Really annoyed at all the homophobes review-bombing this show and making it harder for those of us with genuine criticisms -_-
#tlou#the last of us hbo#long long time#I'm disappointed because the themes and characters of the whole series are different#not because there are queer characters in a series that always had queer characters 😑😑😑#like holy shit were they even paying attention????#episode 3 was genuinely a beautiful episode#it just didn't feel like it belonged to the Last Of Us series that I've come to love#so much more hopeful and forgiving and so much less about the depravity humanity can fall to when they lose hope#bill was a hard dude that pushed his love away and practically got him killed#and when he learns about it through a letter he crumples the shit up and moves on with his life rather than dying with him#i just would've liked if they had ONE big fight that split them up and led to his lover's death#THEN with regret he lays down his life next to him#but the showrunners clearly have a different vision in mind for theme and that's okay!!!#I'm just gonna try to enjoy it on its own merit because honestly if this were a new IP I would call that episode 10/10#but as an adaptation only a 7.5/10#it's still good even if it's different 😤😤😤#so i need these bitch baby little homophobic fanboys to stfu and replay the game so the rest of us can continue having an okay time#the last of us
