Doll christmas unboxing… 1!

the first one i opened was Heather grayson, who’s a series 1 doll. i love her half and half aesthetic, it’s quite fun in the black and white sh1 lineup

here’s her in box, sh series 1 came with extra outfits, which is something i definitely miss about the later releases

she’s free! the jacket unfortunately does not really stay on the shoulders once the rubber bands are cut, so i just have her wearing it

first off, let’s take a look at this awesome jacket. the skeleton print is super cool, and i love the tied seams, they’re so cute

her shoes look pretty plain, but they have this gorgeous snake detail on the heel

here’s the second outfit, with and without the jacket. i thibk i like this outfit a little more, i’m just a huge fan of the snakeskin pants. they match the minidress and they’re just so so fun

some face close-ups. heather has a pretty glittery face, both her lips and eyes have glitter. you can also see the rings in her hair, which i absolutely love

here’s the back of her head! you can see she has these little loops on the hair tie with separate yanks of hair on them, which is. interesting. i like it though. she also has a gray streak on either side of the split dye that’s only visible from the back. unfortunately my heather has a little staining on the white side of her hair, but since it’s on the back i’ll manage lol

and that’s heather! she’s gorgeous, and i think she’ll look really cute in between natasha and shanelle, the lightest and darkest of the shadow high one lineup!

I got my second hand. Clothing brands will just randomly make a whole line of yellow snakeskin stuff. It's so funny seeing jackets, dresses, and shoes in the wild with that pattern akjhfkja. Definitely check out thrift shops because they end up there all the time. I think there are also some on ebay/mercari as well. Mine is the Zara Basic snake print blazer. It's kinda cool because it comes with built-in shoulder pads so the silhouette you get is very nice.

Black gloves, gold chain necklace, and leather pants can be found by shopping around. My eyepatch was Kiwami 2 E3 special merch but I've made early attempts with black felt and elastic before (tho the new Pirate Yakuza game collector's edition comes with an eyepatch as well 😳) I made the steel-tip shoes using moldable thermoplastic beads and spray paint on a pair of crocodile-patterned boots with added buckles. The tattoos were temps :)
