You were nervous. Only thing stopping you from walking out of this room was Jake holding you in his arms.

You weren’t a shy person, not in real life anyway. But something about cameras was making you unsure. What if you won’t have any good takes? Or what if you mess up, nobody will notice and people will see you doing something weird?

Just thinking about all possible fails made you want to cry.

“Calm down love. I can hear a river of your thoughts in your head from here.” Jake whispered into your ear.

You were together with Jake since before you and your three close friends decided to give being a band shot, so they all knew Jake and knew he wouldn’t disturb or distract anyone while you all would be recording your music video.

They also knew, if he wouldn’t be here, you probably would walk out of the room the minute you saw the set and all the cameras there. He was like your emotional support dog.

He was your emotional support boyfriend.

“What if…” you wanted to list all of the possibilities how you could mess up but Jake shushed you with a kiss.

“No what if. You’re great, beautiful and you will do better than just fine. It will come out like a one big slay.” he assured you “You’re my pretty girl, there’s no other possibility than you being just perfect.”

You sighed but felt nice warm and butterflies in your stomach. His words actually helped and his tight hug made you feel so much better.

“Alright, are we ready to start?” the producer walked into the room clapping his hands. You looked nervously in your boyfriend’s eyes but he only smiled encouragingly and left a quick kiss on your nose before lightly pushing you towards your bandmates.

You actually felt calmer than before and with steady footsteps you walked onto the set and you took your place on the set. Some workers gave you a diary and a pen so you could pretend to be writing something.

In some other parts of music video you were all in a ‘garage’ practicing. You were a lead singer so you were standing in front of everyone and that made you kinda nervous but Jake sitting in the back of the room with big proud smile, looking at you like you were some wonder, made you feel brave.

You continued recording and it wasn’t that bad. Few times you had to ask for a break so you could go to Jake for more kisses end encouragement but other than that it all went smooth and you were quickly done with recording.

“Alright guys, you did amazing.” producer smiled at all four of you “Remember to be here tomorrow 12 am straight. We have to record the song so we can add it to the video!” he reminded and after saying your goodbyes you all went to the dressing room where Jake was already waiting with your jacket.

“You did so good baby!” he looked like an excited kid getting his dream toy and you could feel a blush tinting your cheeks.

“You think so?”

“Absolutely!” he nodded vigorously “And you looked so hot.” You laughed but thanked him and then you pulled him into a kiss.

“Thank you for being here and being my emotional support boy.”

“I can be your emotional support boy whenever you want, pretty girl.” he kissed the side of your head “Ready to go eat something?”

Sturniolo Triplets/Sam & Colby as a rock band

Nicolas Sturniolo Drummer

The drummer is the backbone of any band and Nick is for sure the backbone of the triplet's careers. He holds it all together exactly like a drummer does on stage and on top of that, he’s often the one breaking into song and tapping along in their videos. Drummers are known to keep the show running by guiding the rest of the band and I feel like Nick would hate to be in the spotlight so being a drummer would give him the perfect balance of involvement and hiding without the stress of being directly looked at on stage or otherwise.

Matthew Sturniolo Bassist

Matt is a bassist and if you disagree, argue with a wall because I don’t want to hear your wrong opinions. Bassists, like drummers, are some of the most crucial people in a band. They give the song a feeling you can get from any other instrument and it makes or breaks a song. Matt is also a bassist because although bassists are at the front of the stage, they are often in their own worlds as they lose themselves in the music. They aren’t seeking out any attention but they’re not going to be mad if they get it.

Christopher Sturniolo Rhythm Guitarist/Backup vocalist

I know so many people are going to say Chris should be the lead singer but I feel like Chris is not all that into singing. He’s a rap guy at heart and that’s why he’s perfect for a backup vocalist. He has pipes but he doesn’t have a very wide range so he could nail backup vocals in his range. He would also be the rhythm guitarist because keeping a steady flow with the music while singing would be great for his ADHD brain. Two things at once to focus on but neither of them are too hard that he would get overwhelmed.

Samuel Golbach Rhythm Guitarist

We know my boy Sam can play but I feel like if he were in a band, he would undoubtedly be the lead guitarist. He’s cool with going along with the rhythm guitarist but when he gets his moment to shine, he will bask in all of its glory. Lead guitarists often add life to a song and I think Sam being such an outgoing person, it makes perfect sense for him to play such a loud role in a band. He’s also already fire at the guitar so who knows maybe he will actually become a lead guitarist in a band one day.

Cole Brock Lead Vocalist

We know Colby can sing. That’s just a fact. Man’s has pipes. But the reason I put him as a lead vocalist is because he gives off such a confidence and charisma that is needed on stage. Half of a lead vocalist's job is bringing phenomenal stage presence and I feel like Colby would know exactly how to engage the crowd without making it tacky or tiresome. Even though he is an introvert at heart, he could snap right out of that and fall in love with the adrenaline of being a frontman on stage. He likes being the centre of attention and this is the best way to get it.

so i went to the mall today and my mall has a zumiez in it. i did in fact see snc's merch in there, which was interestingly surreal.

i'm still taken aback by how popular they are sometimes.

that being said, i need to set the scene for you.

first off, i haven't been inside of a zumiez since i was in high school. where i live and when i went to school, you didn't go in that store bc the workers were kinda douchey and literally would call you a poser for not being a skater/stoner kid. it was odd times in the early 2010s lol

plus i've never cared for the styling in that store so it's never been on my radar. but i went in. and… it was odd.

it was me and this young couple looking at shoes. next thing i noticed, dead fucking quiet. like no music at all playing. which was very odd bc it made it feel like i wasn't supposed to be in there.

snc's section was all the way in the back. i go, i see it, i sneak a pic. here's proof of that:

then a worker, the only one btw, comes up to me and tells me "sam and colby's merch is selling like crazy"

this manlet of a guy comes over and starts talking to me. he kinda looked like argyle from stranger things, except white lol

we start talking and he very casually tells me that he actually met colby bc zumiez flied him out to some meeting thing for when snc were gonna drop their merch in stores, and he accidentally met him without realizing who he was. colby was nice and talked about how he was excited to drop xplr, and it wasn't until he (the worker) was telling the story to someone else, that that's when the person pointed out who he met.

he then said "those guys….. are very interesting". and it was in a bit of a tone of like amusement and questioning. i agreed with him on that one.

and then he asked me if colby got cancer from the conjuring house….

even in real life i can't escape that place lmao

i told him that no, he didn't get it from the house. he was already in remission when they went there. he said he thought he heard that that's where he got it from. and i said, "no. but some ppl think he got it from robert the doll. the haunted doll you're not supposed to make eye contact with or take pics of in florida."

midway thru me talking to him that couple came up and asked for some pair of shoes. fun fact, the guy was asking for like a size 7 or 8 shoe and i became extremely aware in that moment that i had bigger feet than that kid so… that's fun.

i wear a size 8.5 in mens, 10 in womens.

after that the guy asked "why would they make direct eye contact with the doll?" i said it's believed that if you do that bad things happen to you, then he said it's not worth it. i agree. and then i left.

i'm actually shocked at the idea that other ppl near me know of snc. i know that sounds bizarre but i've never met someone that liked them. well, i did have the one coworker years ago that thought colby was hot, and then someone in the supermarket pointed to my xplr hoodie and said they liked it. but other than those two random instances, i can't imagine what an snc fan even looks like lol

Ok, so here's the problem -

I STILL haven't had a chance to go back and watch the middle part of this video. 😬

I just got too much going on. I plan on downloading it to watch it on the plane, but until then, I decided to at least weigh in on the Estes Method, since that's the only part of the video I truly remember.

Anyway, I agree with what you said here, but I also have to be controversial and state this for the record: The Estes had the potential to be top tier.

And I say this knowing it sounds like I hated the Estes, which I didn't. It was really good. There were lots of interesting answers that lined up with everything going on, it was creepy, Colby was in his zone...

...but like, all of them talking over one another was driving me up a wall.

It was too much. It was 9 Sam's a'Samming.

I needed silence and calm so I could truly start to decipher some of what was happening. It was just too much.

Anyway, aside from that - Colby is really fucking creepy when he gets into his little conduit mode, huh. The way his body moves, the inflection of his voice, the way his head sometimes moves around? I don't know what all of that is, but it adds to the creepy factor. He is so freaking good at that shit.

And that isn't knocking others who do the Estes Method; there are others who get brilliant results as well. But something about Colby's whole aura and demeanor when he goes under has always felt so charged and different. He's truly putting himself in a trance or something, I don't know.

Also, side note - but can someone make a compilation of all the times shit is going down and snc seek each other out for reassurance, either by touch or just by making sure they are in each other's line of sight? I saw a mini-compiliation on tiktok of Colby reaching for Sam while in the Estes Method (from a different epsiode) and Sam in this episode moving to stand as close to Colby as humanly possibly when shit was going down during this one and it just made me think that they have a habit of doing this shit, huh 🥺.

Anyway, the Estes would've been a 10/10 but I'm deducting 2 points for the annoyance factor with the yammering lol...so 8/10!

I decided to rewatch the videos where Sam and Colby started doing haunted stuff full time from the first biltmore video and I thought I might as well post any silly little thoughts I have! (Also for reference I started watching snc back in late 2017 and watched them religiously until they moved into the second LA house with Corey and Jake and I just recently started watching them again last September and binged all the videos I missed slightly out of order so now I want to watch them in order lol)

The old music in their vids makes me so nostalgic!

I can’t lie the part in the first biltmore video where the lady tells them the story of a girl drawing on the wall in her own menstrual blood haunts me to this day.

Them getting freaked out over the jankiest looking door ever doing a weird knocking sound is such a huge difference compared to how they react to stuff now. They ran from that door.

The enchanted forest/cobb estate video freaked me out so bad when I first watched it. Real people are definitely scarier than ghosts. In general that video was pretty boring but they just started to post ghost content regularly so I’ll let it slide. (Also Elton’s fur coat/cape was so random)

I want them to film at the biltmore presidential suite again so bad. It’s absolutely crazy though that they paid 40k for one night (this was according to Sam and I don’t think he was serious) and they didn’t even properly dust the place or put in fresh lightbulbs in the lamps. They really said you aren’t actually famous so we don’t care. 😭

You wanted to lie in bed all day. You really wanted to. But you weren’t this type of person, you couldn’t just lie all day while not doing anything but crying. It would just make you more frustrated.

So instead you just decided to pour your emotions on a paper and write a song.

You really wanted to make some energetic song where you would just badmouth your ex but you still loved him too much to do that, so instead you wrote a goodbye song for him. And it was really good.

“I want to write you a song, one as beautiful as you are sweet” you hummed to yourself trying to make a melody that would be perfect with your song.

“Already sounds great sweetie.” your manager, Ellie, said coming into your studio room. You deeply regreted giving her keys to your apartment. “What got you writing something like that? It doesn’t sound like love songs you made about Colby.”

“It’s a goodbye song for Colby. I actually wanted to call him an asshole and viagra taker but I just couldn’t make myself do that so I decided to do this. And I actually feel pretty good after writing this.” you shrugged and put your gituar in its place.

Well, maybe that wasn’t the best way to announce your break up to the world but whatever. It’s not like twitter and tik tok detectives weren’t starting to notice little things.

Music started playing right when you started playing your gituar and crowd got silent to listen better to new song.

“I want to write you a song, one as beautiful as you are sweet…” you continued singing and people started to get what you meant, and who you meant, in your little speech and well, you never heard a silence quite this loud.

“I want to write you a song. One to make your heart remember me, so anytime I’m gone you can listen to my voice and sing along. I want to write you a song.” you ended the song with tears in your eyes. Singing it out loud in front of thousands of people made you realize how real that situation was. You were no longer with Colby. And it still hurts.

You could see that some people in the crowd had shock on their faces and tears in their eyes. It was the first time ever it was so silent after you ended a song. And it felt weird but also so right.

It was like a minute of silence for you and Colby and for your relationship. For your memories.

You and Colby were popular couple. Many people said you’re the perfect example of right person in right time, so you knew these news would be heartbreaking for some of your fans.

“I know it’s probably a lot to take in just a moment but it actually felt good singing this out loud. Yeah, some chapters in life ends but that doesn’t mean there’s nothing waiting for us. New chapter is just a new chance and I’m gonna use it as best as I can.” you did a little speech and your fans finally recovered from the news you dropped at them and applaused for you. “I love you guys, I wouldn’t be here without you. And you will make it through this negative feelings. And you will be fine again.

You were in a bar. It was your friend’s birthday party and as much as you liked her, this party sucked. Everybody was so sober and awkward that it made you want to leave.

“Oh hi.” you heard next to you. When you turned you saw Colby.

“Hi” you smiled to him. He looked really good. His black button up was revealing part of his chest and his beautiful blue eyes were shining in dim light “How are you?”

You tried to be civil with him. You were almost used to thought that you are no longer together. It still hurt, especially with world still talking about it since you announced it just few days ago even though you were broken up for few months.

“Good, thanks. And you?”

“Fine.” you smiled awkwardly. You stood in kind of awkward silence and just from looking at him you knew he wanted to tell you something but wasn’t sure how. “Just say it.”

“I like the song you wrote.” he finally choked out and you felt your heart squeezing. You didn’t expect him to start this topic but you just gulped and faked a giggle.

“Thank you.” when you wanted to say something else he stopped you with his words.

“I know I hurt you. I regret it like nothing else in my life but you deserve better. I just didn’t feel like I loved you enough. Not as much as you deserve to be loved. So I didn’t want to hurt you even more with pretending. But maybe…” he quickly shuted up and then changed his words, or rather tried to avoid saying what he started saying. “So I thought that would be better. But I still love you and think that in some way, I always will. But I think it’s better if you find your perfect match instead of being stuck with me. And it might seem cruel for me to say this now but I just wanted you to know that it would be impossible for me to forget someone like you. You changed my life, y/n.”

You wanted to say something but before you realized it he was out of your eyesight so you just sighed and took a sip of vodka.

It’s been a month and you couldn’t stop thinking about Colby’s words.

You had so many questions and it made you sleepless trying to think what you should do or what are answers to these questions.

So now here you were, at Colby’s door in the middle of the night, still in your pajamas, hoping he was home.

You inhaled an air into your lungs and started knocking. Maybe more aggressive than you should but you just were desperate for answers and you couldn’t give up.

Finally moments later, the doors opened revealing sleepy Colby who looked at you confused and then he suddenly were more awake looking at you with concern.

“Everything okay? What happened? Are you hurt or in danger?” he looked over you as if to look for any visible wounds.

“Yes, I mean no.” you sighed and started explaining. “Since Doris’ birthday I can’t stop thinking about your words and it’s fucking crazy. Like, what did you mean?”

Colby could see desperation and tiredness in your eyes and it make him feel bad because he was the reason of your distress.

“I…”

You interrupted him.

“I thought about it so much that i got to a conclusion that you still love me but don’t want to be with me because you’re too… scared of something, like hurting me or whatever. And it hurts so much anyway because I don’t think I can function without you anymore what is so funny to me because I literally wrote a song to get over you. But it didn’t work because I still fucking love you and want you back and I hope i’m right and you also still love me because I think it will break me for good if I’m wrong and you don’t love me anymore. And I might sound so pathetic right now but I don’t care becau…”

This time he was the one who interrupted you. But with the way he did that, you couldn’t be mad.

He kissed you to make you shut up.

You gladly reciprocated the kiss and after a moment he took his lips away just to place his forehead on yours.

“You’re right. I’m still in love with you. But I just felt like my love wasn’t enough, that you deserve so much better. Someone who will always be able to show you his love and share your passions with you and…” now you were the one shutting him up with your lips.

“Don’t say anything. You’re so stupid, Colbs. You’re the only one I want, even if you have your own hobbies. And you showed me your love in a way I loved. I want you, only you.”

Colby smiled at you and took your hands to lead you inside his home.

“I’m so glad you were brave enough to come here because I missed you so much but was afraid to confront you after Doris’ party.” you laughed softly at that and squeezed his hand.

I've got a bunch of random characters with no stories floating around in my head because I like to design characters a lot more than writing.

But I'd say my most beloved are Starbuck (they/them) and Lian (he/him). I actually have a story planned out for them. I really wanna make a webcomic about them and I have a huge list of ideas and an outline. Just gotta do everything else now

Unfortunately I don't have a moodboard, but I do have a bunch of low quality no context shitposts about them.

Starbuck is a really shitty space captain. They have a weird obsession with movies from the 21st century. They're a star! They are a nobody. They are right handed. Their favorite music genre is eurobeat, and they never got their license. Probably failed it 7 times but in a different way each time, so they basically passed it at this point. They're the type of person to get stuck in a glue trap.

Lian was originally a more serious character but everyone I showed him to babygirlified him so hard that now he's this thing.

Lian is definitely my little red pilled baby girl he just like me for real. He likes to play the harmonica. He is wanted on several counts of first degree murder. He is pure evil. He just wants to be loved. He is the right hand of god and the instrument of his vengeance. He is a good person. He's the type of guy to get stuck in a glue trap after calling you a dumbass for getting stuck in a glue trap.

I SOSTENITORI DI ORIENTOCCIDENTE 2023 Orientoccidente, il Festival della Materiali Sonori arrivato alla diciannovesima edizione, si avvale ormai da diversi anni del sostegno di importanti società e strutture. Enti che hanno un valore sociale che sono impegnati in più modi nel supporto di iniziative culturali di rilievo. Prima di tutto Publiacqua che è al nostro fianco da molti anni e attraverso cui promuoviamo le campagne per il consumo consapevole dell'acqua e la difesa e valorizzazione delle risorse idriche, con particolare attenzione ai fiumi e ai torrenti che attraversano la zona spessoproptagonisti degli eventi del festival. well we've had some continuous updates thru out the day but i'll give the quickest of run downs. some of this not snc related, but fandom adjacent.

jc caylen search history popped up during one of his livestreams where it showed that he has searched up his girl friends' leaked onlyfans pics, and also specifically tara yummy's feet...... he hasn't said anything about this as of yet, but it is very, very weird.

zach justice, who is a creator that's friends with snc and tara, is getting cancelled for being racist?? imma be honest i know nothing of it bc i literally don't care about him lol but that's what i heard

then last night k/la girl (sam's girl, in case anyone forgot) went live last night and played a bunch of old snc songs, like the trap house music, love for hire, skin. shit like that. ppl were trolling her and trying to make her play kat's music at one point too

and now TONIGHT k said she wants to go live with m AND just posted a tiktok not that long ago kinda (possibly) making a joke that she doesn't care if kat is apparently making tiktoks about her lol

it's all very messy and childish, but very funny to watch. not the jc or zach shit, but k being petty towards this fandom... ngl i kinda love it sksks

what jobs do you think snc will get into after they quit youtube??

my original thought was that colby was gonna go into editing films or whatever but now that i think about it i can’t actually imagine him doing that… and i don’t think that man wants to touch premiere ever again after retiring lol

I think Sam has a logical head for business, so I could absolutely see him eventually getting into something more behind the scenes - maybe producing/directing, or true entrepreneurialship. I could totally see him being the guy who wheels and deals and is the CEO of like, 45 different brands lol.

Before heading down that path, though, I could see him trying his hand at some kind of philosophy thing- most likely a self-help book or YouTube series. It probably wouldn't last long, but if he stayed in the public eye as a creator, I'd see him doing something like that.

Colby, I feel, would probably also do well with directing and producing, but I feel like he'd probably stay in the content creation lane much longer than Sam would...I just don't know that he'd make youtube videos on his own. Maybe he'd make more music or get into modeling, but as much as I think he's done right now and wants a break, I don't think he'd walk away from the content creation world altogether.

The one thing he won't be doing? Editing 🤣.

🕍 SNC isn't modeled after a Japanese festivals- it's called Summer Night CARNIVAL, it's modeled after North American carnivals. They include other elements to make it culturally inclusive of other summer celebrations. Marching bands play at county fairs. Music Doll matches the dolls you can win in games. Unicorn Kid is the only one that's kinda off theme.
