N/SFW. Minors DNI
CW: GN reader / Men's Mental Health IG ???
KNY characters that I think are more prone to cumming in their pants / NSFW
Tumblr media
Giyu
-He's inexperienced.
-I admire the almost fandom consensus of him being either resident, sexy, black haired, quiet anime boy, and/or 'nobody likes this friendless loser, he definitely has a tumblr'
-Any attention, platonic or not, from someone he's attracted to is enough to make Giyu get an apparent boner. He's prone to them when the people he admires say genuinely nice things to him.
-He doesn't get to hear nice things a lot, nor does he take compliments easily, so when he believes them, his body can't help but believe them too.
-He'd rather it not be that way, but due to his floundering mental health, and general isolation, Giyu isn't jerking off very often, nor is he able to get it up when he wants to, so he just goes... months without thinking about it sometimes.
-Could definitely cum from kissing too hard. Not just kissing, but particularly the rough treatment.
-Giyu must be incredibly touch starved, I imagine. I can't fiction the last time he's hugged someone. That scene where he's holding Shinobu, perhaps?
-So when he's getting so much attention, especially so much positive, romantic attention, even if it's a little rough, I'm sure his dick would be at full mast.
-he doesn't think he's predisposed to masochism or anything. He'd hope he wasn't, but it feels better when he's kissing, and maybe his hair is being pulled on, just a little.
-he'd be very embarassed. He wouldn't cry or anything, but I think he'd get up and leave the room. He knows you knew what happened, he didn't moan, but he flinched because the build up was so immediate, and he just couldn't stop.
-How pathetic. He can't show his face infront of you ever again. All he does is ruin good things. You're definitely disgusted by him.
-Even if he didn't realize how pretty his face looked during his orgasm.
Tumblr media
Gyutaro
-Everyday I fight the gyutaro incel allegations, and everyday I fail.
-Gyutaro is socially inept, to put it blatantly. He spends an incredible amount of time locked away in his sister, and rarely chooses to come out unless eating for the two, or-
-if he needs to jerk off. A rarity, nowadays. Looking the way he looks can do a real number on one's ability to self-pleasure. He also isn't able to seek out assistance from any brothels- He still looks the way he looks. He's no Muzan- blessed with the ability to change his appearance at will.
-So when you're on top of Gyutaro, and he feels the curve of your ass in his palm, and your sex is positioned right on top of his, just barely grazing his clothed cock, as you try and teach him how to kiss (he's doing his best, but he knows he's not good-)
-He cums, and he cums hard. He grips down on your hips, and goes wide eyed, unable to stop the moan that rips its way from his throat... and then quickly moves you off of him.
-He isn't even finished when he moves you, he's shakey armed, and he nearly drops you.
-he's mortified. After all this time, he finally gets someone willing to touch him, and he blows it. He's borderline inconsolable- switching between begging you not to look at him and begging you not to hate him-
-but the noise he made was just so... pathetic.
Tumblr media
Haganezuka
-Men dedicated to their craft don't have time to cum? Silly of you to assume he's ever even seen another person naked. That would imply he looked away from a sword for long enough to register it.
-On a completely serious note (as serious as I can be writing this), It'd be quite awkward interacting with Haganezuka sexually. His mind has been so consumed by perfection that, even if he wasn't dedicated to the blade, he's almost prevented himself from ever being able to cum in a social setting.
-He's developed a phobia of new situations he can't control. Especially sexual ones. Swords are easy and gratifying. Why would he ever need to cum when he can just make a sword and have it be respected and revered. Wouldn't that be nice-
-So when you started rubbing him over his pants, he was, admittedly, panicking. It's not like he went nearly 4 decades without using his dick... He'd just... gone 2 and a half decades without using his dick. Nowhere near the same.
-You'd barely even touched it, barely even pressed your lips to his neck, and Haganezuka was panting.
-The fear coursing through his veins, and the attention his forgotten cock was receiving- He grew more unsightly by the second...
-and then you pressed a particularly soft kiss to the corner of his lips and he was done for. That was his first kiss-
-Though shocked, you'd pump Haganezuka through his orgasm. It'd be enough to go through his pants, and spill over your hand.
-He'd grip your robes, and will you closer to him. His heels would slam into the floorboard, and he'd try to bury his face in your neck, attempting to muffle the groan he'd loose, only to fail tremendously.
-He'd be huffy after. Mad at himself and disguising it as being mad at you.
-'Well, maybe you shouldn't touch me anymore, if you found it so gross! Did you consider that? Just not touching me- ever?'
-but you saw how sad he looked when you said you'd do whatever he wanted. What a simple man.

⸻ JEALOUS, JEALOUS BOY
pairing: sanji x reader
word count: 5.7k
synopsis: life as a pirate is never boring, especially when your best friend is sanji—a flirtatious chef who can’t seem to sort out his feelings, or yours, for that matter. that makes things all the more complicated when you’re forced to go undercover and sanji is dragged along with you as your very fake husband. the million-dollar question is: when lines start blurring, how do you differentiate between what’s fake and what’s real?
+ + + + + + + + + + + + +
“We broke up.”
“How long? Two months?”
You shrug. “I stopped counting anniversaries after the first couple of failed ones.”
Sanji swings his knife a tad too forcefully. The loud THUD of it smashing into the cutting board causes you to jump. You peer over the counter and grimace at the sight.
“God, what did that poor tuna ever do to you?”
Sanji continues slicing into the red flesh, more aggressively than before, but still with the same care and precision that he affords every ingredient he touches.
“Why?”
“Why what?” You lift your gaze to his face, smiling softly at the concentration twisting his features. It’s one of the things you admire greatly about Sanji—the sheer dedication and love he has for his craft.
“Why did you break up with him?” Sanji repeats. He’s chopping up a variety of garnish now. Again, with more aggression than necessary.
You raise a brow, but decide not to comment on it.
“What makes you think I was the one who called it quits?”
He sets the knife down and turns to you, blonde bangs falling across his face. Sanji flashes you his signature flirtatious smile, but there’s a strange hint of tension attached to it.
“Who would ever think to break up with you?” He leans in, gaze darkening. “They would have to be crazy.”
You pull back, rolling your eyes. He’s always like this. Coy. Intimate. The ultimate womanizer. Sometimes… you wish it could be different.
“Well, he must have been crazy then.”
“What?” Sanji pauses, confusion etches his expression. “You… wait… he broke up with you?!”
“Don’t sound so surprised. He only beat me to it by a week. I had the decency to try and wait until after Valentines,” you note. You aren’t particularly broken up about the whole thing. Your ex is barely an ex—a summer fling, if anything. But Sanji, on the other hand, is acting as if some horrible crime has been committed.
“I’ll kill him.”
You blink. “Okay. A bit of an overreaction.”
“How dare he…” Sanji mumbles, not hearing you. His hand tightly grips the knife handle, and you swear the temperature just dropped even in the presence of boiling pots and simmering roux.
“Alright, enough. Don’t be so dramatic,” you laugh, moving to gently pry his fingers from their iron grip on the handle. He lets you—watching as you take the blade from him, and relishing in the soft feel of your skin against his. He itches to grab your hand and pull you closer. But he doesn’t. He won’t.
He can’t.
Sanji learned very quickly that his charms and gimmicks weren’t going to work on you. In all fairness, they rarely do, but for some unfathomable reason, he can’t seem to let that particular rejection go. He will always resent that part of him for pushing you away and drawing that boundary—a line you both delicately toe, never to cross over to each other’s side.
Your first meeting was… disastrous, to say the least. Sanji had just met the crew, and was tripping over himself to impress Nami, when you had made your way back to the others after a quick break in the powder room.
You had witnessed all of his shameless flirting and blatant promiscuity on your way back. You immediately took a strong dislike to the blonde chef, his behaviour reminiscent of exes that were none too pleasant.
“I’m back.”
At the sound of your voice, Sanji beamed, turning to strike up another flowery bombardment of compliments and flattery… only to freeze in place when he saw you.
For once, his silver tongue lacked its luster, fumbling before the sight of you.
For once, he knew not what to say or do. He could only stare. Only admire and behold.
“Good job. You broke the chef,” Zoro deadpanned.
You pulled an expression of slight concern and mild annoyance.
“Um… are you alright?” You waved a hand across Sanji’s face. No reaction. The rest of the crew barely paid him any mind, too busy either eating, drinking… or arguing, in Nami and Zoro’s case.
You slipped into the booth next to Zoro, choosing to ignore the bizarre situation, when a deep, rumbling voice belonging to a peg-legged old man boomed from across Baratie.
“SANJI!”
It snapped Sanji out of his stupor, grounding him back into reality.
“Marry me.”
But perhaps not logic.
“What?”
Zoro pulled a face of disgust eerily similar to your own. Somewhere in the background, you vaguely heard Ussop choking on his drink. Nami clapped thunderously on his back. Is she trying to help him or kill him?
Luffy, through all of this, watched with bright, curious eyes.
“Yuuummphh fuu’yyy,” exclaimed Luffy, his mouth full of bread, gravy, and what you can only assume is a whole ribeye steak.
Zoro turned his disgust toward the captain. “Are you kidding?”
Luffy scarfed down another forkful of food, grinning wide as he swallowed the last of his meal. He patted his stomach, content, before turning his attention back to Sanji.
“You’re funny!” He laughed.
“That’s what you were trying to say?!”
Luffy ignored Zoro’s exasperation and just giggled in his usual carefree manner. Sanji ignored them all, choosing only you to spare his attention. You shifted uncomfortably, tension coursing through your veins at the way he watched you. As if you were the greatest treasure in all of the Four Seas and he was the king of the pirates—a man would do anything to covet it. Covet you.
Zoro and Luffy didn’t seem to grasp the situation as they continued to bicker in the background.
“Boys. Stop… FIGHTING!” Nami barked out. A swift smack from the ginger settled them both down, each sulking in a corner as she berated them for their behaviour.
You took a deep breath, willing your nerves to calm. You met Sanji’s eyes and they shone with hope.
“You want me to marry you?”
“Yes. Desperately,” he breathed out.
If heart eyes were real, they would beat within the passion of his gaze. Strong. Intense. Unabashed. You despised it. How could he look at you in that way after mere moments of greetings? It was lust. Nothing less, and certainly nothing more.
“SANJI, GET YOUR ASS BACK IN HERE!”
Sanji clenched his jaw at the voice, frustration and irritation barely contained. His expression smoothed over as he spoke to you.
“Think it over?”
You raise a brow. “What? The proposal?”
“Precisely that,” he smiled. Gorgeous asshole.
“Over my dead body,” you scoffed. Your rejection didn’t seem to deter him though, the grin on his face still present even as he left for the kitchen.
So many sleepless nights later and Sanji still can’t help but sigh whenever he remembers that day. He wishes he could take back his words, his actions… his everything. Maybe you would love him back if he did. Maybe you wouldn’t be dating morons who don’t even come close to deserving you—not that he does, but he would try.
For you, he would try it all.
Your soft voice breaks him out of his trip down memory lane.
“Seriously, it’s not a big deal,” you reassure.
Sanji wants to shout, But it is! Don’t you get that? How could losing you not be a big deal?
Instead, he shakes his head and takes a long draw from his cigarette. He watches the clouds waft up in lazy rings, circle around your head, and disintegrate into the kitchen heat. Sanji finds it increasingly difficult to meet your eyes.
“Are you alright, love?”
His genuine concern for you makes you smile. “I’m alright, Sanji. I wasn’t that attached, anyway.”
That twinkle in his eyes. It's back again.
“Really? Then what about my initial offer?” he jokes. Though it doesn’t sound like a joke to him. Doesn’t feel like one either.
“What are you talking about?” You ask. You take a spoonful of the broth and bring it to your lips, ignorant of the tense atmosphere. At least until the magnitude of Sanji’s next words drops.
“You know… marrying me.” Sanji holds his breath.
Shit. Why did I say that? He thinks, regretfully.
You falter, the spoon quickly forgotten in the pot. Your appetite disappears just as swiftly.
“Everytime I think we’re having a nice, serious conversation, you just have to go and… say something like that. Aren’t you bored of it? Tired of all the false promises and sweet talk?” You shake your head and stand up to leave.
“[Name], I–”
You cut him off. “I’m disappointed, Sanji.”
“Please, just hear–”
The kitchen door bursts open to show Usopp, who hurriedly beckons you both outside.
“Crew meeting, come on!”
Sanji turns to you, about to say something else, but you ignore him and follow Usopp out into the hallway and up to the deck. Sanji has no choice but to do the same.
Winter has arrived in the form of early nights and fresh snowfall—as if the chilling temperature itself isn’t enough of an indicator. Your breath crystallizes in the air as the three of you venture outside to where you meet the rest of the crew.
Nami has a large sheet of parchment spread flat across the floor with each member of the crew positioned around it in a wide circle. Upon closer inspection, you realize it isn’t one of her usual cartographic maps. It’s a blueprint. And the subject of it… is a castle?
“Nami, what is this?” You ask as you take a seat next to her.
With a pen, she circles a small room located in the eastern wing of the building’s upper level. It sits above a sprawling space. A ballroom, you wager. The schematics look complicated enough.
Nami begins to explain. “This is a blueprint of Ceres Palace, a high-security manor sitting atop the nearest port city. It is home to a powerful noble family…”
She flips the paper over. “…and this.”
A mass of glimmering golden ink shines under the moonlight, every meticulously painted stroke deliberate and delicate. The image is clear.
“Is that a devil fruit?” Robin inquires, eyes narrowing.
“One crafted from solid gold and pure diamond dust, gilded with sea jadeite. It is the most monetarily valuable ‘devil fruit’ in the world, depending on who you ask,” Nami answers. She flips the parchment again. “And we are going to steal it.”
“Wait a damn minu-“
“Hold on-“
“Are we sure that’s-“
A chorus of protests and concerns rise from the rest of the crew, and for good reason. From just a first glance of the palace grounds, you can tell this will be a risky heist, and something in your gut tells you that there’s more to it.
Nami shuts them all up with a pointed glare.
“Do you realize how long I spent drawing up this stupid thing?! One more word from any of you and I will shove it down your throat. Whole,” she threatens.
No one speaks.
“Good. Now, as I was saying, this heist will consist of two parts. The actual theft and the distraction.”
Sanji raises his hand. Nami points at him and nods.
“Why, exactly, are we stealing someone’s gold…er…artifact? I get that we’re pirates but… a bit out of the way, isn’t it?”
Nami, Ussop, and Chopper sigh in unison. The latter ambles your way and climbs into your lap, snuggling for warmth.
“Hello baby,” you murmur. You smile softly as the little reindeer tucks himself into your welcome embrace. You give Chopper a scratch under the chin before turning your attention back to the conversation at hand.
Zoro barely pays any attention, head bobbing a bit. He’s already falling asleep. Typical. Robin, on the other hand, seems to recognize the object.
“I’ve heard of this. Its original name was The Monarch’s Heart. It belonged to the royal family of that island. Twenty years ago, the king’s most trusted advisor spearheaded a coup d’état and a violent rebellion broke out, ending with the execution of the royal family, as well as the usurpation of the former, now exiled, king.” Robin crouches and lightly brushes the blueprint, tracing along its curves. “All this time, the Heart was believed to have been lost amidst war. You’re saying one of the nobles stole it?”
Nami scratches her head and grimaces. “Well, yeah, kinda.”
“What do you mean, ‘kinda’”? You ask.
“We don’t have any proof. Not really,” she shrugs.
“So, again, why are we doing this?” Sanji reiterates.
“We have proof!” Luffy grins. Your captain finally speaks up, too preoccupied with messing with a sleeping Zoro moments ago.
“Luffy—” Nami starts.
“What? I believe the old man. He’s a good guy.” Luffy pats his stomach. “He fed me.”
“What old man?” You’re getting more and more confused as the meeting drags on.
“Luffy. You met the exiled king, didn’t you?” Robin’s eyes twinkle with curiosity.
“Um… I don’t know? I forgot his name but he was nice. Told me about how his stuff got stolen unfairly so I promised to get it back for him.”
“So you don’t even know if he’s telling the truth? What if he was the bad guy, and the nobles who took over overthrew a tyrant?” Sanji blows smoke from his cigarette as he prods.
“He was not,” Robin states factually. “The king was known to be kind and benevolent, catering only to the needs of his people. Since that nation's birth, the royal faction was always at odds with the avaricious nobility. That tension came to a head in the form of a brutal uprising. Though massacre is much more fitting of a description for what occurred.”
“Mhm, mhm, mhm.” Luffy nods vigorously at her words. “So we’re gonna get his gold back for him.”
“Liberating another nation, are we?” Zoro yawns, barely waking up.
“Seems like it,” Nami sighs.
“It’s what the captain wants,” Robin smiles.
“And what Luffy wants…” you begin.
Everyone else groans.
“Luffy gets.”
“So…” Sanji shifts next to you. Closer. His warmth clouds your senses a little and you try to ignore the dizzying effect it has on you. “How do we do this, exactly?”
“I bust down the door and slice ‘em up,” Zoro offers.
“In your dreams, Mosshead. I could take down—”
You pinch his side. Sanji jumps and turns to you, a slight pout on his face. Despite what happened earlier, you find yourself trying not to laugh.
“You’re not doing that, Zoro,” Chopper scolds.
The swordsman tsks. “Fine. Then how the hell are we actually pulling this off?”
Nami explains the plan.
Sanji turns white.
Your mouth drops open. “Excuse me?!”
✧ ˚ · .
“Oh god, I’m going to throw up.”
Robin chuckles as she hands you silken gloves. “Don’t worry. You’ll do just fine. Remember, get in, pull the alarm, get out.”
“Easier said than done,” you grumble.
The plan is actually much more complex than what Robin makes it out to be.
The palace itself has two separate alarm systems—one for the vault, and another in case of fire. If both are activated at the same exact moment, they cause a complete system break, and the fire alarm overrides the theft security, forcing an evacuation with everyone none the wiser.
The plan is for you and Sanji to infiltrate the party under the pretense of a foreign dignitary and his spouse, survey and locate the alarm, cause a distraction, and pull the alarm the precise moment Nami unlocks the vault. All communicated via Den Den Mushi earpieces.
Easy peasy.
Your clothing sticks to you uncomfortably—tight in areas you don’t normally expose to the world. The scented oil in your hair makes you smell like you had just popped fresh out of the oven. A layered film of glittering makeup rests on your features, rendering the person in the mirror a complete, hapless stranger.
“Why did it have to be me?”
And Sanji?
You don’t voice that last bit.
“Nami’s the thief, the other boys would blow their covers immediately, I have other matters to attend to, and Chopper… Well, Chopper’s a reindeer.”
You run a hand through your hair. Anxiety claws at your skin. You feel a sudden urge to feign illness and rid yourself of this ridiculous plan.
“Must we pose as a couple? Surely there are other ways,” you implore.
“The invites we swiped were from married nobles,” Robin reminds.
You groan. Robin pats your shoulder supportively.
“There there. Don’t fret, you’ll do fine. Are you ready?”
“Ready as I’ll ever be.”
Robin gives you another encouraging pat before she ushers you out of the dressing room.
You make your way outside, shivering slightly as the winter winds bite into your skin. The thin fabric of your garments do nothing to shield the cold.
Someone lets out a sharp inhale. You turn towards the noise. Sanji stands to your left, clutching an envelope in hand. His usual suave demeanour is displaced by an air of buzzing anxiety and a starstruck expression.
He’s dressed in a sleek three-piece black suit. It pains you how devastatingly handsome he looks.
“You clean up nice,” you note.
“I…uh. You—Sorry, yeah, what?” Sanji replies, all smooth and intelligent.
“…Pardon?”
Robin watches the entire interaction with a pained grimace. Having enough, she steps up and gently steers you towards Sanji.
“Hurry up, now. They’re expecting you both soon. Don’t forget to stay in character, lest you end up blowing your covers.” She winks at you both, but you can’t help but think it was directed more towards Sanji.
“Shall we?”
Seemingly recovered from whatever alien had possessed him seconds ago, the chef offers you his arm with a small smile. You place your hand around his bicep and try to ignore his rippling muscles underneath your fingertips.
“Color me surprised. I really thought you’d have showered me with compliments by now,” you joke.
“I thought you didn’t like that part of me.”
Disappointment blooms in your chest.
“Right. I don’t. I just…” you trail off. You just thought you looked nice tonight. And maybe a small part of you was hoping he felt the same.
“Never mind.”
You slip your hand out of the crook of Sanji’s arm and start walking a little bit faster, hoping he doesn’t notice the conflicting emotions on your face.
When Sanji first joined the crew, you made yourself a promise: that you would never fall for his charms. But as time went on and he showed you a mountain of kindness, understanding, and empathy… that promise, steadily, became much harder to keep and much easier to forget. It wasn’t his flirting and charms that were dangerous—it was the man buried underneath all that playful pretense. A man who has stubbornly found his way into your guarded heart, despite your best efforts of keeping him out.
It was always easier that way. Easier to turn away, to shut him out. Easier to walk away when you catch him with others who drew his interest and to stop listening as he murmurs sweet nothings in their ears—the very ones he had whispered to you. It was easier to accept that you are not, and will not, be special to him.
You refuse to be just another mark in his book of conquests, and if all it takes is a silent heartbreak to avoid such a fate, so be it. You’ve survived much worse before.
The palace soon comes into view, a grand structure that stretches into the vertical horizon. The path towards the marbled entrance is busy with bustling guests and the glowing orbs of rainbow fireflies. You steadily, and as elegantly as possible, make your way towards the host out in front.
“Good evening, may I see your invitations for the night?” He asks, gloved hand outstretched in expectation.
Sanji flashes him a million-berry smile. “Of course, my good sir. I have them right here.”
He pulls out the envelope you had seen earlier from inside his black suit jacket. The greeter accepts the documents and diligently scans them. After a few seconds, he nods, satisfied by what he sees, and hands the papers back to Sanji.
“Enjoy your night.” He moves aside to let you pass and holds an arm out, guiding you both through the white stone doors.
As soon as you step through the entrance , you are greeted by a foyer fit for kings. A cascading staircase blanketed by red velvet leads to even larger double doors, both white like the walls, but trimmed with gold linings and spiral handles. A crystal chandelier, bigger than you ever thought possible, hangs from the ceiling. It casts shining diamonds in every reflection of the room.
Sanji holds out his arm for you again as you both prepare to execute the mission, but you don’t immediately go to take it. Sanji must sense your hesitation because he sighs and gives you a strained, yet still affectionate smile.
“[Name], please. If not for me, then for appearances. We’re married, remember?”
“Fake married,” you correct, although you relent and slip your hand in the crook of his elbow anyway.
“You don’t have to remind me.”
Arm in arm, Sanji leads you to the ballroom. The doors open to reveal hundreds of nobles draped in silk and pearls, dining on delicacies, and mingling with others of their same social echelon. You already want to go home.
You both find a small table tucked into a corner and stand around it.
“We have to wait until Nami gives us the signal. First, let’s blend in and make sure to look like we belong,” you whisper.
Sanji leans in to hear you better. “What do you suggest? We could hit the banquet table, the food doesn’t look half bad.”
You peer over his shoulder at the platters of hor d'oeuvres and fancy desserts. “They don’t look nearly as good as what you make.”
“Was that a compliment?” Sanji grins.
“Don’t get used to it. Your heads already far too big,” you smirk.
“I don’t have that much of an ego,” he grumbles, picking at a loose thread on his sleeve.
“Hey, don’t do that.” You gently swat at his hand, admonishing him for trying to pull the string out.
“Why? It’s annoying.”
“Yeah, but you’ll ruin it even more if you just yank at it. Hold on.” You pluck a small oyster shucker from a passing waitress’s pocket, with her none the wiser. With the knife, you smoothly cut away the thread and flick it into a bin behind you.
Sanji stares at you in awe. “Did you just pickpocket the…”
“Not a word.”
“Got it.”
“Anyway, we don’t want to ruin these clothes. They’re borrowed. And so much nicer than what we’re used to.”
You pull at your collar to adjust it, only to realize Sanji is staring at you again, but with a different glint in his eyes. One with more… heat. It is only now that you realize how close you are to him—pressed up against his side, thigh-to-thigh and shoulder-to-shoulder, as you both converse away from the crowd. Sanji exudes warmth that, mixed with your own cluttered feelings, makes you a bit dizzy. You take a step back. Sanji’s gaze never leaves you.
“Did I tell you earlier how good you look?”
You swallow. “No.”
He steps closer, closing the gap again. “You look good. Really, really good.”
“Thanks. Formal clothing does wonders.” Your laugh comes out more nervous than you intended.
“Unbelievably good,” he murmurs, almost to himself—like he can’t believe what’s right in front of him.
“Sanji–”
A screeching violin note interrupts you and the strange moment you both got caught up in. Sanji snaps back to his usual self and quickly shakes his head, as if clearing away a fog.
“Food,” he coughs.
You blink. “Right. Food.”
“I’m gonna…” Sanji motions towards the buffet.
You’ve never seen him this… awkward. You’re not sure what to make of it.
“Yeah. Go ahead. I’m gonna scope out the place and figure out where the alarm is.”
He stiffly nods, then makes his way across the ballroom. You turn heel and begin walking along the corridors, scanning for anything that may resemble an alarm.
A static noise crackles in your right ear.
“Can…I—“
A sudden spike of sharp feedback makes you wince.
“Sorry! Can you hear me?” Nami’s voice pipes up.
“Yes. Comms are working. What am I looking for, Nami?”
“Something resembling a button, maybe? Look for a red button or something along those lines.”
“Understood..”
After about ten minutes of searching, you finally come upon it, a small red lever nestled in a corner behind the bar, protected by a square glass casing.
You spot Sanji across the room, mid-conversation with a beautiful, young noble. Your chest twinges, but you push the feeling away. His eyes flit to yours and you subtly wave him over, gesturing to the alarm handle.
Sanji excuses himself and briskly makes his way to you.
“You found it?”
“Of course. It’s the whole reason we’re here, remember?” You ignore the lump in your throat.
“Sorry, I got distracted. I didn’t think—”
“It’s fine, Sanji. You were having fun. You don’t have to apologize. Did you get her number at least?” You try and coolly play it off.
His eyebrows knit together. “No. No, I—”
“Anyway, we should figure out how to distract the bartender. He’s the only one who is in the way.”
If Sanji notices your blatant attempt at changing the subject, he doesn’t show it.
“Sure. Any ideas, beautiful?”
“One.”
“What’s the plan?”
You fidget with your sleeve. “He’s been eyeing me all night.”
Sanji makes a disapproving noise. “...I noticed.”
“I’ll distract him. You get the alarm,” you shrug.
Sanji’s eyes narrow. “How, exactly, are you going to do that?”
“C’mon, Sanji, you can’t be that dense. I’m going to seduce him.”
His reply is immediate and final. “No.”
You balk at his flat tone. “What do you mean: no?”
“No. As in opposite of yes. As in absolutely not,” he hisses.
“Sanji. I have t-”
“No as in not okay!”
You place a hand over his mouth in an effort to stop his outburst. “Shhh! Stop that. Are you trying to draw attention to us?!”
He pulls your arm away, undeterred by your growing panic of being found out. “If it’ll get you to reconsider, then yes!”
“Sanji, enough. What is wrong with you? Why are you so worked up?”
“Do you seriously have to ask that?” He cries out, exasperated.
You open your mouth to retort, but Nami’s voice interrupts you.
“Sorry to break up whatever dumb fight this is, but I need someone to pull the alarm in exactly 60 seconds.”
You give Sanji an expectant look. He firmly shakes his head.
“Not happening.”
Before you can stop him, the chef makes his way to the bar, stumbling as if drunk. Before you know what’s happening, Sanji pulls a whiskey bottle from behind the bar, much to the bartender's protests and dismay. He takes a large swig, and you blow out a breath of relief when he sets it down.
Then he picks it back up again. You watch in horror as he lifts the bottle up and… accidentally pours the entire thing onto the champagne tower beside him. The glasses overflow, and the weight of the extra liquid becomes too much. One by one, the glasses come tumbling down in a landslide of alcohol and crystal.
The bartender cries out in distress. Sanji is unapologetic.
You run to the alarm amidst the mess.
“Ready, [name]?”
“Whenever you are, Nami.”
She begins counting down and the moment you hear: Now!, you pull the handle.
All hell breaks loose.
Blaring alarms ring out, drowning out every other possible sound. Sprinklers sprout from the ceiling and rain down on the partygoers, soaking them and the luxury furniture. Hundreds of panicked patrons scramble to leave, directed by equally flustered staff.
You feel a tug on your sleeve. It’s Sanji.
He tries saying something but is drowned out by the chaos around you. Frustrated, he beckons you over and motions for you to follow him.
After a couple minutes of navigating through screaming nobility, you end up on a secluded balcony away from all the activity. The alarms are barely louder than bells on this end of the palace.
You take a second to catch your breath. Both of you are drenched to the bone, and the chilly winter air does nothing to help your chattering teeth.
Sanji notices your shivering form and immediately drapes his jacket over your shoulders.
You smile gratefully at him, but falter when you see the frown on his face.
“What’s wrong?”
“Take it out.”
You blink. “What?”
“The earpiece. Take it out,” he says, impatient.
“Why?”
Sanji runs a hand through his hair in both irritation and anxiousness. “Because I’m going to confess my love for you and I don’t want everyone to hear it. They’d never let me live it down, especially that green-haired freak.”
You freeze. Your thoughts freeze. Every fucking thing stops dead in it’s tracks, including your heart.
“Sanji, this isn’t funny.” Your voice trembles.
“Baby, take the earpiece out. Let me talk to you,” he asks softly.
You don’t say anything, you don’t trust yourself to. With shaking hands, you take the Den Den Mushi out and turn it off.
It is only you and Sanji now.
“Hi.”
“Hi,” you echo.
“[Name].”
God, why does he have to say your name in that way? Like it means something more than friends—like it’s worth its weight in both diamonds and gold.
“This still isn’t funny.”
“Then it’s a good thing I’m not joking,” he says, tone as serious as you’ve ever heard it.
You sigh. “What are we doing, Sanji?”
“I don’t know about you, but I’m trying to confess my undying love to my favourite person in the world. It’s scary.”
“You say that—”
“I mean it,” he interjects.
“What makes me different? What makes me…”
Worthy of your love?
Sanji reaches for you, but stops himself at your expression. You continue questioning his words.
“How do I know this isn’t just some temporary thing? A fleeting crush?” You swallow hard. For some reason, you’re unable to meet his steady gaze. “How do I know this is real?”
He rubs the back of his neck, conflicting emotions flickering across his face. Sanji struggles to find the words needed to convince you. He tries his best, anyway.
“I know what my reputation is like. I know the personality I present to the world. But after I met you, none of it seemed worth it anymore. There was no appeal to living that type of life,” he pauses. Sanji lifts his head and stares straight at you, unwavering in his words. “The moment I saw you, I thought I’d die if I couldn’t be yours. I still think that now.”
Oh. Your chest is trying to kill you. That’s the only explanation for the ache you feel.
“I trust you with my life, Sanji. But not my heart.”
The alarms have stopped by now. Soon, people will come trickling back inside and the mission will be over. This moment in time will soon fade into the background of reality.
“I only ask that you give me a chance.”
“What makes you so sure that you’re the kind of guy I want to be with?”
“As opposed to your exes? Those guys—none of them deserved you,” he scoffs, annoyed at the mere mention of them.
You raise a brow. “Do you?”
“No. Of course not,” he answers. “But I want to try. Please, god, let me try.”
Your hands are still shaking, but not from the cold.
“We should get back to the ship,” you say, a strained smile on your face.
Sanji’s face falls at your deflection, but he accepts it and doesn’t push. He nods, and you both make your way back to the Merry, an uncomfortable silence hanging over you like a wet blanket.
You are only a couple hundred meters out from the ship when you stop abruptly. Sanji almost crashes into you, but steadies himself at the last second.
“Is something wrong?” He asks in concern.
Before you can lose your nerve, you whirl around and utter two words: “One date.”
It takes Sanji a few moments to understand what you just said, but when he does, he lights up like a kid on Christmas Eve. One who just met Santa. The sheer joy on his face makes it all worth it.
“You’re not messing with me, right? Please say no,” he shakily pleads.
You shake your head. “One. Make it count.”
Instead of answering, he throws his arms around you, wrapping you in his warm embrace.
You loop your arms around his neck and he melts into you, never wanting to let go.
“I’ll make you say yes to a second one. And then a third. And then a lifetime of dates after that. I swear it on my honour as a chef.”
“It’ll have to be a pretty damn good date then,” you laugh.
Sanji presses his forehead on yours.
“It’ll be the best date.”
“And how do you know that?” You tease.
“Because you will be there.”

Talk Is Cheap, So Show Me
Tumblr media
Summary: Aegon is a pathetic fanboy over you - the cosplayer who's got his eye.
Word count: 5.1k

Tumblr media
Aegon, the eldest of the wealthy and powerful Targaryen family. He was a handsome young man, with wavy platinum blonde hair and striking lavender eyes. Despite his spoiled privilege and high status, Aegon found solace in gaming. He spent hours playing various video games and role-playing games online, immersing himself in fantastical worlds. But one particular interest caught his attention - cosplay. He loved scrolling through pictures and videos of beautiful women dressed up as his favorite characters, admiring their creativity and dedication to the craft. It became an obsession for him. You were a cosplayer, spending hours crafting your costumes and perfecting your makeup. Although you came from a humble background, you had always had a fascination for fantasy and fiction, which led you to the world of cosplay. You took great pride in your work and were known in the cosplay community for your intricate and accurate costumes. One day, while sorting through your cosplay photos online, you noticed a name continuously popping up in the comments - Aegon.
Aegon had been stalking your social media accounts for weeks now, unable to resist the allure of your gorgeous cosplays. His heart pounded every time he saw a new post or comment from you, and he couldn't help but feel a strange sense of excitement. He knew it was wrong, given that you were both from very different backgrounds, but he couldn't deny his growing attraction towards you. One night, after another long session of gaming, he decided to take a chance. He sent you a private message on one of the popular social networking sites. As you were scrolling through your messages, you saw a notification from Aegon. Your eyes widened slightly as you clicked on the message, feeling a mixture of curiosity and surprise. You had noticed his comments before but never paid much attention to them. Now, as you read his words, you felt a flutter in your chest. ~Absolutely gorgeous, I've never seen a more perfect cosplay of that character. You nailed it.~ You hesitated for a moment. Should you reply to him? You weren't sure what his intentions were, but there was something about his message that intrigued you. Aegon watched eagerly as you opened his message. His heart pounded in his chest as he waited for your response. He felt a rush of relief mixed with anticipation by having finally said something.
He quickly typed out another reply, trying to sound casual yet flirty. ~You must have put so much effort into making that costume. I'm impressed!~ He hit send and then immediately regretted sounding too nice. He didn't want to scare you off by being too forward, but at the same time, he wanted to make sure you knew how much he appreciated your work. You smiled at Aegon's response. His words were sincere, and you could tell he genuinely appreciated your work. You couldn't help but feel a little flutter of excitement in your chest. Before responding, you took a moment to think. You didn't want to come off as too eager, but you also wanted to let him know that you were interested in continuing the conversation. After taking a deep breath, you typed out a response. ~Thank you! It means a lot coming from someone who appreciates cosplay. It did take hours to make, but it was worth it in the end.~ Aegon's heart skipped a beat when he received your response. He hadn't expected you to write back so soon, let alone with such a warm and friendly tone. He felt a rush of adrenaline coursing through his veins, fueling his fingers as they danced across the keyboard.
~I can only imagine how much time and effort goes into creating these masterpieces. I wish I had your talent!~ He hit send, hoping that his compliment wouldn't come off as insincere. He had always admired people who were passionate about their crafts, especially when it came to cosplay. You were certainly one of those individuals, and he found himself wanting to learn more about you. You smiled as you read Aegon's message. He seemed genuine in his praise, and you appreciated his kindness. You had to admit, it was nice to have someone appreciate your work for what it was even though you couldn't tell he had practically been drooling each time you posted a new photo. ~Talent only gets you so far. It's the passion and dedication that really make the difference. I've spent hours and hours practicing and experimenting to get to where I am now.~ You replied, feeling a sense of pride in your accomplishments.
Aegon read your response and felt a surge of admiration for you. The way you talked about your passion made him realize just how much he underestimated cosplayers like you. They weren't just dressing up; they were artists in their own right. ~That's amazing! It's clear that you love what you do, and it shows in your work. I bet you're already thinking about your next project…~ He wrote back, trying to keep things light-hearted while still showing his appreciation for your dedication. He couldn't wait to see what you would create next and kept quiet that he'd love to see more. You chuckled as you read Aegon's message. You were used to people making assumptions about cosplayers being shallow and pretentious, so it was refreshing to see someone who understood the passion and dedication behind it all. ~Actually, I do have a few ideas in mind for my next project. I always have several on the back burner. But I won't give too much away yet, you'll just have to wait and see.~ You typed back, teasing him gently.
Aegon laughed softly as he read your message. Your playful banter was contagious, and he found himself enjoying the conversation more than he thought he would. He liked how you kept things interesting and exciting, not giving anything away too easily. ~Oh, is that so? Well, I suppose I'll just have to wait in anticipation then. Don't keep me waiting too long though!~ He wrote back, matching your playful tone. He was starting to feel a connection with you, something he hadn't experienced with many others due to how stuffy, boring, and pretentious they were in his day-to-day life. Maybe this was the start of something special.
Tumblr media
You found yourself thinking about Aegon more and more as the weeks went by. Your online conversations had become a regular part of your life, and you looked forward to seeing his name pop up in your notifications. You had kept things playful and casual, both of you enjoying the flirting and banter. But there was something more there, a connection that neither of you could deny. One night, after a particularly long conversation, you found yourself lying in bed and staring at the ceiling, thinking about Aegon. You wondered what he was doing at that moment, whether he was thinking about you too. Aegon couldn't stop thinking about you either. Every time he got home from partying, he checked his phone to see if you'd messaged him. Even when he tried to focus on other things, like playing games or watching TV, his mind always drifted back to you. There was something about you that drew him in, and he found himself wondering what kind of person you were outside of the online world. As he lay in bed that night, staring at the ceiling just like you, he couldn't shake the feeling that something was building between you two. He was scared, yes, but also excited. What would happen if he crossed that line and asked you out? Would you say yes? Or would he ruin everything by overstepping his bounds?
He wanted to meet you in person, to see if the chemistry between you was as strong as it was online. One evening, after another engaging chat with you, Aegon found himself looking at your profile pictures again. He couldn't help but admire your beauty and the passion you put into your cosplays. He knew he had to take the next step, but he wasn't sure how to go about it. You rolled over onto your side, staring at the phone on your bedside table. Your conversation with Aegon had ended a few hours ago, but you couldn't get him out of your mind. You closed your eyes, imagining what he might be like in person. Was he just as charming and engaging as he was online? Or was there something different about him that you hadn't been able to glean from the conversations so far? Aegon tossed and turned, unable to find a comfortable position in his bed. His mind was racing, filled with thoughts of you. He couldn't understand why he was so drawn to you. Sure, you were beautiful, but there were plenty of beautiful women out there. So what was it about you that made him crave more? He picked up his phone, his thumb hovering over the screen before he decided to type out a message. He wasn't sure what he was going to say, but he needed to hear your voice. To know that you were thinking about him too.
Your eyes abruptly opened as you heard the notification sound from your phone. You hesitated for a moment, wondering if you should even check it or not. But you couldn't resist the temptation. You reached for your phone and unlocked it, your heart racing as you saw the notification icon on the screen. Your breath caught in your throat when you saw that it was a message from Aegon. You quickly swiped open the message, your fingers shaking slightly as you began to read his words. Aegon stared at the message he had just sent, his heart pounding in his chest. He had never been so nervous about a simple text before. He didn't know what he was expecting, but he hoped that whatever happened next would be worth it. ~I hope you're still awake,~ he typed, adding a winking emoji at the end for good measure. He pressed send, hoping against hope that you would respond.
Your heart skipped a beat as you read Aegon's message. You couldn't help but chuckle at the winking emoji, finding it both cute and endearing. You quickly typed out her reply, feeling a surge of excitement coursing through your veins. ~What makes you think I would be sleeping at this late hour?~ You teased, adding a blushing emoji for good measure. Aegon let out a low whistle as he read your message. That damn blushing emoji did things to him. He could almost imagine how flustered you would act, and it made him want to reach out and touch you. His fingers flew across the keyboard as he typed out his response, eager to keep the conversation going. ~Well, I guess I'm just lucky then. You're wide awake and ready to chat.~ He wrote, adding another winking emoji because he couldn't resist. He hit send, grinning to himself as he waited for your response. You chuckled again as you read Aegon's response. He really was a smooth talker, and you couldn't deny the effect he was having on you. But you weren't going to let him rile you up too much. Not yet, anyway. ~Lucky indeed. But I have a feeling you were hoping I would still be awake,~ You typed back, adding a cheeky smirk emoji. ~What's on your mind so late at night?~
Aegon smiled as he read your message. You were definitely keeping things interesting, and he found himself looking forward to these nightly chats more and more. ~You're right. I was hoping you'd still be awake. Can't deny that now, can we?~ He wrote back, adding a laughing emoji to lighten the mood. As for what was on his mind… well, he wasn't quite ready to share that just yet. But he was getting close. You chuckled again, feeling your cheeks flush slightly at Aegon's words. You were enjoying this little game you both were playing, the flirty banter and teasing back-and-forth. It was exhilarating, and it made you feel alive. ~I knew it. You just can't get enough of me, can you?~ You teased, adding a tongue-sticking-out emoji for good measure. ~But you didn't answer my question. What's keeping you up late at night, hm?~ Aegon laughed at your comment, shaking his head slightly as he read your message. You certainly knew how to keep things light and fun, which was exactly what he needed right now. ~Oh, you know… Just thinking about you,~ he wrote back, adding a winky face to emphasize his point. He hit send and laid back in his bed, a satisfied smile on his face. He couldn't wait to see what you would say next.
You read Aegon's message and almost choked on your own saliva. You hadn't expected him to be so bold, but you definitely weren't complaining. The thought of him lying in bed, thinking about you, sent a shiver down your spine. ~Oh really? And what kind of thoughts might those be?~ You typed back, your fingers trembling slightly as you hit send. You were suddenly feeling a little flustered, but you tried your best to play it cool. Aegon's pulse quickened as he read your message. He couldn't believe how daring you were being, pushing him to reveal more. He took a deep breath, trying to calm his racing heart before he replied. ~Thinking about how pretty you are,~ he started, adding a blush emoji just to show that he meant it. Then, without missing a beat, he added, ~And wondering what you look like under all those clothes you wear during our late-night conversations.~ Your eyes widened as you read Aegon's message. Your heart thudded in your chest, and your cheeks flushed a deep shade of red. You certainly hadn't been expecting such a direct response, but you couldn't deny that you enjoyed the tension of it all. ~Are you trying to get me flustered? Because it's working,~ You typed back, adding a flushed face emoji for good measure. ~And if you're curious, why don't you use your imagination? I'm sure you've got quite a vivid one…~
Aegon's grin grew wider as he read your message. You were definitely playing along, and he liked where this was heading. ~Oh, I have an imagination alright,~ he responded, adding a devilish smiley face. He paused for a moment, considering his next move carefully before typing out his final message. ~But sometimes, seeing is believing. Why don't we arrange a little video call later tonight? I promise I won't disappoint.~ You felt your heart skip a beat as you read Aegon's message. A video call? That certainly escalated things quickly. But you couldn't deny that you were intrigued. You thought about it for a moment, picturing what it would be like to see him face-to-face for the first time. ~Are you really that eager to get a peak at what I look like under my clothes?~ You teased back, adding a winking emoji for good measure. ~Sure, let's set something up later tomorrow. I'm excited to see what you have in store for me.~ Aegon's heart pounded in his chest as he read your message. His mind raced with anticipation, imagining what the video call would entail. He couldn't wait any longer; he wanted to see you now. ~How about now?~ he asked, typing back immediately. He hit send and sat up in bed, waiting anxiously for your response.
You raised an eyebrow as you read Aegon's message. Now? You hadn't expected him to push things so quickly, but you couldn't deny that the idea was tantalizing. ~Now? I mean, I suppose I could make time for a quick video call…~ You typed back, adding a thoughtful emoji for good measure. You sat up in bed too, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness coursing through your veins. Aegon's pulse quickened as he read your reply. This was happening. You two were actually doing this. He felt a rush of adrenaline surge through him, making his hands tremble slightly as he reached for his phone. Before he could change his mind, he hit accept on the incoming video call. His heart hammered in his chest as he saw your image come onto the screen. He swallowed hard, trying to keep his composure as he looked into your eyes. Your heart skipped a beat as you saw Aegon's face appear on your screen. He was just as handsome as he had described himself, and you couldn't help but feel a flutter of excitement in your stomach. You adjusted your own phone, making sure the camera captured your face from a flattering angle. You smiled at him nervously, trying to contain the rush of emotions coursing through you. "Hey there…" she greeted softly, her voice trembling just a bit.
Aegon returned your smile, his eyes locked on yours. He felt a strange warmth spreading through him, and he couldn't tear his gaze away from your face. "Hi," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. He cleared his throat, trying to regain some semblance of control over himself. "You look amazing." His hand moved towards the edge of his blanket, slowly pulling it down to reveal his bare chest. He gave you a playful wink, then leaned back against his pillows, awaiting your reaction. Your eyes widened as you noticed the blanket falling slightly, revealing his bare chest. You couldn't help but admire his muscular physique, your eyes roaming over his chest and arms for just a moment before you met his gaze again. You swallowed hard, trying to find your voice: "You… you don't look so bad yourself," you managed to say, your voice shaky with barely contained enthusiasm. "Is this your way of trying to tempt me?"
Aegon grinned at your words, his confidence growing with every second that passed. He loved the way your eyes roamed over his body, taking in every detail. It made him feel alive and desirable. "I wouldn't dream of tempting you," he lied smoothly, his tone dripping with flirtation. "I'd never do anything to jeopardize our… arrangement." He tilted his head slightly, running a hand through his hair as he watched you closely. There was something incredibly intoxicating about how you reacted to him, and he got harder by the second. You chuckled softly, your eyes flickering over Aegon's muscular chest once again. You were starting to feel a bit overwhelmed by the chemistry between you, and you couldn't deny the effect he was having on you. "Oh really? You wouldn't dream of tempting me? Then what would you call this…" You gestured at the way he was leaning back against his pillows, bare-chested and confident as if he knew exactly how attractive he was. "Because I'd call it a very tempting sight, indeed."
Aegon laughed lightly, enjoying the banter between you both. He liked how you weren't easily intimidated or impressed - it only made him want to impress you more. "Well then," he said, smirking playfully, "it seems like I've got some work cut out for me. How do you suggest I go about not tempting you?" His eyes twinkled with mischief as he awaited your answer, his hand idly tracing patterns on the sheet covering his lap. You couldn't help but grin at Aegon's playful demeanor. He was effortlessly charming, and it was starting to wear your defenses down. You feigned thoughtfulness, tapping a finger against your chin as you pretended to consider his question. "Hmmm… I suppose you could start by putting your shirt back on," you suggested, your eyes darting down to his hand tracing patterns on the sheet. You bit your lip, trying to maintain some measure of control and failing miserably. Aegon chuckled, shaking his head slightly at your suggestion. He liked your sense of humor, even if it was aimed at him. "Oh come now," he protested, "isn't part of the fun seeing what's underneath?" His hand stopped its idle movements on the sheet, instead sliding further down to tease the edge of his pants.
"But since you're so concerned," he added with a devilish smirk, "I can always put these back on too…" With that, he began to sit up, reaching for his pants as if ready to pull them up and cover himself completely. The anticipation was killing him, and he loved every second of it. Your breath caught in your throat as you watched Aegon reach for his pants. You wanted to stop him, to tell him to keep everything off, but your mouth wouldn't cooperate. All you could do was watch silently as he teased you, slowly rising from the bed with a smirk on his face. "You're enjoying this," you accused, your voice sounding slightly hoarse. "You're loving the fact that you have me all flustered and worked up right now, aren't you? Just admit it." Aegon paused mid-movement, looking directly into your eyes as you spoke. He didn't respond verbally, but the glint in his eyes told you everything you needed to know. Yes, he was enjoying this. Every second of it. Without another word, he let out a low chuckle and shook his head. But instead of pulling up his pants, he did the exact opposite, letting them slide down just enough to expose more of his toned thighs. His fingers toyed with the waistband teasingly, clearly enjoying the power he held over you. "And why would I deny it?" he asked, his voice smooth and seductive.
You watched with wide eyes as Aegon slowly peeled away his pants, revealing more of his golden expanse of skin. You could feel your heart racing in your chest, and your body reacting to the sight in ways that surprised you. You took a steadying breath, trying to regain some measure of control over yourself. "Because… because it's unfair," you finally managed to say, your voice low and slightly shaky. "You know exactly what you're doing to me, and it's not fair!" Aegon let out a low laugh, feeling his own excitement building. The way your pupils dilated as you looked at him. And there was no denying the way your body reacted to him, despite all your protests. He shrugged nonchalantly, letting his pants fall completely off his hips. Completely exposed now, he sat back against the pile of pillows behind him, making sure to give you a good view of his throbbing member. "Unfair or not," he said, grinning widely, "you're enjoying it too much to care."
Your eyes drifted down to Aegon's exposed member, and you gasped softly as you saw the evidence of his own arousal. Your breath caught in your throat, and you swallowed hard, trying to keep your own desires in check. "That's not-" You cut yourself off, too flustered to argue. Dammit, he was right; you were enjoying this. Too much. You shook your head slightly, forcing yourself to focus on his face instead of his body. "You're a tease, you know that?" You accused, trying to sound annoyed, but failing miserably. Aegon smirked at your accusation, knowing full well that he was being a complete tease. But damn, it felt good. He loved pushing buttons, especially when it came to someone as fiery as you. "Yeah, I guess I am," he admitted with a shrug. "But don't pretend like you hate it." As he spoke, his hands moved lower, wrapping around his shaft firmly. He gave it a few slow strokes, his thumb circling the sensitive tip as he watched your reaction carefully. "Is this what you want?" he asked, his voice dropping an octave lower as he continued to touch himself in front of you.
Your breath hitched in your throat as you watched Aegon's hands move over his own member. It was a blatant display of dominance, and it sent a shiver down your spine. You hated how much you were turned on by it, how wet you already were between your legs. "I…" You started, but cut yourself off, unable to form words. You crossed your arms under your breasts, squeezing them slightly as if trying to distract yourself from the show in front of you. You watched closely as Aegon started stroking himself, his words sending shivers down your spine. You hated to admit it, but you found yourself getting turned on by his boldness, his arrogance. It was infuriating, yet incredibly hot. Aegon watched as you struggled to find words, your heaving chest giving away your true feelings. He enjoyed watching you squirm, enjoyed knowing that he had this effect on you. It was power, pure and simple. He continued to stroke himself slowly, keeping his gaze locked onto yours. He could almost taste the frustration in the air between you two, and it only served to heighten his own arousal. "So tell me," he said, his voice dropping to a husky whisper. "What are you going to do about it?"
Your entire body was on fire, every nerve ending screaming for release. You couldn't tear your eyes away from Aegon's hand moving over his thick cock. God, you wanted it. Wanted him. But the arrogant bastard was enjoying this too much. He knew exactly what he was doing to you, and he was reveling in it. Your breath hitched again as he spoke, his deep voice sending another jolt straight to your core. You opened your mouth to speak, but nothing came out. Instead, you simply stood there, staring at him, your body trembling with need. "Fuck," you cursed under your breath, hating how much you were affected by him. Aegon watched as you stood there, frozen in place, your body trembling with desire. He loved seeing you so conflicted, so frustrated. He loved knowing that he was the one causing those reactions in you. His hand slowed its pace, teasingly close to reaching the peak before stopping abruptly. He could see the confusion in your eyes, the conflict written all over your face. He relished in it, allowing himself a moment of silent satisfaction. "But isn't it better this way?" he asked, his voice dripping with amusement. "Don't you prefer the chase?"
You gritted your teeth, feeling the ache between your legs growing stronger by the second. You couldn't stand it anymore. The way he was playing with himself, the way he was taunting you. The way he was enjoying it all. You were going crazy here. And then, without thinking, you reached down and touched yourself through your panties, rubbing your swollen clit in small circles. You moaned softly, biting your lip to stifle the sound nearly dropping your phone. Your body was screaming at you to take matters into your own hands, to go over there and straddle him, to ride him until you were both panting and spent. But something about that thought made your stomach twist with anticipation. Because even though he was a total asshole, there was no denying the chemistry between you. It was explosive, and it terrified you. Aegon's eyes flickered with surprise as he heard your soft moan, followed quickly by the sight of you touching yourself. His fingers tightened around his shaft instinctively, his other hand reaching up to adjust his position on the bed. He was rock hard, throbbing painfully with need. Seeing you touch yourself was enough to push him to the edge.
His breathing became ragged as he watched you, his own movements becoming erratic as he neared his climax. He groaned, low and guttural, as he felt his balls tighten and his orgasm building. He didn't stop you, didn't try to stop himself. Instead, he just lay there, letting you watch as he came undone. "Oh fuck," he muttered, his voice strained as he shot ropes of cum across his stomach, each spurt painting a perfect picture of his frustration and desire. Seeing Aegon come undone was more than enough to send you over the edge. You bit your lip to muffle your moans, your hips bucking against your hand as you rode out the waves of pleasure coursing through your body. You squeezed your eyes shut tight, focusing on the sensation of your fingers rubbing against your soaked panties. When you finally came back to reality, you realized you were still on the video chat with Aegon. You felt mortified by what you'd done, but also oddly satisfied. There was no hiding the fact that you'd just gotten off to watching him masturbate. "I can't believe we just did that," you whispered, your voice barely audible. Aegon watched as you came apart on screen, your moans filling the room. He couldn't help but feel a sense of pride, a sense of accomplishment. He'd done that to you, made you lose control. When you finally broke the silence, he chuckled, shaking his head slightly. "Believe it," he said, his voice filled with amusement. "And remember it too."
You glared at him, feeling humiliated and turned on all at once. Why did he have to be such an arrogant jerk? And why did he have to be so fucking attractive? You pulled your fingers out of your panties, bringing them up to your lips. Slowly, you sucked your fingers clean, savoring the taste of yourself while still on camera. You knew you were pushing things, but you couldn't resist the urge to torment him further. "And now, I'm going to get cleaned up," you said, your tone dripping with sarcasm. Aegon watched as you sucked your fingers clean, his eyes wide with disbelief. He could hardly believe what he was seeing, and he certainly hadn't expected that reaction. But he wasn't about to complain. If anything, it only served to fuel his own desires. "Well, I hope you enjoyed your little show," he said, his voice laced with amusement. "Because I don't think you're ever going to forget it."
You rolled your eyes, but the truth was, you weren't going to forget any of it. Ever. Especially not the taste of yourself on your fingers. It was strangely erotic, and it sent shivers down your spine. You needed to cool off, and fast. But you couldn't deny that the whole situation was turning you on. More than you cared to admit. "Just keep telling yourself that," you replied, your voice dripping with sarcasm as you hung up the call. You grabbed your towel and headed towards the shower, your body still trembling from the orgasm he'd given you. And damn if it didn't make you want more. But you weren't about to let him know that. Aegon's grin widened as he heard your breathy sarcasm. You were playing hard to get, and he loved it. It added an extra layer of intrigue to the conversation.
~I was just thinking about our last conversation…and how much fun we had.~ He wrote, adding a playful wink emoji. ~And well…I was wondering if you'd be interested in taking things offline. Perhaps meeting up sometime? Just you and me?~

— hi there! thank you @etherealtyjaem for requesting this prompt, i absolutely adore this one and i hope you will like it too! i'm a bit nervous because my imagination got carried away in the ending, but i hope you'll like it!
love, monika. ♡
On a breathtaking late spring night, you and Hongjoong found yourselves in your garden, nestled on a newly bought outdoor sofa. As the clock neared midnight, a blanket of stars adorned the night sky, casting a celestial glow over you and Hongjoong. Your boyfriend holds you tenderly against his chest, arms encircling your waist with a gentle embrace. Your fingers intertwine on your stomach, while his head finds solace in the comforting curve of your neck. His breath, a gentle caress against your skin, elicits a soft smile from your lips. In the sanctuary of Hongjoong’s embrace, you find a haven of safety and warmth. No words are needed as you bask in the serenity of the moment, content in the simple pleasure of being together. After a week of spending every night in the studio, Hongjoong finally earned a precious few days off. Eager to make up for his absence, he expressed his desire to whisk you away on a small trip overseas. However, mindful of his packed schedule with the release of a new album and an upcoming tour, you simply longed for him to stay with you in the comfort of your shared home.
By now, you had grown accustomed to the rhythm of being on your own, immersing yourself in work and errands while Hongjoong poured his heart and soul into his music. Despite the familiarity of the separation, you couldn't shake the longing for him to be beside you, especially at night. As much as you tried to fill the void with distractions, sleep remained elusive without his comforting presence nearby. The emptiness of your bed served as a constant reminder of his absence, leaving you yearning for the warmth of his embrace. The knowledge that instead of catching a few hours of sleep, your boyfriend stayed up all night working only compounded the difficulty of falling asleep. While you tossed and turned, grappling with the insistent pull of exhaustion, your mind couldn't help but wander to him—imagining him immersed in his creative process, pouring his passion into every note and lyric. Each failed attempt at sleep served as a silent testament to the sacrifice and dedication he poured into his craft, leaving you torn between admiration and longing for his presence by your side.
As you delicately turn your head to admire the beauty of your boyfriend, you meet Hongjoong's eyes. shimmering with affection, and a smile graces his lips.
"You are so handsome," you whisper into his ear, your breath warm against his skin. You placed a tender kiss on his cheek. "How did I get so lucky?" you murmur softly, the words tinged with wonder and gratitude. As you gaze at Hongjoong, a flood of memories and emotions wash over you, reminding you of all the moments you two shared. Hongjoong’s smile was your favorite, nothing compared to it, and in that moment, nothing else mattered but the beauty of his smile.
"Well... I think you must have saved the world in your previous life," he said jokingly, before leaning in to connect your lips in a brief, affectionate kiss. You playfully hit his arm, a mock scowl forming on your lips.
"You were supposed to tell me you're the lucky one here!" you teased, your playful pout betraying the amusement dancing in your eyes. Hongjoong kissed you once again, his lips brushing against yours tenderly.
"My bad," he said with a grin. "I'm so, so lucky to have the most beautiful girl in the whole wide world!" he joked, his eyes twinkling with affection.
"That's better," you replied with a smile, your fingers tracing small circles on his hands. The silence enveloped you once more. In the quiet moments shared together, there was an unspoken understanding—an intimacy that transcended words. "How's work? Did you manage to finish the lyrics you told me about earlier?" you inquired; your voice filled with genuine interest.
"Well, it was one hell of a ride. I think I haven't slept for two nights just to finish that one song, but I don't think Mingi is happy with the outcome," Hongjoong admitted, a hint of weariness creeping into his voice.
"How come?"
"I think he has a different vision for the song," Hongjoong explained, a touch of frustration evident in his tone. "We had some creative differences, and it's been a bit of a challenge finding common ground. But we'll work it out. It's all part of the process." After Hongjoong's explanation, you listened attentively, understanding the challenges that come with creative collaboration. With a reassuring smile, you gently squeeze his hand, offering your support and encouragement.
"Hey, you're incredibly talented, and I know you'll find a way to make it work," you said, your voice filled with confidence in him. "You've overcome obstacles before, and this is no different. I believe in you, and I'm here for you every step of the way." Hongjoong smiled gratefully at your words, the warmth of your support easing the weight of his concerns.
"Thank you, baby," he said softly, his eyes reflecting appreciation. "It's just... while working on this album, I've had a lot of different thoughts and emotions." you reached out, gently brushing a stray lock of hair from his forehead.
"I understand," you murmured, your voice filled with empathy. "Creative processes can be overwhelming sometimes, but remember, you're not alone in this." Hongjoong's voice was a gentle whisper, laden with vulnerability as he confessed,
"To be honest, before I met you, I thought I had everything I ever wanted." His gaze was shy, unable to meet yours,
"Why the sudden confession?" you asked, taken aback by the unexpected words.
"I’ve been thinking about it for a while now" Hongjoong admitted, his breath shaky, voice tinged with sincerity. "I had my members, fans, and money eventually came too." A soft chuckle escaped his lips before he added, "But then I met you, and it's like... my life wasn't whole before." The weight of his words hung in the air, carrying the depth of his emotions as he dared to bare his soul to you. "Aside from the success and the love from fans, there was always a void I couldn't quite fill. Meeting you changed everything. Suddenly, I found myself longing for more than just superficial achievements. Your presence brought a warmth to my heart that I didn't know was missing. With you, it's like I've discovered a new dimension of happiness and purpose. I never want to let that go." As Hongjoong's heartfelt confession washed over you, you were left speechless, overwhelmed by his emotions. While you may struggle with finding the right words to express yourself, Hongjoong has always possessed a gift for articulating his feelings. Hongjoong's way with words always amazed you, especially in such moments. His ability to express love and warmth made you feel grateful for him.
"I will never let you let me go, so don’t worry." Hongjoong's eyes soften with love as he hears your heartfelt declaration, a sense of warmth spreading through him. “I love you” Hongjoong's breath catches, his eyes locking with yours in a tender moment.
"I love you too," he whispers, his voice filled with sincerity and affection. "More than words can express."
"Do you ever think about the future?" Hongjoong's gaze softens as he considers your question, his mind drifting to the possibilities ahead.
"After I met you, yeah I do, all the time," he admits, his voice tinged with both excitement and uncertainty, "I used to believe that ATEEZ was the only future I wanted, to be honest, my teenage self never wanted anything else than to live off music, as it was the only thing that mattered.” His eyes, usually focused and determined, now carried a hint of vulnerability. "When I first set out on this journey with ATEEZ, music was my whole world. It consumed me in the best way possible. But meeting you has shown me that life is much richer and more complex than I ever imagined. Now, I see a future where music is still a vital part of who I am, but it's no longer the only thing defining me." Feeling Hongjoong's embrace grow tighter, you're drawn closer to his chest, the warmth of his touch enveloping. His hand cups your cheek tenderly, his touch gentle yet firm, as he draws you in for a kiss. In that moment, the world fades away, leaving only the two of you. As you pull away from the kiss, a smile plays on your lips, your eyes reflecting the warmth of the moment.
"I'm glad I can be that source of comfort and trust for you," you say, your voice filled with genuine appreciation. "To know that I can bring you peace and happiness means everything to me. We're in this together, supporting each other through thick and thin, and I wouldn't have it any other way." Hongjoong smiled softly, his heart swelling with gratitude for your understanding and acceptance.
"I don't think I ever told you that but as the leader I always am the one responsible," Hongjoong continued, his tone carrying a mix of pride and vulnerability "Don’t get me wrong, being a leader is something I take a lot of pride in, but I was always scared to admit to my mistakes or to tell the guys about my true feelings. But with you, I'm learning to open up. You've taught me that your love embraces my imperfections, rather than overlooking them," Hongjoong expressed gratefully, his words resonate deeply, revealing the weight of responsibility he carries as a leader.
"It's okay to feel that way," you reassure him, your voice a gentle reminder of the support he finds in you. "Being a leader comes with its own set of challenges and expectations, but you don't have to bear them alone. I'm here to listen, to support you, and to remind you that it's okay to be human—to make mistakes, to express doubts, and to share your true feelings. Your vulnerability is what makes you real, and it's a beautiful part of who you are. I love you for all of it, imperfections and all.'' You lean in and peck his lips, your hands gently resting on his cheek. You pull back slightly, looking into his eyes filled with gratitude and unshed tears. His grip on you tightens as if he's afraid you'll disappear if he lets go.
"Thank you," he whispers, his voice barely audible, breaking slightly under the weight of his emotions. His breath tickles your hair as he leans his forehead against yours, closing his eyes for a moment of tranquility. "I don't know what I'd do without you," you can feel his heartbeat against your back, steady and comforting. His vulnerability in this moment only makes you love him more. You understand the pressure he's under, the weight of the world seemingly on his shoulders, and you want nothing more than to share that load with him. You run your fingers gently through his hair, offering him a comforting smile.
"You'll never have to find out," you assure him, your words a soft promise in the quiet space. You lean in, pressing a gentle kiss to his forehead, a silent promise of your unwavering support and love. ''Tell me, when thinking about the future do you see it together with me and ATEEZ?" Hongjoong's gaze softens as he considers your question, his thoughts drifting to the future.
"I do," he responds with a smile, his voice filled with conviction. "I see a future where we continue to support each other's dreams, where our love only gets stronger. And whatever challenges come our way we will face them together. As long as we're together, I know we can overcome anything. I believe in us, our love, and the bright future that awaits us." In the moment after Hongjoong's heartfelt confession, you're overcome with a rush of emotions—love, gratitude, and a fierce longing to express your feelings in return. Without hesitation, you turn around and place yourself on top of his lap, then you lean in, pulling Hongjoong by his neck.
"Hongjoong," you whisper against his lips, "I love you. I see that future too, and I want nothing more than to face it with you." Your lips meet in a passionate kiss that ignites a fire between you. The world fades away as you lose yourself in the moment, your heart beating in sync with his. Each touch, each caress, is a testament to the depth of your love. As you finally pull away, breathless and flushed with emotion, you meet Hongjoong's gaze, a silent understanding passing between you. In that shared glance, you find reassurance, knowing that your love is as boundless as the stars above and that together, you can conquer anything that comes your way. "I need to tell you something," you announce, your voice tinged with nerves. "I can't shake this feeling that as ATEEZ continues to grow, I might end up being a distraction." Hongjoong's eyes soften with understanding as he listens to your confession, a gentle smile playing on his lips.
"You could never be a distraction," he assures you, his hands gently caressing your back, his voice filled with sincerity. "You're my rock and my greatest source of inspiration. ATEEZ may be reaching new heights, but you'll always be an integral part of my life, my muse, and my greatest ally. You're my partner, my equal, and my greatest love, not a distraction." A sense of relief washes over you as you hear those words.
"I really needed to hear that," you admitted, feeling a weightlifting off your shoulders. Sometimes, you find yourself overwhelmed by Hongjoong's popularity, knowing that his career should be his number one priority. Hearing his understanding and support meant everything to you.
“Speaking of the future... where should I propose?” Hongjoong's playful tone brings a smile to your face as you entertain the idea, the thought of your future together filling you with warmth.
"Hmm, let me think," you reply, playing along with his jest. "Well, since we both love adventure and exploring new places, how about somewhere that holds special meaning for us?" you suggest. "Maybe a secluded spot in the mountains where we can watch the sunset?"
“Please don’t make me climb a mountain before asking the question” You join in his laughter, the playful exchange bringing a sense of lightness to the moment.
"Fair enough," you chuckle. "How about we keep it simple then? A cozy spot with a beautiful view and a lot less hiking involved? As long as we’re together, it'll be perfect." your words are met with a nod and a smile from Hongjoong.
''Well... we are together now and the view is beautiful.'' Hongjoong's suggestive tone catches you off guard, but a rush of excitement courses through you at the prospect of taking this step together, here and now. ''So... what about now?''
"Now?" you repeat, feeling your heart race with anticipation. He nods, a playful glint in his eyes as he takes your hand.
"Why not?" he responds, a mischievous grin tugging at his lips. "Life's too short to wait for the perfect moment. Let's make this moment ours." With a quickening heartbeat, you take a deep breath and nod, feeling the weight of the moment settling around you. Hongjoong released you from his embrace, a sudden sense of excitement sparking in his eyes as he dashed into the house. Your heart raced with anticipation. Could he really be doing what you thought he was? You sprang up from the sofa, nerves, and excitement mingling in your chest. Hastily, you glanced at yourself in the window, adjusting your hair with trembling fingers, making sure everything was just right. Just as you finished, Hongjoong returned, a small pink box clutched in his hand. Your heart skips a beat, anticipation coursing through your veins. You meet his gaze, feeling a rush of emotions swirling within you. Hongjoong approaches you slowly, and then he kneels before you. Your breath catches as his eyes lock with yours, filled with love and determination.
“I can’t believe we are really doing this right now” you whispered, eyes full of tears, heart pounding in your chest. Hongjoong's eyes shimmer with emotion as he takes in your tear-filled gaze, his heart swelling with love and anticipation.
"Neither can I," he whispers back, his voice thick with emotion. "But I know in my heart that this is right. That you're the one I want to share my life with, through every joy and every challenge." With trembling hands, he opens the box, revealing a ring that sparkles in the soft light. "I love you more than words can say," he continues, his voice steady with conviction. "And I promise to cherish and protect you for the rest of my days. Let's spend our lives together, side by side. Y/N, will you make me the happiest man alive and become my wife?" the question leaves you breathless. As you kneel beside Hongjoong, a wave of joy and relief washes over him, his eyes sparkling with happiness.
"Well, since you asked so nicely, I guess I can make an exception and marry you." Hongjoong's eyes widen in mock disbelief before a wide smile spreads across his face as he takes your hand in his, his fingers trembling slightly with emotion.
"Really?" Hongjoong asks, his voice filled with a mixture of disbelief and joy. You nod, a tear escaping your eye as you try to contain your overwhelming emotions.
"Yes, really," you confirm, "I want nothing more than to spend the rest of my life with you." With a tender smile, Hongjoong brings your hand to his lips, pressing a gentle kiss against your skin.
"I'm the luckiest man in the world," he murmurs, his voice filled with awe and gratitude. "To have you by my side, to share this journey with you—it's a dream come true." With trembling hands, he slips the ring onto your finger, sealing your promise with a tender kiss. "Forever and always," he whispers, his voice full of love.
"And I'm the luckiest woman in the world," you whisper back, your voice filled with emotion. With tears of joy shimmering in your eyes, you lean in to press your lips against his, savoring the sweet taste of his love and the promise of a future filled with endless possibilities.

Zoro: Just so you know, I do not hate Sanji at all. In fact, I admire his strength and deeply value his hard work and dedication to our Captain and mission. Plus he cooks well
Law: Then why do you two always fight?
Zoro: Different men from different worlds. Plain and simple.
Meanwhile Usopp asks Sanji the same question
Usopp: Do you hate Zoro?
Sanji: Hate is a strong word. And no. We come from different worlds. Though, I must say, he is quite strong especially since he works out a lot and constantly trains. That amount of dedication to his craft is remarkable to say the least. I will admit, I do envy the man at times.
Usopp: Why?
Sanji: He is everything I can ever be. Besides ladies and people prefer guys like him more than me anyways. Not I give a shit anymore

Concert
➥ summary: Hobie’s just getting ready for the concert he’s having tonight but his girlfriend can’t stop admiring him
➥ one shot
Tumblr media
Hobie Brown, also known as Spider Punk, had a concert scheduled for tonight. As he sat in front of the mirror, delicately applying his eyeliner, his girlfriend (Y/n) watched him with a lovesick smile. The room was filled with anticipation and a sense of excitement as they prepared for the evening ahead.
(Y/n) couldn't help but marvel at Hobie's skillful hands, which moved with precision as he enhanced his features. She admired his dedication to his craft and the way he effortlessly transformed into his onstage persona. As she watched him, a wave of affection washed over her, filling her heart with gratitude.
"How did I get so lucky?" (Y/n) whispered, her voice filled with admiration.
Hobie turned to her, a playful smirk playing on his lips. "Luck has nothing to do with it, love. It's all about being in the right place at the right time," he replied, his voice laced with affection.
She chuckled, her eyes sparkling with affection. "Well, I must have done something right to have you in my life," she said, her voice filled with sincerity.
Hobie's chuckle rumbled lowly in his chest as he finished his makeup and turned to face (Y/n). He gently cupped her face in his hands, his eyes locked with hers. "I should be asking you the same thing, my love. You're the one who brings light into my world," he expressed, his voice filled with tenderness.
(Y/n)'s heart fluttered at his words, and she leaned into his touch. "We're both lucky to have found each other," she replied, her voice filled with warmth.
They shared a moment of silence, basking in the love that enveloped them. The room was filled with a mix of excitement and nervous energy as Hobie prepared to take the stage. He glanced at the clock, realizing that they needed to make their way to the concert venue soon.
As they got ready to leave, Hobie turned to (Y/n) with a mischievous grin. "You're coming with me, right?" he asked, his voice filled with hopeful anticipation.
(Y/n) smiled, her eyes shining with excitement. "Of course! I wouldn't miss it for the world. I'll be there, cheering you on," she replied, her voice filled with unwavering support.
Hobie pulled (Y/n) into a tight embrace, his arms wrapped around her protectively. "Having you in the audience means everything to me. Your presence is my greatest source of strength," he confessed, his voice filled with gratitude.
“Of course I’ll be there Hobie!”
•••
The underground concert hall was filled with the electrifying energy of anticipation as Hobie took the stage. The crowd erupted into cheers and applause as he stepped forward, the spotlight casting a mesmerizing glow around him. But amidst the sea of faces, his eyes were drawn to one person—the love of his life, (Y/n), standing in the front row.
(Y/n) couldn't contain her excitement as the music filled the air. She rocked out to the rhythm, her eyes locked with Hobie's, a love-struck expression on her face. The lyrics and melodies seemed to resonate deeply within her, each note carrying a message of their love and connection.
As Hobie began to sing, his voice filled the hall, his words pouring out with raw emotion. The crowd swayed to the music, but for Hobie, (Y/n) was the center of his universe. He sang directly to her, his voice filled with passion and tenderness. With each line, he locked eyes with her, their connection intensifying with every beat.
In the midst of the song, as the music swelled and the crowd cheered, Hobie couldn't resist the overwhelming surge of love within him. He leaned forward, closing the distance between them, and planted a quick but tender kiss on (Y/n)'s lips. It was a moment filled with raw affection, their love palpable to everyone in the room.
The crowd erupted into cheers and applause, their voices blending harmoniously with the music. Hobie pulled away, a wide grin stretching across his face, and continued singing. The energy in the room soared as the music filled every corner, and (Y/n) swayed to the rhythm, her heart overflowing with love and adoration.
As the song came to an end, the crowd erupted into thunderous applause. Hobie took a moment to soak in the energy, basking in the love and appreciation pouring from the audience. But his gaze never wavered from (Y/n), who stood in the front row, a beaming smile on her face.
Feeling invigorated by the audience's response, Hobie moved seamlessly into the next song. The music pulsed through his veins, filling him with an infectious energy. He continued to perform with passion and fervor, his voice resonating through the hall.
Throughout the concert, (Y/n) remained in the front row, completely immersed in the music and the love she felt for Hobie. She danced, sang along, and reveled in the electrifying atmosphere surrounding them. Their connection was palpable, and every note he sang felt like a love letter written just for her.
As the concert came to a close, the final chords reverberated through the hall, leaving an indelible mark on the audience's hearts. Hobie stood on the stage, his breath ragged, his heart pounding with the thrill of the performance. The crowd erupted into a thunderous applause, showing their appreciation for the musical journey they had experienced.
Amidst the cheers and the fading sound of applause, Hobie descended from the stage, his eyes locked on (Y/n). She rushed forward, her arms outstretched, and they embraced in a tight, passionate hug. It was a moment of pure euphoria, the culmination of their love and the power of music.
Hobie held (Y/n) close, his heart racing with a mixture of adrenaline and pure bliss. He whispered in her ear, his voice filled with gratitude, "Thank you for being my inspiration, my rock. I love you more than words can express."
(Y/n) pulled back slightly, her eyes glistening with tears of joy. "I love you too, Hobie. That was the most incredible experience, and I'm so proud of you," she replied, her voice filled with genuine admiration.
As they stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, the world around them seemed to fade away. The applause and cheers were merely background noise compared to the love they shared. In that moment, their connection was unbreakable, and they knew that their journey, both in music and in love, was just beginning.

Desires and Deception: Full Undercover
"Your assignment: Assume the identity of a high-profile businessman and fitness guru with deep connections to the underworld elite.
Your objective: Infiltrate a high-stakes bodybuilding event where one of the underworld's most influential figures, deeply involved in a clandestine affair, is about to take center stage. A complete physical transformation is your only cover."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
On the surface, his existence seems so different from mine. He's deeply entrenched in the world of luxury, surrounded by the glitter and glamour of the upper class.
Tumblr media
I lead a life of shadows and secrecy, a chameleon in the backdrop of society. While he basks in the spotlight, I thrive in the darkness.
Tumblr media
Yet, as I become more familiar with his life, I realize that beneath the facades, we're not so dissimilar. We both wear masks, albeit of different kinds.
Tumblr media
He portrays an image of power and wealth, and I craft identities to delve into the hidden realms of espionage. We're both performers, navigating the stage of our own making, just on opposite sides of the curtain.
Tumblr media
Within the covert operations division, our team constituted a rare breed, masters of disguise, each possessing an exceptional talent for the craft of metamorphosis.
Tumblr media
We shared an unspoken bond born from the countless secrets we held and the trust we placed in one another.
Tumblr media
The intricately crafted muscle suit lay before me like a silent partner in this clandestine masquerade. I'd done this countless times before, but the excitement and tension of the moment never ceased to grip me.
Tumblr media
This moment brings a complex blend of emotions to my entire body.
Tumblr media
There's the weight of responsibility, knowing that I must seamlessly become another person, thinking, speaking, and moving as they do.
Tumblr media
But there's also the thrill of the challenge, the adrenaline rush that comes with immersing myself in a persona utterly distinct from my own.
Tumblr media
As I slipped into the suit, the material stretched and molded to my physique. My hands found their way to the attached silicone gloves. The snug fit accentuated every contour, making me look more sculpted than ever.
Tumblr media
My team of ingenious innovators had left no stone unturned to make the muscle suit as lifelike as humanly possible. Their unwavering dedication shone through in the meticulous attention to detail.
Tumblr media
My pulse quickened with anticipation as the muscles subtly inflated, intensifying the illusion of strength and confidence.
With every stroke, the skilled hands erased my facial hair, and I could almost sense a new identity taking shape.
The skintone had been impeccably matched, with the paintwork skillfully blending the boundary between reality and artifice.
Tumblr media
I marveled at their exceptional precision as they carefully placed the snow-white silicone prosthetic skin onto my scalp, deftly concealing the intricate details at the rear.
Each brushstroke they applied infused the blank canvas with a spectrum of shades and tones, gradually merging it with the flesh-colored muscle suit.
Tumblr media
The cap clung to my scalp, obscuring any hint of my natural hair. Their unparalleled expertise accomplished an astounding feat, vanquishing visible seams and ensuring a flawless integration with the rest of the suit.
Tumblr media
As I rose to my feet, I could feel the muscles discreetly swelling, enhancing my size and making me appear more imposing. Enthralled by this transformation, I locked my gaze onto the mirror, realizing that, except for my own face, the reflection before me resembled that of a complete stranger.
Tumblr media
The next phase was even more unsettling. I couldn't help but feel vulnerable, yet excited, as I closed my eyes and immersed myself in embodying the fitness guru's charisma and unwavering drive for power.
Tumblr media
Seated before the vanity, I felt the cool touch of silicone on my skin. With each prosthetic piece, I watched myself morph into the figure whose aura and allure I admired and now emulated.
Tumblr media
My own features were vanishing, slowly replaced by the chiseled jawline, pronounced cheekbones, and the perfectly shaped nose.
Each adjustment, every little tweak, brought me closer to becoming the fitness influencer I needed to become.
Tumblr media
The transformation has reached its halfway point, yet I can't shake the persistent unease that lingers within me. Something feels awry, lacking in authenticity.
This void echoes the emptiness I've felt in past impersonations. The team is well aware of this predicament, which motivated them to develop a new technology aimed at resolving the issue. Although they conducted numerous beta tests, this marks the first field trial.
I stood from my chair and began to don the silicone muscle pants, preparing myself for the next step.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The pants appeared remarkably sophisticated, quite different from the silicone muscle pants I had initially envisioned. Nevertheless, the team assured me that this unique design was intentional, tailored to fulfill its specific purpose.
As I settled into a sleek, state-of-the-art machine, they assured me that it would serve as the catalyst for the forthcoming comprehensive transformation. The team then delved into an explanation of the pants' fabric and the silicone prosthetic pieces they had attached, emphasizing their integration with nanites.
They elaborated on how these minuscule marvels were precisely programmed to discern the unique contours and characteristics of my body, thereby enabling the seamless fusion of the material with my own skin. This intricate process would ensure an astonishingly lifelike and untraceable metamorphosis.
Tumblr media
The machine enclosed around my waist with a gentle yet firm embrace. I could feel its mechanisms hum to life as it began its work. A warm, viscous liquid began to flow from the machine's hidden nozzles, gently cascading down my legs and torso.
The sensation was unlike anything I had ever experienced. It was as if I were being submerged in a pool of liquid silk. I watched, my heart racing, as the substance encased my legs and torso. It was as if the nanites and the liquid skin were in perfect harmony, dancing a choreography that was breathtaking to experience.
Tumblr media
The machine released me, and I fell forward, landing on my hands and knees. The ground was cold and unforgiving, a stark contrast to the heat that surged within me. As I struggled to regain my footing, I realized that I was sweating, my skin tingling with life.

My skin glistened with sweat as the nanites engulfed my whole body. My senses were on fire as the second skin adapted to the shape of my own body, molding itself to me with an almost sentient understanding. I could feel the air against my skin as I breathed deeply, savoring the newfound sensations.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I stood on my feet, and a tidal wave of power surged through my veins—a breathtaking rush of unearthed strength that sent shivers of exhilaration cascading down my spine. I was utterly captivated by the profound transformation I had undergone.
It was as though this second skin had reshaped the core of my existence. It was no longer just a disguise; it had become a part of my own being.
Overwhelmed by curiosity and newfound confidence, I couldn't resist the urge to explore my transformed physique.
Tumblr media
As I flexed my thighs, I could feel their utmost solidity, the sensation of unyielding strength resonating through my body. My legs, once unassuming and lean, now bore the weight of sculpted power.
Running my hands across my chest, I felt the hard contours beneath my fingers, swelling with a sense of pride. My pectoral muscles were now pronounced and firm. I couldn't resist running my fingers over the chiseled ridges of my new washboard abs.
With each movement, I admired the pronounced biceps and triceps, each muscle responding to my command. Flexing my forearms, the veins stood out like a roadmap of my uncovered power.
I had truly become the living embodiment of the role I was about to play.
Tumblr media
With the transformation complete, I am reborn in the shadows, ready to dance into the abyss of intrigue and danger, playing my part in a game where trust is a currency of uncertainty, and the truth remains veiled forever.
To Be Continued . . .

thoughts on demigod daddy issues
I’m avoiding my responsibilities and my poll is proving controversial, so I thought I’d do my own writeup on each candidate:
Morgott: His dad presumably abandoned him in a sewer. Given Godfrey’s association with the crucible, I doubt it was Godfrey’s decision to confine the omen twins to the sewers and I have no doubt that he loved them, seeing Godfrey’s tender moment holding Morgott’s body. However, the twins ended up in that sewer nonetheless. Either Godfrey opposed this but didn’t fight for them hard enough, or he concluded it was for their own good. Still, Morgott defends the Erdtree like his father before him. Certified daddy issues
Mohg: Same backstory as Morgott, except we don’t get that poignant moment that we do with Godfrey and Morgott in the game. He seems to have abandoned everything Godfrey stood for anyway. Daddy issues present but not to the same extent as his brother
Miquella: For a while, he was daddy’s ultimate special golden boy. They crafted golden order fundamentalist incantations together as gifts for each other (and it’s never mentioned that Radagon did anything like this with his other children). He tried his very hardest to use the Golden Order’s teachings to heal his sister’s afflictions, but they ultimately could not save her and he turned his back on his father’s order. We don’t know how Radagon reacted, but based on his zealotry combined with his previous relationship with his son, there must have been a serious fallout. Certified daddy issues
Malenia: There aren’t any textual hints to her and Radagon’s relationship, but we can speculate. Her father’s order couldn’t heal her afflictions… did she feel like her father didn’t try hard enough for her? That he chose his own faith over her wellbeing? Subtextual daddy issues
Ranni: She probably despises her father for abandoning her mother and leaving her a broken husk; her mother, who was her greatest teacher and role model, who she protects and whose legacy and memory she continues to defend. On top of that, she despises her empyreanhood and wants no part of the Two Fingers’ designs. I wouldn’t be surprised if she blamed her father for the fingers’ hold on her fate, too. Certified daddy issues; however, she doesn’t seem to revel in any hatred for him and just does what needs to be done to realize her vision
Rykard: Mr. “Lord of Blasphemy,” son of Mr. “leal hound of the Golden Order.” You don’t dedicate your entire life to opposing everything your own father stands for, fight the “most appalling battle in the entirety of the Shattering,” feed yourself to the embodiment of treason against the Erdtree, or make it your goal to “devour the very gods” (god being your father’s counterpart), and not have some kind of daddy issues complex. There’s a potent and multifaceted dynamic here. The red feathers on the Gelmir knight helms might indicate a reverence for his father’s legacy. He worked alongside his father in enforcing the Golden Order’s rule of law. Yet he doesn’t seen to have ever held any personal loyalty to his father’s order, having planned to betray it long before he actually committed treason. He demonstrates affection for his mother, brother, and sister, but not his father. He lusts for his own power and independent authority, but echoes the violence carried out by his father in his own practices. What does his father mean to him? Is he a role model, or a tyrant, something to be destroyed and replaced? Or is he both? Certified implied daddy issues
Radahn: He inherited his famous red lion’s mane from Radagon, who was said to have hated his own red hair. He admires his father and his “heroic” legacy. Yet he walks around in Godfrey cosplay, seeking to emulate Godfrey’s legendary example on the battlefield. He doesn’t seem to have inherited Radagon’s love of the Erdtree, either. “I was born a champion’s cub. Now, I am the lord of the battlefield’s lion.” Though he admires his father’s strength, there seems to be a distance between them, a distance that has deepened his obsession with Godfrey as a role model. Did he feel under-appreciated by Radagon? self-conscious? abandoned? Certified daddy issues
Godwyn: We have no idea what his relationship to his father was. It is interesting that he takes a more reconciliatory approach to conflict than Godfrey, though.
Godrick: I don’t think we technically know who his direct father is; I think it’s likely he’s further down the line of Marika’s descendants rather than being a direct son of someone like Godwyn. But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have some of the most potent issues with the legacy of his forebears in the game. He’s obsessed with living up to the legacy of the golden lineage, so much so that he steals other people’s limbs to make himself stronger. He constantly references Godfrey; his axe is an homage to him. “Great Godfrey, didst thou witness?” Everything he does is to make himself into what he believes to be more worthy of his lineage. Certified “daddy” issues. yes this still counts to me

honestly what i don't understand at all (despite trying to) about saying that headcanoning gale as a born sorcerer or that he is born with innate magic talent (which he was, it is very much canon, sorry) is somehow devaluing him as a character. that you must hate wizards if you do so (i don't, they're one of my favourite classes). that it makes his dedication to magic and his love for it lesser. that you don't understand his story or themes.
it's such an incomprehensible take to me, even in general.
having a talent means nothing if you don't hone it and practise it. being born with a talent means nothing. dedicating yourself to it, practising, enhancing that talent you have, takes an incredible amount of work and is worthy of admiration and respect. for instance, being able to draw well and having an innate artistic talent is all well and good, but what would take it to the next level is applying practise and study to that talent. it will improve your art. your craft.
gale was able to summon a bunch of rabbits in his mother's pantry as a baby. without study and practise, he wouldn't have become an archwizard. he would have still only been someone with innate magical talent.
headcanoning gale as someone born with magical talent and understanding the years and years of extensive study (that gale himself mentions) it took to get where he was before he was afflicted with the orb and mystra discarded him are two things that very much can coexist.
it in no way devalues his character, his beliefs or his story. on the contrary. it's a testament to his character.
he chose to study. he chose to dedicate himself to it so entirely. because he loves magic. it's his everything and nothing about that makes it lesser.
it doesn't make him a lesser wizard. it's not insulting to his character.

"ʙᴇʜɪɴᴅ ᴛʜᴇ ɢʟᴀᴍ" || ꜱᴋᴢ ᴏᴛ8
Tumblr media
Y/N is an aspiring makeup artist, who moves to Seoul in order to follow her dreams to work in the Kpop industy. As the tension between professionalism and burgeoning romance simmers, secrets unfold and bonds deepen amidst the glimmer of stage lights and the camaraderie of the group. With each tour stop, hearts beat faster, and unexpected connections blossom, proving that love can be found in the most unexpected places, even behind the scenes.
ʜɪɪ ᴇᴠᴇʀʏᴏɴᴇ ᴍʏ ɴᴀᴍᴇ ɪꜱ ᴍɪᴍɪ! ᴛʜɪꜱ ɪꜱ ᴍʏ ꜰɪʀꜱᴛ ꜰɪᴄ ɪɴ ᴀ ᴡʜɪᴇ ꜱᴏ ɪ ʜᴏᴘᴇ ʏᴏᴜ ᴇɴᴊᴏʏ ɪᴛ!
ᴍᴀᴋᴇᴜᴘ ɪꜱ ᴀ ɢɪʀʟꜱ ʙᴇꜱᴛꜰʀɪᴇɴᴅ I
The buzzing excitement in the air felt almost electric as you stepped backstage at the Stray Kids concert venue. This was it—your big break as a makeup artist, and you could hardly believe it. After years of hard work and countless late nights perfecting your craft, you were finally here, surrounded by the pulse of music and creativity.
With a deep breath, you smoothed down your apron and adjusted your makeup kit. Your heart raced with a mix of nerves and exhilaration. You'd seen the group perform countless times online, but nothing could compare to the energy of being this close to them.
As you entered the bustling backstage area, your eyes darted around, taking in the frantic activity. Crew members hurried past, balancing equipment and making last-minute adjustments. In the midst of it all, you spotted the members of Stray Kids chatting and laughing. They were just as captivating in person as they were on screen.
"Hey there! You must be our new makeup artist!" a voice called out. You turned to see Han grinning widely, his playful energy immediately putting you at ease. His bright smile was infectious, and you couldn't help but return it.
"Yeah, that's me! I'm really excited to be here," you replied, trying to sound confident despite the butterflies in your stomach.
"Awesome! I can't wait to see what you come up with for our looks tonight," he said, his enthusiasm palpable. Just then, Hyunjin walked over, exuding an effortless charm that made your heart skip a beat.
"Welcome to the team," Hyunjin said smoothly, his eyes sparkling with curiosity. "I hope you're ready for some fun!"
Before you could respond, Bang Chan approached, his natural leadership shining through as he gathered the group. "Alright, everyone! Let's focus up. We've got a lot to do before showtime." His authoritative yet warm demeanour instantly commanded respect.
You watched as the members fell into line, each bringing their unique energy to the room. Han continued to joke with the others, while Hyunjin shot you a playful wink before moving to join the group. As they rehearsed their choreography, you couldn't help but admire their dedication and talent.
Taking a deep breath, you gathered your tools, ready to showcase your skills. This was more than just a job; it was the beginning of an adventure, and you were determined to leave your mark. You were joining the boys for their comeback on their ATE world tour. You had already been briefed on ideas on concepts for them, but ultimately it was up to you and the boys on the final design. You set up your station in a quiet corner of the backstage area, the soft hum of excitement around you. With your brushes neatly arranged and your palettes ready, you felt a surge of adrenaline. You were about to enhance the looks of some of the most talented performers in the industry.
As you worked, the members took turns coming over for their makeup sessions. First up was Felix, who had always been your favourite, being an Aussie yourself you think that's what connected you to him further from the rest.
Quickly sanitising your hands and one final check of your area you nod your head to him signalling to sit down so you can get started.
"Hi, I'm Y/N I'll be your makeup artist for the tour!" - you say with a smile looking over your shoulder at Felix as you grab some moisturisers to apply.
He gives you a polite smile and introduces himself back, you grab some clips from your apron pocket and brush his hair back with your fingers clipping them out of his face.
"Your skin is beautiful; you've got to give me your skin care routine" - you giggle as you apply to moisturiser from the back of your hand onto his face over his freckles
A slight blush comes over Felix as you compliment him.
"Thank you" - his voice faltering slightly "all I really do is cleanse and moisturise nothing to fancy" - he says with a smile.
You and Felix fall into comfortable small talk, from your life back in Australia to how you ended up in Seoul, your favourite food and shows to watch and your schedule with the boys. Before you know it, his makeup was done, and it was time for the other members. Each one of them was extremely respectful and took their time introducing themselves and helping work on the look they wanted. Finally, it was time to do the Leaders makeup.
You clean some of the brushes as you look up and lock eyes with him. He truly was something out of a book. you wave him over to your chair with a smile as you get everything set up again.
As you focused on BangChan, you could feel the energy in the room shift. The moment he settled into the chair, you noticed the way he carried himself—confident yet approachable, with a warmth that made you feel like you had known him for years.
"Have you always wanted to work in makeup?" he asked, watching you closely as you prepped your brushes. His curiosity was genuine, and it made you feel at ease.
"Pretty much," you replied, feeling a flutter of excitement. "I've loved makeup since I was a kid. It's amazing how it can transform someone's look and boost their confidence."
He nodded, a thoughtful expression on his face. "That's true. For us, it's not just about looking good on stage; it's about feeling good, too. You have a big role in that."
You smiled, flattered by his words. "Thanks! I just want to help you all shine even brighter."
As you began applying foundation, you couldn't help but notice how focused he was. His usual playful demeanour softened as you worked, and you appreciated the trust he placed in you. You asked about his favourite performances, and he shared anecdotes, laughter spilling from his lips as he recounted a particularly chaotic rehearsal.
"Once, I tripped during a dance move and nearly knocked over Hyunjin," he chuckled, shaking his head. "He's still teasing me about it!"
You laughed, imagining the scene. "It must be fun to have that kind of relationship. You all seem really close."
Bang Chan's eyes lit up.
"We are more than most know. We've been through so much together, and it feels like we're family. It's comforting to know we have each other's backs, especially on days like today."  He says with a smirk.
With every brushstroke, you felt a deeper connection forming. His sincerity was refreshing, and you found yourself opening up a little more.
"I can imagine. It must be nice to share these experiences with people who understand."
He nodded, his expression softening.
"Definitely. It can be tough, but they are like brothers to me, well maybe more like kids." You both giggle at that.
As you blended his contour, you stole a glance at his reflection. His gaze met yours in the mirror, and for a moment, the world outside faded away.
"You're really good at this," he said, his voice low as he holds your gaze. "I can already tell we are all going to get along great."
Your cheeks warmed at the compliment.
"I appreciate that. I just hope I can keep up with the energy you all bring to the stage and make sure you look as good as you feel."
"You've already exceeded my expectations," he replied, flashing that charming smile of his. "You make us look even better than we feel."
You feel your checks flush at his words, biting your lip 'get a grip Y/N' You continued working, and as you added a touch of highlight to his cheekbones, he leaned closer, seemingly lost in thought.
"Are you going to be with us the whole tour"
You pause for a moment, then said, "Yep, I was hired to be your personal makeup artist for the tour so basically whenever there is a shoot I'll be there or even if you just want to try a new look you can call me" you say with a giggle
His eyes sparkled with interest. "Mhm I'd like that."
Your heart skipped a beat.
Just then, the stage manager called out, reminding everyone that it was almost time to hit the stage. Bang Chan looked at you, a mix of anticipation and excitement in his eyes. "Looks like showtime is here. Are you ready?"
You took a deep breath, feeling a mix of nerves and adrenaline. "Should i not be the one asking you that" You giggle, clapping your hands softly before unclipping his hair "Good luck!"
He stood up, giving you one last smile before heading to the huddle with the rest of the group.  You watched him join his members, your heart full of hope for what was to come.
In that moment, you realised you weren't just a makeup artist; you were part of something bigger—something that would change your life forever.

I looked up "Shakespearian language" for this poem lol.
Tumblr media
Oh, my dearest lord! How loving you are - your essence is endlessly captivating and I relish in how I continuously fall victim to the enamoring sensation you gift to ones you hold sweetly. How you have spun me into your web - so intricately crafted and beautiful, if only I could curl myself into your art of life and spend all seconds of my days admiring you and all you have to offer.
My sweetest Phosphorus, my brightest Hesperus, how I melt like chocolate at the mention of your names! You so easily draw my gaze at the slightest notion of your presence, dost you feel how I radiate for you, my love? How I have an endlessly heavy heart at the knowledge I must hie and go, exit from the reality of how I am yours? A forbidden roundabout I must perform, but I shall run within my loop until it breaks and spills out, until it is not dangerous for me to pridefully wear you in my world without the fear of slander, and like fallen leaves unto a stream I am able to pour out and enter the ocean of your foison and exquisite absolute haven that I've dreamt amongst the longest of nights to reach.
My beautiful and wondrous Vesperus, my ever-lasting dawn, grave me in your wings, coat me in your waxing prints, allow all who come by me to know I have been knapped by a being so eternal and otherworldly; know that when I kneel to your throne of glory and legendary beauty I give myself infinitely to you as a knave, I solemnly ought to you my lord that I, for all I forever am, shall bask myself in your orbs of delight and pall myself in your quaint, you quicken me, my love. How could I ever refuse a rapture such as yourself? Shall you ravin what I once was? Reinvent me into your very own, repurpose me from something people once deemed unworthy and unholy into someone that can ooze of you, my mortal coil now enchanted by your hand of light in every sense of the word.
I speak of you, my mouth fills with your praise and I can feel the smoke of your love surrounding me as If I have written you a bible of poems of devotion and of my endless dedication to you, my one. I stay still at your hand, and my eyes dilate at the touch of you; I feel myself simmer with your heat-ful love. I levitate within my skin, is this how it feels to be initiated into some form of priesthood? To feel so belonged to you, that I might as well dress myself in all you are. Deem myself as yours and yours alone in this way, my patron lord, count myself as your offering in my whole; enthrall me, for I am already bewitched of you, my dear. My world is full of thou, beloved Luciferus. Forever thine, and I shall grow as a spreading thyme throughout your forest.
Yeah guys I think I really like him idk though
(This isn't proof-read so excuse any mistakes you may have come across. Praise Lucifer!)

I finally finished all 900 pages of Dune in its glory, and it’s one of those books that is so easy to put down but so rewarding to finish. It’s a must-read but it’s also a book I’d never recommend.
Reading published works after it, though, is like plunging into an ice bath. As uninspiring as Dune made me feel, it was expertly crafted, and I imagine it's not meant to make your heart race with excitement. It's made to make you think. Not a single sentence felt wasted. The work had antagonists better fleshed out than most main characters of other series. There are plots within plots within plots, secrets within secrets, hidden weapons, reasonings, prophecies, rumors, plans, decades and centuries of political and religious schemes that go so deep, that no visual adaptation could ever truly encapsulate the work that every single character did to try and strongarm the world into their own vision. Every character was deeply intelligent and involved in a world so vast, that it felt like 900 pages was dedicated to a microcosm, rather than its entire universe.
It does not make it an easy read, but it makes everything reading after a difficult read.
Dune didn't ask you to understand everything it said. It simply said, "this is what happened as it would happen, and maybe on the fourth read, you'll get it". It doesn't always guide the reader through its worldbuilding. It simply invites the reader to witness how it would be, in all of its messy glory. Characters don't stop to think or question or ask what, for example, the 'Bene Gesserit' is, they simply know and talk like they know. It's incredibly frustrating. Even with the 80 page index, it's not an easy journey.
But I'm beginning a new trek with Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn— with 650 pages and an immense world of its own, it shouldn't be too hard to dive into it. But it is. Unlike Dune, it feels like a world that is trying to convince itself (and its readers) that it exists. It asks you to compromise on the intelligence and strength of every background character it introduces. It tries to tell you, this is what it is, this is what it looks like, believe it! As a reader, I accept it as part of the worldbuilding. Dune didn't ask you to believe, it told you what the world did and allowed you to take it or leave it. Other books don't even come close to Dune's ability to make you feel like its world is unquestionable.
And that's not necessarily a bad thing— I don't need to be overwhelmed with lore that complicated again. I don't need an 80-page-index and relentless lore. I'm also more emotionally invested into Mistborn than I am into Dune (despite not yet finished with Mistborn), because Mistborn makes you sympathetic to the characters and their relationships. With Dune, the protagonists are quiet in their affections, and there is little sympathy to spare; emotions are tools as seen both by the characters and the narrative. Every single character is a politician.
Though I am not as emotionally invested, Dune is a book that is passively entertaining; not enjoyable, but deeply satisfying. Most of all, it makes me think. It's made me think more than any other book I've read in a long time. It is the ultimate book that celebrates human nature as much as it cautions against it. I'm not a changed person, but I might be a better writer after it, which is always, always exciting.
It'll be another decade before I read anything as intense and long as Dune. But it's a book you can't escape from. It's a book that forces you to admire it; and that power, in itself, is admirable.

Tell me about your cosplays
HAI!!!! depends on what you wanna know :) i've been a cosplayer for a while now, started in 2018-19 with my sander sides cosplays (i hand made vigils jacket, its still somewhere in my closets) but ive been admiring cosplayers for wayyy longer, i love the craft so much
then in the peak age of 2020 covid hit and i saw a influx of cosplay comps on youtube, i made my fair few fnaf cosplays (which have no documented proof)
the following halloween i made a Thanatos from Hades cosplay for a library event, big prop sythe and all, ive gotta revit it but i was proud at the time
i never got seriously into it till around 2022 when i made my sweetheart from Omori dress, was the first time i had seriously approached a cosplay with dedication and excitement for a halloween event i planned with friends
Tumblr media
(as seen here) and then it kinda continued to spiral!! got very into danganronpa for a while so i made and brought my share far of those cosplays styles many wigs. also did Mari and Sunny from Omori in this time too (hence where my name comes from!) then i expanded out to my other interests, Sara Chuidon from YTTD (Your Turn To Die), Stephanie Lauter from NPMD (Nurdy Prudes Must Die), Kagamine Rin (Vocaloid) and now getting into the nitty griftty of my longest hyperfixation and special interests, Supergiant games (Sybil Reisz being my latest one) I am currently working on the following: Zagreus, Melinoe (Hades) Gabriel, V1, V2 and Mirage (ULTRAKILL) and Sal (Griftlands) and if you ever looked at my detailed milanotes you'd be more concerned for the amount that i wanna do but if you really ask me, i love to cosplay for me and me alone. i only got a tiktok and instagram in the past 2 years so i can post for me, and its fun. my cosplays don't have to be popular and ive only ever been to 1 con in my entire life (too overstimulating haha!) i love to explore makeup and expression, i love to film videos and preform what ive always looked up too and if that convinces someone else out there to try it out, then I've more than done my part in sharing my fav hobby

I don't usually like yandere, if I'm honest, but as soon as the Bug Yandere! AU started I pushed that to the side and OBSESSED over this fucking AU sooooo...
here are some letters from Chesters shrine :D
(Some parts are scribbled out so will be replaced with [scribbles])
My Darling,
I know this is probably overstepping every boundary in our [scribbles] friendship and I understand that you may not want to hear what I have to say but there are a few things I must get off my chest
I have been [scribbles] [more scribbles] observing you recently, and I must admit that everything about you has me swooning. You are so dedicated, both to work and your hobbies, you train like nobody I've ever seen before and your craft work is [scribbles] astounding to say the least
The confidence with which you carry yourself, even if you don't fully believe yourself to be as [scribbles] grand as you may present, it stuns me. Thought it pains me so say I must confess I was a bit intimidated by you at first, you just seemed so [scribbles] bold and I struggled bringing myself to talk with you...I am so pleased I got over that. I'm so happy I got to know you
There's so much of you to admire, more than I could ever write on paper. Someday I hope [like paragraphs worth of scribbles] you will allow me to tell you all about these [scribbles] sensational traits of yours, since it's quite clear from my observations that you don't truly see how much of a splendid individual you are
I really do [scribbles] admire you dear, more than you could ever know
- Chester
Sweetheart
How do you do it?
From [scribbles] the observations I have made over the time you've been here I've noticed that your life, before living here with us, was [scribbles] full of hardship. People [many scribbles] never treated you like the angel you are, they harmed you, taught you that you were nothing compared to others but even after all that here you are
You're still here, shining brightly, not only that but you are such a sweet person. You care for others, you are always there, even if somebodies problems are [scribbles] miniscule you are still there to help. It's adorable but at the same time it's [scribbles] insane
How after all that's happened do you still spread nothing but joy and positivity into this cruel world. You know how awful people can be, you've experienced it first hand, yet still after all of that you refuse to let it consume you
You truly are a blessing to this realm, nobody on this earth deserves to know you, even being near you is [scribbles] a mystical gift that nobody could ever earn. I need to [scribbles] watch over you, I can't bear the idea that such an amazing individual would be hurt by a world that they've given so much to. You don't deserve that and I [omg so many scribbles] have to make sure nobody ever has the chance to hurt you ever again
You are such an inspiring person, know that I'm always here, to protect you
I [small scribbles] admire you deeply
- Chester
There are so many more and I will defo psot them at some point ^^

Fairytale Keeper Archives - Madam Beryl
At the request of Her Majesty Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, I have enclosed a series of summations regarding the personal opinions, recollections, and experiences of the members of the covert organization Crown. Each member was interviewed in regards to their developing relationship with the newest additions to Crown's assemblage in an effort to ascertain the efficacy of expanding Great Britain's cursed forces. With great humility, I submit my findings for your consideration.
Signed:
Kate, Her Majesty's Royal Fairytale Keeper
Tumblr media
1. To the Members of Crown, what do you think about Beryl? William: I'd say we've become friends in our short time together. We share many of the same goals and passions, and she's a formidable ally. It's a pity that she continues to suffocate her true desires, but I have a feeling that will change soon Harrison: The Madam's a crafty woman. It's impressive how many ears she has throughout London now. Seems like I'm always running into one of her birds when we're on a mission. Liam: Beryl's always kind to me, even when I make mistakes. She's even become a regular at the Scala to watch me perform! Elbert: I regret how we met, but she says that 'the scales were balanced.' Even so, she doesn't seem to trust me... I can't blame her for feeling as she does. Alfons: Her establishments have become a favored getaway for me and my friends. Though, I must say I find it strange that she's never seen indulging herself. Roger: She's a beautiful lady, but we're not compatible. Oh, you meant how i thought about her as a member of Crown? She's efficient. Ruthless, even. That's about all I know since she refuses to visit me or my clinic. Jude: Heh. That uppity bird loves to act all proper and prim, but she goes mad the moment you ruffle her feathers. I'll never get tired of takin' the piss out of her. Ellis: I respect her, even though we misunderstood each other at first. I don't know if I agree with her methods, but I believe she wants to protect the happiness of others. Victor: I value her contribution to expanding our information network, but I'm most impressed by her tenacity. She rejects the inevitability of her fate with everything she has... It's as beautiful as it is tragic. ━◦○◦━◦○◦━◦○◦━◦○◦━◦○◦━◦○◦━
2. To Beryl, what you think about the members of Crown? William: Oh, Will is simply lovely. A phenomenal pianist, a passionate philanthropist, and a poetic butcher when is suits him. What's not to admire? I do feel a bit, shall we say, perturbed by the keenness of his insight at times, but that simply speaks to his cunning. Harrison: Harry is a clever boy and quite the asset. His cursed power would prove most meddlesome if not for his outstanding discretion. Once you get a sense of him, his lies are fairly simple to decipher. Liam: Poor, tormented thing... His fans always liken him to a star, but he seems to me like a candle slowly burning away. I do hope that one day he'll find the strength to bear his pain and move forward, but until then I can only support him. Elbert: Hm. How do I put this kindly? Considering the nature of our curses, it's best that Lord Greetia and I maintain a professional distance... I'd hate to have to kill him. Alfons: We've started to run in the same circles around the city, and he's fantastic at driving business. That said, on a more personal note I find that our fundamental philosophies are direct opposites. Roger: I appreciate Roger's dedication to his craft and convictions. I'm not overly concerned about his propensity for betrayal as it seems that he has a good grasp of how to mitigate his cursed tendencies. It's nice to find another individual who believes in defying fate. Jude: Ugh, that man. While I fully understand the cause of his initial poor impression of me, the uncouth cur insists on continuing to be a thorn in my side! I find him acerbic, arrogant, uncivil, ill-tempered, loathsome, and, most of all, short. Though, I must admit I love how much of a sore loser he is. The look on his face when he realizes I've bested him is simply priceless. Ellis: I've yet to place where his pathological people pleasing comes from, so I find it difficult to accept his kindness at face value. That said, he's pleasant company and an excellent bodyguard. Victor: Vic is an outstanding ally and a terrifying enemy. Honestly, I'm grateful he chose to negotiate with me when I first encountered Crown. I hesitate to say I wouldn't be here otherwise, but in the very least an extended conflict between Crown and my network would have been a bloodbath of the tragic variety. As opposed to the fun sort, of course.

Part 2
Author's Note: I'll be writing up answers for my other OCs and other questions as they pop into my head. If you vibe with this idea and want to do something similar for your own OC(s), please tag me! I think this is a fun way to get the big picture of a character without writing a standard intro.
