Eden's kid being pursued by someone who wants to lock them away and is very violent both sexually and physically, Robin's kid being with someone who is extremely codependent to their kid's detriment, Whitney's kid being pursued by a bully who treats them like a sexual object to be passed around, Avery's kid being pursued by Someone much older than them who is very abusive, and Kylar's kid having a creepy obsessive stalker who can be very dangerous.

2a. What about Alex, Corrupted Sydney, Black Wolf, and Great Hawk?

2b. Would this cause the Lis to reflect on how they treated the PC?

3. Though there is no death in DOL what would (High Love) Eden, Avery, Whitney, or Kylar do if they caused the PC to die from physical trauma?

4. Are there plans to make Alex darker to be more in line with the other Lis?

2. Eden wouldn't connect the dots, and would see the aggressor as very different from themselves. Whitney wouldn't either, but would be more receptive were it pointed out, and would feel terrible. Robin would get on well with them. Avery would intervene. Kylar would commit a crime.

2a. Alex would see themselves in them, and feel embarrassed. Corrupted Sydney is likely to encounter this very issue, and might be okay with it, though cautious. The black wolf would want to fight them. The great hawk would think them a good match.

2b. Aye, except Eden.

3. Eden would retreat deeper into the forest, where not even Bailey could find them. Avery would Continue as normal, for a time at least. Whitney wouldn't recover. Kylar would burn half the town, then vanish.

I don't know if this has been noted before but, I think it was in one of the confessionary events, someone mentions the Christian faith. So far | thought the world of DoL had its own faith going on, so | found it weird to see a mention of that. Is it a mistake in the writing or?

Hey, sorry it's not Vrelnir. but I think I can answer a little bit. Avery is actually one of the villains! Although they are LI, they are also villain.

2) In those past Q&A's of Vrelnir (some of which were Q&A's that he and other players privately messaged in Subscribestar) - it's very unlikely that Avery would be able to generate the kind of genuine, romantic love that you're talking about. Or, if they do have love for the PCs, it's almost impossible to detect.

In a scenario where PC was middle aged and their and Eden's kid was 18 like canon PC...If Eden's kid had a sexual/romantic relationship with Kylar, Whitney, Great Hawk, Gwylan, Mason or Doren, how would they react? In a scale from "tolerating" to "| hate you so much" where would the npc be according to Eden's View sexual/romantic companion for their kid?

2. Could you list who is the horniest and less horny out with the current love interests?

3. Were PC to go one day to town to never return until almost two decades later, what would Eden (at High Love) do? Would he keep looking for them or lose all hope and think they're dead? Would he try to get a new companion? How Would it be their reaction when PC returned to them, discovering it wasn't intentional their disappearance? (Either by being kidnapped or loss of memory that prevent them to remember where they lived and who was their beloved)

3.B. Similar to the previous ask, what would it be Eden's reaction to losing their kid, only to find them years later and discover they were living as an orphan at the orphanage? Dates with the LIs (I wish we had more events)

Eden is fond of picnic dates. Dates you can prepare and take down quickly, dates that don't require you to enter the loud and dangerous city. She would have you prepare the food while she cleared out the debris from an area of forest. You'd set a blanket down and eat together, surrounded by the nature you prepared the food from. She'd caress your cheek, thumb trailing to your lip to wipe off the berry juice that coated them and sucking it off of her finger.

Avery likes expensive dates. He likes to show you off as his prize, and what better way to do that than to chauffeur you around in your expensive outfit in his expensive car, to the most expensive restaurants in the city? Most of your dates are more of a performance than anything else. The real Avery comes out once the night ends and he takes you home. Not to a hotel, but to his home. He'd take off your heels and kiss your calves, your thighs, your stomach. He'd thank you for being such a lovely guest, and help you into the shower. Then, the real date night begins.

Sydney likes study dates, away from the library where he spends most of her time working. He'd take you to a secluded part of the chapel gardens, surprising you with a beautiful spread of food and incense he undoubtedly borrowed from the church. The two of you would study together between bites of strawberries you feed each other, giggling quietly in your own little world.

Kylar wants you in her basement. Permanently. But she'll settle for dates in her house. You'd sit together up in her room that she cleaned up just for you, gaming together on her expensive PC. You don't know how she got the money for such a machine but you don't ask, and she let's you play on her spare laptop in return. When she inevitably beats you, she insists on kissing you to make you feel better, but her lips and hands wander. It's not her fault, she just can't get enough of you! She'd whimper and plead with her spindly fingers slipping down the waistband of your shorts for a taste of you.

Whitney isn't really a fan of dates. He's already letting you call him your boyfriend, what else do you want from him? Thoughts on Whitney?

Dude I have too many, although I think seeing more of his family dynamic would clear a lot of it up. Unless he comes from a totally loving family because then what the fuck.

I feel like Whitney craves attention or validation, maybe both, so I'd put money on some kind of negligent homelife. Whitney cares far too much about what other people think of them to have very doting parent imo.

Plus I think it’s interesting that Whitney's insecurity is their looks when they're such an exhibitionist. They seem to have very little reservation about getting naked in public, plus isn’t it confirmed that they’re pretty high up on the beauty scale? (I can’t actually remember what number but I think it was like a 5 or I’m totally misremembering)

Of course that doesn’t doesn’t mean they aren’t insecure about their appearance. However, I think it could also tie into them being insecure about how they look to others, what their reputation is like and how people think of them.

Like with Kylar’s halloween scene, Whitney is scared but refused to run like the rest of their friends and if they PC asks if they are okay after all that they snap at them (“Fuck do you mean…You think there’s something wrong with me”)

There’s also the fact that they are a lot nicer when their friends aren’t around but I don’t really think any of this is is new information, I just think it’s interesting and I really want to know where they’re attitude stems from.

I should make a post of my favourite Whitney interactions cause they have some good ones.

Also, it’s been a hot sec since I wrote that post about Bailey so I can’t remember exactly what direction my brain was firing in but I think the comparison between Whitney and Bailey I wanted to make was how they’ll both sell the PC out of it benefits then it’s just that Bailey is actually doing it for themselves whereas I feel like Whitney’s doing it more from insecurity, comparing those two kind of highlights that Whitney is still in highschool.

How people see Robin as boring, lazy, lethargic, etc... is how I see myself. That's why I created characters that are capable of literally anything financially and supernaturally to protect and provide for Robin. Remember I said I don't know how to love or be loved? I guess deep down, I just want to be protected, like how Lya and Lyah are so devoted to their Robins.

It's just a "me" thing to care for "less-interested" characters. I'm not saying Robin is not loved by many, but their contents clearly are not as attractive as Kylar's yandere trope or Whitney's tsundere trope. And somehow that is perfect for me. I tend to love characters like that, like Xinyan from Genshin, Totter from Arknight, Shouzu (Onmyoji), etc... I love them with such a motherly love it's almost embarrassing to admit. My friends often call me "mother chicken" every time I introduce my new bias to them.

And if I remember correctly, I used to play DoL since maybe 2020 or something? I don't know, long before I stepped foot here, and I was so dumb at it my PC at that time was miserable, even more than Lya in her newbie period. I got bored and quit after, maybe, 3 days.

Time skip. 2023. I saw Gulugulu's post about the game and I suddenly remembered it. And the only thing I thought at that moment was that there was a character that was so good to PC, and they were friends, and I was so dumb I couldn't protect that character... bla bla. Ye, long story short, I started playing because of Robin, and now I'm in deep LOL.

So there you have it: I played the game for Robin. But now I'm pretty invested in Ivory and other lore kinds of stuff too, Robin remains a comfort zone for me. I just love drawing corny sweet lovey-dovey couple and expand my delulus to all of you <3

Since I've been microwaving this AU in my head for some days (or a week?) now, I've decided to share it! DoL but it is a horror movie. It gets gory, warning for that (and perhaps disorganized thoughts)

To start, the situation of PC is not really that different to begin with, they still have to pay Bailey... but now there's murder in the middle! There has been a string of murders lately, and the Temple has been targeted, but some other people not related to it, too. Rumours says the people responsible for this target virgins and chaste people to offer their blood and bodies in demonic rituals, but could that possibly be true..? (Spoiler, it is. The Children of Auriga are the ones behind this). What it is clear, people disappear two weeks before a Blood Moon occurs, and they're either never seen again, or their corpses are found in the forest, near the Temple's garden.

So now poor PC has to work to pay a sudden debt they didn't knew they had, dodge rapists AND try to avoid being murdered, in the case they were deemed to be a suitable target. They can also find love in the way, yay! Bailey keeps them safe, in their own way (even if PC doesn't realize it. Some sort of "things are bad but could be much worse"). But that may or may not be enough.

I'll go explaining the LIs and their roles so far, there are lots of characters after all and I can't possibly fit them all in:

Sydney: The actions the player do with them kind of affect a LOT here. If the Player keeps them pure, they're basically the perfect target for the cult, but they will stay pretty much the same, albeit more paranoid. However, if the Player corrupts them... they not only become a lustful person, but also murderous and way less moral. Not towards the Player, of course, but towards the very religion that he used to find so much comfort in (Jordan is different in their mind and don't have those desires towards them, though). Investigating on their own, going through secret hallways in the Temple, the will find about the cult behind the murders (or the theories about it, at least), and aid them, basically luring innocent initiates that trust them to their death. A gruesome one, too. Basically, whether they're a target or a murderer depends entirely on PC's hands.

Robin: PC's childhood friend, as always. The more the town gets covered in blood, the more paranoid they become, and they start to act like in their traumatized state, distracted and withdrawn. They might pretend they're strong sometimes, depending on how the player treats them, but they're still a scared teen, and it will show. PC may be able to help them be truly strong... or not.

Whitney: Bully with a secret, that secret being the fact they're not dominant all the time, and that one of the reasons they're also a bully is the fact they crave control and status (with a mix of being a genuine asshole and a bit of peer pressure). They're not afraid to play dirty. Scared shitless of what's going on in the town, but they pretend it doesn't affect them. They start as a threat to PC, but that may develop into a relationship where PC can find some sort of protection... from others, anyway.

Kylar: Still a yandere, still full of grudges. Puts PC's wellbeing over their own. Would fight cultists if they had PC with them (and lose, prolly, unless they somehow get their parents involved). Everyone thinks they're the murderer or somehow involved due to being so weird but they aren't, and PC can either fight these rumours, perhaps starting to fall in love as the spend more time with Kylar (to confirm what they know, that they aren't behind the murders, of course!) or believe them, making them worse.

Avery: Sugar Daddy/Mommy, used to getting their way, their wealth is both a shield and a weapon, buying their compliance (and silence) while fueling their sense of entitlement and control. However, among rich people, their status is... bad. They get side eyed a lot. Know more than they let on.

Eden: Isolated and possessive, their love is a cage with bars made of guilt trips, forced domesticity, and maybe a few strategically placed bear traps. Also a literal cage if PC misbehaves. Their definition of keeping PC safe is not letting them go, ever. More comfortable with knives and gutted deer than human interaction.

Alex: They have seen the news, and feels bad for what the townies have to go through, but also glad it will not affect them (or so they think). Having them as LI is one of the best endings PC can have, as they will be away from the town, and completely safe from harm. Maybe.

Black Wolf/Great Hawk: They're animals, but maybe a true love kiss (hallucinations) will make them human! Sometimes. The Hawk's tower is completely safe, so it's definitely the best ending for PC. The wolf cave is also safe, but not that much. There's still the chance for danger.

And these are just the LIs so far! I have information about others, too, but this post is long enough.

Keeping you. And now as he stares at the scattered pile of sketches that the freak had dropped he realizes that he wasn't the only one you have infected.

Just out of the back of the school, Kylar was the last person he thought he would run into but here he was on his knees to start collecting the pages into his arms. Kylar charged Whitney and punched him one more time in the stomach. Whitney winced. The punch stung. but it wasn't hard to shove Kylar back down and away from him. 

Whitney's hand reached instinctively down to hold his stomach as he watched Kylar run, presumably somewhere to hide and cry like the coward he was. 

Whitney was panting, the adrenaline wearing off. He felt a little queezy as He pulled his hand away from his stomach and looked down at it…

Alice and Ellis are just alternate versions of the same person. But i'm thinking of making them twins or something.

Alice feels like she's an empty person. She acts the way she thinks others would want her to act, saying and doing things to get the best advantage out of the situation. All is about money in the end. She doesn't even spend it on anything for herself other than clothes, just to pay debt and fund construction eveywhere.

She has no hobbies, no dreams but to survive, no real life goals and is as dependant to robin as he is to her, although she's pretty sure she loves him the most, she sometimes silently resents him for the double payment, because she thinks he's not trying hard enough when she's out risking her life for him everyday. Also the way he more often than not won't stood up for her in dire situations like with bailey or whitney. I like my fluffy ship a bit bittersweet..

She does like being near sydney but is ashamed of her own behaviors she thinks are unholy, so she kept a distance from him. She fights whitney on sight. About kylar.. she is weak to pathetic people so she protects him from bullies every time yet.. he's kinda making it hard for her to defend his more freaky stuff, she knows of his stalking and arrow shooting but is somewhat happy for the protection and free money (?) She wanted to be protected once in a while because all these years she is the one doing the protecting, she's probably about to snap one day

She gets hurt a lot physically and mentally, so she frequently gets sent to the hospital. She hated going there, but she never learned to fix her bad habbits. Harper is fascinated and thinks of her like an adorable guinea pig, that likes to hiss and bite, or something.

She miserably yearns to be held normally by a parental figure. Her relationship with bailey, avery and morgan is the farthest thing from that, though. Still, she strangely upped her efforts sometimes solely for their validation.

Hawk thinks she's her wife and she just goes along with it. She visits her once a month. While Alice knew the hawk is not malicious, the situation is just too weird for her to process.

She never encountered the wolf or eden, for now. She gets the f out at the slightest bad feeling in the forest, this way she also almost never really confronted the wraith. (Habits of staying up all night) (they still hunt her though because of the necklace)

At first i gave her red eyes because rabbit but perhaps it has something to do with the wraith.

Recently i've started the farm quest so maybe i will add more lore.

I'm thinking she'd have a few outcomes at the end, happy end with robin where they killed bailey and escaped the town somehow, living normally somewhere not here. Happy? End with hawk where she never left the castle forever. Happy??? end with her settling in the assylum as harper's nurse. Bad? End with her just spirited away by the wraith and was never seen again, etc.

About my PC2, Odette, she is a bit older than Alice, she acts like her big sister figure. But one day she's just, gone, sold to the farm. Her hair turned white because of stress, She escaped at one point but never returned to the orphanage. Alice and everyone else thinks she's dead. She just lives at the home of a certain huntress... they're pretty happy together, maybe.

Disclaimer; Crowley’s lore is pretty distant to what actually happens ingame except major events (bro survived the deserted island).

Crowley’s an enigmatic orphan who was instituted at a fairly late age, at around 11 years. They’re very talkative and will rant about basically anything but their past, always avoiding the conversation or straight up refuting to talk about it.

The truth is he’s got some bone to pick with the religious circle in the town, having been a subject to extreme rituals in honor to The Wraith. Actually if you were to see him bare, you’d notice a lot of dry scars which seem like carvings. Ironically enough one of the reasons of avoidance of his past is because he suffers from traumatic amnesia, and some of these memories are really fuzzy. What they do remember is the feeling of a cold blade cutting against his back while others chanted for mercy, and being devoid of any emotion, numb from the pain.

In his first years on the orphanage he never talked to anyone, afraid he'd lash out or say too much, but also, in the back of his mind, he was terrified for everything he got away from to repeat all over again. That was until Robin came up who, even with their own problems at hand, decides to approach Crowley and slowly help them open up.

He's very forgiving to everyone, no matter how much pain theyve brought him, which has caused a lot of trouble. In terms of relationship they're the closest to Kylar and Robin, but Sydney is up there and Whitney and them have a love-hate relationship. Whitney gets upset over how Crowley doesnt seem to hold any grudge and will take the punishment almost as if it was nothing, which is the case in fact. As for Ivory Wraith, Crowley feels like they've seen them somewhere, at a time where pain is all they knew. It hurts looking at the Wraith's eyes, to think about them, to fight against them.

For these reasons his story revolves a lot around the Ivory Wraith and its cult, which is based on some events ive gone through in his playthrough and twisted them a little.

In more of an ooc explanation, Crowley is a very self indulgent character who touches topics very personal to me, such as dysphoria, gender norms, mental disorders, past struggles and so on. I still need to polish it a little but i'll probably make a proper form for when i have it!!

Omg anon is so right about Syd being shoehorned into everything. Like they are written to just be involved with everything like their the main character or the chosen one. Like you're seriously gonna tell me they're deeply connected to the temple, is some kind of vessel for augria, their parent is one of the teachers and the other was the priest (all the temple stuff is a little excusable though because they're the temple li but at the same time Whitney is the delinquent li but they aren't connected to every aspect of the criminal world, abd Eden is the forest npc but isn't deeply intertwined with blue presence, lake temple, etc.), they went to the asylum and knows about Harper's shenanigans, is apparently kylar's best friend and is connected to what happened to their parents, knows about great hawk and I think Morgan somehow, and knows the ivory Wraith personally? And nothing can be like, oh, they saw great hawks species in a book about extinct animals or something, it always has to be an implication that there's something more going on because Sydney is the most important person ever, and they can't just not be connected to things. And I've seen similar arguments brought up only to be shot down with "well the whole game is badly written then because the PC also does a bunch of important stuff" but the PC is the player character. You write those differently than NPCs. A lot of the time when someone writes for someone that is played as in a game, there's an implication that what the player does isn't necessarily all the same person in lore. Like maybe one orphan is doing the church stuff, and another is untangling the hookah parlor.

Sorry this turned into a rant, but the more I thought about how much of a marry sue/main character/chosen one/etc sydney is, the more I wrote

Read the ghost PC and the LI's finding dead PC's body posts and I love angst but nooo my poor Sydney 😭 but that got me really thing about this. What would happen if they ended up being haunted but instead of PC hating them they still love them deeply no feeling change or grudges and tells them they still love them as much as before. But the PC can only physically show up on the blood moon but can talk and interact a little during the day but not for long do a lot like the ivory wraith but won't force the love interests to do anything. So the PC is trying to help the LI's get out of their depression or for like Sydney break them out of the asylum and try to get them somewhat mentally stable.

Bonus note: Since PC is a lot like the ivory wraith and on the blood they are somewhat physically corporal idk why but I feel like maybe the PC also would get horny during this time who would take the chance and fuck the ghost lol?

P!Sydney just thinks he's having another episode and tries to ignore you, even pushing you away. He doesn't want to get in trouble and end up in Harper's office more than he has to. It takes a while to get him to believe that this isn't just his head, it's actually you. He will fight against you trying to help him get out, it will only make things worse. (Might take the chance when he's all drugged up)

Alex once again just thinks he's hallucinating or even dreaming. This can't be real, you're dead, he saw you die. Why can he feel your touch? He tells you just how much he misses you, not caring if you're a hallucination or not. This changes some things for him but he's still a fucking mess. (would take the chance)

Avery gets the fright of his life when you snatch the whiskey from his hands. He screams and jumps up off the couch, "No!" He refuses to believe that you are able to do this. He must be dreaming. This doesn't change anything for him. (wouldn't take the chance)

Eden is in shock, why can you touch him? This shouldn't be possible. He's honestly scared to touch you, afraid he'll somehow hurt you more despite you already being dead. It takes a while for him to come to terms with this, it doesn't change anything for him though. He still isolates himself more than before and refuses to go into town. (might take the chance)

if you don't know, you can get kidnapped by Remy. You can get turned into a cow if you eat grass and get milked. PC mannges to escape the farm and return home.

Robbin: Robbin would be the first to notice you're missing due to you failing to walk to school and walk home with him. He inmiditly noticed Bailey lack of care and put two and together. Bailey sold you, but where? He knows what happens to those who fail to pay him, but he never expected you to be the next. For weeks, he put up missing posters around, hoping it would help. Two months passed. Robbin was about to give up, but then he saw you in the orphanage hallway. He rushes up to you to give you a big hug. Pulling away from the hug, he notices some big differences in your appearance. You have small horns, cow ears, and a tail. Embarrsed and feeling insecure, you begged him not to look at you. Robbin would comfort you, saying that you're not hideous instead your adorable. Your cute cow. Once you fully calm down, Robbin would politely question you about where you have been and how you became a cow. You'll tell Robbin about how Bailey sold you to a cruel man named Remy, who turns people into live stock. As you do, Robbin comforts you drying each tear that drips.

after math: things between you and Robbin wouldn't dramatically change because your part cow except Robbin is trying to fix your eating grass habit. Even though it's probably better than what you're fed at the orphanage. You two are still best friends, you'll still walk together and play video games together. You'll even use your sharpened horns to defend Robbin from bullies. One thing about being a cow is lactation. Your breast will become full of delicious breast milk. Robbin suggested donating your milk to the youth ward. One problem is that you're not allowed in there, so you'll have another orphan to help you with the donation process.

Craving you Kylar pushes his hatred aside and asks him about your wearabouts. Kylar goes completely insane after weeks of you being missing. By the time you return from Remy farm He's completely insane. He'll be staring at your cute cow features as you try to hide yourself. Just staring at your huge breast makes him wanna breed you even more. You could feed all the babies in town with those breasts. Shortly after you return, he's gonna kidnap you any chance he can get. It's gonna be difficult since after being kidnapped, you're gonna be on high alert.

He'll believe everything you say about how Remy men knocked you out and took you to Remy farm. As if Alex needed another reason to hate Remy. He'll call the police on Remy's farm, but the cops probably won't really do anything about it.

After math: From now, every time you milk the cow, you would spend five minutes trying to get the cows respect before milking each one. You'll never tuch the milking machine ever in your life. Alex would never milk you if you're uncomfortable about it. If you're kinky like that, which would be socking if you did because you're innocent and gentle, but if you're into that shit he wouldn't mind it.

Morgan: He emiditly knew you went missing because you escaped. He's heart broken, he lost his child twice. He searched for you everywhere in town but had no luck. A couple of months later, you manage to escape by befriending Remy horse. After everything that happened, you were traumatized and craved someone's love, care, and comfort. You couldn't go back to the orphanage because who knows what Bailey would do to you if he saw you. He sold you to Remy, after all. Using what little money you bought tea flavors, tea cups, new suit for a male, bunch of snacks, and a large basket. You're planning on going back to Morgan, and you hope the gift basket is enugh to fix escaping him. Morgan would be more than happy to see you came back after so long. He loves the gift basket, but you're still gonna be punished for leaving home.

after math: He's too insane to notice any of your cow body parts. He is gonna keep a close eye of you so you don't run away from home.
