So I was listening to the Silmarillion audiobook and it got to the bit about the Third Kinslaying and Pegweneth kicked down a door in my brain and yelled, "I'M HAVING MY WAKE-UP MOMENT!" and I said, "Awesome, give me the lowdown," and she said, "PEOPLE NEVER REALLY CHANGE, THEY JUST PRETEND TO," and I said, "Yeah, that's something I've already established that you believe, tell me more about it," and she said, "MAEDHROS IS A SACK OF SHIT," and I said, "Okay, okay, well I think you're kind of ignoring some of the nuance of the situation," and she said, "AND YOU'VE PUT ME IN THE GREY COMPANY FOR WEEKS WITH HER," while pointing a shaking finger at the nebulous concept of Indarant in the back of my subconscious and I said, "Is that gonna be a problem?" and she said, "WHAT DO YOU THINK?" and I said, "Well, you know what this means I hope," and she said, "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU ON ABOUT?" and I said, "Somebody is about to swear some kind of oath I think," and now she's sulking
