absolutely losing my mind because if it wasn't for seungha's extenuating circumstances, he and nari would have been perfect together

seungha's entire story arc was so emotionally draining to read through, like it kept on spiraling downwards and even now, he still doesn't feel comfortable returning to his family. i don't know how he could ever expect to maintain a first love amongst all of this, and it is exceptionally unfair to compare him to chanyang, who by comparison is wealthier and has a stronger family system. no wonder seungha is more reserved and avoidant--he was forced to be, and so when it comes to winning nari's heart, of course chanyang would win because he has never gone through what seungha has gone through.
