matty’s hand slams over the front door, half covering the 102 painted on it—her flat number. jules doesn’t bother caring. for one, his hand is holding onto her waist, his mouth hot on hers, kissing her with such hunger that her head spins. and she knows there’s a near zero chance carly would be home on a friday night and not out somewhere with adam.

“i, um,” she just stares at him like a fucking idiot.

the house is dark, quiet, none of them had bothered to stop and turn on the lights of course. but she can see a clear outline of his face in the moonlight, can see the slight confusion in his eyes.

“you know, stuff guys usually do…” she finishes weakly, hoping he’d just carry on. she just wants a good shag, not to play twenty-one questions. turns out whatever she says is the wrong answer.

“no, jules. i didn’t ask what guys usually do, i asked what do you like.”

“i like…” she bites her lip and stares at him, at his now messed up curls and dark eyes. “i like whatever you like.”

another moment passes and matty steps back a bit more. her stomach flips. how is she fucking this up so badly and they haven’t even started yet? is she not supposed to let him do whatever he wants? she’d done all the things right, too! given him verbal consent, quite the enthusiastic consent if she thinks about the cab ride back home…

“jules,” he blinks, “are you…are you a virgin?”

“what? no!” she’s so taken aback that she lets go of his t-shirt, crossing her arms in front of his chest. “i was in a three year long relationship, matty, why would you think i was a virgin?!”

he holds his hands up, trying to placate her. “then how the fuck do you not know what you like?”

“uh-huh,” matty blinks, “and can you tell me what you did?”

“now?!” her voice rises another octave.

“yes, jules.”

the more she stares at him, the more she realises just how serious he is. they’re still touching each other, she can still feel his hardness pressing into her thigh and can still feel wetness pooling between her legs. but there’s also the mortification of the situation.

“ugh, fine,” she croaks. “we did…well, the usual—”

“specifics, please.”

“well,” she looks to her feet, flushing a little, “my ex was my first. and only.”

“and that’s all you did…” matty clears his throat but jules isn’t stupid. she knows what a forced normal tone sounds like. “missionary and blow jobs?”

a lump forms in her throat. matty is the last person she needs stupid judgement from. she turns her face to one side, lightly pushing him away.

“maybe this was a bad idea—”

“jules, jules, listen to me,” she’s surprised when he holds her face between his hands, cradles it almost, “we can figure out what you like, okay? if you still want that.”

a small part of her knows that she’s got this all wrong. that he’s not trying to be judgemental and an asshole. maybe he really is trying to help, and he’s just shit at communicating it.

“we can just focus on you today. i can go down on you and we’ll stop there…”

“oh.” she blinks a little, trying to get rid of the stinging in her eyes. “uh, i don’t know, my ex said… he said it’s not really a great experience for girls?”

the way his jaw drops is enough to clue her in. jules waits for the ridicule, waits for him to laugh at her inexperience or just nod and continue kissing her. instead he shakes his head and stands up a little straighter.

“do you trust me?”

does she? she doesn’t even fully know him. matty seems to read her face like she’s an open book.

“look, i know we don’t really know each other. but as far as this is concerned, just sex, do you trust me?”

something in her gut tells her to say yes and so she nods, softening a little.

“and do you still want to have sex with me?”

“yes,” she admits, “i do.”

she waits for more questions, waits for some other remarks he might have. instead matty leans in and kisses her. it’s not as rough as the last time, but she won’t exactly call it a tender kiss either. it’s somewhere in between, like he simply wants her to forget the world and focus on him. and so that’s what she does.

moments later, jules is back to touching him, his skin and his hair and the buckle of his jeans. matty moves her hands away gently.

“let’s focus on you today,” he says. “jump.”

okay so. I think SoTN Maria has actually my absolute favorite design

This is a girl of action! She still looks super duper pretty and elegant, but you can tell that she uses those legs to run and fight. Very unique among the largely non-action ladies Kojima has designed. Also, ohhh those colors! Those greens! I love the green and gold palette! She looks more of a plant lady than an animal lady, but it works :3 (funnily enough, she even has green eyes, even though as a child she too had blue yes lol)

The shoes are also similar to SoTN Richter's boots, hinting at their connection!

Then there's Shanoa my absolute girl, not designed by Kojima and it shows, but it's not a bad thing!

This is what I call goth wife. Look at her. The raven hair, the armored boots and chest, the torn but flowing dress, the feathers of her sleeves, all topped off by the cutest ribbon. She fits the CV aesthetic while standing out as this new, unique protagonist. also i am not a lesbian but

Sadly not many pictures of her :( but look! She dresses like a French maid! All frilly and elegant with the cutest ponytails! But she also wears red riding boots which look surprisingly masculine compared to the rest of the outfit. It's why I like to headcanon her as a tomboy :3

And of course, Julia in her gorgeous purple dress

It took me way too long to notice that she has a purple gem hanging around her neck. Much like Isaac's little blue gem. They're siblings despite being so different <3 same for the bangs, which kind of resemble Isaac's, just away from her face. But aside from that, she looks lovely while also older than she's supposed to be (can you believe she's only 20?), which can be because she suffered hardships in life.

[wanderer!scara, modern au!scara x gn!reader] fluff, pinches of angst, mentioned mommy issues and trust issues !!

modern au scara !!

Scara is definitely a band kid and in my opinion, he'd absolutely be an electric bassist. He carries around the band-aids you gave him so he can use one whenever his fingertips get cut from the tough strings of the instrument.

Scara loves judging everybody in his classes and making people uncomfortable because he's a menace like that. His narrowed sapphire gaze following certain people with ill thoughts and a slight grimace; you already know he's judging them real hard.

It's simply impossible for him to go a day, no, even an hour, without his headphones and downloaded music from his favourite artists. Scara's music taste consists mostly of Chase Atlantic, Artic Monkeys, TV Girl, Cigarettes After Sex and he's a closeted Mitski listener.

Mommy issues and miscommunication trope with Ei. Scara aspires to be anything else but the occupation Ei suggested for him. Ei compares Scara to his sister, Raiden, without knowing it hurts Scara's feelings because she's bad at communicating and getting her words right overall.

Shops at Hot Topic and Miniso. Miniso, because he only goes there for the Kuromi stuff that reminds him of you (since you're always telling him how you and him are literally Kuromi and Badtzmaru) and Hot Topic is self-explanatory.

Adding onto the Kuromi and Badtzmaru topic. Ever since you made that comment, Scara ended up loving that specific pair of cute Sanrio characters. He now owns a Badtzmaru hoodie (yours is a Kuromi one: hashtag couple goals), five Kuromi figures and more than thirty things consist of Badtzmaru in his bedroom.

Scara's bedroom is neat but messy at the same time. The room is fairly big and he has his bassist on its stand in the corner of the room with a huge Badtzmaru plushie sitting on the floor by it. His bed is filled with your gifts of plushies from past dates or occasions.

Scara has an area dedicated to his favourite music artists with posters of their albums plastered to the black painted wall. You bought him TV Girl's French Exit vinyl for his birthday, which he always plays on the record player whenever you come over or when he's missing you (by missing you, I mean whenever you're not with him).

Everytime you mention a new song you like, Scara immediately learns it on his bass so he can impress you. You find it so cute how these little gestures of his are all for your compliments and affection when all he could do is breathe and you'd be head over heels for him.

Scara is unfiltered, cunning and a tease. He'll say whatever he wants at any given time and doesn't mind what people think at all (he fights back the urge to rock someone's shit when they disagree with him.) He's your cute little drama queen.

Wanderer's favourite time of day is when the sun starts to set and he gets to have his long awaited tea time with you. You know the perfect way on how to make his tea and it's so natural to the point of when Wanderer tastes any other tea, it just can't compare to the way you make it.

Despite loving you very dearly, and he'd never admit this last bit aloud, he still has some sort of doubt against you. Should something happen to you that marks your permanent disappearance that neither you or him could prevent, what would he do? Wanderer simply does not know. And he certainly wouldn't want to know.

Wanderer enjoys the feeling of your hands in his hair. Whether your hands are soft, rough, cold, or warm, he doesn't mind. He just loves feeling your gentle and affectionate touch against his head as you play with his hair or even braid some strands together.

In general, Wanderer loves physical touch. Holding hands, soft kisses and hugs; It's all so wonderful to him. It makes him feel wanted and loved, like you actually think of him dearly. He loves it especially when you initiate it first. After that, he'll be more than comfortable doing it without waiting for you to do it ahead of him.

Wanderer keeps all of the silly trinkets, gifts and letters you've given him in a box that's kept in a very safe place where no one knows, not even you. Everytime he comes across it, unknowingly to him, a soft smile forms on his lips as he remembers the fact that he's this important to you.

Wanderer absolutely adores it when he makes you smile or laugh. He'll proudly smirk and throw in a teasing remark at this but is hiding the fact that he's just an embarrassed doll with an adorable lover. He loves making you feel good, both verbally and physically, as it feeds his ego and reassures him that he's doing great at being your beloved.

Wanderer's gifts for you are usually handmade, like the cute doll that looks like you which he got to keep so he could give you a doll that looks like him in return. He loves seeing you carry the doll around with you when you want to take it out of your messenger bag, holding it so gently as if it were Wanderer himself.

Whenever you're not paying attention, Wanderer looks at you and observes you. He loves noticing new little things about you, like the way you make little popping noises with your lips when you're bored or the way you subconsciously reach out to hold onto his hand. He adores every, single, little thing.

Wanderer often finds himself trying to impress you. If he sees you walking about, he'll immediately find something heavy to pick up and "coincidentally" run into you so he can make sure you see his amazing skills. You find this habit of his somewhat adorable as you smile and praise him for his strengths. He ends up getting quite flustered, in the end.

Depending on Wanderer's mood, he'll be very flirty one moment or very shy the next. If you manage to outdo him with his charming comments, trust me, he turns into the cutest blushing mess ever. He'll look away as he denies your question about whether he became timid or not.

ten hobbies to try out this winter ₊˚｡⋆❆⋆｡˚₊

baking/cooking - These two are like versatility Olympians; they are fun to do, they are a useful skill, they make your house smell great, they make your house warm in the winter, and they produce perfect holiday presents. That's right, you can bake/cook up a storm then pass the food around as presents. It's actually a really sweet gesture. I'd fold if a pretty girl brought me homemade food.

reading - You know that blanket you cozy up in for bedrotting? Cozy up for reading instead! (Btw if you're genuinely bedrotting ignore that, take all the time you need, and try and rebuild your spoons <33 Seasonal depression hits different) Actually though, reading a good book is one hell of a high. It's like you never want to put it down. Winter is the perfect time to find that book! My favorite books of all time include The Secret History by Donna Tartt, Bunny by Mona Awad, and The Hunger Games Series! I recommend finding more recommendations from book bloggers like Dakota Warren or Kalilah D.

ice skating - This one isn't for me, but it is such a beautiful winter sport. If you're the active type and you like a challenge, you should look into skating!

blogging - You heard me right! You've been thinking about starting that Tumblr blog? Now is the time to do it! Everyone is stuck inside on their phones, you should give them something to read! Also it's a really nice way to find community, even if it is really small. Nothing makes me happier when someone reblogs my posts with a hashtag of them rambling. I read it all every time.

writing - For me personally, writing is more than just a hobby it's a lifestyle. I take it way to seriously, don't be like me! Have fun, find writing prompts online, cozy up with Google docs, and put on a playlist. Write a romcom or a mystery or a poem or a journal entry, it doesn't matter as long as you're writing! It is just the most wonderful form of self-expression, and I think everyone should try it at least once.

working out - No, not as in your "winter Arc", as in having fun! It's hard to get physical in the winter, don't make it harder by seeing it as a chore. Find something you like, such as dance workouts or weight lifting. Just make sure whatever you're doing, that you enjoy it. I think those treadmill playlists Allieh Bennett makes on TikTok seem super fun. If you guys don't know, they are playlists designed to sync to your treadmill run!

drawing - I am serious girl (or anyone else reading this)! You don't have to be good at art to do it. Go get yourself a pencil and dollar store sketchpad! Personally, I am trying to learn how to draw portraits and it's very calming. Imagine it: It's cold outside, you're cuddled up with pillows and blankets, you light a candle, and- most importantly- you pull out a pencil and some paper. You can draw anything! You can draw flowers, friends, yourself, characters, optical illusions, or literally anything else! If that still intimidates you though, I highly recommend color books. They are a great alternative, and I love them.

painting - Everything I said about drawing applies here. Also, during the winter, there are probably some great inspirations all around you! Between the weather and the decorations, you've got loads of landscapes to replicate. If that sounds like too much though, try paint by numbers. They are just as cozy and perfect for winter.

crocheting - Okay, so this may be the most difficult one on the list. Yes, even more difficult than ice skating. But, at least give it a shot! People who have the patience to really learn this hobby can make some incredible things- especially for winter. I'm talking scarves, sweaters, blankets, and gloves! I also recommend hand crocheting. It's a lot simpler and you can make a nice, chunky blanket with it. I hand crochet when I'm nervous so I don't pick my face, actually. It's very useful.

bracelet making - Now this is the last one, y'all. Thanks for reading this far! This hobby seems like so much fun and it's so personal. There are all kinds of ways to make bracelets. I mean you can make charm bracelets, bead bracelets, rope bracelets, and even clay bracelets. This one is great for winter too, because once again you're gonna need presents! Make a bracelet to go with your favorite winter jumper, then you can make your bff a matching one!

First impression: I think my reaction to her in the pilot was immediately being charmed by her adult self while with her younger self I both felt the awkwardness of her and felt second hand embarrassed by it, but was immediately intrigued on both fronts

Impression now: she’s an excellent character who I love a lot, she’s probably my fourth favorite yj in my current ranking (there are like 6 girls on the show who I love Very dearly so). Her Mona Vanderwaal slay is so real

Favorite moment: snorting all of Natalie’s cocaine for her an iconic classic. if I’m picking another example would go with her coming out of that therapy tank with the conclusion that she’s done nothing wrong in her life and is a closer not a murderer. sheee <33.

Idea for a story: I know immediately post s2 I wanted to write a fic about her grieving and hallucinating Nat and probably cannibalizing her body, now two of those three things have happened in canon now but there could have been far more of the second one and it’s kind of fucked up the third thing didn’t happen on this show so. Unpopular opinion: not unpopular on tumblr but unpopular with casual viewers I’m p sure; can not fucking stand Walter or Mistywalter. hashtag get a job, get away from her. In terms of the core fandom, I guess I just generally find discourse about Misty exhausting because a lot of the morality discourse is a) silly to have on this show and b) a lot of the traits of hers that spark discourse are things other chars have just less obviously (although it’s very funny that now a lot of the discourse torch has shifted to Shauna now that chars in universe have started realizing these things apply to Shauna so that’s. lol)

Favorite relationship: If Mistynat has 1000 fans then I am one of them, if Mistynat has 1 fan then I am that one and if Mistynat has no fans I am dead.

Favorite headcanon: not a specific headcanon but I hope she did something Extremely weird with Jessica Robert’s body.
