She had forgotten that he could see her tears now. For years they had been swept away with the rain, a combination of pure pair and despair that could not be identified from one another. But with clear skies on most days, her tears could be seen. But they could also be handled and taken with care.
He could reach out with ease and wipe them away because that what he does. He cares for her even in the silent moments. He wipes the pain and makes it easier for her to breath.

There had been a time where she had become ashamed to cry. At least in the rain no one knew. It was a hidden secret that he solved way too fast but it showed her that he cared even when he tried to brush it off.
So even when the clouds form in the sky and the day seems slightly dark, he would snuggle up to her with his arm around her back and gently kiss her cheeks and tell her that she wasn’t alone anymore.
He was always there and although he told her time and time again that he would rather be on his own, he never failed to come running to catch her tears like snowflakes in a flurry.

He loved the sound of his piano. The way the keys danced under his fingertips to create a symphony and heavenly sound, he guaranteed that no other noise could compare to the harmony that his baby grand put out.
It filled the silence on a rainy day and ushered him to sleep when the nights were long. The way music could tell a story even with no words was something he found fascinating about the instrument.
Every emotion could be captivated and contained through the keys and strings. His favorite thing in this entire world was the piano.
Nothing, absolutely nothing on this earth could ever sound as beautiful as a piano. Nothing.
“Hi Soul!”
Well, maybe one thing.
Maybe, just maybe, Maka Albarn could compete with a grand piano.
So what if her voice drew him out of his deepest thoughts and soothed him in dire situations. Maybe the way she laughed or giggled softly made him feel all warm and fuzzy and made him want to make her laugh more.
And what if on rainy days he began to prefer being wrapped in a blanket with her leaning against him and drawing circles on her thigh while a movie plays?
Or the way she said his name when she came home through that door they shared for many years was his favorite part of his day?
And maybe the music on his phone couldn’t compete with her hushed voice during the night as the last thing he saw before he drifted away to sleep were stunning green eyes.
And yes the piano was a pretty piece of work but that diamond on her finger was by far a better sight.
He loved his piano, that was for sure. But he loved playing it melodies for his beautiful wife more. Because across the earth were thousands of pianos, but only one Maka to fill his heart.

It shouldn’t be like this. The chandeliers sparkling in the evening. Bows of silk across many pews. Rose petals on the aisle. A beautiful ceremony that could be considered a nightmare at this point.
Truly it was all beautiful. The wedding planner must of been proud and even prouder of the unlimited budget too. She wanted to say that it was wonderful and a glorious celebration, but she knew she was only lying to herself.
Was it jealously? Anger and frustration? Or maybe she was overwhelmed with a sadness she could barely speak of.
How do you say you’re okay when clearly you aren’t.
She thought she was made of sugar. A perfect little girl. She could do no wrong or feel anything but happiness. But she was greatly mistaken.
That sugar inside of her has begun to boil over in the pot and instead of being a beautiful caramelization of spun sugar, she is now a burnt and bitter mess trying her best to keep the flames at bay.
But how does one smile at a wedding that should of been hers? How can she say she was happy when her dress was a deep blue and the girl she barely knew was off white?
Vows. Vows were for people who were in love and who deserved happiness. Not for a girl who barely knew him. Barely knew the man she was still desperately in love with.
Tears pricked her eyes as she watched that girl walk down the aisle in a gorgeous gown. It was like slow motion. Watching and feeling every ounce of happiness she once had slip out of her fingers and down a drain where it will never resurface.
It began to fade away, those memories she had of him and her in their prime. The way her name danced on his tongue and the longing looks her threw her way were now being burned at the seams as her held another woman's hand.
But sugar was what she was made of. A perfect little girl, now a young woman who was watching the marriage of the man she fell in love with years ago.
She learned at a very young age that sometimes you don’t always get what you want. That the greater good overrode any personal pleasure. But this wasn’t the hero work she signed up for. This wasn’t the greater good. This was just a woman whose bubbly personality had popped and loud voice silenced.
The keys of the piano started to flood her thoughts and corrupt every beautiful moment they shared. It tore at the core memories. Their first kiss and first everything. It was being shattered and ripped away before she got the chance to cope.
She noticed the tears of others standing around. They were joyous and fulfilling, but hers burned at her skin and she wished they could disappear.
Silence was met when he lifted the veil and took in the gorgeous girls face, he glanced for a second over to the pews where the woman he loved more in the entire world stood. He wondered what it would have been liked to run to her and tell her that his heart was hers.
But time wouldn't stop for them. For a fracture of a second, baby blue eyes locked with dark green ones. The world seemed brighter in that moment, but it faded as he looked back to the woman who would have his last name.
“I do.” She smiled.
“I do.” He repeated.
And if he didn’t have super hearing, he might of missed the way Bubbles voice ached with sorrow,
“I still love you.”

I hope you all enjoyed!

He watched as her fist collided with the mans face. Blood tricked down his chin as his teeth became chipped and face spotted with black and blue. He knew she was going easy on him. Her punch could kill someone without much force, so she was determined that he felt the pain.
Watching the electric blue power practically drip from her was enough to make any man go crazy, especially him. He had once known her to be a perfect little girl who was always at his throat and giggling constantly.
That was until the world decided that heroes deserved nothing.
It was comical to him how little humans who can barely save themselves wanted to belittle and turn on those who dedicated their lives to them. He watch from afar as her ‘joy and the laughter’ demeanor started to crumble.
Bit by bit, she began to change. The weight of the world was finally too much to bare and when the towns people turned their backs on the three little girls, she snapped. They must have forgotten that sugar can eventually rot.
He felt sorry for them for a spilt second, but he got over it quick because of her. He had never seen her crack under pressure, never once had she faltered in battle, but they made a mistake in thinking that the greater good will remain that way even when you mock and destroy it.
So he watched as the gods they once worshipped turned into the nightmares they feared. As for him, he loved it.
She was far more powerful, far more greater and far more beautiful when she didn’t care about the lives of others.
He thought that one day she would be his undoing and take him and his brothers down for good, but instead she turned into something he admired and loved.
She dropped the mans lifeless body to the ground and stepped over it. Her black heels splattered with a smidge of blood and she rolled her eyes.
“Pathetic.” She sneered.
He smirked widely and held his hand out for her to grab. “A useless waste. As for you.” He brought her close. “You were magnificent. I could watch you torture people all day. Hell, I want you to torture me.”
A giggle came from her lips. A heavenly sound he thought was lost forever, but he was happy to know that he could bring it out.
“Aren’t you quite the charmer?” She kissed his cheek.
He marveled in her glory as they walked away, leaving countless bodies behind them. It was odd to think that a few years ago, she would have thrown him against the wall before sending his ass to jail. But now she was by his side.
Day by day he got to watch as more poison entered her veins. The hatred of the world crept through her and reminded her of the innocence they took. He got to see the way her eyes light up as people fear her and he was sure that her heart was coated with black tar by now.
But her love for her sisters and animals and of course, him remained untouched. It was fascinating to him as his darling wife could bring people to their knees with just a glance of pure fury. He loved every ounce of that melted sugar woman.
She was a bright ball of light. Once the sunshine on a gloomy day for the world to adore. And now she was the meteor that would burn it to the ground. And he would be there to bask in its flames.

lol I gave up on the ending but I hope you enjoyed.

The World Sucks
Pairing: Boomer, this is a solo fic for best boi (well maybe a little boomerxmike at the end ;)
Fandom: Powerpuff Girls
Notes: Snippet September #4!
okay so I wrote this from an ask but then when it saved, it disappeared so I had to re-write it so im sorry for losing the ask.
anyways the prompt was: boomer being done with his brothers, basically angsty boom. I changed it a little bit to incorapte the whole Jojo family so I hope you like it. (I legit couldn’t think of a title)
Tags: @seinlxlx (im sorry the ask got lost but I hope you enjoy this) @unvalley @cupcakesandnightmares (if you would like to be tagged pls lmk :)

He hated this city. Hated the shitty ass high school he was forced into and hated everything else in between. On the rare occasion where the blond would voice his opinion, he was met with a roll of the eyes and a “shut the fuck up” attitude from his brothers. And they wonder why he keeps to himself.
His brothers were fine. When they weren’t picking on him or being assholes, they were just standard boys who liked to blow shit up and never take responsibilities for their actions, not like Boomer was any better. But he did know when to shut the fuck up, something Brick would probably never know.
But when you were the golden boy to a genius chimp and literal demon, you really didn’t need to shut up. No, Brick could get away with anything because well, he was a villain who didn’t care for societies rules and only followed them during class time. Boomer would probably describe him as a narcissistic asshole who head is shoved so far up his own ass, he's surprised that his dad’s words even reach his clogged ears.
Brick got everything he wanted because of his leader boy status and Boomer was fine with that. Butch became the materialistic brat child who would be at daddy Mojo’s beck and call if it meant he got a brand new car or a hundred bucks to blow on weed and a new hook up of the week.
His older brothers, by measures he's not quite sure of, were the cream of the crop in the villain world. Blowing up shit and taking names, that's what the Jojo boys did best. At least the red and green duo.
As for Boomer, the rich lifestyle and temptation with objects to steal stuff and “take over the world” never worked on him. As a kid, sure a bag of candy could woo him for a few hours, but as time passes, he stopped caring for it all.
Maybe it was the fact that entering the school system meant that he witnessed what normal families looked like. Loving parents and siblings who actually got along started to look nice.
Maybe he wished that his dads would look at him and want to be proud of his decent grades and guitar playing. Instead, he was a creation not for love and joy, but for their own use. He was basically a minion who saw through the facade that his brothers bought into. Maybe he wished he bought into it too so that he wouldn’t feel this way.
So maybe his hatred of the world was created from jealously. Now he understands why robots shouldn’t get feelings. When your sole purpose is one thing, no wonder he felt like a disappointment.
The world sucked. His brothers sucked and he was sure that if they weren’t related, they probably wouldn’t even know each other. His parents sucked too. Everything sucked major balls and he hated it all. There was no good left in the world.
“Hey Boomer!”
The blond looked up from the journal he was scribbling in. His so called “counterpart” full of sugar and giggles came bouncing towards him with a bright smile.
“Oh, hey Bubbles.”
She looked at his journal and to him and offered a small smile. “It looks like its gonna rain.”
The sky did in fact looked darker than usual. “I guess so.”
“Well, we wanted to know if you wanna come to the movies with us?” She pointed over her shoulder to where her sisters and other friends stood. “Thats is if you could spare your bad boy reputation to hang with us?” She teased.
Boomer let out a small laugh before standing. “I think I can mange that.”
“Great!” Bubbles clapped her hands together and wrapped her hand around his arm. “Yeah know, I think Mike has a thing for you.” She winked at him and pulled him along.
“Bubbles, I will throw you into a building if you don’t keep your mouth shut.” He glared at her with the empty threat.
She smirk and made a motion of zipping her lips. “Hey look who I found!” She said as they approached the group.
“Sup Boomer.” Buttercup gave him a fist bump.
“Glad you can join us.” Blossom smiled. “I hope the new zombie film is alright with you.”
“Sounds good to me.” Boomer smiled and he felt himself relax a little bit.
“Hey Boomer, how's it going?”
Boomer turned to see Mike and he hoped that no one, well expect Bubbles, could tell that his heart picked up a bit.
“Uhh, good. Yeah going good.” He said awkwardly but the brunette laughed and Boomer swore he saw him wink.
“Make sure to save me a seat.” Mike said as he turned his attention back to Robin.
Boomer nodded and his eyes met with baby blue ones who gave him a knowing glance.
“Shut up.” He mouthed and she giggled.
So yeah, the world sucked and he might hate everything. But he had to admit that having friends mad it suck a little less.

I hope you enjoyed :)
