Indulge in the savory and smoky goodness of extra thick smoked pork chops. The perfect blend of spices in the dry rub enhances the natural flavors of the meat, while slow smoking ensures a juicy and tender result. A delightful dish for any barbecue or smoked meat enthusiast.
Ingredients: 4 extra thick pork chops. 1/4 cup kosher salt. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 2 tablespoons black pepper. 2 tablespoons paprika. 1 tablespoon garlic powder. 1 tablespoon onion powder. 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper. Wood chips for smoking hickory or applewood recommended.
Instructions: Combine kosher salt, brown sugar, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper to create a dry rub. Rub the mixture generously over both sides of each pork chop, ensuring even coverage. Place the pork chops in a sealable plastic bag and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to penetrate the meat. Preheat your smoker to 225F 107C and add the wood chips according to your smoker's instructions. Remove the pork chops from the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature while the smoker heats up. Place the pork chops on the smoker grates, leaving space between each chop for proper smoke circulation. Smoke the pork chops for approximately 2.5 to 3 hours or until they reach an internal temperature of 145F 63C. Allow the smoked pork chops to rest for 5-10 minutes before serving. Serve hot and enjoy the rich, smoky flavor of your extra thick smoked pork chops!

These smoky sweet potato burgers are a great vegetarian option that are full of great flavors. The roasted garlic cream makes the dish rich and creamy, and the avocado makes it fresh and creamy at the same time. Every bite has the right amount of different tastes and textures.
Ingredients: 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and grated. 1 cup black beans, cooked and drained. 1/2 cup breadcrumbs. 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped. 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped. 1 tsp smoked paprika. 1/2 tsp cumin. Salt and pepper to taste. 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt. 1 head of garlic. 1 avocado, sliced. 4 whole wheat burger buns. Lettuce and tomato for garnish. Olive oil for roasting garlic.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 400F 200C. Cut the top off the head of garlic to expose the cloves, drizzle with olive oil, wrap it in foil, and roast for about 30 minutes or until the cloves are soft and golden. While the garlic is roasting, combine the grated sweet potatoes, black beans, breadcrumbs, red onion, cilantro, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl. Once the garlic is done roasting, let it cool slightly, then squeeze out the roasted garlic cloves and mash them into a paste. Mix the roasted garlic paste into the Greek yogurt to create the roasted garlic cream. Shape the sweet potato mixture into 4 burger patties and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake the sweet potato patties in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden and cooked through. Toast the whole wheat burger buns in the oven for a few minutes until they are lightly browned. To assemble the burgers, spread a generous amount of roasted garlic cream on the bottom half of each bun. Place a sweet potato patty on top, followed by sliced avocado, lettuce, and tomato slices. Top with the other half of the bun and serve your delicious Smoky Sweet Potato Burgers with Roasted Garlic Cream and Avocado.

These Ultimate Grilled Pork Chops will help you get better at grilling. Soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and spices are mixed together to make a tasty marinade for these chops. They are juicy, tender, and full of smoky goodness from the grill.
Ingredients: 4 bone-in pork chops. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon brown sugar. 1 teaspoon paprika. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme. 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper. Salt to taste.
Instructions: To make the marinade, mix the soy sauce, olive oil, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, paprika, black pepper, dried thyme, and cayenne pepper in a bowl with a whisk. Put the pork chops in a shallow dish or a plastic bag that can be closed again, and pour the marinade over them. Make sure the chops are well covered. Put it in the fridge for at least two hours, or overnight for the best taste. Warm up the grill over medium-high heat. Take the pork chops out of the marinade and sprinkle them with salt. Let any extra marinade drip off. For about 5 to 7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 145F 63C, put the pork chops on the grill. The chops may need more or less time to cook depending on how thick they are. After cooking the pork chops, let them rest for a few minutes. This helps the juices stay in, so each bite is juicy. If you want, you can serve it hot and top it with fresh herbs.
