How to configure your GSM modem ?
To configure your GSM modem, you will need to:
Obtain an account with a cellular carrier. The carrier will provide you with a SIM card and account information, such as the APN and possibly a username and password for the account.
Install the SIM card in your GSM modem. Consult the documentation for your GSM modem for specific instructions on how to do this.
Connect the GSM modem to your computer. This is usually done using a USB cable or a serial port.
Install the necessary drivers for the GSM modem. These drivers can usually be found on the manufacturer's website.
Configure the GSM modem. This can be done using a terminal program, such as PuTTY, or through a web interface provided by the GSM modem manufacturer.
The specific steps required to configure your GSM modem will vary depending on the make and model of the modem. However, there are some general steps that you can follow:
Identify the COM port that the GSM modem is connected to. You can do this using the Device Manager in Windows.
Open a terminal program, such as PuTTY.
Configure the terminal program to connect to the GSM modem. Set the connection type to Serial and the serial line to the COM port that the GSM modem is connected to. Set the speed to the baud rate of the GSM modem.
Once you are connected to the GSM modem, you can start sending AT commands to configure it. AT commands are text-based commands that are used to control GSM modems. You can find a list of AT commands for your GSM modem in the documentation.
Some common AT commands that you may need to use to configure your GSM modem include:
AT+CMGFS=1: This command sets the GSM modem to SMS mode.
AT+CSMS=1: This command sets the GSM modem to text mode.
AT+CMGF=1: This command sets the GSM modem to PDU mode.
AT+CNMI=2,2: This command enables the GSM modem to send SMS notifications to the computer.
AT+CSCA="SMSC number": This command sets the SMSC number, which is the number that the GSM modem will use to send and receive SMS messages.
Once you have configured your GSM modem, you can use it to send and receive SMS messages, make and receive voice calls, and connect to the internet.

Fact: In 1991, a document was locked in the safe of the director of the CIA. The document is still there today. Its cryptic text includes references to an ancient portal and an unknown location underground. The document also contains the phrase 'It's buried out there somewhere.' All organizations in this novel exist, including the Freemasons, the Invisible College, the Office of Security, the SMSC, and the Institute of Noetic Sciences. All rituals, science, artwork, and monuments in this novel are real.

SMS solution in LTE
Tumblr media
1) SMS over IP (SIP): Uses Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) to send SMS over IP networks. SMS is encapsulated in SIP and sent through the IMS core network, efficiently leveraging existing IMS infrastructure. IP-SM-GW is required to ensure interoperability between the IP-based LTE network and the legacy 2G/3G circuit-switched networks. 2) SMS over SGs (SGs-AP): Utilizes SGs interface for SMS delivery between LTE and legacy 2G/3G networks. Connects LTE's MME to 2G/3G MSC for SMS exchange using SGs-AP protocol. 3) SMS over SGd (Diameter): Uses SGd interface and Diameter protocol for SMS delivery in LTE without relying on legacy networks. Connects LTE's MME to legacy SMSC/SMGW, employing Diameter for signaling and SMS transport.

"University of Minnesota and Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community Collaborate to Develop Free Indigenous Education for All Online Course" (dated 23 May 2024; shared here on Tumblr on 29 May 2024):
The University of Minnesota's College of Education and Human Development (CEHD) today announced it has been awarded a $1,155,000 grant from the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community (SMSC) to develop and offer an Indigenous Education for All online course free to the public. The grant emerged from the SMSC’s Understand Native Minnesota campaign to improve the Native American narrative in the state. When SMSC reached out to CEHD to support its efforts, the College was grateful and quick to be of service. CEHD’s work on this project aligns with the recommendations of the 2023 Towards Recognition and University-Tribal Healing (TRUTH) report, which advised steps for the University of Minnesota community to be in better relations with Indigenous peoples. “We are honored to partner with Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community to increase Minnesota’s understanding of Native life and practices across the region,” said CEHD Dean Michael Rodriguez. “This project is supported by CEHD’s mission to contribute to a just and sustainable future through engagement with local and global communities to enhance human learning and development across the lifespan.” This project was inspired by the success of the University of Alberta’s highly regarded Indigenous Canada course. This new course aims to increase awareness and knowledge of Tribal Nations in Minnesota, their history and traditions, as well as contemporary Tribal life and governance. The primary target audiences are K-12 educators, school administrators, high school students, and student families. “Our tribe’s goal is to improve the narrative taught in classrooms about Native peoples, which is too often incomplete or inaccurate,” SMSC Chairman Cole Miller said. “We are glad to provide this grant to the University of Minnesota to develop this online course to offer all Minnesotans – and students especially – a reliable, accurate introduction to the history, cultures and modern experiences of Native Americans here in Minnesota.” Cassie Scharber, assistant dean of online and professional education and associate professor of learning technologies, and George Veletsianos, professor of learning technologies, are leading the development of the online course. They will be guided and supported by a community advisory council and a curriculum committee that consists of Indigenous education experts and leaders, knowledge keepers and content experts, curriculum designers, learning technologists, and others. The free online course is expected to launch by mid-2025.

How Can Mobile Terminated Escalate the Functionalities of Your Business?
The term MT remains quite confusing for most people, but the fascinating technology usage is thoroughly functionalized for better communication. If we talk about What is MT (Mobile Terminated)? It can be defined as the mobile message routed by the following client or some type of application and cautiously delivered to the end user's mobile device.
It also defines a voice call that has to be terminated through a user's device from other mobile users over the significant network or PSTN. The word terminated signifies that the following information or message is delivered or terminated over a mobile device. The crucial term also delivers the communication leg between the SMSC, the mobile system of the end user and the MSC.
