Hello again! I fear I’ve forgotten how to be vulnerable online so bear with me while I update y’all on something I am extremely excited and nervous about! This past year has been so weird for me mentally, I have been trying to re-find a sense of self that isn’t dependent on The Algorithm and figure out how to make art that isn’t dependent on numerical performance while also really struggling with anxiety. (OCD is a bitch that makes it hard to do anything, especially things I love. I desire nothing more than to be known, and yet to be known: I must be seen. Disappointing.) I have had a difficult time trying to work through near constant panic while making the same intimate music for an ever growing audience of people I want so desperately to connect with on a deeper level than an instagram post will allow, so basically all this to say, I have started a Patreon!!! I know it may seem weird to see a musician start a venture onto a more private platform and you maybe be wondering what that means for all my other platforms (including this one) going forward BUT literally nothing is going to change on my public platforms- this is only an addition to support ALL my creative endeavors. There will be essays, demos, long-form video content, book club, media recs, SNAIL MAIL, and more!!!!
