This was such a fun, feel-good read (except for that short bit when I just wanted so badly to know the truth 😩). Just what I needed on my last day of break.

The entire ensemble was lovely - each member shone through on their own way and it was so enjoyable to read them all interact. JK was incredibly hot - bashful but kind and comforting, it wasn’t hard to imagine him doing and looking all this. And OC was so commanding and lovable; their dynamic was fun and flirty and filled with so much tension. It was such an easy read; you don’t notice you’ve 36k words, it’s like you watched it. There’s always something interesting happening, even their short moments of introspection that add so much to the story. 😊

Always love Shanna’s stories! Just thoroughly enjoyable and incredibly well-written 🥰 I especially loved that very first flashback scene; it really set everything up - the tension, the humor, the connection, the sweet moments. Definitely another story to get lost yourself in!

The one where Jungkook thinks that you're somehow dating your six brothers.

Talon placed a glass of scotch on the table and pushed it toward Varus, leaving it at a midpoint on the table so as not to press the man into drinking if he did not wish to. "Merry Christmas," he said, his voice hinting perhaps toward an exhaustion that had not been there before. He inclined his head toward the other man, before smiling and taking his leave, leaving every bit as quietly as he had approached. (Modern AU)

The man looked up, brows furrowing. Talon’s face was quite familiar by this point but it didn’t stop him from being surprised. His eyes dropped to the bottle, taking in the brand and type silently. He hummed briefly and reached to draw it in and examine it a bit closer.

“Merry Christmas,” Varus spoke as if there was more he wanted to say but didn’t chase the man as he left, gaze tracking his movements out the door. Fingertips tapped along the bottle’s edges and he considered how he might repay Talon’s generosity towards him.
