Long post. Probably. There's a lot.

CW: Quick occasional mention of blood as it's relevant to my quirk, although no graphic descriptions of violence or anything similar!

Uhmmm where to start. I'm a villain (22yrs in-source) and was recruited to the League sometime shortly after Dabi and Toga and have been with them ever since! My quirk doesn't have an exact name, however my blood has healing properties if people consume it. (I remember hearing that Toga insisted I join because it was an excuse for her to be able to drink.) Shigaraki was reluctant at first because I had never had any experience with actual villain-y things (according to Asahi, intro later, and neither of us know what he meant but ok), but realized a healer who could come along on missions would probably come in handy, even if the healing was through unorthodox means. Soo that's basically the long story short of me joining the league.

I also have other non-canon sourcemates! Uhmm Asahi (28yrs), who has a tarot related quirk and is basically the big brother I never had. Asahi's adopted kid, Bee (11yrs), a very nice boy who never really does any actual villain work but uhm. People like him (including me! He's polite and doesn't cause trouble so nobody really minds him) so he stays. Also Asahi would hate being separated from his son soo. Yeah. Keiko (16yrs), a girl with a cat quirk who's like. Weirdly good at using weapons? I don't even know how she learned to use them but. Oh well. There's also Mio, Riku, Hatsumi, Seiko, Lucy and Eighty-One but if I talked about them all we would be here for way too long. This is about me! However I may also talk about them some other time.

This is not going to be organized at all. Uhm. Oh gosh. Let's talk about relationships?? Obviously what I say here does not apply to other irls, fictionkins, fictives, etc of these characters, it is simply how they were in the timeline where I existed. Ok? Ok. Right off of the bat, me and Shigaraki were dating for a while (I say this because my memories of the more recent events in the series- Because of things being complicated as the final war started, dating makes things complicated so. Uhm. Yea?). Obviously when we first met we weren't anything special, but as time went on we became official, although Shigaraki never really liked being affectionate in front of anyone, even the League. This is why I consider him my f/o and get upset if people say they're his partner or whatever :'D (although in the end, the only thing that matters to me is that he's happy and doing alright.) He was also bi in my timeline, if that means anything to spinaraki/shigadabi shippers, lmao.

Uhmm other canon characters.. Dabi and I were on pretty good terms, I guess? Not bad, not amazing, but naturally because I was the healer of the group, he didn't really have a bad opinion of me. As far as I know, nobody really did. You know how people call the LOV something like a family? The way I remember it, I'd say that isn't very far-off. The League allowed Bee to have a father, Hatsumi to have acquaintances and even friends, Toga to have some friends her own age who wouldn't think badly of her because of her quirk, etc etc. Sure, us being villains certainly added a lot of complication to us being friends, family or romantic partners but nonetheless we cared about eachother.

Nothing was really canon breaking aside from there being like, eight extra villains with their own backstories that may or may not affect a few things. Like, for example, because of Riku, there's now a well-known family who's responsible for lots of the pharmaceutical industry. Because of Seiko, who screws with the canon a solid bit more than the rest of us, there just so happened to be another Todoroki child. Because of Lucy, there's a well-known pro hero who went rogue. Mio is another assistant of AFO's, specifically aiding Garaki around his lab (apparently at first it was just cleaning, but she's eventually became a very good scientist herself with some knowledge of medicine and such). So I mean.. On our own, none of us (me, my noncanon sourcemates) really break the canon, but I guess us all existing together has kinda made our canon uh.. a little tiny bit canon divergent, to put it softly. But I love all my sourcemates, the only thing that sucks is I'll never see my noncanon ones ever again. Shigaraki is definitely the one I miss the most, though, but because I'm noncanon I heavily doubt there's any Shigarakis out there who remember me :'D

Okay, wow, that was a lot for something that didn't even really scratch the surface of who I am or who my noncanon teammates are, but uh.. Maybe I should continue that rentry wiki thing. I was working on a massive rentry with information about me, my past, my relationships/opinions of others and as well as some mini bios for my noncanon sourcemates because. I guess. If there's no fandom wiki for you, make one yourself! But it's been taking a VERY long time, sadly, just cuz there's so much to work on. But hey, who knows, maybe someday I'll finish it (or have it done enough that I feel comfortable sharing it with you guys, for those who want to read it?)

     The sea breeze ruffles through blond locks as he lounges on the sun-warmed sand, his bare feet stretched out towards the glittering body of water. Judging by the reds and oranges beginning to streak across the cloudless sky, nighttime is swiftly approaching. Ven shifts in anticipation, finally casting his silent companion a curious glance. 

     The two of them have scarcely spoken a word to each other since Ven convinced Riku to accompany him on a visit to his homeworld, but never once has the silence between them felt uncomfortable. If anything, Riku’s presence is somehow familiar and comforting all at once. As reliable and constant as the ocean lapping against the shore, steadfast, like the earth upon which all things stand upon. Ven chalks up to the numerous years he spent within the safety of Sora’s heart ( a firsthand witness to the journies the young boy embarked on, the trials he overcame with his Keyblade in hand, the friends he made and lost and found again ), but he feels like he already knows Riku. And yet, no matter how fond the emotions and memories that stir into wakefulness in his presence are, Ven knows they aren’t really his own, and so he casts them aside with a small smile, his hands sinking into the sand as he leans back on them and watches the sun begin to steadily slip beneath the horizon.

    “ It’s weird, but sometimes I kinda feel like I know this island like the back of my hand. ” Ven muses suddenly, wriggling his toes deeper into the sand as another wave laps lazily at his ankles. His lips twitch into a half smile. “ Guess I spent so much time here in Sora’s heart that it already feels like home. He always made everything feel so warm and bright. ”

     He tilts his head to peek across at the boy sitting beside him, his smile turning contemplative. It’s the place where they first met, too— when Riku dived into Sora’s heart to wake him up after their exam went horribly wrong ( Ven did everything he could to shield Sora from the darkness seeking to prey on him, holding out for Riku’s certain arrival ), but the memory of their brief interaction is vague and fuzzy, like trying to peer through frosted glass. But it’s one of the few memories that Ven can certainly claim as his own. 

     He wonders, absently, if it’s a memory Riku shares.

Tsuyu Can (Not) Be Trusted: A UA Traitor Theory

So when BnHA 320 dropped a couple days ago, @redblossxmm wrote a very interesting meta post that immediately grabbed my attention. In it, she goes over the chapter cover and the possible symbolism that might be at play. At first when I read it I was like "oh, that's kind of funny, wouldn't it be wild if Tsu was the UA traitor all along". But then I got to talking it over with @rikusoma on Discord and...yeah guys, Tsu might actually be the traitor.

I would just like to say before we get started that all of this is conjecture and based on a lot of admittedly circumstantial evidence. There has not been a lot of heavy handed evidence one way or the other on who the traitor even is (and if we’re being 100% honest, my primary traitor suspect isn’t even a student), but there’s still some fun stuff we can look at that could at least be considered setup against Tsu if that trigger gets pulled.

First off, I want to talk about how weirdly...in focus Tsu has been, especially in the early arcs. So far Horikoshi has only written two bonus chapters for MHA: a 5 page omake included in the character guide that highlights Bakugo's feelings after the 1st semester final exams, and a chapter completely about Tsuyu, her family, and the only friend she had growing up in middle school. Unlike the other bonus chapter though, this one was actually included in Shonen Jump with one of the chapters, and it later reappears in Volume 10.

What’s weird about this is that we ONLY see her family in this little bonus chapter. We actually do get to see a lot of the other families of class 1-A, but we DON’T see Tsu’s family. Horikoshi could have given us Tsu’s backstory and family organically in the story (or in a one page omake, he’s done a few of those, mostly notably in the chapter right before DvK2), but no, she gets a whole short chapter all to herself.

Tsu also gets a whole anime episode to herself (the first filler episode as well) in the vs Stain arc in season 2. What’s weird is that the episode opens with checking in on the other students and seeing how their internships are going, so that momentum could have been continued if they needed to fill time, but instead the entire back half is all Tsu. This should have some payoff later on, or it will have just been wasted narrative space (although since its filler, it could be argued that its empty space being wasted anyway, so it’s not as big a deal).

Now let’s get into some specific things I noticed that we can chalk up to “there are no coincidences”. First, Tsu getting dumped into the water during the USJ attack. Deku attributes this up to the LoV not knowing their power sets, but honestly Tsu is the only one who comes out on top here, compared to the other kids. Deku himself is stuck on a boat, so there’s not a lot of room for him to get going and fight, Bakugo gets blown into the ruins so there’s not a lot of room for him to do things without accidentally blowing himself up, Ojiro is surrounded by fire so he’s also going to have maneuverability issues, Tokoyami’s in the dark so Dark Shadow can’t be used effectively, etc. The low level thugs probably did not know the students' quirks because of how they reacted to Mineta’s goo balls, but if the traitor is a student and told the LoV about the class, then Kurogiri would definitely know. This would be a good opportunity to convince the rest of the class that Tsu was on their side, especially if she was able to be in her element and work as a team player.

Tsu also spends this arc adamantly trying to convince her classmates to call her “Tsu” instead of Asui, a cutesy diminutive of her full first name (like Deku using “Kacchan” for Bakugo, a shortening of Katsuki-chan). It’s interesting that she’s trying to get the boys to call her this too. While it’s fairly common for high school girls to give each other cute names, asking male classmates to also do it is honestly a little bit weird. She also calls everyone “-chan” throughout the story, which is interesting considering she’s once again lumping in the boys and the girls. You could interpret this as her trying to force a connection with the class, trying to be cute to create an air of friendship and intimacy quickly, along with getting them to drop their guard.

Next, let’s look at the Bakugo kidnapping arc. Tsu is not the only person who thinks it's a bad idea to go, but she is the one that most vehemently opposes it, comparing the mission to acting like a villain because you’re working outside of the rules. This is an extremely harsh thing to say, especially to Deku, who just broke both of his arms saving Kota and STILL pushed himself to try and rescue Bakugo and Tokoyami from Mr Compress. Seems to me like she’s very desperate to keep Deku and the rest home, enough to go for the freaking jugular like that. I could also bring up Tsuyu keeping Bakugo away from Deku in chapter 303 (because I’m convinced that if Bakugo had been able to talk to Deku he wouldn’t have run away), but the whole class was on board for that so whatever.

And now let’s get to the big one: Tsu has had two different near misses with the LoV so far. Shigaraki almost grabbed her face during the USJ attack, but it took just long enough that Aizawa was able to save her. Later on, during the Camp Training arc, Toga has her pinned to a freaking tree, but she talks JUST ENOUGH for Ochako to get the drop on her. As a counterpoint, Toga does NOT hesitate at all while trying to go for Ochako’s blood, immediately sticking her and grabbing some before making her retreat. Both times Tsu was put in enough plausible danger to make it seem like she was being threatened, but she wasn’t actually harmed in a significant way.

There are a couple other things we could point to (like how she’s on the cover for chapter 320, along with how weird it is that the chapter just randomly ends on her face, when a more dramatic ending would have probably been when Todoroki encased Deku in the wall of ice), but I think we’ve covered most of everything. To summarize: Tsuyu gets a lot of narrative space given to her despite not really being a relevant character. She is often getting put into danger without actually getting hurt, and Horikoshi has put a lot of effort into making her seem like a gungho team player that will do anything for her friends. Having Tsu be the traitor would make a lot of seemingly unconnected things make a lot more sense, and I think it would be a really good gut punch to have that rug pulled out from under us by her.

Now of course, we have the shakiest part of this theory: what would be Tsu’s motive? Well what little we know about her family is that her parents are often working and therefore she’s responsible for taking care of her younger siblings. It’s possible that she somehow got into some kind of vigilante/mercenary work in the underground in order to support her family. That would go a long way in explaining why she’s always so level headed under pressure (a lot like Bakugo, who also has a lot of experience in fighting, since he used to both bully and get bullied). Alternatively, AFO or the LoV has her family somehow, and she’s being coerced into it. Either way, I definitely think her family would be her motive here.

So in short, Tsuyu is 100% the traitor and clearly this is undeniable. Thank you to Blossxm for making my brain start turning, and thank you Riku for being my springboard the past couple days while I rambled about this ridiculous idea. Can you explain Riku's family in the ABO au? I have a feeling that it will be interesting.

Oh yeah, Rikus family is pretty intense. So his dad is Vincent Valentine. (Btw i love the name Riku Valentine it sounds so good) His dad was the son of Hojo and was used as an assistant/guinea pig. (Hes like the the old Ienzo becuz thats his role right now with Vexen) Vincent and Cloud lived in the organization masion together as kids and Cloud became extremely protective of home, even though Vince is older. When the group got Cloud out, they also got Vincent out. After a lifetime of being trapped in the mansion, he left to travel a bit to find himself.

A few years in his travels, he met Lightning Farron in a bar one night. They were both off that day and got plastered. They had a one night stand and never saw each other again. Lightning was fighting in the war of Eos where shes from and has been fighting with her friends for years. She was in America at a base at the time and honestly she didnt even know she was pregnant until she went into labor. She was still in the middle of a battle and eventually handed Riku off to her sister, Serah, and told her to find Vincent (the only person she felt couldve been the father) and she disappeared into the battle and was never seen again (shes presumed dead, but im pretty sure shes not but definitely awol)

Eventually Serah and Snow tracked down Vincent, who was just about to stop traveling and come back to Destiny Island and his friends. He was completely shocked but they did confirm he was Rikus dad. Vincent promised to care for Riku while they went back to the war and to look for Lightning. Vincent returned to his friends with a 1 year old Riku and honestly nothing else to his name. His friends were incredulous to say the least. The crew (Cloud and Squall, Zack and Aerith, Tifa and Rinoa, Arthur and Francis, Barrett, and Yuffie) all helped him out getting him a home and job. Vincent becomes a really caring doting dad, even though he kinda sucks at keeping a job and honestly a lot of the abuse that he went through in his childhood was starting to take a toll on his body. Riku grew up loving his dad and wanting to help him out however he could. It stared with him taking care of the house while his dad worked job after job. And eventually preteen Riku wanting to become independent to relieve stress from his dad was dragged into the organization, not knowing the ties his dad had to them. Riku wont find out until he leaves and the organization only had a suspicion but didnt realize it until the end of the organization time. (There is gonna be a a confrontation during the LOV/scientist battle in college involving Hojo)

The only other family Riku has is Mai Valentine, his cousin. (Their dads are brother that got separated as babies and reunited during Vincents travels.) Mai adores Riku and her other cousin, Yugi. (Riku and Yugi aren't related but became close through Mai. They treat eachother like cousins) Theyre all protective of eachother. Plus though he lived alone with his dad all his life, Aunt Yuffie always pops in at random times and just chills with him. The entire crew love Riku like a nephew. Ephemer and Skuld love him like a cousin too. And of course, he and Sora have been in love since they were babies.

“Don’t be mad!” Kairi shouted, storming through the double doors of the cafe kitchen, bracing herself on the countertop. Cheeks red and breathing hard, looking up at Sora, she held back a startled nervous giggle at Sora’s wide eyes, his whisk held in the air like it was his keyblade, whipping cream dripping all over the tile.

“What are you-”

“I kissed Riku,” she blurted, “I don’t know. It was stupid. And I shouldn’t have. But I-” she bit her lip and Sora just stared for a moment, heart doing the weirdest acrobatics in his chest. “Sora, I’m so, so sorry. Please don’t-”

“Whoa, whoa. Kairi! Slow down!” he said, putting the whisk down and reaching up to run his fingers through his hair nervously, muttering an apology to Little Chef. He’d nearly combed him clear off of his head. He sighed. “What are you apologizing for, anyway?” he asked, not meeting her eyes. “There’s nothing wrong with Riku. Not like you were out kissing Xehanort.”

“Oh, gross, Sora,” she said, face twisting, “Xehanort’s old enough to be my great grandfather. Plus the whole evil thing ...”

Sora grinned, “Yeah. See that would have been weird.”  

“It was still weird,” she said quietly, picking at the hem of her skirt, frowning, “I feel horrible about it.”

Sora shook his head, “I don’t understand. Why would you -”

She sighed. “Olette had a party last night,” she said, “Just a small thing, Hayner, Pence, Roxas, Axel … and Riku. We were going to invite you, but-”

“I had that date.” Sora said and Kairi nodded.

“Yeah. How’d that go by the-” Sora raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms over his chest.

“Nuh uh. Don’t change the subject,” he said. “You. Riku. Kissing. Talk.”

She sighed.

“Axel got a little creative with the ice pops,” she said. “And by creative I mean I don’t know how he actually got them to freeze with all the alcohol in them.”

“So … tale as old as time you guys all got drunk and started making out?”

Kairi slapped him on the arm. “No!” she said half laughing, half in offense, “Well, not me and Riku anyway. The others did their drinking games and all, but we kinda stayed off to the side.”

“Huh.” Sora said, then flinched and rubbed his arm, spinning to see Remy glaring at him and pointing firmly at the bowl Sora had been mixing in. “Oh, sorry Little Chef,” he said sheepishly. “One sec, Kairi, gotta get this in the fridge.”

“I think we’re gay.” Kairi spat out and Sora very nearly dropped the bowl. He stumbled, caught himself on the door handle and shoved it inside, then spun.

“Wha?!” he exclaimed, and Kairi exhaled loudly.

“I asked him if it was okay if I kissed him first - I figured since he’s, well, he’s attractive, right? I mean, Selphie used to go on and on about it way back when. So, I thought I’d know for sure if I was or wasn’t. If I did.” Sora squinted at her.

“You could've asked me, you know. I would’ve.”

Kairi sighed. “Yeah, but you had actual real feelings about me once, you know? I didn’t want to chance hurting you or give you the wrong idea.”

“So you asked Riku,” he said, stomach sour, “You couldn’t have just asked a girl? Olette was there, right? She likes both.”

Kairi turned bright red and shook her head fiercely, “That’s -” she sighed, “That’s kinda the problem.”

“Oh! You like-”

“Shh. Yes. Don’t tell -”

Sora mimed a zipper closing over his lips and nodded, “So … So you said ‘we’ earlier? You think Riku is -” he trailed off watching Kairi’s face morph from surprise to complete disbelief.

“You’re kidding, right?” She said and scanned Sora’s face, jaw dropping. “Oh my god, you’re serious. Sora. Really?”

Sora rolled his eyes, “What?” he said with a bit of a whine. “Riku is Riku. I guess I never thought about it.”

Kairi gaped at him. “I wouldn’t usually out anyone, but Sora, come on! Riku’s not exactly hiding it. I mean he’s been in lov-” Kairi’s eyes widened and she squeaked, then clamped a hand over her mouth. She stood abruptly. “I should go,” she said. “I misjudged this whole - Riku’s gonna kill me.”

In the span of moments, the kitchen doors opened again, Kairi spun on her heels to make her escape, and ran straight into Riku who apparently had thought this was a good time to show up. Riku caught her by the shoulders and held her at arms length, quirking a brow.

“You okay there, Kairi?”

Kairi flinched a bit, “Uh, hi?” she said, shuffling her feet, “Here to, um-?”

Riku sighed. “C’mon Kairi. You promised things wouldn’t get weird.” he said, dropping his arms and looking over her shoulder, “Hey Sora.”

Sora grinned, folding his arms, “Hey Kiss Monster.”

Riku huffed out a laugh and turned to Kairi. “Told him, huh?” he said, and Kairi shrugged a bit sheepishly, “Guess you already heard about my night then, Sora. How’d you do?” he asked, grabbing an apple off the counter and ignoring Little Chef’s narrowed eyes.

Sora opened his mouth and then closed it, shaking his head. He shrugged.

“Got stood up.”

Riku half choked and set the apple back down on the counter. “What.”

It wasn’t even a question.

“What the hell. Is she crazy? Who the hell does she think she is?” Riku exploded, and both Sora and Kairi just stared at him.

“Wow. Haven’t seen you flip out like that in a long time.” Sora said slowly, “It’s okay, Riku. Really.”

“It’s not okay!” he seethed, “You - She . . . Did she have any idea the chance she had?!”

“Guess … not?” Sora said, taking a cautious step forward. “Are-are you okay?”

“Am I-” Riku’s eyes widened, jaw moving but no sound coming out. He stepped back, took a deep breath, looked off to the side. “Sorry.” he said, looking back up and clenching his fist. “I just can’t believe-”

Sora shrugged. “He was a dick. I’m over it.”

Riku seemed to freeze where he was standing. Kairi lightly slapped Sora on the arm.

“Since when do you say ‘dick’?” she scolded. Sora just laughed.

“He.” Riku said stonily, tone wiping the smile right off of Sora’s face.

“Um …” Sora began, “Yeah? Problem?”

Riku sighed out through his nose, looking down and shaking his head. “No. Not the way you’re thinking anyway,” he said, flexing his fingers in and out of fists. “I gotta go.”

Kairi flung an arm out. “Oh no you don’t.” she said firmly, eyes narrowed. “We’re your best friends. If you’re going to go mope, do it here.”

Riku’s eyes widened.

“I am so confused.” Sora said, shaking his head. “Who’s not telling me something? Getting the whole ‘let's talk in code’ vibe off of you two.”

Kairi sighed, put her hand on Sora’s shoulder, and looked him directly in the eyes.

She took a deep breath. “Riku’s jealous.” she said.

It took a few seconds before realization dawned on Sora’s face. Then he took the two stomps needed to be right in front of Riku, looked up to face him, and tilted his head. “What?” he demanded.

Riku opened and closed his mouth a few times, and then his shoulders slumped. “I - I love you?” he said in resignation, and Sora staggered those two steps back again.

Sora took a quick look at Kairi, who shrugged, and then looked back at Riku.

Sora shook his head. “You are never allowed to call me an idiot again.” he said firmly, and then lunged forward, reached out, and pulled Riku down to eye level.

“S-Sora?” Riku stuttered.

“You gonna kiss me, or what?” Sora smiled.

And Riku did.

      THE  DARKNESS  THAT  ENGULFS  HER  is  greater  than  anything  she  can  describe .  it  swallows  her ,  completely  envelops  her  until  she  feels  like  she’s  nothing  amongst  the  cold  &  bitter  dark .  &  while  kairi  may  be  made  of  nothing  but  pure  light  but  still  she  feels  the  effects  of  this  place ,  this  realm  —  wherever  it  is .  she’d  rather  die  than  admit  to  fear  but  …  the  way  things  seem  to  be  going  at  this  rate ,  she  wonders  if  both  aren’t  that  far  around  the  corner .  

      BUT  WAIT ,  DEATH ?  DYING ?  she  …  died ?  didn’t  she ?  the  memories  slowly  begin  to  seep  into  her  mind  like  poison  seeps  into  the  bloodstream .  kairi ,  asleep  flying  higher  &  higher  like  she  were  weightless  like  a  feather  until  she  falls ,  shatters  at  the  hand  of  the  lord  of  darkness  himself .  in  the  distance  she  can  hear  the  sound  of  anguished  cries  as  she  seems  to  fade  into  nothingness .  the  screams  are  too  faint  to  distinguish  who’s  voices  they  belong  to  but  kairi  wonders  in  that  dark  pit  of  despair  she’s  in  if  any  of  them  belonged  to  sora  &  riku  —  she  hopes  not .  she’d  hate  for  them  to  witness  her  like  that ,  in  such  a  state  of  weakness  &  watch  her  completely  deteriorate .  she  knows  if  it  had  been  the  other  way  around  it  would  have  devastated  her  beyond  compare .

      THE  LONELINESS  WITHIN  THIS  PLACE  is  overwhelming .  though  kairi  is  no  stranger  to  loneliness .  in  fact  the  two  are  quite  accustomed  to  each  other .  though  this  place  feels  different  still ,  stronger  still ,  as  if  the  very  manifestation  of  loneliness  &  isolation  surrounds  her  &  engulfs  her  in  the  darkness .  she  wonders  if  there’s  any  hope  for  her  here  or  if  she’s  doomed  to  wander  restlessly  for  all  eternity  or  until  she  inevitably  fades  from  existence .

      BUT  THEN  SHE  HEARS  IT ,  a  voice  shout  in  the dark ,  a  name ,  her  name .  kairi  whips  her  head  around  to  see  him ,  sora ,  the  world’s  savior ,  her  savior .  she  feels  her  heart  leap  from  her  chest  as  she  loses  her  breath  for  a  moment .  is  this  real ?  did  he  really  find  her ?  it  seems  hardly  possible .  but  the  impossibility  doesn’t  stop  her  from  immediately  running  for  him  &  throwing  herself  into  his  arms .  she  doesn’t  know  how  long  it’s  been  since  he’s  seen  her  but  for  kairi  it’s  felt  like  a  lifetime .

      HIS  ARMS  ARE  STRONG  &  WARM  &  kairi  has  to  hold  back  the  urge  to  cry .  she  hadn’t  realized  how  much  this  place  was  sucking  the  life  from  her  until  she  was  given  some  of  it  back .  her  grip  on  him  is  tight  as  if  letting  him  go  would  eliminate  her  very  existence .  the  way  things  have  been  going  at  this  point  it  might  as  well  be  that  way .  she  buries  her  face  in  his  shoulder  as  her  chest  as  she  feels  her  chest  tighten  with  her  held  back  sobs .  

      WHEN  SORA  SPEAKS  HIS  VOICE  is  warm  &  gentle  but  there’s  something  underlying  there  she  thinks .  something  in  the  way  his  voice  cracks  a  little  in  his  words .  he’s  scared  too .  but  despite  this  he  still  uses  his  words  to  comfort  her .  he’s  always  been  selfless  like  that ,  she’s  never  asked  him  to  be  &  yet  he  never  fails  to  show  overwhelming  altruism  in  everything  he  does .  kairi  wishes  he  would  think  of  himself  sometimes .  “    kairi ,    ”  he  whispers  &  she  feels  a  gentle  hand  run  through  her  hair ,  “    kairi ,  it’s  okay  now .  i’m  here  to  take  you  home .    ”

      THERE’S  SOMETHING  IN  THOSE  WORDS  that  doesn’t  hold  it’s  usual  confidence  she  thinks .  not  that  kairi  doesn’t  believe  him  she  just  wonders  if  there’s  something  else  going  on  in  that  mind  of  his .  she  wonders  if  she  should  worry  for  him .  but  before  she  has  more  time  to  think  it  over  they’re  breaking  apart  &  sora’s  taking  her  smaller  hand  in  his  &  leading  her  from  whence  he  came .  “    this  way  —    ”

      SHE  FOLLOWS  WITH  LITTLE  TO  NO  hesitation .  she’s  always  been  willing  to  walk  through  the  dark  with  him ,  for  him ,  for  as  long  as  she  can  remember .  she’s  never  needed  him  to  ask  her .  though  when  she  walks  with  him ,  it  doesn’t  feel  so  dark  anymore .  maybe  it  was  sora  who  was  the  light  after  all .  kairi  feels  herself  growing  stronger ,  braver  with  each  step  she  takes  &  in  a  great  leap  of  hope  she  wonders  if  things  really  will  be  okay .  will  they  really  both  make  it  home  together  &  live  out  the  rest  of  their  lives  in  peace .  she  hopes  so .  she’s  lived  far  too  much  of  her  life  waiting  &  wishing  for  them  all  to  be  together .  it’s  time  for  them  to  have  their  happy  ending .

      BUT  FATE  HAS  OTHER  PLANS  or  so  it  seems .  just  as  kairi  makes  it  towards  the  light  at  the  end  of  the  passageway  the  very  floor  beneath  them  begins  to  erupt  in  fury .  the  ground  cracks  between  sora  &  kairi ,  forcing  their  hands  to  break  apart .  in  her  desperation  she  shouts  his  name ,  ready  to  jump  back  over  to  him  &  abandon  her  newfound  freedom  &  return  to  his  side  before  he  stops  her .  “    kairi ,  you  can’t  you  have  to  go  back .    ”

      THIS  TIME  KAIRI  DOES  CRY ,  cry  a  lot  in  fact  as  she  feels  her  overwhelming  frustration  &  sorrow  get  the  better  of  her .    ❛    no !  i  won’t !  i’m  not  leaving  without  you !  ❜  his  voice  is  calm  &  even  in  contrast  to  her  clearly  distressed  cries  &  kairi  wonders  if  sora  knew  this  was  going  to  happen ,  that  he  knew  all  along  there  was  a  price  to  saving  her ,  that  they  could  never  have  their  freedom  together .  “    no ,  kairi  you  have  to  go .  they  need  you ,  they  don’t  need  me .  you  have  to  help  them .  i’ll  be  fine .    ”

      SOMETHING ,  IF  NOT  EVERYTHING  in  his  words  make  her  irrefutably  angry .  if  she  hadn’t  already  been  so  upset  about  the  prospect  of  possibly  losing  him  she’d  come  over  there  &  hit  him  for  saying  such  things  about  himself .  everything  he’d  just  said  to  her  is  a  boldfaced  lie  in  the  form  of  trying  to  convince  &  comfort  her  that  abandoning  him  is  okay .  but  it  wasn’t ,  it’s  not ,  &  it  never  will  be .

      BUT  BEFORE  SHE  CAN  MAKE  HER  ultimate  choice  &  abandon  her  last  chance  of  freedom  to  be  with  him ,  the  ground  separates  again ,  deeper  this  time ,  making  it  impossible  for  her  to  even  think  about  successfully  getting  across .  she’s  instantly  reminded  of  the  first  time  they  were  forced  to  part  ways  all  those  years  ago .  it’s  different  now  she  thinks  yet  some  things  ring  all  the  same .  

      KAIRI  DOESN’T  BOTHER  TRYING  TO  stop  the  tears  from  streaming  down  her  face  as  she  screams  like  a  wounded  in  animal  in  agony .  she  reaches  out  for  him  uselessly  as  the  distance  between  them  grows  greater  &  greater .  she  can’t  do  this ,  not  again .  despite  the  space  between  them  sora’s  voice  still  rings  loud  &  true  when  he  speaks ,  when  he  speaks  for  the  last  time .  “    i'll  come  back  to  you !  i  promise !    ”  she  wants  to  believe  him ,  oh  god  she  wants  to  believe  him  but  the  despair  taking  hold  of  her  heart  &  dragging  her  downward  is  so  strong  she  doesn’t  know  if  she  can  hold  on  anymore .  

      THE  WORDS  HE  SAYS  NEXT  come  to  her  with  the  force  of  a  speeding  train .  her  heart  momentarily  stops  beating  &  time  seems  to  all  but  stand  still  as  she  looks  at  him  with  wide  blue  eyes .  “    i  love  you ,    ”  he  says  &  she  almost  doesn’t  hear  anything  else ,  doesn’t  hear  the  promise  of  being  by  her  side  always  &  forever  for  all  she  can  think  about  are  those  three  little  words  ringing  in  her  mind .

      IT’S  NOT  LIKE  SHE’S  SURPRISED .  she’s  always  sort  of  known .  but  to  say  it  is  a  different  story  entirely .  it  leaves  nothing  to  be  asked  or  be  desired .  everything  is  out  in  the  open .  she  loves  him  &  he  loves  her ,  there’s  no  doubt  or  denying  it  now  —  at  least  on  her  end .  he  loves  her  &  she  thinks  of  how  much  she  loves  him ,  how  she’s  always  loved  him ,  how  she  doesn’t  know  how  to  stop  loving  him ,  how  parting  from  him  right  now  will  shatter  everything  in  her  body  heart  &  soul .

      SHE  HAS  TO  TELL  HIM ,  has  to  express  how  much  she  ardently  &  deeply  cares  for  him  before  she’s  forced  to  lose  him  for  however  long  again .  her  voice ,  is  hoarse  &  broken  from  all  the  crying  but  still  she  does  her  best  to  shout  as  loud  as  she  can ,  ❛    sora ,  i  lov —    ❜  

      BUT  BEFORE  SHE  CAN  FINISH  the  ground  cracks  once  more ,  heavier  &  louder  than  all  the  other  times  before .  sora  &  kairi  are  forcibly  thrown  from  each  other .  the  darkness  surrounding  sora  now  is  so  deep  kairi  can’t  even  see  him  or  even  tell  how  far  away  he  is .  her  fists  clench  up  in  frustration  as  she  shouts  his  name  several  times ,  no  answer .  she  feels  her  entire  body  begin  to  shake  in  anger  &  frustration  &  she  just  wants  to  scream .  so  she  does ,  she  screams  until  her  lungs  give  out  &  until  her  throat  tightens  in  pain .  then  she  crumples  to  her  knees  &  simply  cries  for  however  long  it  takes .  in  all  that  time  no  one  ever  makes  any  sound  or  response  to  indicate  they  heard  her  cries .

hi everyone!

So, recently I decided to try and interact a little more on tumblr! I’ve had this one for quite a while, but I mostly just liked posts and left it at that. I’d really like to try and meet new people, and hopefully make some new friends, though!

I’m still new at this whole “interacting in tumblr” thing, so I’ll just leave a list of things I like, and if you also like it/post about it, I’ll follow you! I’ll also talk a little about stuff i like from a specific title (like favorite character or ships), how much i’ve watched/played of it, things like that! Feel absolutely free to shoot me a message or something if we share any interests and you want to chat :)

Voltron! i really want more people that i can talk to about this show, help. i ship sheith a lot, but i basically ship anything that has keith, shiro, allura or matt. i also stan keith and shiro individually like there’s no tomorrow.

Kingdom Hearts! i’ve fully played all of the games, except for DDD and Coded, both of which i’m currently playing! Birth By Sleep has been my favorite game so far, and Axel’s been my favorite character since he first appeared, but Riku is a reeeeeally close second place.

Boku no Hero! sooo, i’ve only been watching the anime, but i plan on reading the manga as well eventually! deku is my bby, and bakugo and dabi are my absolute favorites, even though i love basically the entire cast kdsjflskd i do kind of have bakudeku as my favorite ship of sorts, but “multi-shipper” is a huge understatement for my trash ass, so...

One Piece! i’m really not that far along in the anime (i’m like at episode 300 or so), but i do keep up with spoilers so i sort of have a grasp of everything going on in the series. i’m not even gonna try to name a favorite character, it basically changes by the second.

Marvel, all of it! Comics, movies and shows! i’m a diehard loki stan, also lowkey a bucky stan pls don’t give up on me :( comic-wise i really like the x-men comics, but i also read quite a lot of other stuff from time to time. show-wise, my absolute favorites were daredevil and jessica jones.

Persona! i’ve only played P5 so far, but i do plan to eventually play all the of others. i also haven’t exactly finished P5 yet, i’m about halfway through it, but i do love it already! Joker is probably my favorite main protagonist in quite a while. i also have played a lot of SMT games, and love them!

SKAM! i really really love noora and even, and isak is my bby boy aaaa. all of the characters are amazing, tbh, those are just the ones i got most attached to. i do also quite like noorhelm, which might be a somewhat unpopular opinion.

Harry Potter! of course, the fandom that introduced everyone to what fandoms are. i’m a slytherin, and i’m basically the biggest draco malfoy, sirius black and ginny weasley stan around. i highkey ship draco and ginny, sue me (also: drarry).

Percy Jackson! i have a couple of problems with some stuff riordan says, but one way or another, i do still really enjoy the Percy books. I haven’t read Heroes of Olympus, though i might eventually read it. my favorites are nico, thalia and luke.

Disney! And animation films in general! so yeah, i’m one of those people who really really enjoy disney and other animated movies!! i’d love to babble about any movies, especially if it’s stuff like Big Hero 6 or Aladdin, or Disney’s more “less known” stuff like Robin Hood or Treasure Planet or Black Cauldron. i also really really like How To Train Your Dragon, Megamind, Anastasia and lots of other stuff!! also i need to mention i love love lov e Meg

Star Wars! umm, i’m almost scared of jumping into this one, but oh well. so, i really like anakin and his backstory (the idea and concept of it, not necessarily how they were executed in the prequels), and he is one of my favorite characters along with han, leia and luke. i do enjoy the new movies overall, and i like most of the new characters!

Fullmetal Alchemist! this was my favorite anime/manga for a looong time! the only reason it’s not still it is because i currently love a lot of different animes and i am bad at picking favorites. i like both versions of the anime, to be completely honest, but i sort of dislike both endings.

Final Fantasy! it’s the first jrpg series i fell in love with! my favorites have to be VII and X, though from VII, i sort of like Crisis Core more than the core title, mostly because Zack Fair is my favorite character ever created hands down.

any re: riku: honestly not mad. his character arc came to a close a couple of games ago and further development would just be pushing it. kh1-2 was riku’s development and now it was other people’s turn. i liked the contrast between how riku and sora handle things and the direct contrast between his present and past self. like what a boy, what a glow up. would have liked to have seen more of his interactions but thats true for everyone. he had nice shoes, sensible choice for running around. 

re: kairi: ya i dont actually like canon kairi that much bc theres just nothing there to like. the first games she did like........not much. she did it well but it was still not much. now she had time to do stuff and boy did they drop the ball. also her voice acting was bad. she was just. boring. but thats kind of consistent soooooo ??? anyway they gotta figure out ways of writing dramatic tension tht doesnt involve damsels in distress. shocking i know, but it can be done :0 anyway ya like not mad bc it was my expectations with past kairi writing and current squenix writing of female characters. like was it bad? yeah. am i surprised or upset by it? nah i knew it was coming. the manga and rp writers do her better.

Poor Blair, when he feels a growing need for attention or feelin’ down, it’s time for Koala-clinging. Sometimes he kinda scoots over and does so, sometimes he run-jumps into that onesided embrace. Now, usually it wouldn’t be much of a problem—If he didn’t also use his legs to wrap around her lol. Legit, the only reason why Riku doesn’t fall EVERY TIME is because Blair is (barely) smaller and weighs less than her. LOL It must be a sight to see, Riku just standing there talking normally and there’s this boy just attached to her back like a backpack 

Riku has had to lug him around once or twice, carrying him on her back without many problems (blair is so smol i love him). She says she’s never bothered by it, because it’s adorable and it reminds her of Ren. Her little brother. Even though Blair’s a couple of years older than her. Yeah.

And lowkey, Ri does the same—But it’s more toned down and is mostly clinging to his side than to his back. Though lbr she does have her moments bc when she runs to someone full-speed sometimes it’s very hard for her tos top.
