okay so first things first what i'd got so far on how i'd think this au would be able to work (just a simple quick explanation aa

- I'd like to think after the final right of the UT true pacifist route, Clover was able to retain some monster magic (just a reeeaal small-almost negligible amount from everyone) and that's what would allow their soul to have a stable/""liveable"" form (sorta)

- As for the other human souls i'd leave that up to interpretation, if you'd like you can probably imagine the same thing would apply for the rest, but it could also work that clover's the only one that ended up this way because they were the closest to "flowey as flowey" so something something make of that what you will (who knows maybe it could be an unfinished business thing lmao-

What’s been going on with Silvia?

An update ft. sticky note doodles

After hearing that her dear friend the Six-Finger’d Scrimshander was living somewhere that wasn’t a house, Silvia has installed it in the guest room of her Side-Streets flat, where they’ve been getting along swimmingly.

Her professional life is going great! Ever since she and Lord Oswald J. Emerson struck a bargain—he writes silly plays, Silvia writes silly reviews, they create public beef that sells tickets and papers—the Prodigal Plebian has practically been printing itself.

Silvia’s also made a new friend, one Youthful Naturalist! She’s been lending him a hand where she can—trying to convince him to move out of his rookery, and keeping her kitchen stocked with jellied eels should he come over, and taking him wherever he wants to go in her zee-clipper.

In the meantime, she’s been growing frustrated with her lack of progress regarding her research on the Third City. If you’ve been with Silvia for a while, you’ll recall that she has been learning Yucatec Maya and chasing leads to discover if there are any pockets of Third City inhabitants untouched by colonialism where she could convince her remaining dad to move with her. (Hm? Inherently contradictory logic? What inherently contradictory logic?)

Enter the Sixth Coil and the freed captives. Several of them are from the original Third City. Silvia follows them to Venderbight, uses her broken Yucatec Maya to explain what she’s after—

They tell her: There’s no such place as you’re describing. We hang around in Venderbight, but even now, there’s nowhere untouched by the Masters, by London.

Silvia presses them—No, there has to be, maybe you just don’t want me there? Why not? Why won’t you let me in?? I promise I’m trustworthy, I won’t tell—

And she finally realizes that she sounds like a fucking conquistador.

Welp! No better cure for a crumbling belief system and self-perception than to zail as far away from your problems as possible! She and the Youthful Naturalist fuck off for a while and that’s when the Delight gets wind of them.

Speaking of wind. The Wax-Wind catches up with Silvia’s ship. Silvia gets a bad burn across the right side of her neck and shoulders.

Not to just rehash everything that happens ever in Evolution, but, uh, shit hits the fan, Silvia gets pretty traumatized. But secretly she’d glad that she’s helping the Youthful Naturalist, proud of both of them. Her search for precolonial Atlantis failed. But here’s another basket to put some eggs in. If they crack the secret to life and death, well, no one else will have to die like Silvia’s other dad, they can have all the time in the world to create their own utopia.

And the other basket of eggs is the Marvellous. She’s been so busy she’s scarcely had time to think of it [I’ve been on the lodging grind for 3+ months ;_;]. But can’t she just win and make the Masters let go of everything, set everyone free, end imperialism, or whatever? That’s how it works, right?

Oh, by the way, no one knows she’s been doing this shit. Not her father-ish figures, not her flatmate, not her partner, not her best friend, not her newspaper employees. Just her crew, and they are pretty pissed at her right now, so she’s been avoiding them.

Around this time, Silvia gets a letter from Shaw (one such father-ish figure) explaining about Nemesis and saying he might not make it back from his final revenge quest.

ALSO around this time (or maybe right after) Silvia gets what really sounds like a last will and testament from Jones (other father-ish figure).

And ALSO also around this time, Brett (Silvia’s best friend) is recovering from learning of the death of his partner.

Then Silvia forgets to be careful, and Caoimhe (her partner) sees her burns and asks what’s going on. She doesn’t buy Silvia’s story about a cooking accident she forgot to tell Caoimhe about (Silvia never cooks), and she really doesn’t appreciate that Silvia tried to lie. Caoimhe gives Silvia the chance to come clean.

So it all comes out. The Marvellous. The scientific voyages. The experimental surgeries. The multiple supernatural enemies. Caoimhe is appalled that Silvia would be taking all these risks without saying a single word—she thought the most dangerous shit Silvia was involved with was printing ill-advised articles about powerful people. Caoimhe’s extraordinarily patient and supportive, but Silvia didn’t even tell her!

The breach of trust frays at their relationship and drags Silvia further into guilt and despair, especially because Silvia’s support network is spread rather thin at the moment!

So… here we are. Silvia’s standing in the crumbling ruins of her relationships and ideals. She needs to help this 20-year-old cheat death, and then she needs to beat a bat at cards, and she’s so, so sad about everything.

MAGSEV UPDATE!

Hello hello!!! I’m back so soon!! As of right now at an unholy hour of the night, I’ve finished writing Magsev S1!!! EXCITING!!!

My plan from here on out is that I’m going to proofread and start drawing up the rest of the thumbnails so I can get a comfortable backlog so that I can start releasing the episodes sometime in August! I’m aiming for the first week of August since that’s when I’m back from my holiday!

In the meantime, I think I’ll host a more formal pre-season Q&A at some point so that people can warm up to Magsev by being a little more involved with it! And I’ll try to drop some establishing doodles if I have time!

Hmmm, I catched up on a lot of shows. I've already posted my reviews on TUA S4 (🤢🥴💔💀🥲) and KAOS (🥹💖😚🥰❤️‍🔥) (i am indeed re-watching it), but I also finished Emily In Paris (LOVE the Italian guy, second part was much better than the 1st), and FINALLY watched S2 of Fleabag (oh my GOD YOU GUYS!!! I AM IN SHAMBLES!!! WOAH!!! PAIN AND AGONY!!! 🥺💔).

Uhhhhhhhhhh I think that's it. I need to cut my hair and bangs. Hope everyone has been eating good and drinking water and missing me a lot 😤🫵

fgkfkg okAY I just feel bad that in the brainworm inducing Taki Fuego dynamic, all Canon Convos and Artwork I’ve highlighted have gravitated around Loki and Tory together as just a duo, just cause it’s always Tory that gets these deep impassioned emotional conversations with him. Yes Maci appears in these upcoming comic updates but still this is fully accidentally the EeL & Tory show. The OoC reason for this is….. partially bc I write both Maci and Loki and there’s only so much talking to myself I can do lmfao, but the In Universe reason is genuinely that Maci is just NOT the person to go to to have impassioned emotional conversations with, she just is NOT. Maci is absolutely full of love and affection!! emotional maturity is not under that umbrella. But but but!!!

Like, aaahhh she’s here too don’t forget she’s here too, in fact dare I say she’s absolutely integral to the entire dynamic as the person who sHOVED THE TWO OF THEM TOGETHER IN THE FIRST PLACE, and eagerly lit the fuse that ignited all three of them BUT particularly EeL and Tory to bond. ‼️And she ABSOLUTELY is just as obsessed w EeL as Tory is and absolutely loves him as much as Tory does‼️it’s just that HER love language is more along the lines of,,

(& to Loki’s absolute aghast dismay he’s as obsessed with her as he is Tory TOO. augh!)

i have a bit of a long answer to this, so i hope you don’t mind me replying as a post, just in case anyone else is curious

the tl;dr is: i'm planning to write a fic for this AU, but i'm happy to read your fic as well with proper credit

first thing is: i’m overjoyed by the positive response to this little AU! it’s definitely been occupying my mind as i’ve been studying (Eclipse is notably the most distracting) so i’m glad there’s an interest in such a simple premise—i was honestly hesitant to call it an AU at first by how simple an idea it is

that being said, i’ve been hinting at it a bit in some of my tags, but i am planning to write a fic for this AU it’s still in the planning and drabble stage, but there is definitely a story that i’m hoping to share. unfortunately, i am currently attempting to speedrun a 2 year program, so my time is short—and my leisure time is split between my other competing ideas and inhaling other people’s creative works to revive me after my daily readings

i will say that the AU has evolved quite a bit since my initial drawings—new designs, more background info, and a healthy dose of lore and trauma for the entire main cast—so there’s a lot i’m excited to share with you all

THAT BEING SAID, i am always eager to encourage other people’s creativity and i am so honoured that my little doodles can inspire people to be creative. so i would absolutely love to see your fic, i just ask that you:

credit me if it uses my designs and ideas; and

send me a link so i can read it, because i will read it and i will treasure it and do a silly little dance

in case anyone's curious, here are some not-too-spoilery notes about what i’m planning:

the working title is “New Do, Same You” (honestly still iffy about it—it fits the story but it doesn’t quite ring well, we’ll see if i keep it)

it’s a slice of life story about how we respond to change, dusting ourselves off and moving forward, while carrying the baggage and fragile trinkets that define us

off the top of my head, these are some relevant tags: Slow Burn, Romance, Polyamory, Hurt & Comfort, Drama, Slice of Life, Non-Sexual Intimacy, Kissing (eventually), Humour, Possessive Behaviour, Healthy and Unhealthy Coping Mechanisms, Inferiority Complex, Body Dysmorphia, Existential Dread, Fluff, nothing NSFW

will likely default to a T rating, but will bump up to M for heavier topics

it will definitely be more than 5 chapters long. i don’t have an estimate on how long the fic will be. it's nothing too grand but i do know it will need quite a bit of time in order to properly explore all 3 of the boys and Y/N

there will be a Y/N, and Y/N has some lore, but other than some key backstory and key areas of development, i try to keep them gender neutral and as ambiguous as possible

i’ll be sharing the updated designs and some drabbles here when i have time—as soon as i can! (a little sneak peak is actually scheduled to post sometime today!)

i’ll also admit that this is my first time planning to write such a big fic and the first time i’m considering sharing it with other fans! my writing muse is very shy, so please be patient with me

Another Pepperman x Reader fic

Inspired by my friend @pervertedindividual and this silly doodle :3

You eyes drift lazily down to your watch. Where the hell is he? A frown tugs at your lips. It had been far passed when Pepperman had told you to meet him here. This was unlike him. You scan your surroundings once more, hoping to spot a flash of red anywhere. Phil was always on time.

As twenty minutes turned to thirty you pull out your phone. The name "Precious Pepper" flashes across the screen as you attempt to call. Worry invades your thoughts as you hear the voicemail play. Was he ok?

Footsteps started out faint but grew louder as someone approached nearby. If he doesn't get here in the next ten- Your thoughts were interrupted by a cough. As you glance to the side you realize a person is standing beside you. You quirk an eyebrow as his gaze remains locked onto you. 

"Can I help you?" You ask, unable to keep the irritation from your voice, the person was much closer than you'd have liked.

His expression brightened as he take another step closer to be right next to you. "Do you believe in love at first sight, or should I walk by again"?

"Go ahead. I need to practice hitting a moving target." You deadpan taking a small sidestep away. As they drew nearer again you cast a small sideways glare. "I have a boyfriend".

You feel your body get warmer as anger begins to course through your veins. 

"Can I buy you a drink?" He asks, undeterred. For a briefly moment you daydream about having karate skills and ripping this loser's lungs out as that smug expression remains plastered onto their stupid face. 

In response roll your eyes. You desperately wishing to be somewhere, anywhere, else right now. "I'd rather just have the money". Pulling out your phone you busy yourself with typing a message to Pepperman, hoping this loser would get bored and leave. 

Deep breaths. Phil told you to meet him here forty three minutes ago. He's still not here. You feel your eye twitch as the person continued trying to get your attention. That's it. You're going to do it. 

"Are you an orphanage? Because I want to give-" the stranger lets out a scream as a red blur intercepts you both. With glee you watch as he careens through the air straight into the bushes. 

"Oh thank god!" You sigh in exasperation. "I was about to knock his ass out"!

"Apologies my Y/N" Pepperman raises a hand to caress your cheek with his thumb. He cups your face gently, but firmly, looking you in the eyes. "I'm here now. It's alright".

"Why were you so late?" You whine.

"Something kept me." His face fell "I hadn't planned to be so late. I do understand if you do not wish to go on our planned date".

"Of course I want to." You take his hand in yours, placing a kiss to the back of his hand. After that, you watched his face light right back up. 

"Now then? Shall we go"?

You nod enthusiastically, weaving his hand with yours as you skip across the sidewalk. "So where ARE we going"? Typically your dates consisted of going to museums, cafes, or creating art projects together. 

"You'll see my dear. I have sonething new in mind. But first-" you let out a surprised yelp as your feet no longer touched the ground. In a fluid motion Pepperman scooped you up, carrying you in his arms. 

"You are amazing, and I love that I get to be with you." He whispers, kissing the top of your head. Pepperman's eyes widened as your forehead now had a bright red splotch. 

"What?" You tilt your head up at him curiously. 

"N-nothing." He stammered, moving his arms down and -in turn- pulling you just a tiny bit further from his face. You shoot Pepperman a dubious squint. He chuckled nervously. "Aha...the weather is excellent for being outdoors today, don't you think"? 

Please don't stare. Oh goodness does Y/N see it? I thought I had covered it quite well. 

You hum happily in his arms, making Pepperman blink and look down at you. "It sure is! Are we going to be outside today"?

He holds you a little tighter and chuckles lightly. "Perhaps so my dear. But I'll give you a single hint to where we are going." He carefully leant forward and whispered into your ear. He returned your grin as your eyes widened and smiled brightly up at him. You let out a small whoop, not caring that a few people looked in your direction. Today was going to be great.

Earlier that day

"No no no! You can still see it"! Pepperman groans, hurriedly grabbing another face towel and wiping the makeup off. How many times had he done this now? Five? He lost track as his heart was thudding in panic as his eyes darted to the clock from the mirror.

He was late. UNfashionbly so. Pepperman dried his face before carelessly tossing the fabric to the side.

It was a race to get ready and Pepperman was losing. Assorted red hues speckled the counter top as rushed strokes met his skin. Eyes constantly were meeting the clock throughout as he applied and blended the colors. Was this color too dark? This one was too light and you can still see those dogged blemishes

Why did he have to get a nasty bout of pepper acne the day of your date?

From the other room his phone was ringing loudly. Drat. That must be Y/N. He looked down at his hands which were smudged with shades of red. Guilt etched into his face, if he answered then there would be an even bigger mess to clean.

Hold on my dear Y/N, I'm on my way. Momentarily. 

At last Pepperman was ready. He may be thirty minutes late but every spot was successfully covered. Hurriedly he shoved a few items into his bag and quickly made his way out the door, hoping you wouldn't be too upset.

It has been a reflection type of day and I just wanted to poke in and say thank you to folks that keep supporting me and my silly art, doodles, or projects. That includes whether you like it reblog it or share your thoughts with the wonderful comments on it! Keeps this online artist enthusiast to share the many brain rots and ideas and remember that perhaps art is worth to challenge and keep on experimenting, and can actually be significant to others. To clarify I still head deep with oc stuff just I'm still adapting to a lot of new schedules, but I really gotta get into them!!! I keep learning so much from pieces that drift into my feeds and meet so many interesting people who poked some of you in AF but sadly I couldn't get to a lot of you that I wanted. Still hope to see you on the next AF if you all join! I gotta say though I haven't been feeling my typical self idk if its the burn out or the constant things I gotta check up on but .. idk just feeling tired so apologies if I am still slow. I took a break these days and taking it a bit easier but one can only rest so much when so many ppl depend on you
