Killer Frost’s P.O.V
“Can you believe that we destroy Central City in only one day?” I told Barry, well, Savitar.
“Yeah, everyone is freaking out with all the streets frozen”
“I guess winter arrived early”
“Now I love winter thanks to you” I smiled, but my smile wasn’t a proud smile, when you are evil and everything goes well, your smile is a proud smile but this smile was a honest smile.
“And now I love smiling more thanks to you” Savitar stand up and gets closer to me.
“You are going to smile more when Central City become ours”
“I think is ours already” Savitar smiled and caress my cheek.
“I don’t understand how Barry can only love you like a friend”
“He is in love with Iris”
“Yeah but you were with him since day one, and you still being with him, well, with his evil part”
“I prefer his evil part more”
“Why? Because this part loves you like something more than a friend?” my heart start beating faster, and for a moment it was like the cold inside me disappears.
“Maybe” I looked away and took a deep breath “Let’s go and destroy the city a little more before Flash can fix it”
“He is faster, maybe he fixed the city already”
“You are double faster, don’t doubt yourself”
“Now I know why Barry always believed in himself, because of you. You make me believe in myself too”
“Stop remindinming about Barry, the only thing are you gonna get is that I will become Caitlin again. You said that I’m not Caitlin anymore and you are right, I’m not Caitlin and you are not Barry”
“When you discover that I was Barry, or a part of him whatever, you inmediataly decided to help me, if I was someone else, will you do the same thing?”
“Stop it, now” Savitar laughed.
“Fine. Let’s be bad together and destroy the city”
Savitar’s P.O.V
I have a thing with Killer Frost, I don’t know what it is but I like to see her nervous when I am closer, I love her smile.
And damn, she was sexy.
“You don’t want me to make you another suit?” I asked.
“Why I would want another suit? I like this one”
“But everyone can see your legs” Killer Frost laughed, another thing I love, her laugh.
“When people see me, they don’t see my legs they just run scared”
“I don’t doubt that Barry has seen your legs”
“Are you jealous or something?” she told me with an ironic smile.
“No”
“You are blushing”
“No I am not, villains doesn’t blush or feel something at all”
“So I’m not a good villain after all”
“What do you mean? You feel something?”
“Don’t worry, I don’t feel something for Barry, I feel something for you”
“I know that you were in love with me”
“Why you just shut up and kiss me?”
“I would do it, but I don’t want to be frozen”
“Don’t worry, I can control myself” and she really control herself when her lips found mine.

echoes of our pain
For Snowbarry Week ‘17
Title: echoes of our pain    Prompt: Soulmate AU Summary: It's something Caitlin has lived with for as long as she's been alive. Bumps and bruises and cuts showing up when she's done nothing to earn them. But that's what happened when your soulmate got hurt, you shared the pain. But unfortunately for Caitlin, her soulmate was a bit of a klutz. Premise: When one soulmate gets hurt, the other gets hurt as well but not as much (more like half the pain), since they are receiving secondary pain. So cuts, bruises, fractures, etc only last half as long.
It's something Caitlin has lived with for as long as she's been alive. Bumps and bruises and cuts showing up when she's done nothing to earn them, but having to deal with their pain nonetheless. Everyone had to, of course, because that's what happened when your soulmate got hurt, you shared the pain. But unfortunately for Caitlin, her soulmate was a bit of a klutz.
Caitlin's parents knew the soulmate bond - they shared it with each other and knew the consequences - but no parent liked having to see their baby girl wake up from her nap, crying pools of tears because she had a bump on her head or a cut on her knee. The two young parents nearly had a heart attack when Caitlin came home one day after school with a black eye and cut lip for they've heard the horror stories of soulmates from people at work or on the news - people manifesting nasty injuries and sometimes cases ending up in...death, and all they wanted was to shield their daughter from it, but they knew they couldn't.
Once Caitlin was old enough to understand what was happening to her and why, she didn't feel so frightened anymore. In fact, she made up stories for each of her soulmate's injuries - like he fell off his bike, tripped over his dog, sliced his finger while trying to help his mom with dinner, etc. And if anything, the pain made her feel hopeful. She was the smart girl in school with no friends, always skipping grades, but the injuries reminded her that she had someone out there that she was connected to - her ultimate best friend. So she'd trace the little cuts and bruises, knowing that he was out there - albeit out there seemingly tripping and falling over everything - but out there, and hopefully he was as anxious to meet her as she was him.

Day 7: Soulmates
When Barry Allen was born, the words “how could you possibly know that” were tattooed on his arm. No one really knew how to interpret those words, but they did know that whoever says them was the boy’s soulmate. Caitlin Snow’s arm read “where am I”, which confused her for most of her life. Who on earth would greet a girl with “where am I”? Eventually, she just listened closely to every conversation around her, trying to place it into context. One December night, Harrison Wells’ particle accelerator exploded, turning about 15% of Central City citizens into so-called “metahumans”. Barry Allen had been struck by lightning that night and was thrown into a nine month coma. Suddenly, Barry’s eyes opened slightly, revealing the blurry faces of a long dark-haired male and a brunette woman. “He likes this song,” said the male, smiling. Then, Barry heard it. The one sentence he’d been waiting his entire life to hear: “How could you possibly know that?” Barry tried to sit up, move, do something but he was frozen in place. D*****, why couldn’t he move? Finally, Barry was thrown forward. He looked around, confused. Where even was he? “Where am I?” Barry sputtered out. The woman, who apparently was Barry’s soulmate, was shocked. “What did you just say?” She walked towards him, a faint smile painted on her face. “I-I said ‘where am I’.” Barry grinned. “Caitlin, what the heck?” The man walked over to them, and noticed the two sets of words written on the pair’s arms. “HOLY CRAP, WE JUST BROUGHT SOME SOULMATES TOGETHER!” The man threw his arms in the air in triumph. “And, pardon me asking, who are you?” Barry looked to the man. “Oh, sorry.” He stuck out a hand. “Cisco Ramon.” Barry shook the outstretched hand before turning to Caitlin. “I’m so glad I found you.” “And in the weirdest of situations.” Caitlin laughed.

Perfect 10 - Chapter 2
Tumblr media
Caitlin rubbed her hands together, bundling up for the winter season. The last bit of frost had gotten to her and she was having a hard time hiding her discomfort. She stopped off at a random diner that seemed warm enough to hang out in until she went back. She brought in her whiskey, hiding it in her coat for safe keeping. She knew she was going to need it in her mug as soon as it was placed in front of her.
This place seemed like between nowhere and goodbye. People came and went but the owner noticed everything, it was odd. She felt at home here; more here than her real home, wherever that is.
She took a seat in the far right corner of the diner, away from anyone really noticing she was there. Too late.
The waitress came by to bring her coffee and ask her what she wanted to order. She absentmindedly said something small, a slice of peach pie, skipping right to dessert was the mood she was in right now. She thought about what she was going to do now that her itinerary was screwed for the next several months. Going it alone was her preference, but deep down, she needed someone to guide her along the way; although, she would never admit it to herself or anyone else who knew her.
The juke box played some soft jazz as the rain outside began pouring down harder. It would have been a depressing scene but she found it all calming. She laid her head on the cool surface of the table. Shutting her eyes was an option but her pie came in front her and she barely lifted up her head to stare at it.
She grabbed her fork and dove in, eating it slowly as she thought again of her situation. It wouldn't be so hard to plan everything out herself, not having a coach would look bad, the marks, judges, people don't like to see skaters without their coaches. It looks bad on your reputation, not that Caitlin was at all concerned about that right now. She wasn't America's Sweetheart or anything.
She pulled out of her thoughts when she heard someone burst through the door and go directly to the bar table. His brunette hair was in his eyes that were dripping with rain droplets and his black leather jacket was soaked in the downpour.
He huddled his shoulders, shaking off his wet jacket and threw it into the closest booth. Caitlin watched him closely, she'd never seen him before and he looked like he was making himself at home. Must be a regular, she thought. She realized she was staring and veered her attention away for a moment when the waitress brought over the check. She asked Caitlin if she would like anyone else and Caitlin shook her head.
She knew her phone was low on its battery but she brought it out anyway. She checked the calendar looking at all the notes she made for future practices. Getting up at 5am wasn't going to cut it anymore. She had to do double load now, or bite her tongue and find a new coach. Going back to the basics wasn't what she cared for but it was unfortunate that Jack had to quit right before Nationals. He knew how important these competitions were to both of them and he didn't care.
Maybe she should have been nicer, actually put some of her pride aside and listened to what Jack planned for her. She thought about it, letting it swirl around her mind and shook her head. Even if Jack basically did all the mechanical work, there was no passion in anything he gave; she didn't feel like she skated because she loved it. She felt like she was skating to win. And she did, but that wasn't the main reason why she did it.
10% was left and she was getting bored. Jack hadn't called her back, this looked serious. Now was about the time he told her to meet for a late practice. She'd complain but she still went. She didn't really think this one was different.
"Hun, are you doing OK?" The waitress with the short red hair asked her as she took the $5 bill Caitlin had laid down.
Caitlin clasped her hands together; wondering if that was a loaded question that deserved a real answer or one she would ignore.
"Yeah, I guess," she said, making eye contact. "Thanks for asking."
She didn't look too convinced but she nodded, "Alright then, do you want me to call someone? It's pouring out and very cold. Do you have someone to pick you up?"
She looked at the red bar on her phone indicating an extremely low battery and bit the inside of her cheek before blurting out, "A cab, I guess. Thanks." She said quietly, giving a small smile.
Stuffing her phone in her pocket she crossed her arms, the scowl returning to her face before she could stop it. She didn't ask for this, she couldn't help but think she was cursed, like she'd end up like her family. Destitute and alone, the waitress looked at her like she wanted everyone to, with care and compassion. Shame she had to find it in a stranger's eyes for it to mean something.
Her eyes drifted to the man that shook off his jacket. He seemed to keep to himself and Caitlin was curious how well he was taking it, he looked like something out of Rebel Without a Cause, rocking the bad boy look but his demeanor seemed anything but.
He stared in her direction as she looked away, embarrassed at her gawking. She didn't come here to stare at guys that dressed like wounded souls. She placed a hand on her phone and knew by the cold temperature it was dead. No sense to calling anyone herself, it was a relief that the waitress came. The one good thing about the town is even if people who claimed to care about you didn't, there was always potential hope in a stranger. Caitlin thought it had something to do with the religious attitudes in the city.
Maybe if she had Jesus on her side, her shitty life would improve, she thought better. Life doesn't quite work that way.
"It's ready, sweetie, this one is on me. Go on and use the phone in the back." The waitress spoke, gesturing to the back.
"Thank you." She stood up, her eyes still on the guy who stared back at her.
He seemed to be looking at her with an unreadable expression. She just rolled her eyes and dragged her tired and frozen body to the back. She felt his eyes on her but paid it no mind. Their phone in the back wasn't always working so she prayed it would connect this time. She didn't feel like calling her coach Jack-Off, she opted to phone an old friend from training camp. She was always polite to Caitlin, when she parted ways she gave her contact information. She doubted the girl was available, especially during training season, but Caitlin had no one else to rely on.
She took a chance and left a message, short and to the point. Fighting back the tears, hating the situation she was in. She was going to be the first person in her family to make something of herself. This wasn't heading off to a great start. She looked around, making sure the waitress wasn't around and picked up the phone again, dialing a taxi, as if she could afford the ride, she had to try.
She shrugged, this was as good as it's gonna get. Hopefully she can get by on half the cab fare, the studio bed wasn't very far and at the same time she didn't know the type of driver she was going to get. Same as the bus driver, the straight "pay up" or the more lenient "it's OK gimmie what ya got" kind. She shoved her hands into her jacket pockets touching what little money she brought.
She almost paused as she walked back to her table. She spotted the guy from before with his back turned, a phone loosely hanging against his right ear. He looked deep in the discussion, with a smile pasted over his face. She couldn't help but smile herself, it was slightly contagious despite her situation. She was about to break down but this small moment of happiness managed to bring her spirits up.
Caitlin shook her head and went back to her table, sipping from her mug. The waitress must have come over to refresh her drink. She shouldn't be drinking coffee or whiskey this late at night but she didn't care. She went without a full night's sleep many times, she'd be lucky if she got 3 hours tonight.
"Is everything alright dear?" The same waitress came by, leaning over with a concerned expression.
Caitlin smiled slightly, tight-lipped and uncomfortable. "Yeah, it is. Thank you. Are you 24 hours?"
The waitress, named June, raised her arms like it was a ritual. "Since 1925, do you have a ride now?"
She nodded. "It's coming. If they decide to brave through the storm."
"Oh darlin', they come rain or shine, snowstorm or thunder. Let me know if you have enough for the fare. They do up charge this time of night, sadly."
"I understand, thank you." She thanked her. Caitlin had a feeling it was going to be difficult where money is concerned.
The waitress reached deep into her apron pockets to pull out a $20 bill with a proud smile. Caitlin realized it was her tip money and she was about to protest.
"Take it, you need it more than I. Chin up dear." She said, placing the bill in her protesting hand.
As the waitress held her hand a bit longer before walking away a car suddenly honked outside and Caitlin knew what that meant. Her ride was here.
Barry breezed through the doorway of his favorite diner that was almost in the middle of nowhere, that was how he wanted it. The less people around, the more privacy he had. Too bad he would have to drive out to get any. Leaving his phone at home didn't take. He ran back inside to fetch it purely for emergencies only. He wouldn't pick up frivolous calls that wasted his time.
It seemed like lately everyone just wanted a piece of his time and all he wanted was to be anonymous. He wanted the world to be blind to his actions, if only for a day, maybe longer. As much as he can get. Barry wasn't an idiot. He knew there was going to be something or someone that would tag him, not just in social media but in real life.
He loved diners like these. He had only been to this particular one a few times and enjoyed the atmosphere. Nobody knew, or they don't care who he is and it felt amazing. He looked around and there was practically no one around. Except for one. A girl, seemed like she was trying to hide herself. She was sitting with her legs up, hair disheveled matted by the rain, staring into the black screen of her phone.
She finished the rest of her pie and sat back until the waitress came over with his coffee. She had the kindest eyes he'd ever seen. Almost as kind of his mother's. She went over to the girl sitting in the corner, staring into space and frowned. She looked down on her luck until her face pulled up as the waitress came by to freshen her mug. The girl spoke slow and gave a sad smile as the waitress gestured to the backroom. Maybe to make sure she had a ride. They always had phones back there just in case.
Barry always made sure to let his driver know where he is and if he needed a lift back. Any one of his friends on the team could have spotted him a ride, but he didn't feel like relying on either. He drove here by choice. There was no way he was going to pass this up. The rain was coming down hard but he didn't care, he new car could take it and so can he. He loved venturing out on a rainy day. He got excited by the downpour more than he thought.
Just as he was thinking about it, the girl stood up slowly and walked to the backroom
Barry stood up and walked over to the diner bar and leaned over until he saw the waitress, June, pop out from the corner.
"Everything fine?"
"Yeah, it is, umm, just had a question if you don't mind...who is that girl that came in? You know her?" No matter how many times he stepped out on the ice he never sounded more nervous as he did asking that question.
"She's been coming here a lot. Figure skater, not quite so popular, she's training for nationals. Don't think she has anyone. Why?"
Barry shrugged, acting nonchalant. "Oh, no reason. Just curious. She come here every day or?"
"Mostly, I see her once a week. She always looks so sad, the poor thing. She isn't homeless, but I don't believe she has much."
Barry nodded. "You think she might need a ride home?"
"Probably. I can drop some of my tips for cab fare but I don't got much myself. I don't think she would trust you...umm?"
Barry stuttered before he reached over to shake her hand, "Barry, kind of laying low right now. Not trying to draw attention to myself."
June accepted, "Well you've come to the right place then."
He smiled as he pulled out a $20 bill from his thick wallet. A small gesture, but it had to look real, the girl clearly wasn't going to trust a stranger, so he had an idea.
"This is yours, hold on to it. And uh, when she comes back, offer it to her, she will think it's yours. Make sure to put it in her hand if she refuses. She seems stubborn."
June took the bill and looked at him questioningly. "Alright. But it's not gonna be enough. I mean, she doesn't have much. They will up charge due to the weather."
"She'll give it back to you, trust me. It's yours to keep. The cab won't be taking her home." Barry commented with confidence in his tone.
It was strange, he didn't want to do this, but he was pulled to. If only to get the girl's name.
Barry winked as June placed the bill in one of her apron pockets. She eyed him pretending to be on phone until she saw Caitlin walk slowly to her table, almost placing her head down. She pulled the mug toward her, taking a sip, realizing that June had refilled her mug and saw that as her cue.
June walked away as she felt Barry's eyes upon her, she had no idea what was going on but his protection over this stranger made her feel slightly at ease.
Barry watched as he pretended to end whatever "call" he was on. He only hoped she wasn't scary, she just looked sad, down on her luck.
He watched the scene play out as June handed her the bill and then a honk coming from outside startled everyone. Barry walked closer to the table as she stood up slowly. She looked to the bill, biting her lip if she shook go outside. She held a look of guilt. She felt the money in her hands before looking up instantly.
Barry shared a look with June as they heard tire skids and the headlights backing away. The girl's eyes went wide.
"No, oh god. Don't!" She rushed out as she found herself running outside to watch the cab drive off.
Barry almost got to the doorway but backed up as the girl ran back inside, her hair drenched from the rain but she looked like she didn't care. She was about to break down.
"Dear, what is it?" June asked her.
"He, I knew this was gonna happen, look, I think I'm going to just wait for my friend to come. I knew these sons of bitches were going to pull this shit." She stomped her foot in a huff.
Barry knew this was a bad time, so he overlooked the cursing, he probably would have done the same thing had he been in a similar situation. But that was rare, if he wanted something, he got it. His phone buzzed and the girl turned to look at him as he checked the ID.
The girl turned to look at June, coming forward with the cash, placing it down. "Look I'm sorry, I have to give this back to you. I know it's against the rules but I would like to wait here until my friend comes by. I made sure to call her in case...just in case of whatever."
That was when Barry came forward and asked her aloud, "Do you need a ride?"
The girl turned with a tired look on her face, confused at the question. "What? Who are you?"
"I was asking if you want a lift? If your friend doesn't come then I don't mind driving you."
She sighed, feeling that something wasn't right. He narrowed his green eyes about to move closer when she stared directly at him.
"It's not even that far. If I start now, I can get there myself." She said, her demeanor was dead, so were her words and that terrified Barry.
He knew they were strangers but he didn't care, he had a feeling she was going to be stubborn and he hated being right.
"That's crazy, if it's close then let me take you there."
The girl, sensing he wasn't letting up rolled her eyes and plopped back in the corner of the diner.
"I'd rather wait for my ride, thank you." Her tone wasn't mean, just fatigued.
Barry's body grew tense. Somehow he thought of what June said, that she didn't have anyone. But it was getting late and colder. If her friend did come by he knew she was actually going to tough it in the rain. He wouldn't let her do that.
He looked at June and grumbled as he went over to take a seat across from her. June looked as confused as he but he wasn't going to give up.
"You're probably asking, why is this stranger offering to help me out?"
She said nothing, just folded her legs and looked down. "No..."
He nodded slightly. "You were, I would too if I were you. Hell, I don't even know you. But where I come from people help people, doesn't matter who they are. That's how I was raised."
She tightened her jaw, "I don't need your help."
"I can see that." He said sarcastically as he gave a hard stare.
She glared at him. "What?
"Let me help you." He said, simply.
Thunder rumbled, the rain wasn't slowing down, it only sped up. More poured down, hitting the rooftop of the diner. Everything can be heard from outside. Barry observed the girl's rigid body language.
"Come on." He spoke gently.
The girl was hesitant. Barry knew she more than likely had no choice, not that he didn't think there was someone coming, but it seemed like no one was. The girl avoided his eyes. They held more truth than she wanted to say.
Barry stood up and held out his hand. The girl looked at it strangely, almost like she had never seen a hand reach out to her before. She took a deep breath, her body unwind as she reluctantly touched her hand to his and stood up.
"Let's go." Barry whispered, he didn't want to intimidate her anymore by talking too much.
Part of him was terrified of what might happen, but he took a chance, hoping not to regret it at the end of the night as they walked out to his car.
"So…" he started, clearing his throat, "I'm sorry, you are?"
"Caitlin..." She gave shyly.
"Where to?"
"Umm, you can get off at I-80, it's 3 blocks to the left." She released the directions and sat back with a frown as she felt his eyes on her.
Caitlin hated her luck, this guy, whoever he was offered to take her home free of charge? She wasn't used to people being nice to her, it was better to assume the worst and avoid the mess. She knew the person she called wasn't coming, no one was, but she couldn't let anyone know that, she didn't even want to accept it herself.
But here she was, she wasn't cold or soaked in the rain. She was cared for. Someone actually cared about her and wanted nothing back in return. No such thing. In Caitlin's world all people ever did was take, take, take. You get used to people and their attitudes; the world is black and white, right or wrong, no in between.
She clutched her small worn jacket around her shoulders, feeling more warmth as he turned up the heater to the highest mark. She insisted to sit in the backseat and he didn't protest, he let her do anything she wanted and she ignored the tears that had fallen down her cheeks as soon as she got in. She wiped her eyes as this stranger began driving in the directions Caitlin provided.
He said very little, probably because he was scared too. She got the feeling he was trying to hide his face. Not that he was famous or anything, that kind of thing didn't happen in their town.
She felt his eyes on her and checked the overhead mirror only to have him look away briefly. The corner of her mouth rose slightly. She didn't know how to take him staring at her. She knew she looked a mess. Probably the most red neck, trailer trash she's ever looked. Everything she wore was hand-made or discounted. He was probably shaking his head at her wardrobe. He was dressed quite casually himself, but there was a hint of sophistication he had to his style. Like he stepped out of the '50s, a time when men were men.
Everything he did had a gentleman's flare. He seemed to good to be true. Caitlin pushed that notion aside. When exactly were there great men anymore? Her father didn't give much inspiration for her.
Her destination was getting closer and Caitlin had her hand on the door handle. She hoped this guy wasn't going to ask her anything else or worse, follow her.
"OK, this is it. Looks like the rain slowed down a little. Hopefully it won't pick up again." He said as he pulled over and turned off the engine.
"Thanks." Caitlin told him, she stopped when she realized she forgot something. "I just realized I don't know your name."
He turned around completely facing her, pausing as he opened his mouth, "It's Barry."
Caitlin's face softened, almost hesitating on her quick escape. She found herself as she held his eyes, big mistake.
"Thank you, Barry." She said softly, preparing for the long walk to the studio she stayed in.
"Are you gonna be safe?"
Caitlin paused but then continued on out, closing the door behind her. As she walked on, she was hit by small droplets of rain and placed her hood over her already matted hair. She didn't want to stare at him too long; it was already starting to distract her. If she wanted to compete for the big time, she would have to avoid guys like Barry, no matter how sincere he sounded.
Barry just had the weirdest night ever and he wasn't sure if he should go after her or leave it alone. This girl, Caitlin was her name? She looked troubled. So far beyond anything he dealt with personally. All his life he was surrounded by people who were there for him, it was rare he got this close to someone, other than giving his time and effort to charity. But that wasn't the case here as much as he would conclude.
Caitlin didn't feel like charity. She just seemed...not part of his world. He stood parked for a few moments until he realized he had to get out of there. It wasn't exactly in the safest part of town, and he was alone, with no chaperone.
He backed out and drove the rest of the way home as he pondered if he would ever run into that girl again. If he had, by chance, he wanted to know her real story.

The Visitor - Chapter 1
Caitlin checked herself at security and took a deep breath before walking through the detectors at Iron Heights state prison.
She couldn't believe what the world was coming to. Barry Allen is in prison. Her worst nightmare had come true. She knew he wasn't expecting anyone, maybe his wife, but she couldn't pull herself away from making sure he was OK. How can he be? Caitlin bit her lip as she was cleared one last time by the monotonous guard that looked like he didn't want to be there.
The smells of fatigue were permeating through the cells and Caitlin caught their odor before going into the visitor's hall. She hesitated before moving forward and tried her best to calm down in such a facility as this.
She could remember her uncle being behind that Plexiglas years ago. She closed her eyes trying to push that memory away. All those feelings came rushing back. But she had to remain strong. She had to put on the bravest face she can. If not for her sake but Barry's, he deserved so much better than he got.
Even though it was the smallest sound she could hear Barry say her name. She looked up and what she saw broke her heart in pieces. Barry looked at her as if he hadn't seen her in years. The 5 o' clock shadow that covered his face looked worn in, the bags under his eyes more prominent than she thought possible. He appeared lifeless and what's worse is that Caitlin knew he had accepted this fate over not giving up.
"Barry, I, I had to...come see you." Caitlin said, her voice coming out small and meek, she had to try harder to mask how she really felt.
He said nothing as he kept on staring, studying her face, trying to remember the last conversation he had with her. Had it really been that long? He swallowed feeling the nerves rush back, seeing her again brought out the raw emotions he desperately hid from people so well. He couldn't pretend with her, he just can't.
Simultaneously they reached for the side receivers, both apprehensive to start. After a few long moments of silence Barry cleared his raspy throat.
"Are you OK?" He asked, earning a crease in her eyebrows.
Caitlin took a deep breath, trying to piece together some words for a complete thought. She was thinking a million things at once. This was not good, she had to pull herself together better. Once she calmed her mind, she began to respond back slowly.
"Actually, I came to see how you were." She said, when he said nothing back she continued.
"I hate all of this. This shouldn't have happened, especially to you. We're going to find a way to get you out of here. This is not right, you didn't kill anyone Barry."
Barry watched as Caitlin did her best to hold back the tears that wanted to fall down her cheeks. He could tell in one glance that she was taking it the worst of everyone. He couldn't explain it but deep down he figured she would care this much, even though he had Iris in his life, he and Caitlin are deeply close, he would even admit closer than most married couples. What does that even mean? he thought.
Barry pulled away from that to answer.
"I know, believe me, I know. But this is how it has to be, for now. Caitlin, this isn't my fate. I'm trying to be strong here. I can't bare it if you are all hurt by me being here. It hurts me so much I don't sleep at night. I know you guys are trying to find a way to get me out of here, that alone is giving the hope I need to keep going. Without you guys I'm truly nothing. My friends mean the world to me."
"Yeah," Caitlin nearly scoffed, she didn't mean to but it hadn't felt like they were friends in a while.
Even since Barry was with Iris, making sure she survived her fate, nothing has been the same in the team. She didn't know if Barry knew that, maybe some part of her did. Not that he would even ask.
"What?"
"Oh? What do you mean?"
"Caitlin, what's wrong? Are you alright?"
She wanted to lie, like she always did when anyone asked her that question, "Just when you say that, that word, your friends, it's been so long since I heard you say that. Never mind."
Barry watched her brush off the answer as if it was nothing but her face made it look anything but. They don't lie to each other, Barry's lips parted as he closed his eyes, rubbing them as he realized what she meant.
"I'm so sorry. I haven't been there for you all, I understand now. I haven't done anything right in a long time, I've just been worried about my own selfish needs...haven't I Cait?" he relented, knowing he it wasn't enough but he tried anyway.
Caitlin flinched. That nickname, no not that name. It's been known to give Caitlin hope where there was none. To bring out Barry's humanity which had shown brighter than anything else; she broke eye contact, nodding slowly. She couldn't lie, she couldn't pepper him with fluff, not him, and not when her heart has been broken so many times she lost track.
"I know sorry will not make up for any pain I've caused but I can't bear to see anyone I care about hurt, especially you."
Caitlin had no idea what she was still doing there. She had a bitter taste in her mouth that was making her sick and she felt like she was going to faint if she didn't get out of there.
Nevertheless she stayed. She had to. Her head was telling her to give up because so many times Barry had done the same thing to her, to Cisco; he has abandoned everyone he claimed he loved. All for what? Like he had a clue. You could tell him the answer and he still would be in denial. He's gotten good at justifying his selfish ways she almost didn't care to confront him about it.
But, her heart had won, being as burnt and broken as it is, she still thought of him.
"Barry...I didn't come here to—to make you feel worse. That is not my intention. I came here because I know you're better than this." She said, pausing to look around the height of the glass, "I could literally shatter this glass into a million pieces; you belong home with us, not here. Not like this. You didn't murder anyone. Whatever happened in the past, I don't care. I just, I want us all together again, like it used to be. I want us, the three of us and Harry; I want us to make a difference together. I stayed back when Ronnie told to leave with him." She took a deep breath, looking at his reaction.
Barry tensed, remembering when she told him this. "I know, you risked your life. For all of us. Why did you—"
"Because we belong together, Barry. Don't give up on us, because we're not giving up on you." She concluded.
Barry didn't realize he was hanging onto her every word; his hand gripped the phone tighter than he wanted to. He released it back to normal, sharing a small look with Caitlin; her eyes were full of worry, she was waiting for him to say something. The truth was: he didn't want to hurt her with anymore lies.
"I'm going to make sure that happens again. I've made such a mess of everything."
"Why are you saying this?" She blurted out, instantly looking down, feeling embarrassed. "I mean, god, this is so fucked up. I don't even know why I'm here."
Barry observed her with a serious look, almost gritting his teeth, "I can't begin to tell you how sorry I am. I know I sound like a broken record."
Caitlin glared at him, almost surprised at his shift in tone, it was the first time in a while she had seen and heard him sound selfless, like the Barry she knew and cared for. Dejected, she sighed.
"I guess none of this matters. Look, I didn't come here to fight."
"I don't think we're fighting Caitlin; I think we're finally talking. It's something I should be doing with my friends."
There's that word again, she couldn't help but feel her blood boil at those empty words.
"Is it OK with Iris?" She asked him sarcastically, rolling her eyes.
She picked up her face and that Frost glow came back. The genie was out of the bottle.
Barry said nothing for a moment. He knew those Frost eyes all too well, they were going to rip into him with the bold faced truth. Fear struck at him suddenly, making his mouth go dry. He swallowed roughly, bracing himself for the ramifications.
"You've got nothing to say to me, do you, Allen, or is it Fl—"
"Caitlin, please, there's cameras everywhere; I don't want them to—"
"What? Know who you really are? Please, you tell everyone anyway, that cowl you wear fools no one. I'll tell you what, how about I go have a little fun over with those guards are, just to see that tortured look on your face knowing you can't stop me from doing it? Huh? Bar?" She lifted her eyebrows, flirting with him.
"You wouldn't, the Caitlin I know doesn't hurt people like that. The Caitlin I know is better than that. The Caitlin I know—"
"Oh the Caitlin you know is a weak, pathetic doormat. Can't believe I—she came back, for what? This? I could really do some damage and you know what? There's nothing you can do to stop me. What do you care? You married the girl you obsessed over? It can't get anymore sad than that. You don't even care about saving the city anymore, some hero you are. Your dead mother would be so proud..."
Barry's breathing sped up, she hit a nerve, a big one, but he knew this wasn't Caitlin he was talking to. He had to bring the real her back, some way. Somehow she's still in there, trapped.
"Caitlin, I know you can hear me. I know this is not who you want to be. Remember how you said I was the one to keep you in check? I'm still that guy. You haven't given up on me, I won't give up on you. Not now. You deserve that much. Caitlin, you have no idea how much I wish for everything to just go back to how it used to be, just us, you, me and Cisco. Don't fall into the darkness. I can't lose you..."
Caitlin's shaking form gripped the phone, she could feel the permafrost revealing itself and breathed heavy, trying to keep everything that wanted to release at bay. She was struggling because it felt so good to finally let go. She laughed bitterly.
"I can't believe she actually fell for you. Well, it's not going to affect her anymore, not while I'm around." Frost's eyes came flashing back; her hair began turning platinum blonde.
Barry thought fast, he was good at that. He couldn't let her reveal herself and ruin her life. He pushed his hand forward, vibrating it through and picked hers up, holding it like their lives depended on it.
"Don't leave, Cait, I need you to come back." He gripped, pulsating his heat to melt the frost he felt through her nearly cold hand.
"Stop it, Caitlin doesn't deserve this abuse." She said through gritted teeth, her hair switching back and forth from her natural color to Frost's trademark stark shade.
"I want her back, she needs my help. I've let her down, I know that. I'm trying to make it better. I need her with me. I know why she chose Savitar, give her back to me, now. I'm not letting go."
Her hand pushed through his heat but it wasn't enough. Even now she didn't have complete control of her powers, not when her system was in a battle for which side she was on. She cried, letting the tears fall freely. Killer Frost was slipping away.
"You should, you're good at it. Now let me go." Caitlin's true eyes came back, her hair returning to its normal color.
She dropped the receiver and breathed in, not knowing what the hell had happened or why Barry looked at her like she was a caged animal.
Knowing it was going to come again, she pulled back, instantly standing and hung the phone up. "I've gotta go."
Barry stood up, hanging up the receiver, staring into her eyes and nodded gently. "I'm going to make things better for us, I promise."
Caitlin knew what he meant but almost took his "for us" to mean each other. Wishful thinking.
She turned around and left without a word, wondering what just happened. Parts of the conversation flew back to her and all she wanted to do was hide. Whatever she said to Barry, the damage was done. Whenever Frost took over, the parts of her brain that normally held her back were released. She could feel the power coursing through her. She could have killed everyone in the building, just for Barry, Killer Frost can't be trusted; she let out the person Caitlin had prayed to never let take over her completely.
Then why now did she feel so much better about everything?

You know that I love you, right? (SB Week Day 4)
Free Day of Snowbarry week! I love free days so much lol. This is my last fanfic of Snowbarry week, I know that the challenge doesn’t ends yet but I want to write for other challenges who are in basically this same days. I hope you enjoy this!
AU: When Barry is under the effect of the anesthesia and told Caitlin about his feelings
Tumblr media
Caitlin’s P.O.V
And I am here, healing Barry because sometimes he doesn’t listen and do dangerous things no matter what, everything to safe the city. I really appreciate that, but I want Barry to be careful, I don’t want him to get hurt. He has to think about himself too.
And here is Barry, in bed under the effect of the anesthesia. A part of building just fall over him, he brokes a few bones and I’m scared because he isn’t healing fast like always.
“I want a Big Belly Burger” he says.
“You will get one when you wake up”
“I don’t wanna sleep”
“You need to sleep Barry, today was a long day and you need to heal. You will fall asleep soon, just relax”
“I want to stay awake, I want to see your pretty face” I smiled and blushed a little.
“You can dream about my pretty face if you sleep”
“I feel like I am dreaming right now, you are sooooo pretty” I laughed, he looks so funny, but he is making me nervous.
“Stop, Barry”
“I love making you laugh” he said with a smile “You have a pretty laugh”
“So basically everything about me is pretty for you?”
“Yeah, all of you is so pretty. When you touch something, that thing becomes pretty” I laughed again.
“You don’t know what are you saying”
“You know that I love you, right?” Barry said with a serious face, I stop laughing, I can hear my heart beating fast.
“I love you too, Barry, like, uhm, a friend”
“No no no no, I’m not saying that I love you like a friend, I love you like something else”
“And Iris? You love her”
“But maybe I love you more, maybe you are the right person to me”
“Come on Barry, when you wake up you are not going to remember anything of this”
“Come closer, please” I did what he asked me, and suddenly, his lips were in mine “I’m not going to remember this, so don’t worry” he whispers.
“Barry, I….” I didn’t know what to say, I just want to kiss him back but, I can’t.
“I love you, Caitlin, you have to know that. I love you more like a friend” when I was going to tell him that I love him more like a friend too, Barry was already sleeping.
“Oh Barry, if you only knew”

Day 5: Amnesia
“Who’s Barry?” Barry asked, completely confused. “Not fine.” Cisco bit his lip. Killer Frost watched this all unfold from her hiding spot in the vents. Time to shine. She broke through the vent, and grabbed Barry. “WHAT THE H***?!” Barry screamed. “STAND DOWN!” Joe whipped out his gun and aimed it at Frost’s head. “How about I don’t?” She shot a blast of ice at Joe and vanished, Barry with her. “Who are you, what do you want with me, and WHY THE HECK IS THERE A GIANT METAL SUIT IN THE CORNER?!” Barry screamed as Frost tied him to a chair. “I’m Caitlin, I’m your,” she paused, “girlfriend, and that metal suit is your overlord Savitar.” “Oh.” Barry cringed. “And, uh, why are you tying me to the chair?” “Because I don’t want you to leave quite yet.” Caitlin grinned sinisterly. “And I’m scared.” Barry tried to twist out of the ropes. “Calm yourself, darling.” Caitlin placed a cold hand on Barry's. “It'll be okay.” “O-okay.” Barry nodded. At this point he believed anything she said. If she was his girlfriend and all, and he remembered absolutely nothing, then she must be right. “Also, you help me defeat our nemeses, Vibe and Kid Flash.” Caitlin said. This was going to be fun. “I-I do? But I can’t do anything.” Barry shrunk back in his chair. “Actually, you can, darling,” replied Caitlin. “You’re the Flash. You’re a speedster.” “I’m a what?” Barry’s raised his eyebrows in shock. “Try vibrating out of those ropes of yours.” Frost stepped back. “Um…okay.” Barry squeezed his eyes shut and shook violently. Quickly, his body was a blur, and he stood up, free. “Awesome.” Barry grinned. He leaned over and kissed Caitlin on the cheek. She stepped back in surprise. “Oh.” Barry flushed. “Were we not to that stage yet?” Caitlin smirked. “We are now. You might wanna keep vibrating.” She pressed her midnight lips to his.

showers & singing & slipping, oh my!
For Snowbarry Week ‘17
Title: showers & singing & slipping, oh my!     Prompt: High School/College AU Summary: Caitlin just wanted to take a shower in peace.
Caitlin's phone buzzed insistently until she blearily woke up from her deep sleep. Lying in her bed, her eyes heavy, the bioengineer-major groaned as she blindly reached for her phone on her night stand. As she grasped it and turned the alarm off, the light of the phone beamed way too brightly in the 5am darkness of her dorm room despite being on the lowest setting.
Eventually, she languidly sat up in her bed, rubbing away the sleep from her eyes. Caitlin only debated whether to go back to sleep or not for a moment, for she knew that she couldn't. Even though her first class wasn't until 9am, she still had to shower and eat and study. It was the shower part that really stuck out, however.
See, Central City University, while highly esteemed and acclaimed, mostly had dorms that were coed. And, unfortunately for Caitlin, all of those coed dorms also had coed bathrooms - meaning that guys and girls took showers in the same place, in cubicles right next to each other...
Now, Caitlin didn't consider herself a prude, but the thought still freaked her out despite being at the university for a couple weeks now. So to avoid leering and roaming eyes from seeing her in a towel, she had been forcing herself to get up early to shower in peace.
So she begrudgingly got up from her bed, stripping herself from her pajamas and into a soft, baby blue robe. Then in order to not wake her roommate, she quietly gathered up everything else she needed and left, tiptoeing down the hall and into the bathroom.
Upon entering, she surveyed the area to make sure that she was indeed alone and sighed in relief when she concluded that she was.
She made her way to a shower in the front towards the middle. She hung her towel on a hook outside of one of the white-tiled cubicles before entering the shower space. There she pulled off her robe, hanging the item by her towel, then quickly shutting the shower curtain securely afterwards, making sure both ends weren't left open before turning on the faucets.
Caitlin let the warm water cascade over her body to try and fight off the bitter chill that always encompassed the early morning air. Despite the chill, which she was slowly becoming acclimated to, Caitlin loved the sereneness of the early morning. While others might have found it creepy, Caitlin loved how the lights were still dull and had not yet brightened to their usual luminous intensity and how everything was quiet and docile; it was comforting and soothing.
Finally warming up, Caitlin then went through the motions of her usual shower routine. But as she was rinsing her hair of shampoo, she heard the door of the bathroom open and the patter of feet hit the bathroom titles.

Day 1: Hogwarts AU/Magic
Barry Allen ran his fingers over the red flame tattooed on his upper arm. He’d been born with it, but very few people knew that. You see, Barry was special. In his family, the fire magic was passed down through the generations, but it skipped very often. Usually every third or fourth earns magic, and Barry was the lucky one. The Allens weren’t the only magical beings on the planet, however. There were many others families that had different powers. One of those families were the Thawnes, and the only reason Barry knew this is because Eobard Thawne, with time travel magic, had murdered Barry’s mother. There was also another magical living in Barry’s city, but he didn’t know her name. She was his opposite, ice magic, but she intrigued Barry. “Barry!” Barry’s adopted sister, Iris, called. “The Ice Mage is out again!” The Ice Mage is the name they’d given to the mysterious ice magical. “Where?” “Corner of third and twelfth.” “Got it.” Barry lit his hands with flames, and using them as thrust, flew away into the sky. “Nice to see you again, Flame.” The woman curled her painted blue lips into a smile. “What are you doing?” Barry placed a hand on her shoulder. “Doing what feels right.” She grabbed Barry’s shoulders and pressed her lips to his. Barry’s emerald eyes went wide. He’d never been kissed before, surprisingly. But this…the Ice Mage wasn’t lying, it felt right. Barry returned the kiss, adding his own little spark. After what felt like an eternity, she pulled away, her dark eyes shining. She began to turn away, but Barry’s hand on her shoulder stopped him. “What’s your name?” He blurted out the question he’d been too afraid to ask. “Caitlin. Caitlin Snow.” She grinned. “And yours?” “Barry Allen,” he breathed. Caitlin blew Barry one last kiss, leaving a small frosty mark on his cheek. When Barry returned home, he got many questioning looks about that mark, but he didn’t care. He’d just met the girl of his dreams.

if the voice fits
For Snowbarry Week ‘17
Title: if the voice fits Prompt: Magic/Hogwarts AU Summary: Caitlin Snow has a tiny crush on CCPD's forensic scientist and fails at trying to talk to him. Should she give up, or will something magical happen to her to give it another shot?
Caitlin knocked on the door, the results grasped tightly in her hand, biting down on her lower lip as she waited for a response on the other side. You can do this. You can do this.
“Open!” she heard a muffled voice say.
The young doctor took a needed breath as she opened the door to the forensics lab at the Central City Police Station.
Upon opening the door and stepping forward into the room, the forensic scientist, who she had learned whose name was Barry Allen from their first encounter many months back, turned from his microscope, a wide smile blossoming on his face as he saw her. He stepped away from his work, walking over to her, all unbeknownst to how his simple actions were affecting her heart rate.
“Delivery from STAR Labs?” he said once he was stood right in front of her, his tone suggesting he was trying to joke and be friendly, but her nerves had nerves and her stomach was in knots.
 I can’t do this.
“Y-yes,” she let out meekly, robotically handing him the folder with the results she was able to garner from the DNA sample he had provided STAR Labs.

Hacked - Chapter 1
It rained again, more than usual that week. Being prepared for it was the last thing Caitlin Snow wanted to do. California had its rough odds and ends when it came to the weather. When you work at home you do have the luxury of every night pizza and vegging out in your PJs. It was something Caitlin wanted to do for as long as she could.
It wasn't that she went out of her way to avoid people, only half true, a couple people knew she existed at work and she wanted it to stay that way. The only mirror to the outside world was the internet. On a rainy day like today, it felt more like a second skin.
It was very easy to hide behind a screen, no one can tell Caitlin any different. But ironically it was the one place she didn't choose to hide.
Like an old friend she returned to the familiar as she clicked a few rudimentary keys and logged into Hackers Anonymous, a place where people like her can stroke a few keys in freedom and not have a care in the world. It was a fairly innocent chat room, many people from all walks of life come in to shoot the breeze; talk tech. Usually the time Caitlin joined the place was always active.
When she first came in it was difficult to figure out how to talk and which person to respond to. For a while now she was chatting with what looked like a male user, or so he said in the beginning of their private chatting sessions.
SlyFox logged online and Caitlin smiled instantly. She hesitated before tapping the button that sent an invite to a private message room. She didn't want to seem too eager; normally it was he who instigated the invitations.
She sipped her slightly chilled beer and checked the time. Ordinarily the place would be a lot more active than what she was seeing. It was still crowded but the conversations were sparse. She wondered if the hackers had anything to talk about. Usually there was some new program code that a user wanted to share; of course it would have to be in a secure area. Everyone who came into rooms was pretty skilled with high tech knowledge, knowing that was basic.
Caitlin walked away from her computer to get some food when she heard an alert chime. She knew what it meant and rushed to her computer screen to click yes on the inevitable invite.
She didn't respond right away because she wanted to take her time with what she wanted to say. The conversation always started simple enough, he was oddly a gentlemen as opposed to every other hacker in there who wanted to get laid. She supposed it was some nerd code.
SlyFox: Thought I'd found you here. :)
Caitlin read the message again, thinking of the right thing to say back until a light bub went off in her mind.
AngelEyes: What exactly do you win now?
SlyFox: The temporary pleasure of your company. :^)
AngelEyes: Of course, is this room secure?
SlyFox: Are you really asking that elementary question to the best hacker in the room? :)
AngelEyes: Sarcasm can't be detected through just words apparently. xp
SlyFox: Oh so that's what you call it? Too bad I can't hear your voice to tell.
Caitlin played with the bottom hem of her shirt, thinking of what to say next.
AngelEyes: And you wouldn't want to, I'd rather you hear that chime ring each time I reply, it's prettier.
SlyFox: What? You are you saying I wouldn't like it? Try me. I'm sure it matches your eyes, Angel. cx
AngelEyes: Oh stop it. So, you weren't on yesterday, was I boring you so badly you had to stay off the chat for a few days?
Caitlin tapped her nails on the desk, she was curious about this guy. For all she knew he could be anybody, but he certainly didn't feel like a fake. For the last couple of weeks they were having multiple back and forth conversations and have gotten to know each other through messaging. It was actually his idea to take it offline.
She rubbed the back of her tired neck when she saw three dots appear below her message.
SlyFox: I had to go take care of some things, I'm back now. Why, was I gone too long? Have you pmd another lonely hacker in my place? :'(
AngelEyes: No one but you Sly, I was apprehensive about it, you broke my pm cherry.
SlyFox: You really shouldn't talk like that; I'm still single you know. Don't wanna give me any weird ideas.
AngelEyes: We all know if you really were thinking that, you wouldn't need more when the endless source material is more convenient. xp
SlyFox: You're still single too? Wow, I'm actually shocked.
AngelEyes: Yeah, time to change the subject. So what were you doing offline?
SlyFox: What, I'm not allowed to have a life outside our conversations? -_-
AngelEyes: Not if you're breaking any laws, oh wait...
SlyFox: Why are you so curious? Everyone breaks laws. Pretty sure some jerk on the highway cut another one off today.
AngelEyes: Fair point. Why the secrecy? You got something to hide?
SlyFox: Everybody does Angel, even you.
Caitlin rolled her eyes and flipped her hair. Fox was being weird tonight. Normally he's all jokes and flirting, something was off with him tonight. Maybe he had a bad day at work or some woman rejected him. She didn't like him being so cryptic, she realized being serious came with the territory of a hacker, but the majority of the people in the chat were light and fun.
AngelEyes: I doubt it. Not many people care about my life anyway, it's pretty ordinary, didn't I tell you this already? Well I'm telling you now, I'm boring, that's that. :p
SlyFox: Not to me Angel, why do you think I'm still here? Why do you think I pulled you out of that chat and away from other hackers just so I could pm you all to myself?
AngelEyes: I keep asking myself this question actually, weren't there at least twenty female hackers trying to get your attention? They all had pics in their avatars. They wanted a piece of the Fox. xD
SlyFox: Well there is a reason why I'm here and you know what that is...
AngelEyes: Again, if I knew the answer I'd tell you, but here we are...
SlyFox: You know we hardly know each other; this is awkward for me to say...
AngelEyes: Spit it out Fox!
SlyFox: I...well...I just really want you to game with me on this program that I started up. You game?
Caitlin blew a breath a relief, she didn't have a clue what he was going to say but she laughed as she typed a reply.
AngelEyes: Alright Sly, send the .exe to my personal email, you know what it is. I gotta go to bed, 'night you.
She was sure he sent a silly emoji back before she logged off the chat and turned off her computer. The rain had subsided and she was grateful for it. She'd have to get up in the morning and start her errands early if she wanted to get any work done at home. She wasn't behind but she'd rather be safe than sorry, anything to avoid coming into work, dealing with those minuet suicidal cubicles.
She heard her text message alert go off and hesitated before checking it but did anyway. It was Dylan, reminding her to call him back regarding some information he had already sent to her email this morning.
"Great, couldn't he have told me in the morning? Now I have this to worry about." She said, huffing as she cleaned up the kitchen and went to the shower to get ready for bed.
Going to sleep was hard for her. Getting into bed was the easy part actually shutting her eyes and relaxing to the point of real REM sleep was the challenge. There was usually something on her mind, work she had to do, details she'd have to remember, messages she'd need to return when she wasn't up to her elbows in projects.
She placed her electronic devices away from her reach. She'd reach for them even at night being half asleep and they would distract her. Switching off the light she crawled inside the covers. She'd thought about the conversation she had with Fox tonight. He was a little off his game. She brushed it aside as she pulled the covers over while climbing inside.
She wondered for a moment what it was like to meet a guy outside of the anonymous room. What kind of life did they lead? Were they true basement dwellers or were they important people? She couldn't tell based on the scattered discussions that normally took place there. Her attention rose as her cell phone lit up, she rolled her eyes, debating whether to check the message. She couldn't help herself as she dragged her body up, half awake looking at the screen. Looking up close so she had a better view.

Caitlin winced as she blinked double time and stared at the message again. Deleting it she switched off her phone and walked back to bed, trying to put it out of her mind. She turned on her side and shut her eyes, finding it easier than she thought.
Out of the corner of her room, an illuminated phone screen switched back on.

Day 3: Supervillains/Savifrost/Flashfrost
Barry sat in his empty apartment, thinking. He’d bought this house for Iris, the love of his life. But she was dead now, thanks to Savitar. Now, HR was still murdered that night, but just as Savitar was supposed to vanish from existence, he brandished a knife and shoved it through Iris’s chest. Barry watched all of this unfold, and, not quite thinking clearly, using his rage as fuel, twisted back his time remnant’s arm, ripped the dagger from his grip, and plunged it into Savitar’s heart. Savitar was dead, but so was Barry in a sense. He hadn’t left his house since Iris died, not even for HR’s funeral. Barry would become Savitar at some point, and the cycle would repeat itself. Caitlin had been on their side during the battle, but then the second Savitar was murdered, her eyes turned pearly silver once more and she vanished. Maybe if Barry could find her, she’d help him. It was his only shot. Barry stood, and without worrying about his suit, flashed out the door. “Cait?” Barry called into the night, searching for icy patches, frozen paths in the sky, and pale blue-skinned bodies. “CAITLIN?” “You’re going to blow my cover, Flash.” Barry whirled around, seeing a white-blond version of his former doctor. “Caitlin, I need your help.” Barry pleaded. Killer Frost cringed at the use of her real name. “What would a hero like you need from a villain like me?” She retorted. “I-” Barry paused, biting his lip. “I don’t think I’m a hero anymore.” “The Flash, joining the dark side.” Frost’s royal blue lips curled up in a smile. “Now that’s something I can get behind.” Barry laughed a little. “I can’t keep up this ‘hero’ business if I’m so dark inside. Oliver pulled it off because he got some light in his life. I’m the opposite of that.” “Barry, Barry, Barry.” Frost stroked her finger down Barry’s cheek, leaving a small trail of ice. “I’ll help you embrace your inner villain.” “Thank you.” Killer Frost shook her head. “Ditch the politeness, it’s not helping you.” “O-okay.” Barry nodded. This was going to take a lot of getting used to. “Where exactly is your base of operations?” “Well, it was Savitar’s little ‘warehouse’ or whatever, but currently I don’t have one.” “Well, my apartment’s been a bit too quiet. You could move in there.” Barry cracked a smile. “Inviting a killer into your home? That’s new for you.” Frost, knowing the drill, jumped into Barry’s arms before he even knew what she was doing. “Run, Barry,” she whispered in his ear, “run.” Barry smirked uncharacteristically, lightning recoloring his dark green eyes before he sped off.

need & want
For Snowbarry Week ‘17
Title: need & want Prompt: Supervillains/Savifrost/Flashfrost Summary: Savitar may not be who Caitlin (she) wants, but Frost knows she isn’t who he exactly wants either.
She sits alone, seated on an old, beat up couch in a little alcove away from where Cisco is working on the speedforce bazooka. Thinking and contemplating. Her mind was so far beyond what was happening now in the present, but instead what would be in store for her in the future - near and far.
"You're being quiet," Savitar murmurs, studying her as he walks leisurely into their private space. His voice is low and raspy like always, and if there is a small hint of concern, she chooses to ignore it. "What's wrong? You're not having second thoughts, are you?"
Her head snaps up, glaring at him. "No," she says adamantly. She crosses her arms, defenses up. "Just because a woman is quiet, does not mean anything is wrong."
He watches her for a beat before letting out a dry chuckle. "Maybe," he concedes, his eyes staring intensely into hers, "but you keep forgetting that I know you. And right now you're do that biting your lower lip thing and-"
