...like. i probably Am Capable Of pulling a neo twewy shoka cosplay together in three days before the con But. do i actually wanna invest that effort and money??
#mrrrrr#i do not want to make the dress or try to locate a close enough match#and i don't want to buy a wig#(or give myself bangs and pretend wavy brown is close enough to straight black under a hood)#so that Probably tilts the scales to no#but also... red lipstick and fun facial expressions and oversized kitty hoodie.........#also i am kinda frustrated that it's been over a year since i've done a new cosplay#or even significantly updated an existing#i would make sucha cute shoka!!!!#i'd definitely have to figure out eyeshadow tho#anyway cosplay lineup for kumo is looking like sypha hawks minamimoto#minamimoto pants do somehow still fit#gonna try to fix sypha sandals but honestly i think i'm just gonna shove sabito flipflops into bag as backup no matter what#i am Still! gonna finish sabito! properly!!!!#but that will involve four rounds of block printing and drying and therefore is probably straight up physically impossible#even if i could muster the energy which is perpetually In Doubt#and also i am deeply unsatisfied with that wig and definitely do not have time to order wefts so#anyway. i do not think shoka is going to happen this week But i will play neo twewy and contemplate tonight#i had initially been considering reworking minamimoto for neo twewy version but lmao no#fuckin snakeskin textured coat no way am i bothering to find that#i don't actually have a wig for him so it'd basically be an entire new cosplay#ugh like i wouldn't shave my legs for shoka but i have v appropriate lacy leggings and they would be So!! Doll christmas unboxing… 1!
the first one i opened was Heather grayson, who’s a series 1 doll. i love her half and half aesthetic, it’s quite fun in the black and white sh1 lineup
here’s her in box, sh series 1 came with extra outfits, which is something i definitely miss about the later releases
she’s free! the jacket unfortunately does not really stay on the shoulders once the rubber bands are cut, so i just have her wearing it
first off, let’s take a look at this awesome jacket. the skeleton print is super cool, and i love the tied seams, they’re so cute
her shoes look pretty plain, but they have this gorgeous snake detail on the heel
here’s the second outfit, with and without the jacket. i thibk i like this outfit a little more, i’m just a huge fan of the snakeskin pants. they match the minidress and they’re just so so fun
some face close-ups. heather has a pretty glittery face, both her lips and eyes have glitter. you can also see the rings in her hair, which i absolutely love
here’s the back of her head! you can see she has these little loops on the hair tie with separate yanks of hair on them, which is. interesting. i like it though. she also has a gray streak on either side of the split dye that’s only visible from the back. unfortunately my heather has a little staining on the white side of her hair, but since it’s on the back i’ll manage lol
obligatory .5 shot.
and that’s heather! she’s gorgeous, and i think she’ll look really cute in between natasha and shanelle, the lightest and darkest of the shadow high one lineup!
