Poco M3 has been launched in India with triple rear cameras and a waterdrop-style display notch. The new Poco phone comes as a successor to the Poco M2 that was launched in September last year. Poco M3 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 and includes up to 128GB of onboard storage. Qualcomm mở trung tâm R&D đầu tiên tại Việt Nam

Qualcomm vừa thành lập một Trung tâm Nghiên cứu và Phát triển (R&D) mới tại Hà Nội, phát triển công nghệ không dây (4G, 5G), IoT. 

Ngoài ra, trung tâm mới của Qualcomm còn nghiên cứu công nghệ camera, tăng cường hiệu năng cho các thiết bị di động... Hiện tại, trung tâm sẽ cung cấp dịch vụ thử nghiệm cho các công ty sản xuất thiết bị di động trong nước, như VinSmart, BKAV và Viettel.

Trung tâm của Qualcomm bao gồm ba phòng thí nghiệm về tần số vô tuyến điện (RF) - làm nhiệm vụ kiểm tra chip vô tuyến, đánh giá thiết kế và hiệu chuẩn; kiểm tra mức tiêu thụ năng lượng và hiệu suất (PPT) và điều chỉnh, kiểm tra cảm biến hình ảnh (ISP), đánh giá chất lượng từ kết quả của cảm biến.

Tuy nhiên, do Qualcomm chưa tạo ra cảm biến hình ảnh, nên nhiệm vụ của phòng thí nghiệm thứ ba có thể chuyển sang phân tích ISP hoặc nhận dạng vân tay ảo của Qualcomm - những thành phần được tìm thấy bên trong hệ thống chip Snapdragron.

Theo Techradar, bộ phận nghiên cứu và sản xuất của VinSmart đã hợp tác với Qualcomm và Fujitsu để sản xuất smartphone 5G tại Việt Nam. Modem 5G khá phức tạp nên chưa thể sản xuất được trong nước. Hiện tại, mới chỉ có TSMC và Samsung có khả năng sản xuất loại chip này.

Việt Nam đang là đích đến của một số công ty nước ngoài khác như Samsung, Apple, Nintendo hay Panasonic. Luxshare ICT - công ty chuyên lắp ráp tai nghe Airpods cho Apple - và Samsung vừa tổ chức tuyển dụng hàng nghìn công nhân và kỹ sư trong tháng 6. Qualcomm cũng đang tuyển hàng chục nhân lực Việt Nam cho trung tâm mới.

Nubia X 5G Smartphone with 855 Snapdragon announced in China

5G is one of the fastest developing technologies of next-generation. Many of the tech-giants are working on this technology right now. Now, ZTE’s sub-brand nubia has announced their 5G smartphone at MWC 2019, Shanghai. Basically, Nubia X 5G is an upgraded version of nubia X that was launched last year.

What’s new in nubia X 5G

The nubia X 5G is completely based on nubia X. It comes with the following major changes:

The new nubia X 5G smartphone replaces the Snapdragron 845 processor with Snapdragon 855 processor.

It also adds Qualcomm’s X50 5G modem for the 5G connectivity.

It might also have some minor changes in the thickness.

nubia X 5G will be the first flagship smartphone of the company which will have a notch-less front full-screen display.

It will also have secondary screen at the back.

Rumoured Specifications

However, there are no confirmations about the specs of the smartphone. But, it is expected to have the following specifications:

Storage: 6GB/8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.1 storage

Battery: 3,800 mAh

O Google lançou o Pixel 3 e o Pixel 3 XL em outubro de 2018 e pode já estar trabalhando em uma quarta geração da linha. É o que indica um novo registro no Geekbench, criado na quinta-feira (24) com o codinome “Google coral”.

A página aponta que o aparelho possui Snapdragon 855, 6 GB de RAM e Android Q. As especificações podem adiantar o que o Google pretende oferecer no Pixel 4, previsto para ser lançado apenas no último trimestre de 2019.

Caso sejam confirmadas, elas representariam um avanço ao que foi apresentado com o Pixel 3 e o Pixel 3 XL. Os smartphones contam com 4 GB de RAM e Snapdragron 845. A nova versão do sistema, por sua vez, seria uma atualização natural.

O Android Q deverá ser mostrado pela primeira vez em maio na Google I/O, conferência da companhia para desenvolvedores. O sistema deverá ser liberado aos usuários no segundo semestre e o Pixel 4 será um dos primeiros a recebê-lo.

Antes dele, porém, a linha atual deverá ser ampliada. A empresa estaria trabalhando no Pixel 3 Lite, um modelo mais acessível sem notch e com porta para fones de ouvido. O celular ainda poderá ter Snapdragon 670, 4 GB de RAM e 32 GB de armazenamento.
