Lusttale and some variants with Naga s/o half snake half human who likes tio sometimes cuddle, gives affection and loves sunbath ,their scales shine on the light :3
Haha Are You Snake? Cause You Got Me All Wrapped Up Aha.... Oh Wait You Are One
Lusttale Sans: He lovessss to spoil you, anything you want, he's got it (of course... Something that is actually within his skill set but He Tries™) You like sunbathing? Well hot dog on stick, he's finding you the best spot where the sunshine hits your scales real nice, he loves the iridescent look your scales take on. Can and will flaunt about you to the others, like duh, have they seen you? You're his pride in more ways than one and he will always let you know.
Lusttale Papyrus: You thought UT Papyrus was the only one into skincare? Oho, you're in for a very pleasant surprise. He will make sure you've got all your bases covered. Your scales feeling a little dry and flaky? He's already making up a homemade serum just for you. Having an off day? No worries, love, just sit back and let him spoil you. Also if you're taller than him, he's definitely swooning over you, heart eyes for days when you lift him up. Please, let him shower you in his affection or he might just explode.
Sans: Well, well, you think you're the only one who's infected with the cuddle bug in this household AND be lovestruck, too? Nuh uh, not when he's around. He's so hopelessly smitten by you, literally do not let this man's lax demeanour fool you, he's head over heels it's hopeless. You'd know with how much his hand lingers over your scales, how he would make an active choice to lay against you if you're much taller than him rather than the very empty couch that's like... Right beside you. He revels in your affections, he will seek, nay, yearn for it even.

Harana to Mi Vida
Tumblr media
In which Camilo Madrigal, your best friend since diapers, musters up the courage to serenade you, hopefully getting your acceptance for him to court you.
Harana to Mi Vida part ii, masterlist !!
Tumblr media
Camilo Madrigal was never nervous. Always confident with a smirk that can never be wiped from his features, the shapeshifter was known throughout the village of Encanto as confident, cocky, maybe even a trickster some would say. Point is, Camilo Madrigal was never seen without that cocky smile on his face. Though as he stood in front of your home, dressed in his chameleon patterned yellow ruana, Camilo Madrigal couldn’t deny the hammering of his heart against his chest which would probably be heard by his sister Dolores from where he was at, or the way he squirmed as he gazed at the windows of your room where you should be. Deep breaths, Idiota. He scolded himself.
Camilo fidgeted with his yellow ruana as he held a bunch of carefully picked flowers that he got from Isabela. He was nervous, hands clammy as sweat rolled down his forehead. I mean who wouldn’t be? Here he was in front of his soon-to-be beloved’s home, well at least if everything went according to plan, with Mirabel for both moral support as well as his companion for tonight’s event. Mirabel held a tiple in her hand, giving him a thumbs up as she pushed up her green-rimmed glasses.
“Tio Bruno has loads of experience in romance! Just ask the rats, primo!” She had said once he had asked her for advice. In hindsight he should’ve questioned it a bit more but Camilo was clueless when it came to.. romance. Sure he was a flirt but love? Love that made your insides twist in a pleasant way, love that made butterflies flutter in his tummy, love that he swore he’d cherish and always protect? love that he most likely felt for you?
You had been the bestest of friends as long as he could remember. Growing up alongside the curly haired shapeshifter of the Madrigal family, you stuck with one another through thick and thin.
"Wherever you go, I go, Madrigal." You would always say with that sweet smile of yours. You were two peas in a pod. Stuck to the hip and inseparable no matter what.
He didn’t know when he felt his feelings or thoughts of you shifted from a friend to something more but it had happened. Camilo was absolutely smitten. He would catch himself staring, his warm chocolate eyes studying your face whenever you weren’t looking. Picking up on your habits of either your knee bouncing when you were anxious or the little scrunch of your nose whenever you laughed. His cheeks heating up and a rosy tint decorating his face when he would lay awake at night, staring at the ceiling and reminiscing about the day's events with you. Every little thing about you, he swore to memorize. Sometimes he would try to turn himself into you but when the boy gazed at himself in the mirror to see 'your' face staring right back at him? He collapsed into a fit of blushes and romantic excitement as he covered his face, turning back to himself once more. He was whipped for you.
With you, he didn't need to be anyone else but himself. With or without a gift, you had told him, he will always be your favorite Madrigal. And he swore he heard church bells ringing at that moment.
Though the first step into his happily ever after was actually asking you for permission to court. Either you were painfully oblivious or Camilo hid his affection for you very well, because the poor boy was clueless whether or not you had liked him back in the way he liked you. Thus he turned to an unlikely duo who had suggested Camilo serenade you. Or at least that was one of the multiple romantic scenarios that his Tio Bruno and Maribel had come up with as he had asked for help to woo you. Woo her, they said. Serenade her. Let (Name) know how you feel with a heartfelt song. A little bit of help from his cousin Isabela and a tiple, and he was all set.
He sucked in a breath as he nodded at Mirabel who had slowly began to strum the tiple which she had borrowed from the local band in town. The night was quiet except for the chirping crickets and the soft murmur of Encanto’s townsfolk as they return home from a hard day at work. Though it would soon be accompanied by the soft melody of the tiple.
“Do or Die, Camilo. Don't be a galline.” He mutters to himself.
He held onto the flowers in his hand tightly, clenching it so hard that he had felt the sticky sap on his palms. His curls stuck to his face and he could feel his voice crack as he began to sing the first words of the song that would hopefully earn your sweet 'Yes'.
Tumblr media
A.N So, I tried something? Um, hopefully I used the words or terms right. I also tried incorporating the culture of the Harana or Serenade. I'm trying my best to research more into Columbia's culture, please do let me know what you think? Possible part 2?

Gravity Keeping You with Me
Pairing: Luisa Madrigal x Reader
Warnings: None
Word Count: 2,710
Summary: Whilst collecting carts on the edge of town after a freak mudslide, Luisa spots you in the market and is instantly smitten.
A/N: No because I'm obsessed with this woman. So I've bit the bullet and I'm writing for Luisa. Sorry for the length, this was supposed to be a 500 word drabble but,,, it's not,,,
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Honestly, when Dolores had told her that tia Pepa had caused a mudslide on the edge of town, Luisa had been expecting a lot worse.
Delores barely had time to finish her sentence. Luisa was out onto the street, leaving the donkeys behind. A mudslide was bad. Buildings could collapse, goods could be lost – people could be buried under the mud.
And tia Pepa would need support. A disaster like this? The guilt would eat away at her. Luisa had to do what she could to make things better.
So Luisa ran. She sprinted through the market, skirted the town centre, and found herself by the collapsed road, the mud quickly hardening.
Except, it wasn’t actually that bad. Luisa’s mum stood with Mrs Rodriguez; her basket still covered. It didn’t seem like there was anyone hurt that needed healing. And the buildings were fine, Luisa wandered around the one closest to the mudslide, scanning it for any issues. Not even a crack.
Luisa rounded the corner, tio Felix was standing with tia Pepa, deep in conversation. Rain danced over the pair, but tia Pepa didn’t look nearly as distressed as Luisa had thought she would, and the rain certainly wasn’t heavy enough to cause a mudslide, not anymore.
Mr Rodriguez stepped into Luisa’s field of vision, waving her down before she could properly say hello to her Mamá. “Luisa,” he called out, jogging over to her. “Thank goodness you made it; we could use the help.”
Luisa spoke, her gaze more focused on the rest of the buildings than on Mr Rodriguez. “Delores told me what happened,” she said. “How can I help?”
“Good, good,” he said. “We’ll need help with the road.”
Luisa followed him to the back of the house at the end of the road. The mudslide took up most of the road, blocking off the only road that opened the town to the rest of the world. Amongst the mud laid a collection of carts, sprouting through like wooden daisies. Luisa winced. She’d hate to think on what goods had been lost.
“They were empty,” Mr Rodriguez said, and something in Luisa settled. “But it would be great if you could pull them out. Without them we can’t trade with the outer towns.
Luisa nodded. There were maybe five – six of them. “Yeah, okay.” She said, and started picturing how she would stack them. “I can do that.”
Mr Rodriguez gave her a grateful smile. “Thanks Luisa, you’re always a big help.”
Luisa went to comment, but decided against it, offering her thanks instead.
The sun was warm on Luisa’s back as she rounded the edge of the road, heading the cart that was on the edge. As she walked, she periodically pressed her foot against the mud, testing its stage of the drying process. Judging by the muds consistent colouring, it looked like it was all drying at the same speed.
As she reached the first cart, she took a hesitant step onto the mud, testing its strength. Luisa scrunched her nose, her foot squelched into the top layer, but otherwise the mud remained solid.
She trekked through the mud towards the cart and gave it an experimental tug. It budged pretty well. Realistically, Luisa could probably just pull it out. She looked towards the road, to the other carts stuck in the mud to varying degrees. She could probably just pull them all out.
And so she did.
Luisa bent down gripping the cart at the base. In a single heave, she pulled the cart out, and swung it onto her back. Perching it up with one arm, Luisa made her way through the carts, quickly working through them.
Truth be told, she loved this area of the town. This far out from the bustling centre, Luisa could look over and see her entire community thrive. She loved the warm sun, beating against her forehead as she straightened, the third cart nestled on her back. She loved how the wind sung through the trees, as if they were singing to the sky around them. She loved the rolling farmland fields, and the way the craggy mountain tops framed them.
From here, the town seemed alive in a way Luisa never often got to experience. The market was in full swing now, with families gathering around different stalls and marvelling at the wares. Bright colours lined the stalls, different cloths reflecting all the different people who made up Encanto’s community, and the select few people from the outer villages that made up the markets.
Luisa let out a soft smile, her gaze falling onto her younger sister. She could just make out Mirabel’s form, dancing with the band. Luisa couldn’t hear the markets, not this far away, but she had no doubt Mirabel was singing along with them too.
Luisa turned back to her task, wiping the back of her hand over her brow, and surveying the rest of the carts. It wouldn’t take much longer, and then she would be able to re-join the market.
Luisa went towards the edge of the road – where it met the houses, searching a safe place to put the carts. Her gaze wandered back to the town as she did so, and as her eyes fell onto the markets again, she froze.
Luisa’s heart jumped, pattering once, twice, until it felt as though it had fallen into her gut. There was a beat, then another, where her mind simply stopped. Her thoughts drowned in white noise.
The market had faded, the colours muted. The sky grey as it hung above. The only bright thing, the only thing worth looking at, the only thing Luisa could see, was you.
And you?
You were beautiful.
Luisa didn’t recognise you. She didn’t recognise the way your smile lit up your face, the animated way you were talking to Dolores, the way you seemed to glow in colour.
And wow, you were colourful.
You moved through the markets edge, laughing at something Dolores must have said – which, how did Dolores know you? You paused, shifting the basket in your hand, and hiking it up your arm, still in conversation. Was your basket heavy? Was that why you moved it?
You laughed again, and Luisa tried to picture the sound. Was it as bright as you? Were you weaved into the sound? Luisa wanted to hear you laugh, she wanted to make you laugh. You ran your free hand through your hair. Luisa’s fingers twitched. Your hair looked soft. Was it?
A loud thump rocked the ground at Luisa’s feet and pulled her from her reverie. Startled, Luisa turned, only to find one of the carts that she had been delicately balancing on her shoulder had crashed into the mud. Her eyes narrowed at the offending cart, and her gut hardened with lead. She hoped it wasn’t broken.
With a groan, Luisa marched to the edge of the road, setting down the remaining two carts. She looked back towards the markets, only for a moment, only to see if you were there.
You weren’t.
Luisa pursed her lips. This wasn’t right. She shouldn’t be fantasising about you, some stranger from another town. She had work to do, she needed to be helpful.
She needed to fix that cart.
Which – oh no.She’d broken the cart.
Luisa jolted, hurrying back to the cart she’d dropped. It had landed in the mud, which Luisa prayed had cushioned it’s fall. Carefully, Luisa wrapped her hands around the base, where the wood met the mud, and pulled.
Luisa let out a shaky breath. The wood had splintered on one side, a jagged crack that went from one notch in the wood to another. But it was repairable – and she was sure she’d be able to.
She hiked the cart onto her shoulder, she could collect the others, fix the cart, then go back to the markets.
And maybe see you.
Luisa frowned to herself. No, that was dumb. She shouldn’t be thinking about you. She had work to do, and she didn’t want to let anyone down.
So she squashed the thought of you into the back of her mind, and continued working.
Pulling the carts out was easy. The mud remained soft enough that they just sort of slipped out, but stayed hard enough that Luisa could still trek across it. Luisa had worked out a rhythm of pulling and stacking quite quickly, and on some level, liked the routine of it. It was balancing the carts on her shoulder that took more effort.
The carts wobbled on her shoulder, and as Luisa worked, she found herself readjusting her grip on the cart, flexing her arm to reach new angles. With each additional cart, Luisa had to pause, change her posture, and shuffle the carts into a new stack. It would probably be easier to take each cart individually to the side of the road near the Rodríguezes house, but Luisa wanted this done quickly.
She couldn’t fall behind.
It wasn’t long before she had an easy three carts balancing on her shoulder and was bending to pull out the fourth one. She wasn’t ever going to stack this one on her shoulder, she wouldn’t need to. It would be just as easy to drag it behind her and focus on the carts she already had in her grasp.
Gravity, however, had other plans.
As Luisa gripped her free hand at the base of the cart in the mud, the cart on her shoulder, on the bottom of the tower, with the jagged, rough break across the side – snapped.
The sound shot into her ear, and in an instant, Luisa twisted her body. She moved her arm up in a desperate attempt to stabilise the tower. The tower swayed, the top cart winding in a clattering descent. Luisa’s free hand fumbled forward, aiming blindly to prepare to catch whatever she could. The middle cart jutted forward, and Luisa’s heart bowled into her gut. It was all she could do to watch and simply hope that nothing would collapse to the ground. If they did, they would surely shatter.
Except… Nothing fell.
In a brilliant twist of fate, the middle cart remained stable. With that, the cart on top settled.
Luisa let out a bubble of relief, it sounding distantly of laughter. She would do two more trips, take the carts she currently had in hand, and then come back for the final one. She turned her head, making sure the carts were balanced, so she could judge the distance she would need to walk, only for her brain to shutter to a halt.
It wasn’t some sort of twist of fate that had stopped the carts from falling. It was a person. Standing by Luisa’s side, arms braced against the middle cart, was you.
You gave her a small, shy grin. “Sorry,” you said – and wow, you had a lovely voice. “It looked like they were about to fall, so I…” you moved a hand away from the carts to gesture at them. They creaked, and with widened eyes your hand shot back to balance them. You finished with a breathy grimace. “Yeah.”
Luisa’s whole body tingled, like a rope had wrapped around her frame was drawing her closer to you. She blinked at you. Once, twice. Her gaze mapped out your face, the upturn of your lips, soft and warm, the marks that lined your face, a tapestry of your memories painted on your skin, the way your eyes shone in the sunlight, glittering like starlight.
Luisa had heard of the word breathless get thrown around often. Tio Felix often said tia Pepa made him breathless, and Mirabel would often complain that trying to keep up with Luisa’s training would make her breathless. Luisa had always thought she had understood what that meant, what feeling breathless was like, but it was in this moment that she realised she never really had.
Because she stood here now, the air practically captured from her lungs, drawn around her figure and stretching itself towards you in a single breath. Luisa stood still, the breeze stilled, her own chest stilled, left to keep her standing completely in awe of you.
This was to be breathless.
You raised your eyebrows slightly, giving her a crooked smile. You introduced yourself, and Luisa could have sworn that your name was just as beautiful as you. You nodded towards her, expectantly, and some of your hair fell into your face.
Luisa itched to touch it.
Your eyebrows knotted together. “Are you okay?” Ah.
It was at this moment Luisa realised she hadn’t spoken a word to you.
“Oh,” she said, and the force of her voice startled her. “Right, of course. Introductions. That’s a thing that happens.”
You let out a soft laugh, and Luisa found herself memorising the sound. “It’s okay Luisa,” you said. “I know who you are,” and just as quickly, your face fell. “Wait, that’s weird without context.”
“No, I know,” Luisa said, and she was proud that she didn’t stumble over her words. “I saw you with Dolores earlier.”
And with that you brightened, your mouth stretching into a small, delighted smile. “You saw me?”
Luisa straightened, pulling the carts from you. You looked pleased – why did you look pleased? It made her nervous, eating into her chest and up her throat. Did you want her to look at you? Did you care?
“I um -,” Luisa winced internally, she didn’t know what to say. “I just noticed; it was only a passing glance really.”
Your face grew smaller after that, disappointed. “Ah,” you said. “No, of course.”
No. Luisa didn’t like that. It wasn’t a look she ever wanted to see on you. She tried to salvage the conversation. “You know me, though?”
“Well, it’s a bit hard to not ignore the stories of the girl who helps the village,” you said. “By the way people talk about you, it’s like you’re a hero.”
Luisa blushed. She could feel the heat spread across her cheeks and paint the tips of her ears. “Oh, I um, I don’t know about that.”
You shrugged. “Don’t sell yourself short, the world could use more people like you.”
Luisa snorted and spoke before she could help herself. She knew what you meant, what everyone always meant. “Yeah sure,” she said. “Strong.”
You cocked your head to the side, eyeing her as if learning something new. Maybe you were. “Well, that too, I guess,” you said. “But I was thinking ‘kind’.”
And that – well. That stopped Luisa in her tracks. Luisa was strong, it’s what she had always been. It’s the very thing she defined herself by. At a stretch, she was described as hard-working, maybe even busy. But kind?
Well. She was just doing her job now, wasn’t she.
But it felt reallygood to be called that, to be seen like that from you.
But Luisa was bashful, and embarrassed by the praise. It was something so new, something so different, she wasn’t sure how to react. “I don’t know,” she said, and could feel the heat burning her ears. “I’m just doing my job.”
You nodded to the carts stacked on Luisa’s shoulder. “And yet you’re collecting carts while the market is on. I’d say that’s pretty kind.”
Well. You got her there.
Before Luisa could reply, you nodded to the final cart, sitting above the hardening mud. “Do you need some help?”
Luisa looked at you, your eyes earnest, your face kind. She wasn’t one for help, but maybe she’d make the exception for you. After all, it would mean you would stay with her longer, and maybe – just maybe, she might even get to know you better.
So Luisa agreed, and you dragged your single cart behind you as you followed Luisa to the remaining carts.
Maybe, when you were both finished up here, Luisa could show you some of the sights of the Encanto. Luisa and her stranger from another town, who, after today, might be a little bit less of a stranger.
And if Luisa spied Dolores on the edge of the marketplace giving her a wide, bubbling grin, Luisa wasn’t going to say anything.
A/N^2: Hey, thanks for reading, I hope you enjoyed!! I had so much fun writing this, I'm totally planning on writing more for Luisa (and maybe even for Isabela too) so lemme know if that's something you'd like to see!! Have an amazing day!!

Dolores/Mariano Headcanons:
Dolores became so accustomed to falling asleep listening to his poetry from across town, that without super-hearing allowing her to do so she can't fall asleep
On one of their first dates she falls asleep mid afternoon listening to his poetry. When she wakes up she's super embarrassed and frantically reassures him that she loves it and spending time with him, but she just hasn't been sleeping well since everything happened. He thinks it's adorable
That night he just 'happens' to work on his poetry across the street from where she's temporarily staying. She falls asleep easily for the first time in weeks
He may be a total himbo, but between the impromptu nap and what she said during her confession, he can add 2 + 2
Even after everyone regains their powers he'll frequently sit under her balcony to read or work on poetry
Once they're married he'll whisper it to her as they cuddle in bed
Despite her "slow down" response to his first proposal, they're so smitten that it's barely been a month before Camilo and Maribel have created a betting pool for when they'll actually get engaged
Isabela wins the bet
Between courting and engagement theres only about a year before they get married
During their courtship at some point they kinda have to adress the fact that he was in an arranged betrothal with her cousin. Somehow this spirals to the 'five babies' comment.
Dolores was totally just messing with Isa when she claimed he said it, and he almost falls over laughing at hearing the story
Despite never actually saying anything along those lines, Mariano does want a big family though. Given that she's effectively the second of six kids in her family and is used to the chaos, Dolores is totally agreeable to the idea
But at the same time, Dolores is one of six kids in her family, and no one ever moves out of Casita. They agree that they definitely want multiple children, but they'll see how big the family gets and how things go, and adjust their plans accordingly
At one point during their engagement Antonio is suddenly very clinging to her, and practically growling at Mariano. Turns out that one of his friends in town mentioned that their older sister moved out after getting married, and it sent him into a panic. They're very quick to reassure her 6yo brother that she's definitely not moving out, and Mariano is instead moving in with everyone. This calms Antonio down, but he's still wary of the situation.
Resultingly, Mariano has to be reassured that he will not be mauled by a jaguar for taking Delores across town for a picnic.
Their Serenata is a poem he wrote for her and had her papa and tio Agustin help him with music for. She pretends to be surprised, and that she hasn't had all the words memorized for weeks from hearing his nervous rehearsals.
Isabela is obviously in charge of flowers for their wedding. She has to be talked down from several slightly unhinged ideas in the planning process, but Dolores doesn't want to stifle Isa's newly re-found creativity, and Isa wants to make sure its Dolores' dream wedding. The compromise is that Isa can go wild, so long as it's within the wedding colors, not carnivorous or otherwise dangerous in any way, and not going to get pollen/sap/anything staining everywhere
Dolores has never really seen Mariano wear colors before their wedding, when he surprises her with embroidery on his shirt in her signature red. Mirabel practically squealed when he sent her a note requesting her help with such. After they're married he always has at least some red in his outfit
Pepa manages to hold back her tears and the rain till everyone's inside, but there's definitely sun-showers for most of Delores and Mariano's wedding day
He obviously takes the Madrigal name
At some point during the reception Camilo manages to get ahold of some aguardiente, and the results are a hysterical mess to say the least. He swears off alcohol permanently, and frantically apologizes to his sister the next day fearing that he ruined her wedding, but everyone including the newlyweds are still laughing at his antics so much that his words are drowned out
Mariano takes to his new role as house-husband instantly. It's not much different than town himbo other than that everyone now knows he's 110% off the market. Within a few years he decides he enjoys being a stay-at-home-dad even more
She finds out she's pregnant the first time by hearing the baby's heartbeat
That's also how she found out about both brothers and Mirabel, and will find out about her neices and nephews, but it's a little different and earlier when the sound is coming from her child.
That said, with her second child it does throw her for a minute when she wakes up and can hear two new heartbeats suddenly, before realizing that only one is from her, and that she's going to be an aunt for the first time too
Their oldest is a few years older than the next cousin, but by the time they have their third kid the nursery is pretty busy
They debate for a few years about having a fourth kid before agreeing to try
Madrigals come in groups of threes though, and multiples run in the family
They're thrilled. Shocked. But thrilled. Everyone is thrilled.
Casita expands the nursery
Her brothers and cousins tease them that they were playing with fire in trying to break tradition, thus why they end up with double the kids of anyone else.
The 'playing with fire' teasing only gets worse when the youngest of their triplets ends up being a pyromancer...

Hello! Can I request a fic in which Mirabel and the reader are mutually smitten but believe the other has no interest and it's slowly driving everyone else crazy? It escalates to the point where Bruno snaps, stops hiding and gives them a tablet vision of their wedding
Alright!
You and Mirabel had been friends for years. You loved her sarcasm and her deep passion for all things. As you grew up, the feelings of friendship started to develop into something more. However, you were both a bit clueless when it came to each other.
You skipped together, and in hand one day. You tripped and accidentally drug her down to the grass. Mirabel gasped as she landed on top of you. You both giggled, faces a hair’s breath away. You got off her. And jumped as you heard a disgusted groan. Camilo stood off to the side, looking completely annoyed with you both. You blinked, and he shook his head before stomping off.
Another day, you helped her hang pennants for a festival. She stood on the ladder, and you handed the pennant up. She tried to take a step back to admire her work, however there was no step behind her. She squeaked, falling backwards safely into your arms. She touched your face softly. You smiled softly before setting her down. Mirabel looked hard over your shoulder. You spun and saw Luisa rubbing a hand her face in irritation.
Three days passed, and you danced together in the square as the local band played. You spun together in harmony. You came to a stop as the music faded, facing one another. You breathed together before you both blushed and went to step away.
“THATS IT!” Tio Bruno yelled from the side. You both looked at him in shock. He stomped forward, shoving a vision tablet into Mirabel’s chest. She took a step back and looked at it closely. She stood dumbstruck for a moment before tears welled in her eyes.
“Mira?” You asked softly. She turned the tablet to show you. In green, you stood with Mirabel, wearing clothes neither of you owned at that point. You were locked in each other’s arms, a desperate and passionate kiss central to the tablet. You locked eyes and you rushed forward, wrapping your arms around her and kissing her fiercely. She gasped before kissing you back hard.

I know we had those headcanons for little Lolo and Tío Bruno when she was younger, but what about lil Isabela? The first of the Madrigal grandkids, getting all the attention from everyone in the Encanto, how was her relationship with her oddball of a tío like when she was younger?
OOOOO I love baby Madrigal/Tio Bruno headcanon questionsss *rubs hands together*
Okay here we go!
When she was first born, he was smitten--like immediately. I really feel in my soul that he loves/has always loved babies
I got this stupid HC that she used to suck on his nose when she was an infant b/c she thought it was a boob lmao
This one is going hand in hand with @ambidextrous-space-samurai's fic (which if you haven't read it yet, PLEASE DO, highly recommend ✨) but he loved to talk to her a lot as a baby. He continued doing it as she got older and it just kind of--stuck. Kinda to his demise lol
I feel like Isa turned into a chatter-box by age 3. Since the family was always busy, they'd leave Bruno to babysit most days and she would just talk his ears all the way off. Wherever he went, there she was just chattering away. And it was his fault b/c he started this when she was an infant
But he'd just let it happen because he'd gotten used to tuning Pepa out for years-- he's great at tuning out stuff
Bruno was notorious for sneaking her sweets. Abuela and Julieta wouldn't let her have many because y'know-- the golden child has to have perfect teeth
All she'd have to do is look at him a certain way and he'd already know. I really feel like he did this with all the kids tbh lol
I see this HC a lot but I'm obsessed with it so I'll mention it anyway. Isa and Dolores definitely used to braid and play in his hair. He loved it and would fall asleep most times-- and then wake up hours later to them asleep next to him <3 (this one means a lot to me bc I used to do this to my dad and he would fall asleep quite literally every time lol)
Isabela made spa days a thing and cycled between her dad, Tio Felix and Bruno every week. Like she had them on a rotational schedule b/c she didn't play about her spa days and still doesn't
Isabela used to sprout flowers and put em in his hair and his shirt--and coffee mug
I'd like to think Bruno always used the exact same mug and she took notice of that. So before he'd pour his coffee every morning, she'd put a single petal in it. Casita was always in on it lol He'd mindlessly go to pour, sip and then-- "Isabela.." and she'd just be on the other end of the table like :) <3
Bruno taught her how to play chess-- and she's a god at it now. She still can't beat him though lol
He used to purposely let her beat him just so she wouldn't exact revenge on him in the form of leaving a bunch of pollen filled flowers on his bed
It took one time of that happening and he learned his lesson lol
That's all for now! Hope you like them! I'm--MONTHS late answering but hopefully you still care about these lolol

omega kids: what stories have you heard about your parent’s team when they were younger?
Asha: I know that Uncle Dickie and Uncle Tim talk a lot about how Mama, Baba, and Auntie Lian fought a lot as leaders. And that Baba would always bring wild animals into the tower to “heal” them. He just wanted more pets.
Charlie: Really? Papa Dick tells us that Momma and Dad were always flying off to play skyball or just show off their powers to each other
Lily: Alllllll the pranks our parents did—
Milly: How they did them—
Lily: Where they did them—
Milly: you get the picture.
Ben: It freaks me out when you do that “twin telepathy” thing
Baby dolls: what thing?
Ben: Ergh, Tio Jaime and Tio Bart mostly tell Maxie and me how badass Mom was as a kid and how Dad was completely smitten with her.
Max: Was?

WIP Wednesday
*Daniel’s POV
After nearly four painful hours in the car, we finally turn on our street. This is it. Finally home. Two figures sit on the stoop in front of our building and a smile tugs at my lips when I see who it is. Hazel. My heart starts to beat faster and it takes everything in me not to hop out of the car that instant.
"Relax, Daniel. She's just as smitten with you as the day you met." Evelyn says, putting the car in park. I laugh and start to open the door when Evelyn shakes her head, motioning for me to stay put. "Give me a few seconds."
I nod, fiddling with my crutch strap as Evelyn hops out of the car. Come on, Evi. Hurry up. A few minutes later she leans against the car, rapping her knuckle softly on the door. No turning back now, I guess. I slide out of the car, taking a deep breath to steady myself.
I walk up onto the sidewalk and tap Hazel on the shoulder, barely able to contain my excitement. She turns around, her face lighting up with happiness. "Daniel! Oh my God. It's- it's you. You're back!" Hazel throws her arms around me, hugging me tight.
I laugh, tears welling in my eyes as it finally hits me. I’m home. This isn’t a dream. All of this is real. She tilts her head up to meet my gaze and I grin, my heart swelling with joy. “I’m back, meu coração.” Hazel buries her face in my shoulder and I brush my fingers gently through her curls. “I’m not going anywhere. I promise.”
A half-smile tugs at her lips as she reaches out, brushing my tears away. "I missed you so much." Hazel rises on her tiptoes, a dusting of pink on her cheeks. I reach out, my hand cradling her cheek, both of us leaning in until her lips are on mine and is this really happening? I wrap my arms around her waist and pull her close, deepening the kiss.
Our lips move in sync, both of us red in the face when we finally pull away. Hazel grins, linking her fingers through mine. “Welcome home, my love.” Before I can say anything, little arms wrap around me and I laugh, shaking my head.
"Marco, let go of him." Evelyn says, laughing as she  peels him off me. Marco frowns, sticking his tongue out at her. "Keep doing that. Your face will freeze that way."
"Tio Daniel! You're home." Marco says, bouncing up and down. I laugh and put a hand on his shoulder, which doesn't do much. "Mamãe didn't tell me you were coming home." He says, hugging me once again.
"I had to keep it a secret. You would've ruined the surprise." Evelyn says, ruffling his hair. Marco crosses his arms over his chest, sitting down on the steps. “Come on. Let’s go inside.”

MON girls + Smith reacting to a cute someone hitting on them at the bar? Bonus points for the pickup line that the cutie uses
Zombina grins and decides to one up you. What follows is a barrage of sharp-witted and sharp-tongued pickup lines that goes beyond the norm. She grins from ear to ear at how easily she flustered you. Eventually, you say the line, "Is rigor mortis contagious? Asking for personal reasons." And oh, how the turns have tabled.
Doppel is rather disinterested. Yeah you're cute, but she doesn't know a lot about you. So you sit, chat, make small talk, and Doppel slowly and slowly becomes more uninterested until she hears your drink order for a relatively high-end scotch. She arches a brow at you and asks "What's this? Busting out the big bucks just to impress me?" Embarrassed, you respond that you received university tenure that day, and you're celebrating. Now she's curious. You buy her a measure of your drink. She begins to open up to you a bit more throughout the night. At the end of the evening, you ask her if she wants to see a play with you, and she accepts. Rather than asking for numbers, you give her a date, address and time, much to her amusement.
Manako wants to die. She's awkward, introverted, and doesn't know how to react until you start apologizing for making her uncomfortable and walk away. On one hand, she's grateful, on the other hand, she wants to invite you back for being so considerate. But now she be like "N-NO! DON'T LEAVE, YOU'RE TOO CUTE-I MEAN HANDSOME-I MEAN...ooooh..." So you pause, then sit down next to her, a blushing mess, yourself, and start talking about things a little more normally. No flirting, just discussion with a drink or two. She's smitten, and this makes her so nervous. In a moment of boldness, you reach out and rest your hand on hers. This does not help. You pull your hand back. Now she's shyly clinging to your arm. You done messed up, son. Now you're stuck with a girlfriend for the rest of the night. You quickly find out that this is not a bad thing because she's sweet and cute as hell and really good at darts. You're both tearful when you call her a cab to take her home. She calls you the next day because she wants to hear your voice. You're mildly hungover and somewhat confused, and it takes you a good 30 seconds to process what's going on, but the second you do, you immediately perk up. Cue you asking her to breakfast and the most whirlwind and perfect romance in the history of the universe.
Tio is excited as hell. Most people stay flinging distance (which is a long-ass way) from her because they're intimidated. But when you outright call her cute, she immediately grins, and the cute factor amps up to infinity. She's especially glad because she's still in work clothes. She's giving you a great big hug and gushing over you. Naturally, you're sitting there, your head sitting on the softest pillows they've ever sat on, thinking "Well this went from 0-100 real fast" The whole thing basically goes off without a hitch. She winds up giving you her number just before she leaves, and she's so jazzed when you call her to plan your first official date.
Smith looks at you in bemusement. She's gonna have some fun with this. Admittedly, you didn't measure your mark properly. You saw that she has legs for days and didn't notice the sunglasses at night, the glass of high-end liquor in front of her, nor the predator's gaze in her eyes over her shades when you sat down. She comes off as intimidating at first, only to turn out to be a barrel of fun. She winds up besting you in pool several times over, with a round of drinks being the wager. You have no room to argue. You're just enjoying yourself. Eventually, it gets to the point where you two can barely stand. Smith asks you back to her place because she doesn't think you have enough for a cab and she doesn't want you walking halfway across the city to your place. You don't remember what happened afterwards, but you woke up in her bed with no clothes on, so you have a pretty good idea.
