Imagine my *surprised face but not really surprised* face when I see you’re going to write Tommy Shelby 🥹 IT’S HAPPENING!!! Oh you better strap yourself in girl, reaaaaaal tight for the ride you’re about to go on for not only all the series but for the depth of this motherfucking character!

I’ve always been into mafia/mob/gangster either Films, Series or documentaries & adaptations. Peaky Blinders is hands down the best series I have ever watched and I still sing it’s praises to this day. This whole family will have you feeling all types of ways and I promise you won’t regret it. I love each character for so many different reasons, Tommy is the best character by far and was the reason I initially got hooked but the family unit is something so powerful ❤️

I’m so intrigued to see your writing for Tommy! Tommy’s character doesn’t change too much in terms of his mentality but his character grows so so much more throughout all the series. I often look back at series 1 and just want to cuddle & look after that man something silly. That man is infuriating and so lovable at the same time but I won’t spoil anything for you. I could talk about this for literal weeks and now I’m feeling I need to rewatch it all again for the 3rd time.

Ahhhhh, yes!! 🤭❤️ I'm still so new to the world of Peaky Blinders and Tommy's character that as soon as I feel comfortable with the storyline and get to know him better, I'll hop on getting his fic written for you! 🥴 I already know he's a hell of a character and his mannerisms are actually gonna be fun to write out fic wise... 👀

I've heard a lot of recommendations and praise for lots of gangster/mafia TV shows but Peaky Blinders is on the tip of everyone's tongues, I swear. 😭😭 I actually hate how little time I have to delve into new media so this one might take me much longer than I expect but it will happen for sure! The series more than just held my interest after the first episode, so we're getting there. 🤭

My goal and aim is the same: keeping it canon!! Tommy needs to be 100% as canon as possible to the fullest so just like my Godfather fics and everything else, you can feel immersed like you're actually speaking with Tommy and right next to him... 🥵 That's why I'm studying the hell out of him and his behaviour when I'm watching the show lmfao.

[[ Oops Brain Fog Made Me Forget to Update Update —

my parents and I have been back home for about awhile, and yes, I did succeed in finding blue candy at the airport! :D

….but I haven’t been able to eat much of the blue candy because I got sick on the final approach from all of the turbulence (I wish I was joking but we literally only had two minutes before our plane touched the ground 🥴🤢)

we were reunited with our pets and it was so sweet seeing the excited “oh?! you’re back!” reaction from the pets (especially my senior girl dog’s tippy taps!!)

I rested and did some behind-the-scenes work on adding even more detail to Katie’s about and story because I wasn’t up for any more writing since my stomach still felt queasy for a few days

… the sleep specialist that recommended my sleep study in the first place shut his office down before the new year started (while we were visiting family) and basically went “here’s your paperwork with a formal diagnosis, prescription for medicine that may or may not be covered by insurance, a few refills of the medicine that is covered, tell us how the new medicine works for you / report any side effects — JUST KIDDING, I’m out of here, byyyeee! 😗✌️”

the medicine that may or may not be covered…..it’s not looking like it’s not covered because I’m having to appeal my health insurance premium after the price increased 1500% (give or take a few dollars, but, yeah. THANKS SO MUCH, SLEEP SPECIALIST SIR.)

this upcoming week also has absurdly low temperatures in the single digits and a winter weather warning so I want it to have a good amount of snow because my senior girl dog loves snow and is adorable when she plays in it though we’ll have to try and not become popsicles 🥶]]

after binge watching all of the episodes of P.JOTV so far, I don’t know whether my inner child or my currently adult self is sobbing more.

my parents and I visited the beach and there was also a candy store less than five minutes away from the beach front so you best believe that I went looking for blue candy

had mixed results as there was blue candy, but not a lot of blue candy by itself, which means I’ll be checking the candy store in the airport on the way back home

found old family yearbooks and had a delightful time (“Uncle -Name- had hair???” “did you think he was born without hair?” I’ve never seen him with any so…..” & “I found a picture of grandpa and grandma young and I’ve realized never seen a picture of them young until now. I really don’t know how to feel about this.” & “WHAT DO YOU MEAN DAD HAD A MUSTACHE.” & “aww, look at the teeny Dad!”)

however, I have noticed that the outlets here in my grandparents’ house don’t really keep the charge for the phones or laptop for very long -suspicious squint- and the WI-FI is kind of wonky here — like I have to be in specific areas of the house in order to have access so. 🤪 those answers are actually going into the queue since we’re heading back home tomorrow and have to get up extremely early
