Back from the plame festival with more research that will help me as a plane doctor to keep airplanes healthy and happy. :]

Smaller species of planes regularly migrate in large flocks among other species of small airplanes in the spring and summer times. They're very social animals who enjoy company of other planes. A caretaker of a single domesticated plane will regularly guide them to these roosts to help them maintain good social and mental wellbeing.

Sometimes bigger planes like Boeings and even the more carnivorous fighter planes will join little planes in their migrations as well. They enjoy the company as well. Fighter jets, unless they are ill and not well cared for will not normally hunt little planes in these grounds. Fighter planes and big planes will often group together on the ramp and closed taxiways.

Helis may also join sometimes!

I don't know why I'm finding myself more drawn to the ultralight planes. This little Kolab has been catching my eye the last couple of days. I'm told they're super fun and well mannered little guys. This one is powered by a 2 stroke Rotax. ngl I'd fly one.
