That jealous Steve blurb makes me think that Steve's been jealous for a while but it's just now festering. You see the new kid and some other kid holding hands in the hallways, " haha I bet they're dating" a very middle school reaction. Then it's sophomore year and those kids are still holding hands, still looking at each other all lovey dovey. Okay yeah, that's exactly what Steve wants but he's not gonna admit it. Then he meets Nancy, who he feels might be his person (again would never say anything). Well he finds Nancy and Jonathan together and has his first heartbreak. What does a hurt egocentric teenager do? Something stupid and hurtful. Steve doesn't understand why bugs still at Jon's side. Then he gets his ass kicked and has this ego death of sorts and he wants to stop hiding his emotions and his love behind a wall of arrogance. He can see things clearly now. Welp still doesn't really help. But now he has a chance at true, unconditional, love. That's if he can see it right under his nose.
YES !!! anon youre so on the nose and absolutely correct. thats exactly where steve is rn. hes jealous of not only how open and loving bug is as a person (since he comes from a home where thats frowned upon) but hes reaching a point where he WANTS to receive this and share his love as well.
for years bug and jon were steves “man theyre sweet cant wait for my person !” and then he had nancy and thought she was his person and now that shes gone hes just like :( wtf am i doing wrong and why is it so easy for bug and jon, especially because jon HAS been a douche to bug and every time steves pride has festered, hes lost someone.
hes a bitter and jealous bitch and i love him so much for it lmao

i knew you (Bucky Barnes soulmate AU) -- part four
This one is a little shorter than usual, so I wanted to go ahead and post it. It’s mostly a set-up for what’s about to happen (eek). We’re officially in the Civil War timeline now!
Tumblr media
two years later
You meet Steve and Sam at Heathrow airport. The first thing you do is wrap your arms around Steve’s neck.
“I’m so sorry,” you whisper. You have no idea how badly he must be hurting. To be taken away from his soulmate, thrust 70 years into the future to find her still alive, only to have her taken away from him again all too soon. You don’t know how he hasn’t collapsed from the pain.
Steve hugs you back tightly, sighing into your shoulder. “Thanks.”
The funeral is quiet, not like you were expecting it to be anything but.
The biggest shock of all comes when Sharon Carter reveals her relation to Peggy. Steve had mentioned Sharon in passing to you, something about her being a cute nurse that lived across the hall from him. You later found out that she was an SHIELD agent, but now she works for the CIA.
Afterwards, when you’re standing with Steve, keeping him company in the church now that everyone has gone, he starts talking about Peggy.
Anything and everything he can think of. Some of it inaudible from his tears, but he gets it all out and off of his chest, which is what he needed. He’s a mess, holding onto the church pews for stability that he knows he’ll never feel again, not with Peggy gone.
You gather him in your arms again, fingers splayed at the back of his head, holding him close. Moments like this make you miss Bucky even more. Not only is he your soulmate, but he’s Steve’s best friend. The person who, alongside Peggy, is who Steve needs most right now.
The good news is that Bucky’s feelings have been relatively normal lately. He hasn’t been the Soldier since he left D.C. that day. You would’ve felt it, and what you’re feeling, is nothing like before.
Exiting the church, you see Sam standing under a tree, his phone pressed to his ear. You know he’s talking to your best friend, that’s for sure. She wasn’t able to come because of work. You also see Sharon glancing over at Steve, so you quietly slip away to join Sam, giving Steve the chance to talk to Sharon like you know he’s been dying to do.
Sam continues talking to your best friend and you try not to eavesdrop, but mostly, you’re just feeling.
You think it’s because Bucky hasn’t been himself — without the Soldier’s mindset — in a very long time, but for the past year or so, you’ve had moments like these where all you can do is feel. Take it all in.
You haven’t felt any overwhelmingly happy emotions from him by any means, but you’ve felt...peace. He’s anxious almost constantly, which you understand, and you desperately wish he was here for you to help him. Right now, he seems to be at peace. You’re not sure what caused it or how, but you hope, if anything, that he’s sleeping.
In your most recent dream of him, that’s exactly what he was doing. Sleeping peacefully next to you. And when you shifted, he woke, only for a moment, to wrap his arm around your waist and pull you closer. Nuzzling your neck with his nose, he fell back asleep, but not before placing a kiss there.
You woke that morning with sweaty palms and a stupid smile on your lips.
“Are you signing it?” You vaguely hear your best friend ask through Sam’s phone.
You blink, tuning back into their conversation.
Sam shakes his head. “I don’t like it. Steve doesn’t like it either.”
“What? What’s going on?” You ask, patting his arm to get his attention.
“The Sokovia Accords,” Sam explains lowly. “We wrecked shit—”
“I heard,” you grimace. “Not a good look for you guys.”
“Yeah, the Secretary of State didn’t think so either,” Sam scoffs, arms crossed over his chest. “Anyway, they slammed us with the Accords and it’s— They want us to sign our rights away, basically.”
“What?” You nearly yell. “You’re serious?”
“Deathly,” he nods. “Rhodes thinks we’re being dramatic, Tony too.”
“Great,” you groan. “Who else is signing?”
“Natasha. Vision. I think that’s it.” Sam shakes his head. “Steve and I seem to be the only bastards with our heads on straight, but obviously they don’t see it that way.”
“That’s...I’m sorry,” you groan. “What’s this about, anyway? You took the bad guys down in Sokovia, wasn’t that the point? I know there was a lot of collateral damage, but...that happens no matter what. Avengers being there or not.”
“It’s not just Sokovia,” Sam sighs. “New York, too. And others. The guy had a whole damn presentation.” He shakes his head again, clearly torn up about it all. “They want to oversee us. Control us, basically. Tell us where we can and can’t go. And I just— I can’t do that. If I feel like someplace needs our help, we have to go. But if we sign that, then the government can tell us not to — or arrest us if we do. It’s not right.”
“I hear you,” you assure him. “I wish there was a way to amend it. They didn’t let you talk about it?”
“Nope,” he says. “Just slapped the book down on the table and said we had until today to figure out what we’re going to do. But basically said if we don’t sign, we’d be going to prison.”
Your eyes widen. “Prison?”
“If we go somewhere, which is inevitable. They’d be able to get us with anything. Probably bring up old charges just to get a headstart.”
“Fuck, Sam,” you say. “This is shit.”
“You’re telling me,” he mutters. He says goodbye to your best friend, her break from work ending way too soon for his liking -- you can tell by the frown he wears after he hangs up. “Anyway. Want a drink?”
You shake your head at his sudden subject change, and the fact that it’s still the early afternoon, but you agree nonetheless.
+++
The drink doesn’t happen. Well, you make it to the bar, but when you do, you’re met with the onslaught of news stations reporting a freak bombing in Vienna.
“Shit,” Sam cusses. “Where’s Steve?”
“He was with Sharon,” you explain, trailing behind him.
You share a worried look before starting to jog, back to the hotel they’re all staying at. He finds Steve by the elevator with Sharon -- interrupting a moment, by the looks of it, which you feel bad about, but you shove it away, reminding yourself of what’s just happened.
Sharon paces in her hotel room, on the phone, trying to get some answers. The TV screen shows a scene fit for nightmares. The UN Complex was bombed. The same complex that the signing of the Sokovia Accords was supposed to occur in today.
“Officials have released a video of a suspect, who they have identified as James Buchanan Barnes, The Winter Soldier.”
Your heart stops.
You stumble backwards, nearly falling on your ass if it weren’t for Sam reaching out to steady you.
“That’s impossible-- It-- I would’ve felt him turn,” you swallow around the lump in your throat, the bile threatening to rise. “I-- That’s not him. I don’t know who that is, but it’s not him.”
“It’s his face,” Sharon says quietly, not intending to be rude at all, you hope, but that’s how you take it.
“I know my soulmate,” you argue, shaking your head. “That’s not him.”
The room is quiet. Steve glances your way, but you don’t meet his eyes. He doesn’t believe you. You know he doesn’t. Why would he? The proof is clear as day, right there on the TV screen. It’s obviously Bucky’s face.
But it’s not him. You don’t know how, but it isn’t. You’re sure of it.
You knew it was him two years ago in D.C. You have to trust yourself again.
“I have to go to work,” Sharon breaks the silence, looking at Steve. “I imagine you’re coming too?”
“Yeah,” Steve nods, then looks at you.
You glare right back at him. “I’m coming. Don’t argue with me.”
He doesn’t.
+++
An hour passes and lands the four of you in Austria. Sharon takes off to work while Steve, Sam, and you figure out your plan.
Steve talked with Sharon and made a deal. She’s going to give you the best head start she can, but she said she can’t promise anything.
You and Sam find a random cafe to fall into, ordering something to eat to blend in while Steve talks to Natasha.
He comes back ten minutes later, looking less than pleased.
“She tell you to stay out of it?” Sam asks.
Steve is quiet. That’s a yes.
“Might have a point,” Sam shrugs. You almost hit him.
“He’d do it for me,” Steve replies firmly.
“1945, maybe.”
“Sam,” you warn, giving him a fierce look.
“I just wanna make sure we consider all our options,” Sam defends. “The people that shoot at you, usually wind up shooting at me. And since we’ve got a tagalong--”
“Shut it, Wingman,” you do hit him this time on the back of the head. “I’m coming. You act like I don’t have any gear on me right now.”
Both men turn to look at you.
You give them an incredulous look back. “Come on. After what happened in D.C. you really expect me not to walk around with a bullet proof vest on?”
“You got a gun?” Sam asks, taunting.
“Snuck right past airport security,” you mutter, tapping your hip with his leg so he’ll feel it. “Shut up about it.”
“You’re the one who brought it up.”
“Because I’m tired of you acting like I’m some fourteen year old. I’ve been taking daily self-defense and combat courses for the past two years. I had to take care of myself somehow. I’ll be fine. And I’m coming with you. End of story.”
Both men share a look before shrugging, admitting defeat. Finally.
Out of the corner of your eyes, you see Sharon walking into the café.
She steps in next to Steve at the bar, talking straight ahead to not draw any attention. “Tips have been pouring in since that footage went public. Everyone thinks The Winter Soldier goes to their gym. Most of it’s noise. Except for this.” She gently slides him a pack of papers. “My boss expects a briefing, pretty much now, so that’s all the headstart you’re gonna get.”
“Thank you,” Steve says quietly.
“You’re gonna have to hurry,” she whispers, avoiding your eyes. “We have orders to shoot on sight.”
Chills run down your spine and spread out through your hands and toes. Fuck.
“We have to go,” you say evenly, not looking at Steve or Sam.
We have orders to shoot on sight.
Not if you can help it.

SWAMP THING #47-50 APRIL - JULY 1986 BY ALAN MOORE, STEVE BISSETTE, RICK VEITCH, JOHN TOTLEBEN, RICK VEITCH, STAN WOCH, RON RANDALL, ALFREDO ALCALA, TOM MANDRAKE AND TATJANA WOOD
Tumblr media
SYNOPSIS (FROM DC DATABASE)
At the office the Houma Daily Courrier newspaper, a photographer named Howard Fleck tries to pitch a story about certain photos he took while in the swamps outside of Houma, Louisiana. He had come across Abby Holland, who was unaware of his presence as he took photos of her undressing and making love with Swamp Thing.
Out of Fleck's earshot, Abby and Swamp Thing discuss a recent call she got from John Constantine telling Swamp Thing to meet him at the source of the river Tefé in Brazil. Swamp Thing states that he must go, as this is the final stage, where he will learn all the things he needs to know about what he is, and what he is meant to do.
Swamp Thing enters The Green, focusing on a seed near the river Tefé, and regrowing his body, by coincidence, just steps away from John Constantine, and only 20 minutes after he had arrived there. Constantine leads the Swamp Thing to the Parliament of Trees, which is composed of swamp elementals of the past (including Alex Olsen, the original Swamp Thing) who have taken root to grow in peace as trees.
Tumblr media
The creature that once was Alex Olsen explains that like Swamp Thing, all of the other elementals now in the Parliament lived parallel lives in which a human died in flames, and rose as a swamp monster later. He advises that if Swamp Thing wants information from the Parliament, he will have to enter The Green, and let his mind intertwine with those of the others.
After doing so, Swamp Thing learns the histories of all the other elementals, along with additional uses for his abilities that he had not yet even conceived of, due to his human mindset. He is interrupted from these revelations when the other elementals become aware of his presence. After making his case, asking for help, the elementals feel that he is too set in his human way of thinking, and has much to learn. They say that he should seek inner calm and not power, since power leads to anger. They indicate that his perception of what is evil is naive; all organisms play the roles nature has granted them, and any moral judgments the Swamp Thing or anyone else might make are just purely subjective and useless.
Tumblr media
With many questions left unanswered, the parliament expels Swamp Thing, and he is sent away from the grove. When he relays the information he gained to Constantine, the human is unimpressed. He comments that there is evil in all the wood, particularly on the island of Chiloe, in the forests of Quincavi – the place they will be going tomorrow.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Back in the offices of the Houma Daily Courrier, the editors hasten to get rid of Fleck. After discussing the value of publishing the photos he produced, one of them recognizes Abby as a teacher at Elysium Lawns, and decides that her spending her weekends half-naked with "guys in kinky rubber suits" is cause for parental concern. They conclude that they should publish the photos.
In the jungles of Argentina, John Constantine, and what remains of his Newcastle Crew prepare to invade the caves of the Brujería. When Swamp Thing reveals that he has been there waiting for them for a whole already, the small band sets out.
Tumblr media
The plan is to have Swamp Thing regrow himself in the Brujeria's central chamber, allowing him to get the jump on them, while Constantine, Judith, and Frank enter the dark caves slowly, hoping to prevent anyone from leaving. When the path forked, however, Constantine split the party up, leaving himself alone in the darkness. Shrouded in blackness and struggling to light a match, he spies a light in the distance. What approaches is not a friend, but the horrifying Invunche, a mangled creation of the Brujeria, meant for killing. The creature knocks him against the wall, but he is merely knocked unconscious. Elsewhere, Judith and Frank seem to be flirting, and eventually, she convinces him to have sex there in the darkness.
Meanwhile, Swamp Thing discovers a black barrier within The Green which prevents him from materializing in the Brujeria's chambers. He realizes that he was expected. He searches desperately for any form of plant life near the chambers, but there is nothing. He continues searching, knowing that failing to get in will leave Constantine and the others at the mercy of whatever evil lies within the caves.
Constantine wakes in the Brujeria's chamber, a captive. Their leader taunts him, explaining that there is nothing that grows there to allow Swamp Thing to get to them. It is further revealed that John is all out of allies. Judith appears, revealing that she is in league with the Brujeria, and has killed both Benjamin Cox and his mother, and also Frank. Judith is unmoved by Constantine's warnings that the Brujeria will kill her anyway, claiming that they have promised her that she will become a bird – a messenger for them.
As the pit in which Constantine is trapped slowly fills with liquid, Judith strips and follows the Bjeria's instructions in becoming a bird. She is given a foul tasting root which causes her to vomit out her innards until only her still conscious head remains. He then begins shaping her into a bird. They put an ominous black pearl into her mouth, and begin shaping her into a bird form, with legs and a tale, and eventually a beak.
Unexpectedly, a yellow flower which Judith had been wearing begins sprouting into the form of the Swamp Thing. Angrily, the Brujeria calls upon the Invunche to fight him. Meanwhile, Constantine is close to drowning, and warns against allowing Judith to be transformed into a bird. With time running out, Swamp Thing chooses to save Constantine rather than prevent Judith from flying away with the black pearl. Constantine then knows that the decision will lead to a one-way losing streak for them.
Tumblr media
Back in Louisiana, Abby Holland arrives at work to discover that images of her being intimate with the Swamp Thing have been published in the local newspaper. With little explanation, the police arrest her, and take her away, claiming that she is a sex offender.
After rescuing John Constantine from drowning in mud, and thus simultaneously allowing the Brujería's messenger bird to escape, Swamp Thing is surrounded by the Brujeria's remaining members. He forces Constantine back through the caves to the surface, and then brings the roots of the great rain forest above to pierce through the chamber walls, killing all of them.
Constantine and Swamp Thing split up, hoping to recruit people who can help them deal with the coming Great Darkness, since its coming cannot be prevented. Constantine visits Baron Winters in Georgetown, and tricks him into giving up his house as a base for the team he is building. Meanwhile, the bird's passage through the spirit realms attracts the attention of Doctor Fate, Doctor Occult, and Cain and Abel.
Meanwhile, Swamp Thing drifts into The Green, and heads beyond it into the region of the just dead. There, he encounters both Deadman and the Phantom Stranger. Together, the three of them head further into the spirit realm in search of those who can help them.
Constantine tracks down Sargon the Sorcerer, and manipulates him into joining the team, after namedropping Baron Winters. Later, he visits the home of John Zatara and his daughter Zatanna. The magician is reluctant, but Zatanna, who once had a romantic relationship with Constantine, is more than eager. Her father decides to accompany them, if only to keep Constantine's hands off of her.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Swamp Thing and company seek out the Spectre, only to discover that they have been walking on his massive chest for quite some time. He admits that he saw the bird fly by, but allowed it to pass by, in the hopes that the Great Darkness would pose a worthy challenge to him. This perplexes the group, but they are happy at least, to have his help.
They later pass through the gates of Hell, in search of Etrigan. Etrigan is already aware of the danger, and appears before them. He admits that many of the higher demons prefer the devil they know, and will fight the Great Darkness, though many of the lower demons are excited about the new evil's arrival.
Back at Winters' estate, the assembled occultists mingle. Constantine attempts to convince his friend Steve Dayton to put on his Mento Helmet and try to make contact with the spirit realm. Reluctantly, Steve complies, but his consciousness is drawn to the bird's path through Hell. He manages to touch the minds of Swamp Thing and his friends, but again, he is drawn away to the bird's mind. He realizes that the bird was once human, but the chaos fires of hell are so powerful that she can no longer hold the pearl in her beak. She burns to death, but even so, the message is delivered. The Great Darkness has been summoned.
In the Spirit World, Swamp Thing and Deadman march with the assembled demon horde, led by Etrigan. They intend to face the Great Darkness which threatens to destroy Heaven itself.
Meanwhile, John Constantine and his crew of occultists and sorcerers conduct a dangerous séance, using Mento as a conduit through which they can see what is going on in the Spirit World, and direct their combined magical energies to the aid of Swamp Thing's team. From Wintersgate Manor, the group watches as Etrigan puts on his armour and leads the other rhyming demons in a full on charge against the oncoming darkness.
Swamp Thing and Deadman are surprised by the arrival of Doctor Fate and Phantom Stranger soon after. The Stranger brings with him a host of higher consciousnesses beyond bodies – angels. With these reinforcements, they prepare for the Great Darkness' arrival.
The Great Darkness rises from the waters of chaos beyond Hell, and the sight of it is horrifying to Mento, to the point that he instantly feels as though all is lost. His companions force him to go on, despite his complaints, and he watches as Etrigan leads his army directly into the Darkness' path. When Etrigan engages with it, he is consumed by it, sucked into a vast darkness. A voice comes to him demanding to know what it is. Etrigan responds that the Great Darkness is evil, locked in an eternal struggle with God's light. The Darkness, in its thirst for knowledge, has learned fatalism and inevitability from Etrigan. These are not what it needed, and it expels Etrigan back out onto the ground, unconscious.
Back at the séance, the Great Darkness begins to sense their efforts, and attacks them, searching for a weak link. They know that they must not break the circle by letting go of each other's hands, lest their powers backfire, or they lose contact permanently. The Darkness seems to focus on Sargon, who begins to smoulder in his seat. To their horror, they are forced to watch as Sargon burns to death, and still hold his charred corpse's hand, in order to keep the circle intact.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Deadman and Doctor Fate fight against the demons loyal to the Darkness. Fate kills Abnegazar in anger, but he is distracted and soon enveloped by the Darkness. The darkness demands to know what evil is. Fate responds that evil is the ignorance that drags people back as they climb toward heaven; a vile and wretched thing. The Darkness responds that Fate has taught him contempt. This is not the answer that was required. Doctor Fate is expelled as Etrigan was, unconscious.
At the séance, the Darkness focuses its attacks on Zatanna. After seeing what happened to Sargon, her protective father John Zatara utters a spell that directs the Darkness's attack toward him instead. Horrified, Zatanna cries out for her father to take back his spell, as he explodes in flames before her eyes, burning her hand severely. Angrily, she curses Constantine, but they all continue their efforts.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Finally, after much wondering where he has been, The Spectre appears, and engages the Great Darkness. He grows in size, wrestling with the Darkness' black form. However, it appears that the Darkness has several long and huge tentacles, making it much larger than the Spectre. He is knocked into the darkness, where he is asked what evil's purpose is. The Spectre responds that evil exists only to be avenged, to show what ruin comes of opposing the "Great Voice." The Darkness expels the Spectre, having learned only vengeance.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
With no remaining allies, and the Phantom Stranger visibly shaken by the Spectre's defeat, the Swamp Thing simply walks right into the Darkness willingly. The Darkness takes notice, and asks what Swamp Thing has to offer. He admits that he has nothing to offer, but he could not simply stand and watch. The Darkness then asks what the purpose of evil is. Swamp Thing responds that he cannot answer the question. He has seen evil and cruelty, and the randomness with which it ravages both the guilty and the innocent alike. It cannot be understood.
However, Swamp Thing recalls his meeting with the Parliament of Trees, and wonders whether the chain of life – wherein all things die and return to humus, which becomes the fertile ground in which plants grow stronger – mirrors the struggle between good and evil. He posits that evil may be the humus formed of virtue's decay, and from that dark loam, virtue can grow strongest. Not necessarily satisfied, the Darkness allows Swamp Thing to leave freely, as he came.
Tumblr media
Despite the encounter, the Great Darkness continues toward heaven. Mento is drawn too close to the Darkness' mind, and becomes aware of its true nature. The Spirit World is rocked by the sight of a gargantuan black hand reaching closer and closer to heaven. Mento is driven to further distraction by the appearance of the hand of the presence reaching back. He anticipates a battle which will see everything destroyed. However, when the golden hand and the black hand touch, they flow together as a ying and yang. The image drives Mento completely insane, and he laughs hysterically at the revelation that the black mass they called "the Darkness" was only just part of a finger and fingernail belonging to the gigantic black hand.
Tumblr media
Doctor Occult senses that the power seems to have discharged itself, and that they can release each others' hands. Sadly, there were three casualties. Sargon and Zatara are dead. Mento is insane. Constantine senses that what they experienced was not a victory, but rather a no-score draw between good and evil.
In the Spirit World, Swamp Thing wakes. The Phantom Stranger explains that while light and shade are still surrounding them, the conflict between them has been altered. There is a sharpness, a distinctiveness in the air that was recently more foggy. The Stranger marvels at how much light and dark – good and evil – seem to depend on one another. Swamp Thing can't help but wonder how the events of the day will have changed the world as they know it.

REVIEW
Although DC Database says the cave is in the “jungles of Patagonia” in Argentina... I am inclined to think it happens in the island of Chiloé (In Chile). Just a random Argentinian thought. Maybe it is clear at some point in the story and I missed it, but I can imagine forests in Patagonia, not that many jungles. I could be wrong though.
It is also funny that both Man-Thing and The Heap are part of the Parliament of trees (unofficially).  Also check Alan Moore rising from his grave on that last panel.
This story kills off two of DC’s magicians, Sargon and Zatara. I couldn’t care less for either of both.
What really matters, though, is the idea of evil not being in one place. That idea that evil is relative, and perhaps necessary. You cannot have good without evil. I am not sure how Constantine knew this was important without knowing it, how he knew he had to take Swamp Thing in this journey, and if he knew, why he didn’t tell Swampy to go first.
In any case, now that good versus evil is no longer a thing, Abel asks how are they going to tell new stories. Well Abel, welcome to the Modern age of comics.
I give this story a score of 10

ThorBruce Week [2018] | Read it on AO3
Prompt #1: First Time
Thor and Bruce’s First Time Kissing In Front Of The Avengers
If Bruce had been told that he was going to fall in love with the God of thunder he would have never believed them.
While Bruce was incredibly smart, something that was considered nerdy to the average person — talking so much about radiophysics or nuclear physics to people who barely understood the subjects — he had an additional problem that ironically came from one of those several Ph.D's.
The Hulk was a part of him that he never fully accepted or liked in the slightest. Bruce would slip into this mindset that the Hulk represented this evil or harmful intended part of himself and if he did not have to show it, he would never do so again.
For him, missions where "Code Green" is called make him feel like he is shoved into a pit of despair by himself and forced to come out as the Other Guy. While he cares for the Avengers and wants to help people, it sometimes feels that he is doing more harm than good. He's a huge, green, rage-monster, that can destroy a whole city block in minutes. How in any sense of the word is he helpful?
The large, black, noise canceling headphones strapped over his ears were streaming a soft Italian opera song into his ears. Bruce let his eyes stay closed as he leaned up against the cool metal wall of the Quinjet. His breathing was soft and slow, even and deep.
Thor could not help but keep his eyes on his lover, making sure he was okay and felt safe. If he needed to do that for him, he would in a heartbeat. He set down StormBreaker, and walked over to Bruce and sat next to him.
Bruce’s eyes opened quickly in alarm, but soothed as he noticed his boyfriend sitting next to him with a soft smile. He let his head fall onto Thor’s shoulder as the latter man reposition him to lay his legs on his lap.
And if Tony Stark noticed the small gesture and smiled, that didn’t matter much to him.
With a small smile and concerned eyes, Thor positioned his index finger in a curled position under Bruce’s chin and turned his head to him with his index finger and thumb.
Thor pressed their foreheads together and let Bruce take the gesture for one of support and full of love and promise.
Sure, Natasha Romanoff might have seen the two lovebirds’ interaction, but she would never admit to the smirk that was surely on her face.
“You know I love you... Both of you?” Thor murmured softly.
“Yeah, I know. Say so ev’ry time...” Bruce slurred sleepily.
Steve Rogers definitely heard their exchange of words, but that just made him smile and wrap his arms around Tony, leaning his head on his shoulder. They took comfort in each other and whispered about Thor and Bruce.
Teasingly, Thor pressed a kiss to Bruce’s temple, making him blush lightly and dip his head into Thor’s hand as it came up to cup his face. A small smile broke out on his face, and he nuzzled their noses together.
“Would you stop that.” Bruce mumbled through a laugh.
“Hm, what? What is the mighty Thor doing that is making his beloved laugh like that?” He teased.
“Jus’ kiss me or leave me to my music.”
Bruce’s smirk made Thor’s smile grow wider and he captured his lips into a kiss. It was slow, breathless, and absolutely sweet. Bruce’s chapped lips pushed against Thor’s soft ones, and Thor cupped his face with one hand, the other resting on his legs and brushing slowly back and forth across his thighs.
The Avengers could not help but smile and feel happy for their two friends. The fact that they had people to make them happy, could not be more special.

Merry Christmas - I did it so you didn't have to.
It’s the time of year when a particular subset of songs become unavoidable. Your reaction to hearing Christmas music everywhere can be shaped by many influences, not the least of which being “How many years you worked in a record store over the holidays and heard this music literally ad nauseam.” Ahem. Anyway, one of the years I worked at Camelot Music was 1984. That was the year that Band Aid released “Do They Know It’s Christmas”. I thought it would be fun to give it a listen and compare it to its also-evil twin, “We Are The World” and share my impressions.
“Fun” may have been the wrong choice of words there. Let’s start with the one of the most obvious traits they share: Neither are good songs. They’re just not. They were both put together extremely quickly and under difficult circumstances (very, very few “supergroups” produce great work even when they spend a year in the studio together). But, they’re bad in wildly different ways, so let’s take a look.
“Do They Know It’s Christmas” - Band Aid Released December 3, 1984
The stories of how it got made are more interesting than the song itself, which was based on a rejected bit of a song Bob Geldof wrote for his band, The Boomtown Rats. If you’re interested, there are plenty of resources available describing how the whole thing went from conception to in-the-stores in about a month. It’s a weird little song which doesn’t have the sort of sing-a-long appeal you’d expect of a benefit Christmas song. It’s an awkward collection of verses, hooks, bridges, and a pretty decent out-chorus. It’s very much an artifact of its time in that it’s both incredibly earnest and patronizing to a disturbing degree. You get the sense that there’s a sneer behind the colonialism, a criticism of it, that might have been intended in the lyrics but didn’t come across in the performances. Bono certainly thought so:
"It's the most biting line, and actually reveals how selfish a mindset we all have underneath. I think Bob was trying to be honest and raw and self-accusatory. Rather than sing, 'We're lucky it's not us' he was saying: 'Well, when you say that, you mean 'lucky it's them.' Now look at it. Now look at yourself.'"
As for the performances, they’re mostly pretty nondescript with a couple of exceptions. Bono’s wailing of that line gets the most attention, but if you listen to it (something I can only half-heartedly recommend), pay attention to Boy George’s lines. I think he’s the best vocalist in the group by some margin and I feel for George Michael having to follow him.
The “group” itself is largely composed of a few new wave groups who happened to be available in the brief window available to do the recording. Heavily represented are The Boomtown Rats, Spandau Ballet, Duran Duran, Status Quo, and Bananarama. It’s also very much a white boys club: No women get solo lines and Jodi Whatley is the only woman involved other than the members of Bananarama. For a benefit for Africa, there are also stunningly few people of African descent involved. In addition to Whatley, Kool & The Gang happened to be in the neighborhood and contribute to the chorus. The lack of voices of color doesn’t help the colonial vibe of the event.
All-in-all, it’s extremely heartfelt, very DIY, very messy, and not without its problems. If I had to pick a favorite moment, it’d be Phil Collins giving it a go on the drums in his sweater vest. I’m biased, but I don’t think Phil gets enough credit for his charity work. He may not have always been out in front, but he was tirelessly willing to donate his time to any cause that asked.
“We Are The World” - USA For Africa Released 7 March, 1985
Released only 3 months after “Do They Know It’s Christmas”, “We Are The World” sounds like it came from a completely different era. The songwriting and production of the first song were typical of the early-80s new wave era. “We Are The World”, featuring the beloved/dreaded Yamaha DX7 electric piano, was an R&B ballad with a sound that belonged to the end of the decade.
The American tune, created with the luxury of a little more time to put things together as well as the wizardry of Quincy Jones, is an oh-so-slick affair with a much more fully-realized sounds than its predecessor. Another key difference is that, while Band Aid were largely composed of the members of a few bands, USA for Africa took more of a everybody-who-is-anybody approach.
The list of soloists is daunting: Lionel Richie, Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, Kenny Rogers, James Ingram, Tina Turner, Billy Joel, Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, Dione Warwick, Willie Nelson, Al Jarreau, Bruce Springsteen, Kenny Loggins, Steve Perry, Daryl Hall, Huey Lewis, Cyndi Lauper, Kim Carnes, Bob Dylan, and Ray Charles.
Of course, the music can’t possibly match up to a cast like that. It’s as harmless and inoffensive and forgettable as you could possible want. And the lyrics are problematic in a very different way than those of “Do They Know It’s Christmas”. Where I think the words were meant to convey “This is our responsibility to do something”, it comes across more as “Look at us and this marvelous thing we are doing for other people…look at us!”
On the plus side, the American song features a good number of African-American artists and it’s better for it. Unfortunately, instead of coming across as having it “white savior” complex, it still kind of lands on “rich American savior” which is…better? The video is far less unguarded than the UK song’s, so the charming moments are few and far between. As tempted as I am to select seeing Willie Nelson and Dione Warwick trading verses as my favorite moment, I have to give that honor to Cyndi Lauper. She brings it with an energy that Springsteen only wishes he had, and she can actually sing, too.
Thanks for indulging me in this. Now let’s skip to things I actually want to listen to over the holidays. One of the things we always look forward to is when the Neko Atsume app switches to its winter music. It’s the same song that the game normally uses, but it’s a slower, more ethereal arrangement and it gives me chills the first time it plays during the game every winter.
Back in ye olden days, when I worked in the record store, there was one record that we could not keep in stock. No one really knew the album or the artist, but when we’d play the record in-store, we’d sell out of it. I’m not kidding when I say this was often our #1 seller of all genres in December. It’s George Winston’s December and you probably want it on in the background at some point.
Long live new age music, and long live Windham Hill. Happy whatever-holiday-you-choose-to-celebrate, and take care of yourself, ok? -RK

What’s up guys? I’m back again with another one among my honest self-help/personal development product reviews (in a very similar vein to the reviews I even have already finished products like Manifestation Miracle (review), Cosmic Ordering Secrets, and the Power of Conversational Hypnosis). Today we tend to are having a look at a extremely hot new product known as Total Money Magnetism, by renowned author and private development guru, Steve G. Jones. Steve carved out his niche as a clinical hypnotherapist, and has gone on to author a range of in style books and courses on self-help, hypnotherapy, and private development. As an example, you might have already come back across his admittedly dated trying, however nonetheless successful and widespread hypnosis mp3s website. If not, then you'll be able to try it out here: ==> Total Cash Magnetism – Visit Official Web site Now you’re in all probability thinking “oh great, another “celebrity” product”. However there’s a catch here – Steve G. Jones is genuinely quite a well known figure in this trade. Check out his Wikipedia page, as an example … or his Facebook profile that features a really huge following. All that aside, Steve G. Jones is back within the ring with another personal development product called Total Money Magnetism, and today we have a tendency to are visiting tear it to items to see if it's actually any good, and whether or not it's worth a purchase! What's Total Cash Magnetism? Before we can review Total Cash Magnetism, it is vital to urge a feel for what this product is and what it really sets out to achieve. At its most basic level, Steve G. Jones’ Total Cash Magnetism is a personal development training course that's engineered around the concept of rewiring your brain to make you successful in terms of cash. While many products, like the venerable Manifestation Miracle, are all concerning unlocking the hidden power of your brain to realize a range of various aims, Total Cash Magnetism (as the name suggests) really will specialize in the $$$ aspect of success. Like most in style personal development courses, it comes with a variety of various parts that we tend to can discuss in a lot of detail currently: What is Included In Total Cash Magnetism? As mentioned on top of, there are a number of different “elements” that come included after you download Total Cash Magnetism. Here is basic overview of what you get:     A digital download copy of the most Total Cash Magnetism product (an eBook, primarily).     The Millionaire’s Mindset video, which includes a wealth (hehe, pun intended) of interviews with real-life millionaires that is designed to help kickstart you into monetary success.     6 self-help hypnosis mp3s from Steve G. Jones, that are designed to work in conjunction with the main product so as to boost your financial and wealth generation success.     three bonus “Platinum Sessions” with Steve.     A free month’s subscription to the Amazing Self personal development course, which incorporates a a lot of generalised approach to success in life, love, health, and wealth (please see my note on this below within the “cons” section of this review of Total Money Magnetism).     Another video course known as “three Fastest Ways that To make Money Online”. This is often by a successful Internet marketer with a big worldwide following referred to as Mark Ling, and is all regarding helping you reach your financial goals by making money on the Internet. Along side Total Cash Magnetism, this is a powerful duo. Here’s a graphical illustration of what you get: total cash magnetism review - will it really work?   Key Product Details Now could be a smart time to look at key product details, such as worth, download format, how you can pay, refund period etc. Here’s what you need to know:     Value: $forty seven USD – please see my note within the “cons” section on truthful pricing     Refund amount: 60 days, no questions asked     Payment options accepted: Credit card, Paypal     Payment processor: Clickbank (one amongst the globe leaders in digital payment processing) Total Cash Magnetism Execs Currently we come back to the stage of this review where we will start to look at the execs and cons of the merchandise. This can be extremely the most “meat” of the review, and is what you should pay close attention to when determining whether or not or not you ought to think about getting and downloading Total Money Magnetism. Here’s what I very like regarding this product:     It’s a great quality product – The company that publishes Total Cash Magnetism, Unica Publications, includes a fantastic account for manufacturing very top quality digital info merchandise. This product is no exception, and oozes with professionalism and good production quality. From the slick PDF eBook, through to the crisp quality MP3s, everything here is made by individuals who clearly recognize their craft.     Insightful, perspective-altering teachings on wealth and money success – Steve G. Jones is undoubtedly a successful fellow, and his success at generating wealth undoubtedly translates through to the teachings during this product. Although it isn’t going to form you wealthy overnight, you'll learn some insightful ways and techniques for unlocking your mind to a larger chance of economic success.     Cheap price – $47 USD could be a fairly cheap value for this kind of product (actually much cheaper than some different choices like the Power of Conversational Hypnosis, which weighs in at nearly $two hundred!) Although the scope of the product is sort of slim, it still isn’t badly priced at all.     Secure payment and download processing – I’m a firm believer keep your personal details personal and secure, and will never purchase a digital product unless I am confident that my privacy is being safeguarded. As a result of Clickbank.com has a very trusted and well-tested platform for handling payments and downloads in a secure fashion, you'll rest assured that your details will be a hundredpercent safe and secure when shopping for and downloading this product.     Generous refund window – you don’t need to stress regarding getting caught short with a product that you just aren’t glad with. Thanks to a terribly generous sixty day, no-queries-asked, cash-back guarantee you'll continuously get a refund if you aren’t happy. You simply email the product vendor’s support address, and then they can process the refund among a few days. In the unlikely event that you did have any issues, Clickbank (the payment processor) can FOREVER facet with the customer and put the refund through.     Ongoing support and updates – This product has already been released for the most effective part of a year, and has seen continued support and updates throughout this time. I have no reason to suspect that the merchandise can be abandoned in the longer term either. This means that you don’t have to worry concerning purchasing and then polishing off with an unsupported product that is left with no updates or improvements over time. Total Cash Magnetism Cons Nothing in life is excellent; especially not personal development courses. Like everything I even have reviewed therefore far, Steve G. Jones’ product will have some notable downsides:     “Dishonest” pricing – I even have mentioned this issue before on a variety of different reviews. And, unfortunately, this ugly problem once again rears its head. Like many digital info products, Total Cash Magnetism suffers from an absence of transparent pricing. Once you visit the sales page and end watching the introductory video, you may see a special supply pricing saying that the product has been discounted twice (all the way down to its final value of $47).     Primarily, the value always has and in all probability continuously be $forty seven. The significant, supposedly “time sensitive” discounting is just there to try and encourage you to buy quickly.     A small amount thin on content compared to some other merchandise I have seen. Because Total Cash Magnetism is therefore focused on, well, money, it positively has less content than some competing product like Manifestation Miracle. Even though I think it is fairly moderately priced at $forty seven, it may be a touch low on content if you’re trying for more than just a manner to extend your financial income. However, when you consider that you're insured by a very watertight cash-back guarantee, you don’t really have too much to stress about.     You’ll solely get out what you put in. I’ve spent a small amount of time wondering whether or not or not I should embrace this within the “cons” section of my review, or in the conclusion … however really the top result can be the identical either manner. As with all product about personal development and self-improvement, the extremely big drawback is that you can only get out of it what you set in. This is as a result of you're addressing merchandise that are all about coaching your mind to work in new ways in which. This is in distinction to a physical product, like a brand new electric toothbrush. If you go and purchase an electric toothbrush, then – as long as you truly use it – you’ll get some reasonably benefit as a result of it works of its own accord. Conversely, with data merchandise like TMM or any of the alternative merchandise I actually have reviewed on this website, you merely see a benefit if you truly take what is taught and create a aware effort to apply it to your life. As a result of of this, I suppose it's fair to mention that the actual price you derive from a product like Total Money Magnetism extremely does depend to some extent on your ability to absorb the knowledge provided, and then work diligently to put it to smart use. total cash magnetism pricing Here’s what I mean by dishonest/unethical pricing – the value can always be $forty seven … it doesn’t matter if you “act currently” or “act later.” Review Conclusion So – all things being thought-about – should you purchase Steve G. Jones’ Total Money Magnetism? The answer to the current queryvery depends on what your goals in life are. If you've got invariably wished to become wealthy and improve your financial position, then it's positively a worthy purchase as there is some really high quality teaching here about how you can move to a new dimension of monetary success. However, if you're simply curious about personal development in an exceedingly additional general context, then I suppose that you must look to different choices like Manifestation Miracle.

However, when you consider that you are backed up by a very watertight cash-back guarantee, you don’t truly have too much to stress about.     You’ll only get out what you set in. I’ve spent a touch of time considering whether or not or not I ought to embrace this within the “cons” section of my review, or within the conclusion … but very the tip result will be the same either approach. As with all product regarding personal development and self-improvement, the really massive problem is that you'll be able to only get out of it what you put in. This can be as a result of you are handling products that are all concerning training your mind to figure in new ways. This can be in contrast to a physical product, like a replacement electrical toothbrush. If you go and get an electric toothbrush, then – as long as you actually use it – you’ll get some kind of benefit because it works of its own accord. Conversely, with information merchandise like TMM or any of the alternative products I even have reviewed on this web site, you merely see a benefit if you really take what's taught and create a conscious effort to apply it to your life. As a result of of this, I think it is honest to say that the actual worth you derive from a product like Total Cash Magnetism really does rely to some extent on your ability to absorb the information provided, and then work diligently to put it to good use. total cash magnetism pricing Here’s what I mean by dishonest/unethical pricing – the value can always be $47 … it doesn’t matter if you “act now” or “act later.” Review Conclusion So – all things being thought of – should you purchase Steve G. Jones’ Total Cash Magnetism? The answer to the current queryreally depends on what your goals in life are. If you have got invariably wished to become wealthy and improve your financial position, then it's positively a worthy get as there's some truly top quality teaching here regarding how you can move to a replacement dimension of economic success. However, if you're just fascinated by personal development in an exceedingly more general context, then I think that you ought to look to different choices such as Manifestation Miracle.

What’s up guys? I’m back again with another one in all my honest self-help/personal development product reviews (in a similar vein to the reviews I actually have already finished merchandise like Manifestation Miracle (review), Cosmic Ordering Secrets, and therefore the Power of Conversational Hypnosis). Nowadays we tend to are taking a look at a really hot new product known as Total Money Magnetism, by renowned author and private development guru, Steve G. Jones. Steve carved out his niche as a clinical hypnotherapist, and has gone on to author a range of standard books and courses on self-facilitate, hypnotherapy, and personal development. As an example, you might have already come back across his admittedly dated wanting, however nonetheless successful and in style hypnosis mp3s web site. If not, then you'll check it out here: ==> Total Cash Magnetism – Visit Official Website Now you’re probably thinking “oh nice, another “megastar” product”. But there’s a catch here – Steve G. Jones is genuinely quite a well-known figure during this industry. Check out his Wikipedia page, for example … or his Facebook profile that features a really massive following. All that aside, Steve G. Jones is back in the ring with another personal development product called Total Money Magnetism, and nowadays we have a tendency to are visiting tear it to pieces to determine if it's truly any sensible, and whether or not or not it's price a buy! What is Total Money Magnetism? Before we have a tendency to will review Total Cash Magnetism, it is vital to get a feel for what this product is and what it truly sets out to realize. At its most basic level, Steve G. Jones’ Total Money Magnetism may be a personal development training course that is built round the concept of rewiring your brain to make you successful in terms of money. While many product, like the venerable Manifestation Miracle, are all about unlocking the hidden power of your brain to attain a range of various aims, Total Cash Magnetism (as the name suggests) extremely will concentrate on the $$$ side of success. Like most popular personal development courses, it comes with a range of different parts that we have a tendency to can discuss in additional detail now: What is Included In Total Money Magnetism? As mentioned on top of, there are a selection of different “elements” that come included when you download Total Cash Magnetism. Here is basic overview of what you get:     A digital download copy of the main Total Cash Magnetism product (an eBook, essentially).     The Millionaire’s Mindset video, that includes a wealth (hehe, pun intended) of interviews with real-life millionaires that is designed to assist kickstart you into financial success.     six self-facilitate hypnosis mp3s from Steve G. Jones, that are designed to figure in conjunction with the most product in order to reinforce your monetary and wealth generation success.     3 bonus “Platinum Sessions” with Steve.     A free month’s subscription to the Amazing Self personal development course, which has a more generalised approach to success in life, love, health, and wealth (please see my note on this below within the “cons” section of this review of Total Cash Magnetism).     Another video course known as “3 Fastest Ways in which To make Money Online”. This can be by a successful Internet marketer with a big worldwide following referred to as Mark Ling, and is all about serving to you reach your financial goals by making cash on the Internet. At the side of Total Money Magnetism, this can be a robust pair. Here’s a graphical illustration of what you get: total cash magnetism review - will it extremely work?   Key Product Details Now is a good time to look at key product details, such as worth, download format, how you'll pay, refund period etc. Here’s what you wish to know:     Price: $47 USD – please see my note in the “cons” section on truthful pricing     Refund period: sixty days, no questions asked     Payment choices accepted: Credit card, Paypal     Payment processor: Clickbank (one amongst the globe leaders in digital payment processing) Total Cash Magnetism Execs Currently we have a tendency to return to the stage of this review where we can start to appear at the pros and cons of the merchandise. This is extremely the main “meat” of the review, and is what you should pay close attention to when determining whether or not or not you should think about buying and downloading Total Money Magnetism. Here’s what I extremely like about this product:     It’s a nice quality product – The company that publishes Total Money Magnetism, Unica Publications, includes a fantastic log for producing very high quality digital information products. This product is not any exception, and oozes with professionalism and good production quality. From the slick PDF eBook, through to the crisp quality MP3s, everything here is made by folks who clearly understand their craft.     Insightful, perspective-altering teachings on wealth and financial success – Steve G. Jones is undoubtedly a successful fellow, and his success at generating wealth positively interprets through to the teachings during this product. Although it isn’t going to form you wealthy overnight, you'll learn some insightful methods and techniques for unlocking your mind to a bigger likelihood of economic success.     Cheap worth – $47 USD is a fairly affordable worth for this kind of product (actually a lot of cheaper than some different selections like the Power of Conversational Hypnosis, that weighs in at nearly $two hundred!) Although the scope of the merchandise is quite slim, it still isn’t badly priced in any respect.     Secure payment and download processing – I’m a firm believer keep your personal details non-public and secure, and can never purchase a digital product unless I am confident that my privacy is being safeguarded. As a result of Clickbank.com features a very trusted and well-tested platform for handling payments and downloads during a secure fashion, you'll be able to rest assured that your details will be a hundredpercent safe and secure when shopping for and downloading this product.     Generous refund window – you don’t need to stress about obtaining caught short with a product that you aren’t glad with. Thanks to a terribly generous sixty day, no-queries-asked, money-back guarantee you'll be able to perpetually get a refund if you aren’t happy. You just email the product vendor’s support address, and then they can process the refund inside some days. In the unlikely event that you probably did have any problems, Clickbank (the payment processor) will INVARIABLY side with the client and put the refund through.     Ongoing support and updates – This product has already been released for the most effective part of a year, and has seen continued support and updates throughout now. I actually have no reason to suspect that the merchandise can be abandoned in the future either. This means that you don’t have to worry about purchasing and then completing with an unsupported product that is left with no updates or enhancements over time. Total Money Magnetism Cons Nothing in life is good; especially not personal development courses. Like everything I have reviewed thus so much, Steve G. Jones’ product will have some notable downsides:     “Dishonest” pricing – I have mentioned this issue before on a variety of various reviews. And, sadly, this ugly drawback once once more rears its head. Like many digital data merchandise, Total Money Magnetism suffers from an absence of clear pricing. When you visit the sales page and end watching the introductory video, you will see a special provide pricing saying that the product has been discounted twice (right down to its final value of $47).     Essentially, the worth perpetually has and probably invariably be $forty seven. The serious, supposedly “time sensitive” discounting is just there to try and encourage you to buy quickly.     A small amount skinny on content compared to another products I have seen. As a result of Total Cash Magnetism is therefore focused on, well, cash, it positively has less content than some competing products like Manifestation Miracle. Even though I assume it's fairly fairly priced at $forty seven, it might be a touch low on content if you’re looking for additional than simply a method to extend your financial income. However, when you concentrate on that you're backed up by a terribly watertight money-back guarantee, you don’t actually have too much to worry about.     You’ll only get out what you put in. I’ve spent a touch of your time considering whether or not or not I should include this within the “cons” section of my review, or in the conclusion … however extremely the top result will be the identical either means. As with all merchandise regarding personal development and self-improvement, the really massive downside is that you'll be able to solely get out of it what you place in. This is often as a result of you're dealing with products that are all about training your mind to work in new ways in which. This is in contrast to a physical product, like a replacement electric toothbrush. If you go and get an electrical toothbrush, then – as long as you actually use it – you’ll get some reasonably benefit as a result of it works of its own accord. Conversely, with data product like TMM or any of the alternative product I even have reviewed on this website, you simply see a profit if you actually take what is taught and make a aware effort to use it to your life. Because of this, I suppose it is fair to mention that the particular value you derive from a product like Total Money Magnetism really will depend to some extent on your ability to absorb the information provided, and then work diligently to put it to good use. total money magnetism pricing Here’s what I mean by dishonest/unethical pricing – the price can always be $47 … it doesn’t matter if you “act currently” or “act later.” Review Conclusion Thus – all things being thought-about – should you get Steve G. Jones’ Total Money Magnetism? The answer to the current question very depends on what your goals in life are. If you have got perpetually wished to become wealthy and improve your financial position, then it is definitely a worthy purchase as there's some really top quality teaching here concerning how you can move to a replacement dimension of monetary success. However, if you're simply fascinated by personal development during a a lot of general context, then I suppose that you ought to look to other options like Manifestation Miracle.
