Life of Lea Volume 2: Epilogue: Chapter 20: The Cheshire Cat’s Agenda

It was halfway through lunchtime, as it was a slow Monday for a man with cotton candy pink hair, he went through his calendar as it was April 20, 2015, and he had his supplies already in the market and the other places it went.

“I wonder what Daisy is up to” he wondered as he ate his roast beef sandwich.

Suddenly his ringtone goes off as his clam phone vibrates on his desk.

“My personal line? At lunchtime? How curious~” he says with a wide smile as he answers his phone he notices it was who he was thinking of that was calling.

“Good afternoon baby girl, how may I help you today?” He exclaims as his long fluffy tail moves forward in his seat as he leans onto his desk.

“Good afternoon Kit, I need your help with something” she replies in a calm tone.

“Of course, anything for you, darling, need another box of your favorites?” Kitty asks her.

“No…not today, I need your help with pulling a fast one on the B.A.,” Daisy replies in a serious tone.

“Oh?~ Are you asking for me to help you with causing chaos together?~ Oh this isn’t like you~ You usually are the stopping chaos” Kitty says in a teasing tone.

“Yes, for the great of good…” Daisy replies as she takes a breath.

“Oh? Are you asking me to be a hero for you? Of course, anything for you & chaos” Kitty says as he starts levitating his bag towards himself.

“Are you being genuine or flirty with me right now?” Daisy replies unamused.

“Both~,” Kitty said getting up and creating a portal as he ended the call he then exited the portal before gently knocking on her bedroom door.

Daisy then opened her door as she was wearing a lavender sweater and pink yoga pants with white socks.

“You couldn’t have teleported outside to the front of the gate?” Daisy exclaims unamused as she looks at him.

“And where’s the fun in that Madam no shoes?” Kitty replies in a teasing tone before he gestures her white socks.

Daisy rolled her emerald green eyes at him before she summoned with her hands to get her matching pink boots on.

“Let’s go now, Kitty” Daisy exclaims as she summons a portal first before he follows her afterward.

He then closes the portal behind them. He then knocks on the gate as he does the Shave and haircut knock they get greeted by some guards.

“Hello, we are here on the orders of Princess Charlotte the Second Smor Aamodt, I am Daisy Noè Dragifilia and this is Kitty Charles Ruton” Daisy exclaims in a professional and polite tone.

“Of course, we will bring you after we do a bag check first” the tall guard replies as he opens the first layer of the gates to let them in.

Kitty let Daisy in first as he went in after her. The tall & average height guards then go through Kitty’s duffle bag to see some coconuts, glitter, glue, and more glue.

“How are these going to help?” the average guard asks as she looks at Kitty.

“In case we nearly get caught, always come with attack glitter to blind and glue to get them stuck or sticky” Kitty replies nonchalantly.

“Fair enough, as long as you only use it on the B.A. and no one else” the tall guard exclaims as he brings out his hand for Kitty to shake.

“But of course, only if the royal family needs my assistance as well in a prank war as well but other than that no glitter bombs will go ogg on the royal family, I swear it, businessman’s honor” Kitty replies as he shakes the guard’s hand as he smiles widely which made the average sized guard back up a little bit as she saw his Cheshire like a smile.

“Good, now we’ll escort you both inside” the tall guard exclaims before giving them their bags back.

Daisy just side-eye Kitty a bit as they waited in the hallway before the tall guard and average-sized guard went up to Princess Charlotte the 2nd.

“Princess Charlotte, we have news from a couple of beings from the Ice Region” the tall guard announces to her.

“Bring them in…” Princess Charlotte replied as she turned to look at them.

“So…Princess Charlotte is in charge because she is the oldest?” the girl with dark chocolate brown hair asks as she is seated at the table with other beings.

“Yes, as the firstborn as siblings, and as Logan for our guidance and Godfather/Uncle,” Prince Kevin replies as he seems to keep his olive green eyes on the short brunette girl for some reason.

“Think of it as a test when Princess Charlotte becomes Queen” Logan exclaims as he comes back into the room from what it seems.

“Like a vice president kind of situation?” the brunette says while still being confused.

“Kinda” Logan replied as the guards brought over the guests.

As Kitty came out from behind the guards with Daisy.

“Hello my princess, it is, I Kitty Ruton, from the Ice Region and this is the lovely Daisy Dragifilia, also from the Ice Region,” Kitty says calmly with a Cheshire-like smile as he bowed to her.

Kitty noticed that the short brunette girl was looking at him as he then smiled at her she was visibly unsettled at the sight of his sharp teeth and tomcat features at least that’s what Kitty assumed as he backed away. As the brunette turned to whisper to the girl to her right.

“We shall discuss this at lunch meanwhile please please make yourself comfortable until” Princess Charlie explains.

“Miss. Lea will show you over to the library” Logan replied as he gestured to the short brunette.

“Shall we get going, Miss. Lea?” Kitty asks as he swam over to Lea.

“O-Oh…right, let’s go” Lea replied nervously.

“So, is something bothering you? You were looking at me nervously” Kitty says calmly as he quietly observes her.

“Oh, uh was I doing that? I’m sorry if I offended you a little bit” Lea replied nervously.

“It’s fine, I’m used to others looking at me like I’m some kind of demon cat,” Kitty said as he sighed his cat ears lowered as he pouted a bit as Daisy had decided to stay back to catch up with Mimi & Nick.

“I see and I’m sorry for that but in my defense, you do look like the human version of the Chesire Cat” Lea replied as she didn’t back away from him this time.

“Is that a good thing?” he says confused as he doesn’t understand the reference.

“Uh well…the Chesire Cat that is covered in stripes and smiles very widely while talking in riddles & rhythms and being mischievous” Lea explained.

“Very interesting, does he use magic?” Kitty asked he got intrigued as he wasn’t his mutated parts.

“Kinda when he appears his smiles is first to appear then his eyes then slowly his body” Lea replied as she thought to herself she looked like she was drawing the Chesire Cat in her mind as they made their way to the royal library.

“Hm…illusion magic mixed with mischievous intentions? Sounds like me the only difference is that I use transformation as well as other types of magic” Kitty adds as he follows her lead.

"So, you gonna take that as a compliment?" Lea replied awkwardly.

"Yes," Kitty says as he opens the door for her.

Lea nods as she goes into the library and walks over to the librarian’s desk. A sea nettle jellyfish came from the backroom as she had long red braided hair and red eyes.

“Hi honey, how may I help you today?” the librarian asked as she looked at them through her purple glasses.

“Well, Mrs. Ramptin, we are here to get Mr. Ruton a temporary library card for today” Lea replies as she quickly looks at the name tag on her desk.

“Alright, sugar, I got you,” Mrs. Ramptin says with a smile as she goes back to get a library card.

“Thank you, Mrs. Ramptin,” Lea says with a smile as Mrs. Ramptin came back with the temporary card.

“Of course, but if I see or hear any mischief, I will not hesitate to kick you out and take your library cards away” Mrs. Ramptin explains with a stern tone.

“We completely understand Miss. Ramptin we'll keep it quiet" Lea replied as she was given the library card to give over to Kitty.

Lea then gives it over to Kitty before she looks for the comic section, she then goes down 3 rows away from Mrs. Ramptin’s desk Lea finally finds the comic section. As Lea looks around at the comic section, Kitty looks over at the light novels before following Lea to see what she is reading. He then sat by her to get a better look at the page she was currently reading as he saw an image of a battle sequence. Lea looks at Kitty quietly as he is too close for her comfort.

“Gonna flip the next page?” Kitty asks her as he is curious about who would win the battle.

“Sure…but can you back up a bit you are too close” Lea replies as she keeps her eyes on the book and not on him.

“Oh…am I? Sorry,” Kitty says before moving back a bit as his cat ears lowered a bit.

“Better… thank you” Lea replied as she turned the page.

“Well…she is not going open up to me like this…gotta think of something…hm perhaps I’ll bring up the convo I had with Daisy yesterday when we had our brunch da… I mean hangout” Kitty thought to himself.

“So I heard from Daisy that you trained in the Ice Region for about 4 months, tell me about that, please” Kitty exclaims as he is being genuine.

“Yeah, I did train ther- wait how did you know that I trained in the Ice Region?” Lea replied as she closed the book to look at him as she didn’t hear every word he just said.

"My family provides the food, and ingredients for the resort's restaurant plus me, and Daisy had brunch yesterday" Kitty exclaims as he gets his clam phone to show her pictures of the brunch that they had.

" O-Oh......that’s makes sense " Lea replied as she started to think back to when she worked at the Penguin’s Igloo.

"Anyways, Daisy said Mimi called her about a plan you lot thought of. Tell me why she is your backup plan. Maybe I can help you in whatever it is since Daisy wanted my help on this" Kitty exclaims.

".... Why did Daisy tell you that?" Lea asked suspiciously.

"She told me that you all were planning something to do something mischievous on the Bad Apples, and so what kind of man would I be to say no to such a request?" Kitty exclaims as he starts to smile again at the thought of the chaos that will happen.

"Hm... ok I'm listening... what is your plan C?" Lea asked him as she wondered what he would gain from helping them.

“Ah well from how she talked to me” Kitty starts to say before his clam phone goes off as Daisy had texted him the plan, he then opens his texts, “It's simple Daisy sneaks in while I use a disguise spell so nobody gets suspicious, then after we escape, we run to the safe point portal in the Starfish Forest and arrive back in the castle” Kitty explained as he read the texts messages to her.

"Sounds good, but what are you going to put in the cells as replacements? Wouldn't they have cameras in their cell blocks?" Lea asked curiously.

"Well they do have cameras but I'll place an illusion spell so the camera will show no changes from the security guards won't be alarmed when watching through the cameras and as far as the guards in the hallways will see us as Coco and Clive" Kitty explained.

“Huh, that makes sense,” Lea replied as she wondered where the coconut was summoned out of.

“Yeah so King Chuck and whoever else is there with him will be saved at midnight, when everyone should be asleep” Kitty explained as he had noticed that Lea was looking a little sleepy.

“So, Daisy is preparing for a sneak-in, a type of saving mission?” Lea asked him.

“Basically yes, so that is why I am here, so I can tell the others of this plan as well help cover her tracks to watch her back, so once we get into their HQ, King Chuck will have our exit route dugout,” Kitty replied as he kept reading the text messages to her as he added his ideas in as well.

“So that’s the whole plan…who fixed the entering plan together?” Lea asked him.

“Mimi and Princess Charlotte had a long chat when Mimi returned,” Kitty replied as he read the new text message.

“Hm…ok,” Lea says softly as she thinks about talking to Mimi to ask about that long conversation.

Prince Robert then comes into the library and goes over to them as Nick goes in after him as he is looking for a particular section.

“Charlie is ready to talk with you and dinner will be done soon” Prince Robert exclaims.

“Alright then lead the way, Prince Robert” Kitty replied as he got up to check out the book that Lea had put down as he seemed eager to do something before taking his leave from the library.

Lea quietly glares at Kitty a little bit as she gets up from her seat and Mrs. Ramptin looks at Lea calmly as Kitty can feel their glares he goes to find Daisy.

“Hey Daisy, where are you, I’m done in the library” Kitty texts her on his clam phone.

“I’m in Princess Charlotte’s bedroom currently” Daisy texts him back.

Kitty then summons a coconut with a pink straw as he goes over to Princess Charlotte’s bedroom. Kitty then knocks on Princess Charlotte’s bedroom door with the Shave and haircut knock as he summons 2 coconut drinks.

“Come in Mr. Ruton” Princess Charlotte exclaims through the bedroom door.

Kitty then uses his salmon tail half to open the door as he comes in he sits by Daisy and gives her the coconut in his right hand. Daisy then gently takes the coconut as Mimi and Princess Charlotte go over the plan on the whiteboard.

“Ok Kitty, now that you have heard the plan, do you have any questions or ideas?” Mimi asks him as she turns to look at him.

“Nope, I’m always here to cause some chaos even if it’s for the greater good” Kitty replies before going back to drinking his coconut drink.

“Great, now let’s go have dinner before we go through with this plan, yeah?” Daisy adds that she wasn’t too eager to cause chaos but being that Kitty was an expert at causing chaos she supposed it wouldn’t be too bad.

“Of course, with all the fast swimming you will have to do with this plan” Princess Charlotte replies as she desummons the whiteboard they get up to make their way to the dining hall together.

Once they got into the hallway, they saw Lea waiting there with a book.

“Did you need something, Lea?” Mimi asks her as Princess Charlotte, Kitty, and Daisy make their way to the dining hall first.

“Uh… yeah, I was curious about the long conversation you had with Princess Charlotte when you had been returned safely,” Lea asked as she glanced at Kitty for a moment as if she had missed an opportunity to do something.

“Sure we can discuss it after dinnertime” Mimi replies as they make their way to the dining hall as they talked too.

Once dinnertime came to an end, Daisy & Kitty made their way to the middle point in the Starfish Forest afterward.

“Let’s get this plan going” Daisy whispers to him.

Kitty smirks as he nods in agreement he snaps his fingers and casts his illusion spell to disguise them. They then use an opening door spell to let them in without leaving evidence of a break-in. Daisy casts an invisible compass spell to show them their way to the cell that is holding King Chuck. Kitty keeps his guard up in case someone comes from any angle. Daisy and Kitty then quietly make their way to the jail cells Daisy goes down the cells to look for the King only to see Oliver in a cell while on her way. Daisy then uses the open-door spell as she has an idea to question why he was in there once they all got to the Aamodt Castle. Kitty found King Chuck, Lady Gwendolyn, and Lady Genevieve in the jail cells a bit downward from Oliver.

“We are breaking you all out of here, follow us but later I will need to talk to you privately” Daisy whispered to Oliver as Kitty had already cast an illusion spell before getting in.

The illusion spell made the camera show the guards that all the prisoners were asleep in their cells as it hid Daisy and Kitty’s handy work plan. Oliver, King Chuck, Lady Genevieve, and Lady Gwendolyn were then turned invisible with the disguise spell. King Chuck lifted his mattress so they could all escape through the now-finished escape route. Once everyone got into the escape route, they made their way out of the Bad Apple HQ2. They quickly and quietly swam to the safe point in Starfish Forest. Once in the forest, Kitty snaps his fingers to undo the disguise spell. King Chuck takes a deep breath and is glad he has used four magic shovels instead of one.

“So, we are free and the magic shovels turned back into small shovels when done digging…now we can go home,” King Chuck says once he ensured they didn’t get followed.

“Indeed, and I got all four of them as we swam away” Kitty replied as he took them out of his pocket to show them the four little shovels.

“I guess we should stay with you at the castle so we can be guarded, right?” Lady Gwendolyn points out. “Yes, right now, let’s go” King Chuck replied as he opened a portal to the Aamodt Castle.

Daisy went into the portal holding Oliver’s wrists as she was in her let’s get this over with state of focus. Oliver looked at her quietly as he followed her and didn’t fight back as they went into the portal. Kitty, King Chuck, Lady Gwendolyn, and Lady Genevieve follow them into the portal afterward. The portal then closes behind them afterward. Once they got back to the Aamodt Castle, King Chuck brought Lady Genevieve to the infirmary to be checked out in case of any injuries.

Daisy went over to Kitty and she asked him, “Hey can you watch the main house for a bit please?”

Kitty nodded as he then took his leave for a bit as he cloned himself he sent the clone to the main house and went back to the library and he wondered if the next volume was there he then spotted Lea who was reading the book from earlier.

“Hey there Lea, I see you reading our book from earlier, how is it?” Kitty asked her as he sat by her again.

Lea flinched a bit as she was caught off guard, Kitty couldn’t help but hold back a laugh.

“Yeah, it’s great, do you need to surprise me like that?” she replied as she kept the book close to herself.

“Hm…alright then,” Kitty says as he backs up from her before sitting elsewhere on the couch.

Lea sighed in annoyance as he did so as Kitty didn’t understand why she was now annoyed. Vanessa sees all of this and then goes over to them as she stands as she stands before Lea.

“Hey, dude do you want to go grab something to eat at the dining hall or in town with, me & your mom?” Vanessa asked her as she could tell that Kitty wasn’t all in her business but just sat by Lea this time.

“Sure, sounds great” Lea replied as she closed her book and checked out the book before leaving with Vanessa. Kitty was left confused before his clam phone started to vibrate in his coat. He then took it out of his pocket as he opens & went through his text messages Daisy had texted him, “Hey, where is the real you?”

“I’m in the library on a couch by the graphic novel section” Kitty texts back before going through his other text messages that he got a text from his contact labeled as “Bestie”.

“I heard from a townsfolk in Fri Town who knows where the location of the Bad Apples location so come back to the house so we can get ready to head over to Fri Town, okay?” his bestie had said in his text message.

“Of course be back soon” Kitty texts back as Daisy comes over to him as she visibly looks tired.

“Let’s get going…” Daisy exclaims as she sits on his lap unknowingly as she thought she was nuzzling into the couch.

“Sure, of course, anything for you, baby girl” Kitty replies before gently picking her up he opens a portal to the main house he levitates their bags behind as he enters the portal he then gently tucks her into bed before putting her bag on her ottoman before noticing a certain book that he knew wasn’t her’s as he noticed the very distinguished v that could be mistaken for the symbol for Aries before he had remembered the conversation he had heard back in December.

He chooses to not say anything before he gently kisses her forehead before he leaves to get over to Fri Town as he meets up with his “Bestie”.

“Ready to cause more chaos?” his bestie exclaims with a smile.

“Of course but let’s be quick, I wanna get some sleep, please” Kitty replies before summoning a water bottle to drink from.

“We can do it tomorrow, sleep is important” his bestie exclaims as they look at him with concern.

“No, let’s follow while the trail is warm” Kitty replies as he stretches his back a bit.

“Sure, then let’s go” his best friend exclaims before leading the way as they make their way through the town they get over to the apartment building and his best friend presses the correct buttons to signal his source as they wait outside as it starts to rain. Kitty hisses as he summons their umbrellas before they hear the signal to let them in they get let inside and go up to the apartment on the top floor.

“What time is it right now?” Kitty asks he stretches his arms as his tail holds their umbrellas.

“It’s currently 12:35 am” his bestie replies as they go forward to the apartment down the hallway.

“Alright, let’s be quiet since there are beings that are sleeping currently,” Kitty says in a soft tone as his bestie nods as he leads the way to the door he knocks on the door before it opens up to reveal a woman with long cherry red hair.

“Thank you for getting back to us, Mrs” Kitty exclaims in a polite and soft tone.

“Of course, sorry for having you two come over late, work was super long today,” the lady says before giving them a piece of paper.

“It’s quite alright sorry that we had to come in person, we are waiting for our business cards to be reprinted” Kitty replies before yawning.

“It’s alright, my husband was ready to be here in case” the lady starts to say as her husband came over, “I guess I’ll walk you both out in the morning since it’s late and raining like cats & dogs out there for the most of the night” her husband adds as he scratches his neck a little bit.

“Are you sure, we don’t want to intrude” Kitty replies as he stands beside his bestie.

“It’s gonna be raining all night, we are sure, the couch is a pull-out bed” the husband exclaims as he repeats himself a little bit before bringing over some blankets and pillows from the closet in the hallway.

“It’s the least we can do for making you wait for so long to get that info” the lady adds as she stands by her husband.

“Oh well…if you two insist, sure, and thank you” his bestie replies as he takes the blankets and pillows.

“Of course, and thank you for being so generous” Kitty replies as he puts their umbrellas on the couch.

“We will be sure to pay you both back for letting us stay for the night” his bestie adds with a smile as he summons towels, their pjs, brushes, and toothbrushes.

“Oh, of course, thank you so much, the bathroom is down the hall to the left” the lady replies as she points in the direction before going to the main bedroom with her husband.

“We could have teleported home but I guess it’s nice of them not to worry about water being teleported into the house” his bestie adds before he goes to the bathroom first.

“Anyways we should get some much-needed sleep” Kitty replies as he goes into the bathroom to change into his pjs.

“Fair, chaos can wait for us, good night, Kit” his bestie exclaims as he lies on the right side of the couch.

“Night,” Kitty replies as he puts his clothes by their umbrellas before he then lays on the left side of the couch.

The next morning, Kitty woke up to the sound of breakfast being made. As Kitty sat up, he slowly stretched upward as his tail extended outwardly as it accidentally whacked his bestie in the face.

“O-Ow…” his bestie says before moving his tail away.

“Oops, sorry about that, I didn’t break your glasses did, I?” Kitty replies as he wraps his tail around his waist.

“No…you didn’t break my glasses” his bestie replies as he picks up his glasses off his clothes pile.

“Oh…that’s good” Kitty replies as they get up from their spots before heading over to the kitchen table.

“Ah, you two are up now, just in time for the rain to have finally been finished,” the lady with the cherry red hair says as her husband helped cook as he was making pancakes.

“Ah wonderful, thank you again for letting us stay the night” Kitty exclaims with a sleepy smile.

“Of course, teleporting rainwater into one’s freshly cleaned house is quite frustrating” her husband replies as he serves the freshly made coffee and brings some mugs over to the table as Kitty & his bestie sit at the chairs by the balcony.

“True, thank you for being so thoughtful” Kitty exclaims as he gets given the milk, cream, and then the sugar by the lady before bringing the plates and utensils.

“Of course,” she says with a smile before she gives them their napkins.

Kitty & his bestie then made the coffee the way they liked it before serving themselves their portions. The wife & husband also served themselves and ate in silence as the pancakes were warm & fluffy but also sweet with the maple syrup dripping down the stacks. Once everyone finished eating and drinking their coffee, they all got ready the wife got ready for work and the husband led Kitty & his bestie out of the apartment complex as they finished first.

“Good luck with your search” the husband exclaims as he is also ready to head over to work he is wearing exercise clothes and holding a good-sized gym-ready bag over his shoulder.

“Thank you,” Kitty says before they depart from each other as the town is bustling with the daily morning rush.

“Should we go through town the long way or not?” his bestie asks curiously before yawning a little bit.

“Hm…a little chaos for the morning, I guess” Kitty replies as he is also still feeling a little sleepy.

“Sure, why not,” his bestie says as he casts a chaos spell on the morning rush they go elsewhere as Kitty & his bestie enjoy their morning stroll.

“So how was your baby girl?” his bestie adds with a smug smile despite him knowing that they were going to be busy for the next 3 days.

“Oh, she was fine, now let’s get back to business, we got groceries & supplies to give out” Kitty replies as he lightly blushes a little bit.

“Oh of course,” his bestie says as they teleported to their business at the Ice Region.

For the next 3 days, Kitty & his bestie were busy giving out supplies to the businesses that they worked with. It was now April 23, 2015, it was a bit slow for a Thursday as Kitty was just chilling in his office as he went through his Excel sheet of today’s supply & demand.

His bestie texts him, “I’ll be right back, I’m going to get us lunch”.

“Yes, it is” his bestie texts him back as he is in disguise as he goes to get their hamburgers & french fries with 2 colas.

“I’ll tell him about the book I saw at Daisy’s when he gets back,” Kitty thought to himself as he did his math of the totals on his Excel sheet.

“Maybe Lea would know something, she isn’t that dumb, is she? She’s been around Mimi & the others for like 4 months now, so she must have heard something, I mean Daisy has only told me as much as she was willing to tell me about…but then again Mimi’s siblings or Daisy’s little brother could also have heard something too” He thought to himself as he reminisces about their childhood before going over tomorrow’s schedule as he had many questions about this Bad Apple situation going on.

He sighs before turning in his chair as he reads the book he “borrowed” from the royal library as he waits for his bestie to get back with their lunch. After 15 minutes, the doorknob goes off and Kitty puts the book down as he is even more hungry at this point.

“Kitty, I’m back! Let me in, I have news for you” his bestie exclaims once at the door.

“About time… what took you so long?” Kitty replies for Lea to kick him in his con coins.

Kitty groans and falls to his knees before Lea's high kick pins him to the floor.

“Surprise motherfucker,” Lea says while smiling with annoyance.

“Oh…well hello pretty kitty princess~” Kitty replies with a playful expression and tone despite being in pain.

“Shut it pussycat we have questions for you,” Sergean says as he glares at Kitty in annoyance.

“Oh? What about the green giant?” Kitty replies smugly.

“Why did you put a chaos spell on the town folk?” Sergean asks as he crosses his arms.

“I don’t know why Lea is wearing a dress during the interrogation. Did she want me to have a sneak peek? Let me guess she learned this from Madam Sour Puss, yes?” Kitty replies before chuckling through the pain.

“Sour puss? Who are you talking about?” Lea says confused as she keeps her foot on his back.

“Well from the tell of your shorts, Miss. Sour Puss hasn’t told you why she’s helping with the plan against The Bad Apples, I mean a cat and two teens could take a book anytime” Kitty replies as he only glances upward once.

“A book?... Hold on, are you talking about Mimi? She’s not a sour puss, she’s more like a sassy delight” Lea exclaims as she just guessed who he was talking about.

“Haha as if, she’s only being risky so she can avenge Dr. Fei and Dr. Perla Lay” Kitty replies smugly.

“Her parents? What does their passing have to do with the Bad Apples?” Sergean asks he crosses his arms a bit.

“Ask her bestie, she knows their story” Kitty replies as the pain slowly subsides.

“Fine but we’re bringing you and your bestie with us,” Lea says curiously as she removes her foot off of his back.

Sergean uses the same rope spell and ties Kitty and his bestie together. Kitty was then lying on his back as he was facing the ceiling which just squished his bestie as he was a lot bigger than him in height and weight when taking his pink fluffy tail into account.

“I guess, I’ll be seeing Daisy soon again…oh well,” Kitty thought to himself.

Misophonic Sans

(Before the fic begins, I’d like to say that the following is based off an actual mental illness. It’s an extremely dangerous, and fairly unknown illness. In fact, it was only recently recognized less than a decade ago. There is no cure, and the only treatment facility is in California. Because of this, it’s commonly misdiagnosed and treated improperly. Misophonia; Despite it’s name meaning “hatred of sound,” it is so much more than just a dislike for a noise. This illness forcefully triggers emotional distress within a person. It’s a form of PTSD. In mild cases, sufferers can lose control over their emotions and not understand why. They can become angry or depressed. In moderate cases, sufferers can have panic attacks. In severe cases, the patient can lose complete function of their emotions, mind, and body as the illness takes control. They can also attempt suicide in order to get away from the noise. I have severe Misophonia. The following fanfic is based off my own experiences with the illness.

It was a quiet afternoon. the barrier had been broken, and monsters lived on the surface with humans. It wasn’t a perfect co-existence, but it beat the Underground any day. Sunlight beamed onto the living room, setting everything in it’s reach in a dull fiery glow. The windows were open to let in cool air. Smells from outside wafted into the house. Sans was laying on the green couch from their old home. He and Papyrus were pretty attached to the old thing. Many memories had been made on that couch. Many snoozes had been had.

The small skeleton was drifting off to sleep, the warmth of the sun blanketing his bones. Frisk wondered into the room, a bag of chips held in their tiny hands. The plastic crinkled softly as the child sat down in front of the television. Grabbing the remote from the coffee table, Frisk flicked the TV on, and a song began to play from some children’s show. Sans was more awake now, but he kept his eyes closed. The TV volume was low and was just white noise in the background.

CRUNCH

The skeleton’s eyes shot open at the sudden disruption of peace. He glanced around, attempting to find the source of the disturbance.

CRUNCH

Sans turns towards the child who sat less than 6 feet away from him. Their hand was rummaging through the bag before them. Light, crisp, shuffling echoed from the bag and into the room. Sans squinted his eyes in annoyance, then closed them once more. He wasn’t going to let it bother him. He was just gonna fall asleep anyway, so who cares? The room was silent, save for the low hum of the television.

CRUNCH CrUncH crUnCh cruNcH

Sans opened his eyes again, glancing at the child. They were chewing with their mouth open. The chips sloshed back and forth in their mouth, mushing in between their teeth and cheeks, scraping across enamel. Sans felt his body stiffen slightly as he re-positioned himself, as if it would ease the sounds from his mind.

Crunch smunch smuck slush

Sans felt his body tighten. The sound began to seep into his body, echoing through his mind.

Wet, slurping, munches were the only thing he could focus on. He tried to pull his attention away, but for some reason his mind forced him to follow the noise. The sounds of the television began to merge with the slopping mashes of the tongue and the mushy food that threw itself back and forth in Frisk’s mouth.

The air around Sans began to constrict. His body began to ache from the pressure he just noticed he was applying to his bones from his fingertips. He didn’t stop. He dug his fingers into his bones even harder. He wanted to leave. To escape.

He couldn’t move his body. He was internally screaming, pleading, begging for his body to move.

His body refused to obey him. His bones were shaking, as if they were conflicted on moving or staying. His back began to arch, and his body started to fold up, his legs were forced towards his head, as his neck strained to reach them. His shoulders pushed his elbows away from his torso, as his hands were pulled to his skull.

Shuffle Shuffle Crunch smorsh smash

His covered his ears, but his mind forced him to listen for the sounds surrounding him. To notice every detail of the noise. Every interval between each noise. Every peak in sound. He was pushing air out of his lungs in quick, short huffs, and not drawing any back in. The sound of the television became a whine that teased his mind, reminding him that were was no silence between the sounds he was now dreading. His lungs ached. He couldn’t breathe. He couldn’t move. His body was acting on it’s own, shaking uncontrollably as it distorted it’s position, forcing his limbs into uncomfortable poses.

The sound had stopped, but he could still hear it. He saw Frisk staring at him. He could hear them ask if he was okay. He was fully aware of the child coming closer, hand reached out to get the attention of the skeleton. Sans was completely aware...

But at the same time, his body wouldn’t cooperate. It continued to seize, echoing the sounds in his brain. His mind itched. His thoughts ached.

He screamed, and he just kept screaming. He couldn’t stop. He didn’t want to stop either. It felt like screaming was the only thing he could do to ease the pain. All the while, screaming just made the pain worse. He had no options.

He tried to ask Frisk to turn the television off. To give him a moment of silence. But his screams couldn’t turn into words. So he just kept screaming. He was begging his body to move. To leave the room. To find silence.

But it ignored him.

“Crunch smash shuffle squeak smunch shuffle slosh”

It played in his head over and over and over and over again.

It over powered every thought, every emotion, every movement.

He had no control.

(Sorry for dumping this on you guys. I was in class when I wrote it. Someone was chewing really loudly and it was the only thing I could do to keep myself from going into a fit. I could barely hold the pencil. So I’m glad my handwriting was legible enough for me to read it to type it up. If you’d like additional information on Misophonia, you can PM me. I’m not an expert, but considering I have it, I’ve done a lot of research on it. So I’ll answer what I can.

TO ANYONE ELSE WHO HAD MISOPHONIA, PLEASE KNOW THAT YOU ARE NOT AT FAULT FOR IT. It is not your fault that this is happening to you. Stay strong. Don’t let anyone tell you that you’re over reacting. Just do your best to keep the fits at bay. If they happen, they happen. You tried. You did good. <3
