I was partway through making a post about other miscellaneous things Clark probably should have noticed being weird about Gravity Falls and how it's nuts that he didn't notice the literal memory erasing cult for like eighteen years. Then I was like, yeah, that's too nuts that he didn't notice the memory erasing cult. So, alternate suggestion, Clark just Handles It when he's like thirteen and he realizes his friend Soos doesn't remember them getting into a fistfight with some of the arcade characters last week. So Clark spends like two days figuring out what happened to Soos and how, then he spends half an hour wandering around town x-ray vision-ing everything until he finds the Blind Eye's headquarters (he also finds so much other random shit), then he walks right in while everyone is gone and breaks everything and then leaves. And because the cult doesn't know how to build their own memory guns they just kinda toss their hands in the air and go "welp" and that's the end of that.
