I don't know if anyone remembers Code Lyoko, but I've been rewatching it recently, and my opinion still hasn't changed. It's a flawed yet good show, but they did Yumi so dirty. On both Lyoko and Earth, she gets devirtualized first a lot of times, gets the worst torment with XANA, dies once, and deals with other shit on top of that.

On Lyoko:

-> I already mentioned it, but she died or worse despite doing it to protect Aelita. It was Aelita who convinced Jeremy to bring her back. Were you really going to choose someone you thought was an AI over someone you knew on Earth?

-> She almost fell into the digital sea multiple times.

-> Yumi was stranded in the skid, alone in the digital sea.

-> She gets trapped on Lyoko and replaced.

-> XANA steals a DNA fragment from her, and if she was devirtualized, she'd get erased. Again.

-> She gets brutally stabbed by William when he was first possessed. They removed or censored it. I can't imagine how she must've felt to have someone she was a little bit close to turning against them.

On Earth:

-> She doesn't have bad parents, but what I mean by other shit that isn't XANA related, her parents have martial problems. I will say she has a brother, but he's just kind of annoying.

-> Yumi isn't blameless when it comes to their love triangle or square, but Ulrich needs to chill with his jealousy. She would just be talking to William, and he would fight with her before sulking.

-> XANA almost killed her multiple times and really brings the beat down on her. Like, in Cold War, she almost froze to death.

-> She almost had to move to Japan away from her friends, and it would've been harder to fight XANA. When the prequel came out, she didn't have any.

-> A microagression or two.

-> Yumi was close to being expelled.

-> XANA managed to convince her she was dying basically because of the scanners.

-> He has no boundaries when it comes to those vines and could've seriously hurt her.

-> In The Pretender, Johnny follows her around because Ulrich decided to be petty, and Yumi gets hospitalized due to a flock of possessed birds.

-> Yumi didn't get to do much when it came to the last couple of episodes except get wiped out by the Kolossus and get wrecked by Xanafied William.

I know she's not Aelita, and every story needs conflict, but damn. Like, can this poor girl get a break?

This type of widely protruding skirt that appeared around the middle of the 19th century came to be known later under the name of the "crinoline style." As can be seen with this dress, large design motifs proved immensely effective on these voluminous skirts. The border pattern here is wood-block printed and repeats every 20.6 cm. Compared to small-scale designs, large patterns require a solid technique to avoid misalignment of the print colors. Considering that this mixed fabric of silk and wool is a material hard to print on, this dress with its bright and cheerful colors is a particularly fine example on how much cloth printing techniques had evolved.

In real life, neither of my children will accept nose-boopings (Jormie is at least to the point where you can touch the top of his head and he mostly doesn’t care).  Pictures are great because HAHAHAHA BOOP BOOP THIS DOESN’T ACTUALLY BOTHER YOU AT ALL BOOOOOP

I love Jormungandr and Mortimer! Their little faces! I'm on a mission to persuade as many people as possible that snakes are adorable. I have a 4-year-old corn snake named Talyn, but I hope to get another snake, maybe a python, when I get a bigger place. Please share more snaky pictures, I will always be pleased to see them!

This is an excellent mission!  I talk about my snakes at work whenever reasonably possible, and I don’t know that I’ve converted anyone yet, but there’s always next time.

I will probably continue throwing pictures up here occasionally.  I may or may not someday share the link to my existing snake sideblog, as well... it’s attached to my non-Good-Omens Tumblr account, so there’s Considerations there.  But I do love sharing my boys, regardless of which one of me I am.

I don't know where the post went because I was going to reblog it, but if y'all want a cute nickname for Sebastian to call Ciel while capturing the nature of their relationship then:

"Mon trésor." It translates to my treasure. It's simple, it's cute, it's effective.

If you want Sebastian to tease him but still in an affectionate way when Ciel has to cross dress or whatever: Ma chérie. This means my darling. (feminine)

Je t'aime. It means "I love you."

"I can fix him." Has anyone written a story about falling in love with their therapist? You probably already predicted it, but Sebagni.

Mental illness, trauma, and baggage with human Sebastian who has been to many therapists but not one could help him. He goes reluctantly but only on constant pestering/recommendation from loved ones or doctor's orders.

Therapy is stupid, right? So, it might as well have fun with it. How different could this one... God damn! /// /// Is he single?

I feel like this could be done in reverse. Agni commits petty crimes and gets into a lot of trouble, so he goes to a counselor to help guide him on the right path. Dr. Michealis is quite something, too. ~

I like Halloweentown, I really do and I understand the mom wanting to raise her kids the way she wants and being mad because her mother goes against her wishes. However, I think the kids deserve to know their heritage and celebrate Halloween or at the very least why not. Because I say so won't work in the long run.
