VIOLET ę¨
ĘÉ ever since getting out of prison and restarting her life, vi had been looking for a new purpose.
ĘÉ she had found a solid job, managed to reconnect with wither last siblings left alive, and started to build up a life for herself, but still, she felt...aimless. she longed for a deeper connection than the ones she had, someone she could yet again.
ĘÉ and then she meets you, a sweet little store owner with a voice that sounds like a symphony and an attitude as sweet as cookies. the first time she even met you she bumped into you on the street outside your bakery, knocking you supplies for your treats all over the ground. she's expecting that usual zaunite 'watch where you're going!' but instead you tell her not to worry, that you were carrying too many things anyway.
ĘÉ it was almost instinct for her to assure you she was at fault, downright demanding she help you carry everything that dropped inside and that it was the least she could do. you call her a sweetheart and tell her if she does you'll send her home with a plate of her favorite dessert. how could she say no?
ĘÉ she cant help but to quickly hang out with you whenever she can. after her shifts she stops by to help you close up, telling you its the least she could do for someone who was oh-so sweet. you seem to welcome her affections, whispering one late night when making some extra batter that you always appreciate when she stops by. she goes home on a high that night.
ĘÉ but then the worst thing ever happens. you get a boyfriend.
ĘÉ apparently he's some old family friend who moved back to the city when he found a small fortune overseas and was ready to come back to 'win you over like he tried years ago'. you told the story with a slightly wistful voice but all vi could do was nod along with wide eyes and a shut mouth.
ĘÉ eventually, she meets the guy, a tall and rather weasly looking guy who was waiting impatiently outside the store. she gave him a simple greeting and all he could do was tilt his head in recognition that she was there, apparently. she passed him and went to the back of the store and asked you what he was doing standing outside looking all suspicious. her eyes nearly bulged out of her head when you told her he was waiting to take you out but had to stand outside because he couldn't stand the smell of bread.
ĘÉ yeah, this definitely wasn't gonna last long. sheâd just have to get you to see that.
ĘÉ sadly, she didn't have to do much work. ton a sunny day when the two of you were walking through the upper city levels together you stopped in your tracks, a talking vi whose arm was wrapped with yours questioning what made you stop before following your eyesight to see your boyfriend in the arms of another woman, way too close for comfort. vi wanted nothing more in that moment than to go and knock the bastard's lights out, but she had to prioritize you first.
ĘÉ you go into a depression for a week, your shop closed and your apartment locked as you skulk and cry in your home. but thankfully you gave vi a key not too long into your friendship, and she wakes you up one afternoon and demands you go and clean yourself up while she takes care of your chores.
ĘÉ you come out of the shower feeling rejuvenated and refreshed, your mood only lifting higher at the smell of cookies in the air. you pad out to the kitchen and cant help but smile when you see vi standing with a tray of perfectly made chocolate chip cookies on the island counter.
ĘÉ you sit up on your counter and moan at the taste of the cookies, vi accepting your praise of her baking skills with pride as she rubs over your bare thighs. eventually the topic steers to your recent heartbreak and vi makes sure you can complain and vent to her all you want.
ĘÉ but the last thing she wants to hear is you blaming yourself, teary-eyed and mumbling about how maybe you were too overbearing in your affections. she gently but sternly brings your attention to her, making sure you look her in the eyes when she goes on about how youâre the nicest and most soft-natured person sheâs ever known and he was a fool to not see what an amazing woman he had in front of him.
ĘÉ and you cant help but feel even worse at the clear effect her affection has on you, unconsciously biting her lip at her praise and closeness. her eyes dart down to your lips and back to your eyes, slowly inching her head forward for permission. as soon as you slightly nod your head sheâs kissing you with months of pent-up adoration, warmth, and lust.
ĘÉ a small part of you feels guilty for moving on to your close friend only a week after you broke up with your boyfriend, but when her fingers are drifting down to your cunt and making you cry as you cum over and over again, you can't find it in you to care.
ĘÉ âhe was an idiot to give up on someone as sweet as you. but down worry muffin, iâm not gonna take that chance.â
SEVIKA ę¨
ĘÉ sevika had made a promise to herself years ago: don't mess with married women.
ĘÉ she could give herself some grace, she was young and dumb, and the woman was incredibly gorgeous. and when a woman with legs that could bring any person woman or man to their knees comes up to you and asks you your plans for the night, you cant exactly pass up the opportunity. though she wishes she did after her partner caught them together in bed and she got in one of the worst fights of her life.
ĘÉ but she had to admit things in her life were getting a bitâŚstale, to say the least. her schedule was a steady routine of doing tasks for silco, reeling in jinx, and keeping the last drop working like a well-oiled machine. she didn't want anything drastic that would screw up their plans to happen, justâŚsomething.
ĘÉ and oh, does she get it. some out of towner got too rowdy in the bar and started a bar fight and before she could come in and get things under control theirams leg gets broken. so now sheâs tasked with finding a good enough replacement to cover him for the few months it gets healed since he for some reason couldn't just take a shimmer dose and get back on his feet in no time.
ĘÉ she goes through dozens of recruits, all either too disobedient or downright atrocious behind a bar. sheâs just about to give up and force one of the goons to do it when you come through the door. youâre rather unassuming, and at first she things youâre joking until you travel behind the bar and instruct her to give you any drink and you can make it. after ten different drinks sheâs more than convinced.
ĘÉ she doesn't talk to you much at first, youâre just another cog in the machine that keeps the enterprise running smoothly. obviously sheâs noticed that youâre attractive, surrounded by a stern but easy-going aura that makes most customers sit and want to talk to you for hours on end. it amused her when she watched how you convinced three different patrons to buy some more drinks so youâd continue telling them a wild story of some adventure you apparently had in bilgewater years back.
ĘÉ she can't help but ask you if its true later when the bar is closing and youâre wiping everything down, rolling her eyes when you call her out for listening to your conversations. you reveal that all your stories of adventure and excitement are true, but that you gave that life up when you decided to settle down after you get married.
ĘÉ she scoffs that the woman you married must be a hell of a catch to get you to leave behind such an exciting life, and she sees your eyes drop when you reveal that life with your husband is a nice and quiet alternative to your days of danger. sevikaâs always had a good poker face, and sheâs really glad she has it now after hearing you gave up all of that for a guy. and that her gaydar was apparently wrong, which never happens.
ĘÉ but its almost like this is the challenge her mind has been looking for, because after that conversation she keeps having late-night talks with you when no one else is around. youâre disarmingly easy to talk to, able to show a compassion and understanding that isnât common for the folks down here. its only a few hours after she gets a bit too tipsy and accidentally lets slip a story about her upbringing that she lays in bed and slaps her human hand to her forehead in frustration when instead of being embarrassed all she can think about is your soft hand gently rubbing her shoulder as she poured her heart out.
ĘÉ she is so screwed.
ĘÉ eventually, you draw silcoâs attention. mostly because the profits from the bar have nearly doubled since you started working, partly because he can tell a certain someone is distracting sevika. he gave her a list of tasks one day that he could tell she hated doing and she went off with a nod and without a word, and she either had a new woman in her life or she was about to snap. he made sure to find out about you a few minutes later, and asked/demanded to know more about your life. in particular, any outside connections you had.
ĘÉ sevika doesn't know whether she wants to thank silco or kill him when youâre given a more permanent position at the bar and finally introduce the crew to your husband, a man who silco has apparently given a job in his booking department. when sevika pulls him aside later to ask why he would od something like that, he just. shrugs. silco never just shrugs.
ĘÉ now that youâve basically part of their little crime family it's even easier for sevika to spend more time with you. unfortunately for you jinx has taken a liking to you, but you handle it well and always make sure to give the girl her favorite drink in her favorite cup whenever she stops in the bar to babble on about some new weapon of mayhem sheâs decided to make.
ĘÉ but after a few weeks she notices your mood start to sour, how you start getting snippy with some of the more rowdy drunks who stumble through the bar. she catches you a few hours after closing sat behind the bar with a half drunken bottle in your hand and mascara running down your cheeks. normally if this was anyone else sheâd scoff to herself and quickly make her exit but instead she plops herself down next to you and demands you tell her what's wrong. through hiccups and tears, you tell her that youâre pretty sure your husband is lying to you. about a lot. in particular about where he spends his nights and comes back grumbling about âunfair betsâ and losing cash.
ĘÉ sevika assures you sheâll get to the bottom of it, and it only takes her a few hours of trailing thee guy to find out the problem. it seems your betrothed has been gambling your money away in seedy gambling circles, with some guys she swore she told to cut it out months ago when it came to rigging their dice when playing with tourists. but the amounts heâs using are definitely more than what either of you are making on a salary.
ĘÉ she tries not to smile when she picks the excuse of a man up by the back of his neck with her mech hand, reveling in the horrified look on his face as he makes up excuse after excuse for why heâs been stealing money from you and the boss, that he swears heâll make it back up to silco-
ĘÉ you come in the next day as confused as ever, whispering that your husband packed up his things in the middle of the night and disappeared. sevika sits you down and explains that your husband was a thief, stealing hundreds from silco rather sloppily under his nose, and was dealt with in a timely manner. but she assures you that you won't be affected by any debts he may have had, sheâll make sure of it and make sure none of those gamblers come after you.
ĘÉ you only grow closer and closer after that night, and its no surprise you start to catch feelings for the gorgeous woman who constantly makes sure youâre safe and protected. its on one of the bars rather more exciting nights that you relent and play a drinking game with some members of the crew, and in a moment of weakness accidentally admit that since your husband left you haven't been laid in weeks, and in an additional moment of weakness admit that the first person youâd like to rock your world would be none other than silcoâs second hand.
ĘÉ it was just your luck that the woman was walking by when the words left your lips, and fueled by her own dose of liquid courage came up behind you and whispered that she was free at that moment.
ĘÉ you expected many things when you settled down in zaun, and getting bent in half for hours on end by the second in command to the rule of the underground was not one of them. but when sevika groans in your ear and moans about how you have the tightest pussy sheâs ever had the pleasure of taking, youâre really glad it happened to you.
ĘÉ âgod, iâm really not gonna be able to stay away from you now. promise that the next time you get married youâre not gonna have to worry about being disappointed ever again.â
ĘÉ (when sevika walks in the next morning with a rare smile on her face silco does admit that he hired your husband knowing heâd be an idiot that sheâd have to get rid of. youâre welcome.)
ABBY ę¨
ĘÉ abby never saw herself as a jealous person. sheâd only been in one relationship before, and even though it ended rather sourly she knew it was only natural that theyâd both eventually move on. but when she sees you, a new wlf recruit walking and smiling side by side with owen, she feelsâŚweird. really weird.
ĘÉ she does feel bad that as soon as he introduces you all to the group at a small party thrown by some of the soldiers all she can manage is tight-lipped smile and a small wave. you visibly deflate and smile it off, immediately pulled away by nora and leah to grab some drinks. manny butts her shoulder with his, giving her that âwhat the hell?â look he loves to do. she defensively apologizes, because how should she react? her ex-boyfriend clearly has a thing for you, is she supposed to be all buddy buddy with you?
ĘÉ it doesn't help that its clear to everyone that youâre pretty. like, weirdly pretty for someone in the middle of an apocalyptic setting. crystal clear skin, smooth lips, and eyes of a beautiful shade. she caught herself staring once in the gym as you laughed with one of the trainers and had to quickly get herself together.
ĘÉ isaac must be playing a sick game because you then get assigned to go with her on patrol. she initially resented, questioning why you were tagging along when you mostly worked with the medics and mel was already trailing along. he said that apparently you had asked for the chance to get some more field practice and left it at that, dismissing her with a wave.
ĘÉ she was quiet for most of the ride to the patrol spot, hands tight on the steering wheel as you sat in the back of the truck with the others in the group and laughed at some story one the guys was talking about.
ĘÉ god, even your laugh is cute, she thinks as she carefully maneuvers the truck around a downed tree. youre like if a dream girl was placed down in this wasteland to torture her, a giant sign to tell her of course owen went after you, you were perfect. more perfect than she could be.
ĘÉ it isnt helpful that shes left partnered with you as you clear out the abandoned store in the strip mall they've all been sent to check and re-clear the spaces if necessary. she finds herself frustrated when you very reasonably and very smartly stick to her side the whole time. she swears she almost trips over an overgrown branch when she catches a whiff of your soap and she doesnt know where the hell you managed to snag vanilla flavored anything.
ĘÉ everything is fine for a while. you both remain vigilant as you walk through the barely lit aisles of the department store, the only action when a clicker jumps up out of nowhere and nearly tackled you before sheâs roughly pushing you out of the way and kicking out its knees before bashing in its head with her boot. sheâs panting and catching her breath before roughly asking if you were alright and reminding you to stay vigilant, taking your wide eyed stare for shock at a close encounter to what would be a rather painful death.
ĘÉ but despite her rather abrasive attitude you try your best to be friendly with her. you reveal that owen did confide about their past relationship, and as awkward as the situation sometimes was you wouldnât let it drive a wedge between you, that you in fact wanted to be friends with abby. you had heard a great many things about her, how she was a loyal friend, a courageous leader, clearly an incredibly strong soldier-
ĘÉ her brain. short circuits a bit. the way you called her strong, like it was fact that was so obvious that sheâd already proven it to you just by being out here. sure sheâd pushed you of out the trajectory of that clicker but that was normal, anyone should and would do the same. she realizes you wouldnât get the chance to see any displays of strength like that back in the base save for the visits to the gym, and a foreign voice in her head laments what a shame that is.
ĘÉ she doesnât realize until a day later just how screwed she is.
ĘÉ whatever weirdâŚfeelings she has for you donât even get a chance to go away or settle, just fester and multiply with your constant presence. where abby is her friends are close by, and that now includes you. at small get togethers, shared gym workouts, breakfast lunch and dinner hangouts, youâre always there with a bright smile and a warm greeting for her. she thinks sheâs hiding whatever it is sheâs hiding pretty well until nora pulls her to the side and asks why she just keeps staring at you whenever youâre around, that she understand there might be some lingering feelings of jealousy and resentment towards owen but thatâs no reason to treat you rudely.
ĘÉ abby stumbles over her words, insisting that sheâs not treating you rudely, thatâs the last thing she would want to do. who would ever do that to someone as nice and sweet and gorgeous as you? she ends her mini explanation with a stiff chuckle and looks at nora whoâs now staring at her with an open mouth and a flabbergasted look on her face.
ĘÉ so itâs clear that abby likes you. she doesnât know how to grapple with the fact, and decides its best to just deal with it privately and wait for it to just pass as most things do. the only person who knows is nora, who after not talking to her for a few hours after their last encounter came back to abbyâs room to apologize for walking out on her in a moment where they so clearly needed to talk more about what was just revealed. she assures abby that sheâll help her through this but itâs very confusing to herself as well. itâs not every day you have to deal with your best friend falling in love with her boyfriends new girlfriend.
ĘÉ she doesnât agree with abbyâs method, frequently telling her that dealing with this in private will only have the opposite effect. and just like normally sheâs right, abbyâs increased attempt at distance from you only peaks your worry and drives you to constantly check in on her to make sure sheâs okay. one day you come by her room after one of your workouts, and the sight of you covered in a thin sheen of sweat in shorts and a tank asking her sweetly if sheâs feeling okay and if sheâd like to join you for lunch letâs her know for sure that she really canât do this for much longer.
ĘÉ so sheâs tries her best to try a different approach : exposure therapy. as bad as it sounds, sheâs sure once she starts spending more time with you sheâll realize you arenât some mythical girl of of her dreams and are just a normal person whoâs dating her ex and who she can totally just be normal friends with. she comes up to you in the halls a few days later and asks if youâd like her to help you train for more field work and you beam up at her before wrapping your arms around her neck and thanking her a multitude of times before composing yourself. you go one about how you were so eager to prove yourself and youâd do no better than to have the abby anderson teaching you the basics. she zoned out as soon as she felt your skin against the back of her neck, nodding along to all of your words with a doe-eyed blank look.
ĘÉ itâs really nice bonding with you over the course of a few short weeks. you quickly pick up on the things she teaches you, and whatever you donât sheâs more than eager to help you learn. she hates to admit it but her conscious cheered a little bit when you told her you needed help aiming one of the bigger rifles, and it nearly screamed when she got to place herself behind you and helped you aim at the target practice. maybe sheâs a bit delusional at this point but she swears she felt your body relax into hers, felt your breath stutter just a bit when her chest met your back.
ĘÉ and she knows itâs serious when she trusts you enough to share her space in the library. itâs a night when manny has a girl over so sheâs in her usual cozy spot surrounded by the book shelves when she shears your gentle footsteps and call of her name, remarking that you initially went to the room out of loneliness about owen being gone for the night but came here when a breathless and shirtless manny told you her usual sleepover spot. she invites you to settle in with her in her heap of old blankets surrounded by dusty novels, trying her best to remain calm when you lean your head on her shoulders and insisted she keep reading her current book aloud.
ĘÉ she wakes up to the early morning light with her head rested on top of yours, snuggled up to battle the chill of the stadium air and your hand clamped around her arm. when she looks down at your face and wishes she could see you like this every day she realizes that she is really, really screwed.
ĘÉ luckily she doesnât have to wait long to see you like that again. well, the circumstances are rather horrid. yet another soldier was having small secret party ok one of the larger stadium dorms and you were glued to abbyâs side. everyone besides nora was confused but happy that the two of you seemed to be getting along so well, and nora herself kept giving abby looks that were a mixture between pity, worry, and just a bit of âyou need to just get this off of your chest to anyone else but meâ annoyance.
ĘÉ abby was your designated drink manager, constantly making sure you werenât too drunk and were drinking enough water to stave off any of the negative effects of the smuggled in alcohol they brought in for the party. youâre both sitting on one of the couches and observing the party when you make an off handed comment about not seeing owen for a while and abby decides to sit you down snuggly on the couch while she goes to look for him to appease your tipsy haze. her search leads her down the hallway, and itâs only when she hears an object drop in a nearby maintenance closet does she find out the truth.
ĘÉ she whips open the door to see owen and mel in a ratherâŚwell, letâs just say a really lewd position. in the midst of being disgusted and infuriated she finds a bit of amusement at mousy mel of all people doing a drunken hookup in a dingy closet. owen hurriedly tries to fix himself and his pants, insisting to abby that itâs not what it looks like, and suddenly his eyes lock on an object behind her and she turns around to see you, teary eyed and clearly betrayed before you silently stoop off to the direction of your own room.
ĘÉ abby is normally a calm person. as a soldier she isnât afforded the luxury to let her emotions get the better of her in moments of stress. but seeing you with tears in your eyes and a wobbly lip makes her wish she broke owenâs nose on the spot. collecting all of her composure, she slaws the closet door in his face and quickly runs after you.
ĘÉ she quickly chases after you, making her way down the stadium halls until she finds your bedroom door agape, quickly knocking and entering when she hears your quiet cry demanding owen leave. she makes sure to announce who she is once she settles in beside you on your bed, gently extending her hands to make sure shes allowed to physically comfort you before pulling you into a tight hug once you let her know itâs okay.
ĘÉ she had again struggles to keep her composure when you cry into her shoulder, not minding the tears staining her t-shirt when she hears you weep about what a fool you wer, how you were such an idiot to believe that someone like him could truly care about you.
ĘÉ in the morning, she can blame the weeks of pent up feelings, or maybe the cup of beer she had an hour before, but she canât stop herself from grabbing your shoulders and turning you towards her, commanding your attention before she reveals that shouldâve warned you about owen earlier, that she shouldâve known he would take advantage of someone with as sweet a nature as you. Sheâs always known he was a fool, but to ruin his chances of someone like you is the dumbest thing he ever couldâve done.
ĘÉ when you sniffle and look up at her with those shiny eyes and puffy lips and ask her if thatâs true she feels her composed facade slipping, hands shaky as she reaches up to wipe your tears away before letting her palm letting her fingers trail down your face, biting her lip when she sees your eyelids flutter closer when her hands start to ghost down your neck.
ĘÉ she doesnât feel sorry when she watches you take off your top, doesnât feel guilt when she pushes you down to the bed and lets her lips bite and kiss from your neck to her chest and draw out all manners of whines and gasps from your throat. and when she feels your hips lift up and grind into her crotch, when her hands attach themselves to your hips and forces you to bring yourself to an orgasm in your pants, she doesnât give a shit how itâll seem when she parades you around the stadium tomorrow.
ĘÉ manny and nora are open mouthed and shocked when you walk hand in hand into the cafeteria the next morning, both starry eyed and covered in love bites as you sit together nearly attached at the hip. when owen walks in a few minutes later and quickly storms out after seeing the two of you, abby canât help but shrug when manny asked her what the hell is going on.
ĘÉ âowen had his chance, and he should learn that jealously is a monster.â
ELLIE ę¨
ĘÉ in moments like these ellie remembers laughing at how her fellow lesbians would fall for their straight friends in middle and high school and end up with broken hearts and broken friendships. and now as she sits across from you and listens to you lament about your boyfriend, she realizes that karma is real and she is totally a bitch.
ĘÉ truly, she has no one to blame, but herself the moment she saw you walk into the record store she worked at she knew that this would only lead to trouble for herself. It was obvious to Dina, who lightly pushed his shoulder and told her to stop drooling and to focus on her work and not fall into another relationship so soon after her catastrophic breakup with cat. she had rolled her eyes at the brunette and assured her nothing would happen, that sheâd politely introduce herself, help you buy a product, and never think about or see you again.
ĘÉ god, what an idiot she was.
ĘÉ as soon as she introduced herself, you complemented her tattoo, mention that you had wanted one but were too indecisive about a design and placement. before she can even think of what she wants to say sheâs telling you that wouldnât mind hooking you up with her tattoo artist who could help you decide what you wanted. hell, she wouldnât mind helping you decide what kind of vibe you were going for when it came to the body art and where exactly on your body would be best to showcase it.
ĘÉ youâre beaming up at her and thanking her, telling her that she really is just too kind. sheâs even kinder when she continues to talk to you as she helps you look through the store, helping you decide which record would be best for your collection.
ĘÉ and helping you pick out another record as a gift. for your boyfriend. she can hear dina snicker at the counter all the way from three aisles away, passing it off as allergies when you turn to look at her.
ĘÉ but itâs not like sheâs gonna fall for you. she gives you her number, but thatâs because she already promised sheâd help you with the tattoo stuff. and sure she talks with you for hours the following week and even goes with you to the parlor for moral support, but thatâs because sheâs a good person! and you even told her sheâs a great friend for helping you with this! sheâs just being friendly.
ĘÉ soon enough she basically becomes your new best friend. she doesnât know how it happened really, somewhere between helping you when your car broke down in the middle of the road and having dinner with your parents when they demand to meet the person whoâs been taking up an extra chunk of their daughters time. itâs frightening how easy it is to just be with you, to talk to you about any and everything. she remembers it took dina pestering her at work for weeks for them to become friends, and here she is laughing with your dad over roasted chicken after a month.
ĘÉ dina and jesse call her delusional. when the former shows the latter a picture of you on the instagram account you have to ellie he folds over in laughter and tells ellie oh so eloquently that sheâs definitely going to fall for you, itâs only inevitable. but she remains vigilant that she wouldnât do something so dumb. i mean yeah youâre basically exactly her type, like a deity went into one of her wet dreams and plucked the woman she manifested and placed you in the real world, but she was strong. there were plenty of fish in the sea. plenty of gay fish, to be exact.
ĘÉ she tries to go on dates, scrolls through tinder and likes every other attractive viable woman she sees. she even manages to have a few hookups. its really just a coincidence that they have some of your similar characteristics, truly. sheâs not actually looking for you in any of these girls, thatâd just be weird.
ĘÉ but then it happens. she has a girl over, her leg thrown over her shoulder as she grinds herself into the pretty girlâs cunt. sheâs lost in a high after the blunt theyâd shared earlier and her heads thrown back as sheâs letting out expletive after expletive, and then she does it. she moans your name. she pauses, the girl pauses, and its silent as they remove their entangled limbs from each other and rigidly lay in bed side by side. it hurts even worse than the embarrassment when the girl pats her shoulder with a smile after sheâs put her clothes back on, wishing her luck with whateverâs goin on between the two of you.
ĘÉ thereâs no point in denying it then. she doesn't even get the chance to keep it to herself, the next day when sheâs watching a movie on your couch you poke and prod at her until she reveals whatâs got her in such a sour mood. she doesn't tell you the full story, of course, just that something absolutely mortifying happened last night when she was riding some girl. she groans that she didn't even get to finish and that was way worse then what she said, hoping the joke will ease some of the embarrassment she has telling the story and the guilt about passively lying to you.
ĘÉ she doesn't notice how you hips shift in your seat, how your teeth bite at the skin of your lip. she does notice when you question what she meant by riding a girl. she cant help but think about how adorable you are before explaining the position in the nicest way possible. you hum and turn your attention back to the movie and she thinks that's the end of the conversation. but only seconds later youâre asking her to show you.
ĘÉ she thinks she's dreaming. no, she knows she's dreaming. its happened before, weird dreams she has after a strong high where she swears her dreams become all the more vivid and lifelike. it was super annoying the second time it happened, she woke up to a world where she in fact did not win the lottery and get to make out with her celebrity crush. but this is just cruel, she didn't know her brain could be so masochistic. but no, the feel of your hand shaking her shoulder and shyly asking if youâve made her uncomfortable is real, your big eyes flitting to anywhere but hers is real.
ĘÉ she stutters over her words, asking if you really mean it. and you say yeah, youâd been curious about this anyway. it wouldn't hurt to do it with ellie, you were friends, right? and god what an idiot she was because sheâs nodding along like of course, this couldnât make your friendship weird at all, right? so she gets to work, not doing anything too lewd except for gently pushing you to lie on your back as she maneuvers her body over yours, placing her crotch over yours until she can feel the heat of you through her jeans. she tries not to show a reaction to the sight of you looking up at her, curious and flushed as your hand briefly comes up to rest on her hip. its only when your hips delicately press up into hers that she abruptly removes herself from on top of you, stiffly chuckling before recommending you get back to the movie.
ĘÉ neither of you bring it up again.
ĘÉ itâs so much more difficult to be around you now. before she was resolute in the fact that she was alone in whatever weird feelings she had towards you, but eventually she might move on. but with only a few actions you threw that whole viewpoint out the window. now it was clear that you were interested. maybe not in ellie but in sex with another woman. a small part of her is upset at the fact it might not be her. its only cliche that if you started having these feelings youâd fall for your gay best friend, who the hell else were you thinking about? whatever, that wasn't important.
ĘÉ what was important was what occurred over the next few weeks. it happens slowly but surely, your complaints about your intimate troubles with your boyfriend. now ellie had met the guy before, and it made her feel slightly better that she had a valid reason right from the start not to like him. the man was clearly an ass, looking her up and down the first time they met and giving her a âyeah youâre weirdâ look that he apparently didnât think sheâd recognize. luckily she didnât have to see him often, only seeing him in passing when she spent time with you at yours or picked you up to go hang out.
ĘÉ but now his weirdness is apparently front and center. she nearly chokes on her chipotle when you tell her that he questioned why the two of you were spending so much time together, feeling like ellie was going to make a move on you.
ĘÉ and yeah, it was offensive. just because she was a lesbian didnât mean she wanted to jump the bones of every woman she met. unfortunately that didnât apply here because she very much did want to jump your bones. not like he knew that. hopefully.
ĘÉ but she doesnât want to get in the way of your relationship, begrudgingly recommending that maybe the two of you should spend some time apart so he can chill out and realize heâs being paranoid. sheâs very happy to hear your quick rebuttal, remarking how youâd rather dump him then spend any more time away from her.
ĘÉ god you are making this so confusing. and it only reaches a head the next time she sees you. youâd texted her to ask if she could come over late at night and obviously she said she would, along with a bag of your favorite drinks and snacks just in case you got peckish. so sheâs sitting on the couch as you both eat some shareable m&ms when the topic becomes a bit moreâŚintimate.
ĘÉ she notices your rigid shoulders as you sit stark straight on the couch and laughs about how pent up you must be. your following laugh is awkward as you agree that you have been a bit stressed lately. so she tells a joke, that your boyfriend isnât up to par in bed. she expects you to laugh and hit her shoulder but you nod your head.
ĘÉ youâŚnod your head. and then you turn to her, and sheâs getting flashbacks to the last time you were this close on your couch. her face is hot as whisper that the past few times youâve tried to sleep with your boyfriend he, as you eloquently put it, âjust pumps and dumpsâ, and brushes you off whenever you bring up the fact that you havenât had a release. that as much as it ashamed you to say it, once he falls asleep next to you you sometimes find your hand trailing under your shorts and thinking back to her stories of the hookups she told you about, wishing she could show you how all of that felt.
ĘÉ ellie has always liked your bedroom. its soft and sweet, with vines of fake ivy hanging across the ceiling and a large canopy hanging over the bed. you even have an adorable collection of stuffed animals, a few of them gifted to you by her throughout the months of your friendship. all of the little guys have been shoved to the floor now, and for a fleeting moment she things theyâre really just going to have to understand before her mind is consumed again with you, how youâre pretty flushed face is staring and moaning up at her as her wrist nearly cramps with how fast her fingers are pistoning into your wet cunt.
ĘÉ you havenât even touched her and sheâs already on cloud nine. your confession nearly made her pass out, and she swore she had died and gone to heaven when you asked her to help you with your problem and grabbed her hand to lead her to your bed. it was like her horniest dream come true to see you undress, to feel over your skin, to lower her head to your pussy and try her best to suck out your soul in the most loving way possible.
ĘÉ she feels her boxers get soaked when you cum around her fingers again, legs wrapping around her waist and head raising to muffle your sounds in her shoulder. she swore she nearly came when you bit into her shoulders, already knowing she was going to look into the mirror later to look at the mark your teeth left on her with a smile. but she didnât predict for you to be so insatiable, for as soon as she pulls her fingers out of your cunt youâre whining and grinding your hips up into hers, whispering little *âplease, el, need moreâ*s
ĘÉ âdonât worry, baby, iâll give you whatever you want. swear once iâm done youâre never even gonna think of that stupid boyfriend of yours again.â

"I'm not okay," you admitted, your voice trembling as you sat on the floor, clutching the mug of hot chocolate. Its warmth seeped into your hands, a small comfort against the coldness inside you. "Iâve been hiding for so long that Iâve forgotten who I used to be."
Bucky leaned against the wall, his arms crossed but his eyes soft. He didnât push you, just let the silence sit between you until you were ready.
"I want to leave everything behind," you continued, your gaze fixed on the swirling steam rising from your mug. "Before everything fell apartâbefore my brother drowned in debt and left me to clean up his messâI was someone else. Someone happier."
Bucky tilted his head slightly, his brow furrowing as he watched the pain etched into your features.
"I miss my friends," you admitted, your voice breaking. Running away had meant cutting ties with everyone who mattered.
Bucky didnât say a word. Instead, he walked over and crouched down beside you. His presence was steady, and grounding.
Later, when you excused yourself to rest, Bucky stayed behind. You didnât know then, but he had already decided to do something about your brother.
****
The next morning, you woke to find Bucky gone. A note rested on the coffee table, the words scrawled in his handwriting:
Be right back.
Your chest tightened as you read it, a mixture of hope and uncertainty swirling in your stomach. You went about your day, returning to work at the cafĂŠ.
"Where have you been?" one of your coworkers asked, concern flickering across their face.
You offered a vague smile, brushing it off with a simple, "Iâm fine. Just needed some time."
As the day wound down and you closed up the cafĂŠ, you stepped outside and froze. There he wasâBuckyâwaiting for you.
"I want to show you something," he said, his voice calm but firm.
Back at his place, the air felt charged. Your heart raced as you stepped inside and saw a third person sitting in the middle of the room.
Your missing brother. Teddy.
He was tied to a chair, his eyes wide with fear. A muffled scream escaped his gagged mouth as he squirmed against the ropes.
"How did you find him?" you whispered, your voice trembling as you looked at Bucky.
He leaned casually against the wall, but there was steel in his voice when he replied, "He used a fake ID, changed his looks, and has been working as a fisherman."
Teddy thrashed again, but Buckyâs presence was unyielding.
Bucky walked over, his movements deliberate, and pulled the gag from Teddy's mouth.
âShe paid the price instead of you,â he said coldly, his gaze piercing Teddyâs. âSheâs suffered for three years because of your cowardice. Now, youâre going to pay back six times what you owe.â
âThatâs more than I owe!â Teddy shouted, his voice shaky but defiant.
Bucky leaned closer, his jaw tightening. âThatâs the price for what youâve put her through. She ran, she hid, and she nearly lost everything because of you.â
Your breath caught in your throat. The words youâd longed to hearâsomeone finally defending youâstunned you. Who would have thought that the stranger from the train could be the one to make you feel seen? In your darkest moment, you found the light in your problem. God knows.
Teddyâs bravado crumbled. His eyes darted nervously between you and Bucky. âIâll pay,â he stammered. âIâll pay back everything I owe her.â
Your knees nearly buckled from the shock. After years of struggling, hearing Teddyâs reluctant promise felt surreal. You glanced at Bucky, gratitude welling up in your chest.
"Thank you," you whispered, your voice thick with emotion.
****
The next few days passed in a blur. You resigned and packed your belongings, ready to return to your hometown. It was time to reclaim the life you had left behind.
On the day of your departure, you stood on the platform at the train station, your heart heavy with bittersweet emotions. When you turned, there he wasâBucky.
As you stepped onto the train, you paused in the doorway and looked back at him. "Letâs meet again," you said, your voice steady despite the lump in your throat. A small smile played on your lips. "Next time, can you ask me for a date?"
Before he could respond, you leaned in and kissed him. His eyes widened, his body rigid in surprise, but his lips softened under yours.
The train door closed before either of you could say another word, but through the window, you could still see him.
His smile was enough to warm your heart, a silent promise in the way his lips curved and his eyes held yours.
He nodded, his answer clear even without words.
He will ask you next time.
And next time, both of you will step onto the train together, sitting side by side, whether to travel to new places or to return home. The journey wouldnât matter because, for the first time in a long time, you wouldnât be alone.
As the train began to move, you kept your eyes on him, and he did the same, his figure shrinking in the distance but never leaving your thoughts. You smiled to yourself, the beginning of something beautiful stirring in your chest.

christmas surprise - p. gavi
pairing: pablo gavi x female!reader | fluff | established relationship | wc: 1.3k | warnings: none | a/n: hey, merry belated christmas! this scenario wasn't planned, but gavi did the miracle of posting a story and i got triggered to write it. hope you like it! - ella
you told gavi that you wouldn't be able to spend christmas with him or his family. things were tight at work and you hadn't been able to get a last-minute flight â that's all you told him, who believed you, letting his withered expression show on the video call, but he understood your reasons.
he promised you that he would call you on christmas night, because you would be alone in your cold apartment, even if he wanted to take the first flight from spain to germany, but you wouldn't let him. you liked the connection he had with his family and preferred him to spend the holiday with them.
however, you secretly planned a surprise.
you managed to get a last-minute flight and despite the rush to make it on time, everything worked out. he still didn't know that you were about to knock on his door, distracting him with replies to his texts, as if you were still in your cold apartment in germanyâ but you were standing in front of his house.
nervous, you pay the taxi driver and look at yourself, checking your simple, pretty dress, all red, thin straps. your makeup was simple and you were holding a wheelie suitcase, ready to spend the rest of the year there too, since you've managed to plan properly for it.
you check the clock on your phone screen, noting that it's a few hours before christmas. but they're already all gathered inside, like the family they were, and you take a deep breath and start walking, dragging your suitcase along. you hadn't seen him for almost five months, always exchanging messages or making video calls, because you needed to stay in germany for another year to finish your master's degree in psychology.
even though it was difficult, you managed to make the relationship work. every now and then, gavi also managed to get over to germany to see you and spend a quality weekend, but those five months were the longest without seeing each other. you werenât even able to go watch him play the match in which he made a comeback from his injury.
but you watched it all on tv. then you called him and spent hours together on the phone, despite the time zone, until you went to sleep. you thought you wouldn't be able to keep it up for that long, but you liked the way things were working out, both of you working equally hard to make it happen. you just had to wait another year. another year and you'd be back in spain, putting an end to all the distance.
you raise your hand and finally knock on the door. it doesn't take long for them to answer and the person who opens the door is aurora, your dear sister-in-law, gavi's sister, who gives you a huge, instant smile when she sees you standing outside. surprise shows on her face, but it soon gives way to genuine happiness, because aurora has always shown how much she loves you.
âoh my god, but i thought...?â she tries to say, hugging you.
you laugh softly and ask her to keep it down.
âi know, i know,â you say quickly, trying to explain yourself. âbut i wanted to surprise him, okay?â
aurora crushes you in her embrace, but releases you soon after, agreeing with a silent nod. she makes room and points with her head in the direction gavi is, so that you can go and make your surprise without anyone ruining it.
you leave your suitcase by the door and walk silently to the other side of the room. from the side, you can see him sitting in a cozy armchair, with mateo, his younger cousin, sitting on his lap. gavi is looking at the boy, while another cousin of his snaps a picture and you ask him not to say anything.
you walk silently closer, slowly, not wanting to give away your presence too quickly and when you get close enough, you sit on the arm of the armchair as soon as he moves his hand away and smiles quickly for the camera, but he notices the sudden movement and raises his eyes towards you.
at first, his expression is closed, but when he sees that it's you standing next to him, his expression softens, there's surprise in his eyes and his lips lift in an instant smile, just like aurora's.
ây/n?â he calls out, confused, as if he's afraid he's hallucinating your presence.
you smile. he slides mateo slowly out of his lap and stands up, not caring about anything else except pressing his lips to yours in a kiss you haven't experienced for five months. and five months is considered a long time.
you pull away, only to hold his face, your fingers touching the smooth skin. the smile he gives you is so bright that you can almost feel your heart bursting with love. he touches your cheek and kisses the corner of your mouth, hugging you properly. the people around just let you have this moment.
âi've missed you so much,â you whisper just for him to hear and feel him squeeze you around the waist. your eyes tear up with emotion.
âno more than me,â he says.
as he steps back, he smiles even more at you, that sparkle in his irises outshining any glittering christmas decorations around you. the atmosphere is pleasant, cozy and you notice how he's dressed, so casual, so beautiful.
âi should have worn that horrible christmas sweater of yours,â you say, jokingly, making him laugh.
he stares you down.
âi like this dress better,â he says. âi think it'll make my job easier laterâŚâ
âgavi!â
you understand the implicit suggestion and laugh, shaking your head, while he shows the innocent expression of someone who hasn't said anything too much. his hand finds yours, entwining your fingers as if he never wants to let go.
âyou really came...â he murmurs, still trying to process your presence.
you nod, a smile playing on your lips.
âof course i came. couldn't let you spend christmas without me, could i?â
before you can say anything else, you're pulled out of the reunion bubble when aurora lets out an excited exclamation, attracting your attention. all the rest of the family were gathered around, waiting for their turn to hug you.
âa better surprise than this, impossible!â someone says in the middle of the small crowd, and you smile, feeling the warmth of the welcoming.
aurora approaches you again, hugging you. his mother is right behind, with a huge smile on her face.
âdarling, i'm so glad you could make it!â mrs. gavira says, warmly.
you return her hug, but gavi doesn't let go of you for an instant. he remains by your side the whole time, observing your interaction with the rest of his family in silence, but with an expression of radiant happiness.
when everyone has finished talking to you, gavi finally takes you by the waist, leaving everyone alone again before christmas dinner is served.
âcome here,â he calls, pulling you to sit on his lap, as soon as he sits back in the armchair. with his other free hand, he gently strokes your exposed thigh. âhow long can you stay?â
you rest your hand on the back of his neck, brushing the skin with your thumb.
âuntil the first week of january,â you reply. âi thought we could make up for five months away from each other.â
his expression becomes radiant again.
âi'm having so many ideasâŚâ
you start to laugh and hide your face in his neck, placing a tender kiss there. it still seems unbelievable that you actually managed to get there and that you were finally together, the longing crushing your chest like never before. you want to stay there forever.
âmerry christmas, gavi.â
you realize that being there, surrounded by him and his family, is exactly where you always wanted to be.

Lanolin to wished that Blaze could have caught this person. However she pondered how a fight between them would have went. If they could phase through Blaze's fire how did you even fight that? She single handed took out Amy and it didn't even look like she put up a fight. That sort of power wasn't to be underestimated, and she very much believed Blaze was as strong as they came. But the Sheep had this feeling in the pit of her stomach that it wouldn't be so simple to beat someone like that.
" Blaze you did everything you could have... not one of us was prepared for someone like that to attack us. I'm curious who she is working for... but that's a question for another day..."
Miles eyes shifted to Belle and he seemed to tense up, the issue was that once she presented herself as a free bot. There was no backtracking and they couldn't just say she was his property at that point. Once belle chose her story they had to stick to it and all the risks that came with it. If he was brutally honest with himself it was safer to leave Belle as property of Prower Inc and allow her to continue working with autonomy. But it was her life, and she would have to make that choice on her own.
" Well only problem Belle is once you tell your story. No mater what that choice is we have to abide by it. So either we go with the truth or, we lie and say you are prower industries bot. I'll be straight with you Belle... i'm worried telling the truth will make you a prime target for GUN to confiscate you... just like they did with Omega... But Kit is right either way we should sync up the video to make it appear more legitimist. But... this is your choice i'll let you decide how you want to do this... i just--- don't trust them..."
Lanolin set down her clipboard and gave The others a compassionate look. Really all of this hinged on Surge and she had to go talk to her. She left Blaze in charge as she made her way to the stairs. Once outside she took a moment to lean on the door way and nearly lost her lunch. The stress was getting to her and this all felt like it was gonna fall apart on her. She wasn't ready for it and worse? she had to ask Surge to do the unthinkable. This was the sort of thing you asked in person, and she wasn't going to do it over a radio.
the sheep grabbed a military car and drove the rest of the way across base. She pulled up to the edge of the facility where Surge was waiting for a reason to attack and to fight! A Battle that may never come to be.
" Surge? can... we talk? It's... important..."
"If only I had been a bit faster then I could've caught the intruder who attack Amy and destroyed the servers. Though that ability she had to phase through things wasn't something I hadn't expected, let alone when she did with with an entire helicopter. I considered giving chase, though thought I could be of better help here." Blaze supposed she didn't help, though not by much.
"I think a quick online search will reveal everything we need to know about him, at least for now." All Belle really wanted was his name, though knowing a bit about him wouldn't hurt. "As for the intruder, I saw what happened on the camera's so I have it saved into my memory banks. Playing the recording back and matching the timestamp with the time the servers were destroyed should clear us of doing it on purpose. I still wonder who it was."
"As for my story, I intend to tell the truth, and nothing else. I know it is bold and risky, though I won't lie. My father said the truth is often best when wanting to gain someone's trust. If he doesn't see me as a person, then I will simply say I identify with Mile's company. I'm sure you can add my in your system in a matter of minutes." Belle saw no reason to lie to the President.
"Then I suggest that when you're added to Miles corporate system he adjust the timestamp to an earlier date so they don't know you did it just today. Consider it a while lie." Kitsunami doubts they'd be happy for suddenly adding Belle to Miles corporate system, though if they think it happened far before this incident they'll be less eager to fight against it.
"Working on it, though I'm already getting complaints. Just give me a minute," Rowan said as he popped his head back into the room before going back out and continuing to make calls. It seemed they weren't too thrilled at his request, though it didn't sound like he got a no either. The lemur is just hoping they dislike G.U.N more than The Restoration.
"I have no intention of going anywhere until this matter is resolved. Hopefully the President is far more open to negotiations than that General. I swear, I was half tempted to give him a piece of my mind." Blaze understand some of his points, though he acted as if The Restoration hadn't done so much good for Mobius and helped so many people.

Broken pt 5
Master List
Characters: Jensen x Reader (wife)
Warnings: a little bit of angst, but mostly fluff.
A/N:Â Idea given to me by @cheekygirl2309. This one is a little different than what I usually write. This chapter has a little bit of sunshine for our couple.
Minors DNI 18+
Jensen grabbed me and pulled me close to him. âPregnant? Really?â Tears filled his eyes. âYes, Jens. Weâre going to have a baby.âÂ
He took me by the hand and led me to the couch. âSit here baby. Iâm gonna fix you something to eat.â I chuckled, âJensen, Iâm not hungry right now.â âWell you havenât eaten much, let me get you some fruit or something, please.â His green eyes flicked to mine, âPlease baby. Let me take care of you and our baby.âÂ
I nodded and my hand instinctively went to my belly. âOkay Jensen. How about some apples and water?âÂ
He smiled and went to the kitchen. A few minutes later he came back with a plate of apples and a bottle of water.Â
âThank you, Jensen.â He smiled and sat next to me.Â
âJensen, I think we should wait to tell everyone. Itâs still very early and I want to make sure everything is okay before we do.âÂ
âWhatever you want, baby.Â
Jensen and I had decided to head back home, well Toronto since we wanted to see the doctor right away.Â
He booked the plane tickets and we were heading home the next day. I was ready but really didnât want to leave our little cocoon we found ourselves in.Â
Being here with him, in the silence of the mountains made everything else seem to disappear. He however, needed to get back to work too.Â
The flight home was uneventful and Jensen let Eric know he was back. His filming schedule was set to resume in two days.
We were able to get set up with a local doctor who thankfully had an opening today. As we walked into the office Jensen was immediately recognized, but thankfully everyone was professional.Â
The nurse immediately took us back to prevent us from being bombarded by people. I was thankful. Dr Ellington was sweet. She was obviously a fan of Jensenâs and was a little star struck, but maintained her composure. She confirmed the pregnancy and she ordered an ultrasound. Checking the heartbeat and measurement she estimated I was about 5-6 weeks along.Â
We talked to her about my endometriosis and asked if it would have any effect on the pregnancy. She explained that with endometriosis I had a higher risk for pregnancy loss and complications that could lead to delivering via c-section.Â
I grabbed Jensenâs hand and squeezed. She saw the fear in my eyes, âItâs okay, sweetie. We will just keep you coming back every week and keep a close eye on you and the little nugget.â I nodded and let out the breath I was holding.Â
Jensen asked more questions as I took in everything she said. I was terrified and wanted to make sure I did everything right. We scheduled the next appointment, next Wednesday and we left.Â
âJens, what about work? You canât take off every week to go to the doctorâs office with me.â He grabbed my hand and held it tight, âYes I can, and yes I will. I told you, you and this baby are a priority. Iâll talk to Eric and we will work it out.âÂ
I nodded. Thankful for such an amazing husband. I could see he was really trying. I knew he was worried about what the doctor said, but I also knew he wouldnât burden me with the worry.Â
âJens, Iâm scared.â He glanced over at me and nodded, âI know baby. I am too, but we will do whatever it takes to keep both of you safe and healthy.âÂ
The next few months Jensen and I fell into a comfortable groove. He would go to do his shoots and on days I had an appointment he would go in late. Some days Iâd go with him, others I would go back to the apartment.Â
As my pregnancy progressed the doctor wanted me to rest as much as possible, so that meant on set I was confined to the trailer.Â
I was laying on the couch in Jensenâs trailer as he was on set. He had brought lunch and we snuggled on the couch until he had to go back. The baby was active today so he sat with his hand on my belly for most of his break.Â
I loved watching him sing and talk to the baby. He was made to be a father. I had a late afternoon appointment today so Jensen was working on getting his scenes done before we had to leave.Â
Laying on the couch I fell asleep. I dreamed of my father again.Â
âDaddy. Itâs been so long.â I ran and threw my arms around him. âHey peanut. Looks like youâre growing a bit.â He chuckled as he touched my belly. âYeah. The baby is growing and is healthy. They are just keeping an eye on us to make sure we stay that way.â My dad nodded, âYeah. Donât worry, sweetie. Heâs going to be just fine. I promise.â Before I could ask him what he meant I heard Jensenâs soft voice, âBaby, wake up. Itâs time to go to the doctor.âÂ
I stretched and looked at him. He had already showered and changed. I was a little disappointed. I loved seeing him in his Soldier Boy costume. âDid you have a good nap, baby?â Jensen asked as he helped me get up.Â
âYeah, I dreamed about daddy again. He called the baby a âheâ.âÂ
Jensen smiled, âWell, maybe it is a boy. That would be fine with me.â His green eyes sparkled.Â
Arriving at the doctorâs office it was a bit busier than I expected. Unfortunately that meant we had to wait in the waiting room for a bit. It always made me nervous, but most of the people there were respectful and left us alone.Â
My leg bounced nervously. Jensen smirked and placed his hand on my leg. He leaned over and kissed my cheek, âHey, itâs okay baby.â I looked at him and nodded.Â
A younger woman came in and sat near us. She kept looking up at Jensen and then over at me. She gasped softly, realizing who he was. We hadnât officially announced the pregnancy yet, so her seeing us made me even more nervous.Â
I looked over at her and pleaded with my eyes. Jensen saw the concern on my face. He decided to be his charming self. âExcuse me maâam?â He flashed that killer smile. She looked up and blushed, âYes?â he extended his hand, âIâm Jensen, and this is my wife Y/N.âÂ
She nodded, âYeah, I know who you are. Iâm a fan. Sorry for staring. I didnât know she was pregnant.â Jensen smiled and nodded, âYeah, we havenât announced it yet. Weâre just trying to make sure everything is okay with her and the baby before we do. She just recently lost her dad and weâve been grieving and working on keeping the baby safe. I would really appreciate it if you didnât say anything to anyone.âÂ
She looked at me and then back at Jensen, âOh I am so sorry to hear about your dad, but yes, totally. Your secret is safe with me. I promise. Iâm having a difficult pregnancy too, so I completely understand. I hope everything works out with the baby.â Jensen placed his hand on her shoulder, âIâm sorry youâre having a difficult pregnancy. That has to be scary, and thank you for keeping our secret. We really do appreciate it. Whatâs your name, darlinâ?â âOh Karly Johnson, and this little bean is going to be Samantha Jane.âÂ
âWell itâs nice to meet you Karly, and I hope Samantha continues to do well. Thanks again.â She nodded and he sat down.
A few minutes later we were being called back. After being checked, bloodwork done, and other tests done it was time to move to ultrasound.Â
Jensen helped me lay back on the table and the ultrasound tech got the machine ready.Â
âYou two ready to see your baby?â She asked as she grabbed the wand. We nodded. Jensen held my hand as we heard the heartbeat. Tears filled my eyes. It was so strong and steady.Â
âSo, do we want to know what weâre having?â I looked at Jensen and he looked at me, we both said yes at the same time.Â
She moved the wand around and then turned the screen more towards us, âSo it looks like itâs a boy.â I gasped softly and Jensen chuckled. âA boy?â I whispered. She nodded and showed us how she knew. It was clearly a boy.Â
She printed pictures for us, I got cleaned up and changed then we left.Â
I couldnât take my eyes off the pictures. Jensen couldnât stop smiling.Â
âJens weâre having a boy.â I beamed. âYeah baby we are.â He couldnât contain his smile.Â
A little while later we were back home and I kept looking at the pictures. Jensen stood with this body leaned against the doorframe watching me.Â
Sheâs so beautiful and now sheâs giving me a boy. I canât believe it. Iâm the luckiest man alive.Â
He pushed off the doorframe and sat beside me. âBaby?â I looked up at him, âHmm?â âAre you ready to go public? Once we tell our family itâs a boy.âÂ
I took a deep breath, âYeah. I guess we canât hide it forever. Especially after being recognized today.âÂ
He nodded. We called our families and they were over the moon with the news the baby was a boy.Â
Jensen wanted the announcement to be cute. So he grabbed a sign and wrote 1978 on it and had me take a picture, then he wrote Y/B/Y on it and took a picture, then wrote coming soon and the due date on it and took a picture with a pair of blue booties.Â
He put it in a collage and posted it on social media with the caption: âBaby Boy Ackles joining the family soon.âÂ
The comments, likes and shares were instant. The love was overwhelming. One comment really melted my heart, âAww thatâs perfect. She just lost her dad and now sheâs having a boy. I bet her dad sent him to her. đ Canât wait to meet baby boy.âÂ
Jensen smiled as he pulled me close. âI love you so much baby.â âI love you too, Jens.âÂ
He placed his hand on my belly, âI love you too. So much.â I smiled and he kissed me softly. âCome on darlinâ, letâs get you something to eat.â I smiled and nodded.Â

SONG FIC SUNGHO PLEASEâŚ
- your new anon âď¸ (ilysungho! but ill go by the emoji cuz itâs easier)
saw your post with all your upcoming works and ran SPRINTED to anon msg so fast
song fic!đ
now playing⌠sheâs a baby by zico
park sungho x reader [fluff, fem!reader - she/her pronouns used]
a/n - ahhhh hello my luv!!!!! iâm so sorry this took so long to get round to especially since i LOVE your blog, you ALWAYS deliverđ hope you enjoy! (also i simply decided to pretend the last lyric doesnt exist cause i wanted fluff)
15:36 - âcome on,â sungho smiled, shaking you awake in the back of the taxi, ây/n? weâre home. letâs get upstairs so you can sleep properly.â
you whined, stretching out your body and mumbling an apology to the driver before getting out after sungho. your boyfriend slung his own bag as well as yours over his shoulder before offering his hand to you. you yawned, wrapping your hand around his finger as if instinctual (though, it was at this point - sungho had been persuading you to hold his hand like this for so long and in your sleepy state, you forgot you didnât have to). he pursed his lips for a moment in order to not explode at your cuteness, glancing up at the sky, before heading inside the apartment building.
âcome on, sleepyhead,â he smiled, your body quickly following along behind him. once in the elevator, sungho sighed in satisfaction, pulling you into his body. you were so often the one planning, carrying out errands, and running around for friends and family; sungho had practically made it his mission when you first met to be the one person in your life who would give you a break. before he knew it, the change had already happened in front of his eyes.
entering the dorm building, you waved a sleepy greeting to the boys sat around, sungho paying them no mind as he beckoned you into his bedroom.
âcome on, little love,â he said, his voice smooth as he instructed you to undress quickly, grabbing the pyjamas heâd bought after he saw you looking at them in a shop the other day, âyou wanna wear these?â
âare they mine?!â you gasped, sungho nodding with a smile as he kissed your forehead.
âif you want them?â
âof course i do!â you giggled, quickly getting changed and getting under sunghoâs sheets, the man tidying up the clothes just taken off and the various bags collected from your date today.
he walked to the bedside, ready to chat for a while as you liked to do before sleeping; only to find you lightly snoring against the pillow.
sungho smiled, pulling the duvet up around your body before leaning down and pressing a kiss to your head, âsleep well, baby.â he walked out the room, closing the door with a light click.
âhyung! comeââ
âshh!â sungho exclaimed quickly, finger to his lips as he glared at woonhak stood outside his bedroom door, having just exited the bathroom. he grabbed his arm, dragging him to the living room where the other members were spread around, ây/n has just fallen asleep, okay?! leave her.â
woonhak suppressed a laugh, surrendering innocently, âsorry, hyung. didnât realise we had a sleeping baby in the house.â
sungho sighed, rolling his eyes as he joined the boys in their game of fifa, âshut up. sheâs special to me, okay? just let her sleep.â
extra? ->
16:56 - âoh?â riwoo laughed, watching you appear from sunghoâs bedroom, âsomeoneâs awake.â
you giggled, continuing to rub the sleep from your eyes as you waved. looking around the room, only riwoo, leehan and sungho remained, playing diligently. you caught sunghoâs eye and he smiled, almost proudly, as you laughed.
wordlessly, you left the doorway and sunk onto the floor beside him, his arms opening up to invite you into his warm body.
âsleep well?â
you nodded into his chest, arms linked around his waist as he chuckled, rubbing your arm as he pressed a kiss to your head, âgood. my baby.â

Ho, Ho, Holy Shit
ăťăťăťăť ââââ ŕ¨ŕ§ ââââăťăťăťăťăť
Pairs: Maddie x Fem!Reader
Summary: It was the night of Christmas Eve and you were just finishing dinner for the big feast tomorrow. All was going well until you heard footstepsânothing could have prepare you for the sight of your girlfriend.
Warning(s): thigh grinding, body worshipping, praise, strap-on use (r! receiving), cunnilingus (both receiving), fingering (r! receiving) swearing, ass slapping (light), brief pussy slaps, overstimulation (brief), crying(briefly mentioned), and squirting :3
A/N: shout-out to oomfâs for this idea <3 (this lowkey might be long..)
áŻáĄŁđŠ
Soft, soothing music flowed throughout your apartment as you hummed along the tunes while stirring the pot of bubbling food. The air was warm with aroma of food, crisped apples, and cinnamon. It was the night of Christmas Eve and you could practically feel the Christmas spirit from every angle.
The sky was painted with a orange hue with a glint of purple colliding, bringing out the light of the stars dazzling high up. You felt utterly content and belong. After a while, footsteps soon patted across the floor before you felt a pair of arms snake around your waist along with a kiss to your neck.
You could only giggle and lean further in your girlfriends touch, swaying along with her to the tunes that filled the apartment. Her hands roamed over your stomach while trialing more kisses up and down the delicate skin of your neck to your shoulder, âStill cookinâ, yeah?â
âMhmâŚalmost done..â You murmured softly, closing your eyes as you basked in the sweet, warm moment the two of you sharedârelishing her warm hands and lips caressing you.
âYou should relaxâŚyouâve been on your feet all day nearly..â She whispered softly, voice etched with longing and concern while her hands slipped from your stomach to your hips, pulling you flush against her.
You couldnât help but chuckle at her worry nature, loving how she was so sweet and loving to you. Finishing stirring the pot and setting the spoon down, you turned to face her with a warm smile etched on your lips; meeting her adoring eyes with a hint of concern.
âIâll be finished soon, love. Donât worry about me, yeah?â You assured her with a gentle tone, tilting her chin to pull her into a slow, loving kiss as your eyes fluttered shut; savoring the taste of cinnamon and cherry on her lips.
Her hands gripped tightly at your hips as her lips worked in tandem with yours, moaning and breathing heavily in the passionate kissâslowly pulling you close to her knee was slotted between your thighs, barely just grazing your cunt.
Your breath hitched in your throat at the small contact, feeling the fire brew up inside you before the smell of food snapped you back to reality; slowly pulling away from the kissâleaving the both of you breathless.
âDonât wanna burn the place down, yeah?â You joked with a breathless laugh, feeling your heart flutter as you saw her pupils dilate as she panted slightly.
âI suppose not,â She joked back with a small chuckle, eyes meeting yours before gazing down your body before leaning close to your ear, âdonât make me wait too long..â
That was all she said before placing a kiss to your cheek and heading back down the hallway to your shared bedroom, leaving you there with the ache in your panties. You quickly tried to brush the longing as you quickly returned to returning to the food.
A couple minutes have passed and you finally finished the food, setting it in the fridge before cleaning the kitchen as you started to get ready for the night. All was going well until you heard footsteps, but they stopped.
Curious and somewhat confused, you turned around to see what your girlfriend was up to before you were utterly speechless.
There she stood, in all her glory, with her body adorned in a ruby red lingerie set that had small white bows at the breast, waist, and thigh areaâthighs dressed with candy cane-like stockings. You couldnât help but gasp slightly at the sight as she moved closer to you with that same sweet-sickening smile.
Her hands roamed over your arms to your stomach slowly as she leaned into kiss you, which you quickly didâhungrily, in fact. Your hand caressed her cheek as your tongue fought with hers while her arms drifted to your hips, pulling you flush against till her thigh was slotted between your thighs.
Soft whimper and whines of you both were ate up in the hungry, feverish kiss; feeling arousal seep into your already dampened panties. You pulled away for a breather, gazing at her with a hungry gaze before diving in to attack her neckâsucking, nipping, and licking at the delicate skin.
Maddieâs hands gripped your thigh tightly as a low moan fell from her lips at your attack, slowly moving your hips to grind your clothes cunt against her bare thighâfeeling the wetness seep through the fabric.
âLook at youâŚso pretty like this. You like what I put on for you this much, love?â Her words were sweet like honey, feeling yourself melt gradually in her touch as moans and gasps escaped your mouth.
âYesâfuckâs-so muchâŚlook so pretty..â Was all you could whine as your eyes fluttered, lazily sucking and nipping at the skin of her neck before pulling away to pull her in a deep kiss; feeling her hands grasp your hips tightly as she grinded you more forcefully on her thigh.
She pulled back from the kiss to gaze in your eyes, seeing how they can barely focus on hers as your mouth hung open with heavy pants and whimpersâknowing you were already so close.
âSuch a pretty girl, you do so much for meâŚmy sweet girl..â she mumbled lowly with that sweet voice of here, leaning to pepper kisses along your cheek and down to your neck, âgonna come fâme?â
You grinded your hips down feverishly as the tingling sensation builded up quickly in your lower half, clenching around nothing as your clit bumped against her thigh with each buck of your hips. âY-yes! MaddieâpleaseâŚfuckfuckfuckfuck!â
A smirk tugged at her lips at your desperate whines, granting you your needed wishes as her hands controlled your hips to move fasterâfeeling your thighs tremble against hers. A broken whine fell from your mouth as the orgasm hit you, feeling your hips stuttered against her thigh as you gasped and whinedâclutching onto her arms.
Your eyes fluttered as you slowly came down from the high, looking at her with a dopey smile and blow eyes as you chuckled breathlessly, âfuckinâ love you..â
âI know, babyâŚbut youâre gonna love me even more.â
Here you were. On your back. Completely naked, tits and pussy to the world. Thighs spread with her between them, holding them down as her tongue trailed up and down your pussyâgaining soft whines and low moans from you.
Your hand gripped at her burnt orange hair tightly while the other fondle with your tit, gazing down at her with fluttering eyes as you watched her feast away at you. Those precious blue eyes gazed up at you between your thighs, seeing a small smile tugged at her lips before capturing your clit between her lipsâsuckling at the pearl as she moaned at the taste.
Your body trembled and shuddered as your thighs jerked, feeling a bit more sensitive due to previous events. âM-Maddieâbaby, pleaseâfuck-I-I canât..â You whined breathlessly, feeling your thighs tremble and shook; threatening to shut around her hand, but her hands kept them spread.
She suckled and slurped you like a starved woman, paying no mind to your desperate pleadsâshe knew her sweet girl could take more than sheâs letting on. Her head buried deeper between your legs as she focused all her attention on your clit, slipping two fingers in you as she pumped them with a unforgiving paceâthe sounds of squelching, slurping, and your mewls filling the room.
Your head fell back as your thighs clenched around her head, bucking your hips while tugging at her hair as keen moan and broken whine escapes your lips. âFuck! Maddieâgonna c-comeââ
Was all you could choke out before your body seized as the intense orgasm crashed over your body, tugging her closer to you as the spurts of release spewed from your spasming cunt, coating her lips, fingers, and your quivering thighs. Her lips curled into a small smirk at your disheveled state, lightly slapping your clit, eliciting whimpers from you.
Her hands gently roamed over your shaky thighs as she placed a kiss to your clit before leaning up, covered with your essence as she kissed her way up to your body before finally finding your lipsâtasting yourself on her lips.
Your trembling hands roamed over her body as your lips worked in tandem with hers, moaning and giggling breathlessly before you quickly flipped her overâleaving her on her back while you were straddling her.
Her hands settled on your hip as you leaned to pull her in a hungry, messy kiss. Your hands roamed over her body before sneaking down to her panties, slipping under the fabric and slowly rubbing at her clitâearning a soft moan from her in the kiss.
You pulled back to gaze at her flushed face, biting your lip at the sight before you started to attack her neck, slurping and sucking at the skin as you rubbed her with increased pressure, âshitâŚyou feel so good, baby. Pussy so wet fâme..â
Low moans and whines fell from her lips as her thighs parted wider for you, bucking her hips to match your pace as she felt the sensation build up quickly in her lower, âo-ohâŚpleaseâŚlove, donât stopâŚp-please..â
A smirk tugged at your lips hearing her sweet voice, how cute. With a few more strokes, you suddenly pulled away, leaving her grunting in frustration, âY/n.â
âIâm sorry, love..â You whispered softly with faux sympathy, giggling at her expression before trailing kisses down her body before settling between her thighs. Your fingers hooked under her panties, pulling them off swiftly along with majority of what she was wearingâleaving her naked to your hungry eyes.
You trailed kisses up and down her inner thighs before slowly kissing her pussy, licking her folds gently here and there before fully lapping at herâslurping and licking hungrily at her clit, moaning at the taste.
âMhm, youâre doin so well, love..â She moaned lowly as her eyes gazed down you through hooded kiss, rolling her hips to match your pace while her hand gripped your hair. Your hands grasped tightly at her thighs, holding her spread as you suckled and messily kissed her pussy before engulfing her clit with your lips, earning broken moans from her.
Her back arched off the bed as your noises and the sensation of your tongue drove her wild with desire. She grabbed a handful of your hair, holding you in place as she started to grind her hips against your face, âshit! r-right thereâplease!â (Such pretty noises from a pretty girl).
Her words became more incoherent as they were interrupted with keen whimpers and moans until the orgasm crashed over her; leaving her shaking and trembling as she lazily grinded down on your mouth.
Seeing her come apart made your clit throb at the sight Face flushed. eyes blown, tits jumping with each heavy breath she took. It was definitely a sight for sore eyes.
You kissed your way up to her body before placing a kiss to her lips, allowing her to taste herself on your tainted lips. âFeelinâ ok, love?â
âMhmâŚyou did so good for me, but I have a surprise for you, love..â
This should be fun.
And boy, was it.
You were face down, ass up with Maddie grasping your hips firmly as she slowly fucked you with her light blue strap. You were in absolute paradise. Your eyes rolled back as she reached each spot with her slow, but deep strokes, moaning shamelessly loud as you were also overstimulated.
Her eyes gazed down as she watched the toy slip in and out of your sopping cunt each thrust, moaning at the sightâswearing up and down she could feel you. âWow, youâre takinâ it so well for me, loveâŚsqueezingâ me so tightâŚholy shit..â
You were so far gone, you could barely even answer herâonly nodding weakly at her words as weak moans and wanton whines escaped your lips. Your hands gripped tightly at the sheets as she slowly picked up her pace, puncturing each of your mewls from your mouth.
âM-Maddieâfuckkkk! p-pleaseâŚt-too muchhhh!â Was all you could babble out as you reached back to slow her down a bit, only earning your arms to be pinned to your lower back as she continued fucking you with a quick pace.
One of her hands came down on your ass hard, eliciting a broken whine at the stinging sensation. Maddie was completely engorged at the way your ass jiggled with each thrust and slap, wanting to fuck you into the sheets more.
âShh, loveâŚitâs ok, iâve got you. My sweet girl can give me one more, hm? I know you can, pretty girl..â She whispered lowly into your ear before straightening up as she sped up her pace, one hand holding your wrist to your lower back and one on you hip for balance.
Your eyes rolled to the back of your head as her dick was practically kissing your cervix with each thrust, whining and sobbing into the pillows as you were completely gone.
âOh, I know, baby, I know.â She moaned lowly, biting her lips at the sight of your pussy sucking her in each thrust before her eyes glanced over at the clockâseeing that it read 12 a.m.
She giggled breathlessly before turning her attention back to you, leaning down while continuing her quick thrusts as you could only cry and whine âitâs too muchâ and âi canâtâ. Such nonsense. You could take more. Youâre her sweet girl.
âMerry Christmas, babe..â

ghost knows heâs too rough and impatient with sex. knows he wonât know how to please you properly. knows he canât possibly do things right with you, knowing youâve never done this before. but god, he wants to. he wants to treat you how you deserve. never thought heâd be so desperate to fuck someone good and slow like he does with you.
so he goes to price. the one man who will know all the right ways to please a lady properly. asks him to show him how to take care of you. tells him he doesn't know how to care for someone else's needs, at least with someone inexperienced like you. tells him he needs to be instructed. to see just how he should work you.
youâre nervous at first, thinking itâs an absolutely insane idea, but you canât hide the wetness along your panties as you sit on ghostâs lap, back pressed against his chest, legs spread, his knuckle dragging down your warmth. price sits back in his chair, telling ghost exactly how to move his fingers, paying close attention to your body's minuscule movements, the way your brows furrow when ghost moves a certain way, or your eyelashes fluttering.
and this was supposed to be a strictly hands-off approach⌠but god, watching ghost fumble, unable to maintain the slow speed you need, keeping you from reaching your orgasm, has price on edge. he leans forward, rolling his chair with him, and tells ghost to stop. tells him to watch and to pay close attention. price tears your panties off and your eyes go wide at the contact. you swallow, expecting ghost to be furious, but his hands only settle around you and he takes notes as he watches his captain work.
price runs his thumb up your slit, circling your nub, and tells ghost to hold your thighs apart when you unconsciously try to clench them. then his finger is sinking into you and your head falls back against ghost's chest, eyes shut. you moan and you feel ghost harden beneath you. âhowâs that feel, sweetheart?â price asks you. you babble out incoherently, price adding a second finger, and chuckling darkly at your response.
it becomes too much, his fingers thrusting in and out of you, his other hand rubbing your clit, ghost's fingers digging into the softness of your thighs as he forces them apart. âohmygod,â you slur, âmâgonnaââ price smirks, his eyes darkening as he watches you orgasm, your body clenching around his fingers shoved deep in your heat. "talk her through it," price tells ghost. so ghost does. you're shaking still and ghost rubs his hands over your exposed skin. "that's it, baby. you're doin' s'good," he praises.
"whata fuckin' sight," price mumbles to himself, his fingers leaving you empty. you steady your breathing, coming down from your high, completely limp in ghost's arms. price can see the way ghost's eyes have gone dark, his pupils swallowing his irises whole. knows ghost doesn't know how to be soft. sees the feral need to ram himself into you overtaking his features. "gonna take it slow with her, yeah?" price asks.
ghost breathes rapidly out, his hips begging to buck up against you. he knows he wouldn't be able to control himself if you let him fuck you. so he answers honestly. "not sure I'd be able to."
price tsks, sitting back in thought, his eyes roving over your spent body. you suddenly feel shy, wanting to close your legs, but ghost's arms tighten on you. "need me t'break her in?" price finally asks after several long beats of silence.
ghost grinds up against you, his hand sliding into your hair and pulling your head to the side so he can kiss your neck. your eyes flutter at his attempts to be so delicate with you. "want the captain here to be your first time, love?" ghost asks against your skin. you stutter when you answer. "don't you want to be?" "course I do. but I won't go easy on ya. I'd hate to ruin you, sweet girl. price will take it nice n' slow. just like you need." and after, you'll be ready to take ghost. ready to adjust to his size.
you swallow hard, ghost's hands escaping and clawing at your clothed chest. you nod. "o-okay."
price stands from his chair and begins to undo his belt. "come sit on my desk, sweetheart."

18+ Minors dni. Buckys innocent neighbor who bakes him cookies and muffins just cause. The girl next door who has the coziest apartment he's ever been in. Shelves filled with books along with plenty of comfy blankets decorating the couches. Bucky has his own place right across but home is with her (even if she doesn't know it yet).
She's the type of girl he's going to take his time with, asking her out on a date, just coffee and a walk in the park. Nothing more than a kiss on her cheek at the end of the night. Another date. Dinner. Another kiss to her other cheek. He wouldn't dare rush anything, especially not someone as soft and sweet as her.
He feels like such a dirty little pervert when he thinks about her afterwards when he's alone in bed, all the blood in his body rushing south, and fuck he's so hard. He tries to ignore it, he didn't want to do something so debauched by thinking of her like that, he even tries to think about his grocery list, laundry, he'd probably wash his arm later, it would probably be fine in the dishwasher-
Nothing worked.
He groans, shuffling and kicking his sweats off, hissing when his hand goes down to tug at his aching cock, relief flooding his veins at the sensation. He lets his mind wander to how adorable she'd be, the way he'd take her apart in the most gentle way. Lay her against the pillows while he holds those soft thighs apart, giving her the most feather light suckles on that perfect clit, basking in all the sounds she'd make. He strokes himself faster thinking about the way he'd get her ready to take all of him. How he'd make it so good for her-shit he was going to blow-maybe if he was lucky, one day she'd let him put his cock in her mou-
"Fuck!!" Bucky threw his head back, spurts of cum shooting from his sensitive head, his post orgasm haze leaving him feeling like a filthy old man. She were here making him baked treats and he was jerking his dick off like a sick fuck.
Then the night finally comes. Bucky is ready to cuddle and nothing else but he's thrown off because never in his wildest fantasies did he expect this.
She is the girl who sends him reeling the first time he takes her clothes off one by one revealing dark ink on her back and hips. He has to suppress a growl, his eyes growing wide at the scantily clad lace that covers her body.
"Like what you see, Sergeant?" she practically purrs in his ear while he lets his han ghost over her bare skin, his chest heaving when his eyes fall to her perfect breasts, hints of silver peeking from under her lingerie, there was no way-
"Can I?" He asks breathlessly, his hand reaching behind to unclasp the bra, those pretty pierced nipples begging to be sucked.
Bucky who turns into a fucking menace, his entire world flipping upside down when she grinds down on his crotch not hiding exactly what she needs from him. He doesn't even have the ability to hide how feral he is, letting all his inhibitions slip.
-
"My little bunny's a slut, fuck, c'mere" He grabs you and tosses you over his shoulder, hauling you over to his bedroom like an untamed beast, tossing you onto his bed with no remorse. You're in nothing but your panties which he rips right off, your thighs squeezing together at the way he stalks over to you, his hungry eyes raking up and down your body without an ounce of shame. He tugs his sweats down to reveal his leaky cock, stroking it at the edge of his bed after tossing his shirt off.
"See this baby? Been fuckin' stroking and touching myself like a fuckin' teenager because of you-" He throws off his pants before climbing onto the bed and kneeling between your thighs, spreading them apart with his knees, "-and you've been here lookin' like God damn sin under those cute little sweaters"
He flicks his cockhead against your clit, humming at the clear beads of his arousal that drip onto your cunt.
"Fuck James, need more, pl-"
"Nuh uh, what was that you called me earlier, sweets?" He lets out a dark chuckle, the veins in his cock throbbing as he tightly holds the base, waiting to hear it again.
"Sergeant" you whine with mischief in your eyes and Bucky is a goner. He'll taste you later and most definitely feed you his cock another day but right now he wants to be nowhere else other than your pussy. He wants to watch you take every bit of him, rolling over to lay on his back while you straddle him, his length slotted against your cunt. He holds it up for you with a cocky look on his face, moaning when his tip breeches your tight pussy, your walls gripping his swollen, pink head.
"That's just the tip baby, c'mon, sit on it, wanna put all of my dick in you, that's it, good girl-shittt"
"Oh fuccckk,s'big" You moan feeling the stretch as you sink all the way down, panting and staying still while you adjust to his size.
"That's it bunny, that's it, ride me, ride your Sergeant" He grabs you by the hips, guiding you to grind down on him, making you feel his entire cock in your stomach. "You're a slut for big dick aren't you baby, acting all cute and shy when all you really wanted was the winter soldier's cock"
Bucky wasn't even sure where all the filth spewing from his mouth was even coming from but he couldn't stop.
"S'that it bunny? Say it baby, tell me how much you wanted my fat cock in you"
"Wanted it! F-cuk Sergeant, wanted your cock s-o-so bad!!"
"Fuck yes!!" His feet plant to meet your bounces, his hips thrusting up, slamming his entire length into you. "M'close, fuck bunny, gonna cum already, I can't hold it-
He doesn't have time to be embarrassed. You feel to good. He rubs your clit needing you to cum all over him so he can let go.
"Please, cum all over Sergeants cock baby, give it to me, be a good girl n'cum, c'mon, cum on my dick, yes, oh fuck yes I can feel it-milk it, shit touch my balls-"
You nearly collapse as your orgasm starts to wash over you, his sponge head hitting the most sensitive parts against your walls while he toys with your clit. His voice is muffled as you start to feel waves of pleasure consume you but you head just enough to reach behind, rubbing his heavy, so full of cum ba-
"FUUUCCCCKKK" He grabs you and wraps his arms around your body while he relentlessly thrusts up, biting down on your shoulder while he lets out the sluttiest, loudest moan with 0 remorse. It feels too good and he's sure the neighbors can hear but honestly, everyone should know how amazing it feels.

"I got you pretty baby" Bucky coos as you nuzzle into the crook of his neck, a shiver running through you while you float in bliss. Bucky pulls the covers up, deciding to cuddle up with you for a bit before running a shower, his previous demeanor replaced with the far less debauched version of him.
Anyway, just an idea. Also, it's past my bedtime.

fictober 2024
âAnd just where have you been, Jeong Yunho?â you asked your boyfriend in a more teasing manner than anything, once he snuck in past the sliding glass door of the balcony, getting up from the couch you were waiting restlessly on. When he stood there silently just looking at you through the white eye shaped sections of his mask, you pouted, nervously wrapping a lock of hair around your finger. âJust be honest with me and I wonât be mad, okay?âÂ
Despite the lack of sleep, you were ready for him this time. He wasnât about to casually sneak in or out of the house another night that week without you catching him. Usually, you wouldnât have been concerned because you were used to him being gone when there was crime taking place or a super villain that needed to be brought to justice, but recentlyâŚyour boyfriend was acting strange. He was starting to become moody and secretive, opting to brush you off when you asked him about it. Yunho had even taken up using substances in his free time, finding him drunk or high off his ass in the apartment when you got home from work. The final straw was when you came home one night to find him in the kitchen with freshly dyed hair and new piercings he had given himself, a few empty boxes of black hair dye and bloody safety pins laying haphazardly on the kitchen counter.Â
Yunho took off his mask and rubbed at his eyes like he was tired, leaving a bit of smeared eyeliner underneath them, before shoving his hands into the pockets of his frayed jacket, the one that was slightly zipped just enough to cover his iconic red suit.Â
âShe knows about us,â said the annoying parasite that had just recently made a home inside him. âWe should eat her.â
âNo, Iâm not doing that,â Yunho grumbled, running his fingers through his hair in frustration.Â
You walked up to him, gently putting a hand on his chest. âYun, I just wanna know where you were at, thatâs all. You know I respect your space,â you murmured, your pout growing slightly, your eyebrows upturned with concern.Â
âSheâs looking at us with those big round eyes again, Yunho,â Venom told his host, letting out a disgusting groan only he could hear. âItâs gonna make us hard. If weâre not going to eat her, letâs fuck her, at least.âÂ
âMingi asked me to take care of some douchebags that had been causing trouble at that new club he works at. Thatâs all, baby,â Yunho replied softly, reaching down to press the back of his hand against your cheek, before cupping it. He noticed the teary look inside your doe eyes. âHey, are you okay?âÂ
You nuzzled into his big warm hand, before reaching up and wrapping your arms around his neck to hold your boyfriend close. âIâm fineâŚIâve just been worried about you, Yun. Youâve been acting a bitâŚdifferent.âÂ
âLetâs show her just how different weâve become, Yunho,â Venom egged him on, knowing Yunho could feel just how much he wanted to break through the barrier of his hostâs mind and take control. âSheâll love it.â
How could he possibly explain to you that he was always in a never ending battle with a frightening otherworldly parasite that had found its way inside of him? You would be so scared and disgusted, youâd probably never trust him again. He couldnât risk losing you, not when you were his only anchor to the normal life he desperately craved, and the first person heâs ever felt this strongly about.Â
âIâm just going through a phase, I think,â Yunho expressed wholeheartedly, resting his hands around your waist, his thumbs slightly pressing into your hip bones through your sleep shirt, feeling just how delicate you truly were. You were so small compared to him, practically swimming in one of his band t-shirts that you regularly wore to bed; you were so tiny and cute, andâŚâMalleable,â Venom finished. Yunho couldnât tell if the parasite was influencing all of his thoughts or if he was just that perverted.Â
âDo you wanna talk about it, Yun?â You pressed yourself closer to Yunho, feeling his large hands enclose around your small waist, making you feel a bit dizzy. When he shook his head, you tilted yours, wondering if what you felt pushing against your middle was exactly what you thought it was. âOr, do you want to take me to bed?âÂ
It had felt like forever since Yunho had touched you, kissed you even. You had almost forgotten what it was like to feel him inside you, filling you up over and over again until his love spilled out. Just the thought alone made your body begin to overheat. Was it wrong of you to take his simple answer at face value? Should you have pushed the issue, instead of letting him push you back into the wall of the hallway? You werenât sure, but you were just grateful that your boyfriend still wanted you like this.Â
âDid punching those guys at the club make you this horny?â you asked playfully, a sudden shiver of pleasure shooting up your spine when Yunhoâs warm hands snaked up underneath your shirt and began groping at your tits.
âSo horny,â Yunho joked back, a shaky exhale escaping his bobbing throat as he swallowed.Â
âNnngh, I didnât know fighting crime did it for you, Yun.âÂ
âKnowing Iâm already getting your little pussy wet just from this is whatâs doing it for me, baby,â he whispered into your ear, having to practically lower himself to your height just to do so, able to clearly hear the breathless moan that left your lips. Yunho was already breathing hard, his mind swimming with constant racing thoughts that all pertained to his pretty little girlfriend and what he was going to do to you, squishing your soft flesh in between his slender fingers, using his thumbs to rub your hardening nipples in teasing circles.Â
It had felt like eternity since Yunho had allowed himself to feel you underneath his touch, to even simply look at you with unbridled lust. He wanted to see all of you, witness the way you completely opened yourself up to him. It was driving him insane. Was it selfish of him to give into temptation when there was something else living inside him? Something that he knew was taking even more pleasure in this than he was? He wasnât exactly sure, but he knew it was far too late to stop now.Â
âLet us see her tits, Yunho, they feel so nice inside our hands, we need to see,â Venom demanded, desperately shaking the bars of his figurative cage.Â
When Yunho tugged your shirt up and over your tits, your gasp became muffled, your eyes widening as he stuffed the hem of the shirt into your mouth. You were going to close your legs to keep your arousal from spilling down your thighs, but your eager boyfriend pushed his larger one in between them.Â
âYouâre so pretty, angel,â Yunho cooed softly, admiring the way you began to grind your cunt against his thigh, despite the sheepish expression you offered him, a bit of drool escaping the corner of his mouth from witnessing such a display of pure desperation. âLook at you goâŚrubbing yourself all over my thigh like a horny little slut.âÂ
âN-not a slut,â you whimpered softly, his insult causing a fresh wave of slick to leak out onto Yunhoâs torn jeans. âJust need you, Yuyu.âÂ
âHer breeding hole needs to be trained to handle my size. Do it now,â Venom growled into Yunhoâs mind, growing more and more demanding by the second, very aware that his host was starting to lose control of himself.Â
âYeah? How about this?â Yunho pulled your panties to the side so that he could watch as your greedy cunt swallowed up one of his long, bony fingers to the knuckle. âIs that enough, baby?âÂ
âI meant with your human sized cock, you insufferable prick,â Venom chided, simply not understanding the pleasurable benefits that prolonged foreplay could offer being the inhibited hothead that he was.Â
Something about the way Yunho was taking his time with unraveling you, the way he was drinking in the sight of your bare body with pure lust inside his dilated eyes, all while he had one of his digits plunged inside you. It made you pulse and squeeze around it. âF-full.â Â
âBut I barely fit one finger inside you, sweetheart. Whatâll happen if I put another?â Yunho suddenly tugged your borrowed t-shirt up and over your head, leaning in close to your face to catch the way your breath hitched as soon as he slipped another finger inside, curling them just enough to hit your sweet spot each time he finger-fucked you, earning a few whiny moans from his beloved girlfriend. âOh, thatâs right. You turn into my little sex toy, donât you?âÂ
âY-esss, Yuyu, just for you, fuck,â you cried out, hooking your arms around his neck to keep yourself from completely melting into the floor.Â
âThatâs a good girl,â he groaned into your ear, quickly stuffing his thick digits into you, unable to get Venomâs ungodly thoughts out of his head all the while, unable to keep himself from shoving a third finger into you, your slick walls pulsating around him. âYou think youâre feeling full nowâŚjust wait till my cockâs inside you.â
Gasping, your nails dug into his back through his clothes. âOh my god, Yunho, give it to me, please, please, please,â you whined breathlessly into his neck, trembling in his arms as overwhelming pleasure washed over you. âN-need your cock in me.âÂ
âFuck, I canât believe youâre already begging to be fucked like that. I almost forgot how much of a needy little slut you are when you need cock. You like the thought of me stretching out your little pussy that much, huh?â He smiled against your heated skin when you whimpered and nodded eagerly, not allowing you to witness the brief moment his eyes turned completely black. âI just might split you open.âÂ
You almost didnât recognize your boyfriend when he tossed you onto your shared bed like you weighed close to nothing, and you certainly didnât recognize him when he manipulated your limbs until you were laying with your head down against the mattress and your ass up in the air. Usually, he wanted to do missionary, so that he could kiss and look at you when you both came undone, but now, now he had you in a position that was apparently âperfect for breedingâ, or at least, thatâs what you thought you had heard him mumbling about from behind you.Â
âNowâs the time, human. We must show her how great we are,â the alien reminded Yunho, delighted that his black parasitic poison was now making its way through his hostâs veins, showing up from underneath his milky skin. It was changing him in ways that would most definitely benefit all three of you.Â
Yunho squeezed his large hands into the sides of your ass and spread it open, hyper focused on your dripping cunt and how it struggled to accommodate his obscene size. âPoor babyâs so tiny, my little princess can barely take me inside her pretty cunt,â he sighed, pulling out just enough to send a few strands of spit onto his own cock, lubing up the base of it and pushing back in, a shiver of pleasure shooting up his spine as soon as he heard the broken cry that left your drooling mouth. âLooks like weâre going to have to break you in.âÂ
You felt like you were losing your mind. Your boyfriend had just barely bottomed out inside of you and you were already about to cream yourself. And, it mightâve been the cock drunk state you were in, but you swore to god that his dick got bigger. It felt like it was kissing your cervix already and he hadnât even moved yet. Not to mention, it felt so hot inside you, and there was so much pre-cum coating your walls, you almost thought he had came prematurely, but he wouldâve been asleep and snoring away already if he did.Â
Yunho violently interrupted your train of thought by slamming his hips forward, letting out a deep, long groan as though he were experiencing euphoria. He grabbed your wrists and held them behind your back, tucking them together so that he could hold them both with one large hand, and quickly got to work, yanking you back onto his cock, using you like his own personal sex doll. âThatâs fucking it, isnât it, angel? You like that? You fucking like that?âÂ
âYeah, fuck me,â you moaned back, realizing this âphaseâ of Yunhoâs was one of the best things that couldâve ever happened to the both of you, previously unaware that something this rough, something this animalistic, could feel as good as it did.Â
âSheâs ours, sheâs ours, Yunho, fuck, weâre going to cum inside her,â Venom blissfully announced into Yunhoâs head, fully taking over his host in that very instant, gracing Yunho with the symbioteâs much more endowed features.Â
It was then that you let out a sudden gasp, the air that quickly filled your lungs leaving as a wavering moan of pleasure instead. It was almost as if Yunhoâs cock had grown twice in size. You didnât even know how that was possible, but you were too lost in the moment to question it. âSo big, itâs so fucking big, Yunho, nnnngh, itâs gonna break me,â you exhaled, quickly pulling at the sheets once he gifted you partial physical autonomy, your eyes beginning to disappear underneath your eyelashes.Â
âThatâs right, pretty girl, and youâre going to keep taking it all, even after Iâm done impregnating you,â Yunho agreed huskily, bending over you until his overheated body pressed into your shoulders and back, his long fingers curling around the softness of your hips. Just as his never ending seed spilled into you and made its way into your womb, Yunho dragged his long tongue up in between your straining shoulder blades and along your neck, savoring your flavor. He truly wanted to eat you, unable to stop drooling, but the annoying mortal he shared this body with wouldnât let him. Venom figured he would have to settle for the next best thing. Â
You didnât even have a chance to finish shaking, let alone take a breath, before you were being lifted up and lowered back down onto your boyfriendâs face, your cunt fitting snugly between the curves of Yunhoâs lips and nose. Just as he lapped at your extremely sensitive clit and slit, you couldnât help but jolt away, his forearms suddenly locking tightly around your middle. âO-ohâŚ!âÂ
âHold still. Need a taste of this pretty cunt,â Yunho growled under his breath, angling his head back and opening his mouth wide enough so that he could explore the entirety of your used cunt, licking and drinking up the mixed arousal that spilled out of you to his heartâs content.
âY-yunhooo,â you whined pathetically, reaching forward to hold onto the headboard to keep yourself from passing out from the pleasure that was overloading your mind, looking down to watch how he eagerly nosed at your clit. âFuck, iâll cum againâŚâÂ
âThen, do it, princess.â Just as he swallowed down more of your wetness, he realized it wasnât enough, unable to keep himself from sliding the entirety of his tongue inside you, feeling you clench around the base of it.Â
âOh my god, your tongue, itâs soâhaaaah,â you reacted breathlessly, digging your nails into the wood of the headboard, the longer his serpent-like tongue slithered in and out of you so seamlessly, unable to fully understand how any of this was possible. When the thickest part of his appendage rubbed at your g-spot, you saw white around your vision, your ears ringing, unable to hear the filthy slurping sounds Yunho was making underneath you as he drank up your squirt.Â
When you came to, you were back underneath Yunho, in the missionary position he loved so much, yet this time it was profoundly different. His eyes were as dark as his freshly dyed hair, one corner of his mouth split open, inviting a myriad of long, serrated fangs, all while black wispy tendrils clung onto one side of his face like a second skin. You realized too late why Yunho was acting so out of character, and that you were never actually alone with him the past few weeks. You had an uninvited guest, an alien symbiote known as Venom, to be exact â and here you were, face to face with him, his disgustingly oversized cock stretching you wide open.
âOh god, youâre actually going to split me open, what the fuck,â you gasped sharply, clutching the sides of Yunhoâs cheeks, your fingers tugging at the ends of his sweaty hair.Â
âSilly human, as much as weâd enjoy seeing that, you wonât split apart. You have a prime body for breeding, didnât you know?â he chuckled darkly in a two-toned voice, pressing his hand down into your abdomen to feel the sheer size of himself protruding through your lower belly each time his hips routinely smacked into yours. âWe knew Spider-manâs pretty little girlfriend would make a perfect host for our offspring. Just look at you, youâre taking us so well.âÂ
You didnât know what was going to break your mind first, the fact that you were essentially being used as a breeding tool for an alien that would take great pleasure in swallowing you whole, or the fact that your cunt was eagerly swallowing up something so absurdly large, its heavy girth and width stretching you so wide, it felt as though you would fall apart at any given time. Despite the insanity of it all, your body and mind welcomed it, creaming yourself on his alien cock.Â
âGood girlll,â Yunho praised, letting his long slimy tongue slip out to lick up the side of your cheek until he tasted the salt from the tears that fell down your face. He fully sheathed himself inside you one last time, before his large hands cemented around your waist, holding you completely still as his hot load joined the other one he had previously fucked into you, his heavy breaths warming the skin of your neck. âThatâs it, princess, take it all, just like thatâŚâÂ
You could hardly breathe, let alone move, simply laying still in your boyfriendâs arms, taking everything he gave you, as wave after wave of cum coated the insides of your aching cunt and flooded womb, some of it spilling down the insides of your legs and dripping onto the stained sheets below. It felt so good to be filled up in such a way that you came again without direct stimulation, letting out a broken cry, before Yunho silenced you with a kiss.Â
When you opened your teary eyes, your boyfriendâs previously monstrous traits were gone, instead replaced with his usual soft, flushed features that you adored so much. You watched him open and close his mouth, as if he didnât know what to say. You pressed another kiss to his lips, gently running your fingers through his hair. âShould we go to the drugstore to get Plan B?â
Yunho gave you a goofy, though apologetic smile, leaning his face into your neck to give it a few kisses. He pulled himself back up to face you, his eyebrows upturned. âD-do you think it would work on an alien symbiote?âÂ
You patted his head, knowing what you signed up for when you decided to date the Spider-man, figuring one of his superhero friends would have a solution for the both of you. You gave him a soft smile, happy when he returned it. âIf not, letâs get a refund.âÂ

ââââââââââââââââââââââââââ ¡ ďťż ¡ ďťż ¡ ďťż ¡ âĄ
The whole hotel was a bit chaotic right now, Lucifer himself would be visiting in just a bit and Charlie wanted everything to be perfect. Colorful decorations were hanging everywhere, a banner was hung up for welcoming the king of hell, how does one even welcome the king of hell into their hotel? Charlie was probably the most stressed of all, but Vaggie did her best to calm her nervous wreck of a girlfriend down.
The moment Lucifer stepped into the hotel was meant to make everything go down, Alastor and his Ego had somehow always a snarky remark against Lucifer. Charlie tried her best to keep them apart, introducing her other friends, before she announced how she would be needing his help. And again the banter between the king of hell and the radio demon started all over again. As if throwing insults at each other before wasn't enough already, now they were pulling at Charlie left and right, like two babies fighting over a toy.
But all things come to an end, which Charlie was thankful for right now, as Mimzy, apparently a friend of Alastor, which was interesting to know he even had any, came barging in with a grand entrance. As the woman now settles down at the bar, talking with the others, Alastor and Charlie took Lucifer on a walk around, Husker disappearing for a second too, but soon joining them at the bar again, a scowl on his face, but something else, undescribable behind his eyes.
A bang was heard through the whole hotel as the entrance door was slammed open and heard could be an angry voice. "MIMZY! You little bitch!" A demon, a slight bit shorter than Vaggie probably, walked in. A scowl evident on the face, as her eyes scan over the place, before falling on the woman she was looking for. "How dare you leave me in the shit like that?! You've got it coming if those sharks don't kill you, I certainly will!" Ignoring the questioning looks of Angel and Husker, you stomp over to the blonde, ready to yank at her hair, when suddenly a bit of debris was thrown through the window and landed beside you, barely missing you by a hair. "The fuck?" The demon's head craned around, looking out the window and there they were, those fuckers Mimzy was in debt to.
You didn't really have time to react much, as three people stormed into the entrance hall, all you could catch was a glimpse of red before the person ran outside, screams of the sharks could be heard, at least those were finally taken care of.
The loan sharks were gone and fought off quickly by that person, his voice now directed to Mimzy, your own eyes on her yourself with a scowl. She and that red demon apparently knew each other quite well, as Mimzy was walking to the door, you finally really looked at the demon. He had short red and black hair, ears sat atop his head, despite scowling Mimzy he was smiling, though a sinister smile it seems. His attire was almost completely red too, a cane was clutched in his hands, as he watched Mimzy walk off, you could only make out a small part of his face. The man seemed so familiar as if you had known him for a long time.. Your heart was running a mile right now, it was getting hard to breathe, and then...
"Thank you Alastor, really.." The long-haired blonde spoke up.. That name, it couldn't be right? Mimzy would've told you, she knew him, she would've definitely told you.. right? You must be mistaken right now.. Your eyes were fixated on the man called Alastor, the voices and sounds around you were all a mush, drowned out as your brain was going all around. Now that you could see his face, he definitely had some resemblance to him.. to your late husband, who had died before you. You were his assistant, his partner in crime, when the news hit you that he was shot, it broke your heart, but still, you continued on alone, killing. That's probably what also got you to hell, well sooner than later you were figured out and soon arrived here in hell.
"Yo smiles, this girly is gawking at you for minutes now." Slowly voices were coming back to you, the white spider beside you talked, pointing his thumb at you, the red-haired now meeting your eyes, his ears straightening and standing alert like the ones of a deer caught in headlight. What irony if he was your Alastor, the irony of dooming him with deer-like features, after getting shot assumed for a deer while hiding one of the many bodies. That day you decided to let him go alone, oh if you just hadn't done that, maybe you both would be alive or you would've at least arrived together in hell.
Alastor was taking slow steps to you, the smile on his face looking strained, yet it never disappeared, his hand was reaching out for you but stopped. Eyes moving over your form, taking in everything. Resemblance to his wife evident, but.. how did he never notice you before? Had he ever met you, walked past, maybe even taken a second glance but dismissed this feeling he has right now.
Swiftly he grabs your wrist, dragging you behind him, ignoring the calls of his name of the other residents, his mind plagued by one only thought, more like one only person.. you.
Stumbling behind him, his grip rather firm on your wrist, yet it felt comforting as if you knew he would never hurt you. Not in your lifetime and also not now in your afterlife. Eyes watching the back of his head, you were wondering what expression his face harbors right now. Was he happy? Was he confused? Disappointed? Maybe he knew where you were all this time but didn't want to meet you. No, he wasn't like this. He may have been distant sometimes while alive, but in the end, he was always a darling to you. Taking care of you, just as he vowed on your wedding day. A distant memory, yet one of the most beautiful ones you have.
A door was opened and as you were pulled inside, the door closed. Steps echoed through the room, you noticed a forest on the other side of the room, but that didn't rather faze you, eyes on him again.. and him only. "Al-" You were interrupted by laughter, the man before you was hugging himself, his arms around him, yet you still weren't able to see his face. "D-Do you know.. How often have I thought about you?!" His voice was loud, a static sound like from a radio accompanied it. One of his hands was tearing at his hair now. "That bitch never told me... I'll make sure to kill her for that.. She kept you from me.." The laughter got even louder, as if the man before you was going insane.
This behavior was nothing new to you, he used to be like this, high on adrenalin when another murder was successful.. Or when he was close to being figured out by the police and detectives, yet he always slipped away right through their incapable fingers.
"I always wondered what happened to you, if you grew old with someone new.." If you were able to see his face right now, you would be able to see the sinister yet possessive smile on his face, his eyes darting around the room.
This all ended in a second when he felt a soft hand on his. He knew this hand, he also knew the person it belonged to like the front of his pocket. "I would never, I carried on alone in your memories, yet I was never as skilled as you darling, so sooner than later they connected all the dots to me." A low chuckle could be heard again, the static radio sound calmed down again too. The tall man slowly turned around now, his hand engulfing your own, his fingers softly running over your own, before he linked them together. How he had missed this feeling, despite having a distaste for people touching him, you were different. Your touch felt warm, like the summer sun kissing his skin, it felt comforting.
"I've missed you mon amour.." His voice was soft, probably the softest it had ever been since he had arrived in hell. His hand guides yours up to his lips, as he closes his eyes and presses a soft kiss to the back of your hand, a smile, now softer, on his lips. He was never one for kissing you on the lips, he definitely favored kissing your hand, like the gentleman he has always been. "I figured with how you were talking seconds ago my dear.." A soft smile was creeping up onto your lips too, mirroring his own one. Red eyes open again, your hand still pressed to his face, but now he was rather holding your hand to his cheek. "Oh how I wished I could've stayed with you my darling, we would've been so successful.." Giggling at his words, with him at your side, you probably would have been going for a long time. "But who says we can't be successful now?" A smirk etched its way onto your husband's face, oh how he loved your daring little mind, always thirsting for blood. With you by his side again now, he would definitely be able to get everything done that he wanted.
"Shall we go back? I want to meet your friends properly." Wanting to pull away your hand, he softly gives you a tug, your head landing on his chest now. Wide eyes look the the side now, as you weren't really able to move, his arms having snaked around you and his chin resting on your head. This was unusual much physical contact, but figured that you hadn't seen each other for multiple decades he yearned for your touch just a slight bit. Your arms lying around him, embracing the hug. "Let's just stay here a few minutes more, we got enough time to introduce you to everyone down there but for now.. let me have you for myself." Nodding softly, your head rests on his chest, as your eyes close and you simply enjoy the presence of your dearly beloved husband.
"What do you mean 'married to smiles'?!" Angel, as he was introduced to you, shouted from his place on the couch now, staring at you flabbergasted. "We've been married for quite a few years before his death." Smiling you answered his question. Alastor didn't like all the attention you were getting, but sooner than later he would have you all to himself again when you two go back to his cozy hotel room or the radio tower. "So you two fu-" Angel wasn't even able to finish his question before he shut himself up as he noticed the look on Alastors face. This time he would've been dead for sure if he finished that question.
Overall everyone invited you happily into their little hotel family, it was amazing. Charlie immediately took a liking to you and if you're being honest she quickly was viewed by you like a daughter.

idk if youâre taking any requests and if you arenât feel free to ignore this lol
but if you are would you write reader smothering Logan in kisses after she put on red lipstick leaving him covered in red kiss marks (maybe he has somewhere to be so he wipes them off but doesnât realize he missed one till he gets called out on it)
ohh anon I love this!! đđ I canât imagine him being like âalright, alreadyâ but secretly like 𼰠on the inside (and ahh the thought of âreluctantlyâ letting you leave a little kiss mark on him when youâre all going out because he heals too fast to leave a hickey!)
â your kiss is on my list
logan howlett x f!reader | 400 words
Heâs good at pretending.
You catch him coming back from work just as youâre heading out. Tucked away in the stairway as you giggle, finding a hidden corner as you press your mouth against his.
No more than a stolen moment. Hands fisted in your jacket as you pepper kisses against his chin, the scruff of his facial hair. The side of his neck, just below the ear.
âCareful, sweetheart,â He coaxes, âYou look gorgeous, donât wanna mess up that lipstick of yours.â
Though he wants nothing more than to pull you closer. To whisk you away back upstairs - but he knows youâve been talking about your night out with the girls all week.
And maybe heâs not ready to share you yet.
When you pull back youâre smiling, âMm, I wouldnât mind that. You coming over tonight?â
His hand cups your jaw, thumb rubbing under your lip to fix the slight smear, âWas already planning on it.â
Itâs another minute before youâre through kissing him goodbye. His fingers lingering on his lips, as you disappear down the stairs.
If it was later, he wouldnât mind getting a little marked up. Something that would stay against his skin, lingering until morning. Scattered across his chest, his stomach. A pretty red ring around his-
A sharp breath, as he clears his head. If he doesnât get it together heâll be tempted to go after you, and end your night a little early.
His hand scrubs across his mouth, wiping away the trace of you. The heel of his palm scraping across chin and jaw as he opens the apartment door.
Wadeâs eyes flick his way as he enters, before heâs grinning in a way that makes his scowl deepen. Legs swinging as he jumps off the couch - coming over to brace himself on the counter, while Logan ducks down to peer in the fridge.
âOh my god, you little liar. I knew you were hiding something from me, youâve been way too chipper lately.â His roommate chirps, âWhen you bringing her over?â
âWho?â Logan barks defensively, tugging a beer free.
âOh, I dunno,â Wade drawls - reaching out to poke a spot on his neck, âWhoever gave you that little masterpiece right there.â
Logan smacks his hand away with a growl. Fingers rubbing at his skin, seeing how they come back red. He sighs.
Fuck.
thank you again, anon! đ hope you liked this!

Y/N didn't meant for things to end up like that.
She really didn't.
She was just walking alongside her boyfriend through the Target aisles, her eyes darting nervously between the shelves and the floor.
But she should know better. He had already been irritated when they left the apartment - something about her taking too long to get ready - and now, every move she made felt like a mistake.
"Stick close." Her boyfriend had muttered, his voice low but firm. His eyes darted around the store, scanning the aisles of brightly colored products with an air of impatience. "I donât want to spend all night in here."
Y/N nodded quickly, her throat dry.
"Okay."
They made their way down the main aisle, her boyfriend grabbing a few items and putting them into the cart with little regard. It was always like that; he made the decisions, and she just agreed and moved on.
He paused at the end of that same aisle, scanning the shelves with a discerning eye. She lingered a few steps behind, observing.
He grabbed a box of granola bars from the shelf, tossing it into the cart with a louder thud. She winced at the sound, her stomach knotting with unease.
"Why are you standing there? Do you see the cereal we get?" He asked, his tone clipped.
Her throat tightened. She scanned the shelves frantically, her eyes moving over the rows of colorful boxes. She wasnât sure if it was the green box or the blue one.
"Um, I think..." She started, reaching hesitantly toward one of the options.
"Donât think. Look." He snapped, already sounding exasperated.
Her hand faltered, and she pulled it back. Her heart was pounding, and her palms had grown clammy against the leather strap of her purse. She wanted to go home.
They turned into the household goods section, where shelves were lined with glass containers, picture frames, and other fragile items. Her boyfriend stopped abruptly, examining a set of drinking glasses with a critical eye.
"Do you think these match the ones we already have?" He asked, holding up a box with pretty crystal wine glasses.
Y/N hesitated, unsure if he wanted an answer or was just thinking out loud.
"I-I think so."
Her boyfriend sighed, setting the box down with a clatter.
"Youâre not even paying attention."
"I am." She said quickly, her voice barely above a whisper, desperately searching for his free hand. "I promise."
"Whatever." He muttered, letting her squeeze his fingers once before dropping hers, moving on.
Y/N quickly followed, trying to stay out of his way, her eyes fixed on his tall figure, crossing her hands in front of her body and forcing her brain to pay more attention to anything he touched or pointed out. She couldn't risk him thinking that she didn't care.
As she passed by one of the shelves, her purse brushed against a precariously balanced display of small vases. Time seemed to slow as the first vase teetered, then fell, hitting the shelf below it and sending a chain reaction through the display.
Crash!
The sound was deafening. Glass shattered across the floor, the pieces glinting under the white lights. Y/N froze, her breath catching in her throat. She stared at the mess, her heart pounding so hard she thought it might burst out of her chest.
"Oh my god. Are you serious?" Her boyfriend hissed under his breath.
She dropped to her knees instinctively, trembling as she tried to gather the pieces with her bare hands.
"Iâm sorry." She whispered, her voice trembling and desperate.
"You're fucking nbelievable." He muttered under his breath, loud enough for her to hear.
She stopped for a moment, tears prickling at the corners of her eyes. She wasnât crying because of the spilled glasses. It wasnât even about the moment itself. It was about the weight of knowing that every mistake she made was a reason for him to get tired of her. To leave her.
"Iâm sorry." She whispered, again and again, the words tumbling out of her mouth as though they might undo the damage. "Iâm so s-sorry."
But it wasnât just an apology. It was an instinctive response, born from the fear of making him feel any sort of negative emotion at all. She knew that he wouldnât brush this off, wouldnât laugh, and say it was no big deal. He would be mad, and she couldn't let him get mad at her. Not again.
She desperately wanted to shrink herself down into something more digestible for him at that moment. Something he could chew up, spit out, and discard - like gum.
A woman at the end of the aisle glanced over, her expression a mix of surprise and concern. A man on the opposite side peeked around the corner, his eyes narrowing as he took in the scene.
Y/Nâs face burned with humiliation. She felt their stares on her, for sure, full of judgment. Her hands fumbled over the shards, shaking too hard to pick them up properly.
Her boyfriend crouched down beside her, his expression now unusually calm. His hand landed on her shoulder, but the grip was firm, bordering on painful.
"Y/N, honey, stop. Youâre going to hurt yourself."
"Iâm sorry." She whispered again, the tears on her eyes starting to burn her orbs with the force she used to stop the drops from escaping. She couldnât let him see her break. Sheâd learned the hard way that crying only made him angrier.
"Stop it." He said more firmly, moving his hand through her arm, grabbing her wrist and pulling her hand away from the glass. He looked up at the people looking back at them and forced a polite, almost apologetic smile. "Sheâs... a little clumsy. Always has been. Right, honey? I know you didnât mean to. You canât help it, can you?"
Y/N stiffened, her stomach churning. She forced her head to move up and down, the movement coming out almost robotic.
"Youâre just... distracted. All the time." He continued, his smile cold and tight. "Thatâs why these things happen. You canât focus."
She wanted to argue, to tell him that she wasnât some careless mess, but the words died in her throat. What good would it do?
"Here." He said, taking an empty cardboard box near them and shoving the pieces to the side with it, taking it all out of the way. "There. Fixed. See?"
She nodded, swallowing hard.
"Now, get up."
She stood, her knees wobbling slightly as she adjusted the strap of her purse. He grabbed her arm, his fingers digging into her skin.
"Itâs okay." He continued, speaking louder now so the others could hear. "She just gets a little overwhelmed sometimes. Donât worry, weâll take care of this."
The man at the end of the aisle nodded, giving her boyfriend a small, understanding smile. The woman pursed her lips and turned away, muttering something about how 'accidents happen'.
"Letâs go." He said through clenched teeth as he started walking toward the exit.
"But-"
"No." His voice was low, but the warning was clear. He smiled tightly at the few remaining onlookers as he dragged her past them.
Her face burned with humiliation, but she kept quiet, her eyes glued to the floor. His grip tightened when her feet seemed to disobey her brain, and she bit the inside of her cheek to keep from crying out.
The automatic doors slid open, and the cool night air rushed over her, but it did nothing to calm the storm inside her head. Her boyfriendâs pace didnât slow, his hand still gripping her skin as he led her toward the parking lot.
Her heart was pounding, her thoughts spiraling into chaos. She felt like a child being scolded, small and powerless, her voice locked somewhere deep inside her throat.
When they reached the car, he finally let go of her arm, shoving her away as if she were a piece of garbage. She stumbled slightly, catching herself against the side of the car, waiting for whatever came next.
ăăăăă༻﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡༺
From the other side of their spot in the parking lot, the triplets were parked, their van slightly away from the main entrance. It was Wednesday night, and they were filming their weekly video, the interior of the van alive with yells and laughter.
"... No, seriously, people do that sometimes." Chris said, turning slightly towards Matt while trying to prove his point. "Patches O'Houlihan, he did that."
Matt scoffed, looking at him with an 'are you serious?' look.
"From Dodgeball? The fictional character?" He laughed incredulously, looking at Nick through the rearview, ready for another weird thing to come out of Chris's mouth.
Nick's attention, however, wasnât on him - or them, for that matter. It was on the world outside. He always had a habit of scanning his surroundings, probably in a way of caring for himself and his brothers.
As Chris kept going, earning a loud groan from Matt, Nickâs eyes caught movement across the parking lot, almost exactly in front of their van. Near one of the parked cars, a couple stood in the golden glow of a streetlamp.
Nickâs stomach twisted. Something about the way the guy loomed over the girl, his gestures sharp and erratic, immediately set off alarm bells. The girl was visibly distressed, her arms crossed over her chest, her posture shrinking with every second.
Without thinking, Nick leaned forward and slapped Chris on the shoulder, interrupting him.
"Nick, what the-" Chris began, turning sharply, his annoyance evident.
"Shut up." Nick hissed, his voice low but firm, cutting through Chrisâs protest. He nodded toward the couple. "Look."
Chris frowned but followed Nickâs gaze, his expression shifting from irritation to curiosity and then to concern. Matt, who had been in the middle of adjusting his hoodie, leaned closer to the windshield.
"Whatâs going on?" Matt asked, his voice quieter now.
Nick didnât answer, instead reaching for the button to lower his window, easing it down. A faint, angry voice carried into the van, growing clearer as the manâs yelling intensified.
"... do you even understand how embarrassing you are?"
The girl stood frozen, her arms clutching her sides as though trying to hold herself together. Her head was bowed, her hair shielding her face from the world. She didnât respond, didnât dare to look up, and that only seemed to fuel his anger.
"What the fuck?" Matt muttered, leaning forward slightly to get a better look, his eyes glued to the scene.
"You think Iâm joking?" He snapped, stepping closer to her. "You think I enjoy having every pair of eyes in that store on me because you canât manage to walk without causing a damn scene?" The man continued, stepping closer to her.
Her response was so soft that it barely reached the tripletsâ ears.
"Iâm sorry..."
"Sorry?" The man laughed bitterly. "Youâre always sorry. Youâre sorry when you spill coffee, youâre sorry when you trip over your own feet, and now youâre sorry for knocking over half a shelf like a goddamn child?"
The girl flinched at his words, biting her bottom lip while taking a small - almost imperceptible - step back.
Chris tensed after watching her reaction, his jaw tightening.
"This guyâs a piece of-"
"Chris, shush." Matt snapped, his voice low.
"I told you before, didnât I? Stop acting like a fool every time weâre out in public. This is for your own good." The man spat.
"I didnât mean to-" She started, but he cut her off quickly.
"Shut up!" He barked, his voice echoing across the lot. She shrank back, her body trembling. "You know better than to talk back to me." He growled, taking another step closer.
"I wasnât-"
"Stop talking!" He barked, his voice echoing across the empty lot probably louder than intended. "Every time you open your mouth, you make it worse. Do you even understand that? Or are you too stupid to figure it out?"
Tears accumulated inside her eyeballs, shining below the lights.
"Look, Iâll call an Uber, okay?" Y/N murmured, her voice cracking. "You can go home and calm down. Please."
"Oh, youâll call an Uber? Sure, letâs waste more of my money on your screw-ups." The manâs laugh was sharp and bitter.
She reached into her purse, her hands shaking as she pulled out her phone, unlocking it and trying to search for tha app, being harshly interrupted when the man snatched the device from her grip with such force that she stumbled.
Chris shifted uncomfortably, his fists clenched on his lap.
"Do we step in?"
"I don't think we should, not right now." Nick whispered.
"Give it back. Please, baby." She asked, her voice weak, trembling.
"Why? So you can text your little friends about what a terrible boyfriend I am?" He sneered, holding the phone high above his head.
Y/N's mouth dropped open, her wet eyes widening as if he had just committed the worst crime.
"Baby, please." She begged, her tears now falling freely, causing her voice to break. "I would never ever do that. I love you so much, you know that, right?"
He ignored her. With a single, violent motion, he hurled the phone to the ground. The sound of glass and plastic shattering against the pavement echoed in the silence.
She recoiled as though the blow had landed on her instead of the device, a squeak involuntarily escaping from her mouth. Her arms wrapped tighter around herself as she stared at the broken pieces. Her whole life, broken.
"Should've had taken that shit from you sooner." The man spat, shaking his head. "Pathetic. Canât do anything right."
Matt and Nick exchanged horrified glances through the rearview, Chris's face pale by their side.
"P-please, don't leave me here, baby. I love you, I'm so sorry." The girl begged, gluing her hands in a praying gesture in front of her body. "I promise I'll do better."
"I can't even look at your face right now." The man shook his head. "I need some time, okay?" He didn't wait for an answer before storming off to the driver-side of his car, slamming the door and speeding out of the lot, tires screeching against the asphalt.
Y/N stood frozen, her trembling figure illuminated by the lights and the moon.
Chris didnât think. One second, he was staring at her, and the next, his hand was on the van door handle, yanking it open.
"Chris!" Matt hissed from the driverâs seat. "What are you doing?"
"Chris- what the fuck?!" Nick added, his voice urgent but not loud enough to stop him.
But Chris couldnât wait. He couldnât sit there any longer, watching this girl suffer alone.
He bolted from the van, the cool night air hitting him like a slap, but he barely noticed. His long strides carried him across the parking lot, his heart pounding not from his pace but from pure urgency.
"Oh my god, he's crazy!" Mattâs groan echoed from behind him, but it was distant, like background noise.
He didnât stop. He couldnât stop.
The closer he got, the more his stomach churned. Her face was streaked with tears, her cheeks blotchy and raw from crying. But she wasnât just crying. She was panicking. He could see it in the way her hands trembled uncontrollably, and in the way her breath came in short, sharp gasps.
Chris slowed as he approached her, not wanting to startle her. She was staring at the exit of the parking lot, her wide, unfocused and tear-filled eyes locked on the gate arm as though it was the only thing anchoring her to the ground.
"Hey." He said softly, his voice gentle but firm.
She flinched, her head snapping up, and her gaze locked on him as she took a step back. For a moment, she looked utterly terrified, and Chris's throat tightened.
He quickly held his hands up, palms out, trying to show her he wasnât a threat.
"Hey, hey, itâs okay." He said quickly. "I just... I saw what happened, and I wanted to check if youâre okay."
Her lips parted as if she wanted to say something, but no words came out. Instead, a fresh wave of tears spilled down her cheeks. She shook her head, taking another step back, her back almost hitting the metal post of the streetlight.
"You donât have to be scared." Chris said, his voice softer now, almost pleading. "Iâm not going to hurt you, I swear. I just want to help."
She looked at him again, her watery eyes studying his face as though trying to figure out if he was lying.
Chris took a cautious step closer, keeping his movements slow.
"Youâre shaking." He said gently. "It's freezing out here. Can I... can I give you my hoodie?"
She blinked at him, her brows furrowing slightly.
"Why?" She croaked, her voice barely above a whisper.
"Because itâs cold, and youâre upset, and Iâd feel better if you werenât standing out here like this." Chris said honestly, shrugging off his hoodie - ignoring how the hairs on his arm fully stood up with the cold air - and holding it out to her.
She hesitated, her eyes darting from his face to the piece of clothing, then back again.
"Itâs okay." Chris reassured her. "You donât have to take it, but I promise itâs clean. And warm."
After what felt like an eternity, she slowly reached out and took the hoodie from him. Her hands were trembling so much that she almost dropped it, but she managed to pull it to her chest, pressing it against her covered skin.
"Thank you." She mumbled, her voice shaky.
Chris exhaled a breath he hadnât realized he was holding.
"Of course. Whatâs your name?" He asked in a soft tone. "I'm Chris."
She blinked her eyes at him, frowning, clearly surprised by the question.
"Y-Y/N." She said hesitantly.
"Y/N." He repeated, offering her a small, reassuring smile. "Itâs really nice to meet you... Um, do you want to sit down? You look like you need a second."
She looked around the parking lot again before nodding slowly, and Chris gestured to the curb nearby. He waited until she sat down before taking a seat a few feet away, giving her space but staying close enough that she wouldnât feel alone.
For a moment, neither of them spoke.
"Iâm fine." She finally said - even though it wasn't what Chris was expecting to hear, her voice cutting through the silence, hoarse and shaky.
Chris tilted his head slightly, his brows furrowing.
"I donât think you are."
"I am." She insisted, but her voice cracked on the words, betraying her.
Chris turned his face slightly to the side to meet her eyes, curving his upper body, trying to make himself seem less imposing.
"I know you donât know me. Well, only my name now." He said softly. "But I can tell youâre not fine. And thatâs okay. You donât have to be. Not after that."
She bit her lower lip hard, and for a second, Chris thought she might break down again. But instead, she straightened her spine, her trembling hands wiping at her tear-streaked face.
"It's not as bad as it looked. He was just angry." She said quietly, almost as if she was saying that to herself. "Itâs not his fault. I... I messed up."
Chrisâs heart sank at her words.
"You didnât mess up." He said firmly, his voice laced with conviction.
She shook her head, her hands gripping the fabric of his hoodie tightly.
"I did. I dropped something, broke it, actually. It was stupid, and it drew attention to us, and... and he doesnât like that. He was just trying to make me understand."
Chris stared at her, his chest tightening painfully.
"Thatâs not okay." He said softly. "No one should treat you like that, no matter what happened."
"You donât understand." She said, her voice rising slightly as she hugged herself tighter. "He just... he gets frustrated sometimes, but itâs because he cares. He doesnât mean to be mean."
Chrisâs jaw clenched, a mix of anger and sadness boiling inside him.
"Love isnât supposed to be like that, Y/N." He said gently. "Itâs not supposed to hurt you and leave you standing in a parking lot crying, shaking, and alone."
Her eyes filled with fresh tears again, and she looked away, staring at the ground as if she couldnât bear to meet his gaze.
"You donât know him." She whispered, shaking her head vehemently.
Chris wanted to scream, to grab her shoulders, and shake her until she understood that what she was describing wasnât love. It was control, manipulation, and abuse. But even though he had never helped a victim of a toxic and abusive relationship before, he knew he should keep his voice calm, so he did it, maintaining his tone soft and steady.
"Youâre right." He said. "I donât know him. But I know what I saw, and I can only imagine what it feels like to have someone make you think youâre the problem when youâre not."
Her head whipped toward him, her eyes narrowing.
"You donât know anything about me."
Chris held up his hands.
"Youâre right again. I donât. But Iâm not here to judge you. Iâm here because I want to help. No strings, no expectations. Just... let me help. I can't leave you alone here for the rest of the night."
She shook her head again, her hands trembling as she brushed her hair out of her face.
"I shouldnât even be talking to you about this. It isn't fair to him. Heâd be so heartbroken if he knew."
Chris watched her for a second too long.
"But you deserve to talk to someone." He finally said. "You deserve to feel safe."
"I am safe!" She snapped, her voice ringing out in the empty parking lot. The declaration sounded hollow, as if she was trying to convince herself more than him.
Chris took a deep breath, closing his eyes for a second.
"I just want to help you." He said, his tone pleading. "Do you have someone you can call? A family member, a friend? You can use my phone-"
Her reaction was immediate and panicked. She shook her head furiously, her eyes wide with fear as her body tightened, seeming ready to stand up and run.
"No! No, I canât call anyone."
"Why not?" Chris asked gently, though his heart was racing, his eyes traveling quickly to his car where his brothers were before going back to Y/N. "Theyâd want to help you, just like I do."
"I said no!" She cried, her voice cracking. Her breathing was shallow and quick now, teetering on the edge of hyperventilation. "You donât understand. I canât just call someone. And you... you need to go. God, you shouldnât even be here."
Chris frowned, his brows knitting together.
"Please, Iâm just trying to-"
"You donât get it." She interrupted, her voice hushed but frantic. She glanced around the parking lot as though expecting her boyfriend to be there somewhere, watching them. "Heâs going to come back. And if he sees you here, if he thinks... you need to leave. Now."
Chrisâs stomach dropped at the sheer terror in her voice.
"Y/N, he won't hurt you in any type of way while I'm here with you. I can promise you that." He moved a bit closer again, careful not to make any sudden movement. "Let me do something for you. Anything, please."
"You canât." She whispered, her voice barely audible. "No one can. Please, just go. Heâs going to be here soon, and I-I canât let him see you."
She was holding onto that story like it was a lifeline, but the way her hands trembled and her breath hitched betrayed her doubt.
"What if he doesnât?" Chris asked gently. "What if heâs not coming back tonight?"
Her face fell for a brief moment before she quickly masked it, straightening up.
"He will." She said, though there was no conviction in her tone. "He always does."
Chris nodded, looking around dismissively.
"Okay. Maybe he will. But just in case... maybe you could let me help you. You donât have to trust me, I get that. I'm a stranger. But let me offer you something. A safe place to wait."
"I donât have anywhere to go." She admitted, her voice so quiet it was almost lost in the night air. "Just our house. And I don't think I should go back there now."
Chrisâs heart twisted at her words and how uncertain they sound, but he kept his expression neutral, careful not to show pity.
"Okay." He said softly. "Then maybe you can just... talk to me. You donât have to get in my car. We can sit out here. Iâll stay right here in the open where you can see me."
She hesitated, her eyes darting to the ground.
"Why do you care so much?"
Chris crossed his legs above the pavement, relaxing his posture further.
"Because I know what itâs like to feel like youâre on your own." He said simply. "And because I donât think anyone should have to go through something like this alone. You donât deserve that."
She hesitated, her gaze watching her hands above her thighs.
"I wonât call the police unless you want me to." Chris added. "I wonât push you to do anything you don't want to do. But you donât have to deal with this alone."
Her lip quivered, and she closed her eyes tightly, her voice barely a whisper.
"I donât even know what Iâd do."
Chrisâs heart ached for her, but he kept his tone steady.
"How about this." He said. "Iâll stay with you until you figure that out. If you want, I can take you to a hotel, or I can help you find somewhere else to stay for the night. But whatever you decide, Iâm not going to leave you here."
She was silent for a long time, her shoulders rising and falling with each shaky breath. Finally, she nodded, just once.
"Okay." She said.
Chris exhaled slowly, relief washing over him.
"Okay." He echoed.
For the first time that night, she looked at him fully, her eyes filled with a mix of fear and cautious hope.
He opened his widest smile in response, leaning back slightly with his palms against the curb behind his back and glancing up at the sky.
"You know." He started, his tone casual. "This isnât exactly the way I imagined spending my Wednesday night."
Her eyes scanned his face carefully, frowning, feeling like she was the one to destroy his day - or night.
"What do you mean?" She asked hesitantly, her voice hoarse.
Chris shrugged, being careful not to mention his career. He didn't want to overwhelm her.
"Well, usually on Wednesdays, Iâm sitting in my van with my brothers, arguing over who gets to pick the fast-food spot. Weâre probably debating something ridiculous, too."
That earned him the smallest, almost imperceptible twitch of her lips. It wasnât quite a smile, but it was something. It encouraged Chris to continue.
"My brothers are idiots, by the way." He said, his tone light. "Donât tell them I said that, though. They'll get big heads thinking I actually pay attention to their nonsense."
Her brow rose slightly, curiosity tugging at the edges of her expression, her body instinctively leaning towards him.
"What are they like?"
Chris chuckled, throwing his head to the side, laying his cheek against his shoulder and looking at her eyes.
"They're amazing. Weird, but amazing. They're so funny in their individual way, always making me laugh so hard that sometimes I feel like I could pass out."
This time, she let out a soft, breathy laugh, and Chris felt a flicker of warmth in his chest. It was small, but it was progress.
"Youâre close with them?" She asked quietly.
"Yeah." Chris said, nodding. "Itâs hard not to be when you all live and do everything together. But theyâre good guys. Annoying as hell, but good."
She looked down at her hands, her fingers fidgeting with the frayed edge of his hoodie sleeve.
"Must be nice." She murmured.
Chrisâs smile faltered for a moment, but he recovered quickly.
"It is." He admitted. "But, you know, we fight sometimes. Like, really fight. Last week, Matt threw a punch at me because I wouldnât stop talking during his game."
Her lips twitched again, and this time, it was a small, shy smile.
"What were you saying?" She asked, her voice soft but carrying a hint of amusement.
"Oh, some random shit. Canât even remember now. Probably something embarrassing, knowing me." Chris grinned. "Matt said I was ruining his concentration, but honestly, I think he just doesnât appreciate my brain work."
She shook her head slightly, her smile lingering.
"Youâre ridiculous." She said softly, almost reflexively, but as soon as the words left her mouth, her expression shifted. Her body tensed up, her shoulders pulling in as her eyes darted to him in alarm. "I didnât mean-"
"Guilty as charged." Chris smoothly interrupted her, opening a smirk while looking at her, trying to express through his eyes that it was okay. "But, hey, if ridiculous is what it takes to make you laugh, then Iâm all in."
Her looked down again at the pavement, scraping her shoes over the small rocks.
"Thanks." She said quietly.
"For what?" Chris asked, his voice gentle.
"For... keeping me company." She said, her gaze fixed on her lap. "I donât feel... as bad right now."
Chris felt a lump in his throat but pushed it down, keeping his tone light.
"Anytime." He said. "Iâve got a whole arsenal of dumb stories and good jokes if you need them."
She looked at him then, her eyes softer than before.
"Youâre really nice." She said, pressing her lips in a fine line.
Chris shrugged, a faint blush creeping up his neck.
"I just donât like seeing people hurt." He said honestly. "And, I donât know, you seem like someone who deserves a lot better than... all this."
Her eyes filled with tears, and for a moment, Chris thought she might start crying again. Instead, she took a deep breath and nodded.
"Thanks." She said again, her voice steadier this time.
Chris gave her a warm smile.
"No problem. Now, how do you feel about bad puns? Because Iâve got a killer one about a duck and a lawyer."
Her laughter filled the cold night air, causing a large smile to stretch across Chris's lips. He would do everything in his power to help this girl.

Part 7
Can't stop thinking about how the 141 met reader
(she's a long one. not entirely happy with it either so may edit later)
No harm done yet.
You never saw Simon actually hurt anyone. Johnny and Kyle would share stories about poor recruits who fucked around and eventually found out that Simon had no issue beating them within an inch of their life.
You knew he had a reputation and, like the rest of them, had blood on his hands. But it never bothered you. Didn't make you think twice about loving him or seeing him as the protector he had always been to you. To be frank, you could never actually picture any of them being violent.
But his voice... Fuck. His voice. It fucking rattled you. You actually feared for those fucking idiots now. Sure, they deserved to have their asses kicked, but an ass-kicking was probably going to be a welcomed after thought to whatever Simon would do.
You rinsed off, not bothering to wash your hair, but needing to wash up before getting in the bed. Hoping the scalding hot water washed away the uneasiness on your skin that had began to settle into your bones.
Even feeling fresh and laying in clean sheets, you still found yourself tossing and turning wondering exactly what did Simon do?
Did he walk away? Realizing you weren't worth the trouble, did he just tell them to knock it off?
You had stupidly expected Simon to check in. To check if you made it home alright or at least to let you know he was okay. So you waited... And you waited. You had half a mind to call him yourself before remembering it wasn't your place anymore to care. You had cared enough for the five of you.
It was well past two in the morning before you finally called it a night.
The next morning, still nothing from Mr. Riley. Not a 'did you home alright?' or 'are you okay?' text. Nada. Zilch.
Whatever.
Fuck him.
You had to open up shop, but luckily your Saturday mornings were much more relaxed. The shop wouldn't be open until 10, so you had the time to sleep in and enjoy the morning.
By noon, Mere had sent you several texts reminding you that you had promised to go out. You had tried to dissuade her. The encounter with those men last night had brought back sour memories. One involving handsome men coming to your rescue when it was most certainly needed.
You had tried to bail. Giving her any excuse you could: Last night put you on edge. You no longer wanted to go out. After last weekend, you just needed some down time.
Eventually you had realized she was not taking no for an answer after she had shown up to your apartment, already ready for a night out.
"You're not wearing that, are you?" Mere asked. Mere was in her usual Saturday femme-fatal attire. The black leather pants that accentuated her curves and red corset paired well with her freshly box dyed color black hair.
She looked more like a dominatrix than someone who worked at an attorney's office. Even if both professions included bending someone over and fucking them for all their worth. You wondered who would charge more by the hour....
You had pulled out a off white lace square neck top and a pair of high waisted medium washed baggy jeans. A perfectly cute outfit for a night out. Which was your defense when she had suggested you needed to change.
Tab had arrived later than expected (something about a system being down at work), but made up for it by bringing a pre-game snack. Yes, you had officially reached the age where you no longer starved yourself hours before going out to get more drunk quicker and cheaper. No you had to eat carbs or else you wouldn't be able to leave your room the next day as you pathetically nurse a hangover.
Tab wore a denim skirt. If you could even call it that. It paired well with the white tank top that you could make out the shape of her nipple piercing.
But they looked hot. Really hot.
"This is a perfectly acceptable outfit."
"For a day at market, not for trying to get laid."
"I don't want to get laid." You said, rummaging through your closet, yet again. "Getting laid is what got me in this mess in the first place."
A little over two years ago
"Fuck him." Tabitha wrapped her arms around your shaking body as you continued to sob. "He was a prick who didn't fucking deserve you."
"He couldn't even get you to cum." Mere felt the need to remind you as if that would somehow lessen the blow of your heartbreaking into a million shards. The shrapnel feeling like it would kill you.
"I loved him," your voice is small. "I fucking loved him." You had been dating for almost three years. You had his grandmother's ring on your fucking hand for God's sake. "I'm so stupid."
"You are not stupid." Tabitha gave you a squeeze. "He was a liar and a fucking coward." Meredith rubbed her thumb on you bare leg, offering physical reassure. Letting you know even if she wasn't the hugger Tabs was, she was still here.
"You can't keep locked up in this apartment." She was unfortunately right. You had not only barricaded yourself in your apartment for two weeks, but you hadn't returned to your bedroom. The scene of the crime. "You need to get out."
"Yeah," Tabitha rubbed your arm as if trying to coax you out your metaphorical shell. "Get some fresh air. We can go grab a treat. Maybe go out for some coffee." It didn't surprise you that Tabitha was offering a treat to entice you to leaving your sanctuary.
"I was thinking going to a bar." It also didn't surprise you that Mere offered her way of coping. Getting so drunk that you forgot what you even sad about. Or going out and finding someone to fuck the sadness out of her.
"Because getting alcohol in her system in this state is just what she needs." Tabitha was the mom of the group whereas Mere was the fun drunk aunt. They balanced one another out.
"Actually," you said, giving a pathetic sniffle. "Going out would be nice." Getting away from the apartment is what you need. And going out would be the excuse you would need to get yourself all dolled up.
What you hadn't planned for was getting so pissed that you had manage to breakaway from your friends. Searching for them in teh crowd of people. Failing and when you pulled out your phone were met with a completely black screen.
Dead. Perfect.
The same moment you swore the night couldn't get any worse, it did.
He looked the same. Same as he been four months ago when he asked you to become his wife. Same as he had been two weeks ago when you had caught him fucking another girl. The girl he told you not to worry about. The girl he insisted was just one of the guys. A girl you had told him time and time again would fuck him the moment she had the chance.
It wasn't always great to be right.
When your eyes connected, your body had went into immediate flight mode. Every neuron in your body was shooting out signals of RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN. So that's exactly what you did.
You fucking bolted.
Or felt like you bolted. But you could only scurry so fast in chunky heels while simultaneously pulling down your skirt that had decided to ride up. Aching to show your ass for all of London to see.
You had made it a quarter of the way back to your apartment. Your feet aching. Toes pinched together from the strap digging into them.
"Baby, please!" You heard him before you felt his arm clamp down on your shoulder. Hard. When did his touch become something heavy? Something that practically burned you.
You turned. Eyes brimming with unshed tears as you hissed at him to leave you the fuck alone. The begging came, but you turned around. Determined to go home. He didn't deserve the chance to explain himself and he could most certainly shove his apology up his ass.
He wouldn't shut up. Insisting it was a mistake. A one time thing her fault. How she seduced him. As if he were the victim in all of this. You weren't buying it. Not for one moment. One doesn't accidentally invite some slut over and fall balls deep into her while they are in the same bed he shares with his fiancĂŠe.
It wasn't until you were in a more dimly lit area that he had gotten the nerve to grab you. His grip was firm on your arms as he held you in place. "Listen to me!" His voice was panicked.
The feeling of anger slowly began to dim as something else began to rise.
Fear.
You were afraid.
You were in a part of town not many people were out and about in at this time of night. No bystanders to really take note of the scene, or at least not any caring enough to stand by and watch; even for entertainment.
Your friends didn't know where you were at and you were tipsy. And alone.
"Cardan," you swallowed, trying to steady your voice. "Please let me go."
"Not until you talk to me," his fingers dug into you. "We can work this out, okay? It was one mistake." He tried to argue, his voice rising, soaked in desperation. "What's one mistake compared to three years?"
"Cardan," you tried to pull away, his grip only tightening. "You're hurting me." It came out as a pathetic whimper. You were so close to crying, too afraid to scream.
"Hey!" A voice barked from behind you. It caused your whole body to stiffen."Get your fucking hands off her. Someone noticed. Someone was here. Someone was here. Someone was here.
"We are having a conversation." Cardan's eyes left you, looking at whoever stood behind you.
"The lass said to leave her be." Another voice. Someone else. Two (three if you counted yourself, but in that moment you couldn't) people against one. There was no a possibility of you getting the fuck out of this situation.
Cardan stood firm. His eyes looking past you. A silent refusal to back down.
"Either you let her go," another voice. Another accent different that the first two. "Or we fucking make you."
"One against four. Odds aren't in your favor, mate." Four. Four men stood behind you. Faceless strangers there to help you.
"This doesn't concern you." Cardan bit out.
"Aye," Scottish. The second guy was definitely Scottish. "I think it does if she's tellin' ye' to piss off and yer bein' a bawbag about it."
"So what'll it be?" The third voice, deep and threatening, yet still so... calming. As if the vibrations from his deep, rich pitch washed over you.
Cardan looked back at you, his eyes not as manic. He realized he didn't have a chance. This was a fight he had to walk away from or else he wouldn't be walking away from it at all. "I'll swing by tomorrow, okay?" He asked.
You couldn't do anything, but nod. Agree that you could talk tomorrow in the safety of the sunlight. Eventually he walked across the street before fading out into the night. Blending in with the shadows.
You turned around to meet your would-be saviors.
Four men. All slightly older than you and so handsome you felt foolish for gawking at them as if this were your first time seeing a man. Hell, maybe it was. At least specimens like this. All of them tall and broad. Towering over you.
No wonder Cardan got the fuck out of there. Tabs was right. He was a coward.
"You alright?" The one who first spoke up asked. You could place his voice. Now just needed to place the other three. He had a hearty mustache and mutton chops. A look on any one else would make you immediately get the ick. But for a moment you wondered if that mustache would tickle... "Do you need us to call anyone?"
You felt your cheeks flush with heat.
"I just want to go home." You said. "Thank you for stepping in. I don't know what would have-" You stopped. Too afraid to think about the possibilities. There was a time you would never believe that Cardan had the ability to hurt you.
There was also a time you believed he would never cheat. You weren't really sure what to believe anymore. "Anyway," you continued. "Thank you again." You turned on your heel before continuing your stride.
You had only made it several feet before you were stopped again. "Which way? One of us can walk you home." You weren't entirely sure. But with a dead cellphone and a unhinged ex probably lurking in the shadows, there was little time to weigh the pros and cons before giving them a general direction of where you lived.
Which just so happened to be the direction in which two of the four lived. The Scot and one of the two who had yet to speak. The first one, who had still yet to introduce himself instructed the two of them to drop you off and let him know you had made it home alright.
You had hoped that the rest of your night would be met with silence, but the Scot couldn't seem to help himself. "I'm Johnny." He introduced. "And the spooky, silent type is Simon." He gave a playful wink. You gave him your name, not wanting to be rude.
"Not my place to ask," he began. "But what was the deal with that fucker? Ex-boyfriend?"
"Johnny." Simon's tone held warning. You appreciated the defense, but frankly didn't care. These were strangers. Who cared what they thought.
"Ex-fiancĂŠe," you clarified. "One who decided to fuck another girl in my bed. Not even our bed. My bed."
"Jesus fucking Christ," the Scot swore. "I was right. He was a fucking bawbag." For whatever reason, that made you laugh. For the first time in two weeks you fucking laughed. And it felt like you were breathing again.
Simon was quiet, not contributing to the conversation and just letting Johnny babble. Talking your ear off in a short trek as if it were an olympic sport.
You were so distracted with his voice you hadn't realized how far you had made it until the sound of your keys clattering onto your kitchen counter brought you back.
Back to a situation you didn't know how the fuck you landed in.
Two men (who you don't know) are in your apartment. Your friends don't know where you are. You are a little bit too inebriated to plan and exit strategy. Doesn't exactly help your confidence in fighting them off since they are built like fucking brick houses.
"He won't come sniffin' around here botherin' ya, will he?" Simon asks, speaking for only the second time since he had threatened Cardan. You shake your head.
"No," you said. "I have him blocked on everything. So I think when he saw me tonight it was just kind of an opportunity, I suppose?" You offer. Cardan had showed up to your place one time with a random assortment of flowers and a useless apology you had to hear through the door as you covered your mouth. Concealing your cries. Too afraid to let him know you were there.
Too afraid that some part of you would be weak enough to take him back.
"We'll leave ye' be." Johnny said, nodding his head toward the door. "But if he comes bein' a shite to ye again, you can give us a call."
"Phones dead." You explain, holding up your phone as if you needed to prove yourself. Johnny offered the brilliant, yet simple solution of giving him your number. He sent off a text, knowing it would be there when you turned back on and promising to check in later.
They both gave subtle nods of goodbye before turning away.
And just like that, they left. The door clicking softly shut behind them. You stood, frozen for several beats before walking over and locking the door.
You plugged your phone into the charging cable, waiting until it lit back to life before shooting off a text in your group chat with Tab and Mere.
Sorry I took off. Ran into Cardan and fucking made a dash for it. Sorry if I worried you. I'm at home. I'm okay. Grab lunch tomorrow and we can talk about it? My treat?
You signed off the text with a heart emoji and turned your phone on do not disturb. Too afraid of your friends going all Mama Bear on you for running away while drunk. Even if your reasons were valid.
You had texted Johnny again. Not because Cardan dared to bother you again, but to thank him. Acknowledging that not many men would have done for you what he and his friend did. Johnny assured you it wasn't anything.
Before you knew it, the two of you were hanging out with Simon always tagging along. It took you a while to realize he did actually like you, but his stoic nature was just who he was. You had met Kyle and John, both as charming and respectful as Johnny and Simon.
John had been the first two mention wanting to take you on a date. It didn't go well with the other three. They all had the same intention and a rock, paper, scissors tournament seemed to juvenile to figure out who got the privilege in courting you. Eventually, they had decided to ask you.
Putting you on the spot to answer the question that had begun to tear them apart: which one of them will it be?
Johnny made you laugh. He was the first person you thought about calling when your day was a bit grey. He saw the positive in everything and was the one who made you feel like even the bad days weren't so terrible.
Then there was Simon. The one who you felt like was your safe place in body and mind. You would babble all day talking to him, thankful when he would let you rant. Your mind was able to go on auto-pilot in terms of safety because you knew Simon would handle it. He also gave the best hugs.
John was the one who instilled the confidence in you that you needed. Your bookstore, your writing, whatever aspirations you had, no matter how wild, John would support it. Nothing was too big. After you all started dating, he was the first person you ever let read your book. He gave you praise as well as critique, pointing out multiple plot holes and helping you craft it better. And never once taking credit for it, even when it was due.
Kyle was the most thoughtful one. He was the one who knew you liked trying knew things so he made an effort to always make date nights interesting. A new restaurant, a new activity or experience. He was the biggest giver of the group.
So when they did ask you, you answered honestly.
"I can't choose." They insisted that you didn't need to spare their feelings, but you stood firm in your decision. "No. I can't choose. I'm interested in all of you." When they pressed on why the fuck you didn't say anything earlier, you told them to avoid this kind of situation. Where you had to choose. You were fine continuing on as just friends if that meant you got to keep all of them.
Mere and Tabs were great friends, but they are the ones who helped pull you out of the slump. The ones who made you feel lovable. The ones who made you feel like a woman again.
"Helloooooo." Mere's hand waved in your face while another held something she had found in your closet. "So are you going to change or not?" Your eyes darted to the skimpy glittery black dress. The same one for your first date with them. Your stomach twisted as you took the sparkly dark fabric in your hand.
You nodded as if trying to shake the memory out of your mind. "I'll change and we can go." Better just to get it over with.
The place that Mere had dragged you to was a club that played music that you would only listen to while encapsulated in the aroma of cheap liquor and sweat. Your outfit form-fitting. The material too stiff to be comfortable, but it was cute. The hem of your dress coming to rest just below your ass cheeks. Hugging your body in a way that made you feel self conscious the moment you stepped out of your building.
Mere had run into some work colleagues. Names you couldn't and wouldn't remember. There had been a high profile divorce going on. Very messy. She had been so encapsulated by the gossip that she hadn't notice you and Tabitha had slipped off toward the bar.
Tabitha insisted on shots and you needed something to get your mind off the less than exciting night. Your expectations weren't high, but fuck. You would have been much more comfortable wearing the jeans. You felt like a piece of fucking meat. It would have been so bad if someone were gonna buy you a dr-
"This seat taken?" It was a cliche introduction attached to a slightly better than average face. Decent enough where it didn't hurt to look at him, but not attractive enough to be a seat.
"By all means," you said turning back to Tabitha who looked at the guy now sitting to your left and raising her eyebrows. Fucking hell. Not her too.
"It's pretty packed tonight." He commented, attempted to make small talk. You hated small talk. At least unless it came to Johnny who would get into discussion on politics, religion and why on the side was the best way to fuck because it gave him 'a perfect view of the front and back of ye.'
"You come here often?" You asked, not wanting to be a total bitch, but having absolutely zero desire to be entertaining him.
"When I can." He said. "I prefer the Artifact a couple of blocks down. Not many people heard of it. A bit of a hole-in-the-wall place." Oh cool. A fucking hipster who liked to act superior at knowing a place that is underground. You could feel any possibility of getting your pussy wet, dry at the thought of this man actually wanting to come onto you.
Jesus, when did you become so harsh.
I blame Simon.
"Oh," you say, no longer interested in entertaining the conversation. "Sounds lovely. My friend and I just came out for a bit of girl-" you turn to look at Tabitha who had somehow miraculously disappeared in the 45 fucking seconds that your back was turned....
Little bitch.
"Bathroom, I suppose." He laughed. It was the sincerity in his voice that irked you. God, why was he pissing you off just trying to start a conversation?
"I suppose." You gave a soft smile back, turning once the bartender had come over to grab your order. Which the stranger next to you had insisted buying. Nothing quite as arousing as obligated conversation.
"There's no need for that-"
"Percival." He introduced. "But my friends call me Percy." Your immediate thought was who the fuck names there kid Percival. The second was to offer him a fake name. Real enough to be believable, but fake enough where if he tried to search you up on any social media, you could just deny having any.
"I hate to be brash," he started. Then don't. "But I can't imagine a girl like you being single."
"Not really looking for anything romantic at the moment." You say, the first time you've been truthful this entire conversation. Percival leaned in closer, before asking in a low voice that he was doubt trying to convey as sexy, "Are you sure?"
And there it was. The final ick that nailed the coffin shut.
You offered in a soft smile before swallowing hard. "Percival,"
"My friends call me-"
"I'm going to be frank." Your voice is soft, as if explaining to a small child why we don't always get the things we want. "I just got of a very long and deep and meaningful relationship and the idea of being near another man in any intimate or emotional capacity wants me to cause very serious bodily harm to said man."
His expression fell.
"I appreciate your confidence in coming over here and making small talk, but if you're wanting to fuck me or even attempt to be friends, I must inform you that is no only not in the cards, but not in your best interest." You turned, downing the rest of your cocktail.
"Time for a trip to the bathroom myself, I suppose." You stood from your seat, having to readjust your dress.. "Have a good night."
You were washing your hands when a red-faced Mere walked into the bathroom. Tabitha on her heels with a concerned expression.
"What did you do?" Mere asked.
"What are you talking about?" You asked. You had half a mind to ask them why the fuck they pulled a disappearing act after insisting you go out.
"You told Percy you would castrate him?" You looked as if you had been slapped. The pieces falling into place to reveal a totally fucked up puzzle.
"You fucking tried to set me up." You seethed, a finger pointing accusingly.
"Well, fuck, what did you expect me to do?" She asked. "You were sulking."
"Listen to me!" You cried. "I want you to listen to me. I was with them for two years. It hasn't even been two weeks and you're going behind my fucking back and trying to set me up with fucking Percival? How the fuck do you even know him? Do you even know him?" She ignored your last question. How convenient.
"I thought it would be good to get it out of your system." She tried to defend, her pissyness now matching yours. "You always do this. I was just trying to help."
"What do you mean 'I always do this'?" Your eyes turned into slits.
"Why don't we just calm down and-" Tabitha tried to stop the escalation. Mere, very obviously, ignored that cue.
"You get so hung up on a guy, or in this case guys, it takes you fucking weeks to recover." You stare at her. Unsure if she was really comprehending the bullshit that had come out of her mouth.
"I'm certain you aren't trying to make me feel bad for grieving a relationship that I was in for over three years to a man I was engaged to. To find him fucking in my apartment, in my bed the same week I was going to get my wedding dress."
"It's not just Cardan," she went on. "Issac in our second year of school?" You gave a humorless chuckle.
"Oh yes," you said condescendingly, "the boy I had dated from 14-years old- until I was 19. The boy I gave my virginity two months before he told me he was not only not interested in me, but women in general." As if that somehow lessened the blow. "Absolutely shouldn't have bothered me a bit."
"You only went out for classes and food for two months!" She said as if you had hit a pedestrian with your car. As if you were a fool for being so distracted by a breakup you couldn't be bothered to carry on with life as normal.
"I'm sorry that I actually take the time to grieve my relationships." You said. "I forgot that it may be hard for either of you to comprehend what a relationship is like considering the only relationship either of you have is with your work or with each of us."
"Hey!" Tabitha said. "I understand your pissed, but there isn't need to attack us like this."
"Attack you?" You asked. "Attack you? This isn't me attacking you. This is me responding to an uncomfortable situation that you put me in. I told you I didn't want to even think about me. I didn't want to fuck someone else and you go and do this?"
"He seems like a decent guy." You roll your eyes.
"Probably why he's not your type, right?" Mere crossed her arms over chest. Eyebrow arched as if she were hoping the words enticed you to realize that you had a history of going after the wrong guys.
Unfortunately, it did not.
You sucked on your teeth, carefully choosing your words before World War III broke out in a nearly vacant bathroom in South London. You took a deep breath. Calming yourself as best as you could.
Before saying fuck it and letting it loose.
"Just because your idea of coping is getting drunk and fucking someone you plan on never speaking to again, quite literally discarding them like trash, doesn't mean the rest of us cope the same way." You hoped it hurt. You hope it stung the same way she had tried to sting you.
You had hoped that your word would be the final blow before both sides called a treaty.
"You mean like they did you?"
And just like that, you heart stuttered. A rapid dum dum dum in your chest as it had been tripped up by her words. The truth in them heavy. The shift in the air was almost immediate;.
"Sweetheart-" Tabitha had tried to reach out before you jerked away.
"Enjoy your night." You said, grabbing your purse where you had left it by the sink. "I'm going to go home and wallow in my self pity." You exited the bathroom, hearing your named called again before shifting it into gear and getting the fuck out of there.
Weaving through the sea of bodies like water flowing around rocks.
Who the fuck cares if you want to cry? To grieve? To be angry? To get closure? To move on? Who cares if you don't want to be the girl who gets her heart shattered and not fuck somone else? Who wants to feel the comfort of a familiar body, a touch that feels safe one last time before you go back into a world where you will only be touched by a stranger?
It didn't matter that you were the one to breakup with them, even if the relationship was broken. It's foundation cracked.
What did matter is that the people who should have supported you and in the way you were dealing with your loss in your own way, didn't. And that's the part that they seem to forget. It is a loss. It's mourning someone who hasn't died. Someone who is still living, yet still no longer there.
"Off already?" Percy cut in the way, blocking your escape. You weren't in the mood.
"Listen-" you started before he cut you off.
"Not anything romantic, I know," he raised his hands as if in defense, "but maybe like another drink or a dance?"
You closed your eyes, wanting to hold off starting a scene and tearing him a new asshole. "Like I said, not. interested." How much clearer could you spell it out?
"Come on." He said, his hand coming to rest on your hip. The grip on it weak. You were by no means the type of woman that could take on a man like the ones you still held in a chamber of your heart. But you could most certainly handle your own against Percival. "I'm asking for a dance. After what Meredith told me, I figured you'd be down for at a little more than that."
"I don't follow." Your blood ran cold. Your heart praying that any assumptions that were running through your mind were wrong, they were wrong.
"She mentioned you having a group of like guys you fucked, but stopped fucking." He shrugged, offering a coy smile that you ached to wipe off with the back of your hand. "I don't judge. It's kind of hot honest. Did they run train or-" You felt it then. His hand had traveled from your hip to the curve of your ass.
And you froze. You froze like a coward. Too afraid to speak or scream. Too ashamed to push him away, cause a scene.
But you didn't need to do any of that.
In an instant, Percy's hand was off of you. It took you a moment to realize that a figure dressed in black stood beside you. Your own personal grim reaper.
"Put him go!" You pleaded, breaking out of your trance. You took hold of his arm putting all of your body weight on his arm, trying to break his hold. He didn't falter.
You could handle you own against Percy.
But Simon could fucking kill him without breaking a sweat.
You looked at Simon's face. His eyes were darkened. The soft brown you had once loved staring into were now almost black. You could even make out the dark circles, even in the unsettling flickering of strobe lights in the club.
"You touch her again and I'll slit your fucking throat. Understood?" Pure venom fell from Simon's lips, but you knew he wasn't lying. Simon was the type of man who didn't say something he didn't mean.
You knew that all too well.
Percy choked out an ineligible, gurgled response as Simon's hand held firm on his throat. "He understands, goddammit, no let him down!" You ordered hitting at him as if it would stop him. "Simon, please!"
It was only when you said his name, did Simon loosen his grip. Letting Percy drop to a heap on the floor before he started a having a coughing fit, trying to suck in as much air as he could.
Simon looked down at you and the exit before scooping you up and hauling you over his shoulder like a sack of flower.
You wanted to die. You wanted to crawl in a hole and die and never show your face again.
"Get in the car." He at least had the decency to open the door for you. Simon wasn't a flashy man, by any means, but he was still a man. A men did love their cars.
He stood, waiting for you but you didn't move. You glared up at him. He had carried you out of there in the most humiliating way possible. You had to fight against the hemline of your dress or else everyone would have gotten an eyeful.
Hand still on the door, he leaned down, getting closer and closer to your height. "You get your ass in this car right now," his breath warm against your ear. "Or I'll have you over my fuckin' knee." His tone was sharp. It wasn't seduction in form of a threat. It wasn't even a threat.
It was a promise.
"We're over." You reminded.
"Do you think that'll fuckin' stop me from spankin' some sense into your bratty ass?"
"It doesn't give you the right to fucking do that to people, Simon!" You huffed. "You could have killed in."
"Could have," he agreed. "But didn't. You're welcome." he nodded toward the car. "Now, in you go or I'll do it here. You already know I don't mind an audience."
The heated seats were a bit to warm for your liking against your bare ass. The tension in the air was uncomfortable. Your hands ached to touch the radio. Anything to stop the silence between the two of you.
"I got home fine the other night by the way." You said, looking out the window, hoping to make him feel like shit for not checking in like he should have.
"I know you did."
"What do you mean you know I did?" You asked, turning to look at him. He shrugged as if it wasn't anything out of the ordinary, not stopping.
"Just did." Was his only answer.
"Are you fucking stalking me, Riley?" That made him laugh. You would have felt better if there was at least a sense of humor in it, but, instead, only disbelief.
"Oh, Riley now, is it?" He asked.
"You're not my body guard, Simon." You snapped.
"Not trying to be," he said. "I was never trying to be." You caught it. A very small slip, but it was something... something you couldn't place.
"Then why?" You ask, your tone softening. "For someone who makes it very apparent to be done with me, you sure do show up at convenient times. Hard not to think your keeping tabs on me."
He didn't say anything. No explanation or excuse. Not evena smart ass comeback or remark.
His hands reached forward and turned on the radio, turning the volume just loud enough that if you were to try and continue the conversation, your words would be drowned out.
He pulled up in front of your building, yet you made no move to get out. You turned off the radio, soaking in the silence once more. You wanted to know why? Why was he appearing out of nowhere like a fucking ghost? Why was he helping you?
He sighed before putting the car in park and stepping out. Coming around to your side he opened the door. "Get inside. Go to bed." There he was again. Fucking bossing you around as if he still had a say.
You wanted to cuss him out. To spew hateful words just as he did you.
But you didn't.
You were tired.
So fucking tired. And the idea of going to bed did sound pretty good in that moment. You made it to the door of your building before he spoke again. "And if you need to out at this time at night call a goddamn cab."
"Why?" You asked, turning around. "Getting tired of having to follow me around on foot, Si?"
There was a pregnant pause. Neither of you speaking. His body shifted forward, as if contemplating getting closer to you. As if the pull you once had was still there.
With his eyes trained on you, you felt a chill run down your spine. Twice you had seen that look on Simon's face before. The look that he had given the figures concealed in the shadows last night. The same look he had given Percy.
Only this time, it was directed at you.
One that personified the saying, 'if looks could kill.'
"Because," he growled out, "the next time I find someone else touching you that way, I'll fucking kill them."

Honey love, dark eyes
⥠Chapter one âĄ
Summary: Itâs Joelâs birthday, your best friend. As usual, you and Sarah are getting everything ready to celebrate, just like you have for years. However, while preparing dinner before Joel gets home from work, Sarah tells you that her dad has been seeing a mysterious woman for the past couple of weeks. This wouldnât be an issue, except heâs been deliberately hiding it from you, even going out of his way to lie about it.
Though you try to keep your anger in check to avoid ruining his birthday, your emotions get the better of you later that night when itâs just the two of you. Joel doesnât hold back either, sparking a heated argument that pushes you both further than ever before.
Word count: 9.4K
A/N: Okay, I was planning for the first chapter to be 4K words MAX, but my imagination went crazy with this lol I really hope you like it. I really enjoyed writing this <3 warning: ANGST! don't forget to leave feedback, tell me what you think!
If you want to be on the tag list, let me know too.
You met him on the night of your twenty-second birthday, at the small party Cassie had put together for you in her dimly lit apartment. You hadnât wanted much of a celebration, nothing bigger than a few close friends, and certainly not a group of strangers. But when Brianna swept in, holding hands with a man you didnât know, and introduced him as her boyfriend, you felt a vague flicker of annoyance, the kind that accompanies unmet expectations.
"I thought it was just going to be us," you mumbled to Cassie, catching her in the kitchen as she poured herself another glass of wine.
She looked at you, her cheeks already flushed, eyes bright. "They're a few of my friends, too; theyâre niceâyouâll like them if you give it a chance." She smiled, urging you to relax, as though she could tease you out of your mood. "Itâs your birthday; donât be so sullen."
"I didnât know Brianna was bringing her boyfriend," you said quietly, as Cassie started back to the living room.
She paused, giving you a half-smile over her shoulder. "Neither did I, actually," she admitted, lowering her voice. "Apparently, they've been together for about a month. Sheâs really into him."
And she was. Brianna clung to him all night, her laughter spilling out freely, unrestrained and buoyant from the wine. It wasnât long before someone suggested karaoke, and as voices rang out in the next room, you slipped quietly back into the kitchen, craving a moment of solitude. You were surprised to find Briannaâs boyfriend there, leaning against the counter, scrolling absently through his phone with a glass of water in hand.
He looked up, straightened, and offered you a tentative smile. âOh, hi. Happy birthday,â he said, his voice warm but reserved. âSorry, I didnât get a chance to say it earlierâŚâ
âNo worries,â you replied, your tone reassuring. âThanks.â
He hesitated, as though weighing what to say next. âAre you having a good time?â
You gave a slight shrug. âItâsâŚâ but before you could finish, he cut in with a knowing smile.
âItâs okay. I donât love my birthday either.â His eyes glinted in the soft kitchen light, and you felt a small smile tugging at your own lips.
You looked at him then, really looked at him, allowing yourself the indulgence. âI didnât want to admit it,â you said, feeling the faintest hint of heat rising to your cheeks. âWhat was your name again?â
âJoel,â he answered, his gaze drifting briefly back to his phone. âSorry, Iâm a little on edge tonight. Left my daughter with a new babysitter. I think sheâs having a rough time.â
Your eyebrows rose in mild surprise; you hadnât pegged him as a dad. You moved closer, pouring yourself a glass of orange juice and asked, âHow old is she?â
âFour. Her nameâs Sarah.â He ran a hand through his hair, and you could tell he was tense. âItâs only the second time sheâs been with this sitter, and apparently, sheâs been crying all evening.â
âOh, poor thing,â you murmured sympathetically. âSheâs little. Changes like that must be hard on her.â
He sighed, his gaze drifting to the side as he typed something quickly on his phone. âI should probably get going. Brianna wonât love that idea; weâd planned to stay outâŚâ He paused, eyes flicking up to meet yours, worry etched across his face. âYou think sheâll be too mad?â
âNo,â you assured him, though you knew Brianna wouldnât be pleased. âGo be with your daughter. Sheâs little; she needs you. Brianna will understand.â
A grateful smile spread across Joelâs face, and for the first time, you noticed the faint dimple on his cheek. For a fleeting second, you wanted to reach out, trace it with your thumb.
âThanks,â he murmured, his eyes lingering on you in a way that felt unintentional, yet steady. âI hope your night gets better once karaoke is over,â he added with a quiet laugh. "Wish me luck."
You chuckled, meeting his gaze. âGood luck, Joel.â
He left with that same soft smile, and you watched him go, his warm brown eyes leaving an odd impression, like an unclaimed memory. And, as expected, Brianna didnât understand. She spent the rest of the night sulking, casting sharp words at Joel through her bitterness.
âYou knew he had a daughter when you got with him, this was bound to happen at some point,â Cassie told her, fed up with the other's complaints.
You didn't hear the answer, as you were distracted by watching the colorful pictures someone had put on the television.
You heard nothing more from Joel for a couple of weeks, until Cassie blurted out the gossip one morning while you were having lunch at her house.
âHe broke up with her,â she began to tell you. âHe told her she wasn't being empathetic and that he couldn't drop everything to party with her as if they had no responsibilities.â
It was no surprise. Brianna was a woman who lived at night; she was twenty-three years old and enjoyed it with the freedom that was rightfully hers. You couldn't blame her for wanting to have fun with her boyfriend. But Joel lived a very different reality than she did; at twenty-eight, he had a daughter to take care of, routines to follow, and a lot of work to do.
Although you thought it would take her longer to get over him, it wasn't long before she met a guy at her gym and got into it with him, outgrowing Joel in a matter of days. But for some reason, Joelâs warm, steady gaze stayed with you, like a whisper that hadnât fully faded.
Years passed quietly, slipping through your fingers like sand until, suddenly, it was your twenty-sixth birthday. This time, the scene was different: youâd moved into your own place just two days earlier, and there was little thought of celebrating. Instead, the weekend found you alone, arranging your things and attempting to bring order to the chaos of a new home.
It was a crisp Saturday morning, and you stood in your front yard with a glass of fresh-squeezed orange juice in hand, humming along to some eighties tune drifting in from the living room. The songâone of those upbeat ones that made even housework feel lightâhad lifted your spirits, and you moved rhythmically as you pushed plastic flowers into the dirt along the front path, sending little puffs of air to make the petals flutter.
You were lost in your task when you heard soft footsteps behind you, instinctively making you turn.
âOh, hello,â you said, quickly masking the slight surprise the girlâs sudden appearance had given you.
She looked at you with wide, curious eyes, seemingly unfazed by her solo adventure.
âHi. Whatâs your name? Do you live here?â she asked, her gaze shifting from your face to the flowers in your hands.
Glancing around for any sign of her parents, you noted her relaxed stance, like sheâd been coming here all her life. Smiling, you nodded and gave her your name. âYep, I just moved in.â
She looked unimpressed. âThis house was empty for a while. I didnât like the kid who lived here before. He was a pain in the assââ
âSarah!â came a sharp voice from behind, making you jump slightly. Heavy footsteps approached, and you squinted against the sun to see a figure striding toward you, his features obscured by the bright morning light.
When he stepped closer, his face came into focus, and your breath caught. You knew him.
âSarah, you canât just leave the house like that,â he said sternly, a furrow in his brow, his tone more parental than reproachful.
He turned to you, and the scowl softened as recognition dawned.
âJoel,â you murmured, the name slipping out before you even meant to say it aloud.
His expression shifted into a surprised smile, and that was all it took to break the ice between you. You explained that youâd just moved in and were still settling. Joel offered to help with anything you needed, including taking a look around the house to ensure everything was in order. He formally introduced you to Sarah, now eight years old, who had nearly scared him to death by sneaking out. She had his same lively spark in her eyes, a brightness that seemed familiar.
That evening, Sarah invited you to dinner with them, leaving Joel with little choice but to agree. And one dinner became many, as evenings blurred into weekends, and you found Joelâs presence in your life weaving into something inseparable from your routine. He started popping by to help with small projects, fixing kitchen cabinets or adjusting the wobbly front steps, visits stretching into movie marathons or lazy conversations with cold beer in hand. Days flowed into evenings of chatting over the meals you cooked to share with Sarah, and sometimes her uncle Tommy. Though Joel claimed he was no cook, his barbecues were legendary, and you couldnât deny you looked forward to them most of all. And soon enough, he was there for everything, from driving you to doctorâs appointments to accompanying you on those grocery runs he pretended to hate. He even started showing up early on days he knew youâd need a ride. Over time, he became the best friend youâd ever had, a safe place, someone who felt like family. With everyone else scatteredâCassie overseas, old friends moved awayâJoel became your rock.
It wasnât something you dared to admit to yourself often, but you couldnât imagine your life without him. And maybe thatâs why you never allowed yourself to voice those little fleeting thoughts, the ones that flitted through your mind every now and then: how safe you felt whenever he threw his arm around your shoulders, or how good he looked reclining on his couch after a long day. Or how perfect it felt when the three of youâSarah dozing on his lap, you leaning into his shoulderâsat together in the warm silence of a Sunday afternoon. There was an ache, too, a quiet pang whenever he mentioned another woman. Thankfully, that was rare; Joel once told you, with a shrug, that he âwasnât really looking for that sort of thing.â
Sometimes, you watched him carefully as you talked about your own dates, hoping to catch a glimmer of jealousy in his gaze, some subtle cue that maybe he felt the same way. But there was never anything you wanted to see, and you always felt silly for looking. So, you buried it all. The risk of ruining things with Joel wasnât worth the confession.
One afternoon, however, your emotions almost escaped your eyes when, while preparing Joel's birthday cake, Sarah dropped a piece of news that caught you off guard. She told you, with her usual nonchalance, that Joel had gone out the night before with someone new.
âYeah, itâs like⌠the third time theyâve gone out,â Sarah mentioned while spreading cream on the sponge cake. âI donât know her name or anything, just that he met her in line at the bank,â a laugh choked in her throat, amused at imagining her father flirting with some woman in a public space.
You forced a smile, laughing along like it was funny.
"And who stayed with you last night?â you asked, trying to keep your tone casual.
Not that Sarah was necessarily a baby; she was already twelve and extremely independent. But Joel never left her alone if he went out for the night, he knew how much she loved spending time with you watching movies and eating junk food. Then, when he arrived, you would pester him with gossipy questions and he would pretend to get angry and then answer every one of them.
âUncle Tommy," she said, eyeing her work with satisfaction. âWe had fun, but I kinda wished youâd come too. Hey, what do you think?â she fingered the cream neatly arranged with the angled knife.
âIt's perfect,â you smiled at her, not waiting too long to ask the question you wanted so badly. âWhy didn't you call me then?â
Sarah started sprinkling colorful sprinkles on top of the cream and looked at you for a second when she noticed the tone in your voice at the last word. She didn't seem to think much of it.
âYou were busy, weren't you? Dad said you had something to do.â
Her answer hit you like a small weight to the chest. Joel had purposefully left you out. Heâd even made an excuse for Sarahâs benefit. So, there had been three datesâthree times heâd kept this woman a secret. A small knot formed in your stomach as you forced yourself to smile, still watching Sarah as she concentrated on the last of the sprinkles.
In the kitchen, you were running your hand through the steam from the beef stew on the stoveâJoelâs favoriteâwhen the door opened. His footsteps grew louder, approaching, and you nervously adjusted the dress youâd chosen, one you knew he liked, though heâd never said it. It was your favorite too, a cream-colored sundress with delicate shoulder ties.
Sarah sprang forward, covering his eyes. âDonât look, the tableâs not ready.â
You hurried to set the glasses in their places, your hands a little shaky as you moved, hoping he wouldnât notice the flush creeping up your cheeks.
âI donât need to see itâI can smell it, and it smells incredible,â Joel grinned beneath Sarahâs tiny hands, which sheâd plastered over his eyes, half to keep him from sneaking a glance, half just because she could.
âToo bad you donât smell incredible,â Sarah retorted with a smirk, wrinkling her nose. "Go take a shower!"
You laughed, catching Joelâs raised brow at her.
âYouâve got five minutes,â you said, placing the lid on the simmering pot.
Joel snorted, brushing Sarahâs hands away from his face.
âThatâs the smell of a hardworking man,â he replied, feigning offense as he turned for the stairs. âYâall oughtta know.â
*
Later, the three of you sat around the table, and Joel took his first bite of the stew, eyes widening, a kind of bliss washing over his face. He tossed his head back and groaned.
âSweet Glory,â he mumbled, closing his eyes. âThank you for this.â
âOh, come on,â you teased, though part of you couldnât help but feel a pang of something between irritation and flattery. âYou say that every time I cook for you.â
He shook his head, smiling as he chewed, then spoke softly, his gaze slipping downward.
âIâm not exaggeratingâI love everything you do.â A pause, and then a quick, awkward clarification. âI mean, everything you cook.â
The clarification was like a line drawn in the sand, a boundary etched by his voice alone.
You smiled weakly and inwardly thankful when Sarah spoke, telling you about something that had happened at her school that week and distracting you from the question that was spellbinding your tongue. You were dying to ask it, to look him in the eye and ask: who did you go out with last night? Why didn't you tell me? Is it someone I know? Is that it?... But you didn't, you stayed quiet and participated in the pleasant conversation, celebrating his birthday as he deserved. After all, no matter how much it angered you that he kept things from you, it was still his special day.
After dinner, Sarah forced Joel to sit in front of his cake, two lit number candles glowing in front of him. You turned out the lights, watching as the light from the flames reflected beautifully in your best friend's dark pupils.
Joel was wearing a black T-shirt and dark jeans, his hair was still barely damp from the shower he'd taken before, and his sun-kissed tan face looked smooth, decorated by the beard and mustache you loved so much. Behind him, his shadow vibrated and spread across the wall with grandeur.
âMake a wish!â Sarah cheered, bouncing with excitement as she placed her small hands on his shoulders.
Joel smiled, closed his eyes, and blew out the candles. In the dimness, you leaned in and kissed his cheek softly.
âHappy birthday, old man,â you whispered, your hand resting gently on his neck.
He reached for your hand, pressing a warm, lingering kiss into your palm. âIâm not that old,â he muttered with a mock frown.
Sarah giggled, holding a knife to cut the cake and licking a dab of frosting from her thumb. âYouâll be forty in four years,â she teased, catching your amused expression.
Joel scoffed, scratching his stomach as he stood back up, turning to you with a smile that made you forget, just for a moment, all the questions you were holding back. There was only Joel, his rumbling laugh, Sarahâs delighted giggles. It felt like home.
Sarah gave him his gift first: a copy of Curtis and Viper 2 with the deleted scenes and a mystery box. When he opened it, a smile formed on his lips.
He pulled out a weathered wristwatch, broken for months, now polished and repaired.
âI took it in to be fixed. Do you like it?â Sarah asked, eyes wide with anticipation.
Joel nodded, eyes softening as he extended his wrist for her to put it on. âItâs perfect, baby.â
âLet's watch the movie later,â Sarah said. âYou can't fall asleep.â
âLet's see which one of us falls asleep first,â you joked, and you were right. Joel had been working all afternoon and Sarah had been yawning for hours.
You turned and picked up the box resting beside your feet, handing it to him. When he opened it, Joel pulled out a black cloth garment and a paper envelope. He tugged at the cloth, revealing a thick, soft jacket. He read the label and a smile appeared on his lips.
âI saw it and thought of you,â you said, mimicking his gesture.
âHow much did you pay for this?â
âDon't worry about it, it had to be yours,â you noted as you stood up and took it from his hand. âHere, stand up. Let's see how it fits you.â
âAnd what if it doesn't fit? Do we have to travel to Rome to exchange it?â
You laughed, then helped him slide it over his shoulders, a comfortable, familiar movement.
âI know you by heart, I couldn't be wrong.â
âSo?â he asked, smiling coquettishly. Your stomach tingled and you decided to ignore it.
âLookinâ good, Dad,â Sarah chimed in, her innocent smile lighting up the moment. âBet someone special will love it, too.â
Joel smiled weakly, as if he was trying to tell her something with his eyes, and for a second you hated the thought of your gift being enjoyed by someone else. You imagined him getting ready to go out with her -whoever she was-, running his hand through his hair and perfuming his neck as he did from time to time whenever he went out with someone. You knew that perfume perfectly, you'd recognize it anywhere, though you were sure it wouldn't smell the same on anyone else. Joel added his own scent to it, and you loved it.
âOkay, now, open the envelope,â you urged, your voice unintentionally sharper than you meant.
Joel sat back down and opened the blue paper envelope. He read the note carefully and when he looked up, you and Sarah were looking at him excitedly.
âSunshine, did you pay for this?â he asked you, a soft disbelief in his tone.
Inside were three plane tickets. Sarah had helped you pick the destinationâsomewhere none of you had been but would love.
When you nodded, he let out a soft sigh. âLet me cover part of it.â
You groaned, rolling your eyes. âItâs my birthday gift to you, Joel. Itâs all settled. You need a vacation, and we certainly do too, don't we?â
âThat's right,â Sarah confirmed, smiling complicitly.
He sighed, shaking his head. âYouâre too good to me.â
But he smiled, tucking the tickets back into the envelope.
Time with Joel and Sarah was easy. When you were with them, hours slipped away, and the heaviness of everything else seemed to dissolve. You felt at home, and sometimes it left you wondering about Sarahâs mother, about how anyone could have left them. Didnât she see how extraordinary they were? Didnât she realize what sheâd lost?
You thought about this as you relaxed on the couch beside Joel, Sarah curled up with her head on your shoulder. Her breathing had slowed, and you smiled, realizing sheâd fallen asleep. Three glasses sat on the coffee table: the wine Joel had opened just before dinnerâa bottle youâd brought back from your last trip to Italyâand Sarahâs lemon soda. Joel snorted softly, glancing at his daughter with a smirk, then leaned over and pressed a kiss to her forehead.
âFallen soldier,â he whispered, smiling.
You laughed, brushing a hand over Sarahâs hair. âSheâs tired. She was up all afternoon making your cake, you know? Tried the cream three times before she got it right.â
Joel sighed, an apologetic note in his voice. âI know, sorry I was late. I know she wanted me here sooner.â
Curtis and Viper 2Â was halfway through on the TV, forgotten in the background. Joel straightened, signaling heâd take Sarah to bed, and you shifted to make room as he lifted her, carrying her toward the stairs. You watched him disappear down the hallway, and as the house fell into a quiet lull, that familiar disappointment stirred in your chest. Now, without Sarahâs chatter, youâd have to keep pretending that nothing was wrong.
You took a long sip of your wine, finishing off the glass just as Joel returned. He sat down heavily beside you, causing the cushions to sink as he let out a sigh, rubbing a hand over his eyes before giving you a grateful look.
âThanks for today, I had a great time. Sarah was very happy,â he said quietly, a warm smile appearing on his lips.
âI'm glad, hun. Although the credit goes to her, I just made dinner.â
âDoesnât matter. You helped her, and Iâm grateful. I mean that. For today, and for⌠all these years.â His voice softened, almost reverent.
âYou donât have to thank me,â you whispered, feeling your pulse pick up as he leaned closer, his brown eyes unreadable but soft. âYouâre my family, both of you. Really, Iâm the one who owes you thanks.â
He shook his head and leaned back, taking another sip of his wine.
âNot at all,â he replied, leaning back again.
You watched him for a moment, turning the weight of your question over in your mind. If you said something, heâd make an excuse. If you kept silent, the doubt would eat at you. You tried to fix your gaze on the TV, on anything other than his profile in the dim room. But the words slipped out of your mouth before you could stop yourself.
âSo, what did you do last night?â
He tensed beside you, so subtly that only you couldâve noticed. âWhat?â
You tried to keep your tone even, hoping you didnât sound like youâd spent all day thinking about it. âI just⌠didnât see your truck out there, thought maybe you were gone or something.â It was a lie; you had fallen asleep on your couch last night, you hadn't even noticed Joel was gone.
Joel seemed to measure his words carefully. âOh. Yeah⌠I just went out for a beer with Tommy,â he answered, his tone a little too casual.
Heat crept up your face, disbelief taking root. He really was holding out on you for some reason, wasn't he? The man was lying to you, and not very cleverly. Tommy had been with Sarah, what if you had seen him, hadn't he thought of that? Apparently not.Â
It took a moment before you could bring yourself to say anything, watching as he glanced at you with an uneasy smile, waiting for you to believe him.
âJoel,â you murmured, not quite able to keep the accusation out of your voice. âYouâre lying to me.â
He gave a nervous laugh, rubbing the back of his neck, but you didnât let him off so easily. Before he could say anything, you spoke again.
âTommy was with Sarah last night, here,â you pointed out, your voice firmer this time. His silence told you everything, his face drawn and uncertain as he realized youâd caught him.
After a long pause, he looked down, his voice unusually flat. âAlright, yeah. I know.â
The admission was so casual it took you by surprise, but you shook your head, feeling the ache of frustration and betrayal creep in.
âWhy would you lie to me?â you pressed. âWeâre friends. Why wouldnât you tell me youâre seeing someone?â
Joel sighed, avoiding your gaze, his eyes instead locked somewhere in the distance. âItâs⌠itâs nothing serious,â he mumbled. âJust getting to know her. Don't make such a fuss out of it.â
âWhat? what you're saying doesn't make sense. Youâve kept it hidden, avoided every chance to be honest about it. Why?â you asked, trying not to let the hurt seep into your voice.
âItâs not like that,â he insisted, but his voice sounded unsure.
âSo if I call Tommy right now, heâll tell me the truth? Or did you ask him to keep this from me too?â
Finally, he met your gaze, his eyes scanning your face, reading the frustration and hurt youâd tried to keep buried. You could see it in his eyes, that familiar tug of defiance, a flash of something deeper than guilt or secrecy.
âWhat if I did?â His voice was almost philosophical, his gaze intense and challenging. âThis is my private life. I donât have to explain myself to anyone, not even you. Do I?â
You drew in a sharp breath. His words struck like a slap, but you steadied yourself. âYouâre right, Joel. You donât owe me explanations. But you donât have to lie to me, either.â You looked down, feeling your voice start to waver. âYouâve never hidden your relationships from me before.â
He sighed, scrubbing his hands over his face and slumping back against the couch.
After a few seconds, he finally looked at you, a look of exasperation crossing his face.
âBecause of this.â He gestured between you, his tone gentle but firm. âThis reaction, right here, is exactly why I didnât tell you.â
What Joel was saying didnât make sense. Your frustration wasnât over him seeing someone else; it was something else entirely, something more fundamental.
âOh, just stop,â you snapped, voice sharp. âIâm not mad because youâre dating someone, Joel. Iâm mad that you lied to me. Theyâre two completely different things.â
He took a breath, settling back on the couch, and turned to face you, a guarded expression crossing his face. âNo, itâs always the same thing. Remember the last time I was seeing someone?â
And you did, briefly. A year ago, one of his friends had introduced him to his cousinâa woman who had just moved to town. She was polite enough, but her smiles had a brittle quality to them, and when she met Sarah, her warmth never extended beyond a single, dismissive greeting. The indifference was obvious, at least to you, and maybe youâd let that show a little too openly. Joel had caught on quickly, and after that, things with her fizzled out.
âThat was different,â you argued, exasperated. âShe wasnât nice, Joel. She had zero interest in Sarah.â
He gave a bitter, half-smile. âMaybe, but it wasnât your job to manage that. I can handle my own relationships. But you alwaysââ he paused, thumping his chest with a finger, âyou always step in. Always get defensive.â
âThatâs not true!â Your voice rose as anger crept in, heating your face. âYouâre just making excuses. Date whoever you want, Joel, I donât care. But donât lie to me, donât insult me with these flimsy excuses. Or if youâre going to lie, at least make it convincing.â
He clenched his jaw, his gaze hardening, something fierce sparking in his eyes. âAre you sure about that?â he asked, his voice low and measured, the words hanging between you like a dare.
âSure about what?â Your brow creased in confusion, the pulse in your chest picking up, a flurry of anger and⌠something else you couldnât place, mingling with the haze of the wine.
His eyes narrowed, holding yours, unflinching. âThat you donât care. Thatâs what this is about, isnât it? Because I know you, i know you to well to know youâre just jealous.â
Jealous. He thought you were jealous.
He had missed the point completely. Your feelings for him were complex, that much was true. But you had learned, or thought you had learned, to carry them quietly. Your friendship with him had come to feel like a sturdy house you could live inside without having to ask too much of it. Having him in your life was enough.
But now, you felt that house shift, cracks spreading through the walls. His inability to trust you hurt more deeply than youâd expected. The openness youâd once trusted was fracturing. You felt the sting of tears prick at your eyes, the words heâd thrown out so casually cutting to the quick.
âFuck you, Joel,â you muttered, standing abruptly, storming to the door and slamming it shut behind you. You barely heard him call your name as you left, fury driving you down the front steps, the cool night air biting at your cheeks.
Honestly, he could go fuck himself.
Just as your hand reached your front door, his footsteps closed in behind you, his strides fast enough to catch up. You tried to close the door before he could reach you, but his hand caught it just in time, his voice heavy with irritation.
âJust go away, Joel,â you said, barely glancing at him. âI donât want to see you again.â
âThatâs not true, and you know it.â His voice was calm, almost pleading.
You stepped back, reluctantly letting him into the foyer. Heâd have come in anyway.
âI mean it, God. Go home,â you insisted, your voice wavering, betraying the anger mixed with something else.
He shook his head, taking a few steps closer, his jaw tight. âCan we just talk?â
âTalk?â you repeated incredulously. âTalk about what? About how wrong you are?â
He didnât flinch, but his eyes darkened. âDonât act like what I said was crazy,â he said, voice steady but a little sharper now.
You scoffed, throwing your hands up. âOh, so now Iâm jealous, is that it? Then, by your logic, you mustâve been jealous too, right? Like last month, when Travis asked me out. Because if thatâs the case, then weâre having the same conversation, arenât we?â
Joel clicked his tongue, tilting his head with an exaggerated sigh. âNo, Travis is just a jerk. And I donât like him, plain and simple.â
Travis Dunn, your neighbor, had moved in a few months after you did. Handsome, tall, and friendly, everyone on the street adored himâeveryone except Joel. He couldnât seem to stand him, though Travis was always polite to him.
Last month, when Travis had asked you out, Joel had practically laughed in your face when you told him about it, muttering something dismissive as if the very idea was absurd. Youâd told Travis you were busy, though deep down you knew the real reason you hadnât accepted was because of Joelâs disapproval.
You shook your head, exasperated. âTravis isnât a jerk, Joel, you just donât like him. Heâs nice, honestly, much nicer than some people, if weâre being honest here. Everyone loves him; youâre the only one who has a problem with him.â
âThen everyoneâs as much of an idiot as he is, sunshine.â
âOh, really? Or maybe⌠youâre jealous of him?â Your tone was teasing, but you felt the shift as soon as you said it.
Joelâs mouth twitched in a half-smile, but the humor didnât reach his eyes. He ran his tongue over his lips, shaking his head slowly, twice.
âDonât turn this on me,â he said. âThis isnât about Travis or me.â
âNo?â you shot back, voice edged with challenge. âSo if I go tomorrow and say yes to him, that wouldnât bother you at all, right?â
He stepped closer to you, his eyes dark with something youâd never seen in him before. The air seemed to thicken, his presence so intense it felt as though it wrapped around you. He leaned in, his face close enough that his words brushed your skin.
âYou can do whatever you want, baby. Itâs your fucking life.â
âAnd you can do whatever you want too, Joel. Thatâs the fucking point!â you nearly shouted, hands pushing against his shoulders, shoving him away. âI donât care what you do! Itâs already clear you donât get it, you donât get anything, ANYTHING!â
Joel staggered back for a split second, but it wasnât long before he closed the distance again, though he didnât get as close this time.
His voice was lower, a thread of something hard in his tone. âIf youâre so insulted by the idea of being jealous, maybe thatâs something for you to think about. Ever thought of doing a little introspection?â
âAre you drunk, Joel?â you asked, eyes narrowed, softening your voice a fraction. The argument was exhausting you, and the anger left you feeling hollow.
He laughed, an odd, choked sound. âOh, c'mon, you know one bottle of wine ain't enough to get me drunk.â
âYeah, but youâre tired, and youâre not exactly young, Joel,â you said, brushing past him, his gaze glued to you the entire time. âAlcohol hits you differently now. Just go home, leave me alone.â
âFine. Iâll leave you alone, and maybe then you can run across the street and fuck Travis Dunn, if you want it so badly,â he shot back, impatience tinging his voice as he turned toward the still-open door.
The words hit you like a slap. You froze for a moment, the anger washing over you in a wave. Before you could think twice, you rushed up to him, gripping his arm tightly to force him to turn and look at you.
âWhat the hell did you just say, Joel?â you hissed, grabbing his shirt, fingers bunching in the fabric as you backed him up until his shoulders hit the wall by the door. âGo on, say it again!â
Your breaths came fast, chest rising and falling as the rush of anger pushed tears to your eyes. You couldnât believe heâd actually spoken to you like that, cutting right through to something raw and vulnerable. Heâd never spoken to you like that before. Maybe he was a little drunk, or maybe he was losing his mind.
But there was no softness in his gaze, no hint of the Joel you knew. His stare was sharp, almost wild with something simmering underneath, something you didnât understand. To you, this whole argument made no sense, at least not his reaction.
Joelâs grip on your wrist was firm, almost grounding, as he pulled you closer, pressing your palm against his chest. âI canât stand that asshole, but go ahead and fuck him if you want,â he spat, voice laced with frustration. âGo fuck the whole neighborhood while youâre at it. I really donât care anymore.â
His words were harsh, designed to cut, but they only drew a laugh from youâsharp and derisive. A tear slipped down your cheek, uninvited.
âWhat, did you ever care?â you asked, your voice trembling on the last syllable, thick with emotion.
But Joel didnât respond, and the silence ignited a fire in you, something that swirled beneath the surface, ready to boil over.
âDo you know why weâre friends, Joel?â Your pulse quickened, each beat like a drum in your ears. âBecause it just works between us. There are no ulterior motives. You know why? Because I donât like you like that. Youâre not even my type, and you never will be. And no, Iâm not jealous that youâre dating some woman youâll probably dump in less than a month, so get the fuck over it and leave me the fuck alone!â
You watched as his gaze flickered between your eyes, uncertainty warring with something darker. Suddenly, with an unexpected strength, Joel tightened his grip on your wrist and pushed you back hard against the wall. The impact knocked the breath from your lungs, leaving you gasping as your back hit the unforgiving surface.
His expression had transformed, those deep, dark eyes piercing you like arrows. His breath quickened, crashing against your face, and you could feel your lower lip tremble as he pressed even closer, pinning you against the wall.
âYou donât know how to lie,â he murmured, his lips almost brushing against your cheek.
The sensation was unbearable; his body pressed against yours, heat radiating off him and melting you inside. You could feel the edge of something primal, something that could tip either way. But suddenly, clarity surged through you. With a burst of strength, you pushed him away, breaking free from his grasp, forcing him to pull back just enough for you to gasp for air.
But the distance felt worse. In his eyes, you recognized something youâd never seen beforeâdesire, raw and unfiltered. It clawed at you, igniting an inexplicable need. A sigh escaped your lips, and like a match struck in a dark room, it was enough to set off an explosion. In an instant, Joel lunged at you, and you found yourself wrapped around him, mouths colliding in a desperate kiss filled with moans and the urgency of your racing hearts.
With a loud thud, Joel kicked the front door shut, his hands moving feverishly down your body, fingers skimming your thighs, slipping beneath your dress. He caressed your skin before squeezing your ass hard, drawing a moan from your lips that echoed in the small space between you. You clung to him tighter, his hands fitting around you as if they were made for this very moment.
He pulled back for a breath, the sound wet and chaotic against the walls of your home, and then his lips descended down your neck, unraveling what little sanity you had left. A moan rumbled in his throat as your hands tangled in his hair, tugging gently to tilt your head back, giving him better access to the tender spot just below your ear, your blood pulsing beneath his hungry mouth.
Joel seemed to want to devour you whole; his hands roamed erratically, trembling as his mouth kissed and bit your jaw, pressing your bodies together in a way that felt impossibly intimate. When you lifted your right leg and wrapped it around his side, he was quick to respond, hands securing your thighs, lifting you effortlessly onto his hips, burying his face against your chest.
Another moan escaped you, and he pulled you down just enough to find your lips again. âJoel,â you whispered, breathless as you parted from him, pressing your forehead against his, eyes searching his.
âTell me to stop and I will,â he said, his voice low, almost broken, each word laced with a vulnerability youâd never heard from him before. âDo you want me to stop?â
âNo,â you replied in a small, desperate cry, feeling the heat radiating from him, the thin fabric of your underwear igniting a fire deep within you.
You were dying of thirst, and he had just asked you if you would refuse a sip of water. Was he mad? You wanted to drink it all.Â
No sooner had you answered than Joel pulled you off the wall, striding toward the stairs with a confident grace. You lowered your legs cautiously, meeting his lips again in a frantic, wet kiss, his tongue exploring your mouth with urgency.
You walked to your room with the agility of one who knows where to step, and once inside, you grabbed the shirt you had angrily grabbed earlier and lifted it up his body in a desperate attempt to rip it off. Joel raised his arms, letting the fabric pass over both of you and then fall to the floor, and as quickly as your hands returned to his chest, he kissed your neck again, desperate, pressing his fingers into the tender flesh of your waist, seeking a physically impossible closeness.Â
His hands found your thighs once more, fingers gripping and kneading with a measured intensity that sent electric shivers through you. As he moved lower, his fingertips brushed the thin fabric of your underwear, inching closer to where you ached for him, squeezing you tighter as if to draw you in.
In a single, decisive motion, he grasped the hem of your dress and pulled it upward, the fabric sliding along your skin as he lifted it away, tossing it aside with a casual disregard that only heightened the tension in the air. He took a step back, his gaze roaming over you, from the soft curve of your face down to the tips of your toes, a look of hunger that felt almost consuming.
You weren't wearing a bra (your dress didn't require it) and your breasts fell beautifully in front of him, hard nipples and soft skin. Your chest flushed with warmth, a rosy hue creeping into your cheeks as you swallowed hard, feeling vulnerable yet exhilarated when he stepped closer.
âIâve always loved that dress,â he said, his voice trembling with an emotion that was both reverent and raw.
âI know,â you replied, a smile curling at the corners of your lips, the moment igniting an intimacy that made your heart race.
His eyes swept down your body again, glittering with an unmistakable lust, and when he closed the distance, standing right before you, your breath caught in your throat.
His hands slid around your waist, firm yet tender, pulling you into him with a deftness that sent a thrill coursing through you. In one seamless motion, he lifted you off the ground, your feet barely grazing the floor as you instinctively stood on your tiptoes, the world narrowing to just the two of you.
Joelâs eyes darkened with a hunger that left you breathless, and he leaned in, his lips finding one of your breasts with a soft kiss that felt both electrifying and reverent. The warmth of his mouth sent a rush of heat through your body, and before you could gather your thoughts, he nipped your nipple gently, a teasing bite that sent chills racing across your skin.
His teeth grazed you just enough to elicit a gasp, a shuddering reaction that echoed in the space between you. But he didnât linger on the sharpness of that moment; he quickly replaced the sensation with the soothing warmth of his lips, enveloping you entirely.
He sank to one knee, lowering himself until his lips brushed your stomach, the warm sensation sending ripples of desire coursing through you. His face lingered dangerously close to where you needed him most.
Joel placed his hands on your hips, fingers gripping the elastic of your underwear, his gaze locking onto yours for a moment that stretched into eternity before he slowly began to lower it, the fabric sliding down your legs and pooling at your feet. You felt his breath hitch at the sight of your now bare center, the anticipation thickening the air between you as he inched closer, finally brushing his lips against your mons pubis.
âPrecious,â he murmured, and the warmth of his breath washed over you like a caress, drawing a small, needy moan from your lips. His hands parted your legs slightly, his fingers digging into your thighs, holding you firmly in place.
You cupped his face gently, as if afraid you might break him, and then, without warning, Joel licked his lips and plunged forward, his mouth connecting with you in a surprise that made your eyes flutter shut. You tangled your fingers in his hair, tugging him closer as he devoured you, his tongue working its magic as he sucked and kissed you whole, with an urgency that left you breathless.
He growled into you, the sound reverberating through your body, and you felt weakness seep into your legs, trembling under the weight of his relentless attention. Joel was eating you like a hungry man, tasting you and soaking in your juices with a fervor that felt primal, kissing you as if his life depended on it.
âFuck,â you gasped, feeling every muscle in your body tighten as a building pressure coiled inside you.
He pulled away for just a moment, his eyes darkened with lust, a playful smile creeping onto his lips before he returned to you, closing his mouth around your clit, sucking and licking with a skill that made your head spin.
âAhâJoel, Iâm going toâIâm going toââ You struggled to articulate the intensity of what was building within you, your words stumbling over the tide of pleasure washing over you.
His voice vibrated through you, trailing off into a soft, âMhm.â
You pulled at his hair, tugging harder as a wrenching moan escaped your throat. The world around you faded as his movements grew more frantic, his tongue flicking at you with a desperate fervor. One of his hands released your thigh, and a low groan escaped his lips as his finger found your entrance, sliding inside with an ease that made you gasp.
âFuck me, youâre so wet,â he murmured, pausing for a moment to take in the sight of youâyour cheeks flushed, eyes sparkling with lust. A satisfied smile broke across his face, and you thought he had never looked so gorgeous.
From your point of view, he looked beautiful. His bright eyes worshipped you intently, his mouth and mustache glistened bathed in you, his hair tossed by your hands mingled in all directions. Joel Miller had never looked so good.
Another finger joined the first, and you closed your eyes, surrendering to the sensation as he curled them just right, hitting that sweet spot that made you gasp for air. You gripped his hair again, pulling him closer, and he let out a throaty laugh, clearly reveling in the sight of you completely undone.
You felt his mouth on you again, the warmth of his lips kissing and sucking with an insatiable hunger that left you breathless. The sound of it was utterly obscene, echoing around the room like a carnal symphony, and it drove you to the brink of madness, your mind spinning in a dizzying haze of pleasure.
His movements grew more intense, a rhythm building that sent waves of ecstasy rippling through your body. You felt yourself teetering on the edge, your hips moving in desperate undulations, surrendering to the climax that Joel savored with unrelenting focus. Your fingers clenched around him, digging in perhaps a bit too hard, but he welcomed it, desperate to drink in every last drop of what you were offering, to savor you whole.
With a low grunt, he squeezed your hips before pulling away, the wet sound of his departure from you hanging heavy in the air. You barely registered his rise from the floor, lost in the aftershocks of pleasure, your eyes still closed as the vibrations coursed through you. It wasnât until his hands gripped your waist that you finally blinked awake, lifting your eyelids to find him gazing down at you, his face mere inches from yours.
He leaned in, capturing your mouth again, a kiss that was both desperate and tender, igniting a fire deep within you. You could taste yourself on his tongue.
Your hands found their way around his neck, pulling him closer as you melted into the kiss. As the intensity built, you let your fingers drift down his chest, trailing lightly until they found the leather of his belt, the sensation sending shivers through you as you tugged him closer.
Joel vibrated against you, a low growl escaping as he nipped at your lower lip while you fumbled with his steel buckle, the sound of it being released becoming your new favorite melody. You unzipped his pants, your heart racing as you slipped your hand inside, finally touching him for the first time.
Your pulse quickened as you wrapped your fingers around him, feeling the heat radiating from his velvet soft skin; big, hot and throbbing in your palm. A rush of desire flooded you, and you pulled away from his lips, dropping to your knees before him, your eyes wide as you took in his form.Â
There he stood, beautiful and swollen with need, and your mouth watered at the sight. You cupped him gently, drawing him closer to your lips, placing a soft kiss on the tip. Joel closed his eyes at the sensation, surrendering to the moment completely, and you traced your tongue over him, tasting the salty sweetness of his pre cum that made your insides tighten with longing.
With a hint of effort, you attempted to take him fully into your mouth, but he was too large, stretching you in ways you hadnât expected. Joel lowered his gaze to you, his fingers caressing your jaw as you struggled to adjust.
âSlow, baby,â he urged, his voice silky yet strained, and it sent another rush of need through you. "I know you can do it."
You matched your hand to your mouth, stroking him where you couldnât quite reach, while your other hand gently caressed his balls, moving in a synchronized rhythm. Joel tensed beneath your touch, his fingers shifting from your face to tangle in your hair, guiding you as he reveled in the pleasure you were giving him.
The sounds in the room became a symphony of pleasure, every moan and gasp echoing off the walls, and you watched as Joel's pleasure climbed. The image was enough to drive him over the edge; your pink, swollen lips covered him and his cock glistened with your saliva, dripping from your chin with every move you made. Your teary eyes looked up at him desirously, and he could take no more; his gaze was filled with a primal hunger that threatened to unravel him. He finally withdrew from your mouth with great reluctance when he felt his stomach tighten, a low complaint escaping your throat in protest.
His breathing was heavy, and a flush colored his cheeks as he lifted you effortlessly, holding you at the waist, his lips finding yours in a heated kiss. In one swift motion, he laid you back onto the bed, the mattress dipping under his weight as he moved closer; Joel kneeling and settling between your legs which you instinctively opened for him.Â
You needed him, you needed him to fill you whole. You had never needed anything as much as you needed him at that moment. And as if he was reading your thoughts - or maybe he needed you as much as you needed him - he leaned in, taking your mouth with his once more, his moans blending with yours as he lost himself in you.
Your hands tangled in his hair, pulling him closer as he deepened the kiss, the taste of him igniting a fire in your veins. You felt him positioning himself at your entrance, his heat pulsing against you, and an intense sigh shot through your chest as Joel entered you in one thrust, burning and stretching you around him.Â
âOh God,â he groaned, burying his face into the crook of your neck, the warmth of his breath sending shivers down your spine. His right hand traveled to your left leg, lifting it and resting it high on his shoulder, while without hesitation, his other hand mirrored the movement with your right leg, bringing you into a position that felt both intimate and vulnerable. You were completely folded under him.
A cry escaped your lips as Joel began to move on top of you, his face hovering just inches above yours, the heat between you palpable. No one had ever penetrated you so deeply; it felt as though he was everywhere, filling you completely, every inch of you alive with sensation.
Joel's right hand gently squeezed your neck, seeking your mouth for a kiss as his movements took on a more urgent pace. The rhythmic collision of his hips against your buttocks created a beautiful sound that echoed off the walls, each thrust punctuated by the soft, desperate gasps that slipped from his mouth. Your own cries mingled with his as your body tightened again, your hands moving frantically up and down his back, your nails digging into his flesh, leaving little marks that he would surely wear like badges of pleasure.Â
A broken sound escaped from Joel, raw and primal, as he sank his face into the crook of your neck once more, increasing his thrusts with a fervor that felt animalistic, as if the world outside had fallen away and this moment was all that mattered. He fucked you into the mattress with an intensity that left you breathless, as though he were trying to ground you both in this fleeting reality, where nothing else existed except for the two of you entwined together.
You melted around him, your juices mixing with his as you enveloped him completely, and just when you thought you couldnât take any more, he lifted his head, your forehead resting against yours, his wide eyes locking into yours. You had never seen them so dark, so filled with intensity and strength.
And then it hit you:Â It was Joel, your Joel, the one who had been your best friend for four years, and here he was, fucking the life out of you like no one ever had before. What could possibly come after an experience like this?
âI thought you didn't like me,â he said, his voice choppy, strained with effort. A smirk played at the corners of his swollen lips. âSuch a bad liar, baby, look at you.â
You growled in response, fingers tangling in his hair, pulling him towards you with a mix of force and anger. Your lips found his in a kiss that was anything but patient, igniting a spark between you. You felt him tense above you, one of his hands quickly moving to your center, exerting immense pressure as he leaned his weight on his other arm, holding you captive beneath him.
His fingers found your clit, tracing gentle circles that made your back arch involuntarily, another wave of pleasure building inside you. Your mouth was still on his, consuming him completely, when your second orgasm crashed over you like a tidal wave. You felt your insides tighten around him, squeezing him with a ferocity that pulled him closer to his own climax.
Joel gasped into your mouth, and the intensity of it sent your vision spiraling into darkness for a brief moment, the sensation so strong it felt as if the world had collapsed around you. When your breathing finally steadied, you found his hot body pressed against yours, moving in tiny tremors, quickened breaths brushing against your jaw.
He stayed inside you for a few moments longer, savoring the closeness, your hands continuing to caress his back, each touch a silent promise. Then, slowly, he pulled out of you, leaving you feeling achingly empty, his cum trickling from your entrance.
He fell limply beside you, his body slick with sweat, and pulled you close to him, pressing a gentle kiss to your forehead. His breaths, still heaving, crashed against your damp skin, wrapping you in warmth. Unable to muster the energy to move, you let your eyes flutter closed, surrendering to a deep, exhausted sleep that you would not remember when you woke up...
No, you didn't remember any dream, Because when you opened your eyes the next morning, you stirred in place and your muscles ached pleasantly, reminding you of the night before. And as you stretched your arms across the bed, your fingers grazed the sheets, feeling an emptiness beside you.
When you looked to your sides, the realization hit you hard.
Joel was gone.
