Just stumbled across this. It was actually coined by me (post here) because the only winter and snow related genders I could find were focussing a lot on the cold. Stormy made the flag for me. And nivei and nivalis are latin and mean something like snowy, snowwhite or snowcoverd (at least that what online dictionaries told me).

Niveigender was coined by Tumblr user the-gender-collector-emself on February 17, 2020.

Niveigender is described as “a snowy, chill gender that’s kinda soft. A light cover, also very soothing. Equivalent to ‘that person is male’ would be this person is nivalis.”
