i actually think i have some sort of brain damage from chapter 403 because now ive taken my bkdk obsession to a whole new degree. like, i was insane before, but now i feel as if i should be genuinely put into an asylum.

ive gone through a full on awakening.

before this chapter i refused to believe that bkdk would become canon/hinted bc like its wishful thinking. but now? ive fallen into the fucking deep end. i am of full belief that bkdk will become canon or at least be hinted bc horikoshi is cooking something and im so glad im not the only one to see it.

there is no way that man doesnt know what hes doing. bkdks entire arc has been fucking perfect and this man just keeps BUILDING UP. like all this talk about feelings, and how bkdk have never really spoken about them to eachother before??? this is like, building up to a fucking love confession i swear, because katsuki DIED for izuku, and izuku cant control his heart when it comes to katsuki, and like… what other explaination is there? atp i consider it canon that theyre in love with each other.

and the other most likely ship that i thought was gonna be canon, izuocha, just is not feasible. its not like i dislike the ship, no hate to it at all, but making it canon would be so fucking harmful to izuku and ochakos characters and we dont talk about that enough. it would a dissapointing, flat conclusion with barely any build up and itd be the bland, predictable formula. like, ochako has already basically wrapped up her thing with izuku with that entire fight with toga. shes admitted herself that her crush on izuku was more admiration than anything of massive substance. and dont even get me started on izuku. barring some fluster and embarrassed blushing in the early seasons, this boy has NOT reciprocated AT ALL. its actually ridiculous. izuku has been focused on like, two things only: hero work, and kacchan. izuku does not show ANY romantic feeling to ochako whatsoever.

surely, surely if horikoshi were to make this canon, he’d put in a little more effort? add some more chemistry, more development, more than just ‘boy meets girl. blush and get shy. little crush. get married. the end’?

that is bad storytelling, and horikoshi is anything but a bad storyteller. this guy adds foreshadowing YEARS before the chapter. horikoshi is INSANE when it comes to character + relationship + plot development. if horikoshi throws all that out the way, and makes izuocha canon, id be extremely, extremely disappointed. not because i hate the ship, but because itd be out of nowhere, disregard practically ALL development, and be nauseatingly dissatisfying.

talking of which, for the entire day ive been thinking about the foreshadowing for bkdk.

there. is. so. fucking. much. it feels like everytime i read like a new section of the manga, their relationship is described in the most frutti tutti rainbow gay way. im sorry, shigafo, did you just say that katsuki is closer to izuku than ANYONE else? excuse me, aizawa, did you just describe them as pair, a pair that the class revolves around? dont even mention the shit that izuku and katsuki say referring to each other. i cant even choose one to add in here, but every out of context bkdk quote has like these SEVERE more-than-platonic undertones, especially when you consider their past and their development. i feel like horikoshi has been doing some fucking insane foreshadowing for something MORE.

yk, i keep on thinking about how in the double spread in 403, the words ‘the beginning’ are displayed right over bkdk, as they find each other. call me delusional, but that has to be on purpose. i also keep on thinking about izukus green and orange gloves in so many official arts, and the light in both their eyes when they see each other, and the way theyre both always observing the other, never speaking about how they feel directly.

their relationship is just so, so……. and i feel like the only next step is for them to talk. just. fucking. talk. its been hinted at for so long, and horikoshi is doing SOMETHING.

them simply being together would be the most satisfying, developed, beautiful ending.

if they arent canon, i will die. ill say it now. bkdk canon. there is too much proof. as a writer, i know for a fact that i write everything for a REASON. why would horikoshi write this, if he wasn’t going to do anything with it?

bkdk will be canon. i dont care if i sound insane, or get proved entirely wrong. i now fully believe that the last page of the manga will be bkdk at a theme park eating crepes.

WHAT I THINK OF EACH BETTER IN BLACK COUPLE, IN THE ORDER THEY APPEARED ON THE ROSTER.

Wessa -> EXCITEMENT LEVEL 9/10. i always want to see more of these two and am curious about what they may do in paris. i'm picky with wessa content and very finicky with it, but i am currently cautiously optimistic about liking the story. if i do i think i will be a bit more satisfied with wessa's canon storyline/content as i want to see them in an established relationship. i'm so interested in what the little crystal ball/snowglobe on the cover means and kinda hope they get into some magical mayhem.

Clace -> EXCITEMENT LEVEL 7.5/10. I like Clace and they give me nostalgic feelings, so it will be fun to catch up with them. They're not, like, an all-time favorite ship, but I like them together and am curious what theyre like as an adult couple.

Arianna -> EXCITEMENT LEVEL 9/10. I'll admit that this ship is one i have some complicated feelings about, but i like them a lot anyway. they're one of the most interesting/compelling dynamics in the TSC canon to me even if i don't think they're thomastairherondaisy-like soulmates. i think that this story is a good choice because their story feels unfinished, and to properly conclude their storyline we need to see them have some conversations and make some compromises. i'm really rooting for them and am excited to see how their relationship works/changes.

Herondaisy -> EXCITEMENT LEVEL 1000/10. i mean, it's herondaisy. Did you really expect anything less? i'm pumped because i want to see them domestically after they acknowledge that they're married and in love. there's going to be a 2nd wedding rune scene, which is awesome and im hyped, but i also think we're probably gonna get some honeymoon adventure content of both of them and i am even MORE excited for that. i like how cordelia is running and james is reachng after her on the cover like "i love my wife she's so adventurous but come baaack. wait for meee." and YES??? good god. this one is going to be so good. and im so curious what the pomegranates are??? yeah??? i think something about being invincible because of persian myth. maybe it's because they're soulmates. an unstoppable duo. i'm gushing lol @angeldaisies @hanelizabeth. i need to stop but this will definitely happen again when i get to the thomastair story.

Sebastian and SQ -> EXCITEMENT LEVEL 8.5/10. okay i KNOW this one's controversial, and i get why one might be upset if their favourite ship did not make the cut. but like. okay. i am SO excited for this story. this is going to be DARK. this is going to be TWISTY. this is going to be the dark horse of the bunch, fundamentally fucked up and horrifying. doomed by the narrative. i'm so excited that this story is there because it's going to be so tonally unique. i think cassie wanted to write something truly fucked up, i think she has the talent to pull it off perfectly, and i am fucking pumped.

Jemma -> EXCITEMENT LEVEL 2/10 for the setting. it'll be cool seeing another institute while they're on their travel year. but otherwise i'm not vibing. i expected it fully though so it's fine, this is the only one in the set i'm considering a throwaway for me that i will for sure dislike. But that's okay! because next up is...

Thomastair -> EXCITEMENT LEVEL 1000/10. guys. look. these are the people whose love i am myself in love with. these are the people that make me believe in hope, and healing, and the power of getting better together and doing better. and we havent seen them in a lot of established relationship, so im glad to do so here. AND IN A ROMCOM. YES. and we're definitely getting content of them playing with zachary. which is like, a dream come true for me since a) i adore that kind of story, and b) zachary is such an important part of alastairs arc. i also think they're going to babysit him and everything that can go wrong will. he's lost! he's rolling away! ahhh! oh it's going to be great. like the herondaisy story this is definitely going to be beloved by me. there's no way to make me not like it. this is going to be one of my comfort stories for the rest of my life, i can tell. like nbs or cls or eet or the herondaisy story or the matthew novella. the thomastair story goes into this special and exclusive category. but yea im gushing again because they're soulmates and i love them <333

Kierarktina -> EXCITEMENT LEVEL 6/10. Yes, i am not really a kierarktina fan, but hear me out. I find their relationship interesting, and they have a lot of things that really don't work. but I think a story where they begin to unpack these differences would be astounding. OUH. IMMENSE DIFIFUCLTY there is no way i could possibly order them. so i will haave to modify to just. 5(ish) headcanons. starting with a freebie (tenmyouji voice in the chuckie the doll voice) ive got a kid. gendahflooid. as for the full 5 lets see lets see lets see one absolutely entirely fascinated by old forms of travel. i imagine not many in the town have vehicles, their grandpa being among a small handfull. and so the methods that dont exist anymore, she always want to hear all about. airplanes especially. tenmyoui always htought them nothing too special in his trip(s) between japan and the united states, but quark when they wee littler demanded his 'airplane story' again and again 2! their birthday is january 17 2064! this would be the 100 yr anniversary of (from my limited understanding) the first scientfici article published about quark particles. i find it so neat that it just BARELY works. but it does! work! #3 i have a hard time differentaiting what is headcanon versus inference but. unreliable narrator in their letter w regards to their health lol. i think THEY think theyre a lucky and healthy kid. im positive this is untrue lol. i imagine they have pretty severe developmental issues what with. lack of prenatal and birth care, implied prematurity, malnutriton, NOT WALKING UNTIL AGE 2, and lack of tenmyouji able to be w them to get them moving around building muscle. then their illness at age 3. i think they likely are far behind what *we* would consider healthy, espeically in early life. and once she had tos tart working they just had to, work through it! 4. minor physical apperance things! freckles they absolutely have freckles. screen texturing during certain scenes even makes it look like she has freckles! and also, their teeth are SO jacked up. defintely would need braces once they lost all their baby teeth but. well. and just generally. far more scratched up and dirty than the game makes them appear lol. i totally get for the game they had to hide spoilers of course. and can even see tenmyouji trying to make sure theyre as cleaned up as possible and wearing their best before meeting akane. but i just do not think theyre *this* cleaned up lol the fifth one. phew im glad i thought of different ways to format all of the numbers. im funny. but okay the fifth head canon oh god its so hard to pick just one more. but. something entirely unexplored i think abt a lot is, the ideas they had of their mom before they found out they were adopted. that they figured, always imagined, that tenmyouji had a daughter, who was of course their mother. and that its only retroactively they can say "but he'd never been married or had a kid before". so they imagine the daughter that she was. the person that she was. make up stories abt her in their head, thinking abt what she looked and acted like. what she did in their home. if their room used to be her room. and never talked abt it to their grandpa bc they figured itd make him sad. but that led to not understanding until they were 7 that the person they imagined, the daughter of tnemyouji, never existed. and thats a weird thing to grapple with! they dunno how to feel about it. now not having an attachment through that. i hope i aritculated that well! thank you thank you for the oppuruntity to share some if you ever want ten trillion or more (OR TO TALK ABOUT YOUR OWN. I know i used to have like drafts and scenes that focused and centered on y/ns past? Basically they were remnants of what led to the marriage. Also i think i had planned for y/n to be in shibuya during the closing of satoru.

Since y/n is technically a cursed spirit, geto can ingest her. He was suppose to use y/n as a trump card to distract gojo as well (kenjaku could defeat y/n. Shes basically undertrained and hes like a millennium old monster) , altho she snaps out of the whole puppet thing, and eventually slices her neck in front of satoru with her own blade. Satoru sees this all so the last thing he sees as the box closes is y/ns blood spluttering to his face,

Minazuki ends with satoru trapped in the box but his “vision” is different. Basically the vision shows an alternate world where theyre normal, hes simply a physics professor and hes married to y/n. He snaps out of it though because its the prison box, and he suddenly feels smthng warm on his face (which is y/ns blood) and he has a mental breakdown because he realizes y/n is dead and everything in front of him is fake.

Aster: Aster doesnt really have much of a love life lmao. They've hooked up with some people but they've never had a proper romantic relationship. everytime they think about having a relationship with someone all they can think about is Blessing

Ro: Ro has dated a couple of people but none of them ever lasted long. A couple of them they dated was because they didn't know how to tell the other person they werent interested that happened to me twice. They dont really like hookups or anything like that, they honestly don't even have the time for them. Overall Ros love life has basically been dead since their Dad died since they have to spend so much time trying to get work and take care of their family

Jesse: This mf gets bitches guys. Jesse just has a charm about him that people gravitate towards so its not very difficult for him to find someone to hookup with. Now his romantic love life has been dead for a while. He dated a couple of people when he was a teenage but none of them ever became serious. Now jesse and adrian is a whole can of worms that I'll talk about another time if anyone is interested

Harrison: Harrison almost got married once. He was like 19 and it was very spontaneous thing. He looks back on it and is glad he got to experience love like that but is also very glad that he didnt actually go through with the marriage. He hasnt really had any type of love life since then and hes not really looking for one. Hes fine with just taking care of his little gremlins

Blessing: Canonically Blessing hasn't dated anyone but there will be an option to have a relationship with Ro during the time skip in Santa Fe. Very much first/young love. ( @25dejulho ) it depends on the save, but usually i start in another simmers save (my faves are ratboysims and simlicys), either build a house or find a shell off the gallery and decorate it myself, make a fam, then make some townies, give them all skills, careers, etc. just so theyre not like- newborns THEN start playing dkfjk its hella overkill and takes hours but thats how i do it 😭😭😭 tbh u dont even gotta do all that, u can just start in the aforementioned saves by other simmers and start ur own sims from scratch dkfjfgkj

( @catladyfinds ) hi!! i try to keep my cheating pretty minimal, but theres no like- hard fast rules i do. i never cheat money just bc i think its boring for my sims to be hella rich skfjkgfgk but at the same time, if they have to pee and the toilet is 3 stories up then ill just say fuck it and cheat it 😭😭 so my rule is pretty much, quick lil cheating of needs is fine, but nothing that would make the game too easy or unrealistic

tbh the biggest "plot twist" in the story is how it feels like gu zhuoyan is set up to be the "wife chaser"---from the manhua promo pics showing him as the cold and aloof city guy in contrast to zhuang fanxin's naive and sweet countryside boy look, gu zhuoyan having stricter parents, gu zhuoyan being way richer, the setting of "he's only staying for a year", gu zhuoyan saying things like “i’ll make him fall for me to get back at my parents”, so i was rly shook when it's actually zhuang fanxin who constantly breaks his promises (though unintentionally) and becomes the "husband chaser" post-timeskip

their breakup chapters made me tear up ngl it was so drawn out and so so sad

the post-timeskip chapters r so fukin heavy?? like the author "tried" to make it a "romcom" with zfx chasing after gzy but there r so many inconsistencies in zfx's behavior and he's changed so much that one can't help but feel like there is something Extremely Wrong here

it's moumou but more depressing; i'd compare moumou to yybl's pts/fjx and hybw to waterfire, they kinda have that kind of vibe ish. moumou is very... at the core the drama is family-centered and jiang tian/sheng wang r rly quite "ideal" strong leads, and nothing drastic happens during the time skip, but in here zfx suffered so fukin much holy shit i'm so glad he got retribution and can finally be happy with gzy

there was a review that complained how zfx is inconsistent post timeskip, how he’s a “bad cop” professionally but turns into a muddling teenager when w gzy, and i just… rly disagree with that lmao like it’s p clear how he turned out like that, how he built this “stronger, better self” so he could cover up his history of depression and make it seem like he’s a better match for gzy than in the past

god when it was revealed that zfx's "let's break up bc i fell in love w someone else and he wants me to delete ur contact" call to gzy was a call he made before he attempted suicide and just wanted gzy to let go and move on to find someone better my heart broke… he literally called gzy and was happy to hear his voice before what he thought would be his death

other things that make me think: it was mentioned that zfx chased after gzy so desperately like his life depended on it, and zfx did say that if gzy rejected him, he'd just continue to live on and wish him well, but i just wonder what zfx would have done after that, is he rly ok, would he lapse back to thinking that there's nothing else worth living for anymore, bc gzy was literally his lifeline during his darkest times

the "op-ness" of mc n ml aren't overly emphasized unlike most other school setting danmei where both of them have legions of fangirls and campus forum posts abt them, it's kind of a minor detail but i appreciate the lack of cringe

pei zhi and lu wen aren't canon /unreasonable tbf the author nvr stated theyre gna be canon, nor did these two seem to have romantic inclinations towards one another... but the chemistry... the subtext... compared to cheng jiashu who doesn't seem to make a good impression in general ofc lu wen seems like the better option… also the author straight up said cheng jiashu is a plot device LMAO he literally only exists to move the story along…

has that v kdrama like climax where everything near the end suddenly becomes super dramatic, like the development is logical and laid out well but it's still... v dramatic…

lowkey the summary is misleading i thought they’d meet on a blind date after their separation as in their intended blind date is each other but then it was actually a wrong room situation instead… nothing wrong with it but webnovels and misleading summaries name a more iconic duo
