. I have a schedule now.

Posting on set days and having it written on your account somewhere can really help too. I do Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and then I have a time I post to as well to help people keep track of everything.

When writing, try and take regular breaks, don't stare at your screen for too long. I try and use the Pomodoro methods. Working for 20 having a 5 minute break, or 30 minutes and a 10 minute break. There are some cool videos out there to help. I've been using a lot of different streamers recently as it helps me focus more.

Okay, so in theory, I'm hoping to have a spooktober fic posted every Monday and Friday. Preferably in the order they're listed (this one is an exception cause I lost my damn mind and it gives me more time to work on a different fic)

But until you see the teaser post (the future ones will tag the relevant user who requested the fic so they know when it's coming out) I haven't finished it yet and, therefore, can't guarantee it's release date.

Doesn't help that my hours are not guaranteed to end the same time every day of the week but my start time is still early as shit. So I really don't have a lot of time to keyboard smash out fics like I could last year (miss those separate, strict shifts sometimes ngl).

I've gotten decent progress on the next one and I know the direction I wanna write it after some mild back and forth, and I also have all the summaries/cheat sheets done for the rest. So all that's left is writing them and, hopefully, putting together a nice little piece of artwork for the fic!

Hoping for an average of 5k but we'll see where we end up landing.

I don't want to rush through the whole thing cause exhaustion is a bitch and it's a little...

A lot of things have happened this year, to be honest, and yeah, stuff has been hard but I've persevered through it. Honestly, being able to end the year while getting a week vacation from work has been pretty nice, not gonna lie, even if I feel a little stir crazy because my daily schedule is thrown off so much haha.

Feels like a little reset where I'll go back to work ready to face whatever technological issue we run into. and putting together three different firewall+switch+ap setups for clients and trying to hire TWO techs

Anyway, the later part of this year has been pretty fun, especially discovering Ghost, because this has been a several month long hyperfixation that I don't see going away too soon haha.
