i’m not saying it’s great advice or any type of substantial solution but if you are a trans american and you happen to live somewhere that covers gender care at all and you also happen to need for example surgery for something else that’s gonna blow your deductible/out of pocket max anyway,, might as well try your best to get a gender surgery scheduled in the same calendar year because what i AM saying is that’s what i did and i just had top surgery for only $450.

#sorry i’m just still reeling lol like!! 450!!!!!!!! literally only the things insurance would not have covered anyway #i did also have the misfortune of visiting the ER and that hefty bill did help me finish off the out of pocket at the end there #it was related to the first surgery tho so to my mind it’s all one thing #anyway i expected to pay 1.5-3k for top so. it was a relief.#so i splurged on the plastic surgeons three hundred dollar scare care ointments set. it’ll take me thru the first full yr of scar care tho #and it saves me having to do any research nor order component parts and time that. etc. paying for ease too is what i mean #ferntxt #top surgery
