speaking as someone who hasn't read the original work, Netflix's Nimona was gorgeous and completely wrecked me. can't speak to the quality of the adaptation but on its own it's. wow.

#nimona 2023 #ive ordered the graphic novel and look forward to reading it!#from a quick look through my friend's nimona tag it looks like there were some heavy changes wrt pacing and #the order in which certain things are revealed about the characters #which does change how you view them #and seems to take away from a lot of the commentary my friend enjoyed about the story #which is a shame! and i look forward to discovering all that in the comic #so i think avid pre-film nimona fans may dislike this adaptation #but as i said on its own it is gorgeous and heartbreaking and hhghhg #blue fandom ramblings
