I honestly…neither expected nor was prepared for this outcome.
#now I will be queuing up some pretty things and disappearing for a bit! (possibly only hours but...just in case.)#i rode a wave of post-vote high until midnight happily watching numbers flip#and amusing myself counting how many thousands of votes apart they were in each state (so relatively few!)#and went to bed peaceful and unbothered: secure in the certainty that we kicked his ass out once and would remind him about it again#snapped awake at 3 AM with Unspecified Dread ; looked at phone to Terrible News#was up for the next 80 minutes and now Very Weary#politics
