Some quick spoilery thoughts about The Chosen S3 E6

Ok wow we’re meeting Pilate and his wife this early in the show. And Pilate is like, what, 21? This show once again playing with my expectations (in a good way)

Everyone’s just casually sharpening their knives and ngl I too did not get the joke right away Matthew that’s ok

Very interesting that of all the people Nathaniel sends over to Zee to get info it’s Little James. Nicely shows how his meekness is effective at disarming even former Zealots (to a point)

But hey why not have Matthew ask and show how Zee and Matthew have gotten to know each other? Bc he’s too busy learning how to stab people in the eye from Simon?

Honestly I wasn’t sure what Zee would actually do, but it was cool seeing him cornered by Zealots, then realizing his only option is to “fight” without a blade the way he was trained, but by relying on his faith in Jesus, and it ends up impacting at least one of the Zealots. Like, it was a little close to cheesy, but it made you see how Zee would someday become an effective apostle without having to use his assassin skills (most of the time)

This take on Pilate is fascinating. He’s clearly a product of his environment, but he also wants the good of the people and to foster peace (which includes executing rebels). Nicely sets up his role in Jesus’s story (the irony train never stops)

(pictured: me, my most recent fashionscape and my achievements) I was finally able to afford BOWFA and full crystal set like just a couple of days ago - feels kinda surreal that I managed to work up for it, had to sell my dragonhunter lance, bcp and twisted buckler for it, but I did it! BCP was the easiest thing to part with ngl cause I had the Fighter Torso for the longest time and it has the same strength bonus :v And just before BOWFA I actually fully finished all of the achievement diaries... man those goals, I never really pictured that I could even grind long enough to get to them, y'kno?

And cause I could not imagine that I could ever get to them I dumped ALL of my crystal shards into the fucking enhanced crystal keys cause I naively hoped to get some dragonstone armour pieces and now I'm scrambling for cash to get crystal shards to corrupt my BOWFA ;-; will have to spend several days at the money snekk or something, bleh.

Moral of the story: don't mindlessly dump your resources for instant gratification and plan the fuck ahead :v
