You all know what time it is ( and body dysmorphia is mentioned a few times just thought I would let you know!)

Ok let’s go, So you all know the drill Danny has to booket it out of amity ( GIW, Bad Fenton) and just for a bit more angst everyone who he loves ( Sam, Tucker, jazz) got caught up in the nasty burger explosion and the GIW hit Dani and as a last minute decision Danny has to grow her in himself and because he has the organs for baby incubation ( trans! Danny let’s go! ) so now we have a heavily traumatized teen who is going to be a teen mom and just loss his whole support system and everything he’s ever known yeah we going angsty today anyway so when Danny gets to the ghost zone he a immediately goes to clockwork to help him so after Danny gets healed up a bit and calm down the best he can right now and

now let’s move the pov for a sec so clockwork can’t really take care of Danny and he needs to fine someone who can that’s when he remembers the little pocket dimension that is a little bit hard to go to if your not looking for it so clockwork brings Danny there and on a cliff top there is a abandoned castle that is overgrown and has trees all around it and a healthy population of snakes that equally watch over the place and keeping outsiders OUT and do not tolerate people who are not a part of the …. Group, pack? Wtf do you call a group of snakes { ok so I just looked up what a group of snakes is called and apparently it’s called a den, pit or nest so I’ll be using that information} den and are very picky about who is in the nest and who isn’t but surprisingly the little danger noodles decide that Danny’s friend shaped and now his part of the nest ( also before I forget to mention there is a big ass snake that is the main protection for the others and the castle itself ) and he’s mostly doing things around with the snakes wrapped limply around his neck and shoulders or his arm and or legs they just like hanging around Danny for the most part

And for the JL side of this well you remember that this place is its own little pocket dimension well it is connected to the JL universe and it sorta feels like your in a Fea area not uncomfortable just different, it has a passage in Gotham City to a overgrown manhole cover so somehow Damien finds this manhole in the garden of Wayne manner and Bruce grounded ( aka benched ) him and Alfred is shopping and nobody’s home so it’s just him and he decides to go into the manhole cover it leeds down to a large tunnel so big it is a surprise nobody has found it yet so Damian walks down it for about 2 to 4 minutes before he sees another cover and has to use a lot of force to open it and as he climbs out he sees that it was overgrown to the point that the vines were wiring the thing shut and as Damien looks around he dust himself off he sees that he is in a large forest almost to large if this place was really Gotham than this would have been cut down years before it got like this so he walks around and than he gets to a lagoon it looks like no pollution got here as well that’s when he sees them a person the person has long white hair that looks to be in some kind of braid with silver chains and their wearing what seem like a bunch of white fabric at first glance but is you really look it seems to be a dress but that’s not what really brings his attention to this person it is the snake that are wrapped limply around them one black one that hangs off their shoulders and looks some what of a necklace and they are holding what seems to be a large black marble bowl ( the bowl is for some of the aquatic plants some birds ended up eating most of the aquatic plant and there are almost none left so he’s getting some from the lagoon) 

And that’s all for the moment. Now on to the details of this bitch!

I’m thinking Danny looks a little bit like this

The reason he wears this is because it’s easier to walk around in ( not to mention the moment the rest of the den realized he was with fetus Dani ( or Eleanor I like that name better for her it gives her a bit of her own personality instead of just Danny clone) the big snake who were going to call Vesper ( you get it ) started to carry him around and while sleeping he would wrap around him to keep him warm ok got a bit off track

And for his hair I’m thinking he lets it grow out a bit and the little danger noodles like to bring him bits and pieces of things they think he might like so he ends up with this

But instead of gold I’m thinking silver

Danny makes a nest

So Danny was visiting Dani in the ghost zone and they both get sucked through a portal and into another universe

At first, they look around searching for another natural portal but can't find one, (Fenton luck again)

After some trial by fire they figure out if they save up enough energy they can combine their ability and make a portal themselves

But like I said, they need energy for that lots of energy

So they build a nest, which helps store energy, and helps them rest and since this universe has a fair amount of ambient ectoplasm if they make the nest out of things that have ambient ectoplasm it can cut the time in half!

So dani and Danny start building their nest

And JL are facing a problem

2 creatures are taking artifacts and spellbooks

They swoop in, take what they want and leave, they've tried stopping them but the creatures just ignore them

They are not often seen together but Constantine said they're very similar in structure and magic that they must be related

The odd part is they don't hurt anyone

They don't attack the JL members that try and stop them, they don't go after civilians and they only go after artifacts that contain death magic

The JL don't know what to make of it

Though they might have to up this on the priority list because when Bruce got home, Talia Al Ghul was their and the first thing she said was

"some creature took the lazerous pit"

Getting used to each other

a half-ghost--? no- no wait, that's a changeling. that's even worse.

so i'd like to preface this by saying this stems from me going entirely off the rails thinking about tales of the passerine-- which is frankly quite on brand for me to think of one au, and then develop it so far left ways that it makes another au entirely.

bUT. Context! Danny's ancestors sometime before they immigrated to America had a fae marry into the family. This had its Side Effects. Naturally. The Fentonnightengale responsible for this charmed a fae thanks to their swagless nature and awkward demeanor, so instead of getting eaten the fae thought it was cute instead. The fae marrying into the family had an affinity for music, but that kinda repressed itself by accident -- blame the salem witch trials.

By the time Danny is born, the fae blood has become so latent that it really doesn't show up anymore other than the Fentons Eccentricity and obsession with the supernatural (a latent desire to return home to the fae realm - aka infinite realms). There's an unnatural charm surrounding the fenton that really only creeps almost every human within a visual radius, and Danny is no exception.

hoWEVEr. the accident that turned danny into a halfa in one timeline did no such thing in this one -- it just reactivated his latent fae blood, and reactivated it with a fervor. Effectively turning Danny from a human into a changeling.

Danny just thinks at first that he's a half-ghost -- only to realize later on from Clockwork that he's not one at all. He's very much fae -- which is a wild discovery for Danny to make. It also means his rogues are quite a bit more intimidated by him. Fae are above ghosts in the Infinite Realm Creature Hierarchy, no matter how powerful they are. A fae can still Steal the name of a ghost, so Danny's rogues are rather skittish/unsure around Danny until they realize he doesn't know he's a changeling -- after that, many of them vow to try and keep it secret amongst themselves.

Danny's 'ghost' form is rather birdlike, and in human form his appearance warps to match his comfortability. When he's alone with his friends he starts taking on unnatural features. -- his blue-green eyes brighten and his pupils elongate, his teeth sharpen, and his ears grow longer and animal-like. His hair softens to be more feathery, his nails sharpen. In general he takes on more 'bird-ish' features. At school, around his parents, and when he's stressed, tense, or scared, he looks completely human -- an instinctual survival mechanism.

As a ghost, he has large, pretty wings that gradient from black to dark purple-blue, with a shimmer across the feathers that resembles the aurora borealis. His limbs elongate, his legs becoming bird-like and his talons grow on both his feet and nails. His ears vaguely resemble a rabbit's, although they don't flop down like one. All his teeth sharpen. Razor sharp chompers, capable of biting through bone. His eyes take on a greenish-hue, but otherwise remain the same color, albeit his sclera becomes blue-ish and his pupils become diamond-shaped and white. Rings of seafoam blue circle around his iris, creating a reflective sheen. He makes chirping, creaking noises, and when he speaks there's a faint overlap that is very enchanting.

Overall he's rather beautiful in a terrifyingly inhuman way, its hard to take your eyes off him. He has a lot of feathers. He's very drawn to singing and music in general, and gets into music sometime after his accident. He likes flutes/ocarinas/woodwinds the most, followed shortly after by strings, and then piano. He also slowly loses the ability to lie -- which is really annoying and also terrifying until he learns how to reword himself and become a better wordsmith.

SInce this stemmed from an older brother dpdc au, its gonna stay an older brother dpdc au alsfh. i'll just get to the dpxdc part in another post since i wanted to get this off my chest first

I kept thinking of little baby man Phantom and the potential of Danny being an actual baby of the Infinite Realms. However, he’s more snake teenager than itty bitty Little Baby Man edition, cause I think it’d be so funny to just — imagine this teenage snake curled up in a summoning circle, obviously having been taking a nap and looking up with his big green, sleepy eyes and Constantine just stares and freaks because, “THATS A WHOLE ASS BABY, PUT IT BACK!”

But they can’t because apparently the summoning was more of a ‘knock knock I’m a babysitter’ and Danny’s ghost parent decided that this was the perfect time to have some time for themselves if Heroes were so willing to take care of Danny for a little while.

Another take — mainly in reference to a different post about Klarion actually just being a toddler of the infinite realms with no ideas on how to human and thinks him fighting with heroes is just a play date — zooms into the human realm where the heroes are and just goes, “Hey I’m dropping my baby sibling onto you guys cause my dad got mad last time Danny got hurt by the humans I hang with. So here you go, I’ll pick him up later.”

A teenage snake Danny is dropped into a hero’s arms where he mainly grumbles and then shifts to better take a nap. Klarion drops the baby essentials at them with no further explanations other then “here’s their favorite blanket, if they get fussy taco them; here’s the baby milk make sure it’s -200 F, they have an ice core, etc.” and then just DISAPPEARS after leaving what amounts to a month old infant in human heroes care.

Y’all know H2O? Where some people get cursed to turn into merfolk whenever they get water on them? That, but replace water with ectoplasm and merfolk with naga. 

No, Bruce has no idea how they managed to get cursed or how he ended up with an armful of baby snake-person creature thing. At least this one isn’t black-hair and blue-eyes so his kids can’t complain at him. And it’s not his fault they all fell into this, this was supposed to be a vacation while Lucious, Alfred, and Gordon kept an eye on things back in Gotham. 

On the bright side, his children want to snuggle up for once, which he supposes is nice. And Damian seems pleased about it judging by his rambles about snakes. So there’s that.

Started thinking about Danny and Tim calling each other “bird” and “snake” similar to Selena and Bruce calling each other “bat” and “cat”, since they have the hero and anti hero dynamic to match

but it’s slowly just becoming me saying the phrase “bird and snake, temple and drake” over and over because it rhymes and all four of those names are cool as hell

The little black snake that likes to hang on Danny’s neck name is Opel ( which is ironic ) and the first one of the snakes in the den to become close to Danny and she absolutely brags to anyone she gets in a argument with ( and Danny will have to break up said argument that has now turned into a full on fight )

Also she looks like this

And she’s a sweetheart to Danny and tolerates Damian at best

One of the top reasons I put Danny into the outfit he wears is because it also hides the baby bumb pretty well

Vesper is the second snake to get close to Danny and when he did the rest of the den followed in his…footsteps I guess and now Danny is a fellow snake as far as the rest of the den is concerned

Imagine this: London, 1935. Moderate, humid, and crowded.

Danny Fenton has no fucking idea why he’s in London, 1935. You know, considering he’s American… and the fact that he was born in 1989 in not London.

“What the fuck.”

“My word!” A scandalized woman covered her son’s ears. Danny ignored her, blue eyes skipping around the cobbled stone road and the fog hanging in the air. It’s a good thing he’s got an ice core or else he’d actually be freezing. Danny began to walk, having enough of the strange looks he’s was getting. The half slid into an uncooked and discreet area to turn invisible and intangible. He flew in the streets, taking money from those who would clearly not miss a few notes here and there. First, blend in with the locals and figure out the money situation. Clothes? Second, figure out why he’s here. Third…?

When he was properly clothed, Danny followed that tugging in his core- Fate at it again, no doubt- to the door steps of an orphanage.

“What the hell am I supposed to be doing…?” Danny muttered, circling the property, invisible and intangible.

Then, he saw a boy, hissing to a snake. Ah, Danny thought. There’s destiny.

Except Destiny doesn’t give a shit about the paperwork load that goes into adopting someone. It was a Danny problem, and Danny…

“I don’t have an identity in this world!” He groaned. With one last look at the orphanage and of the boy who looked so much like him, Danny flew off to handle to details of his existence in this universe.

Turns out someone with a duel obsession of being loved and workplace safety has a lot they can do to fulfill that in a city practically built on OSHA violations. Vlad becomes the best mayor Gotham has ever seen. And, to the dismay of several corrupt organizations, incorruptible and unkillable, even if the assassin swore they shot him point blank

The idea that Vlad becomes the Mayor of Gotham is SUCH a fascinating concept. Batman goes to Vlad to try to frighten him into following the law and not taking bribes. Vlad takes bribes but shockingly does turn Gotham around for the better.
